20 Best Volleyball Knee Brace (2022 Updated)

My daughter loves these pads! She said they are so comfortable but she was disappointed that they ripped within 3 weeks. Not sure that maybe this pair was a bad batch? So we are going to return them and get new ones and give them one more try.

She refuses to get others ones since she says they are so comfortable! She is 13 very petite weights 90 lbs and went with size M. Fingers crossed this other pair lasts!! Giving it 3 stars since they are the most comfortable pads out there.

These hooks are stout, strong and serious. The unweighted ones are Heavy enough to provide the keel effect to soft plastic eels and they cast well, yet light enough to not act as a jig head and weigh the front down.

Great for calmer water from the shore.

I bought these about 2 weeks ago and have worn them for about 5 hours total so far. I have worn many knee-pads playing indoor volleyball for most of my life and i absolutely love these! There is more than adequate padding as there is some side padding to cover the right and left on the knee cap area.

I don’t think I would have thought of this feature as a need when I was playing in high school and super healthy at age 16. But now at age 30, this side padding is a game changer. Not only do I feel protected if I take a less than graceful dive for a ball but the side padding also gives more support for knees in the way that a brace would provide.

I highly recommend these for more middle-aged athletes that bodies could use a bit of extra support to keep from injuries. I would have loved these at 16 too but I don’t think I would have needed the side padding as much as I do now.

My granddaughter Lexi excels st virtually everything! She is in sixth grade and trying out for volleyball. I got her these and the elbow pads to go with them. Works for her skateboarding too

After falling on one of my knees several times over the years, i wanted to protect it as best as I could. Feel safer after wearing these pads only a couple of times. The padding has the right amount of thickness to protect.

You don’t have play volleyball to wear them.

Favorite knee pads ! Small so it’s comfortable. I played libero so I always on the floor these definitely protected my knees and I wouldn’t have to worry about getting hurt.

I’ve played kickball now, for 11 years. I’ve had more than my share of injuries from torn Achilles, to strained muscles, sprained ankles and finally, all the cartilage is gone from both knees. My knees has been the reason for my “retiring” three times over the last four years.

I didn’t think a knee brace could help the way my bone slides across each other and brings extensive pain along with a limp. But last Tuesday in practice, one of the girls let me wear her knew brace.

The difference was astounding. I went out and bought this one, though not like same one that she had purchased at another retailer. Still, I made sure to get Level 3 support. Yesterday I pitched two games and also go on base with 2 RKI’s and was floored.

This brace stabilized my knee and I had no issues, no pain and felt like my old self. Even today, though I left it at home, I’m at work walking better than I have in weeks. Definitely worth every penny and then some.

I will be buying another one for my right leg just in case.

I tore the meniscus on the inside of my left knee. This was confirmed by an MRI. I had originally bought a brace at a department store, but it did not give me the support I needed and was uncomfortable.

After doing my research, I bought this brace. It was a huge improvement. Very comfortable and a lot of support. I also felt that I had more knee bending flexibility. I needed to wear the brace for my job and keep it on for extended periods.

After wearing it for 12 hours straight the first time, there were a couple of spots that the skin was starting to get sore. I ended up buying a simple compression sleeve that I put on first then put the McDavid brace on over it.

After that, 12 hours was no problem. Very comfortable and a LOT LESS stress on my knee. This brace really helped me continue to do my job. My knee is slowly healing, and I feel that this brace has helped with that process.

I had to exchange for a larger size. I’m glad I did because I now have complete control over the fit and my knee feels much more supported with this proper fit. I’m new to the world of knee braces and I’m trying them to narrow down my issue so this is the 3rd brand I’ve tried and by far it’s the best.

I especially like that it fastens in the front. Back fastening-braces make it difficult to get a proper level of comfort and they tend to pinch or the velcro scratches if it’s not attached perfectly, which is hard to do while working behind your knee! I’m really happy with this model, the construction is sturdy and it fastens quickly and comfortably.

I think my measurement was 17″ or 17. 5″ in diameter and 2xl fits beautifully.

This is incredible! I’ve had several other elastic type knee braces. However, this is now my FAVORITE knee braces! Bar none! This is super supportive, is actually “cool” as they breathe well, and I’ve had it for a little over a week.

It fits so well! I HIGHLY recommend.

This brace is amazing. Although it only came as a single brace it has kept my knees from folding in when squatting. The material for this is great as it tightens my legs and doesn’t let moisture sink or slip with sweat.

I’ve been having knee issues at the gym. Getting older. This sleeve really works great and provides me with the support I need to exercise each day. One thing I like about it is that it is not too bulky.

Very comfortable and lightweight.

After 6 years of volleyball, I developed knee pain in my left knee. Trying many different trainings/strengthening and other knee compression sleeve and braces from other sports stores. I finally decided it was time to purchase something we see all pro athletes wear.

After several weeks of wear, I have noticed very little to no pain in my left knee. The sports knee support is very comfortable to wear for long sessions fo training (up to 2hrs). I highly recommend this anyone athlete dealing with knee pain.

The knee support is kind of doing the job and holding everything together while I strengthen my upper leg muscles again. It’s hard to pull on, though, and get that little knee cap donut in the right place.

AND taking it off is impossible after a workout when I’m sweaty. They ONLY way to do it is pull it inside out, which it tells you not to do. I have high riding knee caps and so I have to pull it up extra high and so I have muffin tops which are quite embarrassing.

When they are particularly bad I wear a running skort to cover them (especially after a friend made quite an unkind comment). It’s early days to know if this is going to do the job. I did use the online sizing guide and app but I think it may have pointed me to a size too small.

But they are so expensive, the thought of buying 2 more in the next size up does not thrill me.

Purchased to use for Taekwondo training. I have been using Elastoplast for the past 5 years due to them being more economical which did the job more or less but after using Bauerfeind I would never use anything else again.

Very happy, I had a niggling knee issue that has been there for a year now and I’ve always aggravated it more by training. After using the Bauerfeind knee brace I have found that my knee has actually healed whilst training and I am getting less and less pain from it.

Should have bit the bullet a lot sooner in hindsight.

My daughter used these at volleyball mini camp today. She said they were comfortable and not hot. She also said they protected her knees well. This is her first volleyball experience so that says a lot.

I purchased this knee brace in a medium and measured the correct width of my knee, however the springs on the side were digging in my skin. I emailed customer service and they replied 4 hours later stating they would gladly replace at no fee the brace for a size large.

This brace is incredibly comfortable and holds my knee in place while playing pickleball! I highly recommend any brace from this company!.

It’s an incredible products. My knee goes out sometimes for five times a day, and with that knee brace I can walk without My brace, It is incredibly comfortable I would not hesitate to buy it again

I have varicose eczema which makes my legs so very itchy over last year I have tried so many creams and lotions and nothing has helped till I started using Eurex cream it really does stop the itch with a few minutes.

I recently developed some (relatively minor) knee issues, inflammation, soreness, etc. Being in my late 40s and having beat up my knees over the decades with ice hockey and skateboarding, they’ve finally gotten angry.

I tried a variety of compression sleeves for activities and recovery. Most of them are either too loose, uncomfortable or more importantly, slip constantly. The Old Bones sleeves are awesome! They have an excellent amount of compression and stay put while playing hockey (as a goalie) and at the gym, hikes, etc.

I ordered both L and M to test out the level of compression. I’m exchanging the L for more Ms and the process couldn’t have been easier. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing compression gear.

I’ll definitely be purchasing more products from OBT.

I ordered this knee compression bundle after I lost my older knee brace which was just a cheap-o Walmart brand and the difference is night and day. I went almost two weeks without wearing any kind of support and my knee was absolutely killing me.

I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week and just after wearing the Old Bones Therapy knee compression sleeve for two days my knee is feeling so much better. I only wish I knew of Old Bones Therapy before.

I had questions about the product and Nicole was very quick to respond and shipping was fast. I highly recommend this knee compression sleeve to anybody looking for one. You will not be disappointed.

Before I write a review I wanted to address my issues here. After cutting the package and the plastic T tie there was still fabric missing from the center. It looks like it was snagged when assembled.

Also I may have been mistaken and needed the hinged braces since the pull over sleeves do not provide my arthritic knees any support. The donut center moves below my knee cap and does not provide the constant compression support my knees require when ridding or jogging.

I have a $10 pair of slip on knee supports that provide more compression than these. I do admit they do not slide down my leg and that is a plus! I hate to leave bad reviews and was hoping these were as good as advertised and reviewed but I guess to each their own and these did not provide the relief I was hoping for.

Very comfortable fit. Give a nice slide. Good shock absorption. Like the feel of them. Though I’m not sure how long they will last. The material feels lightweight so I’m afraid they might not be as sturdy as my old kneepads.

Gel pad fully circumferences the knee well, the knee pad fits tightly and doesn’t move too much. It will loosen a bit over a time if you are worried that it is too tight, which is a good thing. The padding itself is very impact absorbing – I use them for wrestling which can be very hard on the knees, and keeps its cushioning over time.

Excellent product. Well made and good fit around knee. Protects from impact on hard turf during cricket training and fielding practice. Would certainly recommend.

Brace fits lovely on my thick thighs. Hard to find one that is built for someone that doesn’t have an athletic build but this was perfect! My only flaw with the brace is where the Velcro meets, it rolls slightly and scratches the back of my knee.

Just used some under tape there and it’s stopped it straight away.

I ordered these to use to help my knees feel more capable for my job as a food service cdl driver the ramp was taking its toll on my knees. Then I decided to try them out on leg day and they turned out being awesome for squatting.

It gave my knees the support they needed enough for my to try 600! My knees felt great with zero pain. I love them.

This product was a lifesaver. Recent knee surgery and had plans to go out of town to a music festival. Never would have survived all the hours on my feet. Brace from physician is total garbage compared to this.

Immediately was blown away at how nice it felt. like a second skin and very fluid with bending the knee. very nice how easily it is to put it on and take it off. couldn’t be more impressed.

This is my third pair and they’re pretty decent; I’m a medium size male and so they fit snug but comfortably. They certainly give me excellent protection for the game I play. Their durability is hard for me to judge because of the 2 pairs that I purchased at the same time about a year or two back, one wore out and got too loose to stay up on my knees about 10 months in, and the other is still going strong.

I’ll see how this 3rd pair wears but so far it looks and feels reasonably durable.

Oustanding quality and dollar value. Although not used for volleyball, I purcahsed for use by my wife when kneeling doing house work and she found the pads to be great in addition to our like of the color pink.

Not sure about volleyball but highly recommended for other uses.

My daughter started in the volleyball team and she asked me to get a knee pads. so. I went to ebay She loves the pink but mostly of all is how soft she feels the ground when she fells(thats what she says).

I bought 2 of them , the plastic broke after wearing it for 5 days! Not impressed, I would like it to be replaced!

Prior to purchasing this knee brace I was taking ibuprofen every night because I would wake with a deep aching in my knee. I tore medial and lateral cartilage in my knee about 5yrs ago and refused surgery, long story.

Since using this brace when I’m out and about I no longer suffer this pain at night. I highly recommend thus brace and I intend to get one for my ankle as my foot drops unexpectedly which has caused me to fall twie recently.

No particular injury but my knee just didn’t feel stable playing Ozztag and going for occasional local runs. It was on the pricey side compared with the usual pharmacy stuff i’ve tried before but it actually works! Do yourself a favour and pay that little more – you wont look back or need to buy a different one.

Forgot to mention it didn’t slip, cut in at all or feel like my knee was about the combust like the usual cheapies with the heat. It just fit and works!.

It’s really helping me to get more confident standing and walking. I experienced getting a Shaetzker (I think that’s what it’s called) fracture, where I was knocked down by a large dog barreling through my legs.

Fractured Tibia and Fibia. I have a metal plate and some screws in my lower leg now and an odd shaped what used to be my knee. I will be getting a knee support for my other leg as I favour it and I’m starting to feel the strain.

We originally ordered the Franklin knee pads and they were way too big. We returned them and got these instead and they fit perfect and my daughter loves them. She likes that they are longer and really protect her knees well.

She wears a youth size 16 and has very muscular thighs. The size small fit her great.

This compression knee support is the highest quality make and construction of any comparative support out there. ( believe me- I’ve spent a fortune trying them!) This product’s design is outstanding, stablelizing my full right knee prosthesis to an extent that I can now walk without limping.

I have tried many knee compression ranging from cheapo eBay/Amazon to mcdavid and shock doctor, I have to say stumbling onto bauerfiend was the best accident ever! These compression offers me full range of support and does not slip, even with skins! I wholeheartedly endorse this brand and it’s product!.

My son has recently developed OSgood Slatters as a Football Goalie in the NPL. I bought these knee supports and they keep his knees stable and fairly rigid to support his recovery through physio and light training.

Great product and he will use these as an injury preventative in future also!.

I measured my leg properly 3 times and even made sure with 3 other people I ordered the correct price, however when I ordered it, it was so tight I couldn’t even put it over my foot to get to my knee.

Cheaper compared to other brands, but provides same quality and comfort of the leading brands. Bought 1 for myself last year and recommended to my team. Now we are using same knee pads every game.
