20 Best Vitamin For Pcos (2022 Updated)

I first came across Tam in June 2019 and have been following her advice for a long time. I never knew that birth control was such a big reason for my hormones going crazy. It’s seems so obvious that it was a band aid solution in retrospect.

Tam gave me the confidence to come off the pill and I took these as part of it. Everything worked together holistically and these vitamins were a helpful part of it.

I have been taking these since late November and have seen a few good signs of change. My period has gone back to 25 day cycles and my period pain is much less. Hoping that my hair starts improving as well.

I’m 35yoF, PCOS diagnosis since age 12. Insulin resistance (A1c in diabetic range several years ago, normal for the past 5y) and occasional problems with hypoglycemia. Have experienced hirsutism (badly during teenage years), obesity, acne that no topicals manage well.

I have used horomonal birth control for 20+ years to treat hormone imbalance symptoms with PCOS. Also on metformin 2000mg/day for insulin resistance. I’m working on weight control as I can definitely attest to all my PCOS symptoms- and my overall health- being much worse with extra weight on.

I recently read about inositol and the value for women with PCOS and decided to add it in. At 1 month inositol use- the drug did force a fairly uncomfortable breakthrough period overriding my birth control cycle.

If that keeps happening I’ll probably discontinue use, but I’ll give it 3 months to see what shakes out. I do think I see consistently clearer skin already, less breakouts. Unsure about how it’s helping with weight management- I lift 4x/week and get 6k-8k steps a day as well as eating at a significant calorie deficit— I am seeing fat loss.

Hard to tell whether the drug is helping with fat loss- but it certainly isn’t hindering. I do have facial hair that grows fast due to PCOS ((it used to be dark and thick and just a nightmare in my teens, it took 3-4 years of horomonal birth control to become manageable)) but it’s fine and blonde now, I don’t think I’ve seen changes in that yet- I hope for even finer hair and slower growth with continued use.

No notable changes in mood for me, but I’m in a pretty healthy place with mood and anxiety at baseline. Not trying for pregnancy, nothing to add to that conversation. Hope this is helpful to others— so glad PCOS treatments are making progress in the last few years.

If you’re in the thick of it with all the symptoms of excess androgens, find a provider who will work with your hormonal issues, find meds to balance you out, and give it TIME to work: it does get better.

I never had issues with my period since the age of 12. One year after I gained a tremendous amount of weight , my period just became irregular. I later became diagnosed with pcos. After suffering from Pcos for 4 years and back and fourth on birth control to give me a period.

Going to my Obgyn and them trying to prescribe medications that didn’t make sense and telling me change my diet or use birth control or sometimes they don’t even have a solution. I already have a child so the doctors would say I’m not a bad case of pcos bc I have a child already (which was before I was diagnosed so that didn’t make sense ) then I was once on birth control and I ran out of my pill and got pregnant surprisingly but I wasn’t ready so I later regretted not having that baby.

But then later once I began to try for a baby it was an epic failure. So I visited endocrinologist specialist and she advised I take these supplements for 3 months to see the results. I had already purchased them from my internet research but when she told me to purchase them i had more faith in the supplement.

So I began take these supplements for a month faithfully. And BOOM my period came naturally after 6 months of no period. I think I have found a solution to this Misery !! I will continue to take this supplement and see the results for the next months.

Hopefully it will stays this way. I will make another review after a few months 🙂 I don’t wanna get to hype.

I wish it worked. For 50 days I’ve been taking this along with a combo of wholesome story Zinc & Berberine. I really wanted this cocktail to produce a period since I haven’t had one since June 2021. Unfortunately, I still don’t have one.

At 17 still without a period, I underwent blood work, ultrasounds on my lady parts, and progesterone challenge which did cause a period.

I took this until about 22. At times not having a period while on it. Mind you no doctor would diagnose me with PCOS even though my mom has it. At 24, I had a period 3x a year maybe due to regular yoga? Who knows. Age 26 another endocrinologist could only tell me little is understood about hormones. Age 29 likely have PCOS according to OBGYN.

I took birth control until June 2021. The most interesting thing I heard in February was an acupuncturist telling me it’s a blood deficiency. It has been a long journey with few answers. I gave it 2 stars because maybe I’m getting some benefit?.

I swear by the mood stabilizing effects of Inositol. I get better results with Inositol then I ever have with any prescription drug. AND Inositol also works as a fat metabolizer which helps to lower my BMI.

This product has a lot of benefits. You might not notice the difference right away, but the science behind is quite impressive. An especially good thing is that it normalizes hormones and helps peripheral nerves.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this product and I’m not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt calmer, not as emotional as I have a tendency to become and that in itself is amazing. I highly recommend this product.

Pure does have the most potent Inositiol available to address anxiety clusters but will often use L-Theanine & Nacetyl-l-cystiene to adjunct for it. Has a nice measuring spoon as well. Another nice additive.

I take this supplement before bed. It helps me relax and fall asleep quickly. I’ve tried other brands but the quality of this one is far superior to others. It’s worth the bit more you pay.

My son has been taking 18k a day for OCD and PANS. It has really calmed him. It is the only supplement he asks me if he can take it. Very grateful I found research on high doses of Inositol and OCD.

Unfortunately, this product has been over hyped, inflating the entire 40:1 market. prices. This product is over priced, and under dosing a lot of people. This is for 2g morning and night (4g total), and most studies suggest that people treating insulin resistance or PCOS requires 8-12g daily (split 4/4 or 4/4/4) to see therapeutic effect.

Which again, makes it that much more expensive. As well, the newer science is showing that myo-inositol on it’s own is more effective. AND D-chiro inositol is currently being studied as an aromatase inhibitor, which means it can raise androgens.

the exact opposite of what the key demographic, someone with PCOS is trying to do. There are studies currently running to see if it can be used to treat low T in men. So even at slightly too much, it could be actually making us worse.

Time to move on or reformulate with better pricing. Check out NFH, AOR or Cyto-matrix instead. , which means it raises androgens, and looking at using it treating low T in men. The supplement world is no well regulated as we know, and even just slightly off ratios can be screwing you over.

I was very skeptical about this powder as I had already tried every vitamin and natural food, seeds and herbs to naturally bring back my periods. Long story short, I took this for 3 months with 8 or 9 scoops left in the canister, I finally got my period on my own after 8 years.

These are so amazing. I’ve struggled with immense cramping pains that would leave me sobbing and incapacitated, at one point I fainted from how bad the pain was. I had really bad acne ever since I’ve gone through puberty.

I was hoping my skin would get better once I wasn’t a teenager. But here I was at 20 years old with really horrible acne. I always knew I was gonna start my period because the day before would always leave me sobbing uncontrollably or getting really upset.

Never thought a dietary supplement can have this much of an effect. I have been taking 360mg per day every day at 9 am with my first meal (3 hard boiled eggs with butter). The energy boost and mental acuity is wild.

Strength improved mildly 1-3% on most lifts. Haven’t noticed any contractile tissue gain yet but i look leaner and dryer (possibly because of lower estrogen hence less water retention) Sex drive has blown up, not that it was bad before – i’m a young healthy guy (23) but it became really pronounced in a good way.

Feels like I can use all this energy in other avenues not just sex. In general I feel snappier and way more switched on. I have gotten a similar level of mental clarity as when i’ve done extremely aggressive keto/carnivore but now on a high carb diet.

I’ve been sleeping 8 hours 30 to 9 hours per night my entire life, this stuff has cut that to 7 hours and i can’t seem to sleep past that and i feel more energised then on the 9 hours?? my T levels 3 months ago tested at 436 ng/dl.

I purchased this specifically because of the research I read about cycle regularity. I’m nowhere near planning or thinking about conceiving, but I’m recently hormone free and my body is having a difficult time adjusting.

Not sure if it’s a coincidence but after taking this for a few weeks I immediately got my period for the first time ever within a normal cycle time and it’s a normal flow. Whaaaa?! no side effects so far.

I love this product! I always ovulated on the earlier side (~day 11) and already after a month of taking it, it is prolonging my ovulation closer to Day 14. I will absolutely keep taking this!
