I think this is as big of a generator you can get and consider it portable. It has a nicely designed quality telescopic handle and 2 grab handles on top. It is an inverter/generator with specified very low harmonic distortion.

I figure that most electric merchandise these days are controlled by sensitive electronics and decided it would be prudent to get a unit with cleaner electricity output then a conventional generator supplies.

Considering the retail price relative to other known high quality manufacturers, I think the unit overall is a sound purchase for occasional recreational and emergency usage. My only negative criticism is the very common known issue with the automatic electric choke.

Cold starting the engine in almost all scenarios requires setting the choke and the choke should be off when the engine starts to run properly. I was anticipating this to be an issue on the unit I purchased and was not concerned about making the repair as there are several detailed videos online that provide instructions.

However, I don’t understand why this is a ongoing problem and honestly I was close to going with another manufacturer because I felt that this seemingly minor, ongoing unresolved issue may be indicative of several other soon to be exposed operating problems.

My choke would not engage upon initial start attempt. The engine would not start unlike others that did start but the choke would not disengage. My problem was the same though as the electronic choke harness was not plugged into it’s connector.

I suppose time will tell but I will say after having to remove and loosen most of the plastic panels to repair the electric choke issue, the parts and assembly that I could see seem to be quality constructed.

Once I corrected the choke the unit fired up right away and has ran great since.

I use my generator to camp while horseback riding. I prevationally purchased an i 2500 to use while horseback camping, but at the time I did not have a living quarter horse trailer with an AC. Now that I do have the living quarter horse trailer I decided to purchase the IGen4500 C.

I love that it has the 30 amp RV plug on it. The two carry handles on top make it easy enough for a friend and me to carry it together when I have to lift it up. It comes with wheels, so no added expense to buy a wheel kit.

It has an automatic choke so we don’t have to worry about choking it before you start it. And best of all it fired up the very first time with one push of the on and off button right out of the box. And I saved about $2000 compared to the leading brand.

My review of the iGEN4500 is based on owning a Westinghouse WH2400i prior to this purchase. The iGEN4500 is roughly twice the size physically and in power. The iGEN4500 has more bells and whistles; electric and remote start, larger fuel tank, stronger engine, and carrying handle.

Unfortunately, the iGEN4500 did not improve on the oil filler location. It is still troublesome to fill and not get oil inside the compartment. Access the internal on the iGEN4500 is better than the WH2400i.

All is necessary is to unscrew some screws and you are in. I’m torn on gas consumption, though. I could get 14 hours on 1. 4 gallons of gas with the WH2400i, but I get 22 hours on 3. 4 gallons of gas with the iGEN4500.

I really wanted the electric start so I was willing to accept the higher gas usage of the iGEN4500, or at least I think I do. Now, the most recognizable difference has been in sound (loudness). I believe both the iGEN4500 and WH2400i have the same decibel rating but to my ears the iGEN4500 is noticeably quieter.

I really despise companies marketing generators as quiet and/or super quiet. It has to be as stupidest as calling power banks solar generators. Generators are not quiet, but I will say the iGEN4500 , compared to the WH2400i completely took me by surprise.

In my book, there are two wins in the iGEN4500 column, electric start and less generator noise. Just like the WH2400i, I do not plan to put many hours on the unit. It will only see occasional use. But it is nice to know I can move the unit easily outdoor, run an extension cord to wherever my load is, go back indoors, and use the remote start key fob.

It will be equally nice to barely hear the generator running from indoors. I hope this guy will give me troublefree operation just as the WH2400i during it reign.

The fact that this is a 5500 watt inverter generator that bumps up to 7000 watts for the larger startup draw on things like air conditioning and microwaves would be enough for most people. But people that do not know the difference, don’t realize, that the reason generators fail to start is because of the lack of use.

It may sit for years with gas in it before you ever try to use tin an emergency Well, gas that sits in any generator”s gas tank (and carb) for an extended period of time will gum up a carburetor leaving it disabled.

For a small engine motor that is almost never used, the introduction to fuel injection on a generator was a game changer. Let me state. I wouldn’t keep 3 gallons of gas in the tank for five years and expect it run the next time I needed it to, but I bet it would.

In short. If you can. Run the gas out empty as much as possible every season. The fuel injectors aren’t as susceptible to gumming from stale gas as carburetors are. Keep a battery tender on it though because the generator won’t charge the on board battery sufficiently.

It’s a known problem. Just deal with it like I have for years.

You will need two grown men to get this thing in and out of a truck. Its a beast. Very well packaged for shipping. It has to be. First impression is very well built, all heavy duty. Put the wheels and support legs on with ease.

This thing is just so heavy so I had it on some 6×6 blocks to get it off the floor to help with that task. Battery comes with it, bit of a pain to form cables in small area to land them on battery posts.

Added my oil and good gas and it fired right up. It is so quiet. I could not be more happy with how quiet it is. Please do the right thing and break this generator in correctly. Plenty of information on line to get this done.

This generator has everything you need to get through a power outage. Yes they are very expensive, but piece of mind is priceless. It is so well built it should last for years if properly cared for. It is by far the baddest somewhat portable generator on the planet.

You will not regret the purchase. Again. Its a beast.

I purchased this generator 2 years ago. I run it regularly for my business. The first year and first 800 hours were great. Come year two and just over 800 hours the generator has been nothing but problems.

Furthermore, Honda has a horrible warranty. They are telling me that they do not replace generators, they only repair them. Currently they cannot repair my generator because they do not know the cause of it not turning on or shutting down.

I have read many people having similar issues with what seems to be the heat causing the generator not working properly. They should recall this generator.

It was exactly the unit I needed. I was going to buy a generator at half the price, until I found out how important a clean sine wave was for electronic equipment. My furnace and water heater both recommended Total Harmonic Distortion at less than 5 %, so an inverter generator like this one was the only way to go, and this seemed to be the best option out there, considering both quality and price.

It will also be running two computers and all my office equipment, as well as the TV and all related accessories (DVD player, etc. ) After thoroughly reading the manual and prepping the unit, it actually started on the first pull, even with a carburetor dry from the factory.

This generator is a beast. a truly Big Friggin Generator! 😉 To be honest, I can’t share a whole lot yet since, aside from starting it a few times just testing things out, the only time I’ve used it so far was for 6 or so hours last week when we were having some electrical work done so the power from the road was cut.

During that period we were only running a handful of things off extension cords so the generator wasn’t even breaking a sweat. but it ran great, was easy to start, and despite it’s obvious heft was pretty easy to roll around to the front of the house and then back into the carport when I was done.

The reason for the elec work was to have a main disconnect installed, allowing me to fully (though manually) transfer from utility power to generator for everything in our home without worry of back-feeding the grid.

I’ll update again once we’ve tested the generator in this capacity, but I have no doubt it is going to perform just as well under an actual load. It may be early, but so far I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

The one ‘negative’ I’d add is that I wish this model had the option (out of the box) to also run on LPG. But at the end of the day, if I have to keep plenty of gas cans around, so be it. —————————————- Update: Sept 2021 Being in Southwest MS, I thought it might be a good idea to finish up the work that was needed to hook up the generator to the house prior to Hurricane Ida moving through.

So I did just that. about 24 hours before she hit. 😮 Our power went out just before 1AM the night she came through and stayed off for just over 3 days. After the first day of running, I shut it down, let it cool off, and changed the oil to some quality 5w30 full synthetic.

After that, it was only a matter of keeping gas in it. We found that the generator could easily power all our lights and appliances (including 1 fridge and 2 upright freezers) as well as the hot water heater and two mini-splits in an addition we just completed.

We could use our dryer, microwave, toaster oven, even our induction stove with no issue as long as the water heater wasn’t running at the same time (which I would just flip off if we planned to run any of the above).

In fact, while it did pull a pretty good load on startup, it would even run our central a/c!!! Aside from running multiple hi-amperage devices at once, the only thing I found that it would not run was the heat / furnace for our central unit.

It’s all electric so when the heating elements kicked on, it threw the 50A breaker on the generator. Certainly can’t complain about that! Having put it through some real use, I am even more pleased than before!.

I searched the internet for about 2 weeks for the best deal/Best performance and customer ratings. I got this Generator for $229. 00 SHIPPING INCLUDED. The Wheel Kit is a must have unless you are going to mount it permanently.

The DuroStar has by far the best Customer ratings of any like priced Generator and even better to some costing much more! It will run our Campers Roof-top AC unit Fridge and lights with no problem if and when needed.

It will also run our Furnace, lights and Refrigerator at it’s top end of power. You need to pull and discard a metal shipping brace and Wooden Block from the underside. I kept the plastic cover to be used as a dust cover, (But only after the Generator has cooled down)! The Choke lever and the Breaker switch are made too flimsy on this model and I don’t understand skimping a few pennyies of material cost on heavier plastic?? also a 12V output would be a nice feature, but at this close-out price I won’t complain too much but I will be ordering an extra choke lever just in case.

I have alwaysbeen Mechanically inclined so I am not afraid of this unit, especially after reading One Star reviews from people over a bolt or two working loose after a few weeks of running, really? The first thing I did was epoxy a small powerful Alnico Magnet onto the inside end of the oil drain plug.

During the break-in period there are always metal shavings that are part of the process while parts that contact each other match up, The Alnico magnet catches those Ferrous Metal shavings so they don’t stay suspended in the oil, this was an old Mechanics trick I use for every Motor that does not already come with a magnetic drain plug.

I used regular 10-W-30 motor oil for the break-in period because Synthetic is too “slippery for good ring seating. When Breaking in any Gasoline motor it is advisable to vary the Engine speed so I went out during the 4 hr run time and manually pushed the throttle up for a few minutes every 20 minutes, I also plugged in several different objects which ran the Governor and lugged the Engine differently.

When I changed the oil there was kind of a paste of metal stuck on the drain plug showing the Magnet did it’s job properly, that metal acts like sand paper inside the Engine and is why it is required to do a first oil change after a few hours run time.

Speaking of operating speed it is set fairly high from the Factory, this is to take some of the shock of appliance startup like Air Conditioners, it also adds to runtime noise and fuel consumption when at a low usage period.

as more and more power is required the Governor takes control and gives the motor more fuel by opening the throttle. The Governor is a simple device run off of the cooling fins on the motor, as the motor lugs down the engine speed slows down which puts less air pressure on the governor control, this in turn opens the throttle more until the preset speed is met.

It is a simple but very effective device and why you CAN lower the Engine idle speed. My last Generator (which is the same model basically) has over double the running time the MFGR has rated the engine life! It still works but is beginning to use oil and with the motor just holding 20 oz it requires getting up in the middle of the night at times to add oil.

I wish that the Motor held a full quart, it would be more convenient AND increase run time between oil changes. Which at 20 hours is more often than about every other brand of Generator on the Market.

Running Synthetic not only extends Engine life and I change at 30-40 hours run time depending on how hard it has run. I advise keeping a Log Book including run time and oil changes, this takes all the guesswork out of oil changes.

putting the log book in a zip lock bag keeps it Weather proof and allows you to keep it at the generator at all times. A couple strips of Duct tape and heavy string allows you to tie the bag on the generator.

I hope my tips help some of you on the fence of buying this brand. This price will only be around for a short time until the stock off 4000’s runs out for the new model 4400 costing about $100. 00 more.

Bought because main generator in my RV needs major engine repair and parts might be slow in coming. The DuroMax DS4000S/3300w generator is very solid. Included tools are of marginal use as you need a lot more leverage than these small wrenches affords.

No biggie, have plenty of tools to handle the few bolts needing loosening or removal. Oil filling is a challenge but included funnel & clear tubing make it easier. Problem is the fill hole is at the very bottom area si if generator is on floor/ground it is challenging for sure.

Then when you remove tube oil WILL flow out until you get plug/dipstick back in place. I’ll confirm you should change the oil several times during the first 20-25hrs operation. The first in order to help clear out any metal bits in engine left over from manufacturing.

It also gets dirty fast. So pay attention to everything the owner’s manual mentions. Baby it and I’m betting you’ll get years of reliable use. Now, the oh so “special” act of changing the oil. PUT GENERATOR ON BENCH THEN IN BLOCKS or you will have no way to drain oil into a dish or whatever.

I’m going to find a bit of tubing to give additional working room. If you can’t put it up higher to access find a low dish to hold about 20oz of used oil. Those are not short comings just gottchas needing attention.

Starting can’t be easier. Started first pull then every pull. Just don’t work to hard or try to pull really forcefully as if it won’t start right away you missed closing the choke, opening fuel valve, turning on the actual engine button on the front.

But an easy start for sure, at least so far. It’s not really heavy at about 110lbs with fuel & oil. Easier to pick up thanks to it’s cage. Consider adding wheels & handle kit. I learned that at my age now 100lbs is MUCH heavier than it used to be.

Did gravity increase? Electrical connections on front are, not great. The standard 20A/120v receptacles are, well, crappy. The vibration of generator will slowly push any plug out. So consider using the L5-30 three prong twist locking receptacle instead.

Plus that is the full 30A connection if plugging your RV in directly. Sound is fair. Not super quiet but not high pitched obnoxious loud either. A bit of distance and a couple boards to strategically baffle & deflect the sound waves will make it effectively quieter.

Were i to buy again with another $100-$150 in my budget, i paid $229+tax, i would look at the E4400 model instead. Still this is a no regret purchase. It’s going to be a backup, gives me about 50% of electricity my 6.

6Kw generator produces. I can yse convection/microwave oven or one rooftop A/C unit plus keep house batteries charged. What more could I ask for?.

I’ve never owned a portable generator before. I was surprised at how well made it is and how well packaged it was. It came with two wrenches, a screwdriver, spark plug wrench and, thankfully, a funnel for filling it with oil.

I also purchased the wheel kit, which I highly recommend as this thing isn’t lightweight (I think it’s 94 pounds). If you’re getting the wheel kit, purchase it at the same time since you’ll want to install the wheels before adding oil and gasoline (it’s easier to install the wheel kit with the generator upside-down).

After I installed the wheels (the instructions are horrible), I filled it with oil, added some gas, and followed the instructions to start it. It started after a few pulls. I tried it again a couple of hours later and it started on the first pull.

To test it I ran the generator and plugged in a vacuum cleaner. Worked great. I have to assume that the next time I have a power outage that my wife and I will at least be able to make a pot of coffee, have some lamps, use a toaster oven and maybe watch television (assuming cable isn’t out too!).

One bit of advice. If you intend to use a generator for whole-house wiring, look for a generator that also has a 240-volt output. This one does not. With 240-volt output, you can have an electrician add a second circuit breaker box in your home and place a receptacle outside for the generator to plug into.

That way you don’t need to run extension cords and your heating system pump and any built-ins, such as refrigerator, will have power. Just don’t overburden the wattage output of your generator by using too many power-hungry appliances at once.

I always like to start with the one star reviews when purchasing anything over $1k. For the most part on this site it seems as though those reviews are one off type issues with many having nothing to do with the integrity of the generator.

I bought my Honda at Camping World about 4 years ago to use in the discovery, set up and operation of a mining claim l work 8 months of the year. We keep it covered against sun, rain and snow but it’s still outdoors.

The first year I carried it on my quad, frequently using it to power lights, power tools, water pumps as well as a coffee pot, hot plate and radio. It has never let me down. Once, a defective ratchet strap that was holding the generator on my quad broke and when I slowed to take a corner the generator was thrown into the curve tumbling end over end about 20 feet.

Picked it up, dusted it off and it started right up. I’ve worn grooves into the plastic housing around the pull cord starting the generator from every angle possible and usually starting on the first pull.

That said, the pull cord is all I’ve had to replace in terms of parts. In 4+ years I’ve changed the oil 3 times which consisted of emptying it out and putting fresh oil in. I use conventional 30wt oil from Honda.

I continue to clean the original air filter twice a year. During the off season the generator powers our 32ft travel trailer with no issues. It isn’t big enough to run the AC although it once helped to run it when I purchased the Predetor 2000 from Harbor Freight along with the kit to run them parallel.

The Honda has outlasted the Predetor, a dual fuel Champion and is currently backing up a Predetor 6500 which really only runs the AC or my large shop air compressor. This generator is a fantastic product that is reliable enough to provide consistent power under the worst conditions whenever needed.

Smartly used, ie LED lights and low wattage appliances and tools and the less than one gallon of gas will last almost 9 hours. Use the eco feature and half load and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how well it does.

This little generator is what I expected. It starts easily, is pretty quiet and it’s easy to carry. I also appreciate that you can cut off fuel from the fuel tank, but continue to let the engine run until the fuel in the carburetor has been used up.

But. the crankcase breather heater kit (which I purchased separately and is necessary to operate the unit in cold weather) was more difficult to install than I had expected. Seems like Honda should either a) provide the breather heater pre-installed, b) make it easier to install or c) revise their design so that the breather tube won’t ice up in cold weather.

One more minor complaint: The oil fill neck is almost horizontal. This means that only a tiny amount of oil needs to be added between the point where oil is just visible at the far end of the neck and when it is overflowing out the neck.

I suggest Honda make the oil fill neck a little more vertical. That would give you a little more time to stop adding oil before it overflows. But maybe that’s just me, though.

I just spent 2 weeks deer hunting in a canvas wall tent using the Honda EU2200i. All I can say is if you can afford it, you will not regret buying it. I absolutely love it for the ease of starting, quiet operation, fuel economy, and reliability.

My best acquisition for both camping/hunting and our frequent storms here in Louisiana. Why run a noisy 8hp generator sucking 5 gls of gas a night when I can run a room window AC on this for less than a gallon? Easy to convince your wife that this purchase isn’t for deer season, it’s really for those nasty storms that take out power when she needs that blow drier for her hair in the morning, or so she can have a quiet night’s sleep with a window air conditioner keeping things cool.

If she complains about cost, tell her after a storm with no electricity for a week or month, she can turn it off if she still thinks it was too expensive and you will sell it. That will never happen, trust me.

Perfect size; not too big, not too small. Good steam. Same as you get from boiling water on the stove, but its safer and more steam is produced and concentrated. I breath it up my nose for 2 minutes 2-3x day to cure sinus congestion, headache and the clogged ears that occur from the sinus congestion affecting the ear’s tube in the neck.

I add a bit of pure organic sea salt. It helps kill germs and makes more steam. Also good for the winter in homes that use dry heat. Dry heat dries out the nose, sinus and leads to infection, congestion.

The warm steam vaporizer (also is a humidifier) prevents dry nose, sinus. These Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizers are the best. Much better than cool mist, spray brands. Vicks also lasts a long time. My old one was 3 years old.

I dropped it, got the wires/contacts wet, corroded, so I bought this new one. This one gallon size if good! My old was 1 and 1/2 gallon. Too big. Read the product care directions and it will last long.

This is an excellent machine, Do NOT use Well Water, it has to much calcium and other minerals that will adhere to the heating rods (which can be scraped off with a table knife). Use Purified Bottle Water or Bottled Drinking Water, this will keep the Tank & heating rods clean.

Give the machine 10-15 minutes to produce Steam, if not steaming by then, unplug & add about 1/8 teaspoon iodized salt to the solution, that should get it going. The bottled Vicks Vapor solution calls for a max of 4 tablespoons solution, I use simply a “1 shot” Shot Glass (4 tbls) that way if the vapor is to strong, the next time I just add 1/2 Shot Glass and I’m back in business.

Vaporizer Solution should be added to the Water Tank. The water make turn “Milky”, that’s just the solution dissolving in the water, stir the water for a few seconds and it will clear back up.

Worked ok for one day, then got very loud, spitting hot water out everywhere. Also got plugged up with lime scale, with no way to clean it out. Put out a huge amount of steam the one night it worked, there’s no adjustment so it puts alot of condensation on the walls.

No way to turn off night light, and it’s very bright. Don’t buy this junk.

This product functions as advertised. When I received this product I ran several tests to see is it lived up to its advertised claims. For my testing I used a Kill-A-Watt meter to verify the wattage a device used and the total wattage that was used.

To verify that it would run high current devices I ran a coffee maker that was rated at 1,450-watts and a 1,500-watt electric heater. Both devices ran normally. To verify that it had the capacity to run devices for the 1,260-Wh I powered the electric heater set on low (750-watts), recharged the product, and then I powered two regular 100-watt light bulbs (200-watts).

I ran the heater for 1-hour and the product showed that it had 27% of the battery remaining and the Kill-A-Watt meter showed that 0. 76-Kwh had been used. This indicates that the product has approximately 1,040-Wh capacity.

I ran the two light bulbs for 5-hours and the product showed that it had 6% of the battery remaining and the Kill-A-Watt meter showed that 980-Kwh had been used. This indicates that the product has approximately 1,040-Wh capacity.

The 1,040-Wh in use capacity indicates that the unit is about 83% efficient. While testing there was no noticeable noise while running a 200-watt device, but the noise while running the 750-watt device (or larger current) made as much noise as when charging (which is very noticeable).

I have only charged and discharged it 3 times so I can not comment on how long it will last. I intend to use this product as a backup power source while camping in my camper and these values meet my needs and are near the advertised values.

We got fed up with losing power due to hurricanes and “other” reasons in Louisiana. We finally decided to purchase something that would allow us to run our refrigerator, microwave, and a fan or two. This thing does all of that and more.

It only takes about 2 hours to charge (from a standard 110 wall socket). So, we did the math. Even IF we only get 8 hours of use out of it, it only takes 2 hours to charge, food in an unopened fridge easily keeps cold for more than 2 hours without electricity.

So, it’s obvious that this was going to provide what we needed. It turns out that we get WAY MORE than 8 hours of use out of it before needing to recharge. We have run this thing through some rather crazy tests without realizing that we were really testing it.

We’ve used it to run our vacuum for vacuuming our whole house: no problem whatsoever. At one point, we had our fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, oscillating fan, and a couple of phones charging all at the same time on this.

We had forgotten that we didn’t have power in the house! The display is very useful and easy to read. There are some fans that kick in when charging, I’ve not heard them otherwise. I do wish it had enough to run washer and dryer or something like that– but that’s 220 volt stuff.

I know Ecoflow makes a solution that powers your home though your breaker box–looks really awesome, but this unit is not for that kind of thing. Additional reason we bought this: to run full video productions from anywhere.

It easily runs professional 3 camera interview shoots, with 6 lights, 2 computers, 3 monitors, 1 external RAID array, and a couple of confidence monitors. Typically, we only use about 40% of the charge in a day’s use.

The product does have some weight to it. it is a bunch of batteries after all. But it’s easy to carry with the handles and it also fits into common collapsable rolling carts if you want to pull it behind you–which we commonly do.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this item and look forward to using this thing for many, many years. I plan to try to track how well the charge holds over the years. I’ll report back here with any changes in performance or break-down of the product in any way.

This is a smart investment, in my opinion.

There are a lot of these boxes out there and it can be hard to choose from with the tons of options. Ecoflow stands tall above the others with its circuitry design. When you are charging the unit and using the unit simultaneously, it will route the charge power to the demand before it taps into the battery storage.

That is a big deal when it comes to efficiency and longevity. The only downside of Ecoflow units is that they are still using the Li-Ion battery technology. But I would rather have Ecoflows Li-Ion batteries over Bluetti’s circuitry.

It’s not that Bluetti is bad. Ecoflows design is just that much better. P. S. stay clear of the Gucci Prepper youtube channels that want you to buy expensive short-lived portable solar panels for these.

Just use standard rigid/hard panels and save tons of money and get more than twice the life out of your panels.

I purchased this unit mainly because it is a Honda. My shed and garage are filled with Honda products and I see no need to change to a different manufacture. The products I own are 2 marine outboards, two snowblowers, one is a two stage and one is a paddle, tiller, weed wacker, now 23″ lawn mower, Eu2200 generator and now a Eu3000 generator.

My oldest items are over 20 years, several are 7 to 15 years, one 2 years old and now the Eu3000 is my latest purchase. Now you are not going to believe what I am going to tell you. That is that none have ever let me down or broke down.

All I do to take care of my items is use common sense and follow Hondas recommended maintenance and storage rules. Sure they cost more than most like items but you are paying for quality and reliability and it is worth every penny.

So far I have put 6 1/2 hrs. on the unit and it works perfectly and is very quiet. Comparing this unit to many others it is more expensive, and is considerably heavier and I knew that before I purchased it.

It is not a generator that one man can pick up an put in his truck especially with the gas tank full and added wheels with is a must. With a friend, we can pick up this unit and load it into the back of a pickup with a little grunt and that much portability works for me, you may be different and need something with more portability.

There is a similar generator from Honda that has basically the same power ratings but much, much lighter and can be loaded onto a pickup by one person. See the specs. on this site. The difference with a little research is less costly, lighter, more noise, better portability and a few less niceties.

Do the research, its worth it. I knew exactly what I was getting when I bought this unit and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Best of all, when you are camping and nighttime arrives and you and your friends are sitting around the campfire and talking, no one have to raise their voice to be heard over the generator.

It is very quiet. My first camping experience was good on gas, quiet, handled my AC, refrigerator, lights, music, coffee maker etc. very well, you just have to be use to selecting your overall amp draw which is normal common sense.

You get what you pay for!.

Bought my 3000is for the boat to run a dorm style refrigerator, an ice maker & a battery charger. When connecting the battery like so many others have stated no bolts or nuts to connect the battery. Since I’m in the country going to town is a big deal.

Cost me $14. 49 at O’Reilly’s. Finally started it up, & the noise was awful! Couldn’t push choke in or use eco without it dieing. Finally after 5 hours of running I was able to push the choke in. But the generator is loud at 87db, turned on the eco switch & it stayed running but no quiet.

I don’t think this will work on the boat as it’s too darn loud! My 6. 5kw Onan generator in the RV is a lot quieter this this junk. Honda used to have a reputation for the quietest generator but not any more by a long shot.

And apparently there quality control is gone.

Generator failed to stay running after it warmed up. It would sputter and die. It would restart but the same thing would happen. Returned it to the store I purchased it from and they said it had bad gas (which they put in when new).

I thought, OK I will give it a try with new gas. The same thing happened after a few hours of use. I returned it again. They then said they found a sliver of metal in the carb. I took it back home and it still would not stay running for more that an hour or two.

I took it back an currently waiting for them to find the problem. The thought maybe the coil was acting up when it got hot. This is my second one like this to own. I bought one exactly like this one and it has worked flawlessly so far.

I will update this post if possible when the problem is resolved.

So I have the 12,00 EH model for about 3 years now does what it’s supposed too do and backup my power up when needed. A few tips on break-in pull plug and drop table spoon of oil in and pull cord a few times so no dry start.

Best to use Marvel Mystery oil and keep it on hand as I will later explain. Ok now on break oil use a non- synthetic four cycle oil run for a hour then change. Next repeat last step but run for two hours with a load on it then change oil agin.

Now use a four cycle synthetic oil, tip stick with four cycle engine oil as they are formulated just for these motors unlike car oil. Amzoil and Honda are the best ones to use. If you are going to use gas, non- ethanol will save your carb in the long run, but if you are using just regular gas before cutting off gas turn cutoff valve to off and run out gas in line and then use drain screw on carb bowel to drain gas out carburetor before storing! On storage mode to keep motor in good shape, over long periods moisture will creep into motors, to stop this from happening, once agin pull plug and drop in a tablespoon of Marvel Mystery oil then pull cord 2-3 times then put plug back in.

I usually fire mine up about once every 45 days. Then pull my plug and add M. M oil to store it with on each time unit is to be stored!.

I received my DuroMax XP13000EH generator in a timely manner and in very good shipping condition. Very easy to assemble the wheels, handles and rear stand supports. After connection of the battery and adding the oil, I used a propane tank to initially start it up.

After second cranking cycle it started up and ran great, allowing it to run with no load for about 1 hour on LP. I then did use the 50amp 240v rec. and plugged into my house panel and simulated a power outage and put a load onto the generator while running on the LP, it ran great.

By turning off breakers and load sheading unwanted loads (2- heat pumps, water heater, stove, washer, dryer) I was able to run a well pump, 2 refrigerators, upright freezer, wood stove blower, all lights (mostly LED) and still had some room left over for other small items.

I did this for about 2 hours on a 20lb LP tank and about 1 hour on gas and had no problems. The biggest decision behind this model was the capability of being able to use LP versus gasoline but then having the ability of 2 sources, and all the loads that I needed to keep energized in the event of a long power outage.

I love my XP13000EH generator. I only use it with propane but it has no problem running my entire 1850 square foot home. I had an electrician handle the correct installation & installed several CO2 alarms just to be on safe side.

The generator starts up every time with no issues. I will admit I have not turned on every appliance to see how it did. Having the refrigerator/freezer, ac, coffee pot, stove, microwave, television, and lights is more than enough plus hot water.

Laundry can wait in my book to when the power returns. I sleep comfortably knowing this generator is in my garage. The noise level is not bad. I usually have enough juice for my neighbor to run a 115 extension cord to their house.

And the 3 year warranty makes it even a better deal. I am now looking to buy the 15000 in addition to the one I have as an upgrade and keeping the 13000 as a back up or to loan to a neighbor in case of a storm.

I really love these generators.

It’s a life saver for me rite know that my son is sick it helps alot in the nights. It it smells good when you wait like 30 minutes the whole room smells really good. I don’t think it’s expensive. You get 4 pads inside plus the vaporizer it’s a mini plug-in vaporizer with a adjustable nighlight.

I used this recently when my baby was sick and I really liked it. I was impressed at how potent it was and it really helped open up the nose, even for me and I wasn’t sick! I kept it running in his room and he was able to sleep better.

I will definitely be using this whenever we have colds in the house because it worked wonders.

absolutely love the Vicks brand it’s always my go-to when my kids or myself are sick. This really opened up everyone’s nose and lungs plant during the winter months when we were feeling sick. Would repurchase also with the refill pads love love love.

Heavy duty battery, high quality that can be recharged with solar panels (extra, not included) to provide days long power for essentials like a refrigerator and/or freezer and a couple of lamps if you lose power due to a Russian cyber attack on the electric grid or affected by a nuclear strike not directly on you.

I did all the research of competing products available and for something thats portable and relatively affordable this is the best product for you to give much needed peace of mind. It was a Time magazine 100 top invention of last year, so that should give you the confidence.

To charge with sun you will need to do some research and spend an approximate additional $1,000 for solar panels, cords, connectors and stands to produce 800W to 1200W for expedited solar charging. YouTube has videos on how to hook everything up.

Myself I bought HQST 100 watt panels to mount on vertical poles that can be manually rotated throughout the day to follow the sun for maximum charging experience. Don’t let World War III catch you off guard with no power, no lights and rotting food in your refrigerator.

Eating canned food by candlelight is poor way of life. Your neighbors will envy your home with lights and they have none but be careful they may want to visit and take what you have. You will need to make preparations for this too.

A very intelligent sophisticated piece of kit. Very easy to use and set up. You can liken this to a mini Tesla Powerwall but reasonably portable (it weighs 100lbs) as on wheels. It has an LFP type battery which gives it a predicted life of 100% to 80% capacity of 10years but still useable beyond 10 years.

I have 2 of theses – one in kitchen and one in living room. This type of storage really on works well with Solar and economy 7 electric. So far (1 month of having it) all cooking in the kitchen has been free! And in the living room running a small heater in the evening also has been free! Obviously in winter less sunlight so will be charged using the cheaper economy 7 during cheap period! (33p to charge up).

I estimate (for myself) of saving 600-700 a year off our electric bill. Yes expensive kit (7000 for 2) but that 7000 in the bank only yields 85 interest Im effectively getting 600-700 interest! Build quality is exceptional, plastic shell but good quality.

It feels solid when you move it around (has a trolly type handle that pulls out, very strong). You can control it via an app on your phone (gives more options) or just via two buttons on the front. You change the rate of charge (custom) via your phone – the gives just fast or slow options.

But all very easy to navigate. If you like technology and have the money I can recommend it.

For years I kept a gas generator in my garage. I used it maybe 3 times in 15 years. Then I sold it and bought this portable power station – it was a great decision. Why I like this better: * It stays charged and available.

I don’t have to keep gas handy. I don’t have to clean this out after every use to make sure the gas doesn’t go bad after a few years of no usage. * When the power goes out, it goes into action by itself.

I keep an outdoor freezer plugged into it to make sure the contents are maintained if there is a blackout. * I can recharge it a number of ways. It stays charged via a standard wall plug. I have solar panels for worst-case scenarios.

But I can also charge it by plugging into a car. * I can add more batteries. If I want power to last longer, I can chain more of these batteries together. * It’s flexible. I can bring it inside or use it outside.

I can plug virtually any device into it to provide power. I can even take it camping if I want portable power in the wilderness. Downsides: * If you don’t change the draw it places on a circuit while charging, it can blow the circuit and you’ll have to reset the breaker.

* It makes a bit of noise when running. * I haven’t tested it fully, but the documentation suggests it won’t last as long as I would like. Trying to keep a freezer cool on a hot summer day may only last for a single day, so you’ll end up doing a lot of work keeping the thing charged.

But, between my car and the solar panels, I would hope to keep something running for several days at least.

I really didn’t think a Waterless Vaporizer would be this effective. But this Vicks waterless vaporizer is far better then I ever expected. It fits right on my nightstand and no need to fill a vaporizer with water or the liquid vapor.

Furthermore there is no more having that water vapors all over everything. I enjoy the benefits of a vaporizer without everything being dampen. This really soothes my sinuses,and no water. It works with sent pads that releases a menthol vapor in the air, it has 3 different settings for the amount of vapor sent that will be released , and these pads last around 8 hours.

This Vicks waterless vaporizer has a built in night light which makes it real easy to view the unit at night without turning on main light. It is a small square unit around 4 in wide, so it doesn’t take up much space.

I am so glade Vicks came out with this waterless vaporizer. This is perfect in all ways possible. I highly recommend this to all my friends and family.

This little vaporizer was such a blessing when I had a bad chest cold a few days ago. Its small and compact and sits right on my nightstand next to my bed. No having to fill a tank with water or lug around a heavy, bulky machine when you’re already feeling weak and exhausted from being sick.

This little vaporizer comes with vapor pads that last almost 8 hours. The scent doesn’t fade after an hour or 2 either it stays strong the entire time. The vaporizer has a 6 foot cord so it reaches pretty far to the plug in my bedroom without needing an extension cord.

This vaporizer helped me so much clearing out my chest congestion and cleared my sinuses when nothing else would help. I’m definitely picking up a few more of these for the rest of my family.

This is an excellent product. Very easy to set up and use. A nice feature is that it is compact in size. Not being battery powered is a huge plus. There is no mess as pads fit right in and easy to dispose.

I like that it’s small but powerful. Menthol gets me through the night and has made a difference with this weather. Only downfall for me is personally I would prefer no nightlight, but again that is a choice.

Little discomfort for the amount of benefits I receive. Overall I’m extremely pleased.

REALLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE.

I purchased the generator from BJ’s at a very good price. Assembly was extremely easy and only took a few minutes. There was a handle clip missing in the box and the oil cup was crushed. I contacted the company and they are mailing it.

I have not used the generator yet it was purchased in the event of a hurricane power outage.

Truthfully, I didn’t even start it up. Bought it for a small camper and found it was too small on amps. Seems like a decent little generator though.

Bought this Pulsar 2200w Dual Fuel generator for emergency power backup purposes. This is just a review based on an initial unboxing and startup. I plan on only using propane for this generator, but I like that I am able to run it on gas if I happen to run out of propane.

It was package well and the instructions are ok. It started very easily on propane, just follow the directions for starting: 1. Prime the propane line for 3 seconds. 2. Pull out the choke and pull the starter twice.

3. Push in the choke and pull the starter cord again, it started instantly. I have ran it about one hour so far. I also have a Champion 2000w dual fuel generator, I haven’t ran them side by side yet, but if I had to guess I would say that the Champion runs a little quieter than this Pulsar, but the Pulsar is not overly loud.

So far very pleased with this generator, at least based on the initial usage.

Ran ok on propane tank. tested on a 1300 watt heater and it ran fine. Haven’t used it much. The included manual is ok, needs to be more clear with pictures. Plan to keep it for emergency use. Hopefully works ok when we need it.

Had it two years. Only use propane. Never, never use gasoline. Best deal I could find. Easy to start.

So glad I found these. I left a review back in September saying the same thing here. I just have leave another review because these batteries are top of the line quality!! I’ve had the Sony Murata’s and the LGDBHG2’s and they’re both awesome, but for some reason these batteries just feel really good to me.

The power they give off is serious and consistent right down to 1%. My LG’s get weak near 20%, the Sony’s as well. So I am definitely sticking with these from now on. I was thinking about trying the Hohm Work version just because the MAH is lower and the current is higher.

But I figured why do that? When I could just turn my power up on my mod? I use it at 55 – 70 watts. I have a Smok SCAR-18 230W that is great and my mom has the Vzone Emask 218w mod that I absolutely LOVE.
