15 Best Wave Texturizer Kit (2022 Updated)

This product is the best for my hair. I live in Arizona and its pretty dry out here and my hair use to be dry all the time until i went and got my hair done and the hair stylist used this product on my hair.

I’ve been using this since 2005 and i absolutely love it! Just wish it was sold in stores. I will forever be a customer of this product. Thank you Design Essentials for creating an Outstanding Product!.

The product itself is great and I’ve been using it for many years. My problem is that the protective seal that should be on the bottle under the cap, has not been on the bottles of the last two orders I placed, and the bottles were not full.

I would like to see that rectified.

I bought the product for my daughter and my sister. They both have natural hair but 2 different hair types/textures. My sister tried her product first and stated, “it just didn’t do it for me”. I actually tried it on my daughter’s hair 2 days ago and it was like I never added anything to her hair.

Maybe my expectations were to high. I saw so many great comments about the products and it made me think maybe I didn’t actually get the real stuff when I tried it. I don’t really know what happened.

I wanted to love this stuff, most reviews were so positive. Unfortunately it made my hair feel straw-like, like all the other surf sprays I’ve tried. The spray came out in a big shot, dousing some spots and leaving the rest untouched.

Had to spray it in my hands then try to apply evenly. Reviews mentioned a great scent… I thought it smelled like cheap overwhelming perfume. Returned.

I bought this to enhance the natural volume/body in my hair, after getting a shag haircut. I love this compared to other texture sprays because you get full coverage when spraying on your hair. It allows you to gently scrunch will working through your hair (I focus on mid-ends when my hair is dry.

) You can use it on damp hair as well, I find a gently towel dry, short air dry works best with a wide tooth comb to achieve the most body! You can continue to let it air dry, or use the diffuser attachment on your blow dryer on low to help get extra texture!.

The spray was magical! It doesn’t look like it contains sea salt, but it gives exactly the effect that I dreamed of getting from different sea salt sprays. Large surf waves – no dryness, stickiness, stickiness.

It is sprayed with a fine mist, like thermal water. Apply on dried hair, style it with your fingers, or press it, dry it with a hairdryer. I set the hair dryer to low power so that the wavy strands do not fall apart.

And – wow, hair doesn’t curl like a petty demon. Does not crunch from dryness. Volumetric, crisp, textured waves. The beauty! #beauty.

I love that I didn’t have to use much of this product to achieve enough moisture and shine. My hair is natural I think 4a maybe. I’m not sure, but I don’t have the wave design wave perm. I do like how my hair looks anyway.

I use Pro-line 11 Men’s Texturizer to make my hair manageable without completely changing the texture. It’s great also if you want deeper waves. Either way you’ll get a natural look. There are no unbearable odors either.

I ordered two boxes, one for now and one for later. When I received them, I found the tops of both of the texturizing cremes screwed off, and the contents of one of them had made a mess inside the box.

The other crème had become hard from prolonged air exposure. What a waste of money!.

I’ve been using thus product for over 15 years to help manage my hair. The price has gone up at my shopping store on line so I came to Sally’s. Great price

OMG, I chopped off my thick, healthy long ‘past my shoulder length’ permed hair 3 and a 1/2 years ago so I can regrow my hair 100% natural. for that entire time I kept my hair in braids because my natural hair texture is really really thick and hard to manage.

My here is back to shoulder length now and I decided to try this texturizer because it claims to retain your natural texture but with a softer looser curl pattern. Lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all it took two boxes to do my hair and it completely straightened my hair.

In addition, it advises that you shouldn’t keep it on your hair for longer than 20 minutes and I only had it on my hair for 15 minutes! I should have just left my hair alone three and a half years ago because now it would have been down to my waist and permed right now! I would not recommend that anyone uses this product if you want to keep your hair natural.

I finally purchased this kit, after months of hesitation. There is nothing to mix, all in one tub and easy to apply. Also in the box was the neutralizing shampoo, a conditioner, gel and pink lotion. I applied the texturizer and kept it in for about 10 minutes and it came out well.

My hair is short, full and thick. I applied it quickly because I didn’t want it to over process. There were no stringy hair pieces but spiral type curls. Did not have that chemical smell, like most relaxer type products.

My goal was to loosen my hair a bit because it draws up quite easily. It stays full and curly, even when the DC humidity hits it. I washed it about four times, to ensure the product was completely removed.

I had no problems with the product-burning etc. It was very easy to use. My hair combs through better, with this texturizer. Although it is a chemical product, it didn’t feel harsh. I would use it again.

Very disappointed with this product, misrepresentation of results. wanted to loosen my natural curls and in less than 10 minutes I’m left with brittle dry straight hair. Al my hard work in maintaining my natural hair disappeared in under 10 mins.

would never use again not even if these products are being offered for free.

OMG YALL i loveeeeeee this product, al my curly heads go buy, it makes my hair even curlier than it already is and on top of that it keeps my curls and it doesn’t flake up or anything !!! it’s called curl keeper for a reason!! and it smells reallllly good!!! go buy.

The product came as pictured which I was really happy about. Not being able to find this product for moments and finally being able to find it on Walmart was amazing very happy with the product I received.

Curl keeper is the perfect name for this product because that’s exactly what it did for my hair. Not only did my curls last, it had a shine to it. I’d most definitely recommend this product. #VoxBox

does ok for my 4c hair. The only thing I don’t like is I have to shampoo every 3-4 days because it’s get gummy and flaky. I would recommend to others. It last for me a few days. There’s always room for improvement.

Make it less gummy.

I went back to my natural roots two years ago. For this reason, I needed an non sticky activator Stylin’ Gel to go along with my other stylin gels. I found that this gel is a little too sticky for every day use.

So, I prefer to use after my two week washes. With this information, I hope it helps with ones buying decisions. The four rating is because the jar is smaller than my other stylin’ gels. Thanks Miss Kitty.

This is great for short (or medium) length natural hair. It’s really thick so you would have to dilute with water to use (and that makes it last longer) worth the money for a small jar. Doesn’t flake and gives your natural hair a nice sheen and keeps it soft.

P. S. It’s NOT just for men I’m a woman and I use it on my natural hair and I love it!.

Recently went natural and remembered that I used this product for my son years ago, it worked just as well for me now as it did then. Would recommend.

I had a long bob that I usually wear wavy. I got this kit because I wasn’t sure which product would be best to style my hair how I wanted. My stylist used something similar to tousled texture. I use the sea salt spray on my wet hair when I get out of the shower and am letting my hair air dry.

Then I touch up my waves with my curling wand if needed, use the texture gloss (just a tiny amount) to make it glossy and catch any fly-aways, and finish with the tousled texture spray for a not too messy but undone look.

I haven’t tried the cleanser yet, but judging but the other products I think it will be great too!.

Love AG products, I can’t even imagine my life without Liquid Effects, fast food, and the shampoo and conditioners. I’ve tried to buy others because of cost, but nope. won’t leave home without my products.

I thick, type 3 curls and these products aren’t for us. I will say I love how the cleansing cream feels, But i think I’ll do my normal hair routine after. my guess is that this product is for fine, wavy hair.

Someone recommended this product line to me so I decided to try it. I bought the travel size kit because I wasn’t sure if I would like it. I don’t like it, I love it!!!! This is one of the best product lines I have ever used!!.

This products works well. I have purchased similar products in the past that provided little to no results but this works as described. I was very happy with the results so I purchased a second bottle for touch ups later on.

I always buy this product foŕ daughters hair i liked to use it on her hair to get it manageble. I have been using it for couple of years. I noticed that her hair was very dry after using it so i wont be buying it for her anymore.

Briogeo gifted me this product to test, honest opinions are my own. The brand new Superfoods Banana + Coconut Hydrating Soft Waves Texture Spray ($24/5. 75oz) is a salt-free + alcohol-free wave spray that leaves my untreated 2A type Asian hair with textured yet soft beachy waves.

I wish my hair would dry stick straight or nice + wavy but nope, it needs some help to create presentable frizz free waves. I’ve used many sea salt sprays in the past, but found them to be drying, my hair is super crunchy, or on the pricey side cost per use.

Coconut Sugar provides the salt-free alternative “grit” for the piecey, beachy waves without drying the hair out or leaving the hair crunchy. Banana & Coconut Extracts provide the beachy scent and added anti-oxidants + hydration to protect the hair.

It is so easy to use: Spritz Superfoods Banana + Coconut Hydrating Soft Waves Texture Spray into damp or dry hair. Scrunch or twist (I also like to braid!) hair to maximize soft waves. Air dry or diffuse.

Con: I love the take me somewhere beachy or tropical scent but if you prefer fragrance free this may not be for you. I wish the nozzle sprayed more mist like vs straight shot. I recommend this spray for anyone looking for a wave spray for soft, natural looking beachy waves minus the crunch! 4 stars only because of the packaging but I think I can transfer into a travel spritz bottle.

I really did not enjoy this product from start to finish. First off, the scent is not something I enjoy at all. When it said banana coconut, I expected a fun tropical summer scent but this is straight artificial bananas, not super sweet or anything but like legit banana lol I personally don’t enjoy tossing my hair around and having bananas scent the air but that’s just me.

Second, the spray comes out in like a jet stream, very skinny, which makes it extremely difficult to evenly dispense throughout my hair and I end up over-applying bc it feels like it hits one spot each time you spray and then it kind of weighed my hair down.

Thirdly, this did not give me ANY texture or waves! Nothing! My hair was actually more wavy without this product in it. The only positive I could find was that my hair felt soft and conditioned where many wave enhancing sprays or products usually result in some dryness or roughness.

I’m going back to my Oribe shine and wave spray, I was trying to find a more budget friendly option but there’s nothing like it that I’ve come across.

For example, this spray doesn’t contain alcohol or salt! At first, I was a little skeptical about this product but brings a brand new style to my boring straight hair. Now, I have more choices without using hot tools.

Another must-have in every haircare routine. It smells amazing but do not apply too much or it will be overwhelming. The waves and scent remain on the hair for a while. The spray technology is not the best but provides a generous amount of product.

Make sure to apply the product far from the hair or on the hands. The texture is concentrated but absorbs quickly. I applied it to dry hair and put my hair on a loose braid. I leave it for three hours and the results were unexpected.

Hair doesn’t feel oily or crunchy, detangles easily, looks nourish, and makes a lot of beautiful beach waves. Also, add a lot of volume to my hair!.

The shampoo and conditioner are great! I usually stay away from product in my hair but the WaveMaker creme did wonders for my hair! Did not like the gel however, made my hair tangled and gross feeling.

I only tried the gel once but that was enough, I ended up rewashing my hair and just put the creme in. Makes my hair soooo soft and nice! Way better than the Lush stuff I was using before. I can’t say I notice any real smell to it since my hair is pretty short, not really a bad thing though.

Definitely recommend if you have fine wavy/curly/coily hair!.

I have naturally curly hair. My hair is very thin; therefore, I was on the lookout for products that would not weigh down my hair and make it look even more scanty. I am super impressed with the Diva curls product line.

The cleanser was super gentle. The conditioner made my hair soft and less frizzy. I used the Ultra defining gel and the Wave maker on wet hair and then I crunched it. They were amazing at defining my curls.

I would purchase full sizes! *Gifted samples by brand for review purposes.

Deva Curl just launched the essentials starter kit for coily folks. I tried all four items in the kit and this is what I think. The no poo sample could use just a little bit of lather. While I know people might enjoy having no lather, I prefer my shampoo to have a tiny bit of lather.

The shampoo DID leave my hair feeling soft which is good. Now, the conditioner was also rich and thick and creamy and worked well. The styling cream was very thick and went through my hair very easily.

It didn’t leave a crunch behind, which I liked, however, the gel was not as strong a hold as indicated but if you’re going for a soft wave or soft curls then this should work for you. Overall a great kit!.

When I first seen this set I really wanted it purely based on looks. The sleek design and the beautiful pink & white colours really did attract me too it. Although I was sold on the looks the bad reviews put me off as I have very long, fine & limp hair that I’ve never been able to curl due to them dropping out.

After much thought I decided to give it a try as everyone’s hair is different. Wow I am so glad I did. When I first got this I did just a few curls in my hair to both try it and see if it would work on my hair type.

Well those curls stayed in all day and were still slightly in the next morning. I was extremely pleased with the results considering I had no products in my hair and didn’t even spray my curls with hair spray after.

I cannot wait to see the results with products. If you are looking at this set and are in two minds then I say go for it. You cannot use someone else’s experience to determine your own outcome as we are all different.

I have really long, fine, brunette hair (not extensions) and found that these worked wonders on my hair! Usually when I curl my hair, the curls drop out within hours. But after using these my curls were staying in for days at a time.

They heat up fairly quickly and are really easy to use. The packaging is so pretty and the brush it comes with really gives your curls that extra oomph. 10 clips isn’t quite enough to do all my hair but that’s not the end of world.

Overall really impressed and so happy with the results, would definitely recommend!.

I bought this as a Christmas present to myself after wanting it for a couple months. It arrived and as soon as I turned it on there was condensation in the screen bit where it shows the temperature. I sent back the item and it was received 8 days ago and still no update on my refund, no apology and just was told I have to wait 14 working days.

I’ve since sent back items that same day with other retailers and I’ve got my refund. I won’t be purchasing from Beauty Bay ever again. Really poor service.
