In all of my medicine-ingesting years, I’ve never had trouble with taking any type of medicine or supplement. I was an easy kid because I didn’t flinch from bitter liquid flu meds, giant cold pills, “cherry” flavored tablets, herbal powders — throw it at me, I’d take it down like a champ.

It was my special ability and I was proud — until now. The first time I took this tablet, unknowing of what was to come, I smelled it and was immediately reminded of hamster food pelllets. That made sense, everything in the tablets were natural and didn’t have artificial flavoring.

“Hmm, kind of smells gross but if hamsters eat similar stuff, how bad could it be?” I thought. Wow was I wrong — I had an immediate gagging reaction as soon as the tablet tried to go down my throat.

I forced it down with a mouthful of water. For the second tablet, I thought it might be easier if I crushed it and swallowed it in a powdered form — was I stupid? It made it worse. Over the next 3 days I experimented with various methods of ingesting these horrid things.

The best solution was to put it in my dry mouth with my right hand, immediately pinch and seal my nose with my left, then grab the cup of water with my right and drown the thing down before my body knew what hit it.

Even then, I got hate mail from my stomach seconds after. Eventually, I got to a point where I could swallow them without pinching my nose. ! I had conquered and defeated these nasty things! Or so I thought.

I celebrated too early — weeks into the bottle, I suddenly started to gag at the tablets again. Back to the nose pinch it was for the rest of the bottle. These tablets not only contain the vitamins and minerals we need to be moms, it also physically and mentally trains us for the torment that will be of trying to tame (raise) our children.

Never underestimate the power of nature. Side note, I still have no idea how hamsters eat their pellets in peace.

I have been a loyal customer for over a year now. I love the vitamins. But for the last three months in a row, August, September and I just received the October shipment, and the vitamin bottles that I received did not have the proper 60 count that are supposed to be in them.

Every bottle was missing exactly 2 pills. The first month, I thought nothing of it. The second month I thought Ok what is going on here. Now the third month, it is the same thing, the bottle is missing exactly 2 pills.

This is unacceptable. I spend money on a product and expected to get what I pay for. Mind you…. these vitamins are not cheap, they are more expensive than other brand vitamins. It is obvious that this company does not take pride in the products they are selling to consumers, nor do they respect or value their customers.

I truly am disappointed and I will be canceling my subscription.

The first month was amazing! I decided I was obsessed with these vitamins and told every one. The slight mint flavor was a big perk for me and made it easy to take for an oil based pill. I’ve had three more months delivered (4 months total) they’ve all tasted awful and strongly of bad fish-like oil.

I wanted to think my second delivery was a fluke after my first bottle being so easy and amazing and unfortunately, the last three bottles I’ve gotten more and more dissapointed. Like friends, I’ve taken vitamin vitamins my whole life with no problems, these have me gagging.

Not sure if they try to hook you with a great first bottle, or if their formula/quality is just inconsistent…either way cancelled today. So sad wanted to love but just can’t do it to myself everyday.

It’s feels good to know my child and I are both reaping the benefits from taking this once a day multivitamin. It’s easy to swallow. The pill coating has a bit of an aftertaste to it, but not too terrible that a couple more sips of water won’t cure.

Being anemic I’m supposed to take an iron supplement, but I really can’t stand taking iron, as the aftertaste is just awful. So I’m thrilled to be able to take this multivitamin that contains iron, and not have to deal with the taste! Would definitely recommend!.

Pregnant with my first little one. I had previously used another brand of prenatals. I found this one so much easier to swallow as the pill size was reasonable. The pill size doesn’t make you take additional pills through your day which I Aldo understand with some gummies.

These vitamins are ideal for everyone who is planning a pregnancy and are pregnant. Each pill is quite big, but it contains most of the vitamins and minerals needed daily. They retail for $25-30 per bottle, but each bottle should last 100 days, so it is pretty good value.

This is a really high quality prenatal pill at a very reasonable price. In my pregnancy group many other women were complaining that their pills smelled or tasted awful, and some were using more expensive brands that were less complete.

I do not find these pills to be unpleasant at all and like that they have DHA so I don’t have to take additional supplements. The pill capsules themselves are pretty large but the coating makes them go down easily (at least for me).

When I first started taking these (pre-pregnancy, when TTC) I noticed they made my stomach feel a little off, likely because of the iron in them. So I ended up rotating these with iron-free gummy pre-natals every other day until my body got more used to them.

Once I was actually pregnant I switched back to using only these because I wanted most complete vitamin option available. I have used these throughout my pregnancy so far, including the entirety of the first semester.

I did experience morning sickness and don’t know if it would have been worse or better if I used a different pre-natal vitamin. If you are sensitive to the iron in these I found the rotation method worked for me.

Additionally iron supplementation becomes more important later on in pregnancy when your baby has depleted your iron and calcium stores, so you might find you can use a different prenatal if iron worsens your morning sickness then switch back to an iron-containing supplement later on if needed.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. All the other reviews are exactly right. I used these prenatals for my first two pregnancies and loved them. But now on my third pregnancy and the pills are soooooo fishy.

You can’t even touch them when without the fish smell lingering on your fingers. I had to take stop taking them because the taste was so awful. I also tried the gummy versions of this same brand and those are fishy as well (though not as fishy as these) so they must have changed their formula across the board.

Please don’t waste your money on these. I never write reviews, but these are so terrible that I had to.

These come in a screw top lid plastic container but with a lid decorated to appear like wood or bamboo which I thought was clever. It’s a premium looking package. The contents are good, with enough capsules to last you a while and to get a good idea of whether the product helps you.

While I didn’t experience any noticeable changes to my body or self while taking these, I’d like to think they were providing my body with a small extra boost in vitamins and nutrients even if I can’t see a difference.

I love this brand for supplements. My main reason for choosing them is because they are “MTHFr safe” and I’ve NEVER seen vitamins that are safe for that. They use folate instead of folic acid which is amazing.

I’m really really excited for this one. I have been looking around for some other formulation that has more than fenugreek. Fenugreek Is very good, but there are also tons of other ingredients that help with increasing breast milk supply, and I’m glad to say that this product is unique because it contains other components that are traditionally known to increase supply! This is my first time actually taking the time write a review, but these work so well. I looked at different snack that help with lactation but they were all so pricey and I didn’t want to take the chance of not liking them.

These capsules are easy to swallow and worked immediately. I took them at night and the next morning I was lactating heavily.

Has brought my milk supply back after almost drying up completely. Took 2capsules with a meal 2x day and it worked overnight. Saved me a lot of stress. My production has been consistent. Now I only take 1 capsule 2x a day.

The pill size I think is fine for the average person, I personally just struggle with taking any pill/capsile bigger than the size of a birth control tablet. Even so, this was still manageable for me.
