20 Best Vitamin C Toner (2022 Updated)

This is my 2nd time purchasing this, I love the way it gives me a noticeable glow. But I noticed this 2nd time it has an unpleasant smell compared to the first time I purchased it. The first time it had a light citrus scent this time it has a stronger not so pleasant scent.

I checked the date on the bottom to see if maybe it was expired and thats why it smelled that way but nope. Maybe a new formula they used? As much as I love the way it makes my face look and feel if it continues to have the same smell I probably won’t be purchasing again.

I don’t get acne. I have never had acne in my life. I will get the occasional pimple now and then. This stuff made my skin break out pretty bad. I must have had 20 red pimple bumps on one side of my face.

I had to stop using it. I will likely just give it to someone else. Shame because it was $13.

I am a Nurse and an Esthetician and I have always been a skincare junkie. I have tried nearly every brand under the sun and this is the absolute best toner I have ever used. If you have oily/mature skin like I do, you’ll love this! <3.

This was my second bottle of this toner I bought off of Amazon. I thought I liked this toner enough so I bought a second, after using this bottle up I have some thoughts. 1. The spray is HORRIBLE, it spits and is not consistent.

2. I don’t feel this can do anything for your skin when just sprayed on the face, this product needs to either soak your face or use a cotton pad. 3. No difference in my skin using two bottles consistently, so not worth it in my opinion.

There are a ton of better toners on the market and I feel I wasted my money and time giving this product a second chance.

This pore serum is PERFECT!!! My pores have been visibly smaller since using, and the texture of my face has been so smooth and clear! Not to mention, my face has been more hydrated and looks a lot healthier! Sephora skincare is next level and with prices like the ordinary it’s a no brainer! I have large pores around my nose and am always trying to reduce them.

I noticed a difference in a week with continued use. I am so in love with this serum! I always struggled with big pores and no matter what I do nothing works. I’ve used this serum twice a day for a week and my pores minimized and my overall skin tone also looks more even.

I was given the opportunity to be gifted the Ultra Glow Toner by Sephora in exchange for my honest review of the product. For starters, I really loved that this product was not only affordable but vegan and clean.

Nowadays, it is hard to find a great quality product at an affordable price. As someone who has sensitive skin, this was perfect for my skin. After using the toner, I noticed how much brighter my skin looked.

It is also unscented and provides a clean and fresh smell. I would recommend giving it a try for about a week or so to see how it works for your skin!.

This worked great on my skin. I have dry skin with the occasional hormonal breakout. I have recently been dealing with dry patches and my skin has been looking dull and thirsty. I bought this on a whim and will be continuing to buy this from now on.

Don’t waste money on $50 skincare when a lot of the ingredients are based solely on marketing and offer no true benefit. There’s a few Sephora collection items which have performed beautifully and this is one of them.

I have radiant looking skin now.

I had been meaning to try this product for the longest time, ’cause it’s very limited the places I can get Korean skincare right now, and prayed that SG would one day add it to their curated products.

I LOVED IT! Perfect gel consistency, not too thick and not too watery. Nice citrusy scent. Really enjoyed using this during the summer on those Caribbean hot and humid days to cool down the skin after doing yard work or after spending the day running errands.

I especially used it as a sleeping mask and my skin would look brighter and less oily in the morning. Looking forward to getting another one!.

Be careful – a little goes a long way. Has a serum-y texture which is great for oily, acne-prone, or combo skin types. Not sure yet when it comes to effectiveness but wanted to point out how little you need considering it has the same texture as some serums and – generally speaking – aloe vera gel, so it is really lightweight.

Which might also make it good for sensitive skin depending on the needs, as some people with sensitive skin want to incorporate Vitamin C into their routine, but also need to stick to lighter layers, or fewer layers of products.

I feel with this you might be able to go with a cica or other watery calming serum under such a light gel with fewer problems.

Can be used AM and PM after cleansing, I prefer to use it PM and follow immediately with a moisturizer. It stings at first few seconds but that tells me it’s actually working, after the use it gives the skin a soft and glowy look, without the harsh and dry effect of peels.

I also love the smell, it has this nice floral scent while other products have really strong chemical smell. I can see that my skin is cleaner and soft after the use, it also looks smoother. Although it’s more expensive than other glycolic acid I can feel it’s a better quality and worth the money.

I received a bottle of for reviewing purposes and wow, what a wonderful product this is! Petra Strand is a lady who, through her work as a Make Up Artist, has more than 20 years of experience in the beauty world, but, as a mother of 4, often did not have much time to fully focus on her skincare rituals, and thus, in 1999, in Soho, a trendy and hip area of ​​London, Pixi Beauty was born, a brand that is all about youth-enhancing and multifunctional products that make you look like yourself, only better! The tonic arrives in a clear plastic bottle with Pixi Beauty’s signature bright green accents, such as the cap and label, and gold text.

The liquid itself has a rich, orange-brown color, but once you sprinkle it on a cotton pad, you actually see little of the color. The application is easy and smooth, thanks to the small opening at the top of the bottle, to ensure you wont use too much.

My red spots also seem to be less present. After a full day at work, my face still feels smooth and soft and that beautiful, radiant glow is still there. I definitely am a fan because I really think this is a top product and I definitely recommend the Pixi Glow Tonic, even to people who, just like me, are sensitive to irritations, red spots and Rosacea and / or have sensitive skin!.

This toner is used on bare make up free skin as like a refresher I guess. It smells lovely and does make me feel fresher & brighter. I have some pigmentation from hormones/sun & I do feel they have become lighter from using this.

I did not get the usual smell of a citrus lemony kind and these three products were a kin to some sort of battery hen smell and after the spray was used my breath started to fluctuate a little on to the bad breath.

I do not know why that was maybe because the ingredients used were therefore perhaps not matched by one who is selling less-well-known smaller rivals from the chemical shelf and not up to standard of Typology version’s.

I really like this toner. I had acne spots, I don’t have them anymore since I use it. My skin texture is visibly refined, my pores are tightened and my skin is more radiant! The smell is neutral and disappears very quickly once it dries!.

Wow these were not the right fit for me. Currently having the worst breakout of my life all over my face after using these, and my skin barrier feels compromised. Started having this massive breakout after just using one pad, and was skeptical at first that this was what caused it.

Didn’t use any other new products on my face, though. Waited until the next week and tried another pad, had same reaction, lots of red bumps. Also it made my neck skin bumpy and red and irritated after swiping the second pad down my neck.

I do have somewhat sensitive skin, but I have been able to use other face products with ingredients that can sometimes bother others with sensitive skin and I haven’t had any issues from those, besides temporary dryness at most (for example: salicylic acid, tea tree oil).

So idk what it is but something about these vitamin C pads just really did not agree with my skin. Be cautious and patch test first if you’re sensitive to new products.

Pixi Glow Peel Pads are 20% Glycolic Acid Rose Water Exfoliating Pads are what I ordered from Amazon after I ran out of the Pixi Glow Tonic 5% Glycolic Acid. I love these pads! They brighten the skin, make it healthier, more radiant in time.

It minimizes pores, breakouts, and fine lines. It also evens out the complexion and nourishes with Vitamin E and Aloe. Good ingredients! It has improved my skin so much! I wouldn’t change anything about these Pads! I highly recommend!.

I use one cotton round after washing my face and then follow it with toner and moisturizer. Even after the first use I felt a noticeable difference when feeling my skin. I would definitely recommend this to someone so long as they don’t have super sensitive skin.

Doesn’t really have a scent either which is nice because I’m picky about that stuff.

The hydrating mist toner is a must have for me! The smell is delightful and it’s super light and refreshing on the skin, unlike many harsh toners I’ve used in the past. I love that the ingredients are all natural too – you can really feel the difference on your skin.

I’ve got my mum onto it as well, and even my husband likes a little spritz of it. The only negative for me is the price is quite high, however the glass bottle is quite nice and the spray mechanism works well.

Absolutely addicted to this amazing toner! None of this is hype, just purely an amazing product. Like the title says it is amazing for any time of the year, it maintains moisture and calms skin in winter after being battered by cold winds and dry heaters, and in summer provides moisture after cleansing while remaining light enough to avoid greasy break outs! Holy grail product!.

Product itself is amazing. Lovely and refreshing. The first bottle I bought from Chemist Warehouse had a dodgy nozzle so was horrible to use and didn’t mist. My second purchase is a lot better and mists as it is supposed to.

But possibly hit and miss. Other products I’ve purchased have also had broken lids, nozzles.

This tonic came in a set that I purchased on ASOS. I never knew about this brand before but frankly speaking – I am not impressed. It is an exfoliating toner with lactic acid and vitamin c. I was so excited after reading the ingredient highlights when I opened the bottle it smelled very fruity.

I thought I would love this product but as soon as I started applying it, it started to smell very very bad. I can’t explain the smell but it’s just so terrible that I had to wash the whole thing off and I could still feel it.

Ugh.

This tonic is wonderful after using the Vitamin C Fix Cleanser. You don’t need a lot, there are a range of Vitamin C products. They all go well together or mixed with other products. It really cleanses the skin deep down into the pores and leaves your face feeling really fresh and cleansed xx.

This is the Pixi by Petra Vitamin C tonic with ferulic acid brightening toner and the biggest problem with this is the clear bottle. I learned that vitamin C (ascorbic acid) breaks down easily when exposed to daylight unless the bottle is UV coated, which this is not.

You are not getting the maximum benefit from this. You are suppose to store in a “dark” place. This does have some nice antioxidants like green tea, ferulic acid, and carrot. The pH is too high to trigger new collagen (despite brand claims).

Several fragrances in this one, including citrus extracts and peppermint. This is advertised as working as an exfoliating product. The willow bark and fruit extracts are not ideal exfoliating ingredients.

It definitely overturns dead skin cells. I have dry skin and find that daily use dries my skin out too much. Two to three times a week at night followed by an intensely moisturizing serum and moisturizer works best.

I could see this being appropriate for daily use for someone with oily skin. It does leave my skin looking smoother after I’ve figured out the appropriate frequency. It’s smoothed out some bumps around my nose, however daily use addressed the issues by making these rough spots peel.

I drip it into my hands and apply directly to my face. A cotton or reusable round would be appropriate for someone who can handle some mild physical exfoliation in addition to chemical. Daily sunscreen is a must while using Glow Tonic.

This is a great toner! I use it every single morning – after cleansing – but more like a serum. My skin is notably brighter over the last 4-5 weeks! I even notice a subtle difference in texture as well.

I love it enough to use it twice daily but I read on the blog that often Vit. C and EGF will cause irritation. I use the EGF nightly. If anyone knows otherwise, let me know as I almost feel like I would like to bathe in this stuff!!!.

I really really like this product. I have sensitive skin so any aggressive exfoliators or toners irritate it. I’ve used this product for a week now and my skin is much smoother. It’s a thicker liquid toner which makes it easy to apply and you don’t feel like all the product runs through your fingers or soaks the cotton ball.

Most importantly no burning or tingling like other Vitamin C products I have tried.

I switched over from the 20% Vitamin C serum to this product given their recent newsletter in regards to its interaction with EGF. The Vitamin C used in this toner is less irritating and has less interactions with EGF than normal ascorbic acid.

I actually prefer this toner more — It is much more fluid, smells refreshing, and less irritating than the Vitamin C serum itself, yet for some reason I have noticed better results (more even tone, less breakouts, etc).

I adore this toner. It smells like fresh squeezed oranges and feels so refreshing and hydrating on my skin. The scent is a teeny bit strong for me, so I like to pour it into another bottle with a spray lid and add a little bit of plain witch hazel to cut it just a tad.

It comes out perfect and can be sprayed directly on instead of having to waste a cotton pad. This toner makes my skin look bright and awake. I’m worried this is being discontinued because it’s not listed on the Avalon website anymore and the price is all jacked up on Amazon, and it has been sold out everywhere else for a while now.

I will be absolutely heartbroken if they stopped making this toner!!.

Bought this to help reduce pores. I’ve used other toners, but liked the fact that this also has Vitamin C among other nutrients for the skin. Have used for a few days and have seen a bit of a difference with the pores on my nose.

It seemed a bit drying at first, but could have been the cleanser I was using. Definately picks up whatever your cleanser may leave behind. I use micellar water to remove makeup and then a moisturizing cleanser.

and even after that, this Toner picked up even more dirt! Has a slight orange scent, which I can tolerate; I’m very sensitive to smells. Unsure if I will buy again.

I have only been using this for two weeks, but definite pro is the smell! This smells so good, just like an orange and I just love inhaling the citrusy scent. I have learned that when you place it on a cotton pad, do not add too much because when you wipe it over your skin, it becomes very soapy like, so a little goes along way.

I bought the complete line of this product, so I will review each one. I am 36 years old with aging concerns, fair complexion. It removes whatever the cleanser did not ,but it leaves your face sticky.

Everything in this product line leaves you feeling a little sticky. Granted I live in NJ and it is the end of the Summer, so perhaps its from the humidity outside, not sure, will update when it cools down out.

So far its an okay product.

Again, I love this toner! I use the vitamin c with witch hazel in my morning regime to help brighten my skin for the day. It leaves my face smelling delicious as well as hydrated and glowing. I also get a tingling sensation with application so I know the witch hazel is doing it’s thing! This is definitely a toner line to invest in!.

I have oily and very sensitive skin. This product has helped me so much than most of the products I used because they were not gentle on my sensitive skin. Ive been using it for 2 years now. So far, this is the best toner I have ever used.

I am in my 70’s and I love this toner so much. I spray it on each morning after washing my face. Then I apply my moisturizer and mineral powder make-up. So perfect for my skin. Im so glad that my daughter brought me this.

I have used Vitamin C products for years, but never a toner that includes it. I love the way my face feels after this toner and my skin is more even since using it along with UV Repair Cream and Vitamin A Cream.

I love organic harvest products because they are all natural and cruelty free. I have tried almost all its products and this toner has also met my expectations. I keep the bottle in refrigerator and apply it which makes it even more refreshing.
