20 Best Vitamin C Sunscreen (2022 Updated)

This is my holy grail facial sunscreen in every aspect but the price ($43). For every bottle I buy, I resolve to find something cheaper next time and then end up with something not as good. Truly, it’s a vicious cycle.

It feels good on my skin, the faint greasiness of sunscreen doesn’t last for very long, and I my skin is softer and looks better after using. Most importantly, unlike many other sunscreens, it has never broken me out.

Not even once, and sunscreens are one of my two big triggers. Also it works really well under my makeup. A lot of people only want physical sunscreens due to several misconceptions about chemical sunscreens, so I feel like this doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

I have started being even more careful using sunscreen daily. I’ve used it for years, but not using the best products to protect from sun damage. I tanned a lot when I was younger, so I had developed some sun spot areas.

Along with sunscreen, I’ve been doing broadband laser treatments to remove my sunspots. I wanted to try something that would give me great protection, with out leaving me greasy. I’ve heard this brand was great for many years.

I was blown away by how this serum sunscreen feels. It has a light consistency, and goes on like a dream. Absorbs quickly and gives me a smooth base for make up. I highly recommend this product. Protect your skin y’all!.

As someone who knows nothing about beauty products, I rely on my one friend to help me as this is her niche. She suggested I try this product and wow! My face looks awesome after using it. I’m very impressed.

My skin is also not irritated afterwards, which is a big plus. I really like this product. I also can use it as a spot treatment I’m told, but I enjoy looking like an alien and doing a full mask. My skin gets oily relatively fast and I’m prone to acne when stressed.

Using this stuff eliminates all of that or at least takes it down a few notches. Definitely a great experience.

I purchased a bottle for a four day trip to the Caribbean during October. I ended up sharing it with my two friends because they loved the scent so much and the bottle lasted right up till the end of our trip.

No white cast, reef safe, lovely light scent, gentle on body/face, and super easy to use. During our trip I acquired a cut on my leg from snorkeling, the spray was super gentle when I used it on that skin area.

It does leave a bit of a shine on the skin, my friends and I didn’t care for it since it was so hot and humid our bodies were constantly sweaty. Amazing product! No lobster colored skin here!.

I purchased this hoping for a non-stinky, yet quick applying sunscreen to protect my kids’ skin this summer. It was definitely non-stinky according to them. We applied this heavily, at least 15 min prior to swimming and sun exposure, and we did not exceed one hour in the sun.

My kids are now very, very tan and nearly burnt. I also used it on my skin and received sun burns on my arms. Points for non-stinky and quick application for 4 children. But the entire purpose of sunscreen is to protect against sun damage, and it didn’t do that.

I’ve been using this product daily and testing it as my go-to routine for the past few weeks. I can say that this is the best spray-on sunscreen that I have used. I typically stay away from this type of application as generally speaking they can be bad for the environment and many are super ineffective, however, this product totally shifts my opinion! Not only is it extremely environmentally friendly but it is also highly effective.

I am not fair-skinned at all and usually tan very easily but I have really put an emphasis on protecting my face to avoid the perils of potential skin cancer. I feel that this product does a great job absorbing into my skin and providing the protection I need to feel safe and comfortable while out and about with my face exposed to the elements.

I look forward to using this product on more than just my face and ears as the warmer months approach here in the Boston area!.

The nozzle would clog up rendering the spray useless. When the spray did work on other cans, the product is fantastic. No hints of sun burn while in the tropics. Ours kids and I enjoyed the refreshing scent of the spray.

My wife enjoyed the smell as well. There was no stickiness at all. The spray went on quick and lasted in the water as advertised. Just wish one can did not clog.

At last I’ve found a sunblock that my husband will wear. My husband is a carpenter battling severe sun damage and he has particularly sensitive skin. He is also extremely picky about sunblock. This spray is the answer.

Not sticky, smells great and works really well to protect his skin from further sun damage. The one an only block he will faithfully wear and the only one I will ever buy again.

This product has not only stayed on my face all day long, but if it does not spread my makeup or clog my pores. I actually feel like my skin looks better since using it. I mean it. I like that its so smooth putting it on.

I love this moisturizer for colder months when my face feels dry as soon as I get out of the shower. It makes my skin so soft! It did burn a little when I first started using it but not so bad that I stopped using it.

I noticed in warmer months it is not breathable enough for me- it makes my face sweat. So would save it for fall and winter. Not a bad price either as face moisturizer goes. A little goes a long way.

I laughed at someone’s comment that they said they put on their contacts and it burned their eyes and blamed it on this product. 1st OF ALL I am a 35 year old woman wearing contacts ALL Day since I was 14 and know how to clean and handle contact lenses.

I can assure you I have not gone through this issue because I know how to handle contacts. Now about this product. It’s a face cream so if your outside gardening in the heat you’ll probably sweat and this cream isn’t sun screen people, put on a sunscreen if you plan on doing activities in sun! It’s a normal day cream!!! With that said it works great.

The smell is lovely. If you are sensitive to smells don’t buy this product. My skin, which is classified as combo, reacted well to this product. I was able to comfortably use it with my two young kids (rub my face to theirs cause they like to cuddle for naps) and no eczema flairs has happened, thank goodness.

Cons, this product is expensive, yes there are cheaper alternatives out there. But what this brand does well is it gives you the feeling of luxury. I would buy this product.

I personally like this a lot. I’d pretty much tried strivectin’s entire range now. I live in San Diego in CA and moved from UK 1. 5 years ago – never in my life have I been exposed to such UV! As a red head who ‘toasts’ I absolutely need SPF but hate the gross slimey feel of it and the fact it makes my skin sort of irritated and sensitive.

I also do not fancy looking like more of a ghost than I already do with the mineral suncreams. This is working for me for sure as well as the vit C to combat the freckle development (a smatter of freakles are cute.

when they start to combine and make their own islands you just look skin damaged and sick). I have no issues with anything from this brand and I’ve tried just about everything. I was having major issues with my skin from age 26-now (32) – ache, not settling into a pattern, flaking, over sensitized.

Confession – if I’m out during the day and its sunny I do put this on first, wait for 10 mins for it to soak in and then go over it with Neutrogena spf 50 (but the UV is 11 here!). Whatever this is doing it is stopping the itching feeling of the suncream and I even put it closer to my eyes than I would a suncream with 0 irritation.

This is not going to be ‘harsh’ on your skin but is going to be powerful. Additionally, I have found all their protects help to repair the skin barrier and cause me 0 products. I like the smell of them all too – they smell healthy not fake even though I am sure they must have fragrance in them (which I think creates some sort of placebo effect to help you feel calm and clean).

The only other product that is similar I can think of is Guinot’s Beauty Neuve, which has 0 spf (vit C moisturiser aimed at renewing the look of skin). It is a lovely brand also and reminds me a bit of Strivectin in texture.

But it doesn’t have the SPF and is a little more harsh so you’re going to use that more as a night-time cream. This I would pick as a day time moisturizer over any other brand currently especially if you’re in a sunny place, you respond very well to Vit C, you want something that doesn’t feel slimy and sinks in within 10 min to give you great moisture and good base for makeup.

The major plus for me is the nicotinamide – if you respond well this is the brand for you (even over Olay, which again is slimy and doesn’t do much for me). I don’t have anything bad to say about it other than it might be nice to have a non-jar option (maybe a travel option?) as I am using cotton buds to get it out of the tub right now – it does it’s job as a day time moisturiser and is spot on.

I’ve used it every day for ~3m.

This does not feel like sunscreen, hooray! I have always been interested in skincare, and though somewhat late (@30 yrs) in wearing sunscreen. Like most of us, I have tried many. This feels like luxurious skin nourishment.

So very light, NOT Greasy, My mother disliked putting cream or anything on her face and said sunscreen felt “greasy. ” If she were still here I believe she would like and actually use this! I use this SPF 30 Vit.

C Moisturizer every morning and know I am taking the best care of my skin! It absorbs easily & completely. It is perfect over other serums and under primers & any foundation. A Must Have in My Morning Routine.

I may altérnate w/ the Strivectin Advanced SPF 30 Retinol , but this is my favorite. I feel and see a definite effect & improvement in the texture, smoothness, and evenness of my face & neck w/ this Moisturizing Skin Treat Vit.

C Sunscreen. LOVE IT!.

This is a great product, but they kind of ruined it with a SUPER strong fragrance. I don’t dislike the fragrance itself, it actually smells okay (to me it smells like those scentsicles you put in your artificial christmas tree to make it smell real), but it is SO super strong, it’s all I can smell all day.

Like, even over the actual perfume I put on, this smells stronger. So I’m docking a star for that. Otherwise, it is matte, non-greasy (and I have extremely oily skin), doesn’t make me get super greasy over the course of the day, and moisturizes well enough that I don’t need a separate moisturizer or even eye cream underneath.

I haven’t noticed any anti-aging effects yet but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. It’s kind of expensive, but not outrageously so. I like the formula so I’m going to use up the tube, but because of the fragrance I probably won’t repurchase unless I get used to it enough that it stops bothering me.

When I first used it, I loved the cosmetic elegance and how it feels on my skin. Yes, like what everyone was saying, the fragrance is so strong. I typically do not have any reaction to any active ingredients.

I use VC, VA, anything with no problem. I had my first allergic reaction three weeks ago. I was red, a bit swollen, very itchy from face to neck. I thought other new products I just opened and used caused it, and at that time i was using other sunscreen for sensitive skin.

Two weeks ago I started using this again on a day I ate a lot of seafood, so I thought it was the seafood gave me the same reaction. Now I was totally healed and used this sunscreen for the third times, and again my entire face look like monster.

I wonder what exact ingredient gave me allergy.

I love love love Vichy products. All of my skincare is from Vichy and liftactiv series. But the sunscreen I got 2 days ago is the worst thing I have ever used. I used it after the retinol even after I wait for an hour for everything to dry, when I use this sunscreen it crumbles.

I have no idea how to explain it but after I use the sunscreen in a few minutes it Comes out in little white lumps. Everywhere on my face it becomes like little white lumps and drops everywhere. I tired using it after the retinol, after it dries or right after I use the retinol and I tried while my face had no other products on it but result is the same.

I don’t know how to return it. I got it a few days ago.

Received the deluxe size with last year’s Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit. It was one of the best sunscreens included in the kit. It is so comfortable and easy to apply and blend, and does not leave a white cast at all.

It feels like I am applying a lightweight regular moisturizer. I also noticed that my skin looked brighter and hydrated, but I am afraid some people with oily skin would find it greasy. Another great thing is that it contains Vitamin C in ingredients, so that I get to enjoy two advantages at the same time.

A huge downside was it burnt my eyes extremely bad that I had to wash my face very well. I expected this expensive sunscreen would be different. So you have to carefully apply it without getting this close to your eye area.

A little goes a long way and this small 23 ml lasts me a whole month with daily application. Would repurchase only if it was cheaper.

I’ll be honest, when a product has SPF in it, I’m usually not a fan of it. These types of products feel very heavy on my skin. And unfortunately, Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 followed suit with that.

The moisturizer didn’t make my skin feel greasy, but the SPF additive was just too much for my skin. It was rather easy to apply, though and at the end of the day, it did come off easily enough. I don’t really think Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 did much for my skin other than keeping it hydrated, truthfully.

It’s pricey, so it’s not something that I would end up purchasing and at this point, I probably wouldn’t recommend. However, every product does work differently for each person. So, what doesn’t work for me, may work for someone else.

I have been extremely busy lately and have been searching for products that I normally would not use, but since I am attempting to shorten my daily routine, I’ve tried several kinds of products that are multifunctional.

The Environmental Shield Essential-C Day Moisture is a great product that I use to combine several of my daily routine into one product. This product is a hydrating moisturizer, Sunscreen, and also includes Vitamin C.

Most of us use three separate products in order to get all three benefits in our daily morning routine, but with this cream it takes those three important steps into one product. I think Murad has some great products, and it gets overlooked by some other “hyped Insta”brands.

Murad has simple packaging and has some great ingredients. But can be overpriced. It does not have the “IT” factor that a lot of newer brands have. The ingredients include: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 6.

5%, Octinoxate 7. 5%, Octisalate 5%, Oxybenzone 2% As well as Amino Acids, Pelvetia Extract, Ginkgo Extract, Grape Seed Extracts, and Passiflora Extract. Although it does have moisturizing ingredients, it alone does not provide me enough hydration to last me the day.

I do need to utilize a second cream on top, and on most days, I also need a facial oil to make it through the day. It does leave a white cast, but does absorb easier than similar sunscreens. The SPF is 30/PA+++, which is the prefect amount of sunscreen for days I stay inside or when it’s cloudy and rainy outside.

The cream also supposedly helps reduce free radicals and repairs the moisture barrier.

I picked this up when I forgot to pack my everyday skincare and this has become my new go-to SPF! It’s not greasy, my face is moisturized, and my skin feels soft and nourished. For anyone questioning the ingredient claims, Google is always an AMAZING resource.

have we really gotten that lazy?? Why complain about products irritating your skin or give low ratings when you can’t be bothered to research the ingredients?? How is that Loreal’s fault? Ok, rant over.

Woosah. Anyway, Google produced the following answers –> Retinol=retinyl palmitate, Vitamin C=ascorbyl glucoside (a vitamin C derivative), Hyaluronic Acid=sodium hyaluronate, plus it has niacinamide which is always a win!! I tend to invest in my skincare so I think it’s a great value for the results.

This gem is saving me about $30 by replacing my usual brand, so I’m happy. :).

I received this product about three weeks ago, free of charge, in exchange for my honest personal testimony. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, just that I had been experiencing some skin issues lately that I have not had to deal with in the past, so when I was given the opportunity to try the L’Oreal revitalift with 10% glycolic acid, I jumped on board and am so glad that I did.

In addition to having some lingering acne scars from when I was younger, I’ve been seeing more smile lines, crows feet, discoloration on my face and neck. Since I began using the serum and moisturizer, I can definitely see a difference in the smoothness and clarity of my skin.

It’s not dramatic or drastic, I don’t look like I have been peeling off layers of my face or anything but I’m definitely uncovering a firmness that had been missing. As far as the discoloration, my skin does look more even.

Once again, nothing dramatic, but enough that I have felt comfortable going without foundation or even BB cream most days. I love that the moisturizer comes in an unscented night version and a lightly scented broad-spectrum SPF 30.

I never go out without at least SPF 10 on my face, and to be able to use one product to moisturize and get such a high sun protection factor is amazing. I’m going to continue using the system and see how it pans out, but as of right now, I am sold.

I received the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift set complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my HONEST review. Face products are important to me! Typically, I will splurge on a good moisturizer at Sephora so I wouldn’t typically shop a drug store brand.

With that being said, this is so expensive for the brand! When I do buy SPFs it is a drug store brand at a lower price point that I preferred over this product. What I mainly take into consideration with my review is this contains SPF.

Living in Florida that is SO IMPORTANT! I admit though I’m bad about being consistent and I’ve never found an SPF moisturizer I love. So it didn’t surprise me that I didn’t love this one. It was okay.

My biggest complaint about SPF is usually the smell. This product has the sunscreen smell but it is not as strong as some others I have tried. It is actually quite mild which was pleasantly surprising.

This moisturizer was thick and creamy though which is not my preference! I like gel moisturizers that apply smoothly and dry quickly to wear under makeup. This doesn’t compare to a gel SPF. Regardless though it is overpriced.

Even if you are a huge L’Oréal fan, this product is nothing special especially for the price point. I saw no additional benefits from switching to this product for a month and my regular gel product feels so much better.

After receiving this complimentary from influenster, I was thrilled to try a new sunscreen product, because it’s such an important product in my routine. Obagi Vitamin C Suncare with SPF 30 was unlike any other sunscreen I own.

It feels more like a primer and has a definite slip to it, as it has dimethicone in the formulation. I don’t think this is a negative, but it’s just weird in my opinion because I haven’t used a product like this before which makes me wary.

Upon application, it’s smoothing to the skin and a little goes a long way, which is why I’m assuming the pump dispenses such little product per pump. Its active ingredients are chemical sunscreen ingredients so if you prefer mineral/physical, you might not like this.

Ascorbic acid is one of the inactive ingredients so it *may* contribute to brightening of the skin. If you’re looking for a sunscreen that can double as a primer to minimize the amount of products in your routine.

I think you’ve found a winner! I guess when it comes to sunscreen, I don’t know if I need it to do all kinds of things other than simply protect my skin from the sun.

I had never heard of OBAGI before so I had no clue what to expect when I received the OBAGI voxbox, especially when it included a product with sunscreen! I was actually very surprised by OBAGI’s Vitamin C Suncare with 10% L-Ascorbic Acid and SPF 30!! What’s the first thing you notice when applying sunscreen? The smell, right? I didn’t notice any smell with this product, so already 1 win right away.

What’s the next thing you notice? The greasiness, am I right? I’m not going to lie to you and say this dries down to a matte finish, BUT it’s texture is silky and glides across the skin much like a silicone based primer would.

I swear it even has some skin blurring properties to it. It takes a few minutes but it does dry down until it makes your skin feel hydrated and smooth, but it’s still going to leave a very slight greasy feeling.

I applied this before my makeup and I swear it made my makeup actually look better too. And finally, what’s the last downside to sunscreen? The white cast, ugh! Fortunately this is NOT the case with this product!!! Perfection! So why the 4 stars? For a premium price tag I expect premium packaging and the packaging for this just didn’t feel very high quality.

I also had a few pimples pop up afterwards. It might just be a coincidence since I’ve only tried it once so I’m definitely willing to give it another try. Overall, I was quite pleased with this product.

LOVE this product! I have always had a difficult time using sunscreens on my face. Most of the time, I would break out and would have to suffer a few days before my skin returned to normal. As a result, I would forego using sunscreen and just apply my foundation which has some sunscreen with no issues.

I finally decided to give the La Roche-Posay Anthelios AOX Daily Antioxidant Serum with Sunscreen SPF 50 a try. I applied this product over my skincare regimen and before my foundation. To my delight, the serum in the sunscreen gave my skin an extra glow with NO breakouts!!!!! Highly recommend this product.

I’ve been using this product for over ten years and it’s my absolute go-to. I’ve had dermatologists recommend other products over the years, and having an open mind, switched a few times to see if I could do better.

After many trials, I found an MD Solar Sciences product which came close, but did not surpass, this daily moisturizer. I started using this at 20, and now that I’m 30 I can say it has seen my skin through many changes: from oily, sun-damaged skin in my early 20s to hormonal acne in my late 20s to combination oily and dry skin in my early 30s.

It never clogs my pores, offers good protection( I reapply after 2 hours if I’m spending the day in the sun), and moisturizes my skin for the whole day. It’s light and absorbs nicely. I don’t use makeup but it does combine well with my daily serums and occasional acne treatments.

After using this for so long, thought I would leave some praise. Will keep buying as long as my skin keeps loving La Roche-Posay.

When the stellar review panel sent me this paraben free SPF 30 moisturizer I was thrilled. An all natural mamma I realized it’s been more than a decade since I treated myself to special beauty products not available in the body aisle of my organic grocer.

The bag it came in made me instantly feel pampered and the fragrance was light and lovely. It feels so much more sophisticated than the unscented spf 30 moisturizer I’ve worn previously. It’s a lightweight cream, lighter and more liquid than many I’ve worn in the past.

It’s so thin feeling on I would only consider this a supplement to sun exposure protection as in my climate I rely on a more physical barrier in zinc oxide which is not in the Vichy Liftactiv peptide c.

This uses a combination of Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, and Octocrylene. One of which I understand is a chemical UV absorber. I noticed some of the inactive ingredients were unfamiliar while the company statement talks about their ”naturally inspired and rigorously selected ingredients”.

Would I prefer this to be a cleaner ingredient list – yes but I am no expert on what is possible with the reverse aging benefits it’s positioned around. This cream does absorb quickly and yet leaves a dewy complexion.

This can be wonderful but layering similarly light and slightly translucent make up products on top can also be tricky. I found my makeup didn’t last as long and absorbed a few hours faster than normal likely because I’m used to a more matte base.

I’m 43 and even though I have worn spf 30 daily since my 20’s I have fine lines and a very slight discoloration spot near one eye. This cream indicates in 4-8 weeks I will see some anti aging benefits and I’m eager to continue testing.

My skin did need to initially adjust to this content verses my prior sunblock. That first week I had blocked pores which went away by day 4-5. The packaging also suggests the use of the Vichy serum before this moisturizer and I wonder if this amplifies the visible anti aging benefits because in my first three weeks, I don’t notice an improvement, at least yet.

So far – I like this lightweight moisturizing sunblock and I’m hoping with continued use I can see some added anti aging benefits. If I don’t see them, I’m not sure it’s worth it to not have more clean ingredients and its effect on my makeup.

When I first received the Vichy LiftActiv Peptide-C Sunscreen SPF 30 I had high expectations of the product’s performance based on how much I liked the packaging. The sunscreen comes in a tube with a nice little pump that is at the base of the bottle.

The pump is a nice addition to get a small amount at a time, which helps me not waste it! Because I’m breastfeeding, I greatly appreciate that this is paraben-free, dermatologist tested, and made with plant-based proteins and vitamin C, as I carefully monitor everything that goes on or in my body.

The product has a lovely, subtle fragrance which isn’t too overwhelming to be applied to the face. Many combination products I’ve tried from other manufacturers left a white residue from being too dense or left my skin greasy/oily, so I was slightly skeptical of how much I would like this product.

After using this for just a few days, I quickly noticed a positive difference in my skin texture! My skin is hydrated, softer, smoother and brighter with the added bonus of this product having sunscreen.

Having a combination sunscreen like this reduced the number of face products I use every morning. This is extremely important to me, as a 33 year old mom of a 14 month old, because I get little free time for me time! I also like that this is SPF 30, protecting me from UVA and UVB rays, which is what my dermatologist recommends I use daily to protect my skin because I am outside frequently in the California sun.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for about two weeks now. It has corrected some of my uneven skin tone spots too, but hasn’t had an effect on my wrinkles or crows feet yet. The product packaging states that it takes four to eight weeks to have this effect, so I’m hopeful that I’ll see improvement within the next month! Let me start off by saying this product acts as a sunscreen and primer. I think it should be made more aware that this can also double as a primer because for this price point, being described as sunscreen alone seems off putting in my opinion.

Once I tried this product out and felt the velvety texture on my skin and how smoothing it was, I thought that it would create a good base for makeup. It isn’t a great base for me because I like my primers to be a bit more mattifying but I think for a dryer complexion this might work well.

You can very much tell that this sunscreen well smells like sunscreen. It’s not a bad smell whatsoever but again for the price I expected a better smell perhaps. Overall, it’s a good product and it seems to promote protecting the skin from sun damage as well as a primer so that’s a plus for me.

My only downside and to be honest, dealbreaker, is the price, a little too expensive for me personally but I appreciate the formula’s dual purpose. Wouldn’t personally purchase this after trying this out.

Also it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin which is nice. Some sunscreens can be thick and you feel that layer of sunscreen on your face. I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my review.

This product is made for faces and best if worn over makeup. The expiration date of my produce is August 2017 and is a reasonable date considering the size, intended usage, and list of active ingredients.

I am attaching pictures to help demonstrate the bottle size, type if pump, and amount distributed from one pump. Most of my cosmetics have SPF but my current moisturizer does not. I see this being highly effective on the weekends when I’m out running errands without makeup and during a time period where I would not have to reapply the product.

This would also be great for an outdoor event (graduation, wedding, cafe lunch) where additional protection over makip is needed. This product stung for a minute the first time I applied it BUT I used a purifying mask the day before and had not used any additional product on my skin.

My recommendation: great product. Wear bareface over moisturizer or lightly pat over completed makeup. This is not a lotion with SPF. It is a sunscreen so the intent is not one of moisturization. It protects the skin from sun while offering anti-aging benefits offered from vitamin c.

I really liked the product but the packaging is HORRIBLE. About 60% of the product stays in the container. For this price they should put it in a tube or jar. I’ve had this with their lotion too which is in similar packaging.

At leash you can snap off the top on this product and still use it but it’s a complete waste.

Well, my journey into the land of SPF has been challenging. I started really getting into skincare last year; retinol, chemical exfoliation, moisturizer, etc. etc. and of course i learned all about needing SPF.

i just didn’t like it. and i thought i could get away with it. absolutely not. i developed some photodamage from using products like AHA’s and retinol and not using proper sunscreen. so i went out and bought a plethora of sunscreens.

spent a lot of money. and hated all of them. it was then that i learned the difference between chemical and physical sunscreens. i bought this and gave it a try. i love it. i put it on top of a serum, squalane and moisturizer and it absorbs well.

there is no mistaking that this does leave a very faint white cast on my face. especially at first. but it does absorb. no one can tell but me. this sunscreen is affordable. plays well with others. offers good protection.

and doesn’t contain dimethicone. so i’m on board. i’m happy to report that i have begun the process of fading my photo damage. and use this daily to protect against it coming back. there is no denying that my skin has improved since i started using this daily.

plus zinc oxide has benefits for the skin beyond sun protection. so it’s a win win. once i learned how good zinc oxide was for your skin i was committed. it acts as an astringent. zinc oxide can be drying though so use it on top of a good moisturizer.

it will take longer to absorb and for that ‘whiteness’ to fade away if you use it on top of moisturized skin. so glad i found this brand. and since i got two tubes of this stuff in one eBay order, i expect it to last me well into the summer.

I use sun blockers everyday no matter what the weather because it helps protect against sun damage to the skin and with using this product it isn’t greasy nor staining of the clothes. It seems to absorb into my skin fast upon applying and has a very pleasant scent which isn’t overpowering.

Never go out without sunscreen, and avoid chemical, which is why this sunscreen is awesome. Put some in your palm, rub your hands together to warm it up just a tad, then rub it into wherever your skin will be exposed to the sun.

I use this for my face, even though it says it’s for the body. Doesn’t matter. This is a better deal financially, and it’s the same formula.

I’m going to preface this by saying I’ve never written a review for a product before because I can never be bothered … but I need to let everyone thinking about buying this know how good it is! I went into Mecca one day wanting a moisturiser that was brightening – this caught my eye as it literally is called photo brightening moisturiser.

Upon first use I was already booked – the texture is a flight fluffy (almost whipped -like) texture that melts into the skin and isn’t greasy at all! It makes my skin so beautifully glowy and evens out my skin tone where I can just wear this moisturiser and no makeup! However when I am wearing makeup this is the perfect primer – even my friends have commented on how glowy and seamless my makeup looks and it’s all down to this moisturiser! Please if you are thinking of buying this do – it is expensive but so worth it as it will seriously deliver life changing results.

I pair it with my Mecca vitamin C serum and the combo is amazing :).

I cannot go wrong with this brand! This is my first time trying this moisturizer, after a solid week of use, she’s the one I happily reach for! It is definitely heavier than my summer moisturizers! I use this on days where I’m not excessively in the sun, but still actively in out of sunlight.

She has a strange color and a golden cast that’s hardly noticeable after a thorough application. My skin feels soft and moist without excessive oil or shine. I wish Dr. Perricone would just marry me already! 😏 5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Photos to show comparison to another I’m still testing.

I have the same issue as one of the other reviewers who posted that the product seemed different from before. I normally love this product, but the one I received a couple of weeks ago seemed changed.

I have been afraid to use it, thinking I received a faulty batch. The old one used to have a texture that was more like a thicker paste. The new jar I received had a goopy thinner consistency. I don’t think this thinner product would work in terms of sun protection.

I would be interested to hear if other buyers had the same experience!.

I love Murad products but this is one I think I’d pass on. This is an antioxidant rich moisturizer with Vitamin C and SPF 30 PA +++. This does have an overwhelming scent of suncreen which took a while to fade.

The formula is lightweight but made my normally dry skin look incredibly greasy for about an hour. It did absorb okay but anytime I touched my face it would feel greasy and there would be reside on my fingertips.

It did protect my face from getting burnt but that seems to be the only benefit for me. This runs about $65 for a 1. 7oz tube so you’ll probably go through it fairly quickly if you do wear sunscreen every day.

Not worth it in my opinion, there are better options out there for half the price and you get more product.

This is a great moisturizer and suncreen combination. Then Murad went and added vitamin C! We already know that SPF keeps our skin tone even, bright and break-out free. Did you know that Vitamin C and Sunscreen are GREAT for acne prone skin.

The fragrance is not strong but a subtle natural orange smell. Also, this sunscreen doesn’t cause too much cast for those with darker skin tones. Just begin by applying sparingly and it will all absorb pretty quickly.

I got a deluxe travel size of this sunscreen in a Murad Vitamin C set I purchased, I paid for this with my own money. My favorite SPF50 of all time is the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50, and my favorite SPF primer of all time is the Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield SPF30.

Basically when I’m mostly indoors and wearing foundation, I’ll always use the Murad Invisiblur SPF30 as a sunscreen primer underneath; and if I’m not using foundation or I’ll be outdoors and will need a higher SPF I use the Dermalogica.

That being said, as a fellow beauty lover I’m always on the lookout for my next new-new 😉 What disappointed me the most about this Murad vitamin C sunscreen is that it’s very greasy and just sits on your face, it doesn’t sink into the skin at all.

I tried all kinds of tricks for getting it to sink in but it just keeps sloshing around my face. The formula of the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery is just miles ahead of this product, for not a huge price difference and better sun protection.

Otherwise I love the citrus fragrance. That’s about it. I feel bad because Murad is one of my favorite skincare brands and lots of other people seem to love this sunscreen but it’s a No for me; I won’t be repurchasing a full-size tube.

I will be sticking with my tried and true sunscreens, including the Murad Invisiblur – if you like to wear a blurring primer you really should try it out, it’s amazing! It’s a primer, sunscreen and skincare all in one.

I literally have 3 backup bottles at home at all times; I’m afraid they’ll stop making it one day haha :).

I received Murad Vita-C exfoliating facial and Murad essential-C day moisture broad spectrum SPF 30 and have absolutely loved it! First I love how the exfoliate feels on my face and that it changes colors when it’s spread over your face! The scent is light and pleasant.

I usually leave it on for at least five minuets. I’ve had other exfoliates that are kinda tough to wash off and tend to be pretty overwhelming with their scent but this one isn’t bad at all. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and bright which is what I look for.

Washing it with warm water isn’t a chore it comes off nicely and doesn’t feel like sand paper! I love the exfoliating experience but I’m not a fan of the ones that are really sandpaper like my skin doesn’t really need it.

I will say paired with the moisturizer it makes for a pretty fantastic duo. I love any product with an spf and this one is no different! When I was younger I didn’t think about it as much and my skin never burs so I never thought I needed it.

This is so not true and as I’ve aged I’ve learned the importance of spf and taking care of you skin early on. I strongly suggest no matter your sling type you find great products like this one with an spf.

I’m going on 34 ugh! And I wish I’d have started treating my skin better sooner rather then later. I have pretty normal skin I get some dry areas occasionally and some oily spots on rare occasions depending on my moody skin.

Usually different times in the month and weather play a factor in that as well. I’ve had great luck with both these products and have already stopped to purchase them so I have a back up when they run out! I did have a bit of a breakout in some spots when I first changed over.

That however happens to me with any facial product change so I definitely don’t hold it against any product as long as it doesn’t persist. It subsided very quickly as I refrained from messing with the evil little bumps and allowed the products to work their magic.

I highly suggest giving.

For some reason I had forgotten about my beloved Rodial products for a while. During this lockdown, and one too many treats my skin was misbehaving quiet a bit so I decided to go back to Rodials Vitamin C range.

This combination of moisturiser and SPF works really well for me, it absorbs quickly and sinks into the skin beautifully without leaving any white cast. It works wonderful under make up and I really love the scent.

I just find it really easy to use, skipping one step in my routine during this time is a blessing. Just one step and moisturiser and SPF done. Really simple to use. Lovely!.

Exceeded my expectations! I use an every other day regimen of coconut oil, hyaluronic acid, retinol & a vitamin C serum. The one thing missing was a GOOD vitamin C SPF moisturizer. This one is awesome! And works great during the day.

I only use retinol at night (as recommended), and needed a great SPF during the day. After searching the internet, and reading a host of reviews, I decided on this one. The hard part was finding a price I could afford.

This product is pricey. I was so happy to find it for a decent price here on ebay. I will be purchasing it again in the future!.

I like this a lot for winter because it’s moisturising and brightens my skin. It is too rich for my skin when weather is warm but maybe drier skin types would love this in summer. It doesn’t peel when I layer it with other skincare.

I like the added spf but I still use an spf over the top.
