20 Best Waterproof Electric Toothbrush (2022 Updated)

Bought it as Philips offered a 100 day money back guarantee, so I could try it with no risk. I couldn’t find many reviews that discussed whether the product worked with different hair colour, so this is my review.

Legs and toes: I have shaved my legs for 40+ years, with dark thicker hair that was stubbly again within a day of shaving. After 1 treatment I could see hair was growing back sparsely and not as thick.

After 2 treatments my legs and toes were hair free. No stubble, amazing! Underarms: sparse light brown medium coarse hair which disappeared after 1 treatment Bikini line: 1 treatment saw a huge improvement and problem areas resolved after 2 treatments Face: Having suffered with PCOS I have noticeable facial hair, which is a mix of colours; dark (wiry), blonde (fine), white (wiry).

After 2 treatments my upper lip had very little re-growth. I had no white hairs there and it seems to have worked on the finer blond hairs and almost every dark hair after 5 treatments. The blonde hairs on my face have gone, but the very wiry dark and white hairs are still present.

I will persevere as I think the number of dark hairs is slowly reducing and possibly getting less wiry, but there is no effect whatsoever on white hairs (which I was expecting as per Philip’s guidance).

After one treatment a number of dark ingrown hairs on my chin started to grow normally which was a bonus. I also have very fine peach fuzz (blonde/almost white) which seems to be improved, but the jury is out on this as I have never treated it before, so it might just be a slow grower.

Conclusion – an amazing device, worth the money and I feel more feminine without hairy legs, toes and stubble. Easy to use but you do have to set time aside (takes me about 70 minutes to do half leg, underarm, bikini and face).

You also need to stick to a schedule, if you miss a treatment the instructions say you must start again.

I never write reviews but felt I needed to for this as I trawled through reviews for weeks trying to decide if I should go for it or not. I was sceptical at the start and didn’t think it would work but took the plunge anyway as I was so sick of shaving every day resulting in shaving rash, ingrown hairs and itchiness, especially on my bikini area.

I have quite pale skin and very light brown hair on my legs and underarms and dark hair on my bikini area. After the first session I didn’t notice any difference (you’re not supposed to) so I was worried I’d wasted my money.

However, after the second session I started seeing amazing results under my arms, I havent had to shave under my arms since the first session!! My bikini line was patchy but I could see the hairs were starting to fall out (I did a Hollywood as i wanted it all gone).

The hairs on my legs were definitely growing slower and finer. I have just finished my 4th session and I genuinely don’t need to shave anywhere at all!! There are maybe one or two hairs on my bikini area but that’s because I’ve missed them when using the lumea so i just need to go back over them.

I’m absolutely shocked, I really didn’t think it would work, never mind to the point I feel like I could throw my razor away and never use one again. It takes a while to do everywhere but it’s so worth the effort.

I used it on setting 4 as that was what the skin sensor suggested for my skin. It was mostly painless, however there were a few times when it felt like i was being twanged with an elastic band. But it wasn’t bad enough to say it was painful.

The lumea can get quite hot though so half way through I’d switch it off for a while to let it cool down as it was more comfortable to use. I’ve recommended this to all of my friends and family and I’m so happy I never have to shave or wax again and just have to top up with the lumea once a month.

My other half has just started using it on a patch of hair on his stomach he wants rid of after seeing how well it’s worked for me. Absolute game changer.

Do not waste your money on this product. Please QVC stop selling Philips Sonicare. Let me start by stating I bought this on QVC a little over 2 years ago for $105. Totally understand the QVC warranty.

However, I reached out to Philips as the brush completely stopped working. First I was trying to see if maybe it needed a replacement part, etc. $105 is a lot of money for a tooth brush that lasts a little over 2 years.

It cost me nearly $50 a year for a toothbrush. Philips customer card is useless, I had to show them proof of purchase which QVC kindly provided to me only to tell me there is nothing they can do and my receipt did not constitute proof of purchase.

I was not looking for a free toothbrush, I simply was trying to see if this could be fixed. Customer service at Philips even refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Again no fault on QVC, but simply a loyal QVC fan requesting that you do not sell their products.

Products will break and when you are simply looking for assistance to see if the tooth brush is fixable and you are hung up, dismissed to talk to customer service and with all due respect having individuals working for Philips whose is English is insubordinate.

Please QVC do not sell their products. Kick them to the curb as that is what they when you reach out for help. Find a manufacturer with morals and values and sell their products. Very disappointed !.

I bought two of these for Christmas (one for myself and one for my boyfriend). They were on sale, so they were cheaper than normal already, which was great. They don’t have all the features of the more expensive ones, of course, but I wasn’t really looking for something too crazy right now, since these our the first electric toothbrushes either of us have had.

Personally, I feel like it does the job just fine. It was already ready to go out of the box. I used it once and then still charged it just because I wasn’t sure how much of a charge it had. It definitely lives up to its claims of a 14-day battery life on a full-charge, maybe even more than that depending on if all of your daily brushing is done with it or not.

I only use mine at home, so it doesn’t come with me to work where I do brush twice daily usually (I have Invisalign, so I have to brush after breakfast and lunch). Overall, I definitely would recommend this toothbrush for someone who is just starting to experiment with electric toothbrushes.

I am a long time user of Sonicare toothbrushes (15-20 yrs) and have had at least 5, not including this one. I also purchased 3 more of this model as Christmas presents for family because I liked the new updated simple design and color choices.

Sadly, within 11 months, the metal shaft in the handle that the brush heads go on has gotten loose in the body, causing the vibration to be VERY loud. Another review of the 4100 series described the same issue.

I’ve never had a Sonicare fail in such a short time. Hopefully this is an isolated QC issue and will be resolved. I would have given 1 star, but switched to 3 stars due to the 2 year warranty and Philips being very easy to deal with to get a replacment.

I could have done it over the internet, but chose to call. The operator arranged a replacement at no cost to me, and instructed me that there would be prepaid return instructions with the shipment, or if not, I could dispose of it in an environmentally safe way (electronics/battery recylcling).

Not a long term review but so far, so good. This thing vibrates at very high speed, so it might not be great for everyone, but I like it. What I especially like is easily getting to the back of my teeth.

Honestly, my teeth have never felt so clean as after first flossing, then using my new Waterpik (see my review) and then finishing with this. It feels almost like I just had a professional cleaning. I haven’t tested the battery life at all so can’t comment on that.

The brush head is still looking good after 6 weeks. The OEM heads are quite expensive but I found what looks to be the same thing from an alternate source for much less. All in all, if you don’t mind the high speed vibes you will likely be amazed at how much cleaner your teeth feel.

I also brush longer and more frequently because it’s so easy to use.

This toothbrush is amazing I need about $1500 for a dental scaling. My teeth are fine but my gums are a mess I have periodontal disease and they were infected swollen and in pain. Sine I can’t afford the dental work right now…….

I bought this brush hoping it would help. Not only has it helped it was basically a lifesaver. I paired this with Plax mouthwash and I see the difference in less than seven days. This was the best investment I’ve ever made in a toothbrush.

It has three settings gum whitening and cleaning and it also has 30 second intervals which will let you know which quadrant you should be brushing. It buzzes when it’s time to switch. There’s nothing about this toothbrush that’s not wonderful.

If you haven’t used his toothbrush you’ve never brush your teeth in your life. A must buy. If you have plaque and tarter on your teeth also use bentonite clay with this toothbrush once a week it will be a game changer.

It’s is my second one electric toothbrush. And finally I fall in love with electric toothbrush, first one was same brand but it was much cheaper toothbrush, it didn’t work for me. But this one is amazing! I setup it like first time electric toothbrush user, and it’s work very gentle to help me get use to it.

And even the gentle cleaning my tooth’s so much more cleaner, I had to go to the dentist for cleaning, but I don’t need it now! The teeth are very clean there is no plaque at all! The only one thing that toothbrush looking so dirty, the toothpaste are stuck everywhere, it’s hard to clean, it’s better to buy in white color.

But anyways- amazing toothbrush! Love it so much!.

I just recently ended my partnership with a 5-6 year old 9700 model (or the equivalent model for 5 years ago). I knew this time around I didn’t want to spend $200 on a toothbrush. So far, I think the 5100 is basically the same thing for less than half the price.

It might have 1-2 less “modes”, but you’ll most likely only use the normal mode anyways. Personally, I actually like the charger on this model better as well. It’s more of a regular stand-style and is compact on the bathroom counter.

Please, don’t bother with the glass “cup” charger. For one, the glass get’s extremely grimy (you aren’t going to use it as a cup), it’s bulky, and all the elegance of the glass gets removed when you factor in the ugly cord sticking out of the base.

I have never tried any electric toothbrushes before, and I don’t have any real expectations from it. Well, I’m super excited to have an opportunity to try the Oral-B Vitality Rechargeable Toothbrush, and let me tell you how much I regretted for not getting one earlier.

I got this after receiving a recommendation from a relative, and after about 2-3 days of use I am already seeing (and feeling) improvement with my teeth. The electric brushes I had previously were not as powerful or abrasive.

This one isn’t one of the uber special ones — it has one mode and that’s it. That’s all I really need! I noticed after the first couple of users that some of the yellowing on my teeth has eased up, but today (after drinking espresso and eating donuts), I noticed my teeth were already brighter/whiter! (Disclaimer: I do use a fluoride-free whitening toothpaste, but it has never been this effective with the electric brush I tried before or manual ones).

I would recommend this to anyone who is not looking to spend $80+ dollars and/or doesn’t want or need anything super fancy but would still like to see some results or get that “clean” feeling only a decent toothbrush can offer.

I don’t think this product would be good for children under the age of say 13 or so, especially if their gums are sensitive. The brush is very abrasive, but that’s where the “clean” feeling comes from.

The only “cons” I’ve experienced after within 72 hours of purchase is that it takes FOR. EVER. to charge (in the manual it says it can take up to 22 hours, but lasts about 10 days [with x2 a day use]).

It’s not really a con because the manual says overcharging this unit is impossible so you can just leave it on forever.

Bought this from a CVS after a relative recommended it to me. Extremely pleased with how the brush cleans and have seen some improvements with my teeth after about ~3 days of use; the brush has removed stains I wasn’t able to treat with manual brushes or electric ones from competitors.

I brushed my teeth just now after drinking espresso and eating donuts, and my teeth are visibly whiter. (As a disclaimer, I do use a fluoride-free toothpaste, but never saw any results with the other brushes I’ve seen — manual or otherwise).

I wouldn’t recommend this brush to anyone who is looking for something super fancy (it only has 1 mode) or has sensitive gums/teeth (the motor may be too abrasive, but that’s what gives me that “clean” feeling).

The only “con” I’ve found so far is that the brush takes FOR. EVER. to charge up, but the manual outlines this (says it can take up to 22 hours for a full charge, which should last about 10 days with x2 a day usage).

The manual also states it is impossible to overcharge it, meaning you can leave the unit on 24/7. So not really a con, just something to be mindful of if you’re someone you likes to take if off the charger for a long time.

The mouth feels are good to me! I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend this one to others and my relative did for me.

OUR biggest issue with this product is the placement of the floss button on the handle. This leads to unexpected flossing of yourself as well as surrounding areas as the button is prone to being “bumped” on.

BAD DESIGN!! The brush button also suffers the same design thoughtlessness but makes a much smaller mess. Whomever chose this placement should be sent back to “Product Evaluation 101A”. Initially we did the brush/floss at the same time.

Great time saving idea but costly. Why? The next dental visit resulted in both of us having 4 cavities each (~800. 00 OUCH). I can’t remember the last time I either of us had a cavity. Having an engineering background, I wondered why we BOTH suddenly had cavities? The only change was using this device to brush and floss at the same time.

It then occurred to me that doing so removes the toothpaste/fluoride OFF the teeth leaving them exposed which likely resulted in the above. Reverting to flossing first and brushing second with the unit has eliminated the issue.

😉 Finally, the perimeter of clear cover outside the “brush” button turns orange after a month or so which to me indicates there may be a leakage/ corrosion issue. You sent a replacement unit and it has done the same thing 🙁 Coming from engineering, I understand the “Marketing PUSH” to get a new product to the “window” first and that’s been accomplished.

Now it’s time to clean up the hurry up and get it done oversights IMO. The above defects could be easily fixed with little effort. Great product otherwise that has helped a lot with my perio issues.

This is the first electric or sonic based toothbrush I used. Always used the standard method toothbrush and floss. The difference has been night and day! I’ve been using it for one complete dental checkup and cleaning cycle and the hygienist said my teeth and gums were very clean.

I’ve never been able to clean my tooth and floss as well as I can now. The flossing action of the Waterpik is second to none. And there’s no damage to the gums like with dental floss. It’s easy to use, efficient and quick.

Even mid day brush and floss with just water and a little hydrogen peroxide (3%) is very fast and does a wonderful job of keeping the teeth and gums clean. In my opinion, oral health care is the number one priority for maintaining a healthy body and, I 100% recommended this product.

The customer service is awesome too.

I’ve been using the Sonic-Fusion Professional 2. 0 for a little over a week now, and am very impressed. I have periodontal issues so oral health is very important to me, and I have found that using a water flosser is very beneficial in maintaining good oral hygiene.

Having the sonic toothbrush incorporated with the flosser is a great way to brush and floss everyday, and is wonderful if you are short of time. I sometimes feel rushed or just plain lazy and don’t floss as often as I should, so the Sonic-Fusion has been really great in that regard.

I have been using an electric toothbrush for several years, and the sonic brush is similar to that, but a bit more intense. At first I noticed some sensitivity, almost a tickling sensation, especially on the top, inner molars.

After a few days, that feeling has started to subside, and really isn’t very noticeable at all now. The unit came with 2 brush heads, 1 compact and 1 full sized. I personally don’t prefer one over the other, but both options are available when you need to replace the heads.

A feature I really like is how the top of the unit stays in place, unlike my previous units. It stays put and doesn’t fall into the water when I’m handling it. It also has air vents so it dries quickly.

Also, this single unit takes up much less counter space than having 2 appliances. It’s very easy to use and to switch between brushing and flossing. I especially like being able to do both at once, and love how simple and effective it is.

All in all, I feel like my teeth and mouth are definitely cleaner than they were before. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants a healthier mouth without a lot of effort.

As someone who has suffered from bad gums pretty much my entire life, I’m embarrassed to admit it took me a very long time to try an electric toothbrush. I bought this set at Costco since it was the best deal and came with two and almost immediately I felt and saw a difference! My gums looked better and my teeth felt cleaner.

I also love the protective travel case it came with because I always hated leaving my toothbrush out since it never fit inside my medicine cabinet. This toothbrush was definitely a great investment my only regret was not purchasing one sooner.

I switched to this electric toothbrush long time ago and my dental hygiene is so good now. The problem is that the toothbrush works only for one year and then dies. I had no trouble to replace it by Philips or Costco, but still weird.

Anyway, I can’t imagine my life without it.

Hoh-lee cow! I bought 2 packages of these, for a total of 4 brushes, as stocking stuffers at Christmas. These things mean business. My teeth feel straight-from-the-dentist clean without all the stress and emotional trauma ☠☠☠ I highly recommend! I had an electric toothbrush prior to cracking this bad boy open, but it should seriously be ashamed of itself.

I have been using an electric tooth brush for about the last 25 years and up to now have used Oral B tooth brushes with the last being an Oral B 6500 which has a separate display for timing. I thought I would try this Philips 7900 Sonicare brush because of its higher speed, quieter opperation, longer battery life and more compact size.

However, whereas the Oral B has a round brush head with the ends of the brisltes forming an essentially flat surface, the Philips has an elongated brush head with bristles forming a concave surface. Thus the Philips brush head is optimised only for cleaning the outer surface of teeth, which is half the task.

Even then, moving from cleaning the left quadrant of teeth to the right means rotating the tooth brush through 180º which means that at some point only the tip of the brush head is operating. Cleaning the concave inside of the teeth seems to involve cleaning with just the end bristles of the brush head or, more likely for the upper teeth, holding the tooth brush vertically and just using the top end bristles.

This results in much spray. Making use of the Bluetooth connection facility to a smart phone, is just too much trouble. It is difficult to believe anyone would use this facility on a regular basis when brushing 2 to 3 times per day.

There is timing by sound and interuption in brushing every 30 seconds but there is no enhanced sound/interuption when the 2 minutes has elapsed. Thus one needs to kepp count of the number.

First impression of the toothbrush was that it looked very stylish, the colour was nice to the usual white and I also expected it to be a lot heavier than it was but extremely light. As per instructions I did a full charge before using and after 2 weeks there is still charge which is amazing, My previous toothbrush would need re charging at least twice a week which was annoying.

Another great feature when charging is that there isn’t a big bright green button that flashes. Cleaning power is amazing and leaves your teeth feeling dentist clean, it is also a lot quieter than some others I have used.

The design and length of the brush heads are impressive and enables you to easily brush some of the harder to reach teeth at the back. When cleaning the front teeth I have found that it splashes water about more than I have noticed with other toothbrushes, it’s not too much of a problem, just means the mirror needs cleaning more often!! I like that after a period of time (depending on which setting you have selected) the toothbrush automatically turns off so you know you have cleaned for the right amount of time.

The app is very informative and keeps you updated on your performance and when you brush head requires changing. over all this is a very impressive, high quality stylish toothbrush which gives an exceptional clean.

Having used a variety of toothbrushes in the past i can firmly say this is the best by far. The product comes with a carry case a four heads ideal those on the go. The toothbrush base can be charged within the vase itself or with the sleek charging stand provided.

The most surprising and notable feature is the Bluetooth connectivity. This allows the brush to connect to a mobile app which can be downloaded for free. The app itself is fairly basic but provides useful insights such as brush times and frequency to reflect your daily routine.

The app or Bluetooth connectivity is by no means needed but these features have bought the humble toothbrush to the modern age. The toothbrush also has 4 cleaning modes. Each mode differs in intensity and duration allowing different types of cleaning.

The battery life is fantastic. Since receiving the product, using twice a day 2 minutes at a time, over a week later still not had to recharge. Cant ask for anything more. The brush being waterproof there no need to worry about the battery or the electronic inside.

One of the things i believe that is missing for this product is the lack of a power pack within the carry case. eve though you can charge through the carry case attached to a mains’ socket, there is no on the go charging inside the case.

This is a very minor nitpick for an overall fantastic product.

This toothbrush gets the surface of my teeth really clean but it doesn’t clean my mouth well. I wake up with bad breath if I eat something strong, with onions or garlic, for dinner. Brushing my tongue with it and using a tongue scraper helps a little but the result is still not as good as with other toothbrushes I used.

Other electric toothbrushes are too hard on my teeth though. This one is fairly gentle on my teeth, even at the middle setting so I will keep using it since it’s the best option I have for now. It was tedious to figure out with replacement heads to get.

Long time Philips user and brushes have worked as advertised. Purchased from Target on-line in Oct 2021 and box contained warranty that stated the offer expired in Dec 2019 and coupons that expired in Dec 2017.

No manufacturing data/date on the box, and may have been covered up with mulitiple sticker bar codes added (an old return?). Clearly this one was sitting on a shelf for years.

I’ve been using a Sonicare toothbrush for maybe 17 years and this one, my newest, a free trial to review, does not disappoint! (My old one, at about 10 years old, no longer held its charge. ) With this Sonicare 3 Series Gum Health, you will get ultra-clean teeth and a brush that’s easy to use and travel with.

The Quad Pacer technology is pure genius. You are supposed to brush your teeth for two minutes and the Quad Pacer makes sure to let you know when to move from one quadrant of your mouth to the next. No guesswork.

Just keep in mind that if you’re new to an electronic toothbrush, the Sonicare will take a bit of getting used to. It’s well worth it, mind you. First of all, again, they say to brush your teeth for two minutes each time you brush.

If you haven’t done this yet, two minutes will feel like an eternity at first. Second, you don’t press hard or brush madly back and forth with the Sonicare, like most people do with regular toothbrushes.

You simply put the toothbrush against your teeth lightly and move it against your teeth gently. Again, just something you’ll have to get used to if you’ve been using a regular brush. For me, when I started using my first Sonicare my bi-annual cleanings started going a lot better.

There was a lot less plaque to remove. Appointments take less time and are less harrowing (less scraping involved). I get a lot more compliments from the hygenist, too. Before starting with the Sonicare, a dentist had suggested I come in for more frequent cleanings.

These were NOT necessary anymore after the Sonicare. The only other thing you need to get used to with the Sonicare is the cost of the replacement brushes. You still need a new brush head after three months and they cost quite a bit more than your standard toothbrush.

But I think it’s totally worth it.

I had a Philips Diamondclean that stopped working after a few years and I needed a replacement as a manual toothbrush just doesn’t cut it for me anymore. I found this 4100 series on sale and decided to give it a go.

I’ve had this unit for about 3 weeks now, using it daily with no issues. I’ve charged it once after about 2 weeks of use, charging it overnight on the counter. The run cycle is about 2 minutes and 1 speed – my only issue is that the interrupt between sections could be a bit longer or more pronounced.

Also, the LED light could be bigger to make it more noticeable when the battery is getting low or shows it still has a good charge with the green light. I’ve missed it on several occasions while brushing my teeth.

Overall, I’d give it a 9 out of 10.

This is a fantastic little product that wowed me from the moment I opened it. The packaging was extremely sleek and environmentally friendly (no unnecessary plastics mostly cardboard) with a striking midnight blue design complete with gold Philips branding.

Although the brush head was a little smaller than I’m used to, it suited my mouth better. As a result, I was able to reach those hard-to-reach places a lot easier and twinned with the brushes micro vibrations and contoured bristles, left my teeth feeling cleaner than usual.

Another feature I liked was the brushing guidance, as let’s admit it we all lose track of time while brushing. However, the Philips One gives you a little buzz every 30 seconds to remind you to move onto the next segment of your mouth as well as a longer pulse after 2 minutes to tell you the recommended brushing time is up.

The brush also comes with a travel case which is VERY handy as it keeps the brush clean and free from the nasties that may lurk in your wash bag. Finally, the battery lasts up to 90 days which means more brushing those pearly whites and less time digging around that draw for a AAA battery.

Overall, I personally think this is a really great product with an eye-catching design and some canny little features that will enhance your brushing experience for the better.

Pros – Soft Bristle Toothbrush Head is comfortable. 30 second quadrant timer is much more noticeable than the regular Philips Sonicare… Appreciated. One star earned. Cons – Everything else. Way weaker than regular Philips Sonicare Toothbrushes… You have to brush like normal.

The gentle vibrations just add to brushing to make it more effective. Clumsy design on travel case. DEALBREAKER – This KILLS batteries in One Day at a time. That’s what Philips must mean by he “One” name even though it claims 90 days of battery life! The cheap Philips AAA Battery it came with died during my second brushing on the first day.

I figured it was just a crappy battery no big deal. Put in a fully charged rechargeable AAA battery, finished brushing. The next day this died. I repeated with another fully charged AAA battery same thing dead next day.

Unacceptable… Went back to the real deal Philips Sonicare rechageable. Dont waste “One” day of your time on this junk.

A month ago, I started Invisalign. I tend to be someone who goes a little too hard with my brushing when using a manual toothbrush, so I was looking for something that would help me gently and effectively clean my teeth.

while also being something I could easily bring everywhere. So far, a month in, I’d say I brush about 5 times a day on average and prefer this brush over my Oral B electric brush, my manual toothbrush, and any travel toothbrush I’ve ever bought.

I like that it has a auto timer once you turn it on, sanitary case, looks cute, and it does exactly what I need it to. I don’t apply too much pressure because I can feel it pulsing against my teeth as I’m making circles and going back and forth.

My teeth feel clean after and it hasn’t been rough on my gums at all (despite the increased brushing frequency). So far, I love this toothbrush and I’m glad I ignored the bad reviews. It’s made dealing with a lifestyle change a little bit more enjoyable.

Wish it came in more colors!.

I bought this about 2 months ago and was excited to have the capability of detecting when I push too hard on the toothbrush. I found out that I am not a major offender and it happens less than 2% of the time.

Pros: The unit indicates when I push to hard with I am brushing. Cons: the brush body gets very slippery when the saliva migrates down the brush to the body of the brush. Sometime I can barely hold onto the brush.

The brush heads are only effective for about a month for me. After 3 weeks I begin to notice that my teeth don’t feel as clean as the day goes on. After 4 to 5 weeks, I can notice the difference right after brushing.

I change the brush head and everything returns to Clean and Fresh. I bought a two pack of the brushes, so I could leave one of the brushes in my travel kit. The toothbrush in my kit lost the full charge in less than 6 weeks and I was very surprised when I tried to turn on the brush while visiting my sons house.

When I brush without using the App, the saliva and toothpaste mixture keeps onto the brush while I brush. It gets to the point where I obscures the display that tells me when I have completed the 2 minutes.

It would be nice if the brush generated a different tone, or pause when I hit the 2 minute threshold. The app is a good idea, but I have to stand straight up while brushing in order for the sensors to detect the area that I am brushing.

When I stand straight up I tend to express more saliva/toothpaste mixture onto the brush.

This is a really good electric toothbrush. Furthermore, I think it’s actually important to note that in a day and age where everything is going overboard with smart connectivity and millions of options and settings, this actually doesn’t do that.

It’s as if someone high up said, “You can put modern features in, but at the end of the day, don’t forget it’s just a toothbrush. ” And I appreciate that they didn’t try pander with useless gimmicks.

This does, however, have 2 faults that are making me on the fence about returning. The first is the brush heads. I have this on the extra sensitive setting, and even got the sensitive brush heads. But it’s still not soft.

Feels at least like a medium in a manual toothbrush. And my old model from at least 5 years ago had a replacement head that was very soft. So that came in as a real bummer. The other thing is also a feature in older ones that aren’t in this.

I know it can be personal preference. But in the old one, the vibration would immediately stop entirely when you put too much pressure on it, and immediately resume once corrected. This keeps going, but does notify you by changing the ring at the top of the handle red.

The old way was more of an interruption, and possibly a bit more annoying. But the annoyance of it is what helped curb the habit of brushing too hard. For those where that’s a big problem, the old way helped curb that habit pretty quickly.

Overall, I would say you don’t need to spring for one this expensive, considering it doesn’t have any features that are a true wow factor. And is a bit limiting in areas.

I purchased the Black Onyx IO Series 9 toothbrush a week ago and the features are very nice, however, the traveling case is absolutely terrible. First off, it is all plastic and very cheaply made. The button does not work and I have to use force to open the case.

While using force, the toothbrush and brush fall out. I talked to customer service and she was not familiar with this case and offered no support other than to, “be careful. ” I am very confused as to how this is not a functional issue.

The reason I purchased the 9 vs. 8 was for this case. I travel a great bit and my old Oral B toothbrush couldn’t hold a charge longer than 48 hours. If you do not need a traveling case, then I suggest going with a cheaper model (IO 8 or 7).

The toothbrush itself is made out of plastic and slips through your hand. I love the design, but Oral B is increasing its prices and using cheap materials. My old Oral B toothbrush has some weight to it and a grip, that case was amazing.

On a side note, the Black Onyx does show toothpaste. It will drip down as you brush your teeth. The larger brush head makes it difficult to hold your mouth closed to avoid this. I have a habit of removing the brush head and rinsing everything, drying, then setting aside.

I do not mind doing this, but it is something to take into consideration.

Did my investigations/comparisons and decided to bite the bullet and purchase, luckily had vouchers for Chrimbo that covered a lot of the cost but definitely worth it. Apart from the testimonies, etc, another reason for purchasing was that there was a decent returns window if I found that this was not suitable for me.

I had another brands device that was painful to use on the more sensitive parts and the treatment window was small thus was a chore to use, but this one was a absolute dream. Treatment time is so quick and easy, and a quick wipe keeps the Prestige looking like new.

The first time I used the device I was surprised at how quickly I managed to do face, underarms, bikini and legs and no sensitivity afterwards either. Hair free on legs and lady ‘tasche already and almost there for underarms.

Bikini line being stubborn but definitely much less hair regrowth. Almost a razor free body – hurrah. App useful for keeping track of settings used and reading/watching others experience along with their tips.

I have fairly dark skin (verging on the darkest that this can manage) and I would highly recommend this to others.

The Philips Sonicare 4100 is a great entry level toothbrush for the Sonicare line. I have had several of these, I decided to get this one for my daughter that has lost most of her teeth and I want her to start developing good habits and I thought this would be a great tool for that.

I will keep this simple, and go over this with a pros and cons overview: Pros: 1. Price: At under $50, this is a great deal and you are getting a great toothbrush that cleans extremely well for that price.

2. Smart timer: This like all the other Sonicare toothbrushes have a standard two minute timer. The toothbrush vibrates in 30 second intervals and makes it easier to complete a full two minute brushing (as recommended by the ADA).

3. Battery life: According to the box, it says It has a two week battery life? I think it last more than that, but that may be just me. 4. Cleaning: If you are going from a standard toothbrush to this, it is like brushing your teeth for the first time.

You cannot get your teeth as clean with a manual brush. Your teeth feel polished and makes your time flossing even easier. Cons: 1. This is the first model I have ever received that did not have a power plug.

It has a power cord the plugs into the back of the charging platform and the other end is a USB-A plug. No additional connector to plug into your outlet. Just kind of odd, but not a deal breaker. If you are looking to move on from a standard, manual toothbrush this is a great option.

You can spend a lot for a brush or set of brushes in the Sonicare line, several hundred if you so please. As I mentioned at the beginning, this is the entry level brush my daughter is staring with and it is working out well for her.

I recommend it anyone looking to upgrade to a great toothbrush for a very reasonable price.

The Philips Sonicare 4100 is an excellent powered toothbrush without all the additional intensities(modes) and bells & whistles. The 4100 uses only two intensities which is high and low. I usually use high but if this is your first time using a Sonicare I recommend using it on low.

The Sonicare is strong on high and perfectly clean your teeth but from my own use I know that I needed to start on low until my teeth/gums got used to it. This was also written in the instructions. The charger on this 4100 is different than other because it is USB A.

Meaning you can plug this into any USB A charger. Or if your home outlets are equipped with USB A you can plug them right into that. Most hotels now are equipped with USB A ports, so this is great. However, this toothbrush does not come with the power adaptor.

I find this as a flaw because while everyone pretty much has USB chargers lying around, I still find that it should come with one. At this point I rather just have the standard plug. I mean this could be useful if your always on the go, traveler, live in the back of a van.

But for me come on and give me the charger. If you open this and don’t know you need a charger and don’t have an extra one available or have to use one from another device, I would be upset and feel like this was a waste of my time.

I have a spare USB charger but if I didn’t, I would have been upset. Put a charger in the packaging. This model is also not equipped with a travel case. SO, its USB A to charge to help with traveling etc.

but does not include Sonicare’s travel case? What I also like about the 4100 is that you still get reminder lights. One is to remind you when it’s time to replace your brush. There is also a pressure sensor which also illuminates if you press too hard.

This 4100 comes with the C2 plaque Control brush head but you can use any of the Sonicare brush heads. I have owned Sonicare toothbrushes for a while now and I like to change to different types of heads depending on my needs or just to change it up.

This is equipped with two timers. A 2-minute overall timer which depowers your toothbrush letting you know your brushing is finished and 30 second vibration timers to help you focus on brushing the 4 quadrants in your mouth (top left and right, bottom left and right – can be any order) Overall, you are getting 4100 toothbrushes equipped with a USB-A charger rather than the regular charger.

Reminder: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE USB POWER ADAPTER AND NEEDS TO BE PURCHASED SEPERATLY OR SUPPLIED FROM HOME! I will only recommend to a friend if they need to charge using USB A or if their bathroom outlets are equipped with USB A on their outlets which would free up a regular outlet.

What I liked about this toothbrush right off the bat was how easy it was to put it together & how fast it charged. As soon as I opened it, all I had to do was attach the brush to the handle and charge it for about 20 minutes or less.

It doesn’t have any weight to it which makes it as easy as holding a regular toothbrush compared to other electrical toothbrushes with a little weight on them. With that being said, what I didn’t like was how powerful the toothbrush was.

It has two levels of power and the lowest one was still a little too strong for me. Not only was it an unpleasant cleaning experience because of how powerful it was but I actually had to switch to my regular toothbrush midway to finish brushing my teeth in peace because the strong vibration started hurting my teeth.

I’ve used an electrical toothbrush before along with a water pick and it was a smooth experience. The vibration was just right and my teeth didn’t hurt during or after my cleaning which is what I expected with this one so this toothbrush was a tad intimidating for me.

If you’ve been using electrical toothbrushes it shouldn’t be an issue for you but for someone who’s never owned one before it may be a little intimidating and getting used to. Especially if you have sensitive teeth and gums.

If the power wouldn’t have been so strong, I would’ve loved to kept using this toothbrush but it isn’t for people with sensitivity.

I’ve been using Oral B toothbrushes for over 30 years and the only reason I’ve had to replace any of them is due to the batteries failing over time – this is my fourth, and I had really high hopes when I bought it back in November 2021.

I was consistently getting 10 days use before the unit went onto reduced power, which was great, as I’d bought this one specifically for the travel case meaning I could take it away when I had to travel in April (2022)- it lasted the whole trip without losing power.

However, when we went away for a long weekend this month (July 2022), you can imagine my dismay when the fully-charged unit suddenly dropped to reduced power four days into our five day trip. Luckily it had just enough power for me to be able to use it on the morning of day five, the day we travelled home.

I charged it as soon as I got home (Tuesday) and this morning (Saturday) I am having to charge it again. This now means that I am unable to take it away with me later in the year, because the last thing I want to have to do is pack yet another charger (along with a plug adapter).

So, I’ve given it four stars for the clean – it would have been five if not for the disappointing battery life.

I bought this as my previous Oral b brush died it had lasted a long time so I was happy to buy another Oral b. I didn’t want to spend loads but I wanted one with a decent battery life. And so I decided on this one.

The battery life is good, the colour is lovely and it cleans well. I like that it’s got three modes although the booklet doesn’t state in what order they are sadly. It has a small battery indicator to let you know when needs charging and a light to let you know your pressing to hard.

The only issues were that to turn it off you need to press it three times if your using the first mode, would have been better to have a off button separately. The charger light could be bigger but other than that it’s a good toothbrush for the price.

I used to have a lot of Black Plaque on my teeth, no matter what toothbrush I used to use nothing would take it off. My teeth were also yellowish in colour. I was very embarrassed to smile, I was not confident in my smile at all.

I was also so embarrassed going to the dentist. My dentist tried to remove it but was unsuccessful. I was told by the dentist that my black plaque on my top back tooth would never be removed no matter how much I brush my teeth.

So I gave up looking for the best toothbrush to remove my plaque. But one day I heard about the oral B pro 3 electric toothbrush and decided to buy it and give it a chance. After using it for a few days I was mind blown when I saw the result of my teeth.

I noticed some of the plaque had come off. And after a week my plaque was completed remove and my teeth were much more whiter than they were before using the electric toothbrush. I would not choose or consider any other toothbrush as this toothbrush was absolutely amazing.

Not only was I now confident in my smile but the electric toothbrush did things that the dentist could not do. I could not recommend this product enough. I would highly suggest you to try this out. It is an absolute game changer.

PROS: • Novel design that offers options for user to BRUSH ONLY, FLOSS ONLY or BRUSH & FLOSS simultaneously. • Initially had apprehensions because a less sophisticated competitor did not afford the range of adjustments for flow rate of the flossing water that’s available with the WATERPIK model.

• The water flow on the competitor’s model was so high that my gums felt stung by the high impact of the water. Moreover, the other model was only a flosser, not a two action (brush & floss) in one brush head deal.

• At the lowest point on the dial, the WATERPIK affords a very low and gentle water flow so the user can turn up the volume for higher impact flossing to ‘tolerance’ after getting comfortable with handling the tool.

• As well, the WATERPIK brush function has a high and low setting. • Due to the range of adjustments, integrating the brush with the floss function was an unexpectedly easy transition. • I have a countertop water filter that delivers ionized water: acid, alkaline and purified.

Using the negatively ionized water in the WATERPIK unit gives me a deeper cleaning than purified water only. • But any mouth wash or similar dental hygiene product can be used as the flossing liquid.

• When I found my teeth were sensitive to the flossing impact of chilly water, I now warm up my water just a tad before starting a brush and floss session. • I use the WATERPIK as a complement to daily electronic brushing and flossing with essential oils such as peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen (when dowsed positive).

• Bottomline, I liked the extreme fresh mouth results so much that, next day, I used the ½ OFF Coupon Code to purchase a second, larger brush head at the WATERPIK online store. • The multi-tasking brush and floss solution helps all who are ‘dental hygiene resistant’ to up their plaque elimination game, especially great for those who find flossing near impossible.

CONS: • Though the tool is one giant step for humanity, disappointed that when the battery dies, the unit must be trashed in order to recycle the battery. • You literally must crack open the bottom of the brush handle to remove the battery.

Consumers could use a battery range data point as one might get with an EV. As well, an EMF data point is useful for those who are sensitive to electromagnetic fields. • Among a litany of other personal and household tools, electric toothbrushes should allow easy battery removal and replacement.

• During our green initiative to mitigate global warming, corporations should be leaders in post-consumer waste management. Protecting the buyer’s ‘Right to Repair’ reduces waste and eliminates the microaggression of transparent ‘planned obsolescence’.

• When I experience durable longevity in a product, I become a loyal brand ambassador with lots of promotional good will to share.

When I first saw an ad for the Sonic Fusion, I was immediately interested. I usually use a rechargeable ultrasonic toothbrush plus a separate rechargeable water flosser. I use them both in the shower (yes, I’m one of those people), and while I like their rechargeability and portability, I wanted to see what it would be like to have a brush and water flosser all in one.

Short answer: The Waterpik Sonic Fusion 2. 0 is great (with a few “buts”)! It’s great because it is a very good ultrasonic toothbrush, offering two brush head speeds (I think high speed is the only one I’ll use), and the bristles are a nice medium-soft stiffness, but the head itself is somewhat too small for my mouth.

Waterpik offers a larger size head, but it doesn’t come in the package. Instead, you have to buy it from them directly. It’s great because you can both brush and floss at the same time, and the flosser has a wide range of adjustable pressure, but because the flosser is in the brush head, you can’t get the water stream right down at your gumline, which means there’s a learning curve on how to angle the head to get a great flossing experience.

It’s great because it’s a really high-quality machine and I have confidence it will last for along time, but it isn’t portable or usable in the shower. It’s meant to sit on a countertop and stay plugged in.

In fact, you can only use the flosser if it’s plugged in. Without AC power, only the brush works. This means I’m using the Waterpik Sonic Fusion 2. 0 in addition to my portable toothbrush and water flosser, not instead of.

That’s a bit of a bummer. The brush itself can be detached from the hose and used as a normal cordless ultrasonic toothbrush, but it needs the main unit to charge, so it may only be good for short trips.

Of course, when the battery dies it becomes a regular toothbrush, so it never ceases to be useful. It would be better if: • It came with more than one brush head size • It came with a flossing head without the brush to make it easier to target between tight teeth and at the gumline • It came with enough battery power to be used away from AC power However, it is still a great appliance.

The brush head speed is great; if feels good to brush and floss at the same time, and the adjustable brush speed and flossing intensity is excellent. If the use case outlined above (i. e. plugged in on a countertop) meets your needs, I recommend it.

I am an avid user of electric toothbrushes because they provide a thorough clean on the surface. I floss on a somewhat regular basis. What I mean by that is pretty much every other day or when I have devoured a bag of popcorn because I was binge-watching a series on Netflix.

Flossing isn’t fun and I cannot imagine anyone eager to do it. I flossed with the old-fashioned wax floss that was never comfortable using between my teeth or I would use the ‘silk’ floss which provided a smoother flossing session but still had issues.

I had heard of waterpiks but I never gave them any attention because I assumed they were for people that had oral issues that I had never heard of. With the Sonic WaterPik Fusion 2. 0, I feel like I have missed out on so much when it comes to brushing and flossing.

Brushing: As you would expect with a Sonic electric toothbrush, it provides that porcelain smooth clean after each use. The toothbrush is on an auto timer for 2 minutes plus which allows you to get all the sectors of your mouth evenly.

It’s just easy. The WaterPik: The first time that I used the Waterpik, it was a WHOA experience. Setting up the reservoir is simple. Add warm water, attach the Waterpik hose to the bottom of the toothbrush and you’re good to go.

Make sure you follow the instructions when you first prime the Waterpik. The CLEAN: As I mentioned before, the first time I used the Sonic Waterpik, it was unlike anything I had expected. The pulsating water jets get in between the teeth and BLAST out any food that wedged itself in between the teeth.

There’s also a dial on the base that allows you to increase or decrease the force of the Waterpik. I’m excited about using this because I don’t have to worry about the debris that I might’ve missed only to sit down and realize that my flossing had somehow missed it.

The Sonic Fusion shows no mercy and removes the most stubborn of popcorn kernels or other small pieces of food. You can even blend in mouthwash to the Waterpik reservoir, giving you that minty and clean feeling.

You can also use the Waterpik AND the Sonic toothbrush simultaneously but that’s something I need practice with since my mouth wasn’t ready for a bombardment of cleaning all at once. If you know anyone who is lacking in their flossing habits or someone who might not like using string floss because of the sensation it has, then I honestly think that the Sonic Fusion 2.

0 Waterpik will provide an opportunity to not only have smooth, clean teeth but also have incredibly healthy gums. I am anxious for my next dentist visit in a couple of months to see if he notices the difference from my last visit.

I own both the toothbrush and the floss pick. I really wanted to like to quip but it falls short on a number of expectations. Let’s just do a simple pros and cons: PROS Aesthetically pleasing design: All their products look nice, modern and sleek.

But that’s not enough when the goal is to maintain good dental hygiene with reliable products and honest customer service. Subscription-based concept: Many can appreciate the ease and efficiency of regularly scheduled product shipments, but often times I ended up with excess product (I had to remove the toothpaste soon after subscribing because I was amassing a lot of tubes!) CONS Terrible customer service: This is the biggest pet peeve I have with quip.

Without going into too much detail, I ended up waiting so long for them to respond to my emails (it takes them about a month to respond) regarding the floss pick that they basically caused me to exceed the return-window period.

How convenient for quip. Form before function: Ultimately, I think the product quality speaks volumes. The toothbrush is so fragile underneath that the first time I had to switch out the brush head it cracked near the top casing of the motor component, thereby making the product unusable.

I thought I would give the floss pick a try, but the pick is too big to get into all the hard-to-reach places in the mouth and the floss itself is way too flimsy. It doesn’t create a tight hold and the string keeps getting loose.

It seems like the idea of quip was initially novel but it hasn’t lived up to my expectations (or those of many who have commented on here). I will not be buying anything else from them and would strongly urge you to read these comments and think twice about buying anything from them as well.

Our whole family has used these brushes (husband, myself and kids ages 7, 5 and 3). We REALLY wanted to love them but after a couple of years, we’ve decided to cancel our subscription. Pros: Love the 2 minute timer and fun colors, especially for the kids – it encourages them to brush.

The design is simple and appealing, it looks nice stuck to the mirror (love that feature) and isn’t tacky/gaudy like the mainstream brands. It’s a nice size and easy to travel with. The subscription makes remembering to change your brush out so easy, practically effortless.

Cons: When it comes to actually doing the main job of keeping our teeth clean, we have been pretty disappointed. I never felt like I could get my teeth clean with this brush. Like maybe the vibrations are quite strong enough or the bristles don’t quite reach every nook and cranny.

The motors would randomly stop working mid brush for no apparent reason and sometimes not restart. My husband’s randomly turns on by itself at all hours of the day/night, the motor in my daughter’s had to be replaced within a couple of months because it quit working altogether.

Every time I changed the brushes, the inside was SO gross and it accumulated quickly inside the case too (which was really hard to clean). Sorry to say we will be leaving the Quip family after giving it a good honest, tried and true chance.

We’ve just had nothing but troubles with these brushes and are less than impressed with the product. The customer service has always been great, but the product is just not quite there.

The only thing this toothbrush does is vibrate. That’s it. My dollar store toothbrush cleans my teeth better than this. This also severely agitated my sensitive teeth for whatever reason. Just to make sure this wasn’t a me problem, I decided to try their toothpaste as well, and still same effect.

This thing is worthless. To be quite frank, there are “personal” massagers that have more power than this toothbrush could ever think of having. I don’t understand the hype or trend of this brand, and am not a fan.

I used it for maybe 2 weeks, and will never touch it again. Buyer beware. If the claims sound too good to be true, then 9 out of 10 times, they ARE too good to be true. Hopefully others have had a better experience.

I’ve been using the Green toothbrush 24/7 for 2 months and it just doesn’t do the job. To late for me to return it since I would use this for traveling. You would be better off just getting any cheap toothbrush on the market (non-electric) for what this toothbrush delivers.

I’m bummed because I would have loved to have a new toothbrush design.

I’ve always been curious about electric toothbrushes, but I never got around to trying them – don’t ask me why because I have no idea. In any case, I’m really glad that I decided to give it a go because it makes a world of a difference in terms of cleanliness.

There are four different colors available, but I got coral because I’m a sucker for pretty pastels. For those of you interested, you can also get slate, aqua or pearl. Their toothbrush cleans with sonic bristle vibrations, and it comes with two modes; classic clean for a regular brush and GLEEM clean for extra brushing power.

Each package comes with a handle, a brush head, a charger and a travel case. It has an indicator light along with a quiet motor for a quiet brushing experience, and you can refill it with brush heads that are available for purchase separately.

I also had the opportunity to try their professional teeth whitening light kit, and I could definitely see results. They claim that you can see a difference in 3 days and get pro-level whitening within 7.

They use the same enamel-safe whitening ingredient that dentists use so you can feel good about trying this system out at home. I’ve had issues with sensitivity in the past with at-home whitening products, but this was completely painless so I highly recommend giving it a try.

I’m a big coffee and tea drinker so this kit was an absolute godsend.

Do not buy. Its just a vibrator type brush with nearly zero lateral agitation. It will vibrate the crap out of your hand, tickle your mouth and do almost nothing on the brush. Typical cheap design, the good ones are harder to manufacture as they require some engineering.

These are just motors with a offset weight. Rip off. Period.

I purchased this product for my daughter and I for Christmas and I love the daily results. I injured my right hand which caused me to use my left hand to brush my teeth for six weeks. I couldn’t have done without the Pur-Well toothbrush.

We both love how clean and fresh our mouth feels after using this product! I will always use this toothbrush! I also travel for work and the charge stays up while I’m gone 3-4 days!!.

I have tried many power toothbrushes, but the Pur-Hydro clean toothbrush is hands-down the best!!! The different settings allow me to brush around sensitive areas and the battery is still going strong after over three months of use.

I love the long, small brush head. It gets to all surfaces of my teeth, even behind my molars comfortably. An excellent product and very affordable!.

The Pur-Hydro Clean Toothbrush is amazing! I switched from the Sonic toothbrush seven months ago and couldn’t be happier or more satisfied! I love the fact the battery lasts weeks between charges and the toothbrush does a through job cleaning my teeth.

The fact I have multiple brushing programs from which to choose is another positive for the Pur-Hydro. I am totally satisfied with this toothbrush!.

I’ve tried, Quip, I really have. I bought my first Quip about three years ago. It worked great…. Until I replaced the brush head when the subscription replacement arrived. After that, the head was prone to falling off the toothbrush during use, and the motor tended to shut off when the slightest pressure was put on the brush head to brush even very, very gently.

Quip replaced this brush, telling me it must be defective (I agreed, but also pointed out the design of the brush head cartridge as it attached to the handle also has a design flaw built in that gives up the natural mechanical advantage, and in fact actually acts as a lever that serves to turn the advantage toward the brush head being separated from the handle through normal use).

The new Quip was great – a return to my initial experience… until it was again time to replace the brush head cartridge. I struggled through for about a year or so. And I finally decided maybe it was me being cheap for buying the lower-end Quip that is all-plastic construction.

So about six months ago I invested in the metal-housing Quip, presuming more durable construction would mean more consistent operation. Wrong. Now I’m done. Replacing with a new mechanical toothbrush that’s a different brand.

Also, a tip to continued Quip users: Do NOT use the quip’s holder that also can be a travel cap as a daily use item. It WILL mildew inside due to insufficient drainage and ventilation. This item is best used only for travel, but should be sanitized and carefully dried ahead of your next travel once you return home.

Summary: Quip is a $35 investment in a glitchy mechanical toothbrush that it’s best to accept as a very expensive conventional toothbrush that also requires a $5 user fee every three months when your replacement bristle cartridge arrives.

I was so happy to receive a quip toothbrush as a birthday gift in December of 2020. I liked the size and how comfortable it felt in my hand. As the months went on, I was changing the batteries more and more frequently.

I started having issues where the quip would cut off & then resume operating on and off. It became very frustrating to me. I tried detaching the head, removing the batteries and letting the parts sit on their own between uses.

It just got to the point that using my quip was more trouble than it was worth. Such a disappointment to me, as this was my first toothbrush that was not a manual one after over 60 years brushing in that manner.

I am VERY disappointed in the Quip and I ended up throwing it in the trash! I wish my daughter had not wasted her money purchasing this for me. The monthly replenishment including a new brush head, toothpaste & batteries was only good for about 6 months after I received my Quip.

That’s how long I was able to use it before the problems started. You really need to work on this product. Great idea but a TREMENDOUS disappointment. I would NEVER recommend your product!.

After my fantastic Sonicare toothbrush finally stopped charging after 12 years, I saw the Quip and gave it a try. I like the idea of a removable/replaceable battery instead of having a separate charger, but firstly, the vibration is very weak compared to the Sonicare, and may as well just use a regular toothbrush.

Secondly, and my biggest complaint, is the large raised rubber logo on the back of the brush head. Seriously??!! Hey Quip designers. this is the part that goes into the mouth!! I don’t know about others out there, but I brush with my mouth closed, and that rubber logo was very noticeable as I moved the brush back and forth, and irritated the skin inside my mouth.

It kept feeling like there was something broken on the brush head, then after checking closely, realized it was the raised rubber logo. Also, the base of the rubber logo is porous, which can harbor bacteria unless it’s perfectly cleaned after every use.

Poor design. No thanks. I’ll be returning this brush and looking for something else with a better design.
