20 Best Waterproof Pet Blanket (2022 Updated)

I’ll be honest: I didn’t buy this for my dog (I don’t even have a dog). I bought it for me. Ya see, when things get a little hot and heavy in the bedroom, I would usually use towels to prevent my sheets from getting wet, but they move around too much and/or are not absorbent enough.

A waterproof blanket of this size from an adult store is easily $100 (for who knows what reason). I decided to cheat the system and get this bad boy instead, and HOLY COW, NO RAGRETS (not even a letter).

Right out of the package, the blanket was extremely plush and soft and I used it as a regular blanket for a good, long while. However, when it’s true time came, it did not disappoint. My sheets have never been drier, and after many, many uses and several wash cycles, it is still as soft and absorbent as ever.

I love this blanket and plan to buy more in the future.

I bought this product several times in the past few months to protect my dogs beds from accidents. I have several older dogs and they suffer from incontinence. Before, when they would have accidents.

I would have to wash their entire beds! Now, I just have to wash their Waterproof Reversible Pet Blanket Throw!! The bonus is it is so soft that they love to sleep on it compared to other waterproof pads I have used in the past! So, if they have an accident in their sleep no problem! I have bought several of Petmaker Waterproof pet blanket throws in several sizes and colors!! Love their product!.

The material was nice, the presentation beautiful, but is not functional to stay on the couch without it slipping and not staying put on thslippery. The sherpa and other silky fabric thats supposedly waterproof, continually moves, separating causing the blanket to not stay stationary.

This isn’t really functional as a couch cover, maybe as a blanket instead? My dog is afraid to jump off the couch with this under him since its so slippery so they will not be used as couch covers. Although I got 2 of these, they will either be used as blankets or get moved to the dogs bed.

Really disappointed in this purchase for the intended use.

My puppy LOVES this blanket. She’s a Chinese Crested hairy hairless, so I wanted to make sure she had something warm to snuggle. She literally drags it around and lays it in whatever room I’m in to sleep on.

My only complaint is that when I washed it, it REFUSED to dry. Like I seriously ran this thing through my spin cycle 8 times, the dryer 3 times, air dried for a few hours and then back to the dryer one final time.

That’s hugely annoying but my pup loves it so, anything for her!.

This is a wonderful little blanket and it’s so well made and so soooo soft. I’m not too sure my little 9 week old Lhasa Apso is going to get it. After all, she’s got all that hair and probably couldn’t really feel the softness.

Do ya think? Ya think I can talk her out of it? Her’s is a beautiful light pink too! Can dogs see color? Cute little dogs have it so good these days!.

First, I got the largest one to cover as much of the bed as possible. But my cat is a burrower, who likes to get under things. I actually worried if she would have adequate air under this. So, instead of using the big one, I’ve gotten several of the smallest ones.

Now she is never far from air, and they are easier to wash in the machine. Although they wash very well, the largest required supervision for the spin cycle.

My spoiled, overindulged kitties have a habit of tossing their cookies all over my bed, and I’m tired of coming home from work to discover I have to strip everything right down to the mattress and run multiple loads of laundry just so I can sleep.

I bought the PetAmi Waterproof Reversible Blanket and it has saved the day. It’s soft and cozy for both the kitties and me, and it protects my bedding. Now if someone has an upset tummy, only the blanket has to be washed! Yay! In fact, I bought two blankets so I can protect my guest bed, too.

I am thrilled with these reversible blankets. I bought six blankets, enough to cover all of my living room furniture. The dark grayish-blue color matches my decor very well. The fabric is very soft and pliable.

The blankets are easy to handle because they are lightweight. I highly recommend these blankets for people who want to keep their pet hair off of their furniture. My dogs have had no “accidents” so I do not know yet if the blankets are waterproof, as advertised.

It’s not quite as big as I pictured it. Nice color. The material makes me question if it’s actually waterproof but luckily no accidents have been had on it to find out. I’m not sure how long it will last though.

The lining on the bottom seems to shed off already and my pup’s nails are making little marks on it. Overall I would say so far it seems I could have bought this blanket anywhere, but it is still nice to have.

I bought the sherpa fleece waterproof blanket because I wanted a dedicated blanket for our dog rather than her using whatever blanket was around. AND SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. Wherever we put the blanket, whether on the couch or on the floor in our office or on our bed, she will go and lay on it.

Wherever the blanket goes, she goes. She loves it so much that it’s changed all of our sleeping habits for the better. Instead of pushing one of us nearly off the bed so she can use us as a pillow, we put the blanket right in the middle of the bed and she doesn’t move off of it all night.

It’s amazing, I cannot believe how much she loves this blanket!.

Our senior dog was getting up in age (17) so I decided a waterproof blanket may be a good idea. When the blankets arrived I was surprised at how pretty they were. Love the colors and the large one fit perfectly on our king size bed.

But they didn’t seem waterproof. I can say now, without a doubt, the blankets are waterproof. They wash nicely but take a while to dry. I used low heat in the dryer and then let them air dry the rest of the way.

These blankets are pretty, they are warm AND waterproof.

Super soft and cuddly, not crinkly like you would expect for a waterproof blanket, and the colors are true to the photos. I got the large since I wanted it to cover the car backseat/couch completely, and I highly recommend! Excited to take this camping this summer.

I highly recommend these products to every dog lover. The dogs love them. And for the humans, they are easy to wash, comfortable to sit on, attractive, and they look brand-new even after a few years of use including some washings.

The removable covers for the beds are easy to put back on after washing. I started out with one bed for a narrow space between our bed and the wall. and our dog immediately got on the bed with her frozen Kong.

The cover is so easy to put back on that I have actually washed that cover a few times rather than just live with a manky dog bed like I have in the past. Then we bought a throw for the couch, and that became my dog’s favorite spot.

So we bought another throw for her twin-mattress-by-the-fire. And then another bed for under my desk in my home office. And then for holidays, we bought a throw for each of my family households. Each household reported that their dogs — ranging from a tiny Maltese to a 75-pound Golden Retriever — loved it.

I bought this latest blanket as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I have two of them already and she loved the fact that they are so protective and even waterproof! My daughter and son-in-law just purchased a new couch and they have two dogs that they would like to protect their new purchase from.

They received the gift in time for Christmas and they love it. The color matched their decor perfectly and their catahoula leopard dog basically claimed it and won’t share it with their little bichon frise! The only problem here is that they only have one blanket and will obviously be needing another, LOL.

As to the quality, I love it because it protects from everything including my Lola attempts to dig a hole on the couch to lay on not to mention the accidents that occurred when they were younger! It’s a great product for sure!.

When I saw this advertisement I was instantly drawn to its chic luxurious look. And I will say when it arrived it completely met my expectations. Looked and felt great. We use it to protect our new couch and it does just that.

However, when it comes to washing that’s where I have my issue. It collects a lot of fur and dirt and tend to hold onto smells in its fiber which calls for frequent washing, which is fine. Unfortunately, it takes FORVER to hang dry and leave puddles of water on the floor as it hold a lot of liquid and it’s very heavy.

Additionally, the fur gets very matted and doesn’t keep its luxurious look that originally drew me to it. I did find that brushing it out helps. But overall this blanket requires more grooming than my dogs.

I love this pet throw. It’s large size covers and protects our couch from our pup’s messes. I bought another one for our king size bed too. Very soft and comfortable for people. Washed it once. Took a bit longer to dry but retained its shape and durability in a casual wash cycle using cold water and liquid detergent.

I would definitely purchase this again.

Great waterproof blanket that both my pups love! The sherpa side is so soft and warm and the red plaid print looks even better in person. Highly recommend this blanket for your fur babies.

I love that this blanket can hold fluid. My son is still wetting the bed and I hate letting him sleep anywhere without protection. So many accidents that have made me irritated when he wants to sleep anywhere other than his own bed.

With this blanket I’m confident I won’t have a mess to clean up. Just throw it in the washer and we are done. Added plus it looks and feels good and washes well.

This is not only beautiful but it’s so cozy I love to snuggle with it at the end of the day. It’s the right weight to help you relax and be warm but not hot. I highly recommend this at the end of the day I drape it over the couch and it matches great with my bedroom room decor.

and the fact that it’s water proof makes it a that much better my kids are very clumsy lol so far so good but I’m sure it will clean up nice!.

I was really excited to get my king sized waterproof throw. My Facebook feed was constantly showing the Paw ads so I finally took the bait and ordered. The good: I ordered the cow print and it is stunning to look at.

I have 2 dogs that like to chew blankets and they aren’t interesting in chewing this blanket—a win! Also, I have 3 cats and I’m not seeing the blanket accumulate cat hair. The bad: the blanket itself is thin and for the quality seems a bit overpriced.

The % off of the blankets is also quite confusing—the advertising is very misleading. With time I will see how this blanket stands up to 4 big dogs.

I purchased one blanket to cover my Doberman’s bed since she was having spotting at night due to spay! That was a god send! She loves this soft blanket! I love it because it washes well, I wash it every day and dry it in the sun.

I also dried it in the dryer and it came out perfect. The good thing is she does not eat it (she has destroyed many beds, lol!). So I went back and bought two more for other rooms in the house and as extra when one is being washed!! I very highly recommend!!!.

I love this coat! I purchased 3 for my dogs; small-medium-large. The large fits my large dog nicely. One dog is in between the medium and small. She is always hard to fit. I can use either for her tho one is slightly too big and one is short on the length of the back leaving a bit of her rump out.

I am waiting for the puppy to grow and will use either or rotating the small and medium as he passes up his sister. The coats are very nice quality and I love them!.

these dog coats are dirt cheap for their quality. they are pretty water proof, are warm and comfortable for my dogs who run and work in them in the snow and rain. they arent as tough as some of the other jackets ive got but for the price, they are a steal.

the girth strap is a little far back for male dogs so you have to snug them up if you dont want dog pee all over the strap. i ordered 18 of them and my order was perfect with no mess-ups. they were delivered on time and packaged very nicely.

This dog blanket is not male-dog-friendly. The belly strap is way too wide covering his private part. I have a Papillon that the blanket fit length wise down his back, but it was bulky. When I tried it on him, he looked miserable.

Maybe it would fit a different type female dog.

Fit’s my long lean tall Doberman perfectly and I can take out the liner (just like ALL RAMBO HORSE BLANKETS) if I need too! Just perfect on fit and she LOVES wearing it. Reflectors help cause she is a BLACK/TAN so at least I can see her in the pastures at night when she goes out with me early or late and not loose her.

Of course, she looks like a lightening streak going 40 miles an hour. Being bred for working dog (and she LOVES to work) at least I can see her when I call her and know she’s on her way! We only have 5 acres, and she LOVES it on cold mornings and with winter coming, I’m sure she’ll be even happier when she has to hop snow drifts just to pee or poop.

According to the chart , my dog, a doberman needed an xxl. She was swimming in this. The quality is outstanding but Im kinda bummed because I originally had a Large in my cart, which is the size she actually needed.

Now all the Large sizes are sold out. If you have a large thinner type dog go down a size or 2.

My dogs haven’t like other coats but they like these. The Medium is a perfect for my Aussie Corgi mix but the small is about an 2 inches too short for my Chihuahua Lab mix. I love the reflective piping all around the coat along with bigger strips on the hind end.

Also the removable liner will be great for spring and fall rainy days Everyone at the barn said they looked great in them,.

My dogs, I have two, have several layers of rug that they sleep on and then each has a thick bath mat. and then these amazing LL Bean Dog blankets. This is my second review. to say that these blankets wash and go in the dryer and are amazing!.

The fleece is intact and fluffy again. the other side soft and smooth. My dogs sometimes like to scratch up a nest and then lie down. the blankets have no damage! One of my sweet dogs has shorter hair.

and he has two blankets. he loves when I cover him up on a chilly night with one blanket while he is lying on the other. I like these far better than a dog bed since my space is small. I can step on the blanket if necessary to reach something.

This is a great blanket and I placed it over the LL Bean dog bed that our dogs spend so much time on. In no time one of our beloved senior dogs peed on the new blanket. As promised the waterproof lining protected the dog bed! Great product! The only drawback for me is that my high efficiency washer had a hard time with that waterproof layer in the blanket.

So The new blanket has been moved to the back of the car where it will still be used but need fewer washes. Again I like the product and if I had my old agitator washer it would be perfect for us.

My Lab loves this blanket. I bought the medium size so he can carry it around and shake it – a favorite pastime of his. It washed up nicely and so far the seams are holding up to his chewing. He has shredded many blankets, but this one is still intact after a month, so I’m impressed with its structural integrity.

This is an awesome little blanket, I have no complaints as to the quality or even the size. Just remember it IS little. I looked at the dimensions before I ordered, but I neglected to take out my tape measure so I could visualize.

To help you, the smaller size is just barely big enough to go along a back seat of most cars as a cover, but just on the bottom part of it. There would be just enough width to tuck it in so it wouldn’t move too much.

My cats will purr and “make biscuits” on this for several minutes. they will also push it around on the laminate flooring to put it in their favorite spot. I used to have it on my chair to keep from getting fur on it and having them scratch my chair.

But since they love this blanket so much, I keep it on the floor for them to use anytime. I will definitely be getting another one.

I bought this for my 16 year old mini poodle who has had a few accidents in the bed. I was hesitant but, decided to try it out instead of washing sheets, comforter and mattress waterproof pad. I got the blanket and took it outside and hung it over my porch banister and put it to the test with a full Tupperware pitcher full of water.

It absolutely did the job! Only thing is if you lift the blanket up without picking up all four corners to keep the fluid in the middle of the blanket it will leak right out of the corners. I have only left maybe 3 reviews for things and felt this one deserved a great review for those looking for something to help you ageing fur babies with accidents.

We got this for our elderly kitty who had taken to peeing on our bed. this seemed like the perfect solution since she usually targeted blankets specifically! This is waterproof, as advertised! On the top (color) side, the pee just pools up and slides right off.

If it sits for a bit, it will settle into the fabric, but you can still wipe most of it off with a paper towel. It NEVER soaks through! The sherpa side is absorbent, perfect for situations where the pooling/beading up of the other side might spill off and make a mess.

Again, it never soaks through to the other side. Washes like a dream.

This is the second dog coat I have purchased. The first, from a very popular outdoor clothing company (starts with a C and ends with hart lol) looked nice and fit our australian shepard mix ok but seemed too big and bulky.

Moreover, he didn’t like it all that well. Going without a coat isn’t an option as we are deep in the country, neighboring public hunting grounds and my buddy is a big boy and has coloration very similar to white tailed deer.

This Tough-1 is hands down better in just about every way than the other. It fits better, does not twist, allows for more freedom of movement and, my dog actually gets excited about having it put on to go out and play frisbee.

He is able to run, jump, catch and retrieve without having to seemingly fight the coat. I’ve already recommended this coat to a neighbor who was looking for one for his pup. Very happy with this purchase.

Very good value for the coat. Well made, good material. Fit is according to the size chart and not short on back to tail length. Sheds water/snow. Pretty colors. The only complaint is that the neck opening is too large on a more elegant neck and the buckles in front to not tighten up enough to keep the coat from shifting.

She is a Dalmatian, so not built like a Bully breed. Coat fits my mature male Dalmatian well. Ordering a different jacket for her that has neck piece coming up about 3 – 4 inches.

The quality of this dog blanket is very impressive, especially at this price. I wish that the velcro stomach strap had a buckle instead of velcro for washing and durability but for now, the velcro works fine.

I love the harness flap. So few dog jackets have this! It would be great if it were a little longer so it fit more harnesses. The only reason I’m giving this a 3 is because of the lack of adjustability on the neck closure (which IS a buckle – yay!).

I have this on the tightest setting and it’s still too big but the chest and the back/length of the coat are perfect. My dog is a (best guess) German Shepherd, Whippet, Black Mouth Cur with a big chest and wasp waist.

The weight of this blanket is nice is heavy for really cold winter mornings of barn chores with the dogs. It also has full coverage which many other blankets do not have

Love these blankets. They are minky soft on one side, with cotton soft faux shearling on the other side. Waterproof inner layer. Kept the bed dry and the sofa dry when my 13 y/o Westie pees in her sleep.

Plus, they are super soft if you find yourself needing a throw to take the chill off watching movies. Cute paw print on the corner. Colors are accurate to online.

This blanket arrived and was a lot thinner than expected. I decided to give it a try, anyway. I put it Sherpa side up where our golden likes to lay. Our golden is an old girl and leaks a little urine when she lays down.

We just received this bundle; large/x large curve bed in Sable and blanket in Sable – We LOVE them! The Sable matches our brindle Plott Hound and she was snoring away happily the very first night we received them.

My fur babies and I instantly fell in love with this bed! It’s light enough to move around, if needed, yet supportive. I love that it doesn’t look like a normal dog bed and looks more like a stylish rug.

Washing it is a dream! I was afraid the fur would become matted but it looks just as wonderful as the day we bought it. As for the blanket, I love that it blends with the decor in my bedroom. I only wish it was slightly larger to cover the entire bed.

I feel it’s a few inches small, especially when I have one dog all the way at the end of the bed and one up by my chest. Overall, I still love it.
