20 Best Waterproof Motorcycle Gloves (2022 Updated)

They fit well, I have small hands. They work well in horrendous downpour! They are a little thicker than I wanted. The issue with the waterproof gloves is that they are made for colder weather, so they are thicker and have a nice soft liner which is great when your hands are cold but if you take them off to say fill your tank with gas and your hands get wet, then it is near impossible to get the gloves on.

These gloves will be great for my fall/winter riding as long as I don’t get my hands wet before putting them on!.

I have been sledding for many years with motocross gloves because there has not been a glove that is waterproof that is like that style. I have tried many gloves over the years and this is the first glove that has fot this need for me.

I am super happy with this purchase no more changing gloves when some one gets stuck. I used to ride with 5 pairs of gloves. One for trail 3 for mountain riding and one spare set. Now I ride with these my trail set and one spare.

I put my trail gloves on change to these for the day then change back to my trail ones at the end of the day. They are not super warm for people who like that but since I use motocross gloves and thats what I like this was not an issue for me personally.

These are excellent gortex waterproof gloves. Exactly what we needed for those long tours. We use them only in the rain. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Construction is top notch. The fit is a little odd though.

For both my wife and I, the fingers are just a bit long (that’s ok) and the fit a bit tight. You might want to go 1 size larger than measured.

Picked up these gloves just prior to a month long trip from Alberta to Kingston and back. There have been two rides in some pretty decent rain. Both times, the gloves did their thing and my hands were dry.

I have also used them a couple of times on slightly cooler days and they work well keeping the wind off the fingers. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

KLIM are the Best By far. Trust me, I was always try to save a little. Ive spent More $$ on trying to save a buck,because the stuff you buy trying to save, You end up Buying the KLIM, the other stuff you bought is Junk,wet,cold,I own all KLIM equ, the $$ spent ever.

My previous FortNine gloves had worn out and I was searching for a pair of replacements. Nothing locally was the right size or quality, so I reverted to FortNine again and purchased these Alpinestars – the 3XL size.

They were a tight fit but that has worked well using the motorcycle controls. There is extra room at the end of the fingers but I expect that to disappear with continued use. The construction with textiles and leather reinforced patches is done well.

I expect to get several years of use out this pair of gloves.

I git these and the first impression is rolling a cushion on the handlebar. They feel too thick to the point I have not much feeling to full control of throttle and reaching the brakes. Very good quality and very warm.

Good materials. Maybe breaking them in and using them they will soften and loose a bit.

Owned for almost 2 years, ride every work day, rain or shine, about 400mi per week. Per the description, this is a sport glove with touring features in it. To rephrase, this is mostly a sport glove. -Waterproofing is good.

Haven’t had any issues. -Touch screen index, no longer works. I think I’ve had these for almost 2 years -These work well for California winters but not in the summer. your hands will get hot. -Fitment is good, not too bulky.

If you’re the type to have the have the jacket sleeve tucked into the gauntlet, beware with bulky watches like a G-Shock. Will have a hard time fitting. Works well if you have the glove inside the sleeve.

If you’re into touring, do not get this glove. I miss the following from my old A-Star Touring glove (cant remember what it was): -Wiper -Larger Cuffs -Summer breathability.

As the end of summer is approaching, I needed a pair of warmer, waterproof gloves. The day they arrived, I was happy to find that they fit, even if they were a little tight. I tried them out and was happy enough with the feel, and was confident that with some wear they would become comfortable.

On the way home it started to rain heavily. After 15 minutes the gloves were completely soaked. Even now, 24 hours later, the gloves are still wet. My plain-old leather Joe Rocket gloves would be a better choice in a downpour than these are.

Very disappointed. I really thought that for $200 you’d get something that could handle a bit of rain anyway.

I live in Northern California and ride my bike year round. I bought these to use in the winter for rainy days and more so for cold nights. I have used them in temperatures down to the mid 30’s and they have kept my hand comfortable enough.

Not toasty warm, but not cold. They are comfortable, although the ring finger-pinky bridge is annoying. The gloves are also a bit thick compared to summer gloves but not bad. Much thinner than other winter gloves I tried on.

I haven’t road tested them to find out how well they will protect but they seem well built and study enough for a long slide across the ground. Hopefully I won’t have to find out but they are CE rated so I have faith in them.

Not even remotely weatherproof, for any season. DO NOT BUY. The fit: – Finger length is great, like other alpinestar models – Finger width is too narrow: with their bulky layers, the gloves quickly cut off circulation painfully when your fingers are curved or gripped around anything – The cuff is TERRIBLE.

It’s not that I bought a size too small: my summer gloves fit fine and they’re the same size, and if I went a size up in these, the palm and fingers would be too big all over Features: LIES.

Don’t fall for it. – They’re not waterproof. For a quick 10 minute ride in the city in *dry* 5C, my hands were just as cold. Combined with the bulky materials cutting off circulation in the fingers at creases, even just to wear them around outside off the bike wouldn’t be great.

these Drystars gloves do the trick. Water and wind proof. Because of them gloves I’m able to continue riding in PDX with 33 degrees weather.

Purchased as a replacement to my last set. They lasted for a long time, but started to pull apart on the interior. Got some good wear out of them and hope to get the same with this pair.

I bought these gloves because the previous pair I had were Alpinestars and very good. These gloves had one finger stitched in crookedly and I get blisters on my right palm (throttle hand). Disappointing product from Alpinestars.

the gloves are very comfortable and seem to be to size. The gloves are well made and should hold up well.

I’ve been trying lots of gloves over the last few years and these are the best I’ve found so far. The temperature lately has been in the single digits, farenheit, and I’ve been very comfortable going to work and back but that is only 15 minutes away.

I did go for a ride about 3 hours away yesterday and it was 34 degrees out and after about 30 miles of highway speeds my fingers started to freeze. Had to stop and warm them up again and then was good for about another half hour or so.

I bought my daughter these same gloves and she loves them as well but I also bought her those heater elements that wrap around your grips and she says between both of those she can ride comfortably all day long in these temperatures.

I haven’t tried the heated wraps yet. Oh! They also do a great job of coming up past the wrist far enough that I get no back drafting at all and wrist and palms stay nice and warm.

I purchased these a few days ago. The shipping was fast and I ordered the size XL by the chart. I measured my hand by the chart listed. They fit exact to size, not too small or not too big. Took them on a ride cause it was calling for rain.

They worked OK thus the 4-star rating and not a 5, could have been a little better. The inside of the gloves is like most gloves with a fuzzy cloth. It started raining on me as I was driving back home.

By the time I stopped and put on my rain gear. My hands were wet and when I went to put on the gloves. I couldn’t get them on right. The inside fuzzy liner stuck to my hands and I couldn’t get my fingers in the correct finger holes.

Got one hand on OK, but the left hand I only got 3 fingers pushed into the finger holes. I Worked for a few minutes in the rain trying to get the other hand on but it just didn’t want to go on. So I had to just go with it.

Rode about 30 minutes in the rain before getting home. Hands stayed warm and dry once I got the gloves on. Would recommend putting on first before your hands get wet.

I grew up in Florida and have longish skinny fingers; I am a cold weather wuss and my hands are one of the first body parts to say “I’m done here, let’s get back inside. “I hope that helps you put my review in perspective.

I’ve worn these gloves when it was about 50 degrees and my hands were warm enough to not think even about them. The liner is soft and comfy, does not bunch up anywhere and the gloves go on/come off easily.

The adjuster strap works well and is easy to use with gloves on. The fabric has nice grip on my bikes grips and for such warm gloves they are not bulky. The cuff is large enough to fit over my jacket easily and is not a pain in the rear to get “settled into” when getting dressed for riding.

Size chart is spot on. Heck of a value for great riding gear.

These gloves appear to be really good quality. They are a bit tight for me at the moment in an XL but I think they will stretch a little bit and be quite comfortable. Definitely warm enough.

Please note that the break-in period for these gloves is long. The insulation layer takes a while to soften up. When you sweat up the insides and make it all sticky, good luck cleaning them. It is waterproof but the outer layer(s) still absorb quite a bit of water.

These gloves are only good for moderate rain in moderate temperatures. Let me explain why you don’t want to use them in any other circumstance: -In normal riding temps without rain, they are too hot and are more likely to cause you to sweat than winter riding gloves (absolutely no breathability).

-With heavier rain, the water gets down into the gloves from the wrist because the cuffs are too short. Your hands might even get real cold real fast. -In 13 degrees Celcius or less, they are not warm enough.

I was just out in 7 C for 30 mins and my hands went numb.

The main reason I purchased these gloves was for their “waterproof” lining. Rode with them for a few days in a light drizzle( but just enough rain to. bother you). Despite hands being frozen, they were still dry.

Today it flurried a bit but didn’t stick and ended up turning into rain. Rode to the store during my lunch break(about a 10 min ride at 40kmh max) and I could start to feel the water seep through. About 4 hours later I threw on my still damp gloves and rode home.

After the 30 commute, my hands were soaked. Had I known that the “drystar” technology only protects you from a few drops of rain, I would’ve bought a different glove. Aside from the lack of water protection, it’s not a bad glove.

The fit is fine except for the area around the pinky. It is a bit stiff, but might get better once they are broken in more. The inner lining gives it a bit more cushion between the knuckles and guards.

Haven’t tried to use with my iPhone, but I don’t consider that a selling point when I purchase any glove. Bottom line, DO NOT buy these if you are looking to keep your hands dry.

Very comfortable, you have a good feeling of grips, for my use is enough worm, I don’t have tested in rain but I am sure will be ok. The look very well made and the price is that you pay for. Quality!!!.

Was in a light accident and the gloves did tear at the palm (under 20MPH slide on asphalt), but did their job for a budget glove. Good padding throughout and even has touch pads for operating a phone.

Gloves are good in colder months, but not ideal for summer due to being very thick.

Indie Ridge has knocked it out of the ballpark again! I’ve purchased their gauntlet and camel/denim gloves in the past, and have been really pleased with them (see my other reviews), but with this 95deg + heat outside, I needed a glove to replace the woven mesh ones I had from another manufacturer.

Enter, Indie Ridge Powersport Gloves! These gloves have so many features that make them perfect for me for my summer gloves… 1. Vented, breathable fabric…I can actually feel air passing over my fingers when riding! 2.

Vented fingers…. yes, I said FINGERS! At the base of each finger, on the top of the hand, is a tiny ported vent. the air enters through the fabric on the finger and out of the vent. After a 2 hr ride in the heat today, my hands did not sweat at all!! 3.

Carbon Fiber knuckles…while I hope to never have a spill on my cruiser, I can rest assured my knuckles will not take a beating 4. Rubberized palms…. grip grip grippy is all I can say about that! I felt very much in control of the bike grips.

5. Secured wrist straps…. the wrap around Velcro can be adjusted for tight, or loose, depending on preference…easy to take on and off 6. Touchscreen fingertips…on 2 of the fingers on both hands…work great for me, but some have said they’ve had issues.

(I mean really, you’re on the motorcycle riding to clear your head, the last thing I want to do is mess with my smartphone…just saying!!) As I said before, I’ve got 2 other pair of Indie Ridge gloves that fit just right after using their chart guide, but on these powersports ones, I might suggest ordering the next size larger on these.

Regardless, if they don’t fit, if you’ve ordered under Prime they have free returns (as of now), or if you don’t want to go that route, give Steve the CEO a call (his number is included on a card in every package) and inquire about their Live Free Guarantee…you can’t go wrong!.

They’re amazing. They fit perfectly according to the size chart. They’re ultra tactile. They have nice knuckle dusters (that I love for beating on the windows of cars that come into my lane). And they’re wind permeable – perfect summer ventilation, especially for bikes without fairings.

They’re better than my last pair, which cost me $150. I will NEVER buy other moto gloves from anywhere else ever again. A+++.

I was skeptical at first because of the price. But these are by far the best gloves I’ve ever owned. They fit great. The touchscreen fingertips works better then any pair I have ever owned. I ride my bike as my daily so they get used a lot.

They still look like new. Even with the Hawaiian sun beating down on them. Can’t really say how they would do in a cold weather climate. But I can definitely say I will be buying another pair if these ever wear out.

Bought a pair of FXR gloves for my Grandson for Xmas. They ended up being to small. Did the free return and ordered a different size. They came quickly without any hassle. Grandson loves them.

Very comfortable; a bit long in the fingers. Good for mild rains and cold wether; but no downpour proof. It rained heavily on me for 3 and a half hours on an interstate, and my hands were soaking.

Had to send these back as the fingers are unusually long! Might fit Kareem Abdul Jabars fingers but not mine…. Crazy length fingers!!!!

The gloves work well for cooler weather riding. But the fit is very weird, even using the revit size chart. The palm fits good, the cuff is extremely tight to get your hands through and the fingers are way too long.

They?re stiff also, they seem to not want to break in either. This makes them have the oven mitt feel I was trying to avoid by buying a non insulated waterproof glove, the dexterity is not very good.

A 2 endroits en fait : – lorsque j’enlève les gants, la doublure à tendance à venir avec la main et après impossible de la remettre. Retour en SAV sur ce point, gants réparés mais je sens qu’il faut que je fasse très attention en les enlevant.

Il faut “pincer” le bout des doigts pour bien retenir la doublure. C’est un problème courant sur les gants hiver de toutes marques mais là, c’est particulièrement fragile. – la couture de la patte de serrage par velcro au niveau du poignet s’est un peu défaite (1 point ou 2 de couture) en enlevant le velcro.

Mais a 10 ce matin sur autoroute, aucun ressenti de froid. Pour la pluie on verra ca assez tôt je pense.

I don’t know what went wrong here, but these gloves are not great. Sure, they keep your hands dry in a way that makes me feel like I’d be just as good putting plastic bags over my hands. The fit is baffling – I got a size small and there is 1-2″ of extra fabric at the end of my fingertips; this is particularly obnoxious on the thumb for hitting the turn signals.

They also feel like they are made kind of cheaply, but perhaps that’s just the nature of waterproof overgloves? I have no idea – I regret spending money to get them and I can’t return them. In a pinch, I had some winter mittens that fit over my riding gloves that worked better than these things, so if anyone wants to buy them off me, let me know somehow.

Not sure what gloves these are meant to fit over, but they are too small in the palm and too long on the fingers. I wear XL race gloves and bought the XL covers based on the reviews saying they run large, I should have got 2XL, but will just suffer with these since it was not a big investment and they do seem to fit, albeit very tightly and poorly.

They seem to have been designed to cover standard non-motorcycle gloves as there is insufficient volume for knuckle protectors. Also, the designer made the cuff closures way too short and you can’t get them over the gauntlets.

It’s hard to believe that this design was ever released, it’s almost like they just guessed and never even verified the fitment. Okay, so once you manage to force them on, they do seem fine on the controls and do knock down the cold just a bit, haven’t tested them in the rain, but I expect water will leak under the exposed gauntlet.

Anyway, I love Dainese gear, but this is the one time I really feel like they failed, part of the design process should be actually testing the product and anticipating that owners of XL race glove should expect an XL cover to fit properly, if it doesn’t then you have failed at your job, I can only hope the designer of this product reads this review and learns about how the design process is supposed to work.

I rode for 9-10 hours in the pouring rain with these gloves over my regular motorcycle gloves. When I arrived at my destination, my gloves underneath were completely dry. I couldn?t believe it! I was riding with 4 other people that day & all of them were wet under their raingear.

I highly recommend these overgloves.

Another review said it best already. I normally wear an XL (euro fit) but got the L in this American fit. Does not stretch too much. Fit is a titch tight but generally ok (long fingers) I get cold easy so these do not carry me through the autumn in the gta, 5-12°C.

This feels like a winter glove for Van or the UK vs anyplace that sees below 0 regularly. The connectivity finger is barely there but better than the Prime. Rain protection is decent. I get caught in rain a lot as a commuter.

Rev’it seems to make quality gear, its held up after my first season where my alpinestars lasted one. The leather palm is nice and feels good inside as well. My rides to work are 15 minutes so I can’t comment much on long rides.

If I’m going out for 45 min then sure I’d wear these at like 10-15. If I had to ride 30 min at 5° I’d take my heated gloves probably. Pull loops may have been a good idea. Overall a good glove that if I recal is CE rated.

Bought these gloves in size large (I am a large in Alpinestars). The glove fit once they are on, but there is absolutely no way to get my hand into the glove since the wrist part does not stretch. I struggle to put the first glove on, but with the bulkiness of the glove trying to put on the second glove is impossible.

These would be great gloves if the wrist entry was wider and I could actually put these on.

Comfortable from the start, the goat leather only takes a couple rides to break in. There are warmer gloves on the market for colder climates, and more bulky,, but operating the controls with these is no issue.

I have worn these on long rides at 50° and these are good for me. I would call them a mid weight winter glove.
