20 Best Vitamins For Athletes (2022 Updated)

I’m very happy with Vitadapt, I’m 55 years old. I weight train a minimum of 4 days a week. This multi vitamin is a very complete mix of all the supplements supporting good health, body and strength. Best thing is it doesn’t unset my stomach as many other multi vitamins have.

I use a combination of five Nutrex products and I would happily recommend each one to anyone serious about getting in shape.

One area that is important to me is feeding my body the proper nutrients daily. While I may have a quality diet, it is still possible I may be missing something important. I already trust Nutrex as a company that produces quality supplements, so when Vitadapt became avialable I wanted to begin using it as one of my key supplements.

Vitadapat in my opinion is put through the test after I have put myself through the test. I look forward to taking it daily due to the benefits. Overall Vitadapt has key ingredients that feed my physical body, mental, and emotional.

Specificaly, I like the Adaptogen blend. One of the benefits of Adaptogen is recovering from physical stress and mental.

I’ve taken a bunch of different multivitamins over the years, but never stuck with them (as they never seemed to really make me feel better/different). It could be the ‘combo’ of things, but having used this product for about 2 months now, I just feel more balanced overall.

They’re big pills (3 per serving, once per day) but they seem to really keep your levels balanced, feeling healthy, and I seem to recover even faster after each workout.

Multi Sport Men’s Formula is NutraBio’s multivitamin that continues its tradition of transparency and quality. The formula delivers a complete panel of vitamins and minerals at reasonable doses. I really like the use of the full lineup of B vitamins and the modest doses of vitamin D, iron, and zinc.

I think the formula is a little aggressive with its dosing of fat soluble vitamins like vitamin A, E, and K. Most individuals with a well-rounded diet are getting enough of those vitamins, and there really isn’t any research to suggest that their use will contribute to overall health or athletic performance in any significant way unless there are deficiencies.

Additionally, I think the selenium, vanadium, and chromium could have been foregone in the formula. However, I really like the inclusion of ALA, NAC, citrus bioflavonoids, and inositiol in the formula; these bonus ingredients are nicely dosed too.

I do appreciate that NutraBio suggests breaking the full 4 capsule dose into two 2 capsule servings, one in the morning and one at night. I put this product at a 9 out of 10!.

Multi Sport Men’s Formula was created with male athletes in mind. The formula contains 33 vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients. From a full spectrum of B vitamins to powerful antioxidant formulation.

The lineup of ingredients is extensive, but I think NutraBio does a great job of giving us effective and large doses on many key ingredients in a multi-vitamin. The dosage for Multi-Sport is 4 veggie capsules that can be broken into two (2 caps in the morning, 2 at night).

Personally, I’m not a fan of more than 2 capsules of any kind, especially for a multi-vitamin but that’s such a miniscule thing. In the future, I would like to see the possibility of gel caps to hide the taste that comes with all multi-vitamins.

All in all, this product did what it was intended to do and that’s assist the health of the male athlete by covering micronutrients, the not so sexy counterpart to macronutrients. Solid product.

For the serious athletes (i. e. long distance runners, ironman triathletes, fighters, etc. ), this is probably the best multi-vitamin you are going to get for the price. The only other products that are better carry a 3 figure price tag.

I don’t feel any increase in energy but for the serious athletes who knows proper fuel intake, it’s more than just vitamins that give you energy. You need to eat right and most importantly, know when to rest (i.

e. proper sleep schedule). I find that this multi-vitamin seems to work best for avoiding colds. Every other vitamin I took, a cold eventually found it’s way to me.

I understand the product is clean derived from whole foods but I didnt feel any difference. I have tried many brands of multivitamins. You won’t even get half as much from this product as you do with the animal pak.

I wish the animal pack was derived from whole foods haha.

Once I discovered Primal Harvest and used their products I was convinced of their value. I order when I can afford to. I’m a USAF Storm and Shield Vet 87 to 91. I’ve worked all my life. I’ve broke my back pretty bad year’s ago but continued to work.

I just can’t do it anymore. I’m 55 and facing a 2nd major back surgery, complete knee replacement on my left knee, glaucoma surgery on both eyes and now three spots of skin cancer have to be removed.

Between Covid and my declining health I haven’t worked in a year. I love all of the Primal Harvest products and I vouche for their quality. I just have to live within my means. I just can’t afford them.

The multivitamin is of high quality and believe me, we did our research before ordering. We are very pleased with this aspect of it. The packaging on the other hand leaves something to be desired. In 3 bottles I opened in a row there was a broken vitamin capsule with the powder contents scattered all over the inside of the bottle.

I bought the 6-pack of multivitamins, each containing 30 capsules, with the price per vitamin being just over $0. 73. This price per unit is too high to have wasted product. The bottle is oversized for the quantity it contains, and the piece of cotton inside is grossly undersized to protect the capsules from damage during shipping.

I would strongly suggest increasing the quantity of capsules in the bottle to cut down on packaging waste and damage during shipping. I also order the Primal Defense which has the same size bottle containing 60 capsules, and I have had no issues with broken capsules and am very pleased with that product.

I clearly have no problem paying a premium for a great product, however wasted product that takes money out of my pocket causes me to take pause before my next order.

I’ve been taking Athletic greens daily for just at a year now and the only days I haven’t taken it is if I’m doing a longevity fast (Prolon – for cellular autophagy) and can’t take anything else. I specifically added in Athletic greens at a time in my life where I made no other significant changes for 3 months to see the results of this product alone (prior to any other changes) – then only after that 3-months started to add other things in because science.

🙂 I’ve seen major changes in my body and my health which is fantastic. I also take the vitamin D and fish oil by Athletic greens and love that they are NSF certified and give very clear instructions and details about what’s inside the product, which helps me feel confident about I’m taking.

I take the travel packs when I’m going away or traveling and they are fantastic – easy to carry which helps me maintain my routine. For those curious about the taste – I think it’s what you would expect greens to taste like – in my opinion, they are decent and acceptable.

They mix easily in cold water, and I love the hint of pineapple taste that gives it a little sweetness. Clearly, I can take it daily so I’m not complaining and always look forward to AG being a part of my morning routine.

It’s been tough waiting 30-min to drink coffee, however, I believe in the long-run my health and wellness is worth it, so I’m willing to do it. Similarly, I put this product into my budget like I do anything else – and again, for my health and wellness, it’s worth it.

I’ve tried other greens powders before, and I didn’t see a difference – this one is top notch. I have a sensitive stomach and it’s gone down easy. I look forward to receiving my shipment each month and really love the feeling I get after drinking my greens each morning.

I have been taking Ag1 for only 4 weeks now. Now for me I can’t yet have the full portion (1 full scoop), only half of it. I have noticed that my gut is not yet quite used to it fully, therefore reducing it to half of scoop/day I tolerate it better than 1 full scoop/day.

I am pretty sure in a matter of another few weeks I will be able to get to 1 full scoop, as it takes some time for my gut to “get used to it” so to speak. I get quite bloated from 1 full scoop. I do mention that I have gut issues & I m currently working on them through targeted diet & probiotics, so I fully expected not to be able to tolerate 100% Ag1.

These being said, it really depends on each person how well is AG1 tolerated & for sure individuals who do not have gut imbalances, it’s well tolerated. In spite of these, I do think AG1 is a very good product.

Since I’m only 4 weeks in only with half of the daily amount, it’s way too soon for me to notice some effects. But the reason I decided to try AG1 is due to a few health issues (including recovery after Covid-19 – lots of coughing – and the flu; both happened in a very short timespan to me).

It may be a correlation, but normally I cough up to 8 weeks after the flu/covid-19. I’m on my 4th week of AG1 & 5 weeks since my last flu and I did notice that the cough has subsided dramatically (almost all by now).

I will definitely get back with another review after I will have been using the product for 3 months, as its effects are cumulative. What I love the most is the rich list of ingredients it has & that they the provider has a very thorough process for making & testing AG1.

Also I found out about this product from Huberman Lab & Tim Ferris. Since the quality of information both of them provide through their podcasts is very high, it did make me trust even more the product, since it’s being used & recommended by them.

My only thing with this product is the high price. I do make a financial effort to order it, and for the moment I can afford it. I don’t know if it’s possible, but it would be very nice is the AG1 provider would find a way to make it a bit cheaper (maybe between 20-30 EUR cheaper).

It’s such a good product with quality ingredients which contains so many nutrients, that it’s a pity it’s not accessible to a larger public due to its high price. I also think that there are users who give it a go the 1st month, then they drop it & discontinue its use simply du to the price.

With a high price you also narrow a bit your customer base. Other than this, it’s quite a super supplement & personally I do not know of other supplement brands to have a quality product like AG1. There are lots of on the supplement market, but I might as well be taking grain flour in the pills, since a lot of them are not tested by certified parties with authority on the market.

I was turned on to Athletic Greens after multiple fitness podcasts and writers including Ben Greenfield and Tim Ferris continued to consistently promote it. There is some advertising wive’s tale that it takes seven times to see an advertisement before your mind considers buying the product.

I must have seen (and heard) Athletic Greens advertised somewhere between 50-100 times before I clicked their Facebook promo ad which included a year’s supply of Vitamin D (in an oil dropper format) and some included drinkware/container.

I am a physician, and I have been supplementing with Athletic Greens daily for the past 6 weeks. I cannot admit to any observable change in morning energy or overall health. Sure, it is an acquired tasting green juice that provides a degree of daily nutrient insurance.

What I have told friends and patients about Athletic Greens is that it is the world’s best (and arguably one of the more expensive) daily multivitamins. You may or may not feel any difference, but you will have daily peace of mind that you started the day off with a healthy habit.

For those who can afford it, that can be worth the monthly purchase. And based on its ingredient list and white paper research, I can with some confidence say this. The difference between Athletic Greens and the rest of the supplement world is the difference between consumption and nourishment.

The multivitamin/nutrient supplement made me feel overwhelming hot, flushed and sweaty. I quickly stopped taking the multivitamin after 2 days of trying.

For the price you simply can’t beat it. It’s a very comprehensive formula that has a hefty dose of all the vitamins and minerals you need. I definitely would recommend it to anyone else in to strength training or any individual that has a busy and grueling schedule.

I really love these vitamins. They have all the important vitamins I need including b12. I was taking all my supplements separately and it was 7 pills and this vitamin has all the supplements in one tablet.

So it is cost effective and saved me the space in my pill case. I didn’t get any stomach distress from this vitamin and the size of the vitamin isn’t as big as others and pretty easy to swallow. I didn’t have any problems with burping like with some of the other vitamins I’ve tried.

My husband has a job that requires alot of energy and he has been less tired since starting these vitamins.

After a few health scares and some suspect blood works I decided to look after myself a bit more. I’ve taken multi-vitamins in the past but never really noticed a huge difference. This time round I feel like I have more energy and my health issues are slowly improving.

I have low neutrophil and white blood cell count. Vitamin D alongside zinc and vitamin c helps me not only support my baseline immune system but also muscle synthesis. This is a great product and I have also noticed an improvement to my mood.

This is one of the best multi-vitamins I’ve taken due to its exceptional ingredient profile and added mix of vegetables, fruits, digestive enzymes, minerals, and antioxidants. The nutrients are complete, especially the Vitamin C, Calcium, Zinc, Manganese, and a few others being derived from multiple sources.

Any multi with Vitamin C coming from something other than Ascorbic Acid is awesome! You also have multiple green foods in it to provide that natural nutritional boost. I felt great while taking this product and would highly recommend it.

Dosage is 3 pills lasting 40 days, so you can extend that time obviously by taking 2 or just one per day, depending on your size. Another great thing about this multi is that there are no crap ‘other’ ingredients such as hydrogenated vegetable oil or polysorbate 80 to hold the pills together.

I received a bottle of CTD Multi Elite a few weeks ago and have been taking 3 tablets with 10oz of water before breakfast daily. This is a good multivitamin with a very solid profile providing all the needed nutrients and vitamins needed for proper health, digestion and overall wellness.

The tablets themselves were not too large and didn’t have a horrible smell or bitter aftertaste which was a plus for me. For me, while taking the CTD Multi Elite I felt more energized and less fatigued during the day helping me with not only my daily activities but also with clean energy during my workout.

I like the added profile of Vegetable and Citrus Complex and the high level of Anti-Oxidants that are in this product. The daily 3 tablets provide you with everything you would need or expect to find in a quality daily multivitamin so definitely a 10/10 for profile but at $25.

14 per bottle is is a little expensive for a 40 day multivitamin supply so I give it a 8/10 for value.

I had been taking the inexpensive One A Day Multi for men that you can buy at Sam’s Club. Since starting CTD Sports Multi Elite, my immune system has become stronger and I have battled off a couple of colds that other family members always seem to have.

Finally, one gave me a cold but it was the shortest cold of my life (two days). Normally, I have a two day sore throat followed by a week of crushing sinus pressure/drainage. No sore throat this time and only one day of sinus pressure but not as bad as usual.

This was a wakeup and I have realized that I should not be pinching pennies during cold/flu season. It is just not worth having to suffer like that.
