20 Best Water Squirt Guns (2022 Updated)

If you can ignore the filler cap falling off every 5 seconds, then it’s OK. Needs re-filling quite quickly as it fires so much water – at a pretty good distance too. Another thing I found annoying is that it wont stand up on its own.

So if you are filling it from a bottle or a watering can or something, you need someone else to hold it for you. Pretty stupid design flaw if you ask me.

These look sweet! got them for the boys for easter! should hold lots of water and be easy to operate! they are way bigger then i thought they would be in person! but thats okay. great item for the price for sure!.

Purchased this to keep the cats out of my yard. Works great. Doesnt leak and has the power I need to keep the cats away from the many birds in my yard!

This is our second Hydra. The first one broke after 1 year of moderate use. Stored outside so I’m sure that contributed but the plastic lever is definitely a vulnerable point so not sure how long this new one will last.

Love the size of the blast it throws. I stand 511 and the soaker fits comfortably against my shoulder for pumping the lever. I wish it had a larger reservoir, or the ability to attach a back pack. As is, theres only enough water onboard for 12-13 blasts.

You can do half blasts with the same 25ish foot range that are still super drenching.

Our 13 and 15 year old love to keep cool in the summer and this is the perfect way to do it. Have had it for about 1 week and they love it. We bought two similar ones. We recommend!

This should be called Naff, not Nerf and certainly not a super soaker, more of a dribble. I purchased this to discourage squirrels from my bird feeders but the spray from it is so weak that they sat laughing at me as the “jet” of water barely reached 8-10 feet.

It is only suitable for the bin. I would have returned it but as I have opened the package I can not be bothered. I have subsequently purchased a water pistol from my local supermarket for half the price which does the job perfectly.

I would advise anybody DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

The kids are all about Fortnite & Nerf, and we’re incredibly excited to learn Nerf and Fortnite teamed up and have a line of toys. We got the Fortnite HC-E Nerf super soaker toy water blaster, it’s gotten rather warm out and so it presented the perfect opportunity to get out and play with it.

The boys loved the design and it was easy for them to hold and use, simply fill and squeeze the trigger. A line of water easily shot out. In all the fun they’ve had playing with their Fortnite HC-E Nerf super soaker, the only minor complaint they had was it leaked a bit if tilted.

Overall, Nerf and Fortnite is a hit in our household.

When comparing super soakers, the picture appears as large as the big nerf super soaker that i purchased at the same time, ordered online for order pickup. This gun was h alf the size and just had a little quirt coming out.

I guess the price tag being the same as the big nerf super soaker must be the “Fortnite” name. So here I am again to buy a second nerf super soaker so my kids will have an equal shot of soaking each other.

There was huge disappointment in my house after this purchase.

got 3 of these for my kids. they shoot a really far reaching stream of water, work great! everyone loves them. finally a squirt gun that works for more than 1 day! definitely recommend

The cool thing about this soaker is the water capacity. Both adults in the family found it to be a ton of fun and the kiddo was able to carry it easily! It has quite a far range, for soaking opponents across the yard, but isn’t so heavy that it diminishes playing! Getting two makes for a really fun game of water blaster tag, and it helps the grass during the hot summer months.

It was relatively easy to fill from the garden hose, as well. Highly recommend for summer fun!.

Great to beat the heat. It’s easy to load with water and go. It doesn’t hold a huge amount (but certainly more than an average water gun). The boys had a great time with this. While it leaks a bit (drips not streams), that’s totally fine.

It’s a water gun and they are going to get wet. It was even more fun adding this to an obstacle style course (load and go). My littlest guy (4) could manage the load, reload, and activation. Don’t leave out in the sun or the color sill fade or warp (depending on the strength of the sun where you live).

We place ours in the outside bin at the end of the day and it doesn’t get too hot.

To start with my kids are enjoying their new water gun. They love playing fortnite and now they enjoy playing and mimicking the movements of the fotnite character. They use it with and without water.

It is nice that it can hold up to one liter of water and it you can easy fill it out by opening the cap in top of the gun. To shoot the water you have to easily move the pump-handle back and forth and the press to release the water.

Our new Nerf Super Soaker Rainstorm is the perfect addition to my kids’ summer water weapons. Due to it’s heavy weight when filled, as it holds 22 ounces of water, it’s best suited for kids over 6 years.

The bright orange and blue gun fills quickly by inserting it and pulling back the handle drawing water from a pool or large bucket. It shoots out quickly from the numerous tiny pinholes on the gun barrel, by pushing in the handle.

Refilling it quickly is necessary because it all shoots out at once in a drenching blast of water. Therefore it’s best to use during pool time where it can be reloaded quickly. Beware that the intended target accuracy is pretty exact! Lots of fun for all and I’d recommend all things Nerf!.

This Nerf Super Soaker Rainstorm is a blast. My kids love having water fights and this thing shoots a good stream. It holds 22 ounces so not filling up every few seconds. My kids love to use these around the pool.

No issues found with this upon opening and using. Good quality, seems like it should last a while. If your kids love water fights as much as mine, need to give this a try.

I have twin sons and they’re both big fans of all things Nerf. We recently had the chance to go on vacation somewhere warm and they begged to bring their new Super Soakers with them. This is the first time we’ve gotten one of the Rainstorm guns, but they had so much fun with it.

It put out a decent amount of water, and aim was surprisingly accurate. We only had one of this type before, but I think I’m going to have to get a second so that they don’t fight over it.

Bought this for My nephews 7th birthday and he loves it holds a large amount of water so he doesnt have to keep filling it up too often gives him hours of fun its not too heavy so can carry it quite easily and really durable so unlikely to break really pleased with purchase and speedy delivery was a bonus!.

This super soaker is really fun not only for the kids, but for the adults as well. We like that the stream of water is a surge of a lot of water instead of the standard small stream. You can really soak others with this and it is a blast.

It is easy to fill by dunking it into a bucket of water and pulling the plunger handle back to fill it up. Once filled, you’re ready to pump and blast. It will hold 8oz of water at a time. This is a good way to have fun with others and cool off at the same time.

I’m a little disappointed it’s a neat toy it just doesn’t hold water well. It holds water while filling but will leak when you go to use it. So Definitely recommend it being filled outside. My son absolutely loves it tho to him there is no default.

Would I recommend it absolutely just keep in mind that it must be filled outside !! Other then that get ready for hours of fun on a hot summer day!.

I got this for my 5 year old. He loves it. It’s easy for him to use. You just stick the front part in the water and pull the back handle. Then push the handle back in to spray out so much water. It’s a lot of water that comes out super quickly.

My son gets a kick out of it. This is really well made for an inexpensive water gun. I know it will last us for a long time.

This is so horrible. They sent all my 4 of the water guns to a different address. In another state and town. I can’t believe this. Bad business. And I need my water guns for my children. To have so type of fun.

Grandson is only 4 and he can use it fine. It is heavy when full of water and is bigger than I expected (really about the right size). Couldn’t ask for a better water gun. It shoots 2 streams at once and shoots far.

Great little super soaker for the price! Tank hold a good amount t of water. Reloads are not constant. Chasing down the children to squirt them ( cough) play with them is easy. Tank keeps water nice and cold.

Fill opening is large enough for ice cubes.

The main problem with these water guns is that they don’t shoot while aiming straight ahead, you have to aim up a bit. The kids found this very frustrating, the younger ones stopped playing with them right away.

This problem doesn’t seem unique to these specific guns as it’s the same with another Nerf water gun we bought. When they did work, the kids had an easy time squeezing the pump and refilling them. Won’t be buying Nerf again as a different brand worked much better.

It truly wouldn’t be summer without a water gun fight in the backyard. Nerf has done a great job improving upon the classic super soaker of the 90s with their Super Soaker Scatter Blast Water Blaster.

This purchase was a Christmas gift for a 7year old grandson. The online purchase was seamless and the price of the waterblaster at Myers was the cheapest of any other retailer offering the waterblaster for sale.

Pickup from Myers was available within a day or two. The waterblaster was well constructed and performed quite satisfactorily in the hands of my grandson. Good easy online purchase and a quality product.

Had these for a few years now. Top notch quality and tons of fun, little iddy biddy stream of water that shoots quite far with good force, but lasts quite a while between refills as a result. Awesome little things.

Fun summer toys. These water guns are great, just that my kids are having a hard time resealing/closing water tank cap. But good quality and simple squirting design.

It’s a pretty cool water gun all round. Since it is burst it is a workout lol. My arm was tired after only 5 min of using it. Definitely for bigger kids and not the little ones.

He liked it. It was easy for him to fill himself. He only dripped a lot on the floor. It lasted 3-4 minutes outside so it kept him busy.

We purchased these for kids ages 6 to 11, and every single one of them had difficulty pumping the water gun to spray far enough. There is no trigger, it has to be pumped. Two of them leaked too much to have enough pressure to shoot water out.

The large open back to dunk and refill would be a million times better than those teeny tiny refill holes on most water guns. Even when the adults tried to get in on the fun, the water guns only shot about 6 feet.

The idea is there, the execution is not. Would not recommend these at all. I’m honestly surprised by these positive reviews, we have four of these guns, and every single one sucks. Surely we didn’t end up with four duds?!.

This is my second Zuru. I would love to put 5 stars but I just need another metre from my deck to wet the target! Easy to use and fill, great pump action. Eventually plastic deteriorates at the fill end if constantly exposed to the elements.

Must add that I purchased the gun to deter cats from the area around our wild bird feeder. I never score but my presence on the deck with a large colourful device aimed in their direction is deterrent enough.

When grandchildren visit the gun reverts to its intended purpose and for a brief time enjoys its 5 stars fun status.

Got these for toddlers because I figured the size was better for them than the larger version. We tried it out during bath time. Major downside for me was that I couldn’t get all the water out of it.

Shook it in all directions until I couldn’t get anything else out, then left it extended to try and fully dry out what was remaining inside. 2 days later I could still hear water inside of them. This version is a breeding ground for mold and I’m not looking to let them play with moldy bath/pool toys.

I returned them and tried the larger Max Liquidator. Surprisingly it was actually easier for them to draw up water in the larger one and if I pump/shake all the water out and then extend it open to dry, it dries fully within a few hours.

So I’m surprisingly pleased with the larger version. I do not recommend this one unless you plan on replacing it every two weeks once it grows mold, or going through the hassle of soaking it in a bleach solution and then, still having to figure out how to pump and rinse all the bleach out of it before letting your little ones play with it again.

I’d rather not.

A friend brought these over to use in our pool & my son loved them. He’s only 2 so the shorter ones such as these work great for his little arms. He plays with them for hours & I searched for them everywhere & finally found them here! So happy I did!.

Great for smaller children who struggle to fill and fire typical water guns. My 3 & 6 yr old grandkids love them. A bucket of water and a warm day were all they needed for hours of play. Cheap entertainment.

This is a nice little super soaker. This is based on the Fortnite game, which my son approves this very much. He loves Fortnite for this was a perfect match. Has a nice spray distance. On the smaller side so you will need to refill often but it’s easy to do.

The Nerf water gun is easy to fill and holds quite a bit of water. It seals okay but does leak while laying on its side, so make sure it is empty of in a place that is fine being wet. You have to make sure the cap is completely on so the water doesn’t come out also.

It takes a few pumps before the water starts shooting and it goes a long way. The trigger doesn’t squeeze as easily as I thought it would. It hasn’t broken with repeated use and seems to be decently made.

Nice looking and well constructed super soaker but my initial thought on this water gun is that the water reservoir is quite small. You’ll spend a lot of time filling it with water rather than playing.

It also doesn’t have a lot of shooting power. You have to stand quite close to your target in order to be able to hit it. Overall decent quality but the performance isn’t great.

Paid 14.99 IN-STORE for one! Recently purchased 5 online when they were on sale. It’s a good working water gun, easy to use for my 6 and 8 year old.
