20 Best Volleyball Training Equipment (2022 Updated)

I purchased this product for my daughter who is a first year volleyball player. She is in 7th grade. I have given this product a 3 star because it is a great idea and useful but I’d like for it to have a few better options.

One, the length of the strap that you place the volleyball into could be longer. Two, I’d like to see a better system for attaching the device to my daughter’s waist. She has a thin waist and the strap to wrap around her waist is a bit large.

Finally, I would warn users to be careful when they first use this product. If the user does not adjust the strap holding the volleyball to the correct length then they will find themselves getting struck in the facial area when the ball snaps back towards them.

My daughter uses this inside and out. It’s great for winter when they can’t get out as long as you have enough space. She may not be able to throw it as high as when she is outside, but practice the correct arm motion and making good connection is still important for young players.

Even though she plays three sports, she still finds time for electronics and this is another diversion from the electronics. :).

We tossed it up and it doesn’t go high enough for an overhead serve. We attached a shoe string to make it two to three feet longer. This helps a lot but also makes it heavier. It is strange with the attached string when hitting but it does give you multiple serves back and back and back.

That works but not the greatest tool in my opiinion. probably why we haven’t used it again but for the first day we got it.

The item looks just like the picture. It’s tall if you use all the poles which is good for practicing setting. It was easy to put together but I put a sand bag on the base to keep it from moving or falling over.

That’s the only thing I would say is the bottom is not weighted on its own. very good for what we are practicing.

I bought one for my daughters volleyball team and it works great. They can practice bumping, setting and spiking with it. It is very well constructed with a metal base and metal ring. I like how it adjusts to different heights and angles.

It is a nice product. My daughter likes it. I give it 4 stars because the the instruction does not exactly match the parts and I have to spent some time to figure out an alternative way to do it.

This ball may seem on the surface of it to be good value, it looks like a match ball but it is a quarter of the price. However, you would be much better off buying a cheaper beach volleyball for one massive reason.

It would actually have padding. This ball is completely rock hard, it may be durable but trying to dig with it is incredibly painful and spiking with it is equally frustrating. I’m not a setter but my friend who is also commented that its difficult to get off a good set with it.

To sum up don’t be fooled by the allure of a cheap match ball, there are cheaper options that may not seem as official but will actually be usable.

If you kow volleyball, the brand Mikasa has the best volleyball in the market. I have used the Mikasa volleyball when they are still the white ones, then the Mikasa MVA200. Then this Mikasa V200W, always a great improvement from the previous generation.

Great volleyball, nothing can be compared to it. Love it.

I bought this ball several months ago and have been hoping that it will wear in or something, but it hasn’t. It’s exceedingly hard (pumped up to less than official pressure), really hurts to dig, and doesn’t bounce much at all (e.

Congratulations you found it. The absolute best beginner ball on the market at the best price. I have tried Molten and Mikasa, neither has the feel and play as that of the Tachikara Volley lite. It has become the only ball I buy for my team to practice and play their matches with.

Ideal for ages 6-12 y/o. 14U goes to the NFHS regulation size and weight. This ball will last you as long as you take care of it bar a manufacture defect, though I have yet to come across one myself.

Your player gets a wide selection of colors to choose from to match his/her teams colors or just go good ol plain white. Rest assure that you made the right choice with this ball.

If you have a youngster starting out in volleyball, this is the ball to get. Don’t waste your money on other types of balls as this ball is plenty soft and it’s the ball kids 6th grade and younger use in club ball play.

Also, it makes for an easier transition to a standard ball once they hit 7th grade. Too many parents buy their children these sand balls and rubber balls — don’t do it. If you watch the prices of this ball, it varies greatly almost by the week, as long as you don’t mind what color you get.

This is a high quality, good-looking, indoor volleyball that is soft to the touch. It’s also my school colors, which brings back good memories.

While we were surprised to open it up and find it deflated (you do have to air it up on your own so be sure and have a hand pump handy) we LOVE this volleyball. We were shopping at our local athletic store and stopped dead at the price they were asking for the EXACT SAME BALL.

Always check Walmart people! They can’t be beat on price, and it’s the same ball. we’re talking $15 difference in price.

Bought for a Volleyball fanatic! This was the one and only volleyball in the shop on the day that I went to buy my teen son a volleyball. and, despite the rather hefty price tag, it certainly did not disappoint! Super bouncy, perfect weight, great balance.

I am a high school girls volleyball coach and I bought this trainer earlier this year. I really like how it was designed to adjust to different heights as well as the hoop adjusts to different angles.

Paid $199 for this volleyball set. Where to begin? The guy lines are too thin and weak. There were no specific instructions on how to set the tension. When I looked it up online, I was even more disappointed to discover that the set I received had thinner lines and no plastic tension bar.

The ground stakes are also too flimsy, bending and not thick enough. They ended up bending with just the slightest pushing. I was expecting to get a a high quality set for $200, but instead received this.

If I were to assess an accurate price, I would price this at half of what I paid. Has the quality of a $99 set.

Great volleyball set overall. The net and poles are high quality. The anchor ropes and rings did not hold tension so I replaced them with a pack of 4 500-lb tie downs. That makes for faster setup and better net tension.

My four star review is based on my $90 purchase price. Not worth $199 to $300-plus often seen. The Spectrum Classic or 2000 would be a better set, but under $100 the Tournament 1000 is a good deal.

Bought this to put up at our vacation home to keep everyone occupied. It was easy to set up in about 30 minutes. (A little bit of confusion with set-up directions for anchoring net, but we figured it out.

) Net stayed up for 9 days with no sagging or adjustment needed. Great height for teenagers/young adults. Net was very wide and we had to shorten it to fit in the area we were using, so just wound net around pole until we had desired width.

We played volleyball and badminton. Took it down and packed it into the carry bag in just a few minutes. Definitely happy with this purchase and lots of positive feedback from the kids!.

We purchased this volleyball about two months ago and the soft touch feel has stayed even though this ball has been left outside and in wet weather. The ball still looks brand new. Highly recommend.

When I first arrived at my porch, thr packing was awful, the box was completely runied. And when I pumped up the ball (with a moist needle) I could easily hear air coming out of it. And after 30 minutes the ball would become unplayable because it’s too flat, so I had to pump it up again.

I tried many solutions, but none worked. Now I have a faulty volleyball. Would bot not reccomend at all.
