20 Best Water For Houseplants (2022 Updated)

I have used Miracle-Gro for years and these singles for three years. They do a great job and I highly recomment. Target has the best price, ships quickly. Give it a try and I am sure you will ot be disappointed.

My plants have double the blooms of any in my neighborhood.

I bought a home in a retirement facility in the Fall of 2012 & I’ve had to rebuild a front lawn from sand patches & overgrown & bug infested grass. My neighbor didn’t think I would be successful in doing so because I am a elderly woman living alone.

I’ve used MiracleGro for my plants for many years with great success but never used MiracleGro for lawns until I bought this home. Needless to say, shortly after I fed the few grass patches & after applying seed to the sandy soil, my new lawn began to look pretty good to my neighbors.

That was towards the end of Fall 2012, three years ago. I kept feeding it with MiracleGro throughout the 3 years during growing season. It was the following year, in 2013, that people would drive by & remark how beautiful my lawn was.

Even through the drought last summer here in Massachusetts, my lawn stood out as beautiful. All thanks to MiracleGro and your other great Scoot products. Thank You.

This product is easy to use in that you have individual singles that you just add to water in your watering can. They are proportioned out to be just enough for your watering can. I can use one or many depending on which plants need to be fertilized at the time.

Miracle-Gro is aptly named , it is really a miracle product that when used diligently give amazing results to my plants. Sometimes I only have just so much time to fertilize my plants and certain ones need more than others,.

This allows me to do that by just putting a single feeding in the watering can.

I only add a enough to individually water each plant. Less than a quarter. Not a full can. Easier to slow pour. Bought one for my garden, and 2nd for my sister in laws for her garden. Early Christmas gifting.

It is so beautiful it’s like a piece of art very well-made – instead of a nail or a screw holding on the handle it’s all one piece that the water goes through so it should last a lifetime. Brilliant ! Even my husband remarked about how well-made this was and he usually thinks everything is junk from outside the United States.

I wanted a product to keep my outdoor plants fed. Due to the over sensitivity of some plants when integrating solid fertilizers into and disturbing the soil in the past, I wanted to give a liquid plant food a try.

So far, this product has worked great on all my outdoor plants. Some of the plants I on which I have used it are primrose, dianthus, morning glory and others. They always react will to the feeding and are all doing very well.

I would recommend this product. The bottle is 8 oz. and the mixture required, according to the instructions on the bottle, is 1/4 teaspoon per quart.

I look forward to using this product. Have been using Miracle Gro liquid plant food drops but it does not seem to be on the market any longer. Plan to use this fertilizer for indoor plants. I would give it a higher rating if I had started using it.

No complaints on the product. Big complaint on the shipping. It was shipped by US mail in a bubble wrap package with a piece of tape over the top of the lid. When I opened the bubble wrap it had leaked out 1/3 of the product.

I use these for those plants that dry out too quickly, as well as for vacation watering. It has prevented many tiny plants from drying out due to smaller pots. I found it also makes great gifts for people who love plants, but also want to vacation and not worry about their special plants.

They do draw water into the planter but not at a fast enough rate to keep the plant watered. I still end up adding water about every day. Probably should just go with the regular not the Jr.

I am so glad that Staples sells this water, and that it is able to be delivered! I had spent a long while looking for a place that is able to ship it to the western U. S. Although, sadly even though the water is very delicious, the way it is shipped leaves quite a bit to be desired.

When it arrives, it is in terrible shape. Like another Reviewer posted, it is usually taped over by UPS. Thankfully all of my bottles have arrived safely, but it worries me every time I purchase it. Since I don’t know if it will survive shipping.

Other than that, the water is some of the best I have ever had. Poland Spring definitely has a dedicated buyer here!.

the sorong water from origin is much better than their soarkling water! i luke thee taset of this variety and wonder what they did to it to give the soarkling variety the lavk of any raste at all. i will buy the soring water from irigin in the tuture, if the individual bottles are sold but orobably jot a larger oackage because of the uogh cost.

The water is okay, the bottle is nice looking and substantial, but the product box is not up to the rough handling of shipment. I’ve ordered this maybe 3-4 times and every time the product box has broken open during shipment.

The one I received yesterday had a bottle that leaked about half a cup under the pressure, getting the product box soggy and the shipping box wet too. If the packers would just tape the product box that would help.

They sometimes tape the 12-packs and that works, but so far none of my shipments have had the 8-pack product box taped.

Some of the openings are larger than others – a little annoying, but they all work well and are pretty. In response to reviews Ive read saying theyre hard to use, there is a bit of a learning curve, but its really very simple.

I find the easiest way to fill them is to run the faucet at a very low level so all the water can run into the opening. If you run the faucet at full, you actually get less water in at a time and takes much longer.

For those complaining about how they get clogged with dirt, they can be unclogged easily. Sometimes they come with a cleaner for that purpose. If they dont, shish kabob skewers work wonders. Then stick it back in the dirt in the same place – no more dirt clogging it.

I needed this to make a bait for yellow jackets. My granddaughter had a nest at her home and placing several regular yellow jacket traps near the entrance of the nest had no effect, they ignored it. I found an article on a website outlining a mixture using these crystals with water drained from canned chicken plus additional water and a special insecticide.

The water crystals absorb the mixture which the yellow jackets assume is meat because of the texture and smell. They chew off pieces and carry it back to the nest to feed the colony. In a few days there was no more activity and the entrance to the nest was sealed up.

Love this product! I live in the South, super hot & humid summers. I have many potted planters accenting my patio’s and porches. I mix this product in my potting soil then plant my pots. With this product even in the hottest summer months I only need to water my pots 1 time a day.

This product saves me time and money.

I just found out about this product last year and tried it out. I was so impressed at how well it kept the soil moist. Now this is a must have every spring when I plant my flowers. Works wonderful on hanging baskets and potted plants.

It only takes a little bit so the bag lasts a long time.

I am blessed with a sunporch that gets the morning sun from the east which affords my plants the best start for the day. I am an amateur indoor gardener but I religiously use Miracle grow plant food every other week on all my plants.

I use a mounded plastic watering can with a longer pointed snout which makes it possible to direct your watering exactly where you want it to go. I use the liquid Miracle grow plant food exactly as per the directions on the back of the pump bottle: 4 pumps per quart of water.

If you use the watering can mixing method you get the exact amount of Miracle grow needed for each plant. (4 pumps of Miracle grow per quart of water. ) Then water each plant according to the plants need and size.

A GREAT TIP FOR THE AMATEUR INDOOR GARDENER: USE THE INTERNET TO GET THE SUGGESTED GROWING TIPS FOR EACH PLANT. This way you get instructions on just how moist your individual plant needs per week. Example: an orchid plant uses much less water than a Lily Pad Begonia.

Soon after using this plant food on my beautiful 4 foot very healthy and very green dracaena (an indoor cane plant) that I’ve had for over 2 years, the leaves turned brown and yellow and one of the stems drooped down and all the leaves on it died.

I only used the product once, following their instructions. More leaves continue to turn yellow then brown. After I called in to their 888 number, and was on the phone for almost a whole hour, the rep said she could not offer me anything to compensate for the loss of my plant except an apology.

Really regret even trying this fertilizer. So unhappy. My poor plant!.

These are the best accessories for your plants. my plant was dying and had lost most of its leaves. I didn’t want to repot it because the plant had already grown, but I didn’t want it to die either. Buying the Miracle Grow Indoor Plant Feeders was a last ditch effort to save this guy and it worked! Fertilizer sticks are easy to use, just push them into the soil and water.

Your plants will flourish once you start feeding them these little guys. I highly recommend this product for healthy, happy plants and for plant owners who don’t want to repot!.

This metal watering can is very well-made, and light-weight but strong. I want to stay away from buying plastic, and this watering can is just a reminder of why that’s a great idea! It holds a perfect amount of water, the long neck allows you to get right through the plant and down to the soil.

First day received it I filled it with water at it leaked from the neck if the spout. A lot. Description does not indicate is is a decorative item. Will request a full refund.

This is the BEST water EVER! I don’t even know how to articulate it into words – it is that damn good! It’s water, but without that “water” taste that makes it hard for people (like me) to drink water everyday.

It’s definitely water – but it’s unlike anything I had ever had before. I can proudly say, water is now my FAVORITE thing to drink all day, everyday – but ONLY if it’s Waiākea Water!!! My friend tried to describe the taste, too, and he said, “Do I dare say it tastes like “crisp dry water”, lol?” It really does have the most amazing taste, so take my word for it, and TRY IT! I have to force myself to drink water, because I just don’t like it. My body even feels as if it rejects it sometimes. If I had a choice, I wouldn’t drink water at all. At least, that’s how I felt before i tried this brand of water.

I know we have to drink water for our body to function properly, so I have no choice but to force myself to drink it. I tried Waiakea water by accident while shopping at Wawa recently, and I loved the taste.

I received one as a gift. I love it! I have two plants that are placed away from my smaller plants. They are actually like trees now. I sometimes forget them when I an watering other plants. Now I don’t have to worry if I miss them.

They are perfect. I must also remark how lovely they look in my plants. It is totally art with a duty.

My expensive houseplant was looking very sick but within a week I could see an improvement. Leaves stopped sagging and new shoots appeared.

It works to keep flies under control. Have tried several brands and the others had no effect.

Great product, plants love it will buy again when needed

I placed an order for 2 monstera deliciosa, a money tree, and a snake plant after a friend of mine recommended this nursery. all the plants arrived super sick and nearly dead, riddled with spider mites and powdery mildew, I sent photos and complained that I didn’t pay nearly $200 to nurse plants back to health.

so they offered to send a replacement order, which I accepted (now I realize that was a mistake) the replacement order came, AND THEY WERE IN EVEN WORSE CONDITION. I reached back out, and all they had to say was “we will send you another order” so, at this point, they offered to send me a 3rd order just to get me to go away.

I asked for a refund or at least a gift card but said I would settle on a replacement even though I knew it would ALSO arrive in similar condition. Then a few days later some other person reached out saying they in fact cannot replace my order (which was fine, I did not want more diseased plants) but they wanted to offer me a 15% discount.

I was told one thing, and then later told they cannot hold up to their word. But are you kidding me?!?! 15% discount for numerous hours of my time attempting to nurse these plants back to health and rid them of pests and fungus? LIKE, WHAT?!?! Not to mention to additional expenses I had to spend on fungicides, etc.

I declined that offer because of how disrespectful it was. Oh, and to top it off, 2 weeks after the first order arrived I found powdery white mildew and spider mites on ALL my plants in other parts of my house.

So, now I am having to treat dozens and dozens of house plants because this company sent me sick and diseased plants with pests. At the end of the day, I accepted a 25% refund and vowed to leave a bunch of negative reviews.

Which, apparently, there were already a lot of, so I should have done a little more research before placing an order. This company is a joke, they will lie to you and just want you to go away, their plants are an even bigger joke which is incredibly sad, please do yourself a favor and stay far far away.

Oh, that friend who recommended them? ALSO, received pest-ridden and diseased plants.

Ordered snake plant in a gallon pot. Received snake plant in 6-inch pot. Plant was also packaged poorly, as the plant and soil were outside of the pot and loose in a bag. Finally, pot was not decorative (per the illustration).

Gift fell short of expectations. Will not be a return customer.

By the time my order arrived the plant was in bad condition. My of the leaves were ripped or dead and the stem/vines were broken. It’s not in good condition and I’m trying to revive the plant. Its not worth ordering these plants if they arrive in this condition.
