I bought this waterpik for my husband and myself (no kids). I wanted one that plugged in not a battery operated one and this was less expensive than other models. I had never used a waterpik before. I wish I knew sooner I would have been using these my whole life and saved myself from many dental issues with my small mouth with tightly packed teeth.

I also smoke and drink lots of coffee. My teeth are no longer yellow and I had tried strips and concoctions of all kinds that did not work on my teeth. I recommend every house should have one of these.

I have used water piks for years. I have the full size model and got this one because we have a second home and a small bathroom. It says for kids probably because it’s smaller all the way around. It does a good job cleaning around teeth once you get the hang of rotating the tip.

The tip handle does NOT rotate like the big unit so you are fighting the water tubing to get the right angle for cleaning. I happened to get it on sale for $35 so I am okay with the way it works. I would not have wanted to pay more for it.

The handle not rotating isn’t great if you want kids to do a good job but I’ve figured it out and for part time use its good. I suspect that the way the handle connects to the water tube is going to crack sooner than later because of the non rotating design.

I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try this or for kids to get them to clean teeth. I gave 3 stars because it would be easy to make a handle with the water tip rotating for no extra money. It’s works good for the size.

A wonderful product except for one nearly fatal flaw. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the power cable for the plug is hard plastic which sticks STRAIGHT out the back of the unit when plugged in.

Obviously, not plugged in the thing is useless. This thing is otherwise a beauty of design. How this plug, which nearly DOUBLES the necessary footprint of the thing (it can NOT be pushed neatly against a wall or on a small shelf), passed muster for this is unimaginable.

If they did not want to alter the plug location, the LEAST they could have done is make the plug connector shorter, and have a right angle on it. I am intending to try to modify my plug to be shorter in just this way.

But most people who buy this won’t want to crack into it and do some soldering and modification, so will just have to live with the item which, due to the stupidly, sloppily, carelessly designed power wire in the back of the unit, requires nearly twice the shelf space as is advertised.

Unless, I guess, the idea is that you unplug the wire from the thing each and every time you are finished using the unit. I just don’t know. It makes you wonder about the world. This waterpik otherwise works wonderfully, packs up small, travels very well, and is beautifully designed.

And then they shortcut the power source out the back, effectively nullifying the above. It’s like they slapped one of those Calvin peeing stickers onto a lovely rolls royce. Only you can’t remove the sticker.

Works great and is in a largely well designed package that will work for most people. Unfortunately, the designers either A) didn’t think of or B) just couldn’t move the plug to a better location. One of the benefits of this model is the compact design, particularly for people with limited vanity space.

The plug goes into to back, adding essentially 50% more depth to the unti when plugged. And while you can remove the power as WP suggested to one critical review, this is daily use item so plugging and unplugging it will shorten it’s lifespan (wear and tear) in additon to just being a nuisance.

Hopefully they’ll either impliment a 90d bend plug at the bag or move the connection all together. The 90d bend plug would benefit existing owners.

I purchased this model for travel. It’s small, elegant and powerful. Some customers were not happy with the plug location and footprint that I can agree if you are considering for home use however I think it’s perfect for travel since I don’t care how it sits on a hotel bathroom countertop.

It doesn’t have a swivel head or large reservoir but they do not limit the use. I don’t think there is another product on the market to help your oral hygiene when you are on the road. I just love this product.

I wish it was little cheaper.

I haven’t personally used this but it is a disaster with the kids. The chord is so choily that it’s hard to control and the bathroom turns into a water park. I even help the kids to avoid them spraying everywhere and it really doesn’t matter.

I’m sure it’s cleaning their teeth, but it’s just too messy and it constantly drips even after draining. Much rather have gotten a cordless one. This is very over priced in my opinion.

I have been using product since I purchased in December. It leaks water, and recently the product has completely stop, not working, as it did when I first purchased it. No, It’s not worth the money. so, as you can see, NOT HAPPY.

Very good water pic, better power than older one I replaced. Shipped without a/c power source and old one I kept from former model would not fit. Seller kindly supplied one at no cost! Kudos for customer support!.

I love it. The travel bag and the travel plug worked great. It arrived just in time for me to take on my trip. I also loved having a case to put all the different attachments in. Due to some medical issues, I can not always open my mouth enough to brush my teeth properly, so this waterpik works great to get rid of plaque, food particles that get stuck in my teeth.

I looked for a replacement reservoir but cant find one online. I would like to keep using this. I really like it. I use this in addition to manual flossing.

I bought this two years ago and now it stopped charging now I have to buy another. That’s ridiculous I’m going to buy another brand. Pay this kind money this should have not happened.

Lid falls into reservoir which contaminates flosser water with dust and bathroom germs that collect on top of lid. Unsanitary. Lid needs a handle or knob — something to grasp, especially since hands may be wet when using.

The tips stored inside lid do not stay in their clips and when you lift lid by the edges, it opens (there is no clasp) and tips tumble out. Again, unsanitary. Needs a way to store excess electric cord so counter space is freed-up.

Reservoir does not completely drain and yet also drips when filling it. Really do not like using this product, however, it is effective. WP should re-design this unit. I plan to replace it with another flosser.

Would not buy it again.

I purchased this because I just got braces again as an adult and remembered they were recommended when I was a kid with braces. I had been using it exclusively for a week and a half, then went to my dentist for a regular cleaning.

The hygienist chewed me out and said the water flosser (despite me using it on the 8-10 setting) is not strong enough to clean between teeth and disrupt bacteria properly. She did at least say it’s good to help remove any debris from brackets and wires after eating.

I’ve gone back to regular floss and found my gums bled for the first few days, as if I was flossing for the first time. Besides that, I think it gives the water a weird burnt plastic taste that I really don’t like, but I can get over it.

I’ll stick with regular flossing daily (though more time consuming with braces) and will use this to supplement.

After friends, dentists, and now my 7yo granddaughter saying how great water piks are and surprised I don’t have one, I finally bought one. I did a quick research and found this model to have great reviews.

It was on sale at the time so it was my best choice. I like how it has 10 settings and the water reservoir has a large capacity. The lid for it was a must also. Nice that it cane with addl tips hidden in the lid.

The only negative is that it’s so loud! I placed a washcloth underneath hoping to muffle the sound but it’s still super loud. Maybe it’s standard for all water piks. Idk, but I like it overall so I’m keeping it.

We’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks now and are very happy with the purchase. It cleans teeth very nicely. Makes them feel so clean. The plug in cord is long enough for our counter. The sprayers work fine.

The packaging and delivery were good too. Definitely a good buy. Oh, and I learned from my Dentist, add a little hydrogen peroxide to the water. It sterilized and healed my gums that had a few, minor sore spots from too much brushing.

That’s an added bonus.

This did not happen once but proved twice. The first I took a friends advice and tried it. I increased the intensity until I got to the highest level. Bleeding stopped. Second time we were transferred and I placed it in storage.

I was using the travel model for over a year. The bleeding started once again. So I bought this model! In less than 10 days bleeding has stopped. My dentist visits are reduced to 10 minutes. Hes happy and I am very happy! BUY THIS PRODUCT IT REALLY WORKS!.

I had a Waterpik 100 before and liked it. Then I ordered a Waterpik with a pulse action, it didn’t work well, stopped running. So I was happy to order another Waterpik WP 100 Ultra. I think it is wonderful.

I like that the pik is totally maneuverable, and can be used with tap water. I use it with warm water and a cap of mouthwash. Gives a clean mouth and teeth feel. By using the mouthwash, it cleans the unit and makes it bacteria free if there is any residue water left in the relay system.

It is easy to operate and doesn’t require much space. It’s only problem is it is a little noisy. It really combats tartar. And it is really surprising how much food is caught between the teeth even after brushing.

The WP100 Ultra is even better than the WP100 that I had before.

I’ve been learning how to use my Waterpik, there is a bit of a learning curve but I do notice it flushes out bits of food, particulary things like tiny fruit seeds that escape even flossing. I read in some reviews that the tip came loose/popped out and I experienced this; I figured out I was hitting the eject button on top of the device while using.

I changed my grip and solved that issue. I’ve also sprayed my mirror and hair a few times while maneuvering the tip in my mouth but I’m getting better with that. I don’t like that the only way to completely empty the water take is to hold the unit upright and turn it on, creates a terrible mess so I don’t do it often.

I worry about the ‘standing water’ and rinsing the tank after putting it in the dishwasher.

Customer support did send replacement at no cost to me for this WP-450, although they did not replace the first one. Since the first re-chargeable portable I previously owned (a different model) and complained because the battery failed to continue to provide adequate power I was told by customer support that I had not charged is frequently enough.

So when I bought this WP-450 I left it charged in almost all the time. When the battery failed customer support told me I should not have kept it plugged in and charging continuously. I asked where in the instruction it explained that.

He said page 9. The proper charging is not explained on page nine of the pamphlet care that came in the box. On the customer review responses on-line the proper procedures is explained as “This specific cordless model should be charged overnight (8-10 hours) after every 6-8 reservoirs of water.

It should not be left on the charger as it can overcharge. ” How costly would it be for the company to reprint the enclosed info pamphlet. Customer support did send replacement at no cost to me. I really was not satisfied with this model.

Too much water and always left my pj top all wet.

I bought this hoping to irrigate my tonsil crypts that seed tonsil stones frequently. The pressure is much too strong for this. The tip is too hard to use to find the open pockets in my tonsils. I tried both the classic and the perio tips, but I guess I have to try the ortho tip as well but I am hard pressed to buy more.

As far a water-flossing goes. I was happily using Dr. Tung’s vegan lemongrass and charcoal floss and loving it. not going to give it up for the water flossing experience. Maybe it’s ok for people who don’t want to pay for good floss.

Better than plastic floss with phthalates, etc. but not an improvement for my current regimen. The water reservoir is small because of the battery space which necessitates several refills, but that is the consequence for it being handheld and supposedly able to be used in the shower.

I’ve used an electric toothbrush, WaterPik, and custom mouth trays with whitening gel for years. When the WaterPik died, I found Burst and decided to give it a try. I bought water flossers for my husband and myself, and I also picked up a pack of whitening strips.

I am SO IN LOVE with both products! The water flosser definitely gives that “fresh from the dentist” clean feeling, and the whitening strips were very effective and not too harsh. I did the full 7-day treatment over 8 days (took a night off about halfway through to give my gums a break).

I updated my subscription to receive two whitening strips packs every other month to accelerate the effects. If/when my Oral-B toothbrush bites the big one, I’ll definitely try a Burst brush!.

I ordered the Burst Water Flosser in white and after about 4 months it stopped working properly I would turn it on and it would turn off within seconds on its own. This happened repeatedly while I was trying to floss my teeth.

I contacted customer service and they were great. They asked me to send in a video of the problem, which I did. Once they confirmed there was in fact an issue, they sent me a new water flosser. The same problem started happening with the brand new one they sent me within a few short months as well.

I did not contact customer service for a second time because I can’t imagine that I got two faulty products, and that instead there is a problem with all of them. I wanted to love this product, and read a lot of great reviews of it in advance of ordering my own.

However, it just did not work for me.

It’s really powerful water flosser. I used some product to remove the black spot on my teeth. It removes some from the first time. I think if I do it everyday, it will help remove most of it. You need the write product in order to get it removed.

Please! Do not stop Flossing your teeth with a simple Dental Floss that it costs 2 bucks! This is a must! No product so far could replace this simple human action to have your teeth clean in between and free of Plaque!.

This unit was a replacement for my previous unit which failed (motor) after about 2 years of operating by only 1 adult–it should have lasted much longer. Before it failed however, I bought a traveling version, The Water Flosser Cordless to be used while traveling.

The unit works OK, but the stream is far too intense and the holes in the tips are not wide enough to lessen the intense pressure and therefore causes excessive discomfort and bleeding at times. Moreover, I am totally disappointment that the two units do NOT have interchangeable flossing tips–a real and unnecessary inconvenience and imposition.

Since the original tips that came with the WP 60W broke apart, I had to buy replacements for that original unit (before it failed) and then after the tips were actually received, that original unit itself failed (after 2 years) as stated above.

So, it cost me for the original “sink top” version, the replacement of broken tips (because the Cordless unit’s tips are not compatible with the other unit and then after buying the replacement tips, the original sink top unit failed! Yikes!.

This one is quieter and smoother sounding, the it’s been many years since i bought the first one. Water pressure adjustments are easier and have more of a range. What I discovered long ago is you can brush, floss and rinse, then use the water-pik and still see more.

There’s nothing like it for cleaning under bridges. Nothing else compares.

Second purchase of this particular brand of water pik. The first one lasted for years. The unit does a great job of keeping teeth clean – wouldn’t be without it. Highly recommend.

I love this waterpik. Just recently, I have had two permanent implant crowns placed by my dentist. He suggested using a water flosser. I have used the plaque seeker as well as the Classic Jet Tip to remove food between my regular teeth as well as the implanted crowns.

The Orthodontic Tip can be used for braces as well as general use. I have used this tip in a general way. I fill the waterpik tank with water and run this tip along the base of my teeth. I feel I am cleaning my teeth along the gumline.

Although the waterpik is meant for the bathroom, I have placed this waterpik waterflosser on my kitchen counter. First, I floss my teeth and then I wash my dishes. In my opinion, by using the waterflossser after eating you are not just removing food particles; you are raising the ph of your mouth with the addition of water.

After about 30 days of consistent use, I’ve fallen in love with “flossing” my teeth again! The thoroughness of getting all of the food particles out from in between my teeth, and the health of my gums have improved 10 fold.

I’ve seen a noticeable improvement and actually look forward to this evening ritual again. When I actually flossed my teeth with string, my gums would periodically bleed and I never felt I was getting all of the particles out, but now, it’s different.

I still use a quick brush of my teeth with toothpaste to loosen anything, then I run the WaterPik (takes 90 seconds) and I couldn’t be happier with the results. So glad I found and purchased this product.

I’ve been wanting to purchase one of these for awhile. but, I’ve just been putting it off. When I went to the dentist last month, I asked my hygienist about them, and if it would be worth my purchasing one.

She encouraged me to do so, as I have permanent retainers, and I hate to floss. It has undoubtedly been one of the BEST purchases I have ever made. I love it! I could use it 3 or 4 times a day. I love it that much.

I purchased one for my daughter and her family, since my granddaughter also has permanent retainers, and she likes it almost as much as I do. It is well worth the money I spent, and when this one wears out, I will definitely be looking for another one.

I wish I would have bought one a long time ago. Works better than I ever imagined my teeth feel extremely clean and I no longer have any issues with halitosis. I use this product daily!!

I have this product in the full size and wanted another for travel, works just as good as full size. When I go for dental cleaning the hygenist always comments how clean my teeth are and no deep cleaning required.
