20 Best Wagons For Dogs (2022 Updated)

I ordered this on Thursday and got in on Saturday afternoon. It came with two wrenches to put it together. I am a 44 year old petite woman and was able to put this together by myself. It was fairly easy for the most part.

The things I had trouble with was putting the rod in the roof. I had to flip it over and use gravity in my favor to put the rod in place along with the pin. Another thing that I didn’t see on the directions was the triangle bar that the small tire hooks to.

It took me a few minutes to figure out that the small tire has an attachment that unscrews and fits into the bar which hooks to the carriage. After that it was smooth sailing. I think the hardest part was getting the box inside and then taking the carriage out of the box.

I took it on its maiden voyage yesterday after assembling it. I took an old rug and put it over the small crevices that are open to keep my puppy from getting interested and digging at it. It really handled well on the sidewalks around my community.

We took a 2 mile walk and didn’t run into any issues and the carriage was relatively quiet. Thank you!.

I have had two major surgeries in the past year of COVID. My last dog is aging rapidly and can no longer go for walks of any distance so I hatched upon this plan to by a dog “buggy”. It is a beautifully made product with multiple screens and solid covers all which zip perfectly.

The wheels are large and the buggy turns on a dime. Sadly, I did not pay much attention to the size and width of the dog carrier and not only is it too wide for my old apartment doorways-it is also tough to maneuver up and down curbs and steps.

I overestimated my own recovery and I have compromised my own health trying to make this brilliant dog carrier work for my Lucky over the past two weeks. I cannot return it because a friend unpacked and assembled it.

I cannot use it easily and so, shoot! I thought I had made a wise decision for my beloved Lucky dog and myself. The buggy IS a beauty though. I have no idea what I will do with it! Your delivery was quick and I wish I could be 100% satisfied pushing my best friend around our city! THANK YOU!.

I love the stroller. It was delivered today and I immediately started to put it together. Although it is easy to assemble the instructions could have been better. It took me about 15 minutes to complete.

I have 2 ccpowderpuff dogs about 13lbs each and they love it. It rides smooth and the brakes are very helpful when leaving the stroller. I placed a good cushion under the padded inside because it is really thin.

It is bulky which I like for extra room. It will fit through a 36 inch door. I would like for it to collapse easily for placing in my trunk, but you will have to remove the wheels and handle bar. They just snap off and on.

I still love it. In order to allow the front wheel to swivel all the time, I removed the snap attachment. Now, I’m about to purchase a bike to use it as a trailer. I recommend and think it’s a great price for what you get compared to other name brands.

Absolutely saved our international trip! Traveling with rolling suitcases, an invalid husband and two dogs, these carriers made it possible to fly! The only thing I would fix is that the carrier hooks by Velcro to the wheels.

I would put the sticky part of the Velcro on the wheels and the other part on the carrier. The reason for this is that you have to scoot the carrier under the airline seat and with the “sticky” part of the Velcro on the carrier, it makes it difficult to move it under the seat, particularly when you’ve got a dog in the carrier.

Other than that, these are wonderful. I am sure they will be just as convenient when we head home.

We purchased this carrier for travel through airports and onboard. This carrier was perfect in size for our 2 Yorkie’s (5lb and 7lb). We were able to transport easily in the airports as well (wheel assembly great) as collapse easily when not in use.

The only modification we made was the removable board did not “completely” cover the bottom so my husband cut a new one and I made a padded reversible cover. There than that – workmanship is quality.

I have two cats: one weighs 20 lbs, the other 9 lbs. It was really difficult to carry them in separate carriers, especially the big one. I was looking for a carrier with wheels just to get them to the vet and back.

We don’t plan on flying. This is perfect. I can put both cats in this carrier. It’s a just a tad crowded with both of them , but they don’t seem to mind. I especially like that the wheeled platform comes off so I can put it in the backseat of my car and the wheels don’t damage the seat.

Pros: Collapses for compact storage. Lightweight, rolls easily.

After purchase/delivery, I discovered that the attachment used is made of rubber. After numerous attempts to communicate with the manufacturer, by me and my bike shop to see if there was a more durable alternative, my bike shop noticed that Burley offers a replacement part for said rubber piece.

I pressed on, now more suspect that this rubber attachment between my bike and the trailer holding, in my case my precious dog, would not last as they offer replacements. On my 3rd or 4th email to Burley, after not getting clarity on this part’s durability, when I raised this issue, I was finally told that “on page 15 of the owners manual, we suggest that this piece be replaced every 3 years”.

This confirmed my suspicions about their dubious prior and evasive non answers. My bicycles manufacturer’s rep also alerted me to this issue. Burley replied that they and other big brand name manufacturers use this method as well.

That gave me even less confidence. I have found other, higher weight capacity trailers, for ½ the cost, that do not have an attachment piece requiring replacement as they are made of steel, not rubber, which they know degrades over time.

I cannot believe that this is sold this way and there is no alert in big red lettering on page one of the owner’s manual. I shudder to think of those kids and dogs being towed around with a degradable/degraded attachment piece and having little to no idea it requires replacement/maintenance.

Burley should be making it crystal clear regarding the need to replace this part and not hide from doing so by either burying the point deep in the owners manual or evading the question when asked.

I’ve been looking for a bike trailer for my 50 lb dog for months and finally decided to purchase this one. The size is perfect for her to stand, sit, or lie down. It’s very easy to attach/detach from the bike.

It pulls very smoothly on various terrains (i. e. paved, small gravel, large gravel). The only complaint I have at this point is the weight of the trailer itself. By the time you add the trailer and your pet(s) you’re easily pulling an additional 80+ lbs of weight.

Otherwise, Burley did a great job with this product! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take their pet with them and can’t have them run along side the bike. Please just take the time to acclimate your pet to the trailer before taking them for a ride.

(I cannot speak to the use of this as anything other than a bike trailer as I have not used it in any other capacity. ).

So picked it up and assembly was simple, however the arm rail did not align. After looking at it the lower slot was not aligned to the first slot. So needed and Allen and once loose I was able to get it to align.

Be careful as the material is aluminum and if you over tighten it will strip (reason for only 4 stars). Moves very free and pulls very light. Have not have a change as of yet to take it for a ride as its been raining now.

I like the feature that I can push the dog like a stroller or leave in as a kennel while in an area I cant let him out at. I will add photos once I am able to use it on a trip.

I have been comparing stroller wagons for months now with this near the top of my list. The price was the only thing that had me hesitating. Well, with Z’s sale price, we took the plunge and I’m so glad.

It is the perfect wagon. We have a small child and two dogs. I don’t know who loves it more. Our English bulldog can’t walk long distances like our doodle so have way through a stroll, she gets to ride.

The assembly was easy and painless. All parts fit well and seem well made. It’s sturdy and has nice lines. We will absolutely be using this things for years.

I liked how easy this stroller was to use BUT I didnt get 10 feet out of my driveway before wheel fell OFF. It is very lightweight which in this case means cheaply made. The handlebar also broke on me.

I was bummed because I needed a dog stroller but this one didnt make the trip. I had to return it. Chewy great on return but still disappointing and a hassle. So buyer beware!.

I wanted a stroller for my little Maltese that would be sturdy, easy to move around and most importantly protect my little guy from bugs. I am so glad that I made this purchase as I am not disappointed at all.

He loves the spaciousness it provides him and the very first time that he was in it he slept like a baby (must have been the fresh air). I would purchase this again in a heartbeat.

HATED the flimsy, hollow plastic wheels. They feel about as rugged as an empty plastic milk jug. The rest of the design is fine. But those wheels are not going to last more than a month or two with regular, daily use.

Good thing I don’t use it more than a few times a month, so it might last a few months before the wheels wear thru and become useless. For the price, the wheels should have been more durable. Extremely disappointed with the wheels.

The design of the stroller itself, thou, was good. It was easy to put together. You have to attach the wheels. Too bad it couldn’t have better wheels. I do like the stroller itself, the design is nice.

I plan on filling the wheels with that expanding spray foam after they get chewed up from regular use so that it’s not a complete loss.

This is a great stroller for my elderly dachshund. Easy to assemble. Great value for the money. The only negative I see is the cup holder is not deep enough for a bottle of water. I hit a small bump and it fell out.

Cheaply made. The wheels fall off when used on the sidewalk. And, because it is a marketplace item is not as simple as taking it to Walmart to return. Wish I had shopped at Amazon.

Its been pretty easy using the stroller. I will say the 2 clips that lock the canopy to the front of stroller are pretty stiff right now. It’s still a new stroller. The company tells me those clips will get easier to unclip over time.

We have a puppy that doesn’t have all his shots yet. So he rides when we go on walks. Our other dog, a 14 lbs. loves to ride in it too. She also walks along side. When we go to flea markets & that sort of thing, they will both ride so they don’t get stepped on.

This stroller weight is overkill, but I didn’t need a car seat like the 50 lbs has. Plus it gives my 2 dogs plenty of room so they can both lay down if they want. We hang it in our garage to store it.

Recv my order timely. However, the product had a defect. Called customer service. Spoke with Martina. She was awesome. I sent her photos and video, and in 2nd call back, she agreed it was a defect. She sent me a return label for UPS.

It was closing in an hour 1/2; so, I brought it the big bulky box! For my inconvenience, she gave a free accessory. I took the organizer bag. The return was seamless and I felt Martina was sympathetic to me and really cared, that it was such an inconvenience!! 10Stars for customer service!!! Recv the 2nd box, timely, too! Within 3-days.

This time, everything was perfect. I read the instructions and in 20 mins, the stroller, was put together!! Read instructions! I did not need a video, to put it together! I love it. You can push it with one hand.

The wheels turn well. It goes over light gravel, with the big tires. Love, the many features, in this stroller. It’s for 2-fur babies: Bailey (Jack chi-16lbs. 17”-ish long) and Baxter (poodle mix 10lbs, 15”-ish long).

Bailey, likes to walk but at 10 year old, he gets tired now. I put him in the stroller, when he gets tired. Baxter, 10 years old, does not like to walk. They both fit great, in it together with room, to spare.

Stroller was well designed with quality materials and is easy to put together and use. A plastic wrap seems to be on the aluminum frame before assembly at the plant which does require some time to remove.

We have spent 18 of the last 20 months traveling in a RV and we wish that we had pulled the trigger on this stroller a long time ago. I got the pink camo one a couple years ago it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! Chloe has always done this thing in public where she wants to be carried, then she wants down to walk, then she wants to be carried again,.

Eventually, I got a carrier where she rides on my chest/belly. It still hurts my back but not nearly as badly as carrying her (12 lb can start to feel like 1200 lb after a while). It is a pain in the shpatootie to get her in though! When I found this stroller for a small fraction of what many other pet strollers cost, I jumped all over it! There were a few options in this price range but this one seemed to meet our needs the best it’s pretty! It has 2 little mini-leashes built in to hook onto a harness.

For less squirmy babies, you can use each leash on a different pet. Chloe is squirmy, strong, a jumper, so she requires both to be hooked onto her harness! I do have to keep my hand on it or she’ll jump tip it over.

I learned that when she tried to drag the stroller through PetSmart! 😂 At least it slowed her down so she was easy to catch. This stroller has 2 cupholders a little rectangular holder in between that’s great for a phone or something.

It also has a good sized material basket on the bottom that’ll hold her backpack, my purse, shopping bags, etc. The soft pad lining the stroller isn’t secured, so it tends to stay scrunched up in the back if I even leave it in the stroller.

It has a little red doohickey that holds it together when folded up. It’s very easy to open close! It’s also very lightweight easy to pack get in out of the car! We’ve taken this stroller to the store, to restaurants, to a park, to all kinds of fun places on vacation! It can zip completely up (perfect for restaurants) or be unzipped with or without the sun shield.

Even when totally zipped, there are (zippable) mesh windows, so she can easily see out! If I find the video of her literally standing on her hands donkey kicking to try to get out to get to our food at a restaurant, I’ll post it!.

I really needed something classy to walk with my two furry beast. My shih tzu has some back problems that make her back legs lean so she can’t walk long. I also have a kitten with the most adorable long legs so I don’t want the cat to get fat.

The jogger allows me to walk longer and I can switch out my two babies, letting one walk while the other rides. I work long hours so when I am home I want them to be with me as much as possible. We are not going to be the fat family.

Everything is great except putting it together because the directions don’t match plus it takes tools to take it apart and put it back together. Thankfully my best friend fiancé took care of it in about half an hour.

Overall it’s sturdy, trendy and big enough for a medium size dog but it is smaller in the carrier area but two small pets or one medium sized dog will fit.

The quality is comparable to the price. One of the plastic rings to secure the seat to the bottom frame was already broken so I couldn’t use it. It feels very delicate, I can’t jog or rollerblade with this thing or this dog.

It is perfect for elderly pets. It’s roomy, I had both my dog (16lbs) and cat (18lbs) in there for a short stroll and it worked fine.

I wanted to love this when I ordered it, but the fabric carriage’s grommets were installed asymmetrically on the metal frame, so that carriage is lopsided, the front wheels frequently don’t track well (like a supermarket cart with wheels turned sideways), and the directions were useless for me, so I used the ad picture for installation reference.

Impossible to tell whether the back wheels that were pre-attached to the lateral support should be attached up or down. I tried both ways and took a chance. Fortunately, my dog is not critical and loves to ride in it! The zipper is very difficult to line up, close and open, and may not work for long due to the stress on it from misaligned carriage fabric.

The accompanying “crib pad” is a plus. I ordered black, but it is trimmed in navy, adding to its cheaply made appearance. A plus is its “crib pad” made of the sheepskin look alike fabric that many pet beds are and that animals love.

I don’t want the hassle of returning it and possibly having the identical problem on a replacement, so I will keep it. It arrived two days earlier than stated and politely delivered by Fedex driver who knocked on the door to announce its arrival.

We ordered this stroller for my bichon so he could get outside for longer during his recuperation from paw surgery. He fits in perfectly and enjoys the view. It’s easy to put together, folds down by releasing the side clips, and so far has been perfect for longer walks on fairly smooth sidewalks.

The removal pad inside makes for a comfy ride. Expect we will still use it once he’s fully recovered.

Easy to assemble, you don’t need tools. Just attach wheels and the top cup holder tray. Back wheels have locks. Its roomy inside. Has nice storage room at the bottom. 2 cup holders near handles with a small tray to hold keys, etc.

I have a 9 lb Papillon and she has room. Folds up quick and easy. Only thing I’m not happy about is the wheels at the front, be careful pushing stroller, if you hit a bad bump it can tip over if you are not holding the handles steady.

Wife and I live on an upper apt floor and picked this up to help transport items to and from the parking garage to the front door. It has been a welcomed utility and has saved me from hauling grocery bags in several trips back and forth.

Pros: good size for a lot of bags and boxes, grocery / retail. materials seem sturdy for our uses handle is comfortable Cons: wheels are not all flush with the ground without a load – this leads to the one squirrly wheel like a shopping cart back wheels came slightly toed out.

wrench and a little twist can correct wheels have good aggressive tread, but are hard rubber and narrow which might make things rough through muddy conditions.

I will compliment Fingerhut on their honesty. Within a few days I was notified that they were out of the product I ordered and that I had been refunded the money that I had paid via my debit card. I have seen the Coleman Collapsible Camp Wagon in various stores and it is a well built wagon and if Fingerhut gets it in again I will order it as it is just what I need for hauling my purchases from my car to my third floor apartment.

Plus it is perfect in the fact that it is collapsible so it will be easy to store in my apartment when not in use. I also can use the wagon to take my trash down to the dumpsters when I need to haul the stuff down.

I am still hoping to purchase the wagon from Fingerhut. hopefully they’ll get them back in?.

This Coleman Camp Wagon is a great durable wagon. It is great for hauling gear to the beach or while camping but it is also great for hauling grocery items. My twin toddlers love taking turns to sit in it and even then it has plenty of room for storing other items.

I like that it can be folded and stored standing or lying down. It is not heavy at all so easy to put just in the back of your car. The removable and reinforced bottom and the steel frame are making this wagon feel sturdy.

It is so handy to have on hand for camping and other outdoor activities. The rubber wheels are great for handling gravel, sand or any other texture. The wagon really can hold a lot of items. We are storing it in the back of our car so we always have it on hand when we need it on trips and outings.

A great balance between large and heavy duty and very compact to carry in your car or to store away. Highly recommend it!.

The delivery was quicker than expected which exceeded my expectations. Initially I had an issue while placing the order where a discount voucher didn’t update, Modern Pets kindly canceled the order & refunded the higher amount so that I could re-input the order and pay the lesser amount.

This was greatly appreciated. Saroo loves his new carrier. It has more windows for him to see out of. His maiden voyage was hilarious, He meowed all the way (1 block) because he wasn’t used to the sensation of being wheeled.

On the return trip he was silent. The trollet is so much easier to use than his cat cage. It is easy to wheel and is so light.

This pet carrier is a real back saver when transporting a pet, especially a cat, to the vet. No more lifting or carrying a heavy pet cage. The cat is easily put into the carrier, zipped up and off you go.

A definite must have for all “cat parents” especially those of mature years. It did require assembly which at times was rather fiddly but we got there in the end. My order arrived very promptly and I would not hesitate ordering again from Modern Pets or recommending them.

it is light weight and is easy to pull along. The cat cage I used before was heavy to carry because Saroo was a dead weight in it. It is so much easier to take him to visit people. I can walk rather than having to drive.

This is the worst. Not sure how the engineer that designed this let it out of his sight. Cheap cheap cheap. Basic ergonomics were overlooked. Short handle. I’m 5’-9” so basically as average as it gets.

The handles is extremely short. The handles is attached by these two bars that make no sense. All they do is provide a loose connection point alloying the wagon the track side to side as you walk. FN ridiculous.

Dumpster time. Her goes $60 and my pride. I thought I was better than this type of oversight in purchasing.

I bought this to haul all our gear to and from lacrosse tournaments and our town pool. It holds a lot of gear but the handle length is ridiculously short. I honestly don’t know how this passed approval to be mass produced.

Whoever is in charge of quality control should be fired. I’m average height for a woman and I have to bend down to reach the handle. It’s a perfect fit for my 10 year old daughter. It’s ridiculous.

A lot of these features from this cart are good. The size is nice and it feels very roomy. The color is nice too. The wheels are not grippy and wide but they are okay and they do the job. It has several pockets which is nice, but the quality of the side pockets are questionable.

I have only had this cart for 3 weeks and one of the straps that connects to the top of the cart already broke. Something else that does not work properly is retracting the handle. It is hard when you push the button to try to get it to go down and you end up getting pinched.

The frame looks nice but looks thinner and weaker compared to other carts out there in the market. Maybe this cart is okay for light use and those who would use it rarely. I say this cart is okay but we’ll see how much longer it lasts.

Holy this cart is a packing mule! There are many features that allow it to carry more efficiently than other collapsible carts (ie. Pool noodles on the side with the buckle/straps). It turns on a dime and the wheels are a good quality where you don’t have that loud plastic sound you’d get from a child’s wagon on any surface whether it’s pavement or gravel.

I brought this because we live only 10 minutes from the beach, but when taking the grandchildren with us the number of things we needed to take was too much to carry. This wagon worked out perfectly and holds everything from our beach tent & chairs, toys, food, towels, and games.

It is sturdy and has multiple attached pockets for storage. I would highly recommend this wagon.

This wagon is sturdy and ideal for an old lady to save many trips to and from the car. The cost on Monoprice was less than similar wagons without the all-terrain wheels. I do a lot of kayaking, so this wagon is ideal for beach or lakefront.

It seems as if it would be easy to clean as well. It folds up nicely, and the self-contained carrying case keeps it compact when stored. Highly recommend.

The wagon looks like on your picture. It is sturdy, I like the way the front wheels are attached, it makes it easy to maneuver. I also like the cover to keep the wagon folded, when not in use. However I would suggest to provide some retractable metal piece or L shape handle attached to the frame so when the wagon is folded it will keep in an upright position.

Also the wheels could be better quality.

I bought this cart specifically for transporting gear along the beach. It does do a better job in the sand than a comparable folding cart with thinner wheels that I had bought at Costco for $50. But it’s not as good as I had hoped.

Wheels still sink deep into the sand and the handle is short which makes dragging it cumbersome. Also, the wheels feel cheap (hard plastic) and are annoyingly loud when on pavement. I expected better for over hundred dollars incl.

tax.

Purchased for beach trip and was overall satisfied, but did not exceed expectations. Product rolls easily on grass, dirt, gravel and wet sand. However, the swiveling wheels tend to plow in dry, powdery sand when weighted down with a lot of stuff.

They also don’t swivel as well when they get sandy, so they have to be hosed out really good. Overall satisfied with the quality and price, and it still made it much easier to haul everything to the beach every day.

Product is fairly lightweight and collapses easily for storing.

Good for hauling your gear to festivals that involve camping far from your car. This one accommodated my 10L water jug, case of other drinks, bag with festival garms (clothes), hat box and thermarest, strapped down with bungie cords (sold separately).

Slightly smallish so pair with a hockey bag for your tent, tarps and camping chair so you can set up and get to the party straight away without multiple trips! Happy hauling!.

I like this wagon and I got it on a good sale, so it was a great price. It is a little shallow, but I decided that, for me, a lighter wagon that was a little smaller would be better than a larger one that is heavier.

I mainly use it for chairs, bags when I go to soccer games. It’s good for that, but you need to make sure the chairs are angled in first or they will fall out. I have a smaller car and this is no problem to fit in and take with me wherever I want to go.

This thing is a workhorse. Large interior space, well built, rugged large all terrain wheels. Be aware that it is heavy to lug around when not opened for use. This thing is large and built like a beast.

We love it and it’s exactly what we needed. We use it to carry, a cooler, beach gear, 2 – zero gravity lounge chairs and 2 large inflatable (deflated) kayaks. This cart handles all that across grass, gravel paths and across rocky/sandy beach terraine easily.

As I said, does exactly what we needed it to do.

If this is ‘heavy duty’ then the ‘standard duty’ must be made out of cardboard. Expanded metal is only about 1/16 thick (maybe). Fitup of walls is pretty flimsy. Hardware was pretty bad quality and some pieces were missing (like the oil seal on one of the bearings and one bolt).

Having said all that, I’m OK with it for the price. It will still transport stuff from here to there. I added a piece of marine plywood I had to the deck (probably cost more than the cart) and that stiffened everything up nicely.

I’d still buy it again but it would have to be a very good sale next time.

Well designed all metal good welds, good paint, good tires. easy assembly. What more can I say. I am pleasantly surprised in the value of this cart. I also purchased a 45 gallon trash can and it fits into it perfectly w/o dropping the easy drop sides (nice feature on this cart) You will need a large 7/8 in.

or metric equivalent to tighten down 4 large bolts. also, tires require inflation (standard tire nipple) I love this cart. Will last me a lifetime.

I have TWO of these wagons! They are the BEST! It’s sturdy! It’s deeper than any other!!! Highly recommend this for sports, beach, and weekends!!! We absolutely LOVE our wagons! Great gifts!!!!

Great fold up wagon! It held 2 of my Yeti coolers and other items. The wheels were awesome. I used it on both the grass and the ramp to a boat dock. So happy that this wagon did what I expected it to do.

I purchased straps and also a web to hold my items in my wagon.
