20 Best Waterproof Curling Mascara (2022 Updated)

I’ve tried all of Eyeko’s waterproof mascaras (and loads from other brands) and this is okay. I had issues with my lashes holding their curl and even waterproof mascaras smudging. This one holds a curl and does not smudge at all, is easy enough to remove with coconut oil, but not very dramatic.

But my biggest issue was that I kept noticing fibres from it were getting in my eyes and irritating them throughout the day. So I had to check my tight line to remove these with a q-tip before I leave the house.

(But might have just been mine, as I didn’t notice any other reviews saying that!!) The yoga mascara smudges and is very natural, but the Beach mascara is the best waterproof mascara I have ever tried Does not smudge, flake, or get into my eyes and is very dramatic.

There is no compromises with that mascara. So if you want a dramatic mascara, get the Beach. If you want a more natural mascara and don’t mind spending an extra minute before you leave the house – this one is the one!.

I’m really impressed because I’m pretty picky about my mascara. In my opinion right now nothing beats liquid eyelash extensions by thrive causmetics but this one is pretty good in comparison. It is more delicate than the liquid lash extensions and it does curl the lashes and lengthen.

Best of all it is waterproof so no under eye dark circles or smudges. I sometimes wear this instead of the liquid lash extensions for a more delicate look.

The first time I bought a tube of this, it was for a holiday where I would be in and out of pools and beaches all day, therefore I needed a waterproof mascara. I can’t remember why I decided on this one as it was a few years ago, but since then I always buy a tube for when I go on a beach holiday, as I don’t really need waterproof the rest of the time.

It goes on very black and smoothly and gives my lashes some lift, a little volume and a lot of definition. If you wear contacts, just be careful about the fibres getting on the contacts as you apply.

Otherwise there were no problems wearing this with contacts. I’d put this on in the morning with some Becca Beach Tint on my lips and cheeks and I’d be set for the day. I could do laps in the pool with this on, swim in the sea, do watersports and this still held on.

There was only the tiniest bit of fading by the night when I went to remove it. Of course this level of waterproofing comes at a price. Removing it is a real pain. I have to use the thickest oil cleanser I have and properly massage it in before I can get any of it off.

Make sure you have a very good waterproof makeup remover if you do decide to use this. It isn’t my absolute favourite mascara, there are others I like more, but I usually don’t do waterproof and this is the only waterproof one I use.

It works perfectly for what I bought it for and it meets the claims it makes, so I can’t give it anything other than 5 stars. I repurchase this for every beachy holiday so definitely recommend.

I bought this tube about 3-4 months ago and have been using it as my sole mascara product. I have previously used the Full Bloom mascara as well, but both of these products have left a not so memorable impression.

I will say, this mascara does well in eliminating clumps! Even if the first swipe came on clumpy, as you brush the product through, they eventually disappear. However, throughout the day I would find specks of mascara flaking off on to the tops of my cheeks or having it smudge onto my lower lash line.

It also does not hold a curl very well nor lengthen significantly so if you are looking for a mascara that’s only non-clumpy, then this is fine. I have straight, Asian lashes so all the other aspects fell flat for me (not the greatest staying power, non-lengthening, non-curling).

It did an alright job of defining the lashes enough.

I happen to see this mascara at Walmart and was looking for a new mascara. I am so happy that I purchased this when I did because this is my favorite mascara ever!!! This mascara is absolutely AMAZING.

It makes my lashes so long. I have light and short lashes. This mascara makes my lashes so long and dark. I love how my lashes look with this mascara on. I have been using this mascara for at least 6 years now and I will keep repurchasing this product forever!! The best place to get this mascara is at Walmart.

It’s most reasonably priced there and you can not purchased this at Ulta for some reason. This mascara can also be found with a eye linen sometimes too.

I purchased the CoverGirl non water-resistant clump crusher mascara for the first time recently and I am a fan. I do not mind the green packaging, although another color would be more sleek. I use this product a couple times during the week.

The mascara wand does not create clumps of mascara on your eyelashes and lives up to its name! When first opening the mascara tube, I did think it was faulty due to the scent and the less amount of product that the wand was picking up.

Since initially opening the tube, the scent no longer seems expired and the wand has been picking up more product however in comparison to other mascaras it is much less – due to the mascara being a “clump crusher,” less product is picked up.

The stopper in the tube prevents the mascara wand from picking up excess product. This mascara is great for lengthening and separating lashes. However the mascara itself does not create much volume to my lashes.

This mascara is good to pair with a mascara that creates more volume.

Browzed thru the clearance section and walmart seen this on sale for $2, which I’m glad I didn’t pay anymore then that for this. It really didn’t do much for my lashes at all. I tried it several times to at least get my use.

I gave a super light tint to my lashes and that is about it. No length, definitely no volume, just a bit of color. I personally wouldn’t recommend unless you are going for a “no makeup makeup” look. Also I didn’t pay attention to it being water proof, which I will say it is that at least.

I had such a hard time removing it at first.

I bought an eyeliner recently that came with this mascara in a deluxe sample size (4. 5ml). I actually enjoy this mascara, it definitely adds volume and makes my naturally short blonde lashes really pop.

The only thing I did not like it that it tends to clump, especially if applying more than one coat. It also smudges a bit with extended wear. Otherwise, this is an excellent budget friendly mascara that comes in a fun purple package :).

You see in the picture how there are little water drops on the lid? I thought those were just in the picture to show that it’s waterproof. They are actually little balls of glue that keep falling off all over the place! Not as black as “blackest black” would have you believe.

Needed multiple coats, brush is very small, but went on evenly and the end result is good.

ok, for the price it’s absolutely impossible to beat this product! the only issue i have found is that it tends to flake JUST A LITTLE BIT throughout the day, but a quick swipe under my eyes and the problem goes away.

personally, this mascara works so well for me but i have had some people i’ve recommended it to that didn’t like it so it depends from person to person obviously. people always ask what i use and complement my lashes (i’ve even had a family friend disapprovingly ask why i had fake eyelashes on.

i’m 15. and she was genuinely shocked when she found out they weren’t fake!) my natural lashes are decently long on their own and i tend to do 2-3 coats of this mascara. it’s very easy to precisely sculpt your lashes into how you want them to look with the brush, and they’ll stay like that all day!! IK ITS BAD but i also curl my lashes after mascara and they will hold the curl until it’s time to wash the mascara off.

i always buy the ultra black (i think that’s the name of it, the one with the black cap and purple writing) and i feel like it has a slightly different and better formula than the other blacks but that could just be me idk.

maybe if you didn’t like the normal black color try the ultra black and it might work better. also, some reviews have mentioned the product seems to run out, i’ve had this issue as well but if you put a few drops of contact solution into the mascara and mix it really well it will extend the life for about 2 weeks but i’ve gotten it to last as long as a month after that (i wear mascara about 4-6 times a week).

i wish everyone could truly love this mascara as much as i do because then they could reap the benefits of absolutely gorgeous, perfect, long, voluminous, dark, curled, not clumpy lashes. try different application techniques and maybe it’ll change your mind on this mascara before you completely stop using it.

JUST BUY IT ITS SO AMAZING!! my 8 empty bottles that i’ve accumulated of this mascara can attest to my love for it.

I’ve used many different mascaras over the years. I have long lashes and I (believe it or not) have struggled with mascara always because it always tends to clump up or make a mess out of my eyelashes (or rips the lashes out when it’s time to remove makeup).

I’ve used maybelline black drama for over a decade and I would’ve never tried anything else but I got brave one day and decided to try the Maybelline falsies lash lift instead. I have now permanently switched to this amazing mascara.

I love the style of the brush because it has a curved center and a fatty tip which allows for extra detailing. It does not clump and you only need one decent coat. It makes my eyelashes look so full and perfect.

It’s never been easier to put on mascara then it is now since I switched to this one. Just a few quick swipes on each lash and I get that bold and illuminating look that everyone is always yearning for in a lash product.

I would recommend this to anyone with any type of lashes. It definitely makes the eyes pop and enhances your makeup game 100%.

This product has changed my life. I have been using it for months now and can’t get over how underrated it is. This might sound a bit dramatic but this mascara has helped boost my confidence immensely.

It works to curl my eyelashes and make me feel great about myself. This mascara product works wonders not to mention how cute the purple tube it comes in is. It also brings together my whole makeup look and make makes my eyelashes look long, curled, and beautiful.

It truly is waterproof as it claims to be and it doesn’t smudge like other mascaras seem to do. Not only does it not smudge but it’s also a lot cheaper compared to other mascaras. Anytime I wear this mascara it stays on for hours and is so long lasting.

Its application is incredible thanks to the remarkable applicator brush. I have always had a problem with my eyelashes not holding a curl but with this product my eyelashes have never looked more curled and voluptuous.

My eyelashes also don’t look clumped together after using this. One downfall I have seen many people have with this product is that it’s difficult to remove, but personally I have found many products that help take off this mascara effortlessly.

(P. s. a simple makeup remover wipe won’t do the job, try Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water) In conclusion, I would 100% recommend this product because it’s a game changer and made my face look more awake by brightening my eyes.

I love the way it applies and if anyone else wants a mascara that is life changing I would recommend this product.

090 is their Pro Black color. It is waterproof but not smudge proof. I was always scared to wear waterproof makeup afraid it’s could t wash it off. I use an oil based cleanser to remove it and it comes off just fine.

It does feel like I am combing my lashes when putting this on which I like as it feels like a eye lash massage to me. Since I am on and off with makeup my makeup last really long and I have to be careful in determining is it too old or is it not a good product.

I always check my purchase history if it is over a year I toss it even if it looks good because I don’t need any eye infections. The Con: It was too smudgy, don’t give a person a hug somehow this will end up on them… I was looking like I didn’t hug them with my eye how did this get on everybody I hugged! Another option don’t wear it to events you will be hugging a lot of people maybe wear it work where you really can’t touch anyone!.

I am super torn on how to rate this because I would take off a star immediately if a mascara gives me raccoon eyes or smudges and this Diorshow mascara does smudge on me, well. not ALWAYS. I cannot figure out why there are days it smudges and days it doesn’t even if I apply a mascara primer before too.

But I just LOVE the way this mascara makes my lashes look. It separates the lashes well, lengthens, volumes, and takes layers of mascara well. It also holds my lashes up, most of the time. The wand picks up the perfect amount of mascara and no need to clean/swipe off product from the wand.

Once the mascara dries, it stays put. I think the mascara could be a bit more dramatic to give it a lash extension effect but none. the less, I always gravitate/pick up this mascara when I go out.

I’ve quite literally tried about every mascara out there over the years (we’ll call it a severe case of makeup FOMO ğŸ¤·â€ â™€ï¸ ). Always end up coming back to Diorshow. I love how this gives my lashes such an amazing curl and lengthening effect, without clumping or looking over the top.

It also lasts all day and doesn’t flake. I love to apply at the base of my lashes and quickly move the wand side to side as I go up. Gives a flawless curl and helps separate lashes for maximum definition.

This mascara has been my tried and true for so long that I now just keep a stash of these in my makeup drawer. Basically, a makeup lover’s version of a safety blanket. I definitely recommend trying out as this high quality formula will not let you down!.

So. I love Maybelline mascaras and I was really excited to try this new one from them! I love the original Colossal mascara and that one is one of my favorites!! However, I was pretty darn disappointed with this one.

First off, it does not do anything special in regards to “curling” or “holding a curl”. My eyelashes are straight and are pretty blah. I always use an eyelash curler, but I also tried it without curling them and it doesn’t lift or curl my lashes at all.

Now, in regards to it holding a curl, I curled my lashes and applied it and it doesn’t really do anything special nor does it hold a curl any longer or any better than any other waterproof mascara. Also, it doesn’t really provide much volume or length, it just gives a very natural look.

If you like very natural looking mascaras, then you might like this one. I also find it can be kind of hard to apply because of the brush and it also smudges on my eyelid. I applied it on my lower lashes and it made them look surprisingly pretty good but sadly it smudges and flakes on the lower lashes!!! Lastly, throughout the day of wearing this mascara, my eyes began to feel uncomfortable like if the mascara was flaking and the flakes were getting in my eye, just couldn’t wait to wash it off!! In conclusion, I am returning this mascara and I would suggest skipping out on this one and not wasting your money on this!! Maybelline has plentyyy of other mascaras that are wayyy better! ***Note: If you want your lashes to hold a curl, just use a waterproof mascara because waterproof mascaras are wax based and hold a curl much better and longer than non waterproof mascaras that weigh them down and drop the curl since they are water based.

I always saw these post in Facebook and also in Shoppers Drugmart. So I thought it just kinda marketing strategy to catch people’s attention especially womens who love to do make up. I tried to log in ang make my account in Butterly and just applied for this product.

And after a few days I received the box. It a surprise when I thought I’m just gonna received a foundation, but I received like 3different products. Loreal foundation, NYX Pore Filler, and Maybelline Curl Bounce.

I tried using the Maybelline Curl Bounce last saturday. It was a shock coz it’s easy to apply and makes my eyelashes thicker but natural looking. It lasted than I was expecting. I even when to a facial spa but my lashes as still firm and looking beautiful.

OBSESSED!!!!! This is one of the best otc mascaras I’ve found in a long time!!! I’m always on the hunt for that perfect mascara, because let’s face it lashes are EVERYTHING! If they’ve made it, I’ve tried it and unfortunately I’m usually not impressed.

Hold up, I’m getting ahead of myself. let’s start with packaging. It comes in a oblong-ish tube that has very rounded edges and is completely white in color with a yellow stripe that goes the length of the tube.

Everything is very very simple, nothing really flashy or edgey. Honestly, this mascara is not winning any awards for style. When I first seen it I no joke thought it was a Neosporin tube! So to me the overall look is just very generic.

no WOW factor at all. This is the perfect example of. don’t judge a book by it’s cover. because the packaging may not be great but what’s on the inside is FABULOUS! The brush is beyond amazing at gripping and separating lashes without making them clumpy.

You can get a beautiful light wispy look or layer it on for more drama. Even with alot of layering it still does not clump at all!! It stays on ALL day without transferring, smudging or flaking. I got the Waterproof version and it truly is waterproof, and you definitely need some micellar water to remove it (so keep that in mind).

I’ve gotten soo many compliments on my lashes, people asking what lashes I’m wearing. and I love being able to say that these are my lashes. The amazing brush paired with the formula really lengthens and curls my lashes with no effort at all.

I absolutely love that I don’t even have to use my lash curler when I use this mascara!! It even does a PERFECT job on my lower lashes too, which usually I have to go back in with a spoolie to separate them.

but not with this mascara!! The formula is very soft and forgiving, if you mess up you can fix it before it dries down very easily. When it does dry down it’s still very soft and flexible not stiff and crispy like some cheaper mascaras.

Honestly, everything you want in a mascara this lil guy provides! I just can’t say enough good things. it has definitely earned a spot in my everyday makeup!! If you wanna pay a little more then or are my suggestions buuuut if you wanna save some bucks and still get an outrageously fabulous mascara.

then Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce is the mascara for you!!! Seriously, if you are on the fence with this. don’t be. go get it!!! It retails at $9. 99 (USD) at Ulta but I think you can find it at Walmart for $7.

I have only been using this for a week but this is a nice mascara. I got this in brown and it compliments my hazel eyes. The curl stays on all day and night. Will not smudge even if you cry. I’m not a huge fan of how long and hard it took to get this mascara off.

I tried using micellar water on this bad boy and it didn’t do anything. Luckily, I use a cleansing oil but it takes forever to get the product off your eyes. Also, this dries super quick so if you make a mistake well good luck because the mascara will not come off without a fight.

I don’t really like the fibres as well, they become unravelled (i hope that is the right word) after some time of use. I know I won’t finish this tube so i’ll probably not repurchase and look for other brown mascaras.

I have short and stubborn straight lashes so a waterproof formula is a must for me and a lash curler of course. This mascara is just great, holds the curl all day, gives nice length and volume after one – two coats, does not clump and its very black.

Lashes are soft. Mascara doesn’t irritate my eyes even after all day of wear as some other ones do. To take it off in the evening waterproof eye make remover is a must. After taking off, lashes feel conditioned.

Overall I love it. Great e every day mascara for me.

This is my HG mascara! It doesn’t flake on me, it coats my lashes well and allows me to build without it looking crazy, the wand is very thin, it’s waterproof and smudgeproof for me, and comes off relatively easily with my Garnier micellar cleanser.

I love everything about it, but maybe the thin wand the most because it really allows me to carefully build up the product on every lash. I was using this daily for a few months and it has only now dried up.

You can see the hair-like fibers on the wand when you pull it out and wipe some off on the tube.

I have always been a fan of Lancome products from their perfumes to their skincare line and lipsticks, but I had never tried their mascaras until now and boy am I glad I. I received my Lancome Lash Idole Waterproof Mascara from a sampling program and not only am I super happy but I feel Blessed also.

My lashes have loved this mascara and so have I, lol. To start the rose gold color with the black and square packaging is so nice and sleek looking. It stands out to me from others. As soon as you open it I really love the curved wand it has.

You can really tell it is curved, compared to there that I have used and seen that say curved but maybe not so much. This curved wand has really made it easier to put on, especially on the top lashes which follows the curve of the eye.

Now what about all those bristles? I think that they really have all those 360 bristles in 90 different sizes they say as my lashes really became/become longer and with more volume everytime I use it.

Another great feature about this Lancome mascara I think is that is is one of the few mascaras that I have tried that doesn’t not clump up on me. I was and still am impressed everytime I use it and more than that it actually last all day looking great.

Just like when I first applied it. Oh, I almost forgot, I also love that this mascara has Green Tea Extract in it to help condition my lashes along with antioxidants that help too. It is a little different seeing it as an ingredient but I really like it as it is meant to help my lashes.

So far I am loving my Lancome mascara and I will buy it again for sure and will definitely share my excitement with my family and friends.

I wanted to buy a waterproof mascara from a John Lewis Lancôme counter, I intended to get Doll Eyes because I prefer a proper bristle brush but the rep really pressurised me to get this instead, wouldn’t hear my concerns, overrode them.

Told me this would convince me to have this type of brush, that it separates, covers all lashes and the formula works. Worn it all week and it flakes, even with one coat. Really don’t know how other people say it doesn’t.

I havent got it wet, sweaty or rubbed it. I also find the bristles don’t grip and cover my lashes and I end up with some thick globs in trying. This is despite trying all sections at all angles. Also NOT impressed with Lancôme responses to other reviews telling them to use it with their primer?! You should not tell customers that in order for a product which is supposed to perform just on its own, you need to buy and use ANOTHER product? I’m too far away to return it, and can’t afford another one, this was supposed to be my one treat.

Don’t pressurise your customers and don’t tell them the fix to their issues with your product is to spend more money. You’ve now lost me as a mascara customer.

I received this free to test from Lancome Community and was delighted! I had very mixed feelings and it honestly took me a while to warm to this. I had previously been using maybeline sky high mascara, and if you use this you know its a straight brush, and this was also my daily go to mascara.

So when this arrived I had issues with the brush from the start, it was big and curvy and I kept hitting my eyelid and it was a disaster. so I tried using just a straight brush so I could at least test the product.

Loved the mascara, felt nice on my lashes. Was it waterproof? Well that part wasn’t tested, but it did take a real good eye make up remover to take it off. I eventually got use to the original wand and big brish.

Once you get the hang of it you can get right in at the root and lift the lash for a smooth application. This lasts really well. Is it a favorite? Well yes and no. I find the product overloads in the big brush and if you try to scrape some off at the top of the bottle, you create clumps.

( I created clumps, this could just be a me problem lol ). I’ve also realised that I really don’t need waterproof mascara. I feel its thicker in consistency and on top of that it’s hard work removing it.

I would like to try this as a normal mascara to test the difference. I still enjoyed wearing it and thought it looked good on my lashes.

Zero stars (sadly not an option here). I hate to be a downer, but this is absolutely the worst mascara I have ever used. Possibly the worst makeup purchase of any kind I’ve even made (on the advice of the Sephora salesperson in Milan after I’d left my entire makeup kit accidentally on the plane!) The brush does not get cleaned off at all when pulling the wand out of the tube, so the mascara stays in huge, gloppy clumps on the applicator.

Even after wiping the excess off repeatedly on the inner edge of the tube opening, it is still a mess. I had to use an eyebrow brush immediately after applying to my lashes just to get off the sloppy clumps.

Adding insult to injury, it’s not waterproof. It’s not even smudge proof. A real disappointment!.

Whoever gave this a bad review doesn’t know how to use it! When I say I am the worst at make up is not an exaggeration. I can hardly curl my lashes lol. But if you use this right 10/10! My lashes point down and this holds them straight all day long! It took me an entire bottle to figure out how it worked but now I have nonclumpy lashes.

You have to wipe all the excess off on before using it then use the inside bend part of the applicator to apply. If you go straight from tube to lash it’s a disaster. Since I’ve been wiping the brush off it’s been working great.

I guess it’s a good thing because then the product lasts longer but slightly annoying to use.

First, I have to say I love how this mascara makes my lashes look. The wand design is *chef’s kiss*. I have a lot of really long transparent eyelashes – one swipe and this mascara makes it look like I’m wearing falsies.

Why 2 stars then? This is not even REMOTELY waterproof. I actually double-checked the tube itself and my receipt because I thought I had just accidentally bought normal mascara. This mascara is less waterproof than regular mascara I have.

I don’t think I have unique eyelashes that would somehow render the waterproof technology useless, nor am I diving into a jet stream of water everyday. Just yawning this mascara runs. So. if you’re looking for something waterproof, run away.

I am so pleased with this mascara! It goes on my lashes beautifully without any clumping. The consistency is thin but not in a bad way. It coats every lash completely and dries very fast so another coat can be added right away.

The brush is where the magic happens! That is all I can surmise because it effortlessly builds the most beautiful coated, waterproof, non clumping, fast drying lashes in record time! The bottom lashes look fantastic and perfectly placed, again with no clumps! The brush makes my lower lashes look like I have twice as many.

My lashes stay nicely curled all day and night and if I should fall asleep with my mascara on. my lashes look great the next morning too. I am so very impressed! I use my waterproof eye makeup remover to remove the mascara and it is so delightfully easy to remove.

No tugging or loss of lashes. it seems to dissolve. how divine! I will use this mascara until I die or they discontinue it. I am so happy I decided to try it. I cannot imagine a finer product or how I could improve on it.

I needed a waterproof replacement for my Ilia Fullest Volume mascara & was steered towards this by my favorite rep. This…ain’t it. Pretty much the only thing this has going for it is that it’s waterproof for sure (watery eyes FTW).

Easy enough to remove w/a cleansing balm. Minimum flakage & smudging after 12 hours of wear. But that’s it. No volume or lengthening or literally anything other than spider lashes. The formula is so thick & the brush is so oddly shaped that it’s almost impossible to get an even coat.

And don’t even think of using this with the Lancôme eyelash primer…does not build anything & actually makes it worse. I’ll probably return for the Monsieur big in the waterproof formula or pivot to the Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes.

For the price it’s not worth it for the results you get.

As the weather is getting warmer, I find myself gravitating more towards waterproof mascaras. I have oily/combo skin, and when it gets hot and humid, anything on my eyes and lashes loves to come down my face.

The Lancome Hypnose waterproof mascara does WONDERS. I want to say it is in between a wet and a dry mascara formula. It doesn’t sit too heavy on your lashes, and it creates a dramatic enough effect. I really like the formula, but I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I have a clumping issue whenever I use it.

Maybe it is user error or maybe it is the way my eyes are structured? I will say, even when it does clump up a bit, it still doesn’t look as bad as some other mascaras I’ve tried over the years that clumped up for me.

I still highly recommend this mascara for warmer and more humid days or anyone who has oily eyelids! :).

I have been using Clump Crusher by Covergirl for years and I love it! I am one of those people who regularly gets asked for beauty product recommendations, and this is a tried-and-true favorite! The formula can be layered without crumbling and never clumps.

When they say “clump crusher” they are not kidding! Excellent for all eyelash lengths and densities. It’s also excellent if applied over false lashes. Honestly, I cannot recommend this mascara enough.

Even the wand is excellent. Try it!.

Wow!! Wasn’t expecting this to be any good because hardly any western mascaras work the way I want them too on my stubborn, droopy Asian lashes even when waterproof. I also don’t want to spend a lot of money on mascara.

This nyx worth the hype waterproof mascara works almost as good as my Japanese ones!!! I’m so excited! The Japanese mascaras are getting more expensive for me to get, so I’m so relieved to find good affordable drugstore ones here in the states.

The NYX one does lengthen, separates and slightly volumizes my lashes nicely in 2 coats, probably would look even more dramatic if I do 3. Double the amount of product I get with this vs the Japanese mascaras.

Brush is not so big on my smaller eyes and shorter lashes, easy enough to apply to both top and bottom lashes with applicator. And it actually holds my eyelash curl!! Very minimal smudging, but I’ve heard that if you powder around your eye area, you can avoid smudging from mascara, not sure if that’s the case here.

I like to layer the essence lash princess over this for an extra dramatic and defined look. Lasts until the end of the day when I want to remove it, decently contact lens friendly, minimal/no smudging and doesn’t extremely dry out my eyes.

This is easy to remove for me as i use a really good waterproof eye makeup remover. So, so happy to have tried this mascara!.

If you have been struggling with mascara ruinning, smudging. , smearing from your eyes. STOP ✋ï¸. This is the best. I tried so many mascara throught the years that was saying waterproof but could’nt hold on my almond shape eyes.

But this one does. I always come back to this one. For the price, this was my best option. I tried other brand that are around the same price, (even higher) but around the same price range the only other one who could be as waterproofas Worth the hype, was making my eyelash really lumpy.

Pros : – WATERPROOF – can last 24h with no altercation – durable under sweat, crying, oil from your eyelid – can built a nice volume without big lump – make your eyelash longer – it is a nice black – easy to clean with micelar water Cons : – can feel heavy on the eyes ( depends on the quantity you put) – doesn’t curl your eyelash (from my experience) – need micelar water or a really good cleanser since the mascara can leave a feel on the eyes when not wash properly.

My picture show before and after applying (2 coat) and 7h after the application. No editing/ i did not touch my eyes and. I put make up to show it doesn’t transfert on it as well. 😊.

I have tried tons of mascara brands from prestige to drugstore trying to find one that works well for me. I keep coming back to NYX Worth the Hype. Let me start by saying I have naturally long eyelashes and big fluffy brushes tend to work best for me.

That’s the type of brush in this mascara. If you have shorter lashes it may not work well for you. It does take a few coats to get the look I like but I find that’s the case with any mascara I try. This mascara doesn’t tend to flake, clump or run.

My skin, however, is not oily and I don’t wear any other eye makeup besides mascara. That may or may not determine its staying power. The black color is somewhat of a duller black than some higher end mascaras which is perfect for everyday wear.

If I need an additional pop, I will put a coat of a blacker mascara on top. For the price point this mascara is a great value if you’re a person that likes the big fluffy brush.

For anyone who has been searching for a mascara that applies without clumping, wears all day without smudging & delivers length and beautiful separation, then “Falsies Lash Lift Mascara” is exactly what you need! I have tried numerous mascaras (and I mean numerous) only to be let down and left with subpar results…but “Falsies” did NOT disappoint! This mascara delivers Anazing results and does exactly what it claims.

The brush shape allows you to reach all your lashes, even the ‘baby lashes’ in the inner corners and lengthens, separates without any clumping. This is my favorite mascara and I will continue to repurchase again and again.

This is legit Beauties. I highly recommend this to everyone. You have to experience it to believe it. My Holy Grail.

I have been using this mascara for a few months now. The formula is very wet and can get a little messy during application. Give it time to dry between layers if you need to do multiple. I use a lash separator if I do more than one coat.

My lashes are long, but struggle to hold a curl (I also wear glasses most days) and this does a good job at holding the curl longer than most mascaras. The only downfall that I dread when I put it on is the removal.

I feel like no water how much extra time I spend trying to removal it all, I still have to wipe my under eyes off the next morning. I usually only use one coat. I might try the regular formula instead of the waterproof and see if it has similar results, but easier to remove.

A beautiful mascara that lengthens and makes lashes appear super black! But there’s a stipulation. It is only great for the lower lashes. If I put it on my top lashes, which are short and straight, the formula pulls them down and makes them literally point downward.

No amount of curling will prevent it. It gives no volume, which is a must for my top lashes. BUT it makes my bottom lashes look amazing and it can be built to two coats. It doesn’t volumize, but it makes each individual lash look plump and thick.

Because the formula does the opposite of curling (straightens and brings down with gravity) it makes my lower lashes appear longer than they actually are (pulls them down is the best way I can describe it) and is the very reason it works so well for lower lashes.

Seperates them beautifully. I use two coats per eye and it is perfect. Just don’t expect much of you’re using it on those top lashes. Only real con is the small size of the tube. Wish it came with more product.

However, one tube can last about six to seven months with 2-3 times weekly use before it starts to dry out and become unusable. On my third tube and will be purchasing a fourth when it’s time.

I’m 45, I’ve tried a lot of mascaras and this is the ONLY one I will wear. Here’s the deal. My lashes are light brown and and fairly long already, but I definitely need mascara. I want a mascara to darken and define my lashes, I don’t want some crazy fake lash look.

I want it to stay in place (I hate waterproof mascara). This stuff fits the bill. I am a former detective and had verrrrry long days. like in the 50 some hours and this mascara never budged. It didn’t flake, smudge or move.

Even when stuck outside on a scene in rain, snow or super humid days, this mascara stayed in place. I have tried numerous others and they just don’t hold up. I wear it to the beach and after I get out of the water, its just kinda gone, not running down my face.

The small wand lets me get all my lashes. I do a few up strokes and then a side stroke or two so the piece together and give a fuller lash look. It really is perfect if you want a NATURAL look that stays all day.

Controversial opinion- I didn’t like it. I wanted to love this product as I am a huge fan of other Mac mascaras. That said, because of fall out, I need to use tubing mascaras particularly for my bottom lashes.

Generally I will apply one coat of a non tubing mascara to my top lashes and use a second coat with a tubing mascara. In respect of tubing mascaras I’ve tried – Modelco, Rimmel, Kevin Aucoin curl and volume mascaras and now this one.

I brush of this mascara is most similar to the Kevin Aucoin volume brush but the formula is a lot more wet. For this reason, it does not perform well when used as a second coat and I found it really clumped my lashes together in a way I have not experienced with other tubing mascaras.

It performs better on the bottom lashes or by itself with just one coat but I think you can absolutely get better from other brands. Re the bottom lashes- I found then Kevin Aucoin curl easier to use as the curled brush is still fine but helps to prevent transfer onto your under eye skin.

As for long lasting tubing performance, it was as good as any other tubing mascara I’ve used. It does a pretty good job at lengthening lashes but no better than the Modelco tubing mascara and the clumping is not ideal.

For those that like volume, possibly this is a good choice, it was just too much for me!!.

This is the one. As an Asian monolid with stick straight stubby eyelashes that point straight down, it doesn’t get more struggle bus central with the panda eyes than me. My go to used to be urban decay cannonball, but then they discontinued it and I basically gave up wearing mascara.

Let me tell you, this is way better than the UD cannonball. I live in Miami Florida and it is incredibly humid here. I also work anywhere from 12-30 hours at a time at the hospital. Let’s be real no mascara can last 30 hours…but 12 hours after being in the operating room all day? Lashes still curled and no under-eye smudging.

Even at hour 24 there is a whisper of a curl left lol. I also go straight from work to the gym so I’ve tested it in humid sweaty Florida conditions. If I sweat heavily the mascara fades evenly and somehow doesn’t smudge at all under my eyes.

And it doesn’t sting my eyes either. On top of this, the wand is thin and the perfect curved shape. It works on my barely existent bottom lashes. The forumula isn’t clumpy and doesn’t have fibers that fall into your eyes throughout the day.

It also doesn’t irritate my eyes at all and I have sensitive eczema-prone eyelids. Please don’t ever stop carrying this product.

literally the best mascara ever, i will never buy another brand ever again!!! i have naturally longish lashes and could never find a mascara that showed them off nicely so i always wore falsies. this mascara holds a curl perfectly and lasts all day!!!! my tips are to make sure when you curl your lashes they are exactly set to how you want your mascara to hold them in place because this mascara does not budge at all once you apply it! highly rec you have a normal eyelash curler and the smaller section eyelash curler to really make the best of this mascara cause it will really keep your lashes curled the way you curled them!! also make sure you apply this first starting at your root, you want your root covered with the mascara to ensure you get the hold of the curl from it! micellar water is not going to cut it when taking this mascara off so you have to use an oil based cleanser or balm! i will never go back, this mascara changes your makeup game!!.

Since my lashes are super straight, I have to curl them and I often have a hard time finding a mascara that holds the curl. These mascaras did an amazing job not only holding the curl, but also staying in place the whole day with no smudging or flaking whatsoever.

I have like 3 lashes 😂 and they’re very thin but these mascaras made them appear fuller and longer. I only did two light coats and loved the result. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that they’re not the easiest to remove.

The cleansers/makeup removers are really good at removing my regular waterproof mascara fairly quickly and with no residue, but in this case, it took a little longer and I had to go with another makeup remover for the eye area.

Other than that, I LOVED these mascaras and I recommend them if you have straight, thin lashes like me. But honestly I wouldn’t use them on the daily. Just for when I want a more intense look.

Well, I have been searching for an alternative to my High Street chemist branch which is now selling for around £15! I am so pleased that I have given this mascara ‘a go’. The coverage is excellent. The wand took me a short time to master.

Personally, I prefer to use the wand on the ‘short’ side of the bristles. The wand gets down deep to the roots of my lashes and along to the tips, which in itself makes my lashes look so much longer.

Result! I have worn the mascara in all weathers and no smudging or flaking at all. I have found my new ‘favourite’ and at a third of the price of my last one, I am extremely happy!.

This is what we’ve been looking for!!! Or maybe it’s just me, I’ve been a long term user of Maybelline pink pack waterproof mascara which hasn’t worked so well for a while, but I will never go back this is perfect! No smudging, no black marks after a mornings wear, good brush that doesn’t clump and it feels light and not clumpy going on but you can build up two layers without worry if you want.

It’s not gonna give you spider lashes but that’s not me, I’m just happy that I don’t look like LingLing the Panda by 10am. Excellent price, excellent product, and I’m well difficult to please according to husband.

Def waterproof and all the great things, but it is just a little harsh to remove. I use jojoba oil to break it down and then a hot cloth, but it still leaves a residue so have to do more rubbing of the eye area than I like which irritates my sensitive eyelids.

Other reviews have said that it is very difficult to remove. It stays put though, so I guess that’s the trade off. Love the expanded curve brush, great design.

like how it makes my lashes look but it is NOT waterproof. not sure what’s up with that, but it’s my biggest issue with this mascara considering it has waterproof in it’s name. other than that, it makes my lashes look full and voluminous.

i wouldn’t say it is very lengthening, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is not for you. tldr: pretty mascara but isn’t waterproof as advertised.

this volumizes, lifts, separates, all the things you look gor in a good mascara. has a great wand. I am sad to say it is not waterproof. it wouldn’t survive a “good cry”. I had forgotten that was a promise of this product until I came to leave a review.

if you’re looking for a great mascara this is def a good option but not for a great waterproof mascara.

One of my favourite brands in beauty is Guerlain and as they had brought out a new mascara I decided to buy it. I have started using it and am very happy with the product and sleek packaging. I keep it in my handbag it’s my go to mascara !.

I would never buy this mascara by myself, if my friend doesn’t gave me as a gift, and i can tell u that its quite good! Nice smoothie texture, gives a good volume to eyelashes. Stays for long, and its easy to wash off from ur face💁‍♀️.

I received a deluxe sample of this NYX Worth The Hype Mascara from a recent Ulta online order. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I don’t think I’ll be buying it. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great volumizing and lengthening black mascara,… It gives me fuller and longer looking lashes in an instant.

The buildable formula is easy to apply and the thick bristled brush gets all of my lashes in one stroke. I truly love the fluffy volume it gives me and I love how affordable it is. My issue is the flaking.

It flakes CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!! From the moment I apply it in the morning to the time I take it off at night, little black specks are falling onto my cheeks (and occasionally into my eyes) every minute and every hour.

Sorry NYX, but this mascara is NOT worth the hype in my opinion. The formula needs to be fixed before I can recommend it to others.
