20 Best Waffle Weave Blanket (2022 Updated)

I really like this blanket’s weight and color. I gave it four stars because of all the lint on the first wash. It covered the bottom of the washer, and I’ve never seen so much lint in the dryer. I had to empty the lint filter three times.

I’m afraid to wash it again although I’m pretty sure it would be better.

I feel the sizing is a bit off. After washing it, several loose stitches so I’m not sure how long it will last. It has a medium heaviness which is perfect for me. I bought it to go under my bedspread quilt during the colder months.

It a perfect weight for that. It will work for now but again, the quality wasn’t the best.

I purchased this blanket because the others I was looking at had bad reviews stating that they produced a lot of lint when washed – well this one does too! I had to clean a bunch of lint out of the washer and had to clear out the lint trap NINE times while it was drying.

NINE TIMES! And I’m talking a full lint trap, it was seriously a fire hazard. I’m truly hoping that all of the lint produced from washing this blanket didn’t ruin my brand new washer and dryer set.

Love this set for my grandsons. This is my second set. My first set was purchased for my first grandson born in 2018. The first set was passed on to his brother born in 2021. I purchased the second set so that the second grandson has one to take to daycare.

Received item as promised and as advertised. Upon opening, washed in cold water and put in dryer on low heat. Came out perfect. Great for sleeping in Northern Florida year round. Although during cold snaps, we add a heavier cover.

Great product as described. Blanket will shrink a little after washing but it definitely meets my expectations.

Great mouthguard. Easier to wear and more comfortable than the ones which cover all the way around. Very happy.

The negative reviews for this blanket made me afraid to buy it. I took a chance, though, because I was set on using Mustard Yellow for my guest bedroom. Additionally, the cost was fair. When I got the blanket, I threw it in the washer with a 1/2 scoop of Oxi Clean powder on a delicate (cold) cycle.

I then let it air dry. I dried it entirely and then fluffed it for a few minutes in the dryer. I had no problems at all. Not even shedding, which has been a major worry for the majority of people who have bought this blanket.

I adore it!.

When I first received this blanket I was so disappointed because the “mustard” color I thought I was ordering was much dingier looking in person. However, this blanket is supreme. It’s so hot where I live and this is perfect for summer! The material is not hot or heavy, and it does not cling to you like most thin/cooling blankets do.

I’ve also had to wash this SO many times already because of my puppy and it’s held up very well. Highly recommend!.

Great blanket, love the light grey color and the waffle texture and that it is 100% cotton. Washed and dried easily. I HATE the packaging though. It is that awful plastic that will sit in a landfill for hundreds of years.

It left a strong plastic/vinyl smell on the blanket that took two washings to get out completely. If they changed the packaging to something more eco-friendly it’d be 5 Stars easily.

From what I researched usually 100% cotton blankets shrink ALOT and shed like crazy. I even bought a king size to allow for shrinkage. To my surprise it didn’t shrink at all or produce much lint. It is not exceptionally soft which is normal for blankets of this kind.

It’s very lightweight and great for those who struggle with night sweats/temp control. You can’t beat the great price as well. Very satisfied.

It’s okay 2 stars because softness for 100% cotton is not found ? It will work for my bed with a sheet only. can’t stand the feel by itself ? Would buy more but even after wash not any softer ! Too much money to hide with a sheet for softness in my opinion! I also washed it and dry low heat for softer feel.

Hope it gets softer with more washes? Package was opened maybe a return and zipper broken who knows washed before and return or maybe I got a bad one?.

This is the thick cotton waffle blanket you have been looking for! Order with confidence that you will be satisfied. My gf said you can’t get one for that price stating she had paid over twice as much, but when it arrived boy was she surprised.

It’s all that! It may not be quite as soft as hers but it is thick and the real deal. Ordering another one in grey/gray!.

The riviera waffle weave blanket fits perfectly on our king bed. The white is bright and inviting. The riviera waffle weave is a comfortable weight that provides warmth while being very breathable. In these warmer months since getting the waffle weave blanket, sheets and this blanket are what my husband prefers for bedding at night.

As the months get cooler we will add more layers—to this cozy bed! The blanket is soft and the waffle weave gives it a little more structure than some other cotton blankets. Highly recommended addition to your bedding.

The blanket is wonderful! It’s the best blanket we have ever owned. I loved it so much that I purchased a second one.

This “blanket” is more like a thick textured sheet. It is of good quality, and would make a great summer coverlet if you don’t need any warmth. It is about the weight of a kitchen towel. Had they not sent me a KING size blanket with a ‘Full” label on one side and “king” on the other, I might have said “oh well’ and kept it.

Maybe it bulks up when you wash it. I doubt it though. They used to sell a wonderful lofty, stretchy, snuggly, cotton, waffle blanket, and that was what I thought I was buying. Disappointing.

The blanket is perfect for our South Florida weather! Light weight yet keeps us warm during our mild winters. The cotton weave is pure quality expertly sewn. We chose the white color which is neutral for all decors since it is not bright white but rather a soft white.

I will definitely be buying another one for our guest room.

I hoped for a light weight California-summer blanket. It is a heavy blanket. On the store chat,before purchasing I shared my objective and she confirmed this would fit my needs and would not be too warm.

Regrding size it is typical for bedding that says it fits regular and Cal King and does not realy fit either.

Substantial in weight, seems luxurious. It’s well made altogether, generously sized for a deep mattress. The texture is “strong” ie. an oversized box pattern that looks modern. It might be a little softer, but a few washes ought to the care of that.

When I was a child, I had a cotton blanket with this same type of weave. That one was pink. I think it’s beautiful in any color. In terms of warmth, most of these all-cotton blankets are about the same.

This one might be a little warmer than most. It definitely isn’t pull-resistant, though I’ve been lucky so far.

The Lulujo waffle blanket is a staple in our home. It is so soft, yet still warm and cozy. The size is perfection; not too big and not too small. I also love the neutral colours which allow them to suit any space.

Love this blanket! It gets softer with each wash and the size is perfect for in the stroller or crib. Great quality and the colour (sand) is really lovely. Going to buy another one in white.

I sleep hot, and wanted a cover that was light, but provided some warmth. I knew from the title – “THROW” – and size – 60×80 – that this was small for my need – I have a full-size bed – but it was the only one I could find, here or at other online sellers, that had consistently good reviews, especially as to washability.

I never use any clothes or linens without washing them first, and have to use hot wash and hot dry, as I use the laundry room in a large apartment building where bugs and whatever thrive. This survived the wash and dry quite well – no shrinkage, and minimal lint, so I am pleased as to that.

It provides the right amount of warmth for me, and clings to the sheet, so it is not slipping off the time. I love the color – I bought the blue. My only complaint is that it not larger. It is exactly 60×80, as advertised, and says it is a throw not a blanket, so I knew what I was getting, I just wish they would make it in a real blanket size – 90×90 would be excellent.

And no fringe. I just bought a second one using a coupon for an excellent price, and will find some way to join the two, I hope. So read all the reviews here, know what you are buying, and you should be pleased with it.

This teal throw is the EXACT color of my accent chairs I purchased on another site. I have been looking for pillows with that color in them for months, to no avail. And then suddenly saw this blanket and could hardly believe the color was a perfect match! It adds the splash of color to my neutral couch that ties the living room together.

Also, the weight is so nice for summer, or when you just need a little something to snuggle under. Very light weight but feels high quality. I came back to buy another!.

Love this blanket. Ignore the people talking about how thin it is. For those of us who live in hotter climates (Florida for me) it’s perfect. It is larger than a throw size which is why it’s called oversized.

I have multiple pets and have been using it for months now and it has held up to them all with no holes, very few snags from claws. They’ve been washed at least 10 times and the color hasnt faded at all.

I highly recommend if you want a light throw.

I have had this blanket for a few months now and it is my favorite blanket. I sleep hot but I like to have a blanket for comfort and this one is the perfect weight for that. If you are looking for something warm and cozy this is not your blanket but if you want something nice and light for the summer or if you’re the kind of person who sleeps with a fan on in January then it’s absolutely perfect.

Wow, Wow, Wow – I thought for a long time that the influencers I saw on Instagram were only saying how great these sheets, towels, and linens were because they had a brand deal with Boll & Branch. I’m here to tell you that the items I purchased were 100% worth the investment.

In fact, I’m already thinking about my next set of sheets! I have never slept better and the quality is outstanding. Stop buying cheap sheets! Save your money and get a set of the Boll & Branch percale sheets because you deserve to wrap yourself in comfort.

Also, the bath sheets, hand towels, and wash cloths are amazing. They dry quickly and they stay soft and absorbent. Best decision ever!.

Are there any superlatives left to describe this wonderful blanket? When you open the box and touch it for the first time I guarantee you will say ooh, so soft! It is amazingly soft and almost spongy in a way.

A perfect weight blanket for summer and fall. Keeps you warm but not hot. I’m going to layer it with other blankets as the nights get cooler. The Waffle Blanket is generously sized for our king size bed and launders well.

I used the Extra Low heat setting and it dried very quickly. Love this blanket!.

I wasn’t sure what I would be getting when I ordered. I thought it would be thicker, but it appears to be well made. I find it very stretchy. When I made the bed, trying to get both sides of the king bed even was/is more difficult.

Usually I could give a little tug on one side to make it equal, but the blanket just stretches. The far side doesn’t move an inch but the near side now has more blanket over the edge which means the blanket is stretching on one side and relaxed on the other which means there will be relaxing and shrinkage to the pre stretch and uneven sides.

Not a deal breaker by any means but annoying.

I purchased the Reyes Organic Waffle Blanket in Hazel and love everything about this blanket. The weight is a perfect extra layer for the cold months, but it’s too beautiful to hide away off season. I was looking for something in the ochre family and the hazel is spot on.

It’s so rich and is true to what you see online. The waffle weave has a sturdy texture and is more solid and structured than a loose weave which would be more prone to snag. I knew when I saw the color I had to have it and I couldn’t be more pleased.

This is by far, the best blanket I have purchased. I originally ordered the hazel color, which is so true to the photo color. I then ordered 2 more blankets and now going to replace all my blankets with this one.

I have homes in Florida and Utah, and the weight is perfect, the quality is exceptional. There is no need for a duvet or bedspread, these blankets can accomplish both!.

I purchased the white and it is a wonderful crisp white. Exactly what I was looking for. Great weight. The design is equally wonderful. I am hoping it will soften after a few washes. It is “stiffer” than my other cotton purchases from Coyuchi.

Wow, This is an awesomely soft, comfy blanket! Here in central Texas, we only need light blankets. This, for us, is suitable for cool to cold weather – not for summer here. But, I love it so much and it feels so good, I am thinking of buying another one for another bed in our home.

Will alternate with a lighter blanket during the year. Definitely worth the price, it seems excellent quality and will last, as is typical of L. L. Bean products! Highly recommend, unless you are in a tropical climate!.

This blanket is very soft and cozy. I have a Queen size bed and ordered the King so the blanket would stay tucked in at the foot of the bed. I find it to be a bit on the slippery side. It causes the comforter thats resting on top of the wicked cozy blanket to slide around.

That’s my only negative.

Love this blanket It is cozy and warm. Since we live in the Northeast, I will be comfortable all winter in my bed. Good price and nice selection of colors. Would recommend this for every bed in the house.

These blankets are perfect for warm summer nights when a duvet is too much. They wash well too. This is the third one I have bought as everyone in the house loves them!

I decided to wash this blanket before using to see how much it would shed since it’s cotton. None! It was extremely soft after washing and drying, and I used no fabric softener. The waffle weave is so beautifully designed and the border adds a finishing touch.

It’s very generous in size so I am using a full size on my queen bed. I sleep hot so this blanket is lightweight and has kept me warm during this winter season under a velvet quilt that I also purchased from Ballard.

I am quite sure it’s going to work during the spring and summer months too.
