20 Best Virtual Valentines Gifts (2022 Updated)

I’m allergic to latex. Wanted a foam version that probably does not contain it. Many of the rubber super squishy liquid filled ones are actually latex rubberized. Meantime I also was not buying for myself but for my dentists office.

I stay pretty relaxed during my annual checkups and cleanings. But recently they mentioned that some patients could use a squishy ball in their hands to help with tension during their cleanings. WHY not a smiley face I thought.

So I went home to search for some and sure enough Amazon has them and hearts too. And in different sizes. I did not want too larger nor too small. So these were the winners hands down. I bought two packs for full 24.

I thought I would open the packs where each dozen share a bag of it’s own and repack each individual heart in a sealmeal or heat sealed plastic wrap. I have both systems but need to be worried about the heat gun if it could damage the foam ball itself.

So some playing around is needed here first. Also I could just re-wrap each in glad like commercial wrap I have on hand for when I sell paper products to mail. But they would not be totally sealed. So in the mean time I also need to check them out for durability in can they be sanitized with handsanitizer without damage to printed faces or surface etc.

I think they can but again I want to double check before taking to dentists office for them to hand out. Meantime I have plenty if it turns out I myself ends up with 24 squishy hearts to play with. LOL.

I put these in a red plastic heart for Valentines Day for my grandkids. I have a prize wheel that my grandkids spin on holidays and this was one of the prizes that they got. They seemed to enjoy them.

I ordered this bracelet as a gift for my fiancé on our wedding day. My fiancé was given a similar bracelet with a special engraving from his late grandmother a few years ago. Unfortunately, the bracelet was lost.

When I came across this bracelet, I was so excited because it looks almost exactly like his original bracelet. I reached out to Kelly to ask if she would be able to engrave the special message from his grandmother on to the bracelet.

She was more than willing to accommodate my request. The bracelet shipped very quickly. The words are a little smaller than expected, which could be attributed to the fact that the message is a little lengthy, but the message is still readable.

I love these 3D cards and this one is beautiful. The music is lovely and when it lights up, the light shines through all 3D layers. I know the tune it plays, but can place it. This is beautifully crafted card. I bought it as a Valentine’s Day card for my fiancee and he loved it! The musical part is quite short, but that does not take any points away. I would absolutely recommend this card!.

I have to start out by saying the pictures online does really reflect the true size and beauty of this card. It is absolutely beautiful!! The person that receives this card will be absolutely amazed!! I could not add a photo because my Samsung Note take high resolution photos that were not able to be uploaded to this review due to its size.

There was a time that I laughed at the idea of an all in one VR headset. I’ve tried out the PS VR, the HTC Vive, and the Valve Index. All are fantastic, with great visuals, but they’re also all tethered to a console or a PC.

I didn’t think that the Quest 2 could honestly compete with them, so I never gave it much thought. But I also don’t have the room at the moment for a permanent or even semi-permanent VR setup, so after getting a few gift cards for Christmas, I decided to give the Quest 2 a shot.

I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised and I’ll try to explain why. Graphically, its not going to be on par with the latest PC VR headsets, simply because they’ve got more memory and graphics power to play with that a PC does, but the Quest doesn’t look bad at all.

Some of the models are lower poly count, but they still look good and are pretty immersive, and thats the important part. That and the fact that you aren’t tethered to anything, since the Quest uses inside-out postional tracking.

There are no sensors to set up. You can take it anywhere, and play anywhere, which is a big plus for me. You just set up your safe play area (its basically a wall that the Quest warns you about if you get too near, so you don’t hit or run into anything when you’re playing.

The Quest actually remembers it too, so if you play in the same area like I do, you set it once and then don’t have to do anything except make sure the area is clear before you start playing. The headset is comfortable enough with the standard strap, although if you want to play for longer periods, you might want to change that up.

There are official straps as well as after market options. Audio quality is good too, even though there are any “headphones”. The audio is actually pumped through the plastic strap connectors toward your ears.

It’s a pretty ingenious solution actually, but it is an open system, so ambient noise is not blocked out. You can use a set of headphones though, as there is a 3. 5mm headphone jack on the side near the USB C charging port.

The handheld controllers are comfortable and sturdy, and use AA batteries. I was concerned that I would be going through a lot of batteries, as most VR controllers are rechargeable, but the batteries in the Quest controllers seem to last a long time (Almost a month and the original ones are still going strong for me) The headset itself is rechargeable, which limits the playtime, but I find that 2-3 hours of play time is more than enough for me.

I find I need a break around 1. 5-2 hours in anyway, but if you want more playtime between charges, there are battery pack options out there (Including the Elite Strap w/battery). The included charger takes about 2-2.

5 hours to completely charge the built in battery from empty to full. Finally, don’t think that buying the Quest is locking you into stand alone VR, as you can actually connect your headset to your PC with a link cable and use it as a PC VR headset, making it one of the best options for getting into VR.

While I hate to give Facebook credit (I refuse to call them Meta), I think the Quest 2 is great, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The Oculus Quest 2 is a neat glimpse into the future bogged down by a plethora of issues. Privacy concerns withstanding – as Meta is aiming to monitor every movement and facial expression one makes whilst using the device – there are many practical problems with the design of the device itself.

It only has 3 different IPD settings, meaning that anyone whose IPD falls in between or outside of the presets will have an issue with blurring vision and an unclear image. This was a huge part of what I disliked about my experience with it, as it gave me significant headaches and visual distortion well after stopping use of the device.

For clarity’s sake, I used it for about 30 minutes at a time, once a day for a few days in a row. Many people tend to complain about feeling motion sickness when using these devices and while I did feel a little goopy in the gut, I didn’t enjoy the sensation of motion enough to get to where this was a serious issue for me.

I grew up playing video games regularly and still do occasionally, so it was entertaining to see how I could interact with games in a 3D space. That being said, none of the games felt very satisfying, and these days if I want to play a video game I certainly don’t want to be strapped into an uncomfortable near-eye projector to be fully engaged in the experience.

The headstrap is a well-documented nightmare and it’s absurd that they charge extra for a higher-quality one instead of changing out the one included. They finally added a silicone cover to the padding around the eyes after countless complaints about the foam irritating people’s skin, and I’m not surprised as it feels kind of like fine sandpaper to the touch.

What would have been the most relaxing experiences were dulled by low-resolution image quality (on a high-speed connection, no less) and in the case of multiplayer games, a disturbing amount of young players – well below the recommended age for using the device in the first place.

It’s a shame that parents don’t monitor their kids better to prevent this from happening and instead slap them into a device that will invariably detriment their developing sense of balance and spatial recognition.

Further still, it is disappointing that Facebook (now rebranded as Meta) has done so little to mitigate these issues. Ultimately, perhaps this product is merely not for me. However, I would recommend against it to anyone who is looking to use it for relaxation and absolutely insist that nobody use this for long periods as it can be dangerous – as is stated in the health and safety information included with the device.

I’m very impressed with this headset! I wrestled with whether to pay $100 more for double the storage capacity, but after perusing apps in the Oculus store and averaging app sizes, I determined there was too little value in that.

Down the road, if I get REALLY into VR in general, I might wind up regretting that decision, but I honestly think that would be the only thing I’d regret about this device. Oculus was experiencing some kind of server issue that prevented me from completing registration and setup right away, so it was about 4 hours after I unboxed it that I was able to use it.

And boy, was I blown away! I still have a VR headset that requires a phone be stuck in it, but I haven’t used it in a while for just that reason. This one, of course, doesn’t need that, and the resolution is really, really good.

Your IPD (Inter-pupillary distance), or the distance between your eyes, can be accommodated by selecting from 3 different widths. I read one review that said the maximum is 68mm, but their IPD was 72.

In that case, the image will appear blurry. For that reason, I suggest checking your IPD before you purchase. What’s in the box is simple, the headset, two controllers (with batteries), a spacer for those who wear glasses and a silicone piece that makes it comfortable to wear against your face.

It’s very well balanced and doesn’t feel heavy to me, but there are optional head straps you can get if you find it too front-heavy. I also like the passthrough feature that lets you see your real-world environment if/when you need to.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and immersiveness of the sound, but I will probably get some ear buds soon so I can get a fuller volume level (I usually have the volume on about 6-7). But it sounds great.

The ‘Home’ environment, which is set up like a house or apartment, is really cool, and there are several different designs available. I found the battery life, stated as about two hours, to be pretty accurate, but I bought a 10-foot USB cable so that I could have it plugged in and playing while it’s charging (yes, you can use it fully while it’s charging).

There is a head strap available with a place for an optional battery to extend use time without worrying about a cable, but that doesn’t seem necessary to me, at least not at this point. I just got done using it, and I was in VR for about 3 1/2 hours, and battery life was still 82%.

So far, I have used it for probably 20 hours total since I’ve had it, and the controller batteries are still at 100%. I’m sure that depends on what you’re doing, though. I have watched a couple of movies, and with the ability to have a curved screen (or flat if you prefer) that views even larger than my 60″ TV, it’s just amazing.

I’ve also played a few games, watched some videos of dancers, concerts, and awesome, immersive tours of places like Switzerland, Italy, the Matterhorn, Great Lakes, under-sea stuff and so many more. All of it has been awesome.

And so far, I have found enough good, free content that I haven’t gotten around to purchasing anything yet! Another effective feature is the voice control. You can do almost anything using voice commands, including powering the device off.

I haven’t explored that feature too deeply yet, but I have started and stopped apps and games, checked local time and weather and performed several other functions just by telling it what I want. You just double-press the ‘Oculus’ button to get it to listen for voice commands One complaint I know many will have, is that setting up the device REQUIRES a Facebook account.

BUT, you can set it so that your FB profile info, including your profile name, will not be revealed in VR if you happen to do some multi-person thing, and neither is your Oculus username revealed to your FB contacts, so that doesn’t bother me at all.

The only thing I wish, and this is so minor it’s really almost petty, but I do wish it came in black. That isn’t even worth deducting stars over. Overall, I just love it, and I highly recommend it!.

While the document is nice, I would have thought it would be mounted in the frame instead of taped to it. And the “glass” is actually a plastic, and it is scrapped across two parts of the plastic. I expected better.

2 Stars because the document looks nice. UPDATE: The damages plastic was from a plastic sheet placed on both sides of the frame acrylic. Looked much better when I scrapped it off. Still would prefer it came mounted (then this would have never come up) Really appreciate that Star Poster followed up to make it better.

The star maps are beautiful but a few flaws. The frame I purchased with my previous order are a cheaper style frame, so opted to do a pdf and print on my own not realizing that can only print in particular sizes & frames to match are difficult to find.

A proof read correction spot incase there are simple spelling mistakes. Of course it is my error & not found when I double checked. But now I have a map that is beautiful with a spelling error. No way to correct it although I paid for the map.

I have choosen the large print with black wooden frame. Eventhough the print is very nice, i would have expected a better frame quality( the print doesn’t stay fixed but it moves inside the frame) and the print cover is not made of glass but from a hard plastic material.

All in all, i don’t regret purchasing it but next time I will order just the print and buy myself the frame.

After getting five of these for my parents, my siblings and I. my brother immediately retorted “Why not just send a text message instead?”. Well, LoveBox does something no text message can do — it makes you LOOK FORWARD to walking in the room and seeing the heart toyfully spinning on the little wooden box.

You get a little smile on your face every time you go up and lift the lid to see what message is waiting for you. It’s better than “just a text message” because it’s personal, it’s on your time, and it doesn’t require you to respond right away (although, we love how you can spin the heart to send back a “waterfall of hearts” to the sender).

I also look forward to getting notifications on my phone when people read the messages I send — it’s rewarding and satisfying, and makes you want to keep sending messages regularly. It’s just a simple, intimate way of sending little thoughts and notes.

It puts family members in touch that rarely talk to each other. And it’s making my elderly parents smile several times each day as they get messages from all their kids and grandkids (especially since only my Dad has the phone, and my Mom never sees text messages — but now they BOTH get LoveBox messages!).

Thank you for creating something that’s simple and personal and takes the “tech” out of the “tech”.

It is a good purchase and I’d give it 5 stars but it seems to lack some basic features that make it 3. 5 stars for me right now. Basically it has to compete with just texting your spouse or friend or family instead.

The box creates a special feeling around receiving a message and the spinning heart as a notification and some nice whimsy versus a light or something. The disappointment is in the ability when creating messages.

Text can only be placed in two locations. Font sizes and styles cannot be changed in the program. You can always gin up your own pictures or messages with unique fonts and then save them as a picture and then put them in your album then import it to the Lovebox app and THEN send it to the Lovebox but this is cumbersome.

There is no animation, such as falling stars or hearts. There is no video or sound. Basically, the concept of sending sweet private notes is great for a relationship. However, when compared to all the features on something like Apple Messaging, it comes across as early 2000 technology.

This probably means that the internal parts would make the price point too outrageous for audio, animation, or video. There are some promised improvements coming as an upgrade over WiFi. The only other issue some may have is that there is only one recipient per Lovebox.

Multiple people can send messages to the box but practically should only be one recipient as once a message is viewed it disappears. Even if that condition were to change I think having multiple recipients on the same Lovebox would negate the special nature of it.

I don’t think this is a defect, but some may be disappointed. Overall, I’m glad I got it for my wife as a Valentine’s Day gift, and I am anxiously awaiting the upgrades to see what improvements come.

I’d say if you have a little disposable income to use on a very special gift then this is perhaps worth it for you. The underlying concept of sending special messages routinely is great for all relationships.

I love getting a message from my long distance significant other. The novelty makes it feel more special than a text message. I like that I can hear the subtle ticking noise when I get a notification because I can’t always see the heart spinning.

We originally purchased the black and white boxes, but liked that we could later purchase a color functionality. I think this is such a cute way to send a message to a loved one. My friends saw my box in use and have all expressed how cute it is! I would definitely recommend this for long distance couples, families with loved ones who live far away, and even kids as they can still receive messages even without a phone.

After copping the all white pair with the grey suede heel tab for $120, I was expecting high things from a seemingly ordinary looking pair of white on white AF1s. Needless to say, this pair did not disappoint, but there are still a few quirks that I would like resolved.

Firstly, this pair is probably one of the best quality AF1s I’ve had in hand. The leather is very soft, tumbled, and “wrinkly”, and creases far better than the “pleather” found on the $90 pairs. I was also impressed by the upgraded insole which to me feels a bit more plush, as well as the liner used in the heel area which is softer and more smooth.

The iridescent silver dubrae is a nice touch as well. The laces also seem more premium given their rubberized metal tips and almost stretchy nylon material. I could’ve done without the rough grey suede, but it’s nice quality and doesn’t take away from the shoe.

Now as to what I didn’t like is that my right shoe has excess fabric in the inside heel area which has bunched up; it’s not uncomfortable but just an aesthetic thing and expected better in terms of QC.

In addition, the sneaker itself is still chunky and the toe box is just as boxy as the $90 pair. I guess I thought that since this was the “Craft” version, it would have a more streamlined and aerodynamic re-crafted toe box similar to the OG pairs.

I also noticed that the tongue is made of a nylon material which isn’t bad, but I would appreciate it if it was a bit softer and the branding was more prominent. One thing to note is that the Craft pair seems to run TTS.

I compared them to my other 9. 5 AF1s and the 9. 5 in the Craft version feels much more snug and there is an ever so slight difference in the length as well. So no need to go a half size down in my opinion! Overall, I am pretty impressed by these shoes.

I think many people don’t value quality and can’t seem to justify the $30 increase for the Craft version hence almost all color ways of the shoes not being sold out and even going under retail. I think Nike should charge $115 for the Crafts to attract more people.

Now I am patiently waiting for a triple black Craft AF1 with and iridescent silver dubrae and silver lace tips! Please make that happen Nike!.

The quality of the leather itself and the extra-cushioned insole alone make up for the small increase in price. Though I hesitated on older pairs, the sail and orange-red (I would compare the color to more of a Mars red) suede hits combined pulled at my attention immediately.

The fit is identical to the non-Craft AF1 – if you usually go true to size, then go true to size. I personally wouldn’t recommend sizing down unless you lace your shoes loosely. The padded insole pushes your foot up a bit closer to the fabric.

I went true to size (Men’s 12) and the shoe was a little roomy but not too much. Personally I prefer a looser fit but if that’s not your thing then maybe go a size down. Based on the flex tests I performed on the shoe, the leather does not seem to crease at all when the toebox is bent – much like the cheaper GR AF1 is infamous for.

Instead of an unsightly crease, the smooth, buttery, pebbled leather bounces back to its original shape almost instantaneously. Speaking of bounce, the comfort on these compared to regular Forces cannot be understated.

The combination of the insole, air unit, and stable outsole make for what is, in my opinion, the perfect level of comfort. I’ve owned the primary sole tech of the other brand with the stripes, (i’ll call it “Speed”) and to me it is cushioned, but unstable.

While jumping on a mattress is fun, walking on it is not. This shoe allows me to feel firmly planted on the ground while simultaneously avoiding the feeling of hitting the bare pavement. These are going to be my daily shoes for a while.

If you’re looking for a new pair of Forces, but want something a step up from your run of the mill triple white AF1, go for these. If you’re still reading this review then you obviously want these. Just get them.

Don’t judge me but this is the FIRST AF1 I HAVE EVER OWNED. I know. I know. I know. What broke me down to grab a pair now? Personally, curiosity. I went to an outdoor concert last month and literally so the majority of up and coming bands have at least one person wearing them.

So, I was like let me check these out if they are making a comeback. Low and behold, I tried the OG as well and the Craft and must recommend that bump up in price is worth it. PERIOD That out of the way, let me CliffsNotes a review right quick.

My TTS is a 10 but my Nike size is a 10. 5. I purchased BOTH the 10 and 10. 5 because all I hear about is to “size down. ” The 10 is the size I kept and love it. Comfortable with no needed time to break-in.

Furthermore, I just got back from travel and it was a beast in terms of resistance to dirt and scuffs. Additional colorways will be added to my collection and should be revisited if you’ve taken a pause from the silhouette.

However, 1 of these that I sent had a broken bottle of beer on arrival which made things a little messy with broken glass and beer on every thing. They were still overjoyed with this great assortment of things to eat and drink! Thank you for these wonderful baskets, we will certainly be using these again!!.

My only sister, a recent widow, sent me this cute card because I love cats. The envelope was bulky. The card inside looked somewhat smashed. The music would play but the little device that threw up little round sequin like confetti inside the “globe” then work.

We were both disappointed. Cannot tell whether this card was defective before it was mailed. I think it’s unrealistic to send these types of cards through USPS. IMO.

I ordered this online for my boyfriend so I hadn’t seen it in person until it was delivered to my house. I just love it! It’s very easy to put together, and when you press the button, it not only plays a tune, but the confetti inside the snow globe also flies around while the song is playing! It’s something different to give rather than a traditional Valentine’s card, and even more special!.

I sent it to my best friend’s Mom. She is 94 living in a nice facility. She has Alzheimers. So I always send her fun Halkmark cards that move, play music, or say funny things. I never know when she will or won’t understand them.

But when she does in that moment she laughed. That is always my goal. She is a wonderful person.
