20 Best Vitamix For Juicing (2022 Updated)

VitaMix has gone downhill with their newer models and fancy upgrades on their household models. I have burned up a couple of their household models. I finally upgraded to the 1005 VitaPrep. 1hp more than the household models.

It has the power to muscle through a raw cheesecake batter made with raw cashews. Their standard model does not handle raw cheesecake. The standard models overheat and smoke out with raw cheesecake, making it necessary to turn off and cool the machine.

Usually, the standard models will simply STOP when the task becomes too hard, smelling up the kitchen. Some people will put their machines in the freezer to cool off their household VitaMixes. So far, I have not needed to cool my Commercial VitaPrep 1005.

I’ve had it a couple years. I would not go back to the household VitaMix models. Unfortunately, the VitaPrep 1005 doesn’t have a 7 year warranty. Mine only came with a 3 year warranty. Add a Robo Coupe to your kitchen too and you can handle most of your mixing and prep jobs with plenty of power.

I got this one day earlier than what JL H. promised to my pleasant surprise. I have used it a few times now and it has been flawless. Lots of air blown from the bottom which is good for getting rid of those heat from the powerful motor.

I wouldn’t want anything less in that regard. I wish the center control knob would work at high speed but from all these times that I tried, once it is on high speed by flipping the left switch up, the center knob becomes un-affected.

And the speed jump from low to high by flipping the left side switch was a huge jump causing the juice inside to splash at the instant I flipped the switch. I was hoping the speed increases more slowly but that was just my wish.

I suppose the quiet version that Vitamix has would be more ear soothing but I am ok with my current one. Everything else has been great so far after 1 week of use. Thank you JL H. and Vitamix.

I’ve worked in many commercial kitchen where I had the luxury of using on on a daily basis, essentially a test drive. When my kitchen aid crapped out—this was a no-brainer. I have the 6500 2. 2 hp with the taller container, but its the same exact base and quality.

I use mine a lot and it’s a workhorse as it should be. To the person that stated in their review that they blew the motor making cashew milk. that speaks volumes. You’re using the wrong product. You don’t need a horsepower rig fir that, and if you start off without any liquid, there’s a failsafe so the motor doesn’t overheat.

I’d place a bet that’s exactly what was done. dry product jammed in, and when the clutch doesn’t pick up and resistance it disengaged to protect itself. These are built to last with steel engineering versus plastic.

I’ve used comparable Ninja units in culinary school and they were like hair dryers with all. sorts of plastic add ons that were useless and got lost almost immediately. I’ve gone through two kitchenaids so they’ve served their purpose, but no need to go in that direction again.

I was fleet afoot and purchased and picked it up on Friday. I gave it 5 stars although I have not used it yet based on my impressions. It is big, heavy and appears to be well constructed. I did my research before making my purchase.

It is no longer for sale on other websites I checked, including vitamix. I have concluded that it has been discontinued and discovered that many of the new attachments will not work with this model. It looks like Bestbuy obtained all the remaining supplies.

For my needs I am sure this will be a great machine. I would suggest your buy yours as soon as possible while supplies last.

I got this when it was on sale for $399. 99. I’ve been using it pretty much everyday and I love it! It blends so fast and so consistently. So far I’ve only made smoothies and soup which have both been pleasant experiences.

It’s also very easy to clean. I will say it’s much bigger than I expected and it can get VERY loud but because it blends things so fast, you don’t need to have it on for long lol. So happy with my purchase but I don’t think I would’ve purchased it full price.

I received the Vitamix A3500 blender yesterday within 2 days. Set up was very easy without reading the instruction manual and quickly made a berry smoothie. It blended well, although there were very few tiny black berry seeds that didn’t blend completely, but it is 100 times better than my old Ninja blender.

The noise level is not that loud. The blender looks very nice and sleek on my countertop. I love the black stainless steel color. It’s a beautiful new color Vitamix has introduced. It took me 20 years to finally look into purchasing a Vitamix blender as it is an expensive blender and another 3 years to research and compare with other blenders! Overthinking was stressing me out and finally I decided to purchase this blender as life is too short! When this blender was delivered, I was surprised it came in a plain light brown box with a big black Vitamix logo instead of a nice looking fancy box that I would have kept incase I moved and needed to store my Vitamix in it.

Also, I find the 64 OZ container too big as we are only 2 people in the household and also it cannot fit it under my countertop over the blender unit. I wish there was a choice to select the type of blender for the basic package during the time of purchase as buying an additional smaller blender is also too costly.

Hence, giving it 4 stars for now. I will provide more reviews in the near future and hopefully my rating will go up.

The app functionality is awesome, removes the guessing from what speed to set it at, and how long to blend for. So far, I’ve made soup(no pre-cooking, the friction heated it up to 150F in 6 minutes!) and smoothies on the main container.

Smoothies come out so fast(and silky! No more little shreds of veggies/fruit skins). The self cleaning setting is REALLY only good for the blades and immediate area around them(bottom 10-15% of the container).

I’m a clean freak, so I may be an exception, so I still like to scrub the inside with a sponge after the self cleaning cycle. I also used it with the little bowl and the smoothie cup attachments with the blade base.

Saw some bad reviews saying they couldn’t get the blade tight enough, and IT IS A REAL ISSUE, I workout with weights regularly, but my wife doesn’t, and she couldn’t get it on tight enough without some major leverage using the blender to hold the blade base.

Asked my mom to give it a shot, and there was no hope for her to get it tight enough. So keep that in mind if you plan on getting the smoothie cup or bowl attachments (Do you normally struggle opening cans/jars? You may want to rethink buying the cup/bowl attachments).

Alright, ignoring the tightening issue the attachments also have their own settings in the app, and the blender works great with them. I’ve made almond butter in the bowl, and personal smoothies in the smoothie cup.

I have to say I prefer the main container over the smoothie cup, the main container does a better job keeping everything moving(therefore blending better). I wish there was a better form of cable management with the blender, for neater stowage when not in use.

Finally, I really REALLY hope this blender lasts me for the length of the warranty, and maybe double that, the price was a HUGE pill to swallow, coming from a $40 blender, sure, maybe it doesn’t perform nearly as well, but I’ve had that blender for 8 years, and it works flawlessly.

So really hoping the Vitamix lasts twice as long at least. So, if you’re in the market for a high powered blender, and can’t decide on a Vitamix, or competing high powered competitor, know that the price also accounts for the durability (or so THEY say).

Can’t speak on it as I’ve had it less than a month. But I guess you can be rest assured that they’ll cover any defects with their exceptional warranty (supposedly).

We’ve owned (and loved) 4 Ninja Blenders but their lifespan isn’t as long as the Vitamix so we decided to make the switch. We like the former so much better and are disappointed with our purchase. A burning smell that is indicated in the manual upon initial use lasted far longer than suggested.

The ribs on the inside of the canister make it difficult to scrape down. The soft rubber platform that the canister sits on sheds when wiping with a damp rag and when you continue on to wipe the sides these specs stick to the plastic and smear which are then impossible to get off.

The rubber also sticks to the bottom of the canister and when it’s placed on our light countertop it leaves black marks that don’t come off easily. The lid isn’t that easy to pry off. The Ninja has all of these complaints beat in every way.

The one upside is that the motor is definitely superior to the Ninja.

This is my first Vitamix and I noticed the difference right away. The build quality is excellent. The A2500 is very user friendly, looks great on the countertop and most importantly the blend quality is incredible.

After getting into açaí bowls and smoothies and trying the Oster it just wouldn’t do it with the precision and ease of a Vitamix. I’ve read a ton of reviews about this machine and unless some people have received defective machines, I don’t know why everyone is whining about this model.

If the container is too big (not a problem I experienced), select another model. This machine was said to be extremely loud by some reviewers but I have not experienced a level of loud that would require hearing protection.

If you are on the fence thinking this isn’t a good blender, don’t allow the few negative reviews to make you look elsewhere. It has a 10 year warranty. I have been using it every day since I opened the box.

I bought my Vitamix Ascent over three years ago. Separately ordered Vitamix Ascent Series Blending Bowl Starter Kit, 225 mL and 600mL. After 3years and 3 months all 4 cups are no longer detected by machine (warranty covers 3 years, what a coincidence).

Customer Servis keeps giving me tips how to correctly attach the containers to the blender! Good enough for the beginners not for me after 3 years of experience. The set literally is faulty. No offer to repair even for a fee.

What about all pro ecological tendency if your not cheap accessory ends up in a bin after 3 years of being rarely used? Morover why the mixing base can not be bought separately. I do not need another two containers! I’m so dissapointed that I already ordered different blender for smoothies and sauces.

Bought the reconditioned Venturist V1200, which came with the low profile 64oz jar, and the 600mL (20oz) smoothie cup & blade base. The base and jars appear new and are compatible with the newer Ascent series smart jars.

Love the fact Vitamix doesn’t depend on blade sharpness, which ultimately dulls and I am confident this will last a long while and is a solid investment. Using it takes a bit of getting used to get the desired results, but that is the the same with any tool, and it allows for results that simply aren’t achievable with other blenders I’ve used.

The blade base of the 20oz jar is extremely solid and fits very snug into the blender base – I actually wish the 64oz jar fit that snug. With the 20oz jar & base, you have to tighten it quite more than I expected before the blender will register it’s there.

There are subtle triangle markings on the base and jar, but the instructions I received didn’t mention these, and I still find I have to tighten past where I expect. I also found the blending quality and ability to integrate ingredients far inferior in the 20oz jar, so I tend to blend everything in larger portions in the 64oz jar and use the 20oz if I have leftovers, which I can easily remix later.

The travel lid for the 20oz jar is also a bit difficult to pop open, but works well. I live in an apartment and am always hyperconscious about sound potentially disturbing neighbours, so I’ve placed it on cloth trivets which as dampened the sound a bit.

(If you do this, just ensure air flow is not obstructed in any way and the trivets do not get too warm. ) It stays on my counter, as I use it almost daily. The Venturist 1200 does not have bluetooth connectivity and is not compatible with the app, but uses smart containers which are compatible with the smart Ascent series, so there’s a logical upgrade path when needed.

Overall super happy with the purchase and professional quality of results. Highly recommended.

At first I ordered the E320 (reconditioned) and loved it. Before the initial 30 days were up, the Venturist V1200 (reconditioned) went on sale for only $10 more than what I’d paid for the E320, and it also came with a personal cup and adapter.

Since I was interested in the personal cup/adapter for making smaller amounts, such as salad dressings, I ordered the V1200 and returned the E320 (a very easy process). The E320 and V1200 have the same motor, and both have the low profile jar, so they both perform exactly the same (I could tell no difference whatsoever).

They both have the 1-10 speed dial and a pulse button. The V1200 has a digital timer, while the E320 has no timer. I really like the timer, as I know EXACTLY how long I’m blending. The V1200’s on/off button is located on the side toward the back, which could be a problem depending on how tight space is in your kitchen (you have to have a few inches of space available on that side in order to access the button).

Not sure why they chose that location for the on/off button, because it makes no sense. The V1200 has the capability to add fancy attachments (food processor, etc) if that’s your thing. The E320 does not (the only attachment for it is a personal cup and adapter).

The jar lids are completely different, with the V1200 having the newer hard plastic clear lid and the E320 having the older solid colored silicone-type lid. I loved the lid on the E320. easy to get on/off, easy to tell when it’s properly snapped on.

I absolutely HATE the V1200’s lid!!! It’s very difficult to get it snapped on properly (at least that’s my experience) and I’ve ended up with food all over myself and the kitchen several times. My husband has had the same experience.

We thought it might ‘relax’ after some use and the problem would resolve, but it hasn’t. I hate the lid SO much that I even called Vitamix to see if the other type lid would work (they said no). Had I known the lid would be such a pain, I probably would have kept the E320 because I don’t care about all of the fancy attachments.

As far as the personal cup/adapter. it’s okay, but doesn’t mix things as well as I’d hoped (and yes, I add ingredients in the proper order). I would have rated the V1200 a ‘5’ because it really is a great blender, but Vitamix needs to move the on/off button to the front, and they need to do SOMETHING about that lid!.

We have been using our reconditioned Venturist for a few months now and are overall very pleased with it. It blend more smoothly and is quieter than the Ninja blender we used previously. It is sometimes hard to scrape all the food out since the blade is not removable but with practice and patience, we’ve gotten better at it.

We had a hard time getting the unit to recognize the 20oz cup the 1st time we tried to use it and had to call Customer Service. They were very helpful and walked us through the process until it was finally working.

I really wanted the Ascent series or this Venturist since you can use the 8oz and 20oz attachments, but in hindsight, do not like the attachments and would’ve gone with a different unit. We don’t have the 8oz cup and I think It’d be too small for us anyway.

I thought we’d use the 20oz a lot but find it really hard to scrape the food off the sides and especially off the skinny bottom. I feel like we are wasting food and it’s just too much trouble overall so we don’t use it at anymore.

Instead, we are looking into the smaller 48oz container to make it easier to blend smaller 1 -1. 5 cup portions. The 64oz container will do those small portions unless they are really thick. The down side is it splatters the food all over the sides and underside of the lid so you have to scrape and blend again once or twice to get it all smooth.

Then of course cleaning up all the splatter takes longer if you don’t want to wash it all down the drain. But, aside from not liking the attachments we are overall very happy, and saved a lot on a reconditioned unit.

I am highly satisfied with my vitamix experience. I was recommended to purchase a Vitamix by a family member. It was the best decision I could have made. I have made frappe, smoothies, juices. Very pleased with the outcome of each.

I will recommend to others.

I bought Drink Machine Two-Speed for home use because I’ve burnt many blenders. The only one that was surviving was Vitamix 3600, but it was time for an upgrade. This simple machine blends like a pro! It makes nut cream, nut milk, smoothie, and everything I need for raw vegan meal.

You might as well hire a baby sitter because you’re going to have to baby sit every smoothie you make. I can’t believe they sell these. They don’t blend unless somebody is using the tamper.

To put the price of this Vitamix into perspective it cost half my monthly take home salary but I would replace it immediately if it was stolen to order. I’ve had it for 3 months now and use it every single day.

I make green juice, protein shakes, detox salad, salad dressings, nut butters and thanks to this amazing machine I have managed to completely turn my diet around from unhealthy to healthy. It can do far more than I use it for.

It’s sturdy and beautiful and sits on my kitchen counter, it’s never put away. I’ve never had any other blender so can’t compare but I can highly recommend this one. I found it helpful to go on YouTube and found a particular site that basically taught me everything I needed to know about the Vitamix and its accessories with lots of recipes that were suited to me.

The two smaller containers are the perfect size for baby food or dressings but are a faff getting the arrows lined up to get them to ‘communicate’ with the Vitamix but there’s information on YouTube on how to deal with that.
