Ever since we picked up our now 16-year-old Morgan mare lesson horse four years ago, she always had some sort of immune-related issue whether it was a hypersensitivity to bugs resulting in hives, “goopy” eyes from allergies, fungal infections, you name it, she has had them.

After working with the vet and quite a bit of trial and error of different medications, we found a remedy that worked for her overall and could keep her comfortable but I was hoping for something a little bit more to support her, especially because she has a heavy lesson workload and also is our reliable beginner show horse, so she is working hard and traveling quite a bit which can be taxing on their immune system.

My vet suggested an immune supplement for her year-round. After reviewing a few options, we decided on SmartImmune as my vet really liked the idea of the additional digestive support this supplement offers for this particular mare in addition to the other comprehensive immune-supporting ingredients.

I really like this vitamin. I have been taking them regularly for 3 weeks. I was given this and the wild Alaskan salmon from the vthrive line to try for free. I feel like the combination of the two has helped me quite a bit.

So I didn’t really know much about Turmeric before I got these and so I thought I’d take advantage of my lack of knowledge about the supplement and basically blindly take them and see if I notice any changes in my health, body, behavior, mood, etc.

I was happy to see this product online for less than what I pay for it at Costco. Both products are made by Youtheory, but this one online was different though. Instead of a capsule pill form that I get from Costco, this pill from Amazon is a hard pill like a multivitamin.
