Vitamins are essential nutrients that are required for the body to function properly. They can be found in a variety of foods, including fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products. However, some people, such as vegetarians, may not get enough of certain vitamins from their diet.
This is why many vegetarians take vitamin supplements to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they need.
There are a variety of vitamins that are important for vegetarians to consider, including vitamin B12, vitamin D, and iron. Vitamin B12 is found naturally in animal products, so it can be difficult for vegetarians to get enough of this nutrient.
Vitamin B12 supplements are therefore often recommended for vegetarians. Vitamin D is another nutrient that is found in animal products, but it can also be obtained from exposure to sunlight. However, many vegetarians may not get enough sunlight exposure, so a vitamin D supplement may also be recommended.
Iron is found in both animal and plant foods, but it is more easily absorbed from animal sources. This is why vegetarians, especially women, may need to take an iron supplement.
Overall, it is important for vegetarians to make sure they are getting enough of all the essential nutrients, including vitamins. Taking a daily multivitamin is a good way to ensure that you are getting all the nutrients you need.
In addition, eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains will help you get the nutrients your body needs.

My husband doesn’t do supplements, doesn’t feel a need. Long ago he took a supplement (Brand?) and they had an adverse effect on him. nNevet took them again. Now he is 78 and we decided to go vegan until our next physical in August, to see how it effects our LDL, HDL and TriG… I said, we should have a supplement to support us incase we are missing essential vitamins….
After reading & research we decided on Hippo7,have been wonderful and have everything we need for our vegan diet…he walks 5 miles (almost every day) unless adverse weather, and he hasn’t felt so run down since taking Hippo7, we’ve been Vegan 3 months now.
Feel these were a good choice. Also, staff working there are really great to correspond with. Thank you,.
I’ve only been vegan a month. The first week, I ate a lot of junk because I was trying some of the processed foods and exploring what options there were on the market. The second week, I went back to cooking and making balanced, healthy eating choices.
The third and fourth week, I wasn’t really feeling well. I have iron and B12 at home, they weren’t helping. Hippo7 made a good difference. I do feel a lot better taking these. Whatever my diet has been lacking, these make up for it.
I’m really glad I found these to make my transition easier, and going forward, making sure I get all the nutrients I need. Disappointed they aren’t shaped like Hippos though, haha!.
My daughter has been struggling with Anemia/Iron deficiency for years. She has been taking Iron tablets 2 times a day for over a year with an improved diet with no resolve. Usually, she does not listen to me when I suggest to take anything to help her.
So, she decided to start taking the Hippo vitamins 1 capsule a day for one week. She began to notice a difference in how she was feeling and decided to start taking the Hippo vitamins 2 times a day. Needless to say, her blood iron levels improved from 2.
4 to 81 and her HCT 8 to 32 in 7 weeks along with her Iron tablets 2 times a day. She feel great, have more energy, and she look vibrant. Thanks to David Gwyn for recommending this vitamin for me and my family.
We are now going to be lifetime customers. I am vegan so I decided to ask David about vitamins he take and referred me to Hippo 7 vitamins. I had brittle nails that have improved, more energy, and not as much bloating.
I should add elimination of stools have improved. I am officially, a monthly subscriber. I have my youngest daughter that is anemic as well. She’s taking it slow and have been taking her vitamins 1 tablet a day although not every day.
Once she get her blood drawn, I will write a review if she have improved lab results. Thank you Hippo 7 for helping me and my family. Heaven sent along with David’s recommendation ❤️💕💙.
My absolute favorite multivitamin ever. Not to extremely high in the vitamins, just right. Also, no copper, no iron, which is what I wanted. Just the minerals that I do want. I hope that life extension never stops making this.
I purchased this for some relatives as well because I love it so much.
I love this new food based multivitamin. Easy on the stomach and I feel great taking it. I hope LF brings to market more food based supplements instead of always using only isolated nutrients. I also hope LF brings back Mediterranean Diet food based capsules.
I hope that Lycopene can be added to this multi in the future.
Features cultured vegetarian vitamins and minerals to support overall health. Contains antioxidants from a fruit and veggie blend, plus lutein to help protect against harmful free radicals Includes Lycopene, found in tomatoes, to support heart and prostate health.
Provides a digestive enzyme blend to support digestive health. Men’s Multivitamin by Earth Genius is a gluten free, non-GMO and vegetarian vitamin. Men’s Multivitamin by GNC Earth Genius is a vegetarian multivitamin that helps support men’s nutrition by providing nutrients they may not be getting from their diet.
This men’s multivitamin is crafted using ingredients derived from fruits, veggies, and botanicals plus digestive enzymes.
I tried this vitamin for the first time two months ago after wanting to switch up after taking the GNC one-a day brand for over 8 years. This multi-vitamin is a great choice I could instantly feel the difference when I made the switch.
I highly recommend this vitamin and will continue taking it because it simply works for me. The formula is so balanced and pure, I only need to take one a day instead two. Try it and I believe your body will thank you for it!.
GNC destroyed this company when they took it over. Used to always be available and in stock. They have now cut 50% of the antioxidants and charge more. Also it is never in stock anymore. Get it together GNC.
I thought corporations were supposed to be good at making money.
These vitamin’s are Awesome! It took some getting used to because they do make you feel different. Overtime my body got used to them now I feel different in a bad way if I forget to take them daily. They really make a difference.

Reviews From Real Customers
This is an awesome and affordable product which combines a few supplements vegans might need in one small tablet. Many other vegan multivitamin products, including those by Deva, contain excessive amounts of iron or other vitamins or minerals.
Non-menstruating people should supplement up to 8 mg of iron a day. Some other multivitamins contain 18 mg per tablet, which is the recommended daily dose for people who menstruate. This product contains 9 mg of iron.
Many other products contain too much of some vitamins, exceeding their tolerable upper intake level. Most often, that’s vitamin B3 (niacin) and folate (when combined with the amount you get from food).
This product offers a safer dosage of those vitamins. It provides 100% the daily need of vitamin B2 (riboflavin), 50% folic acid, 6 mcg of vitamin B12 (which should be enough if you have no issues with its absorption or the intrinsic factor), 50% iodine for those who don’t eat much salt, 50% selenium, 30% zinc.
Note that this product technically contains calcium and magnesium, but the dose is negligible, so you need to supplement those separately. 60 mg of vitamin C will help with the absorption of iron, but the recommended amount of vitamin C to take with iron is 250 mg.
To make sure the iron is fully absorbed, I take an additional 200 mg of vitamin C with this tablet. Other constituents aren’t really necessary, because you normally get enough of them with food, but the dosage is safe.
The only questionable ones are boron, choline and inositol. I believe they are harmless at the dosage found here. Note that this product contains 30 mcg of biotin. Biotin supplements are known to cause distorted results of many blood tests, including thyroid hormone tests.
Ask your physician if you need to stop taking the supplement a few days before your blood test.
I have used both the Devan “tiny” tablets and their full sized. First of all, I don’t know how they managed to make such a small pill so difficult to get down but they did. I don’t know whats up with the hard lines they’re putting on both now but if you’re looking for something easier to get down, this isn’t easy.
I hate big pills too but take it from me, the full size ones are actually easier. Second of all, after taking these for some time my labs showed I was low in a couple areas. They just aren’t enough. Get the full sized ones.
And Deva if you’re reading this. smooth the sizes of the pills like they used to be!.
This is the best B-Complex I’ve tried so far. I normally get side effects from B-Complex, but not from this one. They are not small tablets, but the shape and texture of them makes them easy to swallow.
Highly recommend. Powerful multitaskers, B vitamins are involved in energy metabolism, helping break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates into fuel. They help support cognitive function, the transmission of nerve impulses, a healthy stress response and a balanced mood.
In addition, they assist in the formation of red blood cells and help support immune function, cardiovascular health, vibrant hair and skin, and stronger nails. VegLife Vegan B-Complex provides an optimal balance of water-soluble B vitamins, including B6, B12, folic acid, riboflavin and biotin.
Because they are not stored in the body, B vitamins must be obtained from the diet. Vegan and vegetarians are particularly at risk of low levels, so supplementation may be a good idea. VegLifes potent Vegan B-Complex is formulated to help replenish these important nutrients for energy and vitality support and your overall health.
VegLife is a 100% Vegan brand designed to meet the unique dietary needs of vegetarians and vegans. All VegLife products are third-party Vegan Certified. Bust through that dull, low-energy feeling and bring vibrant health and vitality back with this top-shelf B-Complex.

It is Vegetarian/Kosher supplement adding specific support for the vegetarian diet. A vegetarian diet tends to cause the body to receive less of the essential vitamins and nutrients need to sustain life.
For that reason, Country Life has formed this multi-vitamin supplement made especially for those vegetarians out there who want to stay as healthy as possible. With the new Maxi-sorb technology, the essential nutrients and vitamins are absorbed much more efficiently.
As far as the multi complexes go – this is pretty great! Just be mindful that you will need 4 pills as one does – and you will not absorb the full context of each pill thus why they have such high levels of certain vitamins and minerals.
I recommend to still cycle the course – with 5 days on and 2 days off for better results.
My husband and I were taking another brand and it was obviously lacking in enough B12, although the packaging said there was enough. I think a person needs more than what is necessary, because we only assimilate so much.
So, if it is JUST enough, we are not getting enough. This product has a lot in it. I feel so much better taking it. I feel healthy again. So happy I found it.
THis is a great quality supplement. It arrived very quickly. SInce the price was so low, i was concerned about the expiration date, but when it arrived I could see that it was a fresh product and the expiration date is 2 years away.

Are you getting enough fruits and vegetables in your diet? Studies show that 91% of Americans should be consuming more. FeelGood Superfoods Vita Fruits + Veggies Capsules provide a powerful multivitamin blend that combines natures best plant-based superfood nutrition with a range of essential vitamins and whole food phytonutrients.
This superfood blend of 25 fruits and vegetables can help supplement your diet with a wide variety of healthful nutrients. One capsule per day provides 100% daily value of Vitamins, A, C, D, E, B1, Zinc and Niacin.
My wife and I first tried balance of nature for about 2 months. I googled an alternative because of cost. Feel Good offered the alternative. We have tried Vita Fruits and Veggies for about 2 months and found that its one pill per day was equal to the six pills per day from the first company in terms of benefits.
I must say, the flashy red and green colors from them caught our attention. We are more interested in benefits than flashy colors and have found that in Vita Fruits and Veggies. The arthritis in my hands is almost completely gone.
As a painter, I am ascending and descending ladders 5 days per week. I no longer feel the need for the use of knee sleeves. My knees bend much easier and with NO PAIN. I have noticed my wife of 75 years, looking and feeling better.
Less naps per day and more precious time out in her gardens. Thanks to all the essential team members of Feel Good. Well, that sounded weird. I should say “ALL TEAM MEMBERS” – Please continue “doing what you are doing” because ALL TEAM MEMBERS are essential to delivering a product that IS WORKING for my wife and me.
I had been a Balance of Nature(BoN) customer for several years. My need was not for energy etc. I’m a blood cancer victim doing infusion therapy. One symptom of this cancer is sever anemia. I subscribed to BoN to get my vitals back to “normal” quicker.
Being 88 years old and a widower I felt my nutrition was lacking. So I took BoM for it’s nutrition value. There was a noticeable increase in the blood markers over several months. But, getting refills was a battle, the daily pill intake of six per day and price of $69 made me think there had to be a better solution.
A Google search produced Feel Good. It was rated above BoN, the product was rated equivalent to BoN and the price was about 2/3 below BoN. Having been without medication for two weeks due to the failure to promptly ship refills, I’ve been taking Feel Good for about two weeks and feel that I am back to where I was on BoN.
I ordered a bottle and shared it with my friend for a month. We both felt better and threw out most of the extra vitamins and supplements we had in the medicine cabinet. This product contains everything I had been taking individually and has taken my daily pill intake from 15 to 7 daily pills.
I’m old lady and I am very grateful for that reduction. and the savings!.
Support your health and wellness with Naturelo One Daily Multivitamin for Women. Loaded with 24 essential vitamins and minerals, plus organic fruits and vegetables, these multivitamins provide whole food nutrition and antioxidant support while supporting women’s health, all in just one daily multivitamin for women.
They boost your natural energy and vitality and support your heart, brain, eye, and immune health with vitamins, minerals, and organic whole foods keeping our body functioning at its best. Formulated from premium plant-based vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin D3 from lichen, Vitamin E from sunflower, Calcium and Magnesium from marine algae, and Iodine from kelp, they are vegan and non-GMO, and contain no gluten, soy, or preservatives.
They are made with real ingredients, because the best nutrition comes from nature, not from a lab.
I have cancer and start taking these vitamins about four months ago. My lab numbers have gotten better. I take Iron (my white blood count is normal and my red blood counts are one point off from being normal).
My Iron has gotten better, not fully where they need to be just yet, but hopefully on the next test we will see my iron improve. I take Iron for anemia and for my blood counts. I take the one a day multivitamin, I take vitamin D to help with my bone health.
I take Magnesium to help with taking the iron, so I am not constipated, and I take turmeric and ginger to help with arthritis. My hip is not nearly as bad with taking the turmeric and ginger and my laboratory numbers have gotten better in just four months.
I am looking forward to seeing where my lab numbers will be in a year. I also started intermittent fasting around the same time (16 fasting/8 eating) so not sure which of these have made the greatest impact but with them together, I am hoping my condition improves over time.
Thank you Naturelo for providing a product that is natural that we can trust. Suzanne Summers recommended in one of her books to start taking natural vitamins, and I am so glad that I followed through to find your company.
I have been using the Whole Food Complete Multivitamin for almost a month now. I have tried many different multivitamins in the past and some have zero results and some have had noticeable results. Naturelo claims this one is a “beauty blend” to support energy, immune and skin health.
I have noticed a slight boost in energy. My skin was dry before and has remained dry – no change there. We have had some really extreme weather changes over the last month that would normally send my immune system into a tailspin.
Oddly, I have felt pretty great through it all. Even though it isn’t an advertised side effect on the bottle, there has been a significant change in my hair. I have oily roots which causes my hair to lay flat and since I have been taking these capsules, my scalp is no longer oily.
These capsules are the only thing I have changed/added to my routine, so it is hard to believe it is not related. Just in case it is, I am going to continue to take them daily. Overall, I am pleased and have had no bad side effects.
Vegan, Plant-Based, Gluten-Free: Bacopa Monnieri, Full Active B-Complex, Astaxanthin, Resveratrol, Ancient Peat Extract Fulvic Minerals, Organic Selenium, Berberine, Zinc, Iron
Products like this are very hard to review because there are so many claims being made. I don’t know how to evaluate “Anti-Aging, Brain Booster, Pre Workout, and Energy, w/ Vitamin D, B Complex, B12, Resveratrol, Astaxanthin” claims on the bottle.
I could definitely feel the “energy” and “pre-workout” ingredients working as expected as I could feel a caffeine-like rush to my system 15-20 mins after ingesting the product. That said, I am 100% skeptical of “anti-aging” “brain boosting” type claims as they haven’t been validated by the FDA.
Not only that, but there is simply no way I can tell if this vitamin does all that it claims it does. So, I’d check with your Dr. (like I did) before taking this to make sure it won’t cause any negative reaction with other medicines.
My Dr. said it should be harmless and said it was ok for me to take.
So the package is nice. But. I’ve tried some different supplements lately and had no issues, good results. Not with these. First, they smell awful. I mean awful. If you have a sensitive nose or are quick to gag from smells, this is not for you.
I tried to use these as directed on the bottle. 3 pills a day. Every time I took these they led to major stomach problems, like stay near the bathroom all day kinda problems. Not sure what’s in them, but something, had my stomach, very, very angry.
That said after it happening the third time I decided to just beg off them. Most likely will toss them. They are of no use to me. And I certainly wouldn’t pass them to anyone else with the way my system responded to them.
I don’t recommend them. If you feel these may help you, go ahead, try them. You’ve been warned.
Historically, I must state for the record that I have never responded very well to herbal supplements of any kind. My body simply does not respond to anything “herbal”, regardless of the dosage. Furthermore, this product is listed as a multiple, and while I personally and professionally feel that multiples are mandatory for maintaining optimum health & fitness, one must be very wary about false advertising claims that multiple vitamins help provide energy to the body.
Energy to the body is provided by a combination of fats and carbohydrates, and not vitamins and minerals. This is basic nutrition 101. Be that as it may, if you are a vegetarian, and it is important to you that your supplementation program is naturally derived from 100% plant-based materials, then you may rest assured, that this is the product for you.

I have taken Garden of Life multi vitamin products for women for years, but recently purchased this product: vitamin code 50 and wiser. There was an issue with the outside of the number of the capsules where there seemed to be an irregularity/ hard to explain, but almost a wrinkle / unevenness that made me uncomfortable.
I wanted the company to know for obvious reasons and called and explained the situation along with providing them with pictures. I didn’t assume there was any tampering, but I was certainly not going to take them.
Also, I had never seen anything like this before and I’ve been taking vitamins for many years. To try an keep their response brief, they sent me coupons in very small amounts to be used on further purchases basically ensuring I would have to buy many products in the future with a minimal credit.
I did not expect this and emailed back how dissatisfied and disappointed I was with this “resolution” and how I have been s customer for a long time. They basically responded that they stand behind their quality control and their decision, but that I was free to return the product for full refund.
Problem is, I cannot remember where I purchased them, I’m almost certain it was on-line, and am having trouble finding that information which is unusual for me. I may give them one more chance to do the right thing and replace or refund completely, but I believe they have lost a long term customer.
Advanced Vegan Multi-Vitamin and Mineral 60 Vegan Caps – Pure Vegan Advanced Vegan Multi-Vitamin and Mineral features a blend of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants derived from 100% animal-free sources.
Advanced Vegan Multi-Vitamin also features a collection of other beneficial ingredients, including quercetin, grapeseed extract, l-carnitine and more. No dairy, egg, sugar, corn, yeast, wheat, soy, gluten, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
This is a good product. What bothers me is they interchange vegetarian and vegan when they are not interchangeable and very different. I would not purchase again because it causes major confusion
Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin with a role in the formation of collagen, which is an important constituent of bones, muscle, cartilage and blood vessels. This vitamin is not stored in the body well and some of the main sources of Vitamin C include fruits and vegetables.
High quality supplements, such as Vegan Vitamin C is another potent source of Vitamin C. Our Vegan Vitamin C is made from Acerola Cherry, Camu Camu and Rosehips. Each tablet provides 250 mg of Vitamin C made from food sources.
Acerola Extract is derived from the fruit of the Acerola plant also known as West Indian Cherry. The fruits of the acerola tree are appreciated for their nutritive value, and they are generally regarded as being one of the richest food sources for the vitamin C in the world.
Camu Camu is also a shrub like Acerola, found in the Amazon forest and known as one of most potent sources of vitamin C. Rose hips are berries, which can be eaten fresh, dried or even preserved. They are known for their high content of Vitamin C as well as well other natural health properties.
Our Vitamin C is buffered with calcium so its acidity is reduced in the stomach. This helps so that it may be easier on your stomach and less likely to cause loose stools. DEVA Vegan Vitamin C is 100% animal free, and guaranteed for purity, freshness and labeled potency.
Remember all DEVA Products are 100% vegan, vegetarian and are certified by the Vegan Society, the non-profit organization that actually invented the word “vegan”.

Future Kind’s vegan multivitamin is the best all in one vegan supplement for vegans and vegetarians because it contains the perfect amount of B12, Omega-3 and Vitamin D. Up to 92% of vegans are not getting enough B12 and most people in the U.
S, vegan or not, aren’t getting enough Omega-3 and Vitamin D so this vegan multivitamin is perfect for anyone. Future Kind’s vegan vitamins contain premium ingredients, are backed by science, and are 100% vegan and cruelty free.
With so many diet-related scams out there, it’s a shame to see Future Kind add to the noise. A few weeks ago, I bought my first bottle. It seems like a good product, and I love that it only gives what I need as a vegetarian.
So, I went to re-up. At checkout, I was pushed a lightning deal that offered 3 extra bottles with free shipping. Using a countdown clock to encourage impulse buys, they framed it as “adding to my order,” implying free shipping for the whole thing.
That wasn’t the case, this was barely a deal at all. I ended up spending way more than I wanted, and now I’m sorting it out. Is it my fault for falling for it? To other honest vegans like myself: beware! Think before you click “pay” – best to stay awake on this one.
I have been taking this multivitamin for about 2 weeks now, and I’m satisfied with it overall. First, I love the environmental consciousness in the packaging materials. And second, I have a hard time swallowing pills, but these ones are smaller than most multivitamins, and are soft-gels so they are easy to swallow.
My only critique is that the vitamin concentration is too high. Taking 2 pills/day as recommended gives nearly 17,000% of your daily B12 and 250% of your daily Vit D. That’s way too high! For that reason, I only take one pill a day.
I’d love to see a version of this pill that simply has 100% of what I’d need in a day, and then this product would be perfect.
I wrote to Future Kind a while back and requested that they consider switching away from plastic bottles. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that, not too long later, I received a glass bottle with even better packaging! They have one more loyal customer now.
I’m really impressed by their company’s commitment to their mission. As for product quality, I searched around for the best vegan multivitamin and found that Future Kind actually beats the prices of even buying these three supplements individually.
These are exactly the three supplements I need as a vegan. The pills are small and truly easy to swallow and even smell good. I actually looked up the nutrient quantities I need and technically only have to take one pill a day, not two, so I am actually getting these for half the price.
The subscription deliveries are always on time and so easy to modify if needed. I am really impressed with this company and am also getting the best deal I could find on the market with really great quality.
Essential Vegan Multi is a balanced multivitamin designed especially for people following a full or part-time plant-based diet. Formulated with 27 essential vitamin and mineral nutrients, all from vegan sources and designed to help fill the nutritional gaps in vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian regimes.
Includes high therapeutic levels of B12 and Iron to support normal energy levels and brain function, vegan-friendly vitamin K2 and D3 for bone strength, and choline for healthy liver function. It also contains Biotin which contributes to healthy skin, hair and nails.
Essential Vegan Multi is formulated to provide optimum utilization by the body and developed in a pure wholefood base of spirulina, alfalfa, and bilberry. Easy one-a-day complete multivitamin contained in a vegan capsule.
Suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians 100% active ingredients; no binders, fillers or additives. Gluten-free Never tested on animals, palm oil-free, GMO-free and approved by the Vegan Society.
I was so happy to find a vegan, palm oil free multi, BUT the smell is, by far, the worst I’ve ever experienced for any supplement. It is rancidly strong. Also, customer service doesn’t respond to emails.
The star rating is for appreciating they’re an ethical company, but I won’t be buying this product again mainly b/c of the “rotten egg” smell.
I like these multivits because as a vegan they provide a good all round supplement. Also I tend to get low in iron and these contain 20mg which is a good amount. I also love the Viridian brand as I believe they have good ethics and do not add fillers to their supplements.
A vegetarian diet can be a healthy option, but it is important to make sure that you are getting all of the nutrients that your body needs. Vitamins are an important part of a healthy diet, and there are some vitamins that are only found in animal products.
If you are a vegetarian, it is important to make sure that you are getting enough of the following vitamins:
Vitamin B12: This vitamin is found in animal products, and it is important for the health of your red blood cells and nervous system.
Vitamin D: This vitamin is found in animal products and fortified foods, and it is important for bone health.
Omega-3 fatty acids: These fatty acids are found in fish and other animal products, and they are important for heart health and brain development.
If you are a vegetarian, you can get all of these nutrients by taking supplements or eating fortified foods.
