20 Best Water For Skin (2022 Updated)

This product is great for dry skin. It really leaves skin feeling moisturized and reduces flakiness. Some people have complained that it is difficult to apply, but it is no different than applying a thick zinc sunscreen that takes some time to absorb (applying to a damp face really helps).

From my perspective, this product is a step up from Dermalogica’s Intensive Moisture Balance Moisturizer. That said, 50 ml of this product costs double ($124 +tax) the amount of Intensive Moisture Balance ($64 +tax), and I’m not sure that this product is worth the additional cost.

The product does not leave my skin significantly more moisturized than Intensive Moisture Balance. Additionally, I still wake up in the morning with dry patches and flaking skin around my mouth after applying it at night.

If you’re mindful about cost but worried about dryness, then use Intensive Moisture Balance and apply 100% pure jojoba oil on top. Jojoba is very similar to sebum (the oil your body naturally produces), so it is usually safe for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin (like myself).

I received this Super Rich Repair complimentary from Dermalogica in exchange for my review. Let me start by saying I absolutely love Dermalogica. I’ve tried several products in their line and they’ve all been fantastic, quality products.

This moisturizer was no different. The bottle is sleek and classic and feels good in my hand. The pump works great and I love that I don’t have to dip my fingers into a jar to get the product out. This definitely cuts down on the risk of bacteria being introduced into the product and I really appreciate this.

A little bit of the product goes a long way so one or two pumps suffices for me. I use this in the morning and at night but I have very dry skin. I would recommend someone with normal skin to just use this at night to avoid making your skin greasy or oily looking.

But for those with dry skin, twice a day is fine. I mix it with my foundation in the morning and that’s been working great. There hasn’t been any pilling at all. I love this product so much. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

This is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used!! I wish it wasn’t so expensive but I will be purchasing it as long as I can ! It makes your skin moistures without feeling heavy , thick or sticky. I definitely have soft glowy skin after using this that does not look greasy.

It wears so well under my foundation everyday and my skin looks better since using this and the vitamin c serum for the last few months. I don’t usually use a full pump during the day as I feel too much comes out so I use a little less (3 mini pumps).

FYI : I’m 38 but everyone thinks I’m in my early 20’s. That’s not due to this product but this product definitely helps as I’ve been getting carded more often since using it and it really does make your skin look more youthful while wearing it.

If you want a no-frills lightweight summer moisturizer for your combination skin, Boscia’s Cactus Water Moisturizer is a good choice. It has “Queen of the Night” Cactus Succulent in the ingredients, which rejuvenates, nourishes, and rebounds dry skin while also imparting intense moisture.

A little goes a long way, so this jar has lasted me forever. I like the water gel texture and how easily it glides onto my face. Plus, this product was an absolute miracle worker when I got a bad sunburn on my face a month ago, it was so soothing and it helped my skin heal without peeling.

This moisturizer isn’t heavy, it works well with other products, and it hydrates my skin really well both morning and night. However, it does leave a bit of sticky/tacky feeling on your skin that takes awhile to go away.

Thankfully it doesn’t pill up underneath makeup, but it isn’t quite as smooth of a feel after absorbing as I usually like. For this reason, I give 4 stars. Would still recommend it though!.

This is a great product IF you don’t slather it on. I use in the evenings. First, I remove my eye makeup with wet n wild under the sheets makeup wipes or coconut oil. Then, I remove my face makeup using the Avant Biphase Micellar Water.

I next cleanse with an acne wash with a 2. 5% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and tone with a toner that I buy from a natural skincare company that’s composed of apple cider vinegar and herbs. I apply my retinol treatment and let that dry, waiting about 1 minute before moisturizing with the Boscia cactus Water moisturizer.

I then pat, not rub, this moisturizer into my skin. I pat it lightly onto all areas of my face and neck. less is more. You need to start with a pea sized amount and if you need more, add it. This gel moisturizer contains a LOT of really skin loving ingredients and it may be thick and can be tacky if it’s gooped onto your skin.

Using sparingly and pressing or patting into my skin, I find the slight sticky sensation it leaves behind disappates in less than a minute and find there to be no pilling or build up. You can also use a thicker layer as a sleeping mask.

I was nervous to try this after reading the reviews but I have to disagree with most of them! I layer this moisturizer over a gel-serum and use a sunscreen overtop, plus my makeup and I have zero issues with it pilling.

In fact, I really enjoy the tacky texture underneath makeup because it serves as a really good primer (think the Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip primer). I think you just have to make sure your other products are water based like this one is.

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I think it could be a little more hydrating, but I run more dry-combo than oily-combo, so I think I’ll enjoy it more during the humid months.

So I’m in my 20’s and was introduced to this cream my first year of college in 2020 by a suitmate and I fell in love. This is my hands down favorite moisturizer!!! In fact I just bought another tub. I refuse to buy it anywhere else except Walmart as they sell it at the lowest price compared to any other site or store I’ve seen so far most importantly it’s authentic.

Yes It’s pricey as a student on a budget trust me I know; however, you get a nice size tube and a little goes along way!! The product feels like thick water, goes on smooth/soothing especially when chilled, absorb fast and deep into the skin, it’s also light as if nothing is on but your skin’s left feeling plump and pours doesn’t get clogged up; furthermore, the moisturizing length last for hours and this product has almost no fragrant.

I’ve never broken out or had a bad reaction to this cream as I tend to go towards products sensitive skin friendly. I think this moisturizer would be good for all ages starting at teens, male or female and for beginners/experienced lovers of skincare.

A staple in my skin care regime. It’s a very silky gel texture, and absorbs almost immediately, no residue or weirdness. I use it morning and night, and always follow it up with a hydrating spritz to allow the hyaluronic acid to absorb and lock in even more moisture.

I feel like my skin drinks it up every time, and I love it. Ever since I had my son, I went from a grubby oil slick, to extremely dry dry skin. This has been my holy grail since discovering it. That being said – it’s important to understand the job of this moisturizer…it’s to HYDRATE your skin.

By hydrating, it will help reduce to appearance of fine lines – but this is NOT a targeted treatment. Many people complained it doing to this or that – but that’s because it’s not designed to do anything but hydrate your skin – which is does FABULOUSLY.

I’ve reccomended this to quite a few people, and they’ve all thanked me over and over for discovering it. This is a super gentle formula, and would work wonders for literally any and all skin types. Fun fact: Hyaluronic acid has the ability to absorb 1000x it’s weight in water!!.

Meh, what can I say– personally I think it’s a bit of a gimmick to sell water in a spray can. Not only is it wasteful for our environment, but it’s not really a necessary step in your routine. I get that water in spray format might come in handy with makeup, and that’s about the only time I’ve found this to be truly helpful.

It is nice to spray a bit on your blending sponges or on your brushes to help the product ‘stick’ provide a more ‘translucent’, even finish. Other than that, this product doesn’t contain any ingredients that are going to ‘tone’ your skin or provide really any beneficial skincare progress.

Instead of adding an unnecessary product to your routine, just dip your brushes/sponges in tap (or filtered) water for the same effect. I personally prefer to stick to a true ‘toner’ that is pH balancing and meant for treatment vs.

I love this stuff certainly enough to give it 5 stars. My skin seems to react well to oceanic skin products, things with algae and such. And it benefits greatly from this #moisturizer, my skin looks much clearer (mild #acne was cleared up faster than with products specifically for acne).

It does its job moisturizing too, my skin doesn’t feel dry on it. Or greasy or oily. It’s got a weird consistency though. It’s almost more like putting on some kind of gel, I prefer cream moisturizers.

I haven’t used any CoverGirl products in a very LONG time. Not that I am against using drugstore products by any means as I use a mixture of luxury and drugstore products regularly. However in all honesty, CoverGirl is just a brand that I have never really been particularly drawn to.

That being said, I don’t think I’ve EVER tried a skincare product by them. When I received this COVERGIRL Clean Fresh Skincare Voxbox, I was very excited yet also quite intrigued to trial the products.

I found the to have a very nice and light but more gel like texture (rather than cream as labeled) that applied and absorbed easily into the skin. It seems to be quite effectively hydrating without leaving you shiny, feeling oily, or too heavy.

This water cream was definitely moisturizing, lightweight, and my skin did hold that moisture in well but not for the 72 hours as advertised. 72 hours of hydration from a facial moisturizer seems borderline impossible but maybe my opinion of that is invalid given my combination skin can dry out quite easily.

Regardless, it’s hydration benefits were impressive and most definitely exceeded my expectations by far. I was also impressed with the included natural and clean ingredients advertised. like the “TRUCLEAN Cactus Water” with hyaluronic acid.

Unfortunately, upon reading the FULL ingredient list I was rather disappointed that this product didn’t stand up to my standards to be considered “clean”. The ingredients list is rather long and includes parfum/fragrance.

I have found the shorter the ingredient list is, the higher the probability of the product being truly “clean” is (IF those listed are good ingredients ofcourse). I prefer for my skincare products to be free of fragrance especially those that stay on the skin (toner moisturizer, primer, etc.

). The fragrance isn’t such a deal breaker for products that aren’t meant to stay on the skin like a cleanser that is rinsed off immediately. Considering this is a moisturizer that is clearly intended to stay and be absorbed into the skin for an extended period of time, I am not happy with the fragrance being added.

When it comes to the full ingredient list, I am also not so happy with some particular ones included. Therefore, for those out there looking for a truly clean product I wouldn’t advise using it. If that isn’t of concern to you, then I would definitely recommend trying this product as it was very effective, lightweight, long lasting, and ofcourse budget friendly! I am really disappointed that this product isn’t as “clean” as reported since it truly worked so well for me, I actually liked how it felt on my face (smooth and plump without being sticky or shiny) and is affordable while easily accessible at almost any local drugstore.

After finishing a $34 bottle of rose, Hibiscus and coconut water blend, I was struggling to find something good for less. I briefly tried a Trader Joe’s blend that is full of Witch Hazel. which I honestly think is the product that began destroying my pre-teen skin decades ago.

so I used that once and kept looking. The reason I use rose water is to mix with oils (rose oil or tea tree oil) and hyaluronic acid or serums. A couple spritzes in my hand allows me to mix whatever I want together at any given moment and get it distributed everywhere evenly.

I don’t adore the scent of this, but honestly I don’t care much what it smells like as long as it feels the way it should (which this brand absolutely does) without making me break out. But with only 2 ingredients–roses and water–it shouldnt be a problem.

I will update if I change my mind. For the price, this size bottle is amazing value. I am super happy. Please keep this in stock!.

I am absolutely addicted to finishing off my skincare routine with this simple yet effective rosewater mist. It’s great for locking in all the skin benefits from your skin care regiments or just a quick spritz midday is nice and refreshing.

The price is amazing on this product; it’s very affordable and I always try to keep an extra on hand so I never run out! I think this is one everyone should try. Would be great for any age or skin type.

Would also make an excellent gift for anyone who loves skin care or is just starting to get into it like a pre teen or teenager. I also think this would be excellent for mature skin as well. Sometimes I use this to activate clay masks or incorporate it into my DIY face masks.

This Rosewater spray is ok. But, honestly, I won’t probably buy it again. My local Walmart had been carrying the Sky Organics brand of Rosewater spray also and personally, I like it much better. This is half the price but, to me, it’s half the product, quality wise.

My local Walmart no longer carries the Sky Organics Rosewater in store so I order it from Walmart. com now. The spray pattern from the Heritage bottle is not great at all compared with the Sky Organics and the scent from the Sky Organics seems watered down.

However, the Heritage is good for the price. The Heritage Rosewater with Glycerin smell way better, likely due to their addition of Rose oil. I notice better skin results with the Sky Organics brand.

Okay, first off i never write reviews but i thought i had to for this moisturizer. I have never tried any of Peach & Lily’s products before but was told to by a friend because of how “clean” these products are.

I have extremely oily and dehydrated skin. I have tried so many different brands like neutrogena, cerave, and cetaphil and let me tell you NOTHING compares to this moisturizer. For months I’ve been struggling with dry flakey skin no matter how many times i put on moisturizer during the day to where my makeup looked so caked and gross that i eventually gave up wearing makeup most days.

I’m not even kidding within 3-4 days of using this in the morning and night my skin was no longer dry and flakey and I am able to wear makeup again without it looking cakey. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not oily at all, I think it actually has helped with my oiliness because I’m not using those dang oil blotting sheets as much throughout the day anymore and this is the only product I’ve changed in my routine.

It dries a tiny bit sticky but my makeup applies great over it. It doesn’t make me breakout either, which I was very worried about because my skin is very sensitive. I would 110% recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially if you have extremely dry yet oily skin.

My skin feels moisturized without the greasy, heavy feeling other products leave on the skin. I love that it’s made with a proprietary vegan prebiotic and probiotic complex that strengthens your skins microbiome.

Sometimes I can overdo it on different acne products leaving my skin irritated so this has helped relieve that feeling. It also includes ingredients that have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, antioxidants, vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid.

I like that this product is suitable for all skin types but especially for oily, combination and acne-prone skin because that’s specifically my skin type. It also feels great under my daily SPF.

I do extensive research on any new product I use on my face because I have extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin. I thought based off reviews and the description it would be a holy grail product. This was a terrible mistake, within two hours of applying this, my chin became so red, inflamed, and looked like one giant pimple.

My skin has never reacted this badly to a product. It basically glued my pores shut and a week and a half later I’m still dealing with cystic pimples on my chin that will not go away no matter what I do (and I never get cystic acne, just regular small pimples).

I’m so disappointed with this product because it did the exact opposite of what it claimed. My skin on my chin has literally been peeling off in layers no matter how much of my regular moisturizer i put on trying to combat the dryness and irritation this caused and I haven’t been able to leave the house because not even makeup will cover what this product did to my chin.

Do not take the chance and buy this if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, it’s 100% not worth it when there are so many other options.

This facial spray is something I’ve tried on my gentle dry skin, Esp during prep/priming the face before makeup applications. I need that extra boost of hydration from facial mists because of my skin type, because I love a luminous dewy look.

Not harsh on the face at ALL; VERY refreshing soothing. Actually kind of a little bit Bougie for just spritzing your face with a water-like mist. However, I do need ALL the hydration I can get to help achieve a flawless base.

I do prefer my mac prep/prime, smashbox primer water, my faves Mario badescu facial mists,or deff the tatcha dewy luminous mist over THIS one, because they actually have skincare ingredients/vitamins in them, a great scent, REALLY make a difference in my makeup applications (which is what I’m mostly looking for).

HOWEVER, if you struggle with dry skin, OR sensitive skin, need that hydration, THIS could be a good product for you. I tried it out, it wasn’t the BEST facial spray ever, deff not the worst. Have seen other muas/influencers use it on YouTube.

Any facial spray is GOING to help your skincare go in better,helps a primer, helps make an already applied dry makeup base look more cohesive when used like a setting spray. LEGIT I can’t do my makeup without a WHOLE face mist now.

Deff has a nice super fine air like mist. Actually this would be great if you don’t like face mists with smells or have sensitive skin, or want a refresh spray in a bottle,this would be the perfect mist for YOU!.

I don’t have anything negative to say about this spray because, well, it is just water. It’s pure, it’s clean, and it’s especially refreshing in this microfine mist spray. I also don’t have anything particularly profound to mention about this because, well, it is just water, which is precisely why we buy this product and why it’s packaging and application is just pure genius.

Talk about a goldmine a monkey could’ve created. who knew. I use this mostly when my skin feels dehydrated after air travel, after awhile in the sun, or when my makeup could use a little refresher. I’ve also used it during photoshoots to give a sparkling, dewy glisten to my face and body.

You could use an ulter-fine mist bottle and achieve the same thing, but then again, you need to find a faucet with that route versus having it sublimely packaged and ready for immediate use. Really, this product is completely basic but brilliant all at once.

I was skeptical when I first purchased this product when I was heading on a flight to London UK from Vancouver Canada. I have combination skin, and being on a 10 hour flight usually in the past never did my skin a good service.

And found I would get dry patches on my cheeks and jawline. So I purchased this, thinking this will help me keep hydrated! Well, it does in a sense, but it doesn’t in another. It does if you are able to use it, in a public setting, without annoying anyone around you.

No one likes to be unintentionally sprayed (or in this case, misted) with mineral water sourced from an alpine spring accidentally. Especially not the person sitting next to you in Economy class on a 10 hour flight to London.

So while I do agree it does hydrate your face, to an extent (I guess) you’re not really solving the fact that you’re dehydrated to begin with and instead of misting your face with water, why not try and drink it sometime, and it might help with your dry skin issue.

As for cons, while low on the ingredient list, it does contain fragrance and alcohol which might not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. I didn’t see any reduced appearance of pores in one jar and some sample packets.

I would recommend this to those with oily or combination skin. Almost the perfect product! The texture is unusual and unique, it feels just like a regular cream but then transforms into a watery gel as you apply it. very clever I admit! And no tackiness or sticky after-feel either, it sinks in almost immediately and feels mega hydrating as though your skins’ thirst is being quenched (I felt the same thing with Clinique’s DDMG).

The hydrating effect lasts too and was just right for my skin, not too light and not too heavy, a very rare thing for me to come across! Totally adore the jar and gold spatula, ingredients are great too.

To start it off, I don’t have a terrible acne problem, but I have a terrible problem with picking at my face and making it worse. I found out about tatcha through an ipsy bag but somehow forgot about it after.

I still feel young and I want to try to still look young to be honest. So I recently saw an ad on Instagram for Tatcha. I decided to buy the limited addition water cream and the mini rice polish for oily skin.

Although pricy, when I received the packaging and letters, I was in awe with how Tatcha is supporting the futures of young girls/women with purchases. For someone who thinks about the world and the impact of everything, who can’t complain about that? So I know you can’t make pores disappear, I will say that using these products for a minute now made my pores appear a lot smaller and unclogged?.

I’m amazed. Literally. After this I’m sure to use Tatcha in my longterm skin routine. THE ONLY THING I AM UPSET ABOUT — Is that I didn’t take before and after pictures to show how serious I am about it.

I’ve been trying out random skin products for the longest but I think tatcha is here to stay in my permanent routine. Ps to the wonderful Tatcha team, I know yall are trying to promote recycling with the prodcuts and I appreciate that.

but for people who bought full size products for awhile and don’t have much recycling options in the area, could we request future product in a biodegradable/small bag to just put back into our full size product containers? I mostly ask this because I bought the Limited addition water cream and I love the packaging of it and would absolutely hate to get rid of it once the product in it runs out.

I’ve been using the Water Cream for years. I loved the lightweight formula. I applied it twice daily after washing my face. It easily glided onto my skin when I applied it and absorbed into my quickly making it a mess free application.

My face felt hydrated and smooth afterwards without feeling weighed down with product. However, when I most recently re-purchased the Water Cream I immediately noticed that the consistently was different.

The cream was no longer lightweight. It felt heavier and almost had a whipped texture to it. I really had to rub the product to work it into my skin, but eventually it felt like the smooth product so was used to so I chalked it up to me overthinking it.

However, within a few hours my face felt itchy and when I was able to look in a mirror I saw tiny bumps all over my face. I immediately washed my face off and used a different moisturizer to try to soothe my face.

I’m aware that people’s skin changes over time and need to adjust their skincare regimen over time. But because the cream felt so drastically different I looked into it and Tatcha has confirmed that they “had some very minor ingredient changes to the ingredient list to make it comply with international regulations.

” I am so disappointed that they changed the formula without putting anything in their product description or on their packaging in a way that i found noticeable. I won’t be using this product again.

Got this for christmas, so i’ve been using this for half a year now. There’s still a good amount left that will last me til the end of this year, or even the beginning of next year! Anyways, it is very hydrating on my oily/ combo skin without clogging/ greasing it.

Makes my skin very soft, dewy without irritation! I think it’s the perfect cream for someone with oily combo skin, especially during summer! In the winter, i like to use this on my T-zone, and the dewy cream on my cheeks during winter for extra hydration and dewinesss! On days where I want a break from harsher skincare and just want a simple, coming routine, I always pair this with a hyarulomic acid and it does WONDERS for my skin! I wake up with my skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Now, the consistency is very light and easily spreadable, unlike some very thick creams. The best way I can describe it is like a very light cream that is not too light to the point where you have to apply a huge amount, I only need a time pea size for my whole face! The packaging is extremely pretty with a scoop to keep the product itself clean.

Makes me feel very fancy!.

I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it.

It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did.

My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine.

One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant.

In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.

It pays to understand product usage and your skin type. I have an over-all dryer complexion so I lotion my body daily and moisturize my face every 2-3 days. 1. The product tells the user to utilize AFTER HAVING CLEANSED YOUR FACE.

Not following these steps will result in clogged dirty pores and more acne. 2. You CAN use this product for targeted dry spots you just need to use less. This product, although appears to not contain a lot, goes a long way with just enough to cover your index finger.

You really don’t need a lot or else again, you’re caking your face and over-moisturizing it. This will also cause acne. Maybe if your skin is peeling on your face you may want to use a little extra but otherwise, very little is needed to cover your face.

3. You should not be exfoliating daily. Maybe once a week. If you exfoliate daily then use this product you will get acne. Plain and simple. You’re opening your pores, jamming moisture into them, and NOT expecting acne? Come on now.

Wash your face gently, exfoliate weekly. Moisturize every 2-3 days. Patience is key and you most likely won’t get immediate results from *any* product sold for $30. 4. Results. I could feel a difinitive difference almost immediately.

Product is in fact lightweight and I only needed a 1/4 of a dime size to cover my face. Again, a little goes a long way. Within a week and a half (because it’s not meant to be used daily unless you’ve got severe dryness), My face didn’t just FEEL healtheir it looked fuller, more hydrated and when I get my shark week is around the only time I’ll see a baby surprise zit on my face (this is normal, it’s called hormones silly).

I feel as though individual’s expectations are so high. I assure you that you’ll never find “the golden product” that works year-round. During the winter I won’t be using it because for whatever reason, my face is not nearly as dry.

If you’re looking for a fix-all raise your budget to $80-$150 and consult a dermatologist. Or get botox.

I bought this after doing a lot of research and reading reviews from different sources and personally think this product is not as good as its marketing says. I try to take good care of my skin, and was looking for a lightweight moisturizer to switch to.

I bought this and the first thing I noticed was the smell of cheap cosmetic stuff. That typical smell found in pretty much any regular creams or lotions you get at the supermarket. Regardless, I decided to try it out: texture is quite nice, and it absorbs rapidly into your skin.

But I have been using this for about 5 days and got 4 massive pimples, plus my skin still feels dry. I have never experienced a reaction like this with any other product, and I just stopped using it.

I do not know whether it is the same formulation (this one is made in Brazil) but I definitely do not recommend using it. Plus, for the price paid, I could have bought a much better quality moisturizer.

I can really feel the benefits of this Calendula serum/hydrating moisturizer combo. It feels so cooling and calming on my skin and leaves a comfortable dewy finish. At first glance it seems like a jelly and made me wonder if this was going to really moisturize or even sink in… well it does! A little goes a long way, which is good to know since it is expensive.

Upon application to my skin, it starts to transform into a really nice and easily applied water cream. It provides light (but not sticky or oily) moisture, and it’s the perfect balance… my skin can be dry (esp.

in the AM) but then turns oily as the day goes on. This product does what few other have been able to: give my skin the perfect amount of moisture in the AM, but not leave my skin feeling oily a few hours later.

I see that this is a new formulation, so I’m guessing that accounts for some of the negative reviews complaining about missing the old formulation, but there will be new fans (such as myself!) who much prefer this consistency.

The old formula had random bits of flowers in it that you’d find on your face after applying- so I never bought a full size. This new formula, with the Calendula components micronized (made tiny and not noticeable) makes much more sense as a daily moisturizer/serum combo for my AM routine.

It leaves such a calming and fresh finish! Thumbs up!.

This is the second water cream I ever tried. The first was which I received a free sample of and absolutely loved. This Kiehl’s Calendula water cream is my current favorite because of the calendula and how soothing it is.

I have combination skin and I love how this stuff absorbs so quickly while calming my skin and leaving it incredibly soft. Lately, as it’s the end of June and it’s been so hot out, I have been keeping my container in my mini fridge and it feels like heaven after a long, hot day.

The only thing unappealing about this cream is what it looks like. It’s definitely not a cream, it’s more of a gel and it looks like the crud I was coughing up 8 months ago while recovering from COVID only it’s a different color.

So gross but it really doesn’t matter since it doesn’t change how amazing the product is at all, it just looks phlegmy. 😄.

I never ever leave reviews so for me to be leaving one is because this product is magical. So I bought this little tub to try out as my skin gets dry during the winter but is actually very oily during the summer.

I use it as a base to my cream and it honestly works wonders, love how fresh my skin looks after. Turns out on new years eve I was drunk and cooking (not a good combo) and I burnt myself with my airfryer.

The burnt was pretty ugly, it bubbles up and everything. I began applying the excess left from this serum to the burnt. In less that two weeks the burnt magically disappeared!!! If I could attach a picture of the before and after you guys would be gobsmacked! I have to say this little tub is honestly MAGICAL! Well done Khiels!.

I received this product in the. 5 fl oz size in a gift set that I bought from the No7 website which altogether cost £10. 80 which was a great price since the full size of this product is £15 alone. This includes hyaluronic acid which plumps my skin and aids in absorption of the products I lay over it as well as adding a healthy dew.

The packaging of this is glass which I love since it feels very luxurious and keeps the serum cold giving it a cooling feeling on application. I have awful dry skin and this is fab for keeping it under control especially this winter.

Plus the No7 website is one of my favourites since you get £10 off your first purchase with no minimum if you use the code KAT-R1I which made the whole giftset only 80p! I will definitely repurchase this once I use it up as I think it applies like a much higher end serum.

I have tried many serums cheap ones expensive ones but No7 by far hydrates my skin more than any of them. I have normal unproblematic skin and this serum definitely hydrates and makes my skin glow. I use it twice a day and do put more on at night to soak in and help my skin repair as well as using a night cream.

I do also drink a lot of water as keeping properly hydrated makes a difference to for my skin. Have no issues wearing make up with this serum I would just leave the serum to soak for 15 mins before applying make up.

Boots usually have this on 3 for 2 which makes good value for money. Hope this review helps.

I like a Hylarounic acid serum to make my skin feel more hydrated and to assist with any dry patches. Normally I wouldn’t pay this much for this type of serum. I had received a bottle of this within the No7 advent calendar, and wow, I am so glad I did.

This serum is a much nicer formula than others I have used. It does not roll up into balls in my skin and it is quickly absorbed. It also sits well under my make up. I am converted and have since bought another bottle since running out, and some for my family for gifts.

This also convinced to try some other products in the range. This is a great find!.

I received the Cetaphil Optimal Healthy Glow Daily Cream along with the 48Hr Activation Serum, Refreshing Eye Serum, Body Spray Moisturiser and Body Lotion in the same Optimal Hydration range to trial.

I have dry to normal skin, more leaning towards dry in the cooler months on my face and body so this was the perfect range to try for my skin needs. The face cream is packaged in a lightweight plastic jar with a screw top lid.

The cream is quite thick and actually feels a little luxurious as it’s quite rich in texture. In a blind test, I think this could easily be mistaken for a higher end face cream. After using the eye and facial serums, I applied the face cream all over my face and neck.

It was very nourishing and absorbed easily into the skin without any sticky or tacky after feel. I didn’t have any issues with layering this over the facial serum either. Some times my skin can feel taut and dry and this really helped to soothe that dry feeling after cleansing.

The cream is fragrance free which is great for those sensitive to fragrances. The cream contains a proprietary ingredient “HydroSensitiv” Complex, Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, and Vitamins B5 and E to rehydrate and soothe dry skin.

I would definitely recommend and purchase as it was hydrating and nourishing and I feel a much better product than some mainstream brands which are priced much higher.

Thanks again Beauty Crew and Cetaphil for sending me the Optimal Hydaration Healthy Glow Daily Cream to try. I’ve been using this cream for many weeks so here is what I think: PACKAGING: When removed from the box, the cream is packaged in a squat, round 40g jar.

It looks like there is more product than there actually is due to the size of the jar but for a face cream, 40g is fairly generous compared to some brands. The container has a matte finish making it less likely to slip from your hands.

It has the same no-nonsense design of other Cetaphil products with blue and green writing giving it a clean, fresh look. There is a bit of a trick with the lid. I thought it was a bit loose after closing it but you really need to screw it on then click it further over to lock it in place.

If you aren’t aware of this feature and say, go travelling, the cream could definitely leak in your luggage. Just something to be mindful of. PRODUCT: The cream is light and white in colour. It has a nice buttery texture and even to my mind, a buttery fragrance (though technically unscented).

It absorbs right away leaving no greasy residue and softens skin immediately. It spreads well and a little goes a long way. PERFORMANCE: I was really happy with the gentleness of this product on my skin.

As someone who suffers from eczema and dry skin, I didn’t find this cream in any way irritating and it gave my skin a nice glow. It was very hydrating and softening. All in all, I thought this was a good, quality cream suitable for every day wear.

I highly recommend it for anyone with dry, sensitive skin.

I have been using Cetaphil’s Healthy Glow Daily Cream every morning and night for more than two weeks now. Before I used this cream and range my skin felt dry and dehydrated. After cleansing my skin morning and night I open the screw off lid off the tub of cream and apply approximately a pea size amount to my face and neck and gently massage into my skin.

The cream is white in colour, lightweight and fragrance free which I liked as I don’t find a need for fragrance in my skincare I love that it absorbs instantly into my skin leaving my skin feeling hydrated and soft and not greasy.

The cream is really hydrating it can be used on its own or as I used it in conjunction with the Cetaphil 48 hour activation serum for deeper hydration. For someone that quite often has dehydrated skin I noticed the fine dehydration lines around my face appeared more smooth and hydrated and also added a healthy natural glow to my complexion when I used them together.

I would recommend this affordable yet results driven cream to anyone wanting a great hydrating cream that can be used morning and night that works, after a couple of weeks of use I noticed the redness in my skin reduced it appeared more calm as well as increased hydration and natural glow, I am also someone that has combination skin and will know straight away usually after the first couple of uses whether a product will cause me to break out and this did not once.

I have tried Fresh’s/Hydrobio/La Roche/Avene face sprays which were all hit or miss and just were lacking something – something I didn’t realize until I bought a bottle of Caudalie’s mist. Much like the hype over Morphe’s setting spray, this sprayer is the sprayer of all sprayers, the queen, goddess of luxury mist.

For $18 and only 6-7oz give or take, this is opulence for fancy face water, but so worth it. I always make sure my skin is damp when applying skincare – whether morning or night; and this just wakes you right up with the best cold, enveloping and constant mist.

I apply this over powdered makeup and it takes the matte edge off and melts the powder into my skin and dries as if no powder existed. Not saying this promotes long wear makeup but for light powder this makes it look like skin without any extra dew or tack.

I picked up like 5 more bottles to last me to Summer. There is no better.

It feels weird to be writing a review of canned water, but here we are. That said, I LOVE IT. (let me remind you, I’m still talking about a can of water) It’s been a surprisingly great addition to my skincare! I’ve never used a facial mist but got a recommendation for this one; I spray it between layering skincare (except Retin-A! Water deactivates it.

Or tears a hole in the space-time continuum. I can’t remember, but it’s bad) YOU GUYS. This is going to sound weird (because still, can of water) but putting serums and moisturizer on damp skin has vastly improved the texture and look of my skin.

Plus, and I have to assume this is the grapeness part, it’s really soothing. Tbh though, I’m skeptical about the grape claim. For funsies my husband and I tasted it; it tastes like water. From my tap.

I guess I was expecting something a little more Welch’s, while secretly wishing for something a little more Two-Buck Chuck.

Over the past few years I’ve noticed my skin has aquired some dryness and sensitivity to a lot of products. I also started using facial mists as extra hydration, which worked great, but my usual was discontinued so I bought Caudalie’s grape water face mist.

(My skin was ok after using other products of theirs). After a few days of using this mist I started to notice little changes. My skin started to look smooth and even. I guess that’s what proper hydration looks like & I love it.

The dry patches on my cheeks now are almost gone, my skin looks glowy and overall really nice. There’s no miracle product out there, but this one is pretty awesome. It feels great after spraying it on because it leaves a feeling of an evenly, mask like, vieled layer of mist.

(Weird comparison, but like when you walk through fog & you feel that thick, cool mist settling onto your face). I definitely recommend this product to rehydrate your skin, especially being indoors so much.

I make my own facial mists from organic flower (including rose) hydrosol and essential oils, and this smells nothing like anything I’ve produced, nor anything natural I have purchased. It has a chemical smell.

Natural rose scent is derived from essential oil or hydrosol. “Rosa damascena flower oil” is not how either are generally listed in ingredients (this is how fake essential oils, fragrance oils, are generally listed).

I called Heritage Store customer service to ask questions and the person I spoke to (Ciara), mocked me when I asked her how their “rose oil” was produced – “uhh, yeahhhh, I don’t know how the ingredients were produced.

How are we suppose to know how they are made?” *queue mocking laughter*. I felt like I was speaking to a child, and was as polite as I could be, letting her know that it is entirely reasonable for me to ask a company what their ingredients mean.

Anyone selling a products such as this should absolutely be able to answer this question. I mean, aside from water and glycerin, this is all that you are selling!!! How could you not know how is it produced or what exactly it is??? Ciara further informed me that there was no one else in the office I could speak to, and that (other than list the ingredients for me and assure me they were not chemical), she had no other information.

You guys. has no one ever looked into this?.

In case you didn’t read the ingredients, this product contains Vor-Mag water. That’s right. This water has been vortexed and magnets were involved. I’m no alchemist, but I reckon this is 29% more mystical than plain old, garden variety non-Vor-Mag water, and it may significantly reduce the dangers posed by Dihydrogen Monoxide! However, if you are allergic to magnetism or vortices, you may want to consult your physician before using this product.

Seriously, these people are geniuses – I wish I had thought of this. My wife tells me this is an outstanding makeup primer AND finishing spray. It sets the powder and provides a lovely dewy finish. I have no idea what any of this means, but I can attest that my wife is a real looker, so the results are A++.

It also smells like lovely roses, not too overpowering – Just a fresh light scent. I know this because she sprays me with this product as punishment for my misdeeds, both real and perceived.

Lately I’ve been having extremely dehydrated skin and hoped that this gel would help repair my moisture barrier. Generally I have combination skin that is very acne prone. The only positive was that this did not break me out or cause milia (where plenty of other moisturizers have).

That said, for my very dehydrated skin this was nowhere near moisturizing enough – after applying at night, my skin would feel extremely tight by morning. I found the moisturizing effects to be very similar to drug store moisturizer (like Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion), which was very disappointing given the high price point.

This was similar to the Skinfix Restoring Gel cream (also cheaper than Murad, though not by much) – although the Skinfix was also not moisturizing enough for me, it happened to help clear my skin (probably due to the inclusion of Camellia Sinensis Seed Extract, which is very calming and clarifying for my skin).

Leaving 2 stars since it may be the right moisturizer for someone with more oily skin, but you can get the same (mediocre) moisturizing effects for much cheaper at the drug store, or with Korean beauty brands.

I’ve been interested in this moisturizer for a while now but held off on purchasing it because of the price and not knowing if it would work for my oily skin type. However, it was half off on Ulta’s website a few weeks ago so I decided to give it a try.

BEST DECISION EVER! This stuff leaves my skin feeling plump, hydrated, but never greasy. It has a silky texture and it absorbs quickly. And, I’m actually noticing a difference in the lines on my forehead which no serum, treatment, or moisturizer has ever been able to touch except this one.

It wears beautifully under makeup and the scent is very light, fresh, and pleasant. There is nothing I don’t love about it. I’ve been a die hard Tatcha Water Cream fan for some time but I actually like this way better.

I seriously cannot recommend this moisturizer enough. :).

So for some reason now that I am older (early thirties) my skin has become quite sensitive. I had been using cream based moisturisers for years until I began breaking out and developed rosacea thanks to my Celtic bloodline.

A friend suggested switching to a gel based moisturiser and I have never looked back. This product is one of my new aces in my deck. I use it as a night cream and follow with my Murad clarifying oil free water gel in the morning to retain a nice hydrated face 24/7.

It has a lovely aroma and feels cool putting it on. A few small dabs around the face is all that’s needed for full face coverage and doesn’t leave any cakey residue once massaged in. So far no issues with my sensitivity which is a bonus plus I know the product will last a while which helps with my budget.

In summer I often use hydrating facial mists as I tend to run hot and they really help keep me cool. On top of this, running the air conditioner all day dries out my skin more than I’d like, so a top up of moisturising spray is very fast, simple and easily done while I sit at the computer working.

While the Jowai Hydrating Water Mist delivered on both those aspects, I decided it wasn’t right for me due to the intensity of the mist. I found the spray gave very small, light droplets, but the initial force of the spray was just too strong and jarring for me.

I feel like it could be fifty percent gentler. There were a lot of things I liked about the Hydrating Water Mist. I really loved how it helped keep my skin soft and hydrated. It dried quickly, felt refreshing and never felt oily, thick or uncomfortable.

It also has a fairly light scent that is very floral. The scent won’t suit everyone, but I thought it was quite pleasant. Other than the forceful spray, I was a fan of this mist, but because of the spray I likely wouldn’t buy it in the future.

If you don’t mind a stronger facial mist that sprays quite intensely, you’ll likely enjoy this! Note: I received this for free through Influenster.

I received this product today and I already love it. I have combination skin (oily/normal) and currently have breakouts going on. I used it at the end of my morning skincare routine for an extra boost of moisture.

It was very soothing as my breakouts have been itchy lately. I love how fine the mist is omg. Right after I used a little primer and did my normal full face makeup routine. I use matte foundation but I don’t like the dry look so I sprayed some of this mist on top of my finished make up.

Let me tell you!!! This is now part of my skin AND makeup routine. It left my makeup looking more dewy and skin like. Definitely recommend if you want an added boost of moisture that you can even apply on top of makeup.

I received this product for free as part of the Voxbox campaign. I was excited to try this brand since they are a clean brand. Love the mist , it’s very refreshing and hydrating. It felt amazing when we had a warmer weather , I sprayed it also on my arms and it felt good.

Love the packaging and the nozzle sprays a lot so keep it in a good distance if you’re spraying on your face. What I didn’t like about it is the scent. It smells strong. Love the ingredients ,it contains Sakura Blossom Water and Antioxidant Lumiphenols (extracted from succulents).

Overall, it’s a great product except for the scent. [brand:jowae-92].

A lovely lighter version of their CC creame. This CC water is the perfect base for daily summer make-up. It applies beautifully over my skincare and SPF. Also, a little bit goes a long way! The tint is a bit deeper than its CC creme counterpart and for me, it doesn’t cling to any dry patches which I had a little hard time covering with their CC creame.

This CC water enhances the skin while color correcting and hydrating. It is a very light formula with hyaluronic acid that keeps the face moist. It evens out skin tone and makes it glow without being oily.

It does have a nice scent, and if you’re worried about it, it dissipates quickly for those with sensitive noses to fragrance. Will definitely buy it again.

I’ve been on the hunt for any base product without silicones for a good bit as I have very sensitive skin. I can’t use a lot/most silicones, shea butter, other types of emollients, chemical sunscreens, etc.

And I’ve found that something will tick every box BUT one and I can’t use it because I know my skin will react poorly. I saw this online and became intrigued because it checks every box. Where’s the catch? There has to be a catch.

in regards to the formulation, there isn’t one. It went on smoothly and even tho it has the “shade adjusting” gimmick, it was fun to watch it go from clear to another color. And it’s SUPER light coverage which is what I want especially during summer months.

It’s perfect except it isn’t. The shade range is TERRIBLE. I ordered the color Dore since it is summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) and I knew I’d get somewhat darker but it does sheer out a lot and with concealer, it’s easily corrected where you can’t even tell which is fine BUT even with very sheer shades where multiple skin tones can use 1 shade, there still need to be more than 3 offerings on the travel size and ONLY 2 on the full size.

I believe there should be AT LEAST 5 shades to sweep over various skin tones and if it were done right, like Fenty where they have 25 colors for their skin tint. I will use this up and may end up getting the FS but if I can find something more inclusive, I won’t come back to this.

I’ve been using Erborian’s original CC for a long time and I love that product so I was excited try a new version. This is simply awful. It doesn’t blend on the skin and stays watery for a long time.

As I tried to work it with my fingers to get the colour to activate and blend evenly but it either caused piling or looked patchy and orange. It collected around my eyebrows and in general I found it unpleasant on the skin and unflattering.

I’ve tried it 3 times with different moisturisers, with and without SPF and it was always a fail. It’s a shame because the original is a star product.
