Being new to the world of music playing and not having a clue about reading music, this instructional book is very good. I love the commentary which is on every page which is on different topics associated with the violin.

It is bright and easy to read. It has defiantly made the ability to read and understand music very easy. I would highly recommend this series to any new potential musician.

I bought this same book for when I was teaching myself the tenor sax. Obviously the tenor sax version. The book came with a CD-ROM and a DVD which is what I wanted, because I did not want to boot up my computer every time I wanted to practice.

Now when I was looking for this book for violin I saw that it had the DVD as well. So I ordered it. When it got here it was only the CD-ROM, so I returned it to wal-mart. Being disappointed that they sent me the wrong book I decided to order this book from another web site.

I ordered it and when it got here it was the same book I had received from wal-mart. So I figured this is the book they are selling now, even thought it is not the one advertised on the websites. The book is great.

I am teaching myself (even though every where I looked everyone was saying not to teach yourself the violin) and so far I feel i’m doing pretty well. I will be go to talk to some one who does play the violin and see what they think and what i’m doing right and wrong.

I ordered this book for my son and received the Essential Elements book, no CD or DVD. I contacted the company and explained they sent the wrong book. I returned the Essential Elements book and waited for the Essential Elements 2000.

When it finally arrived it was once again just the Essential Elements book, not the 2000 version which is what they advertise. I called a music store and was told that they stopped printing the 2000 version.

He also mentioned that the Essential Elements book that I had received is generally acceptable in place of the 2000 version. Just know that if you truly want the 2000 version, its probably best to try to find a used copy.

These are a great set of strings. They bring a nice clarity to my cello and the lower strings resonate clearly and with depth. On my instrument the top end is not the greatest, but that is the draw with any strings.

I’ll still purchase another set in the future as it has proven to be an excellent sound and blend across the registers and retain their intonation and sound quality.

I just found a very old 4 page Spiro core ad that say’s you’ll have no trouble putting Spiro core 4/4 Stark on your 3/4 bass ! I just did so, replacing my 3/4 medium Spiro core. The results were high voltage.

Sound’s good as White Gold. The 4/4 Stark have more then double the sound. Strings are the better half of your bass. As I often heard since I started bass in 1957, Spiro core 4/4 Stark are the only Pro Strings.

I wouldn’t suggest spending money on 3/4 strings, when all the pro qualities are in the 4/4 Stark. At The Same Price ! If you’re a young player you should know Stark/Heavy strings are easier on the fingers.

Back in the 1950’s. The top rocking bass player was often called “Roy Al Cuff”. These strings duplicate his sound. A little “torte” mute will bring it back to near gut sound.

I had an Evah Pirazzi B5 string on my bass. But it was both overly resonant from the point of view of singing whenever I played B, Bb or C on another string, but also difficult to make sing by itself.

Spirocores on E and B5 have improved response on these strings, while simultaneously singing less on their own. The rest of the strings are Bel Canto. All sound great together.

Dominant Solo’s are a rich toned solo string. Easy on the Bow – easy to Bow – with a slightly retro sound. This string is too dark for a contemporary sound. Designed to cut through the sounds of the orchestra, I actually detune mine to orchestral tuning – E A D G not F#, B, E, A.

This gives me a looser easy to handle string. This string is good for both Arco and Pizz – again, if you like an older almost gut like sound, these should work. All in all an easy string, but also a quiet string.

I have had Thomastik’s Violin-Saite Dominant strings on my violin for over 15 years now. I love their rich, mellow sound, definitely my favorite strings in this price range. Last week, my A string snapped while tuning, which is hardly surprising given that they’re several years old.

The description says they should be change at “appropriate intervals. ” I am not sure exactly how long is considered appropriate; however, I didn’t notice any appreciable change in sound quality or intonation in the time they have been on my violin.

I do clean my strings thoroughly after playing and have dry hands in general, which seems to help with longevity. The strings hold tuning well and are responsive. Overall, they are a very good value with a fantastic sound.

These are fakes. Packaging could not be more authentic in appearance; rarely do you see Chinese knock-offs that look this genuine. Careful examination of the contents reveals the truth. When compared to genuine Dominants, these are obviously steel-cored, as there is no synthetic material showing at the ball ends or peg ends, and, unlike Dominants, they are quite stiff at both ends.

When measured with a micrometer, there are noticeable differences in the diameters. German strings coming from China at half the price? Gee.

The Infeld ‘Blue’ and ‘Red’ strings are very easy for the player, because tension is lower than other strings. In higher positions, they are much more easy to ‘push down’ quickly than most other strings.

The ‘E’ in the two sets are probably the same string, because they appear to be a simple steel cord (thinner than some). On my high-quality violin, the ‘E’ sounds pretty good – better than I would have expected from a thin, low-tension String.

But I dislike the plastic ‘filter’ and I always cut it off. (I feel that it is better to have parchment built into the Bridge. ) Also, the E-string comes with a Ball end, leading to a difficult choice between two evils: (1) You can remove the ball, but twisting and bending the loop to do so is likely to weaken it a great deal – creating a risk of a broken loop crashing into the top of your instrument (behind the bridge).

Or (2) You can use one of the “ball end” tuners, which holds the end of the string far too close to the bridge (compromising tone). I currently do this, instead of risking the broken loop. In the lower strings (G,D,A), the ‘Blue’ set creates a lot of brightness with volume, at the cost of losing the ‘reed-like’ character of many fine violins (the classic Guarneri Del Jesu sound).

The special trick with these strings is, you can choose ‘Blue’ or ‘Red’ individually, depending on the characteristic which you need to enhance on that particular string. And the strings all ‘feel’ and play the same.

On my own Violin, the G tends to sound very dark with most strings. When the music crosses over to a D-String of the same brand and model, there is a dramatic loss of that character – there is disturbing change for the listeners.

With Infeld Blue and Red, the strings themselves provide a pretty effective solution: Blue ‘G’, with more “brilliance” added, combined with Red ‘D’, increasing the reed-like “thickness” on that string.

(BTW, I use ‘Blue’ as the ‘A’, to reduce the contrast between ‘A’ and ‘E’ tonalities. Great strings, for the particular purpose of mixing to overcome violin tonal “issues” from one string to the next.

And, If you simply need increased brightness and “cut-through” character overall, you might still find that a set of all ‘Blue’ sounds better, and plays easier, than a set of Dominants.

I was using Evah’s on my violin and decided they were too bright so I went on a quest over the year to find a set of strings to assist with creating a warmer tone on my violin. These strings did exactly that – they are rich and warm and not too harsh or bright.

Even on my student model instrument (though I am an intermediate player) I am much happier with the tone. It’s no Strad, but is suiting my budget and ears for now.

I purchased PI Infeld Red last April. My violin is too bright for Pirrastro Tonica, too soft for Dominants string. I am really seeking a string that could produce a mellow and deep tone for G & D, but soft & not sharp for A & E.

After reading through the review about PI Infeld Red, I gave it a try. And, this is a brilliant violin string set, honestly! It makes my violin sounds like antique violin; deep & dark; I love G string so much.

By the way, Gold E string is easy to break after couple months. It can be replaced with Larsen E.

I have these on a 2007 Epiphone Les Pul Custom Ebony that’s bone stock, tuned to C standard and Drop A# to learn and play songs by In Flames. It’s basically the same guitar setup that Bjorn uses, except I don’t have a nickel allergy so regular strings are fine.

I did have to file my nut, and completely change up the intonation due to the wound 3rd string. The guitar is a 24 and 3/4 scale, which isn’t ideal but it’s what Bjorn uses, and I personally dont mind the extra slinky it has.

The gauges are in my opinion pretty good for the setup, but if I were to change anything in particular, having the 3rd and 4th strings just a half gauge heavier, and the 1st and second strings a half or whole gauge lighter would really light this off as playable.

The bends are much easier on 3rd and 4th vs 1st and 2nd. The 5th and 6th are perfect. Absolute chunky tight rhythms for that fast metal riffage.

f you want your sound bright and sparkling and still have deep low-end then these strings are for you. I switched from D’Angelico just for the heck of it and now I am staying with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky.

The D’Angelicos are pretty plain sounding compared to the Earnie Balls. The brightness of the EBs is long-lasting as well. I enjoy changing my strings about every three months so I can’t speak for the long, long-longevity if you are the kind of player that changes only on your birthday.

The feel is smooth and not brittle on the fingers, even with the lower strings. You will have to adjust you tones if you pop because your high strings will come through like a ricocheting bullet if you don’t bring the high end down a little on your bass or your amp.

I have used Ernie Ball Slinkys since I started playing guitar (time that can be measured in decades, that’s all I say). I have been through other top brands, and just don’t like them. I have gotten to know EB strings to the point where I can nearly predict when they’ll break.

That’s good in my book. The lively tone and intonation stays for a LONG time. And they’re good enough to scrape clean and, in the word of Billy Idol, Start Again. Well, that beats boiling them (RIP EVH).

What’s even better is all these new, attractive hybrid sets, allowing you to easily find your groove without having to get two packs for your ideal set! EB just keeps getting better.

Komplete Select is very helpful. One of the things I love is the fact that its showing me how to navigate through Komplete and Kontakt. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but I’ve fallen in love with this wonderful piece of equipment.

If you’re gonna get into Komplete, I totally suggest that you get Select first. Super helpful!!!.

Some instruments are good and others not so great but I was always going to upgrade to ultimate anyway.

I think this is going to work great but I really haven’t had a chance to dig in to it. I can say this. The patches are not all plug n’ play ready. The ones I have tried to use, all seem to be needing tweaking to work in any existing project I happen to be working on.

It could be just trying to dial in the FX (There are many) or even trying to get it to sound in tune with existing content. It could be me. I am currently deeply immersed in several projects and don’t have the time right now to spend just trying to get a Bass sound to blend.

My opinion right now is that Trilian’s strength is also it’s weakness. With other Bass modules I own, which are quite a few, they require a lot less attention. Kontakt w/ Komplete plugins like the Scarbee Fender & Rickenbacker Basses and the Mojo Bass module are just a couple that come to mind.

That being said, I can tell the sounds are beautiful. I just have to find a simpler way to work with them. Being primarily a Keyboardist, I expect this kind of soundscaping and programming from my Synth modules and keyboards.

I was expecting great things from Trilian with less work. I knew you could go deep with Trilian but I expected you could also work with it more as a Sampler, than a Synthesizer if you wanted to. I’m not complaining, at least not yet.

I just think I need more time to devote, which is spread a bit thin right now. I would not recommend this for someone that is non-technical. C Producer, Keyboardist.

Sound: I have been very pleased with the quality of the samples in this product. Most have multiple samples that allow for a lot of flexibility. I spend most of my time in the electric basses and use them for jazz/prog rock.

The acoustic patches are very nice and the Chapman is very unique. You can do some really nice things with it beyond just bottom end. I have not used many of the synth bass patches, but the few I have played with are interesting and sound nice.

The sounds are equivalent or better than all the other products I have or have tried. The amount of articulation and control you have over the samples can really humanize your tracks Features: The realism of the samples is the biggest feature/selling point to me.

By in large, any acoustic or electric bass sound you are looking for is in here. There are several processing options to tailor your sound to your liking. There was a lot of thought put into this product.

There are so many little touches you can add to ‘randomize’ your tracks making them sound less like a machine and more like a bass player. Ease of Use: Keyboards are not my primary instrument, but It’s fairly straightforward to use.

If you aren’t a keyboardists or familiar with samplers, I would recommend hitting the web for some tutorials to make sense of some of the features that can really bring the sounds to life. Some of the key control takes a bit of getting used to if you are not a keyboardist, but the value of MIDI is you can add those controls in your piano roll later.

Quality: The product has been available for quite a while, but it still holds up well against it’s competition in my opinion. The software is solid, installation was straightforward and easy, and I have had no issues running as a VST in Cakewalk Sonar Professional.

Value: I see some people having issue with the price, but the reality is for what you are getting it’s still a good value even if it is a few years old. It’s closest apples to apples competitor, iK MODO Bass is $299, and only offers electric bass samples.

Manufacturer Support: I have not had to deal with the company yet, but there is a support page on their website with a FAQ and some basic documentation. I would prefer they had a sponsored user forum, but the product is widely used and there are plenty of forum resources elsewhere.

The Wow Factor: I’ve been using other products for quite a while, and for me, nothing has the variety and sound quality I want in the same package. My personal Wow factor is the 5 string. It sits well in the mix and sounds amazing.

It’s by far my favorite. Overall: This is a Swiss Army Knife for all your bass needs. The samples are excellent and allow a lot of flexibility for almost any style of music.

I had a problem loading it up on my Mac. With a bit of a body swerve at first From customer service, they called And walked me through the process. A new usb Drive is required. Problems happen, it’s how the company reacts that’s important! Great product! Awesome sounding bass tones and so many with the ‘key switch’ option which makes them very realistic.

Slide ups/downs, X notes, round robin random touches and notes so it never sounds like a midi bass. I would buy another Spectrasonics product. And the price was decent considering the quality.

Sound: The sound of this synth is crisp and wonderful on the ears, I haven’t come across any particular patch that wasn’t good. Ease of Use: Very easy! There is a patch for every genre in this thing, you are bound to find the perfect patch for your song.

Quality: This product is made very well. It’ll last you years, maybe a lifetime even! Value: This product is definitely worth the price given the amount of things you have to play with. The Wow Factor: The amount of variation and availability of this synth is outstanding, I’d want it purely for the unique sound it has! Overall: This synthesizer is the best I’ve used in a long while, and its not even hardware based! There are limitless possibilities with this package, and so many sounds! Its sometimes hard to get to work on making a new piece as I just get lost in the patches haha (there are 14,000 of them!).

I’ve dabbled with different DAW’s but I’m not savvy enough to get into the nitty gritty of audio engineering. If you wanna just plug something in hit record and then do some tweaking you’ll be making tunes real fast with reason.

I think the visual presentation of seeing everything as physical units can actually be inspiring towards how you approach virtual instruments. And from what I have seen online, if you do wanna go under the hood there’s a lot of technical marvels to explore (too scary for me though!).

I Love The Modular Display and the sound is better than Ableton. Its a little clumsy on simple functions however. Like you can’t just drop an echo on a drum sound. You have to wire it in the rack. Ableton just works.

You get the idea out of your head and out of the speakers faster via Ableton.

Trash! The company is condescending acting like you don’t know about tech. I spent $200 for a demo and it says the account is activated but none of the features work. Hell I can’t even get my mic to work after going into all the settings on gods green earth.

They aren’t willing to refund even though I said deactivate my registration. They have no solution besides blaming you. I have abundant experience with technology and I’m only 28. I’ve been recording for 10 years.

It’s not rocket science. Their product, however, is. I wish I could give 0 stars. Please don’t waste your money on this product and with these condescending reps that only want to take your money.

Many people may seem to underestimate FL STUDIO. But its’ the best hands down! LIFETIME FREE UPDATES Is Key & The many features you get right out the box is just mind blowing, If your looking for that DAW that can still achieve the initial recording, edit, mix and master.

It’s FL STUDIO Not to mention. You PAY ONCE for the product and you get all types of goodies! The set up is not hard at all and the details on the image line website brings you right to what you need.

The only thing I dislike is that: It’s not very equip like PRO TOOLS with like a “punch in” record setting. Maybe FL STUDIO could get this in the future!! This product certainly meets my expectations as just starting out and I would recommend this to ANYONE to be real with you.

I bought this product back when it was still FL Studio 11 from the official Image-Line website. The program is fully unlocked and licensed to you for life giving you all newer versions of FL Studio for free.

This package is the Producer Edition and comes with all essential plugins and effects you could need granted you have your own sound samples and VSTs, interfaces, and all that goodness you make your music from.

If you wish to use the signature plugins in their fully unlocked states, you must buy the Signature package for more or you can unlock absolutely everything they have to offer buying the All Plugins Bundle for a steep price.

For almost everyone, the Producer Edition should be fine if you are a resourceful producer and/or musician. It’s taken me very far and I feel no constraints. Complete audio creation and mastering is something you are capable of doing all in this one single program.

The learning curve is there, but once you learn your way around you will be breezing through it with versatile controls, I’ve never been in a situation I couldn’t do something I wanted.

I don’t know where to start with reviewing or recommending Komplete 13. I upgraded from Komplete 10 to 13 initially just for the piano and cello sounds but decided to get the collectors edition. One of those why not moments while I was in the cart.

It took me a week on and off to install and update all. Cremona quartet amazing, Noire piano amazing…. Seriously amazing. I used the grandeur for my first album and now recording second using the Noire Piano and it is inspiring which was what I was hoping for.

Playing through the patches alone is hours of fun let alone I start playing with some settings. If anything , this software has given me a bit of anxiety as it’s obvious that I now have all the sounds at a high quality as well as tools to create soundscapes that I will ever need and that it is all going to come down to my skill level and my ability to create and not the product.

I can’t fault Komplete 13 ultimate collector’s edition and I feel like it’s one of those above my pay grade situations. I don’t usually leave reviews but after I played my first track to few people to get some reactions the one question they all asked was what piano did you record that on.

I bought the Ultimate Collector’s Edition, upgrading from the standard Komplete 13. Scan Computers were doing an amazing price, which was hard to resist. The package is amazing. It has everything you need to produce professional quality music of almost any genre.

I love the quality of the strings, which was a big selling point to me. I produce EDM, house style music & find pretty much everything i need is in this package bar from the vintage synths. It does have lots of great synths & presets but i do love the old Korg & Roland synths, so the Arturia V collection fills that need for me.

Other than that, I could spend months, maybe years searching through the massive selection of samples & presets this collection has to offer & never go through every one, it really is that massive. Theres so much stuff in this package, you could write a book on what it contains.

Im really glad i took the plunge & went for the top package, its worth every penny.

I would guess I will be exploring the content for years! It’s an inexhaustible source of inspiration, I would have given it five stars if not for the nightmare of installation. It is too large for the main hard drive So I installed applications on main drive and wanted to put all the HUGE sample content on external ssd.

This created issues that caused the installation to take two days and several failures. Be sure and watch as many videos on YouTube on installation as you can before starting. Read what native instruments has on its website.

of the 208 items needing installed, I still have five items that continue to fail installation likely due to being unprepared for a custom install. Otherwise it’s a very powerful suite of instruments.

I haven’t tried too many of these fretboard cleaners over the 40 years I’ve been playing. When strings die I change them. Somehow I ended up with a can of finger ease about two decades ago and fell in love with how nicely it clean the strings.

I do take the time to use the cloth and get underneath the string as well which completely cleans up the gum and mark from both sides of the string. Doesn’t make any sense to only clean the face of the strings.

Anyhow, like I said I haven’t tried any other products and I’m sure that other products workwell but the fact that this is in a spray can and I can spread all over my guitar necks freely and then slowly work off the dirt without having to worry about a pump spray not facing the right direction is just good for me.

There are a lot of opinions as to how to clean neck and most are completely correct. I’m not as interested in cleaning the neck as I am getting the gum off the strings so that I can continue are there practicing or teaching.

It also happens to be a great way to clean the guitar necks of my students quickly and easily. I highly recommend this product but like I mentioned, there are probably other products that do the same job just as well.

I just prefer the spray can because it’s fast and I can get a whole lot of it on to the fretboard very quickly. It also works really good on smudges but I only use finger ease for smudges on guitars that only have value to me and not necessarily valuable on the open market.

But as far as cleaning the strings, I use it on everything and like I mentioned it’s been over 20 years. So as far as I’m concerned it’s great!.

I have never used anything else, so is it the best ? I don’t know, but it makes the rosewood fret boards on all of my guitars feel less ,,,well I would say sticky. When I notice my fingers dragging on the frets I spray a little on the fretboard and it just makes it feel much better.

It seems to help keep the grunge from building up on the rosewood. It conditions the rosewood , sometimes it starts to look dry and a little spray and it looks deep and rich again. I don’t have any maple or ebony fretboards so I don’t know how it will work on them.

I use it sparingly and it has lasted me more then 5 years might even be closer to 15. My can is getting low so I bought another one. I wipe it as soon as I spray it and have never noticed any damage to the finish on my guitars.

I would give it 5 stars but I have never used anything else so I have nothing to compare it to. My friend uses a different product. That he loves but this it tested and true on my guitars do I stick with it.

One other thing ,I buy most of my guitars used and they always come gunked up with that finger grease buildup that is so hard to get rid of. I use 000 grade steel wool and finger ease to clean it off when I change the strings.

I have been very happy with the results. Would I buy again? ,, yes I did, recommend to a friend, certainly. The two pictures included show the very slight differences. The fretboard stays clean even after many months.

Normally only reapply when my fingers start to drag or fretboard looks dry. Good stuff!.

This review in which I have observed and feel may not be persuaded to others, but this is not my intention in doing at all. So I want to clarify that it is an ok use for but for some critique reasons.

First off, I am still a fan of this product to this day, and yes I have use this quite often. BUT, there are some few things you have to be aware of when you buy this. Most of the times when I change strings it’s because they feel stiff and I have no I idea why they keep feeling stiff most of the time, until I come to realize it’s the finger ease that’s being in use.

Here is my tip on buying a product. “ALWAYS READ WHAT’S ON THE BACK!” and yes, I have to learn this the hard way. The 1st line of the 1st paragraph is the crucial evident you have to think about, in which the part is read, “Reduces finger tenderness-stops string talk.

” To me, that would mean that it will stiffen the strings to the point where there will be little or no string talk, in which case, you’ll be sacrificing string bending. Many songs that are played are highly used for bending strings and such, but if you don’t do strings bending at all, you wouldn’t care much at all then.

Also, this takes away you callous from your fingers! “. residue transfers from strings to fingers and conditions callouses, keeping soft and smooth without snags. ” I don’t know if I am interpreting correctly, but YOU NEED TO HAVE HARD CALLOUSED FINGERS TO PLAY GUITAR OR ANY OTHER STRING INSTRUMENT! I think that this is good for nylon strings but not steel strings at all.

I replaced my old elixirs nanoweb. 009 over dunlop. 009 and it was very good at first when I played to stretch out the strings, but after when I applied the finger ease to the strings, it just started to sound and feel really different.

Now, many of you who may read this read this review will not agree with me maybe because most of you have better experience with the this more than me; But this is my experience with the product which is the reason why I’m giving this a 3 stars.

It is not a good product, but it is not bad either. For now, this product will be my last can when I finish it. Until the manufacturer improves this product, I will buy it once again. By the way, the guitar that I put my strings on is a Charvel DST-FR1 which is similar to the LTD/ESP Gus-g Random star.

I have mixed on several DAWS over the past 20 years. My first DAW was back in the ’80s when Avid was Digi Design and it was just a 2 track editor called sound designer. Then came session 8 in the ’90s, Then I moved to Pro Tools.

My first pro tools rig was the 002 LE. I stepped away from Pro Tools around 2008 and persued other DAW’s, Sonar Platinum, Ableton, Studio One, Cubase and Mixbuss32. Don’t get me wrong, these are amazing DAWS and I still use them.

This past year I decided to return back to Pro Tools because I missed the workflow and it had many new features that I was interested in learning. It was one of the best purchase decisions I made. Being able to control Pro Tools with an Ipad and eucon enabled hardware was a plus, the ease of editing and mixing another plus, the way plugins are arranged another plus.

Importing and exporting audio is simple, file organization is simple. One of the most important features I like is the quick bounce. I record podcasts that can sometimes be as long as two hours and real-time bounce is not an option for me.

Integration into my studio with time code for video is a huge win. the midi integration is not a feature I will comment on because I did not by pro tools for that purpose. I bought it because I wanted a powerful DAW to take my recordings and workflow to another level.

So what are you waiting for, go ahead and buy it, yes there is a learning curve, but there is always a learning curve for professional products that will give you the results you need. By the way, did you know American musical has flexible payment options? if it was not for American Musical, I would not have been able to purchase and grow my studio as quick as I have.

I recently switched from Pro Tools LE-8 to the latest 2020 version of Pro Tools and I couldn’t be happier. My biggest fear was losing access to all the plug-ins I purchased separately for Pro Tools LE-8, but Avid was able to assist me in adding my valuable plug-ins to the latest version of Pro Tools.

Like many musicians the uncertainty of the Corona virus has put a damper on my music arsenal budget, but I was ecstatic when I learned that American Musical Supply offered an easy 8 payment plan for Pro Tools, so I took the plunge and I’m so glad I did.

This latest version of Pro Tools Rocks and I’m digging everything about it from the comprehensive workflow to all of the stellar plug-ins that are included and the ease of use. I’m loving it. So if you have thought about diving into the world of Pro Tools, but afraid to pull the trigger because someone said it’s too difficult to learn and much too expensive, I say give the free version “Pro Tools First” a try and if you like it, contact American Musical Supply and let them find a version that is suited for your needs and budget.

Protools is the ultimate package of efficiency & productivity for your music and production capabilities. The features that stand out to me are the ability to record, edit and mix audio on a professional level.

This is not because a lot commercial recording studios has this software but because it is the top and best there is! I’ve had it previously on my old windows computer for over 10 years and I’ve recently updated it to my Apple iMac for the last 3 months and it has not failed me.

It exceeds all of my expectations simply because I have full capability to mix and edit the sound that I desire.

This review is more based on Guitar Center. This claims “Download After Purchase!” But it is not that easy. You have to wait for an email for the product key. Which NEVER COMES. Guitar Center does NOT have the software keys.

They take your money and then they have to wait for Image-Line (FL Studio) creators to send Guitar Center the software key and then Guitar Center sends the key to you. Guitar Center is advertising this like you just buy it and get the program moments after paying.

Be Careful. I suggest buying it somewhere else.

This E string has very clear resonance without the brassy over tones !!! The vibrato is superb and very clear with this string , The highs and low pitches with this E string at any speed your playing is very concise and delivered !!! They labeled this TONICA gold for a reason and I highly recommend it !!! If its not broke ” don’t fix it !! I will never use any other E string except this !!!.

Unfortunately the strings cannot be used. My daughter, a high-school freshman at UNC School of the Arts, tried them on her violin, but only the E string works and can be tuned. The other strings are impossible to control, and her teachers also agreed that they should be changed with a different product.

I hope we can change them.

Really appreciate the Johnson included the extra Gold Label E with the string set. This string has such a warm and clear tone!

These strings are bright and punchy, managing a delightful mix of growl, depth and sustain when played on my Hungarian 3/4 bass. The low tension produces a good balance of stability and playability.

These are excellent strings whether you’re performing or recording, I will definitely buy these strings over and over again.

These strings really improve the sound of my bass

Wonderful mello sound on all strings. The strings require a much lower finger pressure and less bow pressure to use. The sound intensity is still more than enough for most settings but not enough for hall like the BSO.

Excellent pitch stability after a week of settling.

I recently had my violin repaired and serviced and the old strings were replaced with Tonica strings. These strings did not suit my violin and they sounded hollow. I changed back to Dominant strings and it now sounds like a whole different instrument with so much more warmth.

You need to experiment with strings and your instrument and playing style to get the right match for you.

Put these on my Jimmi Vaughn strat. Love the heavier bottom strings. Work great on any type of music from worship to metal. Helps fill the low end when you don’t have a bass player. Chords sound fuller and richer in tone.

They are going on my 50’s strat next. Didn’t have to modify the nut. 48’s were on there before. These are “my” strings from now on.

Not being a lead player in any shape or form I have played acoustic and electric for over fifty years. These strings are perfect for electric rhythm guitar for those of us who don’t have that “light” touch.

I have been using Elixer strings for about six years now. I have tried many other strings and I always come back to Elixer! The tone of these really do last longer than other brands of strings and they also sound great.

The only bad thing I can say is I can never find these strings in heavier sizes at any music store! Aside from that slight inconvenience, they are worth the buy!.

Long lasting, great sound. I went to my girlfriends sisters home for Xmas and a few guys got a some guitars out and we played some rock, country and bluegrass on Elixers strung on acoustic instruments.

They claimed the strings were three years old. They sounded quite good for their age. After seeing a John Paul Jones interview where he said Elixers were all he used. I already used them but his opinion completely sold me.

I even bought an Elixer tee shirt. I use them on all my guitars and mandolins. I won’t settle for anything else. I just bought a FX5 that had Addario’s on it. No pause, I replaced them with Elixers. Great sound.

Long lasting. Stay good looking too. Buy multiple set bundles and save money.

The best strings I’ve ever purchased!! They sound great and the lows are full! Just the way I love it. The last time I changed my strings was almost a year ago and that was when I was introduced to Elixir Polywebs.
