16 Best Waterproof Document Holder (2022 Updated)

Purchased the container as a tight waterproof element to hold my hearing aids in while enjoying snorkling. I wanted quick access to my hearing aids in case of an emergency. Before the trip I reviewed the product and did a pre-test in the shower, and sink trying to find any kink in the O-ring that seals the lid once closed.

I have been using one of these as my wallet for almost 10 years. I love that it carries a bit more than the typical slim wallet, while still keeping me limited to the essentials (license, medical insurance, credit and debit cards, and some cash).

It’ll also keep things dry and float if I don’t pack it too tight. I always replace the string with a key ring and house key. I replace them every 2-3 years when either the hinge or catch on the upper cracks off.

Who it’s for: Those that want to get out and get wet, but also have a need to store some credit cards or cash. What I like: The seals are strong and help assure you that your belongings will stay dry.

It comes with a lanyard that you can wear around your neck. The plastic is very tough, which alleviates the fear of being dropped by a wave and cracking open the case. It can double as a smaller wallet when you are on the go and don’t want to carry a larger wallet.

What can improve: Though I didn’t have any issues with it keeping closed it would be nice to see a mechanical closure that prevents it from accidentally opening if it were caught on something.

I had this purchased for me since I was starting to experience arm pain due to my keyboard and paper shuffling set-up. First, it is a good product in that it has reduced my neck and arm pain. I put it right in front of my monitors with the keyboard in front.

The top of my keyboard slides under the bottom of it, which is nice because I have a little more room. Second, I like that it’s clear because it takes up less visual space. And I can stash notes under it to see – like a desk pad.

The legs are heavy but not as heavy as I thought. I don’t move it around my desk, so it’s weight is not an issue. I would even recommend not moving it since the legs are wobbly when picked up. It is not sturdy and I am truly surprised that it costs so much.

I expected the shelf to be thicker plastic and for the legs to attach more efficiently. The legs are ok, but as noted above, they are wobbly when you moved it around. I am doubtful that it can hold 300 pages because the attachment screws don’t feel like they can be securely tightened.

I use the elastic band rarely, and only for keeping my place (like a ruler). It easily slips off. But, it’s the best I could find out there that holds paperwork between me and the monitor. And therefore my arms and neck feel much better.

This is the desktop document holder I’ve been trying to find for years. I do a lot of data entry from client-produced materials, and this holder holds a good quantity of paper. It’s width allows “paging” back and forth in a document pile.

It is sturdy and well balanced. The best feature is the ability to position the bottom edge of the holder below the desk surface so that it can be optimally positioned between the keyboard and the operator’s sight line to the bottom of the computer screen, while the weighted bases hold the device loaded with paper securely on the desktop.

This does exactly what I needed. It has weighted bases that just sit on your desk & are easily movable. The height of the holder is adjustable to go down over your keyboard more, or up higher. It also is tilt adjustable.

It has an expandable guide so it can go over thick files or binders. It will hold thick binders without falling off your desk. I was recommended this product by an ergo company. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the pricing.

The item itself is awesome for work & I already notice a difference.

Sturdy, well throughout device. A little too big to slip into my safety vest. It holds up to the rain better than my rite in the rain paper. The writing surface could be a bit more stiffer. The Elastic band could loose its elasticity over time.

I might just go head and purchase another one for next year. Is this product a one off or is it a permanent fixture of your catalog ?.

What a great product for the beach. It holds my car key fob, Id, credit card, and some cash. I clip it inside my swimsuit pocket and I dont have to worry while I swim and SUP. Nothing else on the market goes to the depth this does while remaining water tight.

Im thinking of getting the next size up for my phone and other electronics that I bring to the beach.

Along the lines of you get what you pay for, this stand fits right into that category. The stand does what it’s supposed to do and has a good capacity at the base to hold a moderate number of pages. However, the stand is very lightweight, likes to slip too far forward if it is heavily loaded and is easily knocked over by the cat that insists on coming between me and any copy I’m trying to edit.

The clip to hold the top of the pages slides up and and down a bit too fluidly and doesn’t really want to stay put until you’ve clipped pages into place but once you’ve done that, no problem. My biggest issue would be is the way the frame likes to slip forward – make sure yo have enough room on your desk to hold the stand from front to back; a narrow space is challenging.

Overall, I think I would buy this again. The stand’s limitations don’t outweigh the item’s affordability.

I bought this to hold up my 500+ page spiral-bound typing class textbook (pictured) so it would be closer to my computer screen and not lying flat on my desk. It does the job well. It holds the weight of this big book with no trouble.

I have not tried it with a non-spiral-bound (i. e. non-fold-in-half-able) textbook because my desk is not wide enough to accommodate both that and my computer, but I’m sure it would work just as well.

There are rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the desk. The kickstand on the back folds flat like the back of a picture frame. If you were using a much smaller collection of papers, you might get some use out of the clear plastic bar that slides up and down to hold your papers in place.

The silver clip at the top also slides up and down to accommodate different paper lengths. As I said, I use it to hold a textbook while I type. You could also use it to hold up a recipe book while you are cooking, a tablet to read, watch a movie, etc.

, or anything else you might need to stand up.

This is exactly what I needed to prop up my Arc planner next to my computer. It also does a great job with the clip holding a paper in place if I need to reference it quickly while writing something and the adjustable clip height is a great bonus.

Product is sturdy without being bulky or heavy.

I’m retired so I don’t need to handle lots of paperwork, but I do have a certain number of projects in process at any given time. These transparent folders are a great way to organize a few sheets of related paper for action.

A pending repair, tax filing, miscellaneous bills and so on can be collected together and easily recognized. The simple locking corner and two closed edges keep the smaller sheets and receipts safely under control.

I have used this item and the slightly thinner version of “Report Covers” for years. A great way to carry and/or transmit important documents. In my file drawer, important docs (legal, medical, certificates, etc.

) are first placed in this clear cover then filed. Easy to see and well protected. I print out travel documents and carry with me on trips as backup to what is stored on laptop and/or phone.

I love these things!!!! I use them for so many things in my classroom. I will put papers in them for display and hang them on the wall. It makes it easy to switch out vocabulary words each unit. I also use them to put printed board games in.

It makes the games much sturdier and helps them last long. I just switch out which ones Im using for the week. I also use them to put printed papers in like spelling lists for the week. That way kids can grab them and the papers dont get messed up.

I just switch them out as needed. The list goes on and on with all the functions of these bad boys. I had no idea when I first bought them how useful they would be. If you are a teacher, you need these in your life!.

Bought to use as a map case for small printed map extracts. Own several of these bags in a variety of sizes, absolutely top quality material that does not perish or discolour with age. Figured that it fits my kindle paperwhite perfectly – great for reading in the pool on holiday!.

Its a great water proof bag to put your maps and other things into. The material is soft and flexible. Very good quality.

Bombproof. Makes a nifty wee map case you can keep in a pocket instead of tying a larger one round your neck and throttling yourself in a howling gale.

I purchased this for my son who constantly loses the key to security boxes. The material is thick and although I have not tested in water or fire, it seems it would hold up at least for a while. The seal is high quality.

I love that it isn’t all black. It’s not obnoxious neon but stands out just enough to easily be spotted. It’s a great size for all your important documents and even a few small items. I may by a second for my important documents and add to my fire safe box for.

extra protection. I think this is a great item for a college student who may need a copy of birth certificate, social security card, emergency credit card. It would keep papers together and safe while not taking a lot of room or being highly conspicuous to others.

A good buy.

Just got this so can’t quite account for durability or water resistance (or, heaven’s forbid, the fire resistant abilities. which I hope will never be tested. ). However, it seems durable enough. It is flexible enough to allow easy manipulation to get things in and out but still holds it shape.

The velcro at the top is strong and hopefully sufficiently water resistant (I’m thinking of still using the ziplock baggies I have passports and vaccination cards and whatever, now inside the fire proof document bag, for extra security.

Have to check what happens to these in case of fire, though –I don’t want the plastic melted onto my documents!! Overall, so far, so good. It’ll go into a secure space after it’s filled, and hopefully will NEVER be tested.

Although, fortunately I have not yet had the opportunity to test how it stands up in a real fire, this little document bag seems sturdy, well-built, and capable of protecting my documents through some peril.

I hope I never have to find out. but right now I have this bag inside stuffed with some family legal docs and things to save. with the bag itself stored in a fireproof and waterproof safe. One would hope I’m taken care of.

I put all my important documents inside this then inside my safe. Great piece of mind to have if something unfortunate where to happen. Birth certificates money and most importantly old family pictures that can never be replaced.

I highly recommend this to everyone.

I like the fact that important papers can be folded and put in side this pouch. The pouch it self can fit inside a small security box.

I researched and shopped quite a bit looking for the features I wanted with a fire-resistant box/case/etc. When I came upon this one I felt that it was as good and possibly better than what I could expect from this type of fire-resistant storage.

So far, I completely satisfied with this Document box(bag). The amount of overall storage space and the wonderful pockets and pocket pages that are built in to the case are outstanding. The materials used for production are excellent.

I have only one minor complaint with it and that is the locking feature. It is somewhat difficult to get the zipper pulls held in the right position for the lock mechanism to latch thru them. This is not a deal breaker or even warranting a one star deduction.

I did was not and did not make my decision to purchase this for a locking feature. When all is said and done, knowing that HS will stand by my purchase with their Lifetime Guarantee gives me confidence that I have gotten what I paid for and feel confident that I made a very good choice.

I live in Colorado and believe everyone should purchase one. Whether your in the mountains, near water, or a suburb please purchase. This product has one the highest fire ratings and the size is terrific.

It’s not 8 by 11 so documents won’t curl and it accommodates legal size. Last year a neighborhood caught fire even though it was snowing and snow on the ground. The winds were gusty and what starts a fire is embers.

You never know how much time you have to evacuate! Keep a list inside such as water, blankets, pet food, sturdy shoes, socks, clothes, flashlight, cherished item, jewelry, to grab quickly. Take pictures of everything you have in the house.

Please, please think about this in advance and be safe.

Was looking for a little larger and lighter weight box than I currently have. This definitely fits the bill. Seems well made and offers plenty of ways to organize stored paperwork inside it. I guess the elephant in the room is: How well will it really withstand being engulfed in flood waters or fire? How well do the items inside it survive the temperature given and water.

So, short of setting it on fire or sinking it in the tub, there’s no way to really be reassured it’ll do the trick. It looks and feels like a fine product, but how does one honestly recommend a product (that is purchased specifically because it’s designed withstand fire and water) when you, yourself have never experienced how it actually does under those circumstances.

Wow, that was disappointing. I put the holder together, and it looks nice and appears versatile, but one of the clips holding the elastic cord broke immediately. I wasn’t sure I was going to use the elastic cord, but now I guess I won’t.

This is the worst engineering – it’s useless. The rubber band that you slide down takes both hands and if you don’t ease it carefully on side lets loose and the whole band goes flying. I can do a make shift with a ruler and piece of cardboard that works better than this.

There were no other reviews to read before buying this product.

Great product, adapts to most work spaces because it is mobile and you do not need to anchor it. It is also a great size, accommodating both portrait and landscape paper sizes. The only con was that it was a little confusing to put together, but it wasn’t rocket science! We have some very particular people in our office and they all really like it!.

The Deluxe Document Wallet is great. I brought one for myself sometime ago and then decided to buy one as a gift for someone else. I can keep my Car Title Registration, Insurance card and recent repair receipts in it and keep handy in the glove compartment.

Kind of expected a little more quality, but for the price I cant complain too much. However, the 4 stars is due to the packaging by the manufacturer. They stick in this cardboard that stretches out the clear plastic and makes it look tackier.

Works exactly as expected. Clear pockets on both sides. One for registration and the other for insurance. Simple and effective.

Tiny hole where zipper ends so I don’t know how it can be water proof.

I just received my Royce Passport Case today. First off, I’m going overseas in about a week. I was so worried this would not get delivered on time. The shipping information on the website stated that it would take 3 business days to ship from the vendor.

My case shipped on Tuesday (the day after I placed my order) and was delivered on Friday. I can’t believe how quickly I received my order! And with more than enough time to spare before my trip. Which was such a nice surprise! As for the case: It is made out of such supple leather.

I’ve tried many passport holders, and this one is top-notch quality. I chose the light pink option as some of the other colors were a bit too bold for my taste. The front of the case seems like it is stamped with silver instead of gold.

My preference would normally be for gold, but from certain angles, it has a golden cast to it. I’m so glad I purchased this!.

Recently purchased these as birthday gifts for an upcoming trip with friends. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the genuine leather (seems very durable) affordability, color options especially the option to monogram, and the quickness of shipment & delivery.

I just know they will love them. I purchased the black and bright pink. I removed 1 star only because the pink case is not grained like the black case or as bright as pictured, it’s more of a fuchsia /hot pink rather than “bright Barbie pink” which I was expecting.

I still highly recommend these as it is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) protected keeping their information from hackers upon travel & holds cards for easy access!.
