12 Best Waffle Bowl Maker (2022 Updated)

We bought this with the Ice cream maker, and we love it! I would make a little Ice Cream station so while I was making the bowls, my kids could be making the ice cream. Then after both we’re done, then we could decorate our teats whatever way we wanted.

My kids love it. Both the Ice cream maker and the waffle bowl maker are really easy to clean. I would definitely recommend.

This was smaller than I’d anticipated. But, I did try it out. Had to gauge how much pancake batter to put in it or it overflows. Finally got to the right amount. Turned out really cute to put fruit with a touch of whipped cream, scrambled eggs with syrup in, and I’m still experimenting with other fillings.

All in all it is nice for appetizers and small amounts.

I REALLY love this product! It makes amazing waffle bowls! caution The recipes that do come with them make a ton I cut it in half and I still had a ton of bowls! I also put tortillas in there to make tortilla bowls for taco night and it is really amazing! I love these products that are made by this brand and it’s just really great.

I have used it once with a brownie mix by OptaVia that I trusted it NOT to overflow. It was delightful. Filled it with berries!!! I considered all the other possibilities and will be using it to create healthy serving sized bowls.

I’m thinking a soft corn tortilla filled with salad. I like it!.

The first batch I made were very crispy and the recipe made about double what I was expecting. You really only need 1 1/2 tbsp of batter at the most. The second batch I made didn’t harden at all, but still tasted good.

Not sure what the difference was. Kids love these.

I had been searching to upgrade our old Disney themed waffle maker. Don’t get me wrong, my old Disney waffle maker was great, but after 13 years it was starting to show it’s wear. So after seeing this item in your store, my family and I took a chance.

We absolutely love it! We have been making waffles with it for over two months’ now and every time they come out perfect. Couldn’t be happier.

This waffle iron is fantastic. It’s cute. It cooks well. I like the flip feature. The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because after buying this, I learned there are waffle irons whose plates are removable for cleaning & that is a big plus to me.

If removable plates aren’t a big deal for you, I HIGHLY recommend you buy this iron.

I purchased this unit about a month ago and have used it two times. It performed flawlessly straight out of the box. I think it’s the Rolls Royce of waffle makers. I like the number 4 setting on the dial.

I think it makes the just right golden brown waffle color. Now, I would like to discuss the pros and cons of this waffle maker. First, the pros. It has straight forward design, nothing confusing, and it has a nice fit and finish.

The waffle color setting takes trial and error. The three setting is a good starting point. You will hear a series of beeps when the waffles are done, nice touch. There is an arrow indicating which way to turn the waffle after dropping the top half of the iron.

Each top half of the maker snaps down to insure it is locked before it can be turned. I have had no problems with any sticky waffles, they lift straight out. I would recommend using a plastic fork or soft coated tongs for waffle removal.

Now, time for the cons. It is a large unit. It is heavy and takes up a load of counter space. Beware if you have low cabinets. It needs 21inches/53. 34cm of vertical space to open the the top iron to pour batter.

It takes a little effort to clean after use. Please let it cool before cleaning. The irons hold a load of heat. The cord storage is a great feature, but the unit must be turned upside down to utilize this feature.

It eats up counter space. I would recommend having a place to store it to free up counter space. Overall, I gave this waffle maker all the stars because it makes very nice waffles. Everybody can eat together faster.

It is a highly effective machine. I am a bit biased as I own a few Cuisinart machines circa 2004 and haven’t had any incidents with any of them. You get what you pay for and I mean that in a positive way!.

Takes to long to fully cook waffle. A lot longer then paper says. Cooks uneven top slower than bottom.

My waffles turned out nice after adding a little more cook time than recommended. They are really small, though!

I bought this waffle maker to replace one that had broke. I’m so happy I got this one because it was affordable and works great!!!

It truly makes delicious, crispy waffles and is so easy to use. The nonstick really works, so thats great. Biggest challenge is that it absolutely will spill at some point — you have to fill it up to get the blocks to come out fully, and that means the batter will ooze out of at least one side.

Just make sure you put a tray under it, and it’s fine!.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughters boyfriend and he loves it! I only rated it 4 stars because he didn’t get it until April, so it was a Spring Christmas. Nevertheless, I was rated the best Christmas gift giver ever! He build legi waffle houses filled with fruit.

I tried sending this message before. I bought this as a gift for my grandson who has not had his birthday yet. Therefore I don’t have any idea about how it works. I’m hoping it will work as advertised, and he and his family will havv by e a lot of fun with it.

I love it. I made waffles and I used jiffy corn muffin mix with a tablespoon of oil added. It made great waffle bowls and great corn bread bowls. Once in a while it is fun to make something new. They didn’t stick to the maker and they turned out nicely browned.

They were great with syrup and butter. I filled one with scrambled eggs and ham. I sure like this little waffle maker. Thanks, Grandma Connie Ps. I put grand bisquits in the waffle maker. One at a time and had swell bisquit bowls to have with barbequed hot dogs, Next project; cake bowls to put fruit and cool whip on.

O. K. I bought this adorable little mini waffle bowl maker as a birthday present for the family. I had got them and Ice cream maker for Last Christmas, so a waffle bowl maker as a birthday present is a perfect match gift.

Pros :Its not messy. easy clean up and after you make the bowls you can dip them in chocolate that will harden and keep the bowls from getting soggy from the served Ice cream. Yummy Yummy Yum Cons: The only con is you can onlymake (1) one waffle bowl at a time.

So they may be a fuss from the kidss over who gets the first bowl I’m thinking of getting another just for me. Hahaha.

I love this thing! I don’t usually eat waffles but I bought this for myself for my birthday and then I bought some pumpkin waffle mix. The waffles are a nice thick size on the bottom and they never stick to the waffle maker.

If it says use oil in the mix DONT use oil in the mix. They will separate in the middle and leave you with a pile of waffle gook. If you are worried about waffle mix sticking to the grill oil the waffle iron top and bottom with spray or wipe it down with cooking oil and a paper towel.

I did that the first few times and now I don’t oil the waffle iron and nothing ever sticks. These are awesome tasty waffles too. I loved this product so much I bought my grandmother and my brother one each for Christmas.

I’m a waffle person, not a pancake one, and having cute waffle bowls makes them even more enjoyable. This waffle bowl maker is easy to use, makes flawless waffle bowls each time (used Krusteaz Belgian mix).

Fill the bowl with fresh fruit and you have a large meal with tremendous visual appeal and great taste. I love this gadget and gave another as an appreciated gift. I typically make six waffle bowls, freezing the extras in a freezer weight zipper plastic bag with parchment paper between each bowl so they don’t freeze together.

Just 3 or 4 minutes in the toaster oven at 200* quickly yields a crisp tasty bowl.

I made cornbread bowls. I made cornbread from scratch by using self rising white cornmeal with one egg, tad of oil, and enough milk to make a rather thin batter. Came out perfect. I’ve had a lot of fun making all sorts of bowls and everything turns out perfect.

I do NOT oil or spray the non stick surfaces. Also keep in mind, you don’t need much batter to make several bowls unless you want a thick bowl. Also, I reheated some waffle bowls in the toaster oven and they were better than the day before.

We were really happy with it! BUT–3 cones in and the timer stopped working!!! We were soooo disappointed.

The worst waste of $18. Seriously, save it and go to iHop or Starbucks instead. Even if you only use it once. The waffle press is thin and your waffle is incomplete (if it ever completely cooks) because the edges are too shallow and half your batter seeps over the edge.

The heat settings are for decoration only because they have no impact on the heat intensity. I wait another minute after the loss got turns green. If you do decide to buy this thing, make yourself a cup of coffee first or you will end up having a horrible morning.

I feel guilty taking up space in the landfill by tossing this junk. I feel guilty that my carbon footprint just grew enormous with this piece of junk. We eat waffles a lot, so Ive been through many because truly, it seems no one can make a waffle maker anymore that lasts.

This one by far was the worst ever.

Okay I haven’t had this unit long, but I’ve put it through it’s paces. Here’s what I’ve found so far. It cooks waffles evenly, no hot/cold spots, and it heats up very quickly. Waffles cook up in a flash and the non-stick surface isn’t bad.

Note: Waffles tend to stick to the top unless seasoned, so it’s a good idea to brush on a tiny bit of light cooking oil on the top grid. Don’t use Pam or other spray on oils as it can ruin the surface of the waffle iron (as I’ve found out in the past).

It’s very light weight and easy to clean. The top of the iron moves easily and could be damaged if not handled carefully. If you’re looking for a decent, fast, waffle iron that won’t break your budget, give this one a try.

Dash makes the best waffle makers I’ve ever used! I have a few others of theirs for different seasons. This pumpkin design is so adorable, definitely one of my new favorites. For less $15, it is a steal! I’ve never have had a problem with any Dash makers, which I’ve owned for a few years.

This was so cute, I had to buy it. I went out and bought waffle mix and jam. It was easy to prep the item for first use. The directions for use were well-explained. The item worked perfectly. It made very cute little waffles.

How adorable were these little masterpieces! After I made my first batch of waffles, I realized I don’t like waffles. I guess this item will entertain company when they visit. IT SURE IS CUTE!!!!.

The Dash Pumpkin Mini Waffle Maker is great! Once plugging in and spraying a bit of non-stick spray, it is good to go! It creates pumpkin shaped waffles so quickly. I made about 10 for my kids’ sleepover and it took no time to get them all done so that the kids could all eat together without any of them having to have super cold waffles.

Highly recomend for all of your fall shindigs!.
