20 Best Waterfall Shower Head (2022 Updated)

I was a bit skeptical prior to purchase, despite all of the good reviews. Just my nature, I guess. Decided to take a chance and buy this. It changed my shower experience completely! The pressure is amazing and so much stronger than I expected.

I thought it would be cheap, flimsy, and overly plastic-y, but even the quality far surpassed my expectations. Metal in all the right places and has a very good feel and weight to it. Even though I only have 1 shower in my home, Im still thinking of purchasing a second one just in case.

Its that good. If youre looking for a rainfall shower head replacement, this is the best choice. I did tons of research and product comparisons and this has the best value. While I cant compare performance to other units, I truly do not think anything can get stronger than this spray.

This is the one I have been looking for! It solved my low water pressure issue with an easily removable restriction plug, no drilling. I have tried many others but even without a restriction plug I just could not get enough water for a decent shower.

Also the spray pattern is like a rain shower, it’s wonderful!.

In love with this showerhead! We just got back from a trip to Cancun and I was on a hunt to get a rainfall showerhead like the one in the resort. This product is even better. Has great water pressure and gets all the hair product out of my hair quick and easy unlike other showers.

I was able to install this item as soon as it arrived too because they gave you everything you need in the box. Comes with the teflon tape, water filter, and a pressure adjuster if needed. Highly recomend this showerhead if your looking a great value for your dollar product.

Also- they do give an option to get an extention for the shower head if needed once you receive your package.

My family and I love this DreamSpa Shower Head. Not only is it bigger than a traditional shower head, but it has a lot more features as well. This showerhead displays the temperature of the water on a LED/LCD screen.

The showerhead also lights up depending on water temperature. It lights up blue for cold (under 95F), green for warm (95-108F), red for hot (108-122) and flashes red when the water temperature is over 122 degrees.

Once you learn what temperature water you prefer, you can turn shower on and get in when it is just the right temperature for you. It is also great if you got kids, to let them know if the water is to hot.

This shower head comes with everything you need to install it. This shower head works great! it was very easy to install. the water comes down just like a rainfall. As long as you know this is a plastic shower head and are not expecting it to be metal, Then this is a very nice shower head.

The shower head is large. about the size of a small plate or slightly larger. The water pressure is good when using this shower head. This product was a great surprise 3 colors versus a spectrum. it’s built really nice and the colors just make it more fun!.

This arrived quickly, and it is the best shower head I have ever owned. It has nice water pressure, which can be adjusted with the removal of a component to increase it if wanted. No tools needed to install it.

Took less than 5 minutes to get on and turn on! Shiny, and temps are clear and easy to read. Not sure why they call it “multi function. ” It is just a rainfall function. It’s Affordable and a nice wide 9 inch diameter circle of coverage. The rainfall is good but but the water pressure just isn’t strong enough for me even with the waterflow restrictor removed.

excellent quality just wished they informed me that I needed to purchase the extended arm which I had to purchase after the fact. Other than that very pleased.

We installed with shower head in my husbands bathroom. Steady even rain shower! Works great and the color is perfect. Very easy to install as well.

I was looking for a combination overhead / hand shower that had the diverter knob at chest height. The ones with the diverter knob up on the shower head are no good if you are looking for a shower that shorter people can use easily too.

It does have a pause function, which is great, but I wish it was a button. Instead you have to “turn the dial” on the hand shower to get it to pause, meaning you have to pass through several spray patterns to get it to pause, and then back again to the pattern you want.

I bought this shower so I can bathe my german shepherd, and let my elderly mother use the shower when she visits, she is at least 7″ shorter than me. Build quality of the main unit (overheadshower and slide bar) feels very nice.

The kit even includes little packages of grease for the o-rings. The hand shower does feel a bit plastic-y and cheap, compared to the rest of the unit. The attached soap dish was an attractive feature for me, but it is a bit high at the lowest point you can install it – likely because my shower arm is pretty high up.

Also, be careful when re-installing the hand shower holder on the slide bar – it has an upside and a downside which they don’t mention in the instructions, it does not work if you install it upside down, both sides look the same to me.

The bottom of the slide bar attaches with a sticky pad, you peel the backing off. My tub surround is smooth, shower has been up 3 weeks, no issues. You do need to wait at least an hour for the adhesive to set before you take a shower.

Installation was pretty easy (I’m a handy mid-forties woman). Instructions were a bit murky on the pipe nipple part though. You have to remove your old shower arm (not just the shower head), then screw a pipe nipple into the pipe inside the wall the shower head was connected to.

They include a 2″ pipe nipple which they say will fit “most” applications. They give directions for measuring, in case you need a different length (which you will need to buy at a hardware store). The instructions say to make sure you take into account any tile on the wall, etc.

in the depth measurement. My tub surround has about a 1/2″ ‘lip’ at the top, so I added it in to the measurement. Needed to buy a 2. 5″ nipple according to the measurement directions. As it turns out, the included piece would have worked great.

The piece I bought ended up making the shower arm stick out past the decorative bezel (about a 1/2″ funnily enough), which is a bit of an eyesore. I wasn’t about to disassemble the whole thing to change it though, it works.

Directions could be clearer. Overall, I am happy with this shower. Feels like nice quality. The rain shower head is nice, and it does have a ball swivel mount. Installation does not take too long.

I literally spent more than a year going back and forth about purchasing this shower head system. Looking back, I wish I had not waited so long. I was mostly hesitant about installation. I’m a fairly handy mom/wife.

I do quite a bit of woodworking but when it comes to plumbing, especially attaching parts that go back into the wall, I get super nervous. That being said, the installation of this overall was really not that bad.

The most nerve-wracking step was drilling into my tile for the lower part of the mount as I opted for this part to be secured with screws as opposed to only relying on the sticky back. I’m glad I did that because it really helps me to feel more secure about the overall sturdiness and strength of the unit over time.

I purchased two of these so I could install them in both of our showers and I feel like I got an outstanding deal because I took a little bit of a chance and chose the option to purchase second-hand, open box.

Because I did that, instead of paying $170 for the polished chrome, 2. 5gpm, I paid only $90. So I essentially got two for almost the same price of one. In one of my showers I did, as others have mentioned, have to purchase a longer nipple in order for it to reach the plumbing inside the wall.

That was not a big deal at all as we have a plumbing parts store close by and the part was only $3. When I drilled the holes for the lower mount I marked the depth of the drill bit with a piece of tape so I wouldn’t drill too far and possibly hit pipes (this distance is clearly stated in the instructions).

I also went about 1/4″ at a time and was constantly cleaning out the hole and looking with a flashlight to be sure I wasn’t hitting anything in the wall that I shouldn’t be. The other part that was a bit scary was checking for leaks inside the wall, I decided to use q-tips to poke around the pipe while the shower was running so I could pull them out and then check for any drips.

This worked great. So even though that process scared me so much to the point I was almost about to hire a plumber to install it, I’m so glad I was able to save the money and do it myself. You just need to take your time and double check each step as you go.

We’ve had these installed now for a little over a month and I am so happy with them. The biggest upgrade for us was that the location of our shower heads are very low so this upgrade allowed several inches of head room above where the plumbing comes out of the wall.

That was by far the number one reason I wanted something new and finding this system allowed me to gain the height without having to redo the plumbing. huge bonus in my opinion and obviously a big money saver as well.

We are happy with the water pressure and love the spa like feel this has given our 1980’s shower. One last thing I want to address for anyone interested. YES, you CAN use BOTH shower heads at the same time.

That was another part of the reason it took me so long to finally purchase was because I kept seeing conflicting information about that feature. Everyone who answered the question said “No, you can only use one shower head or the other, not both” and that is absolutely not true.

What I think people have confused about this question is that when you turn the knob to change shower heads, if you go all the way one direction you get just the rainfall head and then if you go all the way the other direction you get just the handheld head.

There is no set position though. It’s a very smooth transition to change it and therefore if you want both shower heads to run at the same time you simply turn the knob halfway instead of all the way.

Granted, you will notice a difference with the pressure when you have both heads running together but I wanted to be clear that it DOES work both ways. I feel these shower head systems are made with good, quality parts and will last for a very long time.

I can’t state enough how much I love, love love my Pulse Showerspa Kauai III. Installation only took about 15 minutes. The only installation issue I encountered was that I didn’t wrap enough of the supplied thread tape around the replacement for my old shower head supply tube, so when I tested it, there was a slight leak going into the Pulse unit.

I quickly removed the unit, wrapped the threads with 4 windings of thread tape (instead of the 2 windings that I originally tried), reassembled, re-tested and was pleased to see that it no longer leaked.

Totally my fault for not using enough thread tape, and it was easy to correct using the ample amount of tape supplied with the unit. The shower head functions as-expected and as weird as this sounds, it really makes me look forward to taking a shower, now! The spray wand works terrific, too.

The quality of the assembly is quite good. I really couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Did some research and decided to try this model. It’s amazing. Feels like a rain -shower and I bought an extender arm to raise it up or move out into the middle of the shower stall. Hubby put it on with little effort.

We had looked at their video they provide on here to make it easier. And we had already taken the water pressure off to give us more pressure. no leaking. The water feels so good.

You need 80 PSI for it to work properly. The product description didn’t state this when I purchased it. Seller wants me to pay shipping to return which of course is unacceptable as they didn’t have a full product description.

If I had known I needed 80 PSI I wouldn’t have purchased.

The picture miss lead me to believe it would work on the wall. Found it was designed for the ceiling. My mistake, not being used.

We bought this because it made our brand new shower look luxurious. We loved the look, the ease of installation and of course the water pressure. However, in less than 5 months of use, it BROKE. The acrylic split during a shower rendering it USELESS.

Bought 3 months ago because the first one I bought 2 years ago I still have. While showering with the new one I heard a huge crack and pop. Turns out the new one wasn’t made as good as the old one and cracked along the acrylic seam.

Exploded within 30 seconds of use! Absolute garbage, there’s a reason this is the only acrylic shower head because it’s junk! Do not buy!!

Happily, this shower came a week earlier than expected and I was so pleased with how well it was securely protected/packaged. It looks absolutely stunning. One thing I didn’t notice is the grip that the hand-held shower has, which is great for younger ones using it.

Have not installed yet. but everything we wanted looks to be included! Love the hand-held and rainfall swivel. The oil rubbed bronze will match back to the double sink faucets and bronze shower door!.

I m very pleased with this purchase. Normally a multi setting shower head will have 1 setting that s any good and a bunch of crappy ones no one uses, but this one has several different patterns I love.

My 6 year old has a setting he likes too. Seems to be well built, but that s judging off 1 week. Would purchase again.

I have had this shower head for about 6 months now. I like and dislike it equally. There are 5 settings, but 2 are completely useless. The LEDs worked perfect originally, however, over the last month it has been flashing on Blue and Green (which it isn’t supposed to do), occasionally stop working all together, or it will just choose whatever color it wants to show.

For example, blue for hot and red for cold. I absolutely love the mist setting, it is honestly the most relaxing thing in the world. I paid way too much for what it is, in my opinion. I am only recommending it because I may have gotten a lemon and the mist setting is unbelievable.

First one ordered leaked. Easy replacement. New one works great, except one of the settings had low pressure,but I didnt remove the water regulator. The light function ✨️ is cool!

I ordered this shower head on 12/28/19. It arrived on 01/04/20 and we installed it that night. As of 01/15/20 it is now making a loud sound and LED light/temperature goes off and on. The quality of the item when we opened the package was NOT as expected but we tried it anyway.

It’s made of lightweight plastic and I’m not sure if it’s worth the $60 but rather $25. I am returning this item.

We did remove water flow restrictor, as usual. Love the coverage of waterflow. So relaxing. Highly recommend. We also love the temp light indicator and being able to read actual temp from in the shower.

Very nice feature. The only caution is if you want large individual streams this device would not be the one.

Bought original shower head about a year ago. Used it for 8 months, then went away for the summer. Went to take a shower when back home, welded seam burst and sprayed water all over the place. Shower head was replaced with new one at no cost.

For some reason, pressure is much less in new head. Will try to find same look with better water flow.

This is a solid shower head. We had a 16” rainfall that broke (different brand), so we ordered this one and “hoped” it would have a little more pressure. The piece is heavy duty and high quality. What we figured out was we don’t have enough water pressure in our house to fill this big of a rainfall.

The result was that water didn’t come out of all of the nozzles and it was a lot less pressure. When we reached out to return, the process was simple. So my advice is know your home’s pressure and get a size head that will be compatible.

I would guess the smaller heads of this style would work for us.

Installed this 3 months ago. Entire family loved it. Eventually the nipples will clog and the corners will rust and water will spray out of the corners. Don’t buy this! It’s a poor design.

I was not impressed with this shower head. It produces a relatively narrow, lifeless beam of water that doesn’t project very far, despite good city water pressure. Honestly, it feels like they took a shower head designed for 2.

5 gpm and stuck a 1. 8 gpm flow restrictor on it, which rarely works out well. Also, the ball joint on the head is so stiff that it is nearly impossible to adjust the shower head direction. There are better choices out there.

I just finished installing this shower head (without the help of my husband) and am pleasantly surprised with both its chic sleek design and excellent shower function! One of the reasons why I love this Miseno rain shower head is because it’s available for purchase ala carte.

I really liked my purchase of Dailysale’s Dual-Head Shower Massager with Rainfall product. I received the unit before I thought I would. It arrived suffering no ill-effects from its shipping journey.

The product was relatively easy to install. I LOVE the shower experience it offers! The Rainfall design provides full coverage, soft-feeling of spray for a supremely satisfying shower experience! I expect this product to last as well, due to its good quality material.

The most difficult part of installation was getting plumbing tape. We decided to use t’he water saver. The result was a delightfully gentle spray. It’s pretty complex so we’re still learning about the options.

With 3 people with different tastes in shower strengths this works well.

I’d have to say for the price and performance I feel I was treated fairly on this purchase. I bought mine to take to Haiti where I work. Shower head was pretty much what I expected. Our water pressure isn’t great anyway so I can’t comment on the units ability to boost pressure however the hand held seemed to have good pressure.

I wasn’t able to stop all the ‘connecting’ leaks and was afraid to wrench on it too hard as the components are plastic. Also had about an 8 inch pipe from the wall and i bought an extension pipe to adjust it our further.

Unit is heavy so it droops some. Finally, I would say that for a shorter person or a child activating the hand held could be difficult as the slide button for that sits on top of the unit,, it;s a stretch for me and I’m 6 foot tall.

But overall very satisfied with this shower head and in fairness I rated it a 5 star.

Installation was fairly simple and completed leak free without tools but liberal plumbing tape. Water pressure great once the restrictors were removed from the main and handheld shower head (directions provided.

) Snapping remote head back in holder a bit more challenging than previous shower it replaced. Short people will find it a little challenging reaching switch to change from one shower head to the other.

Showers that come with a vertical bar allow positioning of hand held unit at an individually convenient height whereas this one, no vertical bar, does not. I still think it looks great. Many shower assemblies come with non removable restrictors.

I really appreciated the ability in this model to toss them in the trash. I’d have given it five stars, but people who are height challenged might not share my opinion.

This has been THE best shower head that we’ve ever had! Our old one was recently broken and we searched all over to find one that we liked just as much. We ordered several from Amazon even, but to no avail until we found this one.

Our goal was to find one that my hubby and I BOTH liked liked, this one did the trick!! My hubby said it was a breeze to install. He did take out the water regulator so we get amazing water pressure now.

We love the handheld too. The ONLY thing I can think of that would be a CON for me, is I’d like for the handheld to be a little longer. I basically only use it when I shave. Other than that, I can’t say enough about it.

I LOVE this showerhead. I replaced a single head rain showerhead with this dual head. Not only is it more attractive than the showerhead I replaced, it is heads and shoulders more attractive than the clinical-looking, round, dual-head showerheads.

It was very easy to install, the instructions provided were informative, and the hand-held is wonderful to use. The dial for selecting shower stream is large and easy to use. Shipper sent the product on time and in perfect condition.

After much research I decided i did not want a cheap plastic shower head & I found the Shower Head store advertising all metal heads. Decided on the 8 in. in brushed chrome to sort of blend with my brass fixtures.

it came in two days & is a beautiful piece of equipment, a delight to the eye & hand. I thought a washer was missing so talked to someone a couple of times & found out it was already in the head. Customer service was excellent.

My son installed it in 5 minutes after taking out the flow restrictor which unscrews. It looks great, blends in with the brass just fine. But the best part is the experience. it is wonderful! So much better than my old 35 year old one.

I stay under it twice long as necessary because it feels so good. like a soft rain. I have no problems with the equipment or the service, in fact I have been bombarded with emails about it since ordering.

NO BATTERY COMPARTMENT – UNIT MUST BE TAKEN DOWNBeing installed now. I’m writing to let everyone know that although it’s beautiful and love the versatility of the shower sprays. there is NO battery compartment on the side to change.

So when the battery dies in a year or so, you have to take down the entire unit from the wall and pull out the battery pack to change. I don’t like that because i like to silicone the edges to make it waterproof from splashback.

This was going to be my primary unit, but it’s now going in the little used bathroom. Everything else in the unit is great, and the mounting brackets are the same for the models ifyou wanted to change out.

I still like this but really disappointed in the lack of forethought not to make a small door on the side to access the batteries. That is a major issue which is why i took away two stars. CONCLUSION.

not sure if i would recommend this. if the display is not an issue, forego it and enjoy the shower. otherwise get another model.

Shower looks elegant, and functions as it should. Water pressure is good on all settings, except for the hand shower wand. Shower wand is a little low on pressure. Easy to assemble and install. Quality seems good.

After only 1 week of use, I am having an intermittent issue with the temperature display. It sometimes indicates 0 degrees no matter what temperature adjustment I make. I believe it may be a loose connection or faulty temperature sensor.

Anyway this does not affect the quality of the shower, so I am not really concerned. For the price, I recommend this shower Panel.

OMG! This is the best shower I’ve ever used. My carpenter installed it easily and it works great. All features are truly heavenly, from the LED light to just cleaning your feet before getting into bed.

The jets are remarkably powerful and the temp. control makes it easy for me to change after my husband puts it up too hot for me. Would recommend this for anyone.

The wife and i were looking forward to using this showerhead and the anticipated benefit of hydrated skin. The showerhead wil not hold the position you turn it to. it just flops down and returns there.

Yes I have tried torquing the device but it does nothing to improve the flop. The colors function well. We have not observed better hydrated skin during the two weeks of use.

I installed this at the end of November and less than eight weeks later, the LED light stopped working and then the water flow slowed to a drip. I ended up returning this and dont intend to buy another.

Stays blue when water is cold and Luke warm. Turns red when water is hot. It claims the filter “softens” the water. Haven’t noticed that yet (feels like body wash isnt coming off when water is soft).

Time will tell if it water stains shower door. Good product for the price.
