20 Best Waterproof Ipod Shuffle (2022 Updated)

Since going somewhere isn’t really an option right now, I thought I’d try making some beignets from Cafe Du Monde! I will say I did need to watch a few YouTube videos because I have very little experience cooking anything like this, but I figured it out in the end! It helped a lot when someone finally said the dough is supposed to be a little wet/sticky.

I also decided to use the mix to flour the board instead of straight flour. These were some of my best work! Maybe not as perfect as Cafe Du Monde, but I did my best! and they were pretty delicious!.

I visited New Orleans before Katrina hit and had an amazing time. No trip is complete without a visit to the iconic Cafe Du Monde for these heavenly beignets and some caffeine! I brought back the Beignet mix and I made it , mine were good but not as delightful as at Cafe Du Monde! I would surely recommend a stop here and to bring come some of this mix so you can experience them after your trip, I am sure you can also buy this mix on line.

I was looking for a way to listen to music without wasting my phone’s space and battery. I had an mp3 player 10 years ago that broke ~3 years ago so I figured now was the time for a new one. This mp3 player does NOT connect to the internet which I like because I don’t want to be bombarded by ads every waking second or having my music preferences or location tracked for no good reason.

Note: I am not an audiophile so I’m not sure if the mp3 player has any issues with incredible mega high definition music quality or something, but much of my music is in. flac format and sounds good to me.

The player is made for exercising so it’s small but pretty sturdy. I also like that it has a clip on the back since some of my clothes don’t have pockets, though the clip does wobble slightly so we’ll see how that holds up over time.

The screen is equally small but bright, and you can adjust the brightness. I keep my music on permanent shuffle lol, so I hardly look at the screen. Buttons are easy to understand but you have to use some force when pushing them.

The volume is loud enough for me on the lowest or 2nd lowest level on normal volume settings (I work in a quiet place), but the mp3 player also has the option for “high” volume range in the settings in addition to its normal volume range? So I suppose if you want your ears to explode that’s available to you.

You must have headphones/earbuds/speaker/whatever connected as the player has no speakers of its own, which I like because I don’t blast my music everywhere out in public. Oh, and it’s water resistant when all the little ports are shut, very cool.

The battery on this lasts FOREVER also, like wow, literal days of music. But I’m keeping it on low volume and also using wired headphones, so your mileage may vary. Overall, very pleased.

Before I give my review, I would like to say I have programmed many websites, taught myself at least 5 computer programming languages all the way back to MS-DOS and GW-Basic. I have built computers from scratch and used all types of computer technology.

All this to say, I am not computer ignorant. This MP3 player is one of the worst pieces of technology I have ever bought or tried to use. Unfortunately, I do not not live near a Best Buy, so it takes a while to drive out of my way to get to one.

Returning this to Best Buy is not a “time-easy” process. Before I bought this, I had looked on Best Buy’s website for different bluetooth MP3 players, so I was shocked and disappointed to find out this model, which I thought was the same as the one I looked at on Best Buy’s website, did NOT have bluetooth.

It was the same price as the MP3 players of this kind that have bluetooth. When I pulled the Player out of the box, I was shocked and disappointed to see how tiny it was. With my big fingers, it’s very difficult to press tiny buttons, and the screen is too small to see without glasses.

I was expecting an MP3 player approximately the size of an IPod based on the photos on the website. There were no directions in the box on how to add music, add playlists, edit, rename or delete playlists.

The only directions in the box were describing the functions of the exterior buttons. I looked on a multitude of websites including Sandisk’s website and watched YouTube videos for doing these things for playlists, and none of them worked.

I tried copying and renaming the existing PL files on the player, and that didn’t work. I tried making M3U files and placing them in the Music folder on the player. The M3U files would show up under the Playlists option on the Player, but then when I would go to song to add it to a Playlist, and the Playlists I made would not show up; the only playlists that would show up were the 3 generic playlists that came with the Player.

I also tried placing an M3U file in the Music folder and placing the names of the songs in the Music folder like the directions showed on Sandisk’s website, and no songs show up when I clicked on the that Playlist in the Player.

I couldn’t find a way to rename the generic playlists that came with the Player. I tried using Windows Media Player to synchronize songs on the Player, and all this did was make Folders for all the Album names on the Player, then put the songs into the folders, but no playlists showed up on the player.

The only thing I was able to do was take one website’s advice to make folders under the Music folder, name each folder the same as a “Playlist”, put songs in them, then pull up the Folders option (not the Music) on the Player to play songs in a “playlist”.

All this was extremely irritating and frustrating to try and get this Player to work.

I’ve had it about two weeks. Needed a replacement for my first Bluetooth MP3 player that had too many irritations. I have two wired Sansa players that I bought years ago and that worked very well, so I wanted to try this one, they just didn’t have Bluetooth.

It paired easily and quickly with the Bose QC bud system, which is the only device I’ve tried it with. It has to be set to “international” to get immersive levels of volume through the Bose, and the highest volume is usually plenty and too high on many recordings.

The user interface inputs use buttons only, which I prefer because the touch screen MP3 device it replaced is virtually unusable in bright sun, plus there aren’t any inadvertent song change or volume change inputs with these physical buttons.

This SanDisk display is bright enough to be usable in the sun – similar to the other Sansas I have. The sound quality is very good – I use FLAC files and high-sample-rate MP3 files. I wished it had the ability to plug in the mini SD cards I already have, and that the connector was USB C instead of mini USB, but these are things I can work around – if it had those I’d probably rate it a 5.

Would recommend the 32GB size storage. Glad I found this device and would buy it again.

I have been reading positive and negative reviews about these Finis before buying until I decided to give them a try. I am a swimmer and I have used other conventional mp3 players at the pool, with poor results, especially when it comes to flip turns (I like my current wireless Sony nwz-ws615 series, but the sound is dull when using the water pads, and most annoyingly, water gets into my ears when flip turning.

Therefore, I ended up using them when I am “out” of the water, because they are very confortable and the Bluetooth feature is useful. so, it is pointless when it comes to swimming). I must say these Finis Duo are the very best so far.

Really comfortable to use, excellent clip to the goggles, no problems with flip turns AT ALL, the sound quality under water is AMAZING taking into consideration that my ears are absolutely free and I can still listen to the environment and/or people talking to me with these on, and I am not using earplugs, only the swim cap is more than enough to me.

Regarding the magnet charger, I experienced no issues with the charging process, the magnet on my unit is very powerful (note that I have the new model, I think, which is number 011116, probably some improvements were made).

To sum up: I am REALLY satisfied. I have never expected such a positive combination of comfort, sound quality (of course, listening to HI FI mp3 tracks) and long-lasting battery (only charged it once and have used it for 3 whole sessions of 2-3 hours each so far, and no “low battery” indicator).

I will keep on using it and let you know how it performs – My best underwater set, to date!.

I compare this product to another one I use in the pool. The other product comes with the “classic” earbuds and the usual troubles one can encounter using it: no matter how fit they are to your ears, eventually the water will protrude under the plugs and you’ll need to stop to re-fit them.

Finis duo eliminates the problem by using a so-called “bone conduction audio method”. The speakers are held pressed on the temple bones by the goggles’ strap. On the left speaker are the controls, very easy to reach and to use, once you get accustomed to them.

The sound is clear and loud enough, even louder when both the player and the ears are immersed. Risking to repeat myself I have to emphasize that the sound quality (or intensity) doesn’t suffer if some water enters into your ears.

The memory is large enough to store hours and hours of audio content in mp3 and wma formats. Those were the “plus-es” of the Finis Duo; as for the “minus” parts, I’d mention two: 1. You can’t make a playlist; it would be useful to organize your music according to the training routine: let’s say you’d want to listen to some slower tunes during warm-up and cool-down and a more alerte/motivating ones during peak effort.

You’ll have to make do with whatever songs you loaded, played in a row or randomly. 2. The battery is advertised to last up to 7 hours; however, I never got mine to last past 3 and a half. I can tell that because I swim precisely 90 minutes daily and – if I forget to recharge the Finis Duo for two consecutive days – the third swimming session will be veeeery noiseless :).

Overall: a very good to excellent product.

A fellow swimmer recommended the Finis, so my expectations were high. It was fairly straightforward loading it with music – but the “1,000 songs” claim overstates what it actually holds: my 645 pop songs took 3.

4 gb (85% of the space). It attaches well to the swim goggles and stays in place during flip-turns. I don’t use earplugs, so the normal splash sounds from swimming are more noticeable when you’re trying to listen to music on Finis Duo.

The product seems solidly built and well designed, but the quality of sound is so-so: like those old transistor radios from the 1960s. The sound changed depending on head position; underwater had better sound than above the water.

Vocal parts usually came through reasonably well, but the background music/band/orchestration turns into one big mess. I have not tried a podcast.

This iPod Shuffle works great for swimming laps. Others that I ordered elsewhere worked for about 15 seconds and had to be returned, but this has been going for miles. I’ve been using these waterproof iPods for years, and filling them for friends who swim, and am very happy to find more that actually work! I’ll probably order a few more to give away.

For new users, read the instructions. Dry out it before recharging. All iPod shuffles need frequent recharging but these last longer than you can probably swim. (I do a mile in an hour with no problems.

It was good for its time if you are into apps but after a certain point, it won’t let you update apps or download certain ones because it isn’t a new enough model. Photo quality is not that great. Very thankful for it though because mine still has some very fun apps that you can’t download anymore still on it, and it is great if you love taking music on the go.

If I want to listen to music but am unsure what exactly I want to listen to, I put my ipod on shuffle and am usually satisfied. I like being able to make playlists on it and replay or shuffle. I still have old voice recordings from me and my band rehearsing on there, too! I’ve never had any issues with this one cracking thanks to the case, but without a case, I’ve definitely dropped and cracked a screen before on these.

Also, my first one did not survive getting a bit wet, even after soaking it in rice. I would say with everything progressing, it is mostly good for wanting to take music on the go or hook music up to a speaker.

For my wedding, instead of a deejay, I got song requests and popular dance songs and our songs and more and put them on my ipod and hooked it up to a giant speaker I owned. It worked great! And we made separate playlists for the song the bridesmaids walked down to, the song I walked down to, the first dance song, and the daddy daughter song, as well as a playlist for more chill music while people were eating and kept the more upbeat dance music on a separate playlist when we were done eating.

It was super easy to transition smoothly between everything since the playlists were labeled very detailed. I wouldn’t rebuy a 4th generation since I would paying to not maximize all the features, but I would buy another apple product:).

I received my item in a timely manner. It was exactly as advertised. I like the pink color! I was happy to receive the information from UWater regarding the maintenance and proper care of it. Since it was refurbished I appreciate this advice.

The FAQ and trouble shooting information was valuable. The only complaint was the quality of sound was not up to par with my old item. It could be the earphones so I bought a different pair and will re-evaluate.

Other than that Im a satisfied customer.

My old one performed flawlessly for 10 years, using several times weekly at the gym including the sauna. Thought it was toast after I dropped it from a storage bag, but a new charger dongle restored it to full operation.

Now I have two. Battery life is a couple months when using several hours a week, voice warning tells you well ahead. Replacement 4th gen unit was identical and appeared brand new, though sold as used.

Headphones make the difference in sound quality, try them out before buying. I get better sound from an old cell phone phone set than some newer models. Love the lightweight feature, just clip it on my shirt collar and insert the phones in ears.

No bulky phone to manage or expensive air buds to charge. Have 215 songs on mine from many favorite albums, haven’t found a storage limit. Word to the wise on this tiny unit: keep headphones plugged in so you don’t lose it, also helps prevent dropping.

A small snack bag helps keep the cord untangled.

I still use my iPod Shuffle. It’s perfect for when I go to the gym or on a run. I can easily clip it to my workout pants and it doesn’t feel heavy or get in the way. The battery lasts awhile before you have to recharge.

This little iPod can hold so many songs!! Just wish you were able to see what you are playing. Great product!.

I bought the iPod shuffle as a replacement for my old one which stopped working due to problems with the earphone jack. I did not realize that Apple Music wont load music on an iPod and I had no easy way to load it.

Fortunately my son had a laptop that still had iTunes and that worked. So be sure that you have a way to use iTunes if you are getting an iPod. The sound quality is much better than my old one.

Every time I plug in this iPod to create playlists, etc. , my computer completely freezes. I mean COMPLETELY freezes – the mouse won’t even work, I cannot close out of anything. Other than iTunes, I haven’t had ANY issues with my computer – so it’s pretty clear that it is related directly to iTunes.

I have to unplug and re-plug the iPod numerous times. Sometimes the device icon shows up – sometimes it doesn’t. The device was named after it’s previous owner – so I renamed it – and it seemed to take – until I plugged it in again – and then it still reflected her name.

Seriously? I created a new playlist on iTunes to add, but even though I drug it to the device to add it (and it appeared that it did) each time I put the iPod on my docking station – the playlist wasn’t there.

I finally had to have my teenage daughter (who has an iPhone and seems to like Apple products) help me – but the only way she could make it work – was to delete all of the previous owners playlists – which I really wanted to keep – and then add mine.

This doesn’t seem like it should be THIS complex. What should have taken just a couple of minutes – literally took hours. What a colossal waste of time. All of the iTunes griping aside (and I am assuming many reading this assume it is user error) the iPod itselfwill not hold a charge for very long.

Every iPod that I have owned seems to have annoying glitches (won’t power down, menu button stops working, powers up but screen stays completely blank, batteries won’t hold a charge, etc. ). I can’t wait for new, better technology.

Until then, it is what it is.

When this baby first came out, I didn’t like the volume control on the headphone’s wire either, because that made it less ‘universal,’ and I have 7 different high-end headphones laying around my house I would like the ease of plugging in and using at my convenience.

After getting some used to, I realized that this IPod had everything else going for it besides that (the highest quality sound/ loudness out of any other generation Shuffle, or small mp3 device). Yes, it has better sound quality/ loudness than the generation Shuffle’s before it, and better sound quality/ loudness than the generation after (where they go back to the people’s choice of volume controls on the player).

It is also the smallest/ lightest ever designed by apple. If you can get past the volume control limitation of not being to plug in any headphones, and just keep the ones they give you close to the unit and don’t lose them, then you may find that it was ahead of it’s time in regards to all else.

We used to need universal headphones because the stock ones they gave with music players could not get loud enough or had poor sound quality. This stock headphones w/ the volume control gets as loud as the ear can take, and the sound quality is outstanding for that group of small mp3 players.

I am a sound enthusiast, and there isn’t a need for louder aftermarket headphones than what the unit pushes through it’s stock volume-controlled phones. I used the other Ipod Shuffles that are square, and have volume control (which work for the majority of people), and they are in fact slightly heavier, and bulkier (for runners) due to having volume buttons.

You just can’t have everything in life (LOL). But, for older folks, you definately want to go with the square Ipod Shuffle, because of the ease of volume on the music player (normal standard). This generation should have caught on (the design and quality of the ipod.

I tried the one they made after it, and the sound quality is not as good as this older generation. (I’ve never had any water/ sweat issues stopping the device) (Oh, and one other bad thing about this generation, that is significant, which I just remembered, is that you cannot plug it into a car stereo and skip forward or backward to another track! This is a great limitation for using it in your vehicle.

That means that you have to listen to every song in the row of playlist and not skip to a particular song!! You are basically locked into having to listen to every song in the order that it is in your Itunes.

The good The Apple iPod Shuffle is affordably priced with a compact design and long-lasting battery. It’s both stylish and easily wearable, thanks to its sturdy built-in clip. The bad Requires a USB sync from a PC or Mac running iTunes.

There’s no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Only 2GB of storage. Navigating your music is a bit difficult without a screen. You can’t download subscription Apple Music songs. The bottom line Apple’s most affordable iPod is a cheap, workout-friendly option for listening to music or podcasts, but it shows its age with a reliance on iTunes syncing and lack of wireless support.

I have found that my silver **iPod 3rd Generation 2 GB Shuffle** is a handy little device for listening to music when I don’t want to be bothered by my full sized iPod. This little Shuffle is small! It is about the same length as a house key and only maybe as thick as two keys put together.

It weighs almost nothing and can either be slipped in a pocket unnoticed or clipped onto clothing. My model has 2 gigabytes of storage, which provides about 24 hours worth of music (about 400 songs in my case).

The songs are placed on the Shuffle through its synchronization with iTunes. Since it is so small, there really are not that many controls on the Shuffle. You have an on/off switch which lets you either play the music song by song on the Shuffle or randomly and there’s a headphone jack on the Shuffle.

That’s where the iPod headphones are plugged in. The ear buds that that come with the Shuffle have a built-in control that lets you forward, repeat and adjust the volume on the music. You can also have the Shuffle give you a voice over to tell you the song and the artist if you want it to.

I use my iPod Shuffle almost exclusively for the gym. It is so small and light that I can clip it on to my shirt and not even notice it. The navigation button on the ear bud wires is easy to use, though I find myself searching for it if I want to adjust the volume or change the song while I’m working out.

I find the volume to be fine for working out at the gym. I can use the Shuffle for several days before having to charge it through it’s USB connection. I’ve been using iTunes and iPods for a while so I did not find the synchronization process between the Shuffle and iTunes on my computer all that difficult.

Overall I really like the Shuffle, especially for the gym. I have a specific play list of songs I want to hear when I work out and since the Shuffle is so small and lightweight, I barely even notice I am carrying it when I use it.

Plus I can clip it right on my shirt and keep it out of the way when I’m working out. **My Take** The iPod 2GB Shuffle is small, easy to use, sounds good and has a great battery life. All of this makes it the perfect MP3 player for the gym in my mind.

The iPod I got looked new encased in a new plastic box and plays music wonderfully, even for a going-deaf senior like myself. Fortunately, had an iPad wall charger with two USB ports, so that I can use one for the iPad and the other for the iPod, which makes charging much easier – for me – and faster than charging while on the PC.

(Maybe charging on a Mac is faster and easier?) Now, less than two months after delivery, my iPod is now nearly fully populated with music from my Music Library, made much, much easier with the available Sync feature following the reasonably clear instruction “Start Here” booklet that came with the Shuffle.

Had downloaded some music files when I first got the iPod, and finally got around to importing more music files into my Library to sync onto the iPod; again a process quite easily completed. As I noted, it plays the music files wonderfully, though I have so far only tried the shuffle feature, not the ‘play in order’ feature.

The one thing I do not particularly like is the headphones/set that came with the iPod. The earpieces are hard plastic, relatively large – 5/8″ diameter – and do not quite fit comfortably in my ears, particularly my right ear.

They do not play the music to my liking. As with other such earpieces, the clarity – ‘purity’ – is much better when I press the earpieces into my ear canals with fingers or thumb – which can’t normally be done all the time.

Hope to find a decent stereo set with malleable, soft earpieces. Even with a cheap pair of such Sentry earpieces from one of the phone I used to use, the volume I hear is much louder, but with a loss of clarity or ‘purity’ – clear base and treble – of sound; hence my desire to pickup a decent set that plays the music files as wonderfully as the set that came with the iPod.

Now, will this quality last? Purchased the refurbished unit with the 2-year extended warranty just in case. Hopefully, this iPod will last well – barring accidental loss – into the future. Thus far, I have only listened to the Shuffle or used it around the house.

not jogging, cycling or exercising, though I still see them on others doing just these activities occasionally so it should perform well. Hope you can enjoy yours as much. At under $40 even with the 2-year replacement warranty and NC tax, it is certainly a premium buy for less than a new one.

I like the fact that it was in the original container and had all of the original assessor hes from the manufacture. It included the manuals charger earphones in the iPad itself. When I receive that I charged it overnight and it held charge for about an hour, I loaded it with music and it appeared to be fine.

The following day it would not turn on, would not except a charge, and showed no signs of life. I love the iPod Shuffle, I just wish this one had worked. I have re-ordered a replacement battery for it and hopefully that will bring it to life.

This unit was advertised as only used once and I understand batteries die from just sitting around and I assume that thats what happened. If it is as advertised-all of the electrical components should be new.

The shovels are so small and light I really love them and I hope I can get this one back to life !.

Works great and the headphones are so clear. It works best if you attach the I-pod to your goggles and wrap the ear-phone wire around the back of your ear and under your swim cap. I also sprung for the expensive $70.

00 ear-buds, they were awful and I returned them! Although many people recommended the more expensive earphones and say that the earphones sold with this product are horrible I found just the opposite to be true.

The additional, more expensive earbuds that I bought did not connect all the way and did not seem to work with this product as I only heard music out of one ear-bud and the sound sometimes eliminated voices all-together making a strange sound quality that was mostly back-up music.

I suggest buy this product as is, it’s a great price for I-pod and ear-phones. I found this product to be a great add to my swim. The add of music gives me that extra motivation and I can jam-out to a power work-out mix.

I only downloaded 3 hours of music, but there is a ton of space remaining, I LOVE LOVE this product!!!!.

Tested and working was a lie. Needs refurbished with a NEW BATTERY would have been more like it. I have been trying to get it to charge for a month to no avail. Longest it plays is maybe 3 minutes. I was replacing one with a short battery life maybe 5 minutes.

The one I was replacing is better than this one. I give it Zero stars. Survey requires at least 1.

I knew the product was an open box item used in the store. It only included the device and the charging cord but that was all I needed. The battery was supposed to be good. It was a good price. However after downloading my music and charging the device it only lasted for about an hour.

The device does not show a green or orange light to indicate the battery life and does not indicate if the battery is low. Now I tried charging for 24 hours and it doesn’t come on at all. Very disappointed.

Functionally, the second-generation (2G) iPod shuffle differs little from the original. Like the first, stick-of-gum shuffle, the 2G model bears a central Play/Pause button and four controls arrayed around a rocking click wheelPrevious, Next, Volume Up, and Volume Down.

Instead of a three-way switch on the back to switch the device on and select Shuffle or Repeat play modes, this version has two small switches on the bottomone for powering the iPod on and off and the other that selects Shuffle or Repeat.

The headphone jack is found on the top of the iPod. Whereas the original shuffle sported a male USB connector, the 2G shuffle requires the included dock for syncing and powering the player. The dock is small, bearing a single miniplug jack that sticks up from a plastic base.

While its no more trouble to carry the dock than the special cable required to sync and power larger iPods, I miss the all-in-one convenience of having the USB connector on the iPod. After touting the superiority of the earbuds bundled with the latest iPod nanos and full-sized iPods, Apple chose to include the original Apple earbuds with the 2G shuffle.

Given that Ive replaced my headphones with better-sounding alternatives, this doesnt bother me, but some may be disappointed that theyre not getting Apples latest and supposedly greatest buds. Miniscule LEDs that glow green, orange, or red appear on both the top and bottom of the 2G shuffleso miniscule, in fact, that theyre hard to read, particularly in bright environments.

As with the original shuffle, these lights have to convey a variety of messagescharging status while docked, whether the iPods hold switch is on or not, and blinks that tell you that the shuffles firmware is corrupted.

Fortunately, Apple provides a small card that indicates what most LED blinks mean. Im sorry, however, that the latest shuffle doesnt include a separate battery indicator light as did the original. With this one you can tell only how much battery charge remains by very quickly turning the iPod off and ona feat thats not easy to accomplish with such a tiny switch without interrupting playback.

Had an old Sansa clip 4GB which unfortunately got left at my desk at work when COVID hit. Thought I’d be back in to retrieve it but didn’t happen. Found a cheap thing on eBay and thought it would suffice but not enough options.

Tried to find another Sansa clip but seems not available now and this model kept popping up. Not positive but think it replaced it. I like the 32GB size, plenty of room for my music. It also has the shuffle option which I prefer and the cheap other one didn’t have.

Battery life has been great and it’s easy to just copy and paste the mp3 files from my PC to it. I’ve always preferred using this type of thing for listening while out walking compared to using my phone.

It just works for me.

My wife and I love these MP3 players. We’ve each owned 2 over the years, with varied memory capacities. This unit, with 32gb, will never be completely full, but it won’t be for lack of trying. I really like the Bluetooth capability in this generation of player.

The only thing that could be improved would be to add an internal antenna for the radio function. It currently uses the wire from the ear plugs as the antenna, so listening to radio with Bluetooth ear bugs isn’t an option.

Long lived and durable. Love this player! Highly recommended.

For it’s price and comparing to other players I was not happy at all with this player. The plastic is extremely cheap and the buttons look like they will break easily and not last long. The plastic clip probably won’t last long either.

The sound was nothing special and for some unintelligent reason, they put a timer and stopwatch in this player but NO clock! It will not remember where you left off in listening to a song or a book or whatever you were listening to.

All the myriad of Chinese players that are out there look like they would blow this player away in all categories. This player just falls short of expectations for this price.

Quality classic ipod cases are extremely hard to come by nowadays. This product was clearly stored somewhere collecting dust, but I cleaned it off and it works superbly. It’s a small pelican case made specifically for ipods, with an internal jack that connects directly and an external jack so I don’t have to open the case constantly.

If you want a case that will protect your classic, try to find one of these puppies.

The previous reviewer apparently didn’t read the specs for it, nor did he look at the picture of it. It is not designed for the iPhone 4, but rather the iPod Shuffle which is considerably smaller in size.

Pelican boxes are very rugged and come with a lifetime replacement warranty. I have dozens of them in a variety of sizes and have had many dropped, slid, thrown, fallen into the water, etc and never had a box fail.

Went into store for something else. came upon this item. ended up buying 2. I have 2 “old school” ipods, and am glad I finally found something to protect them in their old age. The case has a built-in plug for output, so you can listen with the case secure and closed.

Last iPod case I bought cost more and did not protect the unit. God Bless Pelican for their high construction standards. Buy one – heck – buy two, like I did!.

I like it, BUT it’s not made to properly fit the Nano. The Nano sits in the slot, but is not secure. The box specifically says iPod shuffle. I didn’t know that until I received it. It’s cute, but fits the shuffle better!!.

These are the perfect to protect my headphones. It is heavy duty and looks nice. I can clip it on the outside of my backpack and it works great.

There is a little rubber holder in the middle for the ipod, you can remove it but it leaves a hole in the case. If you don’t mind that it’s wonderfully sturdy.
