Chopin Potato Vodka is a full bodied, rich (creamy, even), smooth, and wonderful tasting potato vodka. About ideal, flavor-wise; there is only one other potato vodka I like about the same. I highly recommend this vodka for all who, like me, prefer a spirit that is great by itself in addition to whatever cocktails.

It makes an excellent Martini – just be sure the vermouth doesn’t overpower the vodka*. * I have seen different ideas of what the ideal ratio for a Martini is; experiment if need be!.

Love vodka, give me a decent vodka any day and I’m happy. Has to be a good quality, not overpowering like the cheap supermarket brands that burn the back of your throat. Grey goose is amazing, smooth, super smooth.

It hasn’t got a bitter aftertaste like alot of vodkas. Made with premium wheat and doesn’t contain gluten which most do. Love the bottle, it’s very clean cut. Definitely shows that you don’t need a fancy expensive bottle to show off a brand.

It works well, it would appeal to me on a shelf and it is something that I would buy from how the bottle looks. The vodka is incredible, a brand that I have now changed too. I received it a few days before Christmas, two days before my big Christmas shop so snuck 3 bottles into the trolley.

Highly recommend. Just don’t use cheap mixers. Taste amazing on the rocks but if you do use a mixer then go for premium as you will ruin the taste.

This is unquestionably the standard for vodka, and most people know it. You can definitely taste a difference here while many other brands seem interchangeable. Personally, this is tied with Ketel One as my favorite.

I rarely drink unflavored vodka on it’s own, but Grey Goose makes a picture-perfect dirty martini. It’s smooth, has a great aftertaste, and does not burn. Drink it with martinis, Cape Cods, or straight—any way, Grey Goose is at the top of vodka brands.

If you care that much about ‘country of origins’ for spirits, fine, stick with the Russian brands, but you’re missing out. Taste beats origin every time.

Grey goose is a perfect spirit that you can have on any occasion due to its smooth taste and versatility with any mixer. I like my grey goose on the rocks in the evenings , when I can just sip away and really enjoy and saviour the drink.

Even when I go for a night out this vodka isn’t the cheapest on the bar but it is by far one of the best especially when I don’t get any hangovers or next day regrets from having it. The bottle presentation is very cool aswell with the frosted glass with thr grey goose and French National Flag on it.

I’ll always keep a bottle of this around the house to share with friends as it surprises alotof people how nice this vodka really is , it doesn’t have that over powering strong taste that some other brands have but still packs the alcohol volume %.

Overall this is a great tasting very good quality vodka that I would buy time and time again.

I am so thankful that influenster gave me this cash back campaign. This was my first alcohol campaign through influenster. This is vodka from Iceland and is made from glacial spring water! I do a regular alcohol tasting with my friends and I decided to include this in our November tasting.

People weren’t too excited about the fact that it was vodka but the moment I poured the shots, everyone was impressed with how little they could smell the alcohol. When the 11 of us took our shots, we all were shocked at how smooth and good it was.

None of us really needed a chaser. It was so good that everyone asked for a second shot and we finished the bottle within 40 minutes of opening in it. The best way to describe this kind of vodka is it’s basically the Casamigos of vodka.

Reyka Icelandic vodka, made from volcanically filtered glacial water, is a beautifully smooth vodka. It’s crisp, clean, and goes down with zero burn. I tried it in a Moscow Mule and in a Screwdriver; both were, in a word, flawless.

It was also just as great neat, straight from the freezer, which (in my humble opinion) is the mark of a genuinely GOOD vodka. Perhaps the most surprising thing about this one was the price. This is a vodka that easily deserves a place on the top shelf, while carrying a price tag of just $19 for a 750mL bottle.

I’m normally one to reach for Tito’s, but I could see myself buying this instead and regretting nothing. It’s pure perfection.

I waited few days, till I tried this vodka on Saturday, with my friends. We are from Russia, drinking a lot of vodka. I wanna say it’s good vodka, most time we are drinking grey goose, but this vodka actually also so good, smooth, I think you could make good cocktails.

I tasted grain, maybe there also a little wheat, because I tasted wheat. My friends they made cocktails Reyka+Benedictine it’s so good combination, I like it. Will finish it next time, maybe will add additional review.

Love Ketel one vodka! So smooth! I love a good vodka and cranberry or as my husband would say I like a splash of cranberry with my vodka. Haha. This is one of my go to vodka choices. I absolutely love how “clean” tasting it is.

Very specific mixed drinks. Espresso Martini or Bloody Mary are the two cocktails I might make or order out of Vodka given the right circumstances. However I always have Ketel One on hand. People seem to love it.

I have had BAD vodka, and Ketel One certainly is not that. It’s good enough to keep around for friends and family that like the spirit.

A very good, smooth drinking vodka. Great for martinis. You can find some nice small batch local stuff for similar prices, and it’s nice to support local, but if some of my local favs are sold out I’ll definitely grab this.

Not my FAVOURITE but it’s very good. Just don’t waste it in a Caesar. That’s what Smirnoff is for.

Total Wine asked me to review Pinnacle Vodka. I discovered it several years go on the advice of a liquor sales professional. Pinnacle comes from France and is distilled from barley – distilled five times.

They filter it much more than many big names such as Grey Goose, and as a result it is smoother. It comes in 1. 75 liter plastic jugs. It generally is on a bottom shelf at your store – I usually buy four jugs at a time and pour it, as needed, into another smaller bottle that we keep in the freezer.

A few years ago Pinnacle offered small taster bottles with their flavors – not my favorite at all. I usually drink it mixed with grapefruit juice, orange juice, or a no-sugar added cranberry-apple juice from the local grocery store.

Great for mixing almost any vodka drink. From Moscow Mules to Vodka Tonics this tastes just fine! I would probably opt for something else when making Vodka Martinis or sipping, but for everything mixed, this is good stuff.

No burn at all or cheap taste/tinge to it! Def agree with most of the other posts here- *equal to or even better as many if not most of the A+ list brand vodkas. Most which are double or even triple the price! I’m a bit of a vodka elite since it’s pretty much by primary drink of choice (for like 15+ years).

For in/around $16 possibly the best deal in the house! Even when the ‘pricier’ brands go on sale and close to the same price, I still buy this one. 9-9. 5 out of 10 (for something in this price range)!.

I’ve gone through the vodka ranks and have settled on a mix of Skyy and SVEDKA vodka. I all depends on what the delivery company can bring on a given day. SVEDKA is actually a good vodka at a decent price.

I pay about $22-24 per 1. 75 L bottle at local stores. It is basically flavorless and is endorsed by my sister who is a former bartender. I drink this SVEDKA vodka with coconut seltzer or other flavored seltzers.

It is great for that and I also use it for some cooking like penne al vodka or green beans with lemon vodka cream sauce. I definitely recommend SVEDKA to those looking for a reasonably priced vodka that is easy to find.

I came up here to read reviews and the last 10-15 reviews are literally talking abt the cap! Lol So my husband opens it while I’m reading reviews and the silver “outer” part of the cap immediately comes off.

Then he had to twist the white “inner” part of the cap to actually get the whole thing off. it should have just came off together with the twist. Weird, yes but there was no difficulty. Hopefully they go ahead and change the cap regardless to improve customer satisfaction.

If you are making mixed drinks with Vodka – this should be your brand. You have to go a lot more expensive to get a better vodka than this one, and that wouldn’t make sense unless you’re making martinis or doing shots.

This vodka is super clean and adds the right flavor to any mixed drink. Any cheaper and you’re going to get that bitter taste in your drink ( and probably the hangover to boot) – any more expensive and you’re wasting your money.

I had never even heard of Georgi vodka before I made this purchase. It is actually a pretty good vodka for the price.

Inexpensive, drinkable, and good as a mixer. Not a substitute for GreyGoose on the rocks.

We are vodka junkies and have tried them all. We have several different bottles for different occasions, but when it is just my wife of nearly forty years (who I still actually like) and I toasting a special occasion.

it doesn’t get any better than an Elit light-dirty martini with a blue cheese stuffed olive or two. Geez. almost water it is such a clean taste. When we are out, if the bar has it, we don’t risk the bartender screwing up the dirty.

and just get it over rocks with a couple of olives. The second drink will probably be something else, just to keep from wasting expensive Elit. but hard pressed to ever remember tasting better. Certainly some other top-flight options that aren’t a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but if you are looking for a perfect pour.

This is one of the best vodkas for making martinis, you can feel the quality of the vodka when you drink it. The only better vodkas out there are more expensive, this is my daily drinking vodka, once you try it you won’t ever go back to the cheap stuff again! Wife loves it also, thanks to the bartender at Craftsteak at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for introducing me to this many years ago.

Plus this is a really decent price for this vodka, always have a great experience with Total Wines.

They had to drop the price because of the great, smooth, clean taste of Dan Akroyd’s Crystalhead vodka. I drink Russian beluga on a regular basis with Stoli Gold a close second. But when I want super smooth it’s Crystalhead with Stoli Elit a close second.

Best ciroc bottle flavor !! It’s very smooth and flavorful, tastes so much like passion fruit and the alcohol is not over powering the fruity taste. Mixes perfectly with passionfruit flavored juice/beverage, preferably welches passionfruit juice.

Don’t just buy one bottle buy three !! You won’t regret it, i promise !!.

I am a lover of Ciroc. The taste is always smooth. It’s never harsh, but this new flavor is deceptively sneaky. You can’t taste the alcohol. It just compliments whatever you’re mixing it with. My favorite was Summer Citrus, but move over Passion is now first place.

I hope it’s not seasonal.

Love the flavors created in this beautiful bottle! I could drink this with Perrier or another sparkling soda water and a touch of lemon or lime Anytime! Keep it in the freezer if you can, then skip the ice cubes if your soda is cold! YUM! Or as a shot? YES!.

I downloaded the oddly-named “400 Vodka Absolut Cocktails” because it was a freebie, and I thought it would be handy to have an ebook of drink recipes for those occasions when I want to destroy my liver in some new and exotic way.

I also downloaded “488 Bacardi Rum Based Cocktails,” by the same author (the improbably-named “Lev Well”), at the same time. Both books follow exactly the same format, so my comments apply equally to both.

First off, credit where credit is due: the books do contain the promised drink recipes. However, all the recipes are thrown together without pagination (as though all were typed on one, continuous roll of paper), which makes searching a big pain.

You see, there’s no table of contents, so jumping to a drink recipe is impossible. At least the recipes are in alphabetical order, but that’s of little comfort if the name of the recipe you’re looking for begins with a letter near the end of the alphabet.

The bottom line: expect to do a LOT of scrolling (and if you can’t remember the name of the drink you’re looking for, heaven help you). It seems to me that it would have easy to provide a table of contents with links (the way the vast majority of Kindle books do) to allow the reader to jump directly to their desired recipe.

An ordinary book (remember those?) wouldn’t suffer from this problem, so this is one instance when an ebook doesn’t trump its paper equivalent. The all-important recipes are there, of course, so I can’t say these books are a complete misfire – only that at three bucks a throw, without so much as a table of contents or an introductory paragraph, they’re not a great value.

If Mr. or Ms. “Well” would only revise them to provide some means of navigation, I would heartily recommend them – but until then I think they would be more realistically priced at 99 cents.

Absolut pears actually tastes like pears. Not a cartoony, sugared up version of pear syrup, but like a real, legit, euclidean pear. A lot of vodka manufacturers have jumped on the trend of introducing extremely sweet flavored varieties of their drink, including cake, whipped cream, caramel, salty watermelon, and most bewilderingly, spicy pepper and sriracha.

Ostensibly, their sweetness, ridiculous flavors, and easy to drink qualities are directly aimed at underaged drinkers. That’s not to say all of these drinks are bad, as some of them are actually quite enjoyable, but they’re the reason Absolut Pears is so refreshing.

It’s not sweet, not neon colored, and utilizes a venerable base vodka. It tastes like a mature refinement of what flavored vodka should be: a mostly neutral drink, seemingly infused with something, thus presenting a subtle but enjoyable flavor.

Pears don’t dominate the vodka, but instead enhance it.

I really LOVE Absolut Pears Vodka. It is my favorite flavor of Absolut. I especially enjoy it with fresh pears cut up in it, or 100% pear or pineapple juice. It never gives me a hangover or leaves me feeling groggy the morning after.

It’s such a smooth drink. I wish the larger size bottle was sold in my area, but I purchase it whenever I’m in that part of town where they sell the bigger bottle.

Texas knows vodka! Nue vodka is my new vodka and soda choice. I like that it’s 7x distilled, very smooth as a martini, and great value half the price of Tito’s so it’s like getting a 2 for 1 deal!

Great price, terrible quality. Worth it only if you physically don’t have more than 10usd to spend. Will get you drunk, but you won’t enjoy the process.

Similar to the other reviewer, I was (and still am) a Tito’s drinker. I was going to buy some and the Nue people were there with samples. Very reminiscent of Tito’s and at a much lower price point. I’m not sure what the base grain is but the 6 times distilled (like my other choice) must have a lot to do with the smoothness.

Never ever ever buy this. It is literally the most vile and noxious thing to be put in a bottle and sold as booze since the methanol and gasoline laced stuff from prohibition. In all my years of being a drunk and drinking cheap booze I have never tasted anything worse.

It stands alone in its own class apart from rot-gut, it is nuclear-gut, genocide-gut and I’m not even being facetious.

Excellent. Tried for first time. This is a wheat vodka, good price. I mixed with diet tonic. Delicious. A wise purchase.

Had it in a coke, orange juice and seltzer. Blended with all of them and got it a 1.75L for $23. Can’t say enough good things. My go to vodka now for sure.

Enjoyed my purchase. Price level about same as other quality Vodkas. I always buy best value for premium Vodkas. Does not always have to be Tito, Or Monkeys. Key is price at this level. Will buy Burnett’s or similar based on deal.

Tonic makes them all tase good.

I use it mainly as a mixer excellent vodka very smooth prefer it over Tito‘s and the Costco American vodka a little pricey usually the same price as Tito’s I do like the label it’s a little funky Florida I’m glad to see that they’re making quality vodka and not only quality rum in Florida.

I did have it originally when it came out and it had a slightly better aftertaste they should look into that, As I read they switched production to a new facility due to demand.

We found this fabulous vodka when we were in Florida. Love it more than Grey Goose or Tito. Makes a great martini and anything else you want. And it’s gluten free. The only problem is that we are back in NH and can’t get it here so we have to go to Total Wine in Massachusetts.

Nevertheless, it’s worth the drive.

I have tried a few of the different Absolute Vodka flavours before, but decided to give the watermelon a go, as it sounded refreshing and summery. For me, having tried flavours to vodka, I wouldn’t go back to the original “non flavoured” again.

The watermelon was really nice and easy drinking. Not an overpowering taste. I tried it with tonic water, a slice of lime and ice. Lovey. I can recommend this.

Delighted to have found this vodka. The distinctive lime flavour gives a refreshing, yet smooth and zingy taste which really compliments the vodka. There is a slight sweetness from the natural lime flavour which is fresh and citrusy.

Perfect with mixers or in a cocktail.

Because it is clear, I expected an artificial tasting watermelon flavour. I was pleasantly surprised to find it has a natural infusion-style flavour. I tried it with lemonade but I feel that the subtle watermelon flavour was drowned out.

I like it best mixed with club soda, a splash of juice and cucumber and mint. A nice refreshing choice for a warm summers day. Definitely worth a try.

Is it possible to get a higher star rating? Because I would definitely give this a higher rating. Now I’m no wine connoisseur, but rosé is by far the best type of wine in my opinion, no matter the time of day, you give me a glass of rosé, you betcha that’s going down the hatch.

When I saw this in store I couldn’t wait to get home and open this bad boy open. You could definitely taste the vodka but wasn’t too overwhelming that you couldn’t taste the rosé. If you happen to find a couple empty bottles of the Svedka rosé vodka bottles in a trash can, just know I may or may not have had something to do with that.

This vodka beverage is quite good. It adds a little something extra to cocktails. I’m not much of a wine drinker, and while this is a rose vodka beverage I don’t find it has too much of a wine taste.

It’s just a little extra. I like it mixed with peach ice tea and ice. I found it smooth enough to drink over ice although that’s not my usual go to (I just tried it before mixing). One thing to note is that it will freeze if you put it in the freezer- so be careful of that since the bottle is glass.

I LOVE this vodka!! Rosè has become a growing trend and I was really excited when I saw this in the store. It is very smooth and has a true Rosè flavor. Like all Svedka vodkas, it is very smooth. Here in PA, Svedka is middle shelf priced so I have no issue with the cost.

As far as drinking it goes, it is delicious straight up with without ice. It also mixes spectacularly with certain flavored sparkling water. I will definitely buy this again.

My son answered Sobieski when I asked if he knew any good vodkas at a reasonable price. Since I had been exploring other liquor types at the time, I had forgotten about vodka for a long period of time.

I bought the 1. 75 liter on sale for $16. 95 and thought how good could it be for such a good price. The lack of a cheap watered down grain alcohol flavor was immediately noticed and the taste was unexpectedly wonderful.

You owe it to yourself to sample Sobieski for yourself to taste a truly great affordable vodka that most people know nothing about.

The best low budget vodka out there. Its the only kind I drink now. It tastes great, mixes great, and gives me a good fast buzz with no hangover. I’m 37 so hangovers come from most alcohols these days, I cant drink like I used to without paying for it.

This vodka though doesn’t cause bad hangovers for me, its awesome.

One of my favourite vodkas. Its smooth and clean, with a slightly stronger flavour. The price is good – its on sale often at the LCBO or they have bonus airmiles offers. The bottle is nice, but i prefer the older bottle shape and label that they have pictured here more than the new design they just came out with.

Its much more plain. I keep going back to this one though because I know its good straight or mixed with whatever.

This Raspberri Vodka is really good. Fantastic taste without being too sweet, I tried it neat first and it had a nice taste and was smooth drinking. After this I tried with Ginger Ale over Ice and this was really tasty and refreshing.

Absolut Raspberri is versatile enough to be included in many cocktails and I’m going to explore making a Raspberri Martini. I really enjoyed this, would strongly recommend and will buy again. I suppose I’ll have to work my way through the rest of the flavours now.

I can recommend Absolut vodka- a definite favourite. But I had expected the raspberry flavour to be more obvious. It’s personal taste, but I want more than a hint when I’m going for a flavoured drink.

In future, I personally would buy plain Absolut and add a quality cordial to taste.

Tried a few of these vodkas now and this one is another summer winner. A really good Quality vodka with an intense raspberry aroma and perfectly balanced flavour. Some great cocktail suggestions on their website, but just served with tonic or lemonade with a few raspberries and lots of ice works for me.

Another favourite is the Raspberry Vodka Mojito with mint leaves or basil. Perfect summer drink.

Based on the good reviews I went ahead and tried it. I would put this in the same taste category as New Amsterdam. It’s somewhat smooth. But it leaves behind a cheap vodka aftertaste. I got a headache after drinking it, and woke up with a headache.

But at only 10. 99, it’s okay for the price. If you plan on trying this, I recommend taking a pain killer beforehand. Mix with lemon or something sour to help with the aftertaste.

Veil Vodka, like Tito’s, is made in America. You may wonder why this is relevant. Liquor is made from ‘grain’, and in the case of vodka, it is made with wheat grain. Wheat grown in other countries has a different taste, for instance some of France’s wheat has a very ‘peppery’ flavor that some perceive as ‘strong’.

Back to Veil, made with American wheat and distilled five times (the more times distilled the smoother the flavor), it lets the flavor of your cocktail shine through – smooth like silk. Find it. Buy it.

We have been buying Veil vodka for over 5 years. We either drink on the rocks or a martini. The flavor is light and goes down smoothly. On top of that it sells for $20. You can’t beat the price with the same great taste!.

I am embarrassed to say that I chose this brand because of the ratings, not to drink, but rather to make vanilla. I have never been a vodka drinker…. till now. When I opened the bottle and took a tiny sip, wow!! This was nothing like I had ever tasted with any vodka before.

I have previously heard ppl talking about this brand of vodka but once I tried this myself, I found that it surprisingly had a wonderful taste for the low cost. Most vodka that is reasonably priced taste terrible.
