11 Best Volunteer Firefighter Lights (2022 Updated)

It looks just like the pictures. We have been using this light for over 10 years and we love them. You cannot go wrong with Streamlight since they have a lifetime warranty. We ordered some cheaper lights a couple of years ago, 2 of them did not work right out of the box.

Since they had been sitting in inventory for 2 years the company said the warranty had expired. Only reputable companies from now on.

The light is awesome, but be prepared for a fight to get the back clipped back in place once the batteries are installed. You literally have to push the light as hard as you can against an unyielding hard vertical surface to get the room for the clip to snap back in place.

Other than that, the light is very durable and very bright. I especially like the rear blue light so that you can be seen by your following mates in smoke.

I’ve used this a few times since purchase. it works well. hoping the material and construction are as durable as they seem to be. it is rather nice looking, feels solid. the light is plenty bright. it won’t help you find your way in a smoke banked room as well as the hand lights, but it will help during overhaul, and night exterior operations.

and the hands free use, make it better than not having a light because you didn’t have a hand free. the rear led makes you visible if anyone has to follow you. which is a nice addition. it comes with adjusting plates, to change the angle, but I didn’t need any.

it seemed perfectly aligned with my line of sight with out the adjustments.

Great light for the fire service, I own two. One helmet mounted and on I keep as a right angle light on my bunker jacket. The quick release from the helmet mount can be done blind, one handed with a structural glove.

Nice size, not to small not to big. Seems very durable but time will tell. Extremely bright, nice spot beam also the rear facing blue/ clear led light, depending on the orientation is very convenient.

Blue when straight for partner visabliy when being followed and clear flood when folded to right angle for light at your feet as well as where your looking. These feature can be turned off simply by holding the on/off button.

Light also has a high and a low setting. I love it. Might be holiday gifts for my crew, if their goodnthis year.

I like the light, the brightness, the durability of the light itself, and the versatility. This is the second one I bought, I lost the first one working on a house fire, I’m not sure when or where I lost it but I never did find it, the flash light came off the holder.

I’m giving this four stars because of the fact my first one fell off, and two because I can’t position it on my helmet in such a way that I can get it to shine straight forward. It would be nice if the holder would swivel a little.

Other than that I like the light and wish I could find the other one because I know it would still work due to it’s durability.

So far, so good. Only problem is if you have any kind of turned brim on your fire helmet, I would suggest avoiding this model and getting another. The turned brim makes it from where your turning radius of the flash light goes from forward facing to the ground, to forward facing and angled across your face.

Very bright, good quality, just wished there was some type of rotational and locking device so that the flashlights full functionality could be used.

Very well built strobe light, not a cheap flimsy unit like some of them out there. The magnets are strong and have a nice protective cap on them to keep your vehicles finish safe. The cable is plenty long enough to route inside the vehicle clean and neatly.

Changing the strobe pattern is very easy and the pattern that you select remains between use even when unplugged. Very satisfied with this unit and would recommend it highly.

We took this out on our plow truck and tried this out and my husband loves it. We are however going to have to find a way to mount it so that if he goes over 45 it won’t fall off. For the price it is a great bar light to have.

Well worth the price. Shipping was quick. Magnet is strong. Lights up really well. I recommend it.

I’m a paramedic after procrastinating about buying one of these lights, I came across a few police officers wearing them and was very impressed. I just received my micro light and am very impressed with it.

I’ve had an opportunity to use it on an MVA already and found it to be very bright and provides me with extra protection while I’m working on the side of the road. I also use this on my second job as a Paramedic working with a helicopter rescue company and use it on my flight helmet to help with hoist operations.

This light makes it much easier for the hoist operator to see me beneath the forest canopy and makes for safer hoist ops. The light is rugged and durable and I’m looking forward to many years of service.

I would highly recommend this light to anyone in the emergency services. One thing I would like to see Guardian Angel make is an NVG shroud mount for the light.

I bought this tool as a safety light for a night time road cycling, kayaking, Open water swimming, and in the future some trail running. I also like the potential use in a vehicle to keep it in the glove box and pull it out if you’re on the side of the road for whatever reason on a blind curve and don’t want to get hit.

This light eliminates and draws attention immediately in a way that greatly enhances my safety when I’m off doing adventures. I like that you can change the direction of how you choose to mount it and which lights show which direction.

I’m well known for destroying equipment because I can be a little hard on my gear. However I don’t think that’ll be the case with this piece of quality lighting. It’s also light and designed in a nice compact simple way that it’s very easy to throw in with your stuff or slap the magnet on something to keep it handy.

The mini red and white light is perfect for cycling because I can have the white facing forward and the red-facing backwards. The light is much smaller and more sturdy than I expected. The port for charging has a solid looking waterproof seal that I actually feel okay with putting on a swim buoy if I’m out there doing a swim close to dusk and I want to keep a boat or a jet ski away from me.

It’s actually been really hard to find a truly waterproof light to use for that purpose and this one seems to fit the bill. It’s also very cool looking to boot. There are so many mounting options that I’ve only scratched the surface as far as where I could apply this in my life.

This feels like one of the most well-built and quality products I’ve purchased in years. Thank you for the quality you guys have put into this it really shows!.

Yellow is to yellow and orange is to orange. Where’s the Amber? Anywho glad it’s finally USB-C. Like others have said don’t let the size fool you. Small footprint with great output of lighting. Function tho is a little short in my opinion.

I’m not talking about the big button in the middle that’s very purpose driven and get it but none the less there’s not even a simple “beacon” mode of any sorts. Also the battery charging indicator of the white light flashing is mind blowing retarded.

The last thing I need is a white strobe light going off while it’s charging on a table or even worse in the front seat of a car just after using it and wanna top it off before having to use it again for X amount of time.

It’s a good product but still room for improvement.

The strobe works exactly as described. It’s not particularly an attractive addition to the drone, but at altitude not sure that’s a problem. The tiny on/off button requires patience to find and operate with strobe flashing in your face.

However, would not hesitate to it buy again.

Bought 3 of these after reading the reviews. None of them worked correctly when i got them home. I figured the batteries were bad as they are some cheap batteries so i tried new batteries in all three.

The first one was corroded/rusted in the battery compartment so replacing the batteries did nothing. The second one would only come on with the red outer triangle lights, none of the other settings worked.

The third one would come on, with the red outer lights only, no other settings worked and you could not turn off. These are very poorly built lights.

I purchased a couple of these for every vehicle in our family. Adequate selection of colors, modes and it seems bright enough to work with as well as hang on a vehicle in an emergency to act as a warning.

Much, much better than a sign or other warning device. My only thought is that it could have been constructed for easier access to change the batteries. In my opinion a good value for the money.

We started using these several years ago for auxiliary motorcycle brake lights. Out of ten lights, all are still going, more than three years later. There are cheaper lights out there, but none of this quality and reliability.

They are a great product. Have had them on other veichles for 10 years. They have lasted well. Put 2 pair on 2 of our semi’s. When we need more I will reorder. Thanks

Bought two of these light heads for our new Ford F-150 Super Crew Emergency Response Vehicle for our airport. We placed them in as grill mounted lights and they are super bright. High red lumen in the day and night.

These TIR-3 style lights are awesome! They’re compact, durable and extremely bright. They will fit just about anywhere. High quality, with easy installation.

I ordered this strobe light though Walmart. My rating is based on what I got for about $35. For $35 this product easily gets a five star rating from me. It is brighter than I expected and looks professional and commercial grade when lit.

I frequently back up a trailer into my driveway from a busy farm road. When this strobe light is on, vehicles yield and give me plenty of space to back up safely. Prior to having this strobe light, cars got a lot closer to me while I backed up.

It is made of a light flimsy looking plastic so did not expect much out of it when I opened the box, but in performance, it did not disappoint. Again, my review is based on what I got for $35. This item is well worth the price.

Considering the price, this is a quite decently assembled unit. We’ll see what the longevity is like, but the only part that lets it down slightly is the fit between the angled windshield shroud and the light body itself – it’s a little loose, but not terrible.

The 12V plug and switch feel quality. There was one wire pinched between the housing body and the lens, but I was able to loosen a screw and tuck it back in the unit where it was supposed to go – just a simple assembly error.

I just didn’t want the wire to pinch and short out long term. For what it cost, I’d happily buy it again.

This is a nice light bar. Extremely bright. Suction cups hold on well, but the shield to keep glare off of the dash could be made better to block more light from passing through. Overall a great light for the cost.

Warning light is made of good material with a good fit and finish. Installed two lights on two different vehicles and both products are working as advertised. Various light patterns give a nice array of options.

Bright during the day and very bright at night!.

Lights work good bench tested it when I recieved it went to finally install it 11/26/19 And found out I nvr recieved the mounting hardware for it
