20 Best Vodka For Mules (2022 Updated)

Ive been consistently impressed with the quality and taste of Cutwater’s cocktails but what makes their cocktails great has become a detriment to purchase. All Cutwater’s products are legitimate cocktails, and not wine-based or malt-based flavored beverages.

Using actual spirits makes the product have a crisp and clean taste, but depending on your state-imposed alcohol taxing this can easily make the product astronomically expensive. The classification of 4 cans in Washington state DOUBLES the cost of the product.

At that price I’d encourage anyone to make a far surperior drink on their own, and likely at a much lower cost. Yes, Cutwater cannot control taxation regulations but perhaps lowering the MSRP or (sic) consider a reformulation workaround.

Excellent product but “value” might not measure up for all consumers.

I have never been a beer lover. I’m a wine and hard liquor person instead. I’ve tried all sorts of ‘flavored’ beers that ppl tell me I’ll love and nope. Then Cutwater Vodka Mule came along and the first sip had me saying “not too bad”; the 2nd sip said “hey, I like this”, and the 3rd sip had me grinning and saying “I love it”.

I’ve bought more of these little 4-packs since and have no intention of stopping, YUM. So refreshing, no flavor overwhelms the other, and I swear it calls me by name.

I had previously tried the mai tai and margarita flavors from this brand and couldn’t take more than two, tiny sips of each because they were so, ridiculously sweet. A friend brought this flavor when we went camping over the weekend and, WOW.

These are great. If you’re not a big fan of ginger then I might say pass on these. However , I loved them and love how convenient they are to bring on the go.

I got a chance to drink the Peach and I was amazed and pleasantly surprised at the smooth sweet taste. Other brands of vodka like this are not as tasty. You really don’t need to mix, on the rocks is perfect.

I am hooked. I will try the lemon and cucumber flavors next. I know what I will be drinking this summer.

Not an alcohol consumer. However, this vodka I can drink on the rocks! One word, Smooth. It is conveniently priced and is worth every penny. I have only tried Cucumber Splash and will definitely purchase another! Can’t wait to sample the other flavors.

This vodka is lovely! The taste of Elderflower, White Tea and Honey delicately follow after lemon. It’s light, crisp and refreshing. Add a splash to Club Soda and ice for a Spa Day Spritz.

Probably my favorite straight vodka that I have tried so far! We dod a taste test to compare it to Tito’s and Kirkland in my family and everyone agreed that this one was the best and the smoothest of the three! I personally can’t tell much if a flavor difference between the potato and the grain vodka, but this stuff is fantastic! (If you keep liquor on shelves, this one is a bit too tall because of the neck to fit on a standard liquor shelf).

Didn’t know what to expect as this was my first Mule in a can. I am an avid Moscow Mule drinker so I was uncertain when purchasing, but this far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be trying the other flavors soon!.

These are top on my list for chilling out watching a game or two. I really enjoy the flavors, its, like I made them myself WHOWWWWWWWW.

So I wanted to love this. I drink very seldom and didn’t want to get all of the ingredients to go bad for a Moscow Mule. I probably won’t get this again. It needs fresh lime flavor, as you can’t tell if any lime is present.

While I love bitters in a Moscow Mule (not everywhere does this), it just was way too bitter. It didn’t work for me at all. It tasted like very cheap vodka is used (I’ve never had Fugu vodka, so not sure if that is the issue).

I guess the packaging says it is ginger ale mixed with Vodka, so maybe I expected too much, but it does also say it has a splash of bitters and hint of lime. I’d add more than a hint of lime and not go so heavy on the bitters or improve the ginger ale recipe to be a ginger beer.

I bought this Jan 2021 to make lemon drop martinis for some girlfriends that were all struggling during the pandemic. They still bring them up to this day! Now I’ll only make lemon drops with this!

So. I needed a really good Citrus Vodka for my “perfect” Cosmo. I started off with another brand that was good – but the non-flavored version of that brand typically leaves me with a headache. Then I came across Ketel One Citroen.

I’ve been a Ketel One fan for a long time, so I decided to purchase it and give this a try. WOW! This is a premium liquor for sure. It’s great on it’s own (on the rocks) and it booted the other “Citron” brand right out the door from the Cosmos.

Ketel One is a PREMIUM Vodka – no matter what flavor.

I love Ketel One vodka! It is strong without burning your throat or tasting like you are drinking rubbing alcohol. It went great with any mixer I used, typical vodka mixers. The citroen added a little extra flavor.

I definitely would recommend.

This vodka is so enjoyable! I first tried the cucumber mint Ketel One and now this Citroen is just as tasty. I hope they make a summer fresh fruit flavour with berries! This vodka is highly filtered and made as you can just taste the difference.

I have purchased this Ketel vodka 3 times and have recommended it to my Mom and friends.

I love Ketel one vodka, actually, I love it so much I have an Instagram post asking them to endorse me, haha. ketel one is one of my favorite brands of vodka because of its taste and its alcohol process alone.

I can sip on it straight neat or on the rocks. whenever I am at my girlfriends house her parents always have at least 3 bottles of the Citroen, which maybe even makes a trip to their house even more enjoyable.

Bottom shelf taste..and aftertaste for both my wife and me. We both needed Tums after drinking this rut gut vodka. Stick with what you know…don’t experiment with a handle of this.

I dont usually do reviews but i always like to see how people feel about a product I bought to feel the vibes out and I gotta say , this vodka will not disappoint you. For the record my favorite vodkas are belvedere and new amsterdam based or there smoothness and price points.

Good value for luxury vodka. Tastes different to alternatives (ciroc/effen) . Slight bitter taste : would buy again but ciroc still the favourite

Easily my favourite drink at the moment and VIP bottles provides it at the lowest price.

I always prefer a straight vodka to the flavored ones strictly because of things like alcohol content, and how well they go with coke. I do like watermelon flavor though, so I decided to try this one out.

Rather than coke though, I went with fruit punch Gatorade. Must say, the initial shot I usually take when opening a new bottle, sucked. It tasted like someone dumped a bottle of rubbing alcohol on a piece of watermelon, and I just took a big ole’ bite.

Mixed however, was a different story. I usually have about a 50/50 ratio of alcohol to mixers when making my drinks, so there was still some of the alcohol burn, but the watermelon came through much better.

I don’t know if this is just because it is a Smirnoff product, or because I used too much alcohol, or even because I was drinking it with Gatorade, but there was a lot more burn that when I usually mix drinks with my alcohol.

A little surprising because like most flavored drinks, it is only 35% alcohol (70 proof). I have seen this at most grocery stores, so you should not have a problem finding it. If you do decide to get it, you might want to find a mixer that compliments Watermelon, because I know the Gatorade thing is not for everyone.

Smirnoff Watermelon flavored Vodka is the best! This drink you can drink straight or make an amazing margarita! Me personally I enjoy making my delicious Watermelon Rave. Very simple and yummy! All you’ll need is an Ice tray bag of watermelon Sour Patch kids candies, watermelon Arizona juice and of course some Smirnoff Watermelon Flavored Vodka! Mix your Watermelon Arizona juice and Smirnoff Watermelon Flavored Vodka.

Add this mix to your ice try and drop one or two Watermelon Sour Patch kids candies in each section in the ice tray. Let it freeze for 45 mins – an hour. You are still limited a bit by what types of drink combinations you can make with these flavored vodkas, but good to have in the cabinet for some experimentation in the summer!.

It tastes like coconut and pinneapple vodka. It can be served alone with ice or again, paired with your favorite mixer. My favorite is mixing it with fresh watermelon juice lime! It’s so refreshing and makes you feel like you’re in paradise!! It’s a must try.

I tried that after hearing about it from friends. I was nit disappointed. I tried adding ut to cranberry juice and another time with sprite. Really enjoyed the taste. I would like to try the pineapple flavor next as I hear that is also quite good.

My new “go to†Vodka!! So smooth … So velvety. I think this is the first vodka I’ve ever had made from grapes. It’s WONDERFUL for martini’s, straight up, rocks, or mixed with anything … Just delightful! Doesn’t have a kickback that would make you make a crunch face.

Best vodka by far. The taste is very subtle, but you can tell this unique vodka is made from grapes. The tiny hint of that flavor makes it smooth and refreshing.

I love the peach Ciroc because you can also buy you some simply peach and add about 2 shots with some crushed ice, and it tastes so good. I love all of the Ciroc flavors some of them actually haven’t had, but I love the idea of the different flavors that they carry.

I recommend it to anyone who likes a nice, relaxing, tasty drink. I don’t know if you had 3 kilos before, but it’s good you must try it. Besides, I love the bottle.

I have become one of Ciroc’s dedicated fans since about 2 years ago. I purchased this product because they were out of drink I usually get and I am so glad I gave it a try. It has a great smooth flavor that isn’t overkill and it doesn’t leave an after taste.

You could mix it with sprite or 7 up and it mixes great with the apple flavor. It’s also just as good all by itself without a mix. It’s a little pricey but it is well worth the couple extra dollars. If you enjoy flavored vodka give this a try and become as much of a fan as i am.

I really enjoyed taste of Watermelon and Basil vodka. The flavour of watermelon is delicate , but still quite recognisable in a drink. I would mix this vodka with a soft drink to create a cocktail and this is perfect and refreshing for summer! I really enjoy the taste of it and would buy it again.

I like the bottle design, look very nice. I think it’s a perfect drink to be enjoyed on its own or as a cocktail and would recommend to try it.

I ordered this bottle because the reviews were so good. Such regret. Absolutely loathed the flavours. My husband also found this flavoured vodka unpalatable. Of course, there’s no sending it back because it’s a personal taste thing so we tried our best to dress it up cocktail style but frankly each gulp was like medicine.

I love vodka. For years I hated it, but then felt drawn to it’s “purity” and, after years of attempts, it’s now my go to drink. I have 7 different types of vodka in my liquor cabinet as I write this review.

I say all that to point out that Luksusowa is a stellar vodka. Potato vodkas are superb. They have a rich viscosity and creaminess often unparalleled to grain based vodka. This vodka is no different.

It’s best taken “lightly” chilled. While I don’t mind taking it as a shot, it’s delicate flavors are worth exploring by sipping it. On top of all these elements in favor of Luksusowa, the price point comes along to drive it home.

I can get 1. 75L where I am at for under $25. Incredible. The Polish, the originators of vodka, know how to make a clear spirit.

I believe that potatoes were the items from which vodka was originally made. Luksusowa is very smooth without the jet fuel fumes or “burn” of many popular Russian vodkas. I often drink it straight after chilling it in the freezer.

I also make martinis & mix it with tonic, flavored seltzer, lime mixers, make bloody Mary’s and Mud Slides with it. All great! It has a nice head – mellow but will get you buzzed too. I like the idea of supporting Poland by buying this product.

I wonder if potato vodka is ok for passover since it is not made from grain – probably not officially but in theory yes. The price is in the upper low to moderate range. You cannot go wrong with this vodka.

Chemistry experts tell me, and I know from experience, that it is chemically impossible to get a hangover from potato vodka. I have never got a hangover from any potato vodka. I drank Monopolowa Vodka once and never went back.

After getting turned on to Luksusowa, I have been hooked. It’s much smoother than the most expensive vodkas. It’s usually half the price or less. Locally, I get a handle for $19. 00. I don’t drink it because it’s cheap.

I drink it because it’s just plain smooth. No hangover aftershock ever. Blind side by side taste test against Tito’s, Grey Goose, Chopin or anything else, it wins 75% or more of the time. Everyone is different.
