20 Best Wagon For Toddlers (2022 Updated)

We bought two of these wagons for 2 sets of grandchildren. Our granddaughter is three and her brother just turned one. She does not need to be belted in but we do use the belts for our grandson and he doesn’t mind at all.

They both love the wagon. Right now bc of the weather they are using it in the basement. I take them on wagon rides in the basement and they have their snack and cup holders for their drinks. Our grandson loves the little trunk as he can continually open and close that door as well as the side door.

Our other set of grandchildren are age 4 and two and they both love the wagon as well. My husband and I love the length and angle of the handle as it is very easy to pull without bending over. This is a fantastic gift to promote imagination, fun and longevity!.

I ordered this for our grandson. My disappointment was the difficulty in putting this together. The directions are terrible! I realize the need for universal photos for all people to be able to understand, but there is very little else to go by.

I’m not a mechanical engineer, but I can usually put together an item with some good directions. The product seems very good so far (we’ve only just had it together for 24 hours), but I would recommend anyone buying this to have a good tool box and innate knowledge, or get someone to help you.

This item is easy to put together once you figure out the incompetently made pictures and figure out the materials in the plastic bags. That is, of course, after you get the. Pdf file because the manufacturer is too cheap to put a piece of paper with instructions in the box that has written directions and pictures.

The steps for putting the rear axle together are not explained well, but do it you place a lock nut/washer (j) in the l piece and pound it d, the axle itself into (j). These items are nice to look at, and I hope they have fun, but seatbelts? Are you serious? I refuse to put seatbelts in a wagon, if a child falls out it is a part of childhood, if you fear for your child wrap them up in bubble wrap before putting them in the wagon.

I still have a metal wagon from years ago and it still works and is easier to put together than this. I hope the wagon will last for many years. I doubt it.

We got this on sale so it was like 12. 99 when i purchases it. I wish the string could be adjustable for making it longer or shorter if needed. It’s great for a little time use, because the handle became to short for my daughter to pull so we need to figure out something to make it longer so we can still use it! The handle turns so it’s great for pulling along.

We used it in the fall for picking up sticks. We will be cutting the string and putting a new one on to make it longer so we can still use it. We love this brand! It’s ideal for both indoor and outdoor play.

We love Green Toys! So sturdy and easy to clean, and you can tell they’re made with care. I don’t mind the price, because I know they’ll last and that they’re better for the environment. My boy has at least a dozen different ones!.

Received this as a gift and it has proven so useful. My child loves filling it up and pulls it around the house. Great size for a toddler. Wouldn’t suggest for over 4 years old.

Molded plastic body and handle are sturdy. Deep seating with high back and low floor makes it very comfortable for the kids, reassuring for adults. Wheels and axles are good enough for sidewalks and smooth terrain.

I gave 4 stars instead of five because the door fitment is a bit rough. You have to pick up pretty hard on the door itself while working the latch to get it open or closed. My kids can’t even work it.

Considering the price of the competitors models, this is, in my opinion, the best choice to pull the kiddo’s around.

I’ve read reviews on products for years and have never had the bad experiences people write about. until now. The first wagon arrived one week before my kid’s birthday, but had a crack in it so I returned it and ordered another the next day.

The second wagon arrived two days after my kid’s birthday. Bummer. I read about people having problems with screws and wheels falling off. It’s true and not due to operator error. One wheel keeps falling off.

I know it’s not me because the other three stay on. Everytime I take my kid for a ride around the neighborhood, I have to pack a hammer and pray it doesn’t fall apart in the middle of the road. Should be called junkmaster, not roadmaster.

Its a great product! The kids absolutely love it and it seems to hold up really well. Rolls easy even for the little ones pushing or pulling. The price was reasonable for the quality. I’m glad I purchased this wagon.

I have had some time to test out the new Keenz Class stroller wagon and compared it to our 7s wagon! First, the wagon was delivered at at time when it was raining hard. When my husband brought it later, I was relieved that it the packaging made it so that the parts were still there and in new condition.

Installation: I already own the 7s wagon, so I knew that the only things we needed to install were the wheels. The back wheels were easy to put on, and did not have the extra step of putting the axle on.

However, the front wheels were tricky – it was easy to put on, but I could not figure out how to take it off without the instructions. It was also easy to figure out how to put the canopy on. The instruction booklet also included what the strap on the handle was for: for locking up the stroller wagon to prevent it from popping up.

What was not included in the instructions were where to attach the canopy clip, and I had to venture a guess as to where that goes. Maneuverability: Compared to the Keenz 7s, the Class wagon is very stroller like, and I was happy that my kids did not have “assigned seating”, as in the heavier child need to be on top of the bigger wheels.

The push has been amazing and it helps that the wheels are already all-terrain. On smooth surfaces, the push outranks the 7s and really pushes like a stroller than a wagon, and the weight of my kids did not affect how hard I had to push.

Foldability: I love that the canopy and the tray can be folded with the wagon and the compactness allows us to fit it in a Honda Civic with the front wheels off (it helped that those front wheels can be taken on and off with ease).

Compared to the 7s, the compactness makes it a little more difficult to lift upright into the back of our minivan, with the weights being the same. Accessories: I love that the Class comes with a tray, which the 7s has been missing.

I also love that the basket is roomy and has the zipper that can be opened and then closed to prevent overfill of things from falling out (e. g. groceries). I look forward to whatever accessories Keenz comes out with for this wagon.

Overall, the Class wagon is perfect for our every day needs, and is definitely highly approved by our family!!.

The stroller is a beautiful light weight design. It’s easy to open and close. The tray table and basket are super convenient for holding things for you and your little one. Just a simple flick of the foot up or down engages the break.

Cons. An attachable cup holder on handle bar for the adults would of been great or helpful. The canopy slightly gets into the way when locking the stroller. Handle bar has a slight wiggle which makes the stroller feel less sturdy.

Shoulder straps need readjusting every time it is collapsed and reopened. Pushing on grass can be a little challenging. But overall a great buy. I can’t wait for more accessories to come out.

Purchased this for my 5yr old & 6 month old, but even my 7 & 9 year olds can use it when they don’t feel like walking. Extremely convenient and very well made. 10/10 recommend this wagon over others I’ve tried in the past.

I purchased this wagon for our weekly zoo trips, for my 18mo old daughter, and 12 mo old granddaughter. It fits in the trunk of my sedan, with room left over. I used to use a double stroller for them, but it was too big to fit through the doorways, without having to have help opening both doors.

With this wagon, I don’t have to struggle opening 2 doors we just open one and walk inside. I gave it 4 stars, because I do wish the canopy was a teeny bit wider, and that there was a 2nd storage compartment.

But the canopy does come off easily, and there are cupholders so that’s a plus. It had a cute little functioning door, but the kids never use it they just climb right over the sides. Lol.

Very nice wagon for small children. It will likely last long enough for a couple of children’s use. It probably isn’t a life long wagon it you want to keep it for your grand kids. Bigger school age kids could probably break it eventually with rough play or over weight, but it seems sturdy and safe for little ones with no fear.

It has many storage compartments for miscellaneous spare items such as bottles etc. It is well made, and everything fit together well. It took about an hour to assemble, and required typical hand tools such as a hammer, screw driver, adjustable wrench, and one ratchet and socket.

I am very mechanically inclined, and it took a modest amount of skill. There are a few self tapping screws that took more than usual amount of effort to screw in by hand. A power screw driver or drill with screw driver bit will make the installation much easier.

The instructions are average, but helpful in several cases because of unique Left hand and Right hand parts. All decals came pre-applied.

I found the assembly process annoying and confusing at times. The instructions are not very clear (just images and numbers). Also, the plastic could have been a little more durable. Very easy to scratch.

But the wagon itself is great! Very versatile! I recommend it, but just be patient when putting it together.

After light to moderate use for less than a week, The stitching is aleady coming undone and will need repairing. There is only one stitch line per seam and the thread is stretched and breaking at all stress points.

The foam on the handle is ripping and will require replacement soon. The canopy does not really work in the rain and sags creating a puddle in the middle and dumping it periodically on the inside of the cart.

I tried emptying the canopy rain puddle while walking, and it just dumped more water inside the cart everytime. The canopy snaps are. well they exist and help hold it on a tiny tiny little bit. But not really effective and the snaps come off for seemingly no reason while the stroller is in use.

The velcro loop on the bottom of the cart that attaches the shell to the frame is already completely ripped off and I will need to re-sew it on or fix it with a better replacement. The zippers on the side are reinforced with more badly made and cheaply stitched velcro strips that are already ripping off and will need replacement Overall, there are obvious cost saving measures on this product that are already breaking or broken.

It looks nice and rolls, but feels cheap and I’m annoyed to be fixing it already. I won’t purchase again, there are better options available.

I love love love this choo choo wagon train!!! I have 2 of my own little ones but I used to babysit 2 other children. I would take the little ones out for strolls around the neighborhood and they all love this thing and so do I! Assemble this thing is super easy! I also bought the trailer to go with this so I can at least do 3 children at a time.

This was perfect for the Halloween patch as we took it for both my little ones and end up using the trailer for holding the pumpkins. It was awesome! So many people has comment on it and we are so glad we got this.

It’s very handy if you have more than 2 children for sure and if you need 2 separate wagons for the little ones. This is perfect! Definitely recommend this to any one who loves to take strolls or take the little ones outdoor.

I love this choo choo wagan. It was the only thing I could think to buy my twin boys for their first birthdays. I bought all my other children ride ons for their first birthday and really wanted one for the twins.

I was so happy to come across this. They love going to rides out and about on it. And yes it does attract some attention. People find it very exciting.

Purchased with the 3rd wagon for triplets first birthday. Easy to assemble. Appears sturdy and safe. Deep seats with seatbelts. I can’t say anything yet about longevity for the wagon construction, but I think we will have a few years of great enjoyment and use.

The 1 year olds sat safely and securely in their own space and LOVED the ride. So did the adults watching. SOOOOO cute.

We had a keenz sw and decided to sell it and purchase a Jeep sw mainly because we were having our second child and the jeep sw offers the ability to clip on an infant carrier. I will say that is the only thing good about the Jeep sw compared to the keenz.

Once you’ve had a keenz you are truly spoiled. The Jeep sw has a much harder to turn frame. The wheels stick out further making it awkward to navigate in tight spaces. The handles do not go up and down easily so much that it took both my husband and I pressing buttons and tugging simultaneously in order to adjust the handle.

We ended up not even using the Jeep sw after 2x of use. Sold it and repurchased another keenz. The Keenz also has a storage compartment in the front that is so handy. Seriously don’t waste your time on another Stroller Wagon.

None other will compare to the keenz.

So pleased with this. We had it shipped to the UK as there is nothing comparable here. It has so many great features. It comes with a cool bag, basket one end with zipped compartment under it, storage pockets the other end, 2 5-point harnesses, 2 adjustable handles to push from either end, a removable canopy that opens to view on top and has 2 sides to pull down as sun shades.

It comes with a cup holder too which has no instructions how to attach unfortunately so I will look that up before I attempt it. It arrived in a good time with tracking from America to my door. This item cost more than my car insurance for the year but it is well worth it in my opinion.

It is great for now, with a 2 and 4 year old as I can get out the house easily with everything we need to go to local shop or the park when it’s warmer for picnics. Once they outgrow it we will be using it for days out at the park loaded with food, blankets and chairs etc.

I am 5 ft 1 and found the height of this absolutely fine to see over the top while pushing with canopy on. My children also fight over who is going to push it when theyre not in it as it is so light so very easy for them.

The 4 year old has managed to push it with the 2 year old in it! We have had many looks, smiles and comments in our local village when we have been out with our wagon and started up some lovely conversations with people.

I have pushed it over a muddy area which seemed ok. There was a gravel path I pushed it over with huge sharp stones on it. I didnt like how this felt on the wheels but slowed right down and it seemed ok then.

There are 2 swivel wheels at the front and bigger solid wheels at the back. We havent folded it down since weve had it but judging from the box it came in, it does fold down very small and when open seems quite long, I am yet to manoeuvre it round our local shop! My husband compared it to a trolley though 😀 I wish we got one sooner!.

I wanted to love the Keenz wagon, but so far, I have found very limited use for it. Word to the wise – this thing is huge and incredibly heavy. The wagon, completely folded up, barely fits into the back of our giant SUV and leaves almost no room for anything else.

It is only really useful for carting children around outdoors in very wide open spaces like the zoo, beach, or sports field. I would not recommend even trying to navigate broad sidewalks in a small town or city.

It’s unwieldy, does not steer well, and the canopy is both clumsily designed and only covers the kids if you’re outdoors right at noon. Any earlier or later and they’re getting fully blasted by sunlight.

There are a couple of pros – it can carry a LOT of stuff, one huge toddler, and one preschooler. Also, the kids love riding around in it, so we don’t have anyone squirming or trying to jump out.

I bought this to use as a gift basket for my grandson’s first birthday. I intended on putting a bunch of gifts (books, toys,clothes) inside and wrapping the whole thing in transparent wrap. Well, turns out it is tiny, but I thought I would put it together anyway and put some of the gifts in it.

I could not put it together! The screws were very loose and the red caps that go on the end of the wheel bar could not be hammered on. I tried and tried, but no luck! So I will not be using this. I’m so disappointed because it would have made a cute presentation!.

I was looking for a few bird feeders for the Arizona ground feeding birds, quail, doves, grackles, et cetera. WalMart had a lot of hanging feeders which were adorable, but would not work for these particular wild birds.

Then, oh, no, I had an idea! I had purchased two larger Radio Flyers for packaging presents, so I went on a hunt for smaller Radio Flyers. You had them! Got them about an hour ago. My husband put them together.

He said it was quite easy, by the way. And now these crazy birds are having some fun with their new Radio Flyer feeders. These are the perfect size for my ground feeders. We don’t have squirrels, so no worries there.

Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out. As a parent, my favorite part was that NO tools were needed to assemble this. My 3-year-old helped put it together; total assembly time was less than 10 minutes.

My son took this wagon and garden tools straight to the sandbox! The tools are a thick plastic and very durable. The top of the watering can is removable. The tools held up to the digging, raking, and shoveling sand into the wagon.

I bought this wagon for my grandson’s first birthday. I picked this model because it was supposed to be all terrain, so I thought it would be sturdy. Before we got it in the car to get to the party, the front wheel fell off.

It is only held on by a hub cap. It took us a half hour to find the hub cap. The wheel kept coming off. It was too late to return it, so we had to tell my son to glue on the hub caps as they were the only thing holding the wheels on.

I paid over 10 dollars for this model and was so disappointed and embarrassed to give it to my grandson.

Checked out several wagons. Daughter preferred one with a canopy. This one is a good size and sturdy. Appears well made. 2 and 4 year old grandkids fit in comfortably. Was easy to assemble. Arrived quickly but box was banged up a bit.

On if the tire valves was smashed in a bit, I wanted to call for a replacement but husband had already assembled it and didnt want to remove wheel to replace it. He seems to think it will still work but I hate to give a gift that is damaged in any way.

The tires are rubber and appear much more durable than the plastic tires on other wagons. Overall happy with wagon. ( I might still call about the damaged valve).

I use this wagon to pull and push (pushing is easier on my back) my almost two-year-old son. I already owned the Step2 All Around Wagon, but because it has “all-terrain” plastic wheels and wasn’t as easy to pull/push on gravel roads as I’d hoped I started shopping for a wagon with AIR in its tires.

That led me to this Radio Flyer All-Terrain Pathfinder Wagon with Canopy! Pushes and pulls easier than any other wagon I’ve tried. It’s still hard on my back to pull my son, but due to the handle being higher and pneumatic wheels pushing is much better in this Radio Flyer than with the Step2 wagon.

Assembly was easy. I had to get creative using a rubber-ended screwdriver as a prop to get the handle on. There should have been some tool included to use or maybe a different way to get it on. But you can improvise with a block of wood or something until you get it.

It wouldn’t prevent me from buying or recommending this wagon. The canopy is well made and easy to take on and off. If it only with it came with a bag to tuck it away in, I’d be a lot happier! Shipping was fast, but packaging could be better since there was slight damage to one of the connection points for the canopy sticks.

I was still able to get the stick down in the connection hole and it seems to hold fine, so I’m not worried with sending it back. Comparing this Radio Flyer wagon to the Step2 wagon I already own makes me wish the Radio Flyer had more built in compartments for adult drinks and a nicely tucked in drawer for gear.

Nevertheless, I recommend the Radio Flyer over the Step2 due to the pneumatic tires which makes it actually usable for someone with a bad back.
