20 Best Waver For Hair (2022 Updated)

I really like this wave tool! I found it light weight, easy to use, and good quality. I have naturally wavy hair, but needed something to even out my waves. I wash my hair the night before and let it air dry.

In the morning I add dry shampoo and use the wave tool. It did take a few times getting used to it. The first time I did too many on each section of hair and it ended up looking crimped. I started only doing it roughly twice on each section of hair and it definitely looked more wavy.

I ran my fingers through the waves to separate them a bit and then added some hair oil and hair spray. I was done in 15 minutes!.

This makes beautiful beach waves. This makes hair look 2b-2c wavy. That’s my natural hair type, but this was on sale so I did want to pick it up and check it out. It’s pretty darn wide to make such a nice wave and not a cramp.

The size of it makes it something that’s really great to use for long hair. I was hoping to use this to fix the back of my head when I wake up in the morning and it’s all smashed from sleeping overnight.

With the large size it’s actually not that great for touching up smooshed waves, the bed head mess-behave that looks like a v shape actually works better for what I need. ( but if you do your whole head with the mess behave one you do you have more of a crimped look, not like 80s crimped, more beachy waves crimped).

It’s smaller size and deep wave works well the touch up my wavy hair, because I can just put it right where I need it fix it and go. Since I naturally have beachy waves my waves are not all standard in uniform so it works really well.

If you have straight hair I would highly recommend this jumbo free barrel here waiver, Im sending mine to my sister who has long straight hair.

I love this thing – child of the 80s and this to me is borderline crimping but I love the look it gives your hair. It gets hot so use a heat protectant. I often use this to style next day hair. The price was great, no problems with button functions or heating of the plates.

I’ve had it for several years and it’s still in great condition. Certainly durable for the amount I use it which is maybe once every few weeks. Gives a great beachy/crimpy wave.

I purchased this waver from Amazon. The reviews are all over the board on it and some weren’t even about the waver (as I’m finding a lot that review is about completely different item) I have hair in a bob style cut that is about 1/2 inch above shoulder length.

I wanted something that I could quickly throw in a couple sections when time didn’t allow straightening it to give me that tousled carefree look. It does wave quite well , but it took several uses to get the wave I was looking for.

I find that a second or 2 can change wave to crimped if not careful. I was using my flat iron to get the look. I thought the waver would be faster but Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. It me longer to make it look like I did nothing.

I’m not sure that if I used it more frequently it would be change time it takes for that look but I have read a few reviews see other reviews refer that issue. Pros – adjustable heat setting, It has a lock position that keeps plates together making much easier to store Easy to handle.

Cons – fine line between wave crimp look. I don’t care for how it flips the ends of hair because if your not careful your ends will look bent. All in All it is a quality feeling instrument with a decent price tag.

I completely love this tool! I have very thin, flat hair that typically doesn’t hold a style well, but I love the idea of a textured wave every now and again. I found this styler at Marshalls and had to grab it to try.

It’s pretty affordable and there are multiple settings for different hair types. I use setting 5 and it’s perfect for my hair. The style lasts for days and refreshes with a texture spray or style product.

I love how it looks and have gotten multiple complements. This is also incredible easy to use, just clamp sections and work your way down. It doesn’t have to be perfect or super precise, so it’s very easy.

I currently have hair just below my collar bones so the width of this tool is perfect right now. If you have longer hair you might consider a wider version of this tool, but I would recommend it if you’re wave curious!.

This crimper works very well in my child’s hair. It gives the hair a nice wave and stays all day. However, the crimper does not like my hair. I went from stick straight hair as a kid to “life has happened” natural uncontrollable waves.

The texture of my hair is also different cause of starting to go gray. This crimper did crimp my hair but after about ten minutes my hair fluffed out like I was electrocuted. So, all in all, great for the kids but not so great for me.

One star off do to the fact it does not lay flat unless it is locked. I am not going to lock and unlock while crimping so I just lay a silicone pad down and put it on there till I am done.

This did exactly what it describes it will do. Reminds me of getting a perm with large rollers. I’ve gotten the same results as pictures I’ve seen in reviews (those with long hair). Takes a little bit of effort to figure out where to place on your hair in relation to the previous placement so the waves don’t looked spaced, but it’s not difficult to get the hang of it.

Temp setting allows for finer areas of hair to receive less heat. I have a lot of hair and it reaches to the middle of my back. I’ve slept on this and the next morning, the wave is still set. The locking mechanism for storage was a good idea.

The only recommendations I make are to suggest having a silicone mat to place on when heated, and to get yourself a comb that is specifically for curly hair; you don’t want to put a brush through this, as it does make it frizzy, but that’s due to how brushes work with curls.

Would love to see a similar product that does larger waves.

Mermaid waves for days! I really enjoyed this tool and would have given 4. 5 stars if I could have. It’s not perfect but definitely great. My hair is very straight and lifeless on any given day. I used the waver on next day hair and it has given me the most fun waves ever.

It gets plenty hot for my hair type but I made sure to use smallish sections so the waves would hold. They are shiny and bouncy. Not frizzy. It did take a little bit of getting used to and the ends can sometimes pop back into the iron sideways if you’re not careful.

I watched a few online tutorials and so covered a few tricks for getting even waves. The hair will slide into place for the next wave if you’re gentle with it. And when doing the top, angle the barrels slightly away from the hair to avoid the crimp line showing.

It’s expensive but I’m ok with the price since I 100% can’t get this look without it. I’m really happy I purchased it.

I just bought this and did tons of research. I read so many reviews and watched videos. I took the plunge last week and was so excited to try it! I have long thick, fine hair that is frizzy before styling.

I sprayed it and brushed it with amika the shield to protect it and as texture. This tool worked beautifully on the left side of my head. When I worked on the right side at all angles, smallish sections, changing the way I held the tool, I could not get a good wave whatsoever.

Maybe my hair is different on one side of my head? My point is, if it could get hotter than 390 degrees I would love it! I’m so bummed to return it. I’m going to have to look for a quality wave crimper that gets hotter.

I would recommend it for anyone who does not need such high heat. The crimps made my hair so shiny on the good side.

I like the idea of this, but it didn’t work out. I am a professional, cosmetologist. I even tried this on some clients as well, its just too much of a hassle. Makes it harder instead of easier. Its really big and clunky, alot bigger than the photos.

The clamp dosent open very easily, so you have to have alot of wrist/hand strength haha! Made me feel so weak. 🤣 it also got extremely hot, which you would think would be a good thing. But since its so big, you have to hold the other end, so you don’t burn yourself or your client.

But you end up burning your finger tips in the end either way. I even tried the glove from a curling wand, still too hot. The end reult/look was okay, but I felt like it wasn’t enough and would have just had better luck with a curling wand.

The Remington 4 in 1 Adjustable Waver is rather on the bulky side and rather difficult to place securely on the countertop because the two small areas meant to keep the unit on its side while using are too small for the size of the unit.

It would probably be more stable if there were a small kickstand at the end of the handle to enhance balance. During use I did find that it was much easier to place the waver on its side. That said, the side tabs (or legs) did not get hot enough to cause damage to the countertop.

Now for the pluses: the small handle on the end of the waver, was necessary for gripping while styling, and stayed cool while doing so. I was impressed by the locking feature that allows the temperature to be locked in while using because the temperature buttons could be easily pressed during use, and also the lock feature for storage is great.

I was happy with the short amount of time needed for the unit to heat. The auto shut-off worked perfectly and in the listed amount of time. The four different wave settings are okay but I noticed the biggest difference between the smallest and largest settings.

All in all a nice styler to have.

I was so excited to get this waver. I don’t always have hours to get ready, so something that could potentially streamline the hair-fixin process was a must! I have fine, medium, shoulder-length hair, and I had no problems using this big ol beast on my hair.

It is a larger tool, but it is simple to use. like a crimper, but not as tight. I like the adjustability of the depth of the waves, but I am going to have to play with this tool some more to figure out the right depth and angle to use it with.

I’m thinking maybe if I alternate each section of hair at different angles, it will look more natural? I did find that when I used this straight on my hair, it made everything look super uniform, and gave my hair a lot of body, which ended up making me look a little too poodle-y.

Again, I’m still working out the kinks and trying to figure out what methods work best for me. Its definitely fun to use and worth getting to avoid using a curling wand or iron.

I am usually intimidated by hair styling products, but I have to say – this was so easy to use and has a lot of user friendly features. To start, the cord is nice and long which isn’t always the case, and it swivels as well so I could move it around with ease.

The product heated up super fast so there was no waiting necessary before getting started. The waver can be adjusted to give four different wave styles, and the depth adjuster was very easy to use and can be adjusted before you start and even once the unit is hot if you find you want tighter or looser waves.

Well, I bought this yesterday and tried it this morning on my long, fine, thin hair, and it does give beachy waves. BUT, don’t run a brush through it or you will look like a frizzy frightened bottle brush! Lesson learned.

I do appreciate the many heat settings to choose from. Note: Some of our family who have had Covid have lost a lot of hair afterwards – seems to be a common side effect. They are using this tool to fluff their remaining hair up and then style as usual while their hair grows back in.

This tool in particular produces smaller waves, and I will definitely be purchasing a second to make bigger ones BUT – 11 out of 10 recommend.

It is so easy to use, takes less than 10 min to do my whole head (and I have a LOT of hair), and with some hairspray I can pull the look off for 5 days easily without the use of dry shampoo. (Don’t judge, I do still shower every day.

I was concerned over the comments about the wave looking 80’s crimped-with my 1st use on one side of my hair-I definitely got a more tight wave look-what some would consider a more crimped look. On the other side-I put more space between the barrel and it was a looser wave.

I received the Hot Tools Professional Nano Ceramic Deep Waver in exchange for my honest opinion. My review is based on my experience with the product only and my opinion of my results. I had a few concerns with this tool at first glance.

First, I did not see an indicator that the tool had heated up enough to use. No light indicator or anything like that. Also I had no idea how to know when to release the clamp. The unit gets very hot.

I was careful to read the instructions for proper use and care. Other than that, the tool worked really well for me! I sectioned out my hair, and I was able to crimp my hair in a very short period of time.

For my hair, which is relatively thin and straight- It produced cute relaxed “beachy” waves. I loved the results!.

I got the Hot Tools Professional Nano Ceramic Deep Waver for myself and daughter. I love how fast the tool heats up and how easy it is to use. This waver works and leaves waves in my hair for up to 3 days.

I do wish that their was some kinda timer that you could set to maybe 5sec, 10sec intervals. It might make it easier to know how long you’ve had the tool clamped on a particular section of your hair.

I think the handle design also gets a little uncomfortable to hold and keep holding closed on your hair after so many repetitions of clamping, waiting, and moving down the hair. Other than these two things I love the look this waver gives and think its a great gift idea!.

I first saw this hair waver several years ago, while I was browsing the hair aisle at a store. I added it to my wishlist of items to try out later, when I had more funds to spend on that and other hair accessories.

Well, over the years I had forgotten that I had wanted to try this product out. When I was invited to review this product, I was reminded why I was so drawn to the hair waver in the first place. With some time and effort from using this product, I’d be able to get those beautiful waves in my hair.

To achieve a similar hairstyle in the past, I’ve French braided my hair, let it stay that way for about 24 hours, and then unbraid it and gently comb out the waves. The downside to that method is that the waves are at a bit of an angle and it doesn’t get the hair near my scalp very wavy, either.

When I first turned on the power to the triple barrel waver, I felt astonished that it heated up to where it needed to be in about 10 seconds. The flat irons and curling irons I’ve used take at least 5-10 minutes to heat up completely.

I was skeptical of this at first. I have very thick very heavy curl coarse hair that goes to my elbows. It holds curls/straightening/etc well, but it’s a mess. When I first saw this I thought why do this if I could braid my hair overnight and take it out in the morning? Or I had flash backs to crimping my hair in the early 2000s.

Boy was I wrong!! First of all this took me maybe 20 minutes to do my whole head which is a huge step from the hour it usually takes me to style my hair. I was impressed with that alone! But it looked SO GOOD.

i got SO many compliments at work and it wasn’t too frizzy either! It left defined waves that tamed my hair. I definitely will be using this regularly!.

This is perfect for fine hair because it’s a small size. I hold it on my hair for 5 seconds before moving down the strand. Don’t brush it afterwards! Just run your fingers through it. If you brush you might puff up!.

bought this a few months back. was just getting 2 use it while i was on a trip. IT DIDNT WORK. like i plugged it in and it DIDNT even turn on. ughhhh i was so disappointed because i thought 4 sure i was putting waves in my hair with a hair scarf.

I will admit, I expected a lot from any styling tool from Hot Tools. I have never been disappointed in the performance or design of any of their curling irons or straighteners and this waver was no exception.

It got hot very quickly. I turned it on, applied my moisturizer and the waver was ready to go. There is definitely a technique to using this on yourself but once you get the hang of it, you give yourself natural, lived-in waves within minutes.

I have quite a bit of thick hair and it takes me about 5 minutes to do my whole head. Now, I will say that you cannot use this tool alone and expect the images you see out there. When using the waver on wash day, I found that the waves fell out due to my hair being clean and conditioned; don’t underestimate the advantage of day old hair.

You MUST use product with it whether it’s a texturizing spray or goop, or even hair oil if you want to achieve a style that holds. It’s everything you would expect from the Hot Tools brand: does what it says it’s gonna do and is durable.

Overall I like the effect that the larger barrels have on my hair and so far this product has operated well, but the place where you put your thumb to open the waver gets so hot that after about 10 minutes of use it’s difficult to even touch.

Also, the on/off button is put in a place where I constantly accidentally touch it and turn it off. Another downfall of this product is that the material that is wrapped around the stand melts (learned the hard way)—the weight of the waver makes it so that it shifts easily and it did just that when I wasn’t paying attention and a part of the stand melted.

These aren’t dealbreakers but they’re definitely annoying design flaws.

I actually used to own this when i was like 10 and obsessed with vanessa hudgens and her hair. I used it for years until i left it at an ex’s house in my teens. Fast forward to a couple years ago i repurchased it not expecting much but i was so surprised! I must have forgotten how amazing this works and how much i loved it! I have extremely long hair and this gets the job done so fast! It usually takes me an hour to style my hair but this takes me about 15-20 minutes (which is amazing for hair so long that goes passed my butt) It has a turning knob for the heat settings which is nice because i usually accidentally press buttons on other tools.

This gives the perfect wave and the style lasts days so i can just apply dry shampoo at my roots, serum to ends and maybe re-crimp a few pieces if needed but overall looks sooo good. I like it better a few days later because it looks a lil messy and more natural.

the waves look great if you’re hair is down, in a claw clip, half up half down, even in a messy bun! I love this tool i think everyone should get it!.

I almost bought the bondi waver but I stumbled upon this. So happy with this waver so far. I like the handle on it. I feel like I can maintain good control being that these triple barrel wavers are heavier.

It heats relatively quick and gives beautiful waves. The only con I have was the shipping. I ordered this through Amazon and it wasn’t in a shipping box. They shipped it in a bag so it came completely mangled.

Luckily it works. If you order, I’d suggest maybe target or through revlons site for better shipping care.

THE beat hair crimper, 3-barrel iron, hair wave iron on the market and THAT is a PINKY PROMISE! 🤙🏻 I have had the same one for over ten years and it still works wonders. I am going to go ahead and buy a new one just Incase they ever stop making it I will have a back up! I saw they sell them on amazon so I am definitely going to purchase a back up.

This is a big crimper which is awesome for people like me with super long hair. It takes half the time it would take with my bed head crimper since this one is a lot bigger and in all honesty the waves turn out so much more beautiful and hold up longer.

I get so many compliments on my hair and wearing my hair crimped is most definitely my most favorite way to wear my hair!.

I love my Wave Artist! I think I have the original one from when it first came out, like 8-9 years ago? I am pretty certain mine does not have a temperature adjustment on it, which is why I’m docking a star.

My hair is incredibly baby fine and thin, won’t hold a curl for anything. With this, I get nice beach waves that last all day long. I use a heat protectant, followed by light comb through and hair spray.

The waves just get better as the day goes on. The only complaint I have is that it makes my hair have a weird almost burnt hair smell all day until I wash it out. My sense of smell is very sensitive, so maybe it just bothers me more than the average person.

I never notice any damage to hair though, it just makes it stinky. I think I’ll upgrade to one with temp control and see if it helps.

The Bed Head Wave Artist is one of my absolute favs! The waves last for DAYS! It’s incredible! My hair is naturally wavey/frizzy bleached/hilighted. I have used it on both short length hair and long hair it’s perfect for both! The VOLUME it gives is AMAZING! My daughter is always asking me to use it on her hair as well! It’s easy to use, it does have a slight weight to it but I think that’s necessary with the design.

I have had mine for over 5 years and it’s still just as perfect as say one! No chipping or damage! I love it it’s super affordable for all budgets!.

This tool is perfect for beachy waves! I’m a big fan of the natural grungy/rockstar hair style from the 90s and this tool helps me achieve that in such a short amount of time. I have bleached ends and I tend to avoid using the Deep Waver on them because it gets so hot.

My hair is naturally straight and I’m far too lazy to spend 40 minutes curling all my hair. The Deep Waver allows me to achieve some volume and style in less than 10 minutes! Mousse and styling products can be used to make the waves more pronounced, but I prefer the relaxed wave look.

I have used this jumbo waver a few times as I recently received it. The waves, unfortunately, do not hold well in my hair. I used it at around 310 degrees F, but tried lower settings, where the waves were a little too subtle for me.

However, the next day, all the waves had fallen out, and my hair looked semi-straight. My hair is wavy, medium-long, and medium textured (on the finer side). I like the style, and size of the waves that this waver makes, but they also fell out of the back of my hair the second time I used the waver.

I typically like products/tools where I can style my hair very quickly since I am often in a rush in the morning (!) I usually use a T3 curling iron for a style in less than ten minutes. I can see how this could work if someone wanted to carefully section the hair and hold the iron for a while.

(I also have damage concerns which is why I would rather not hold the iron for a while on the hair. ) I am returning this and giving Amika’s smaller waver a try since I would like to see if it holds in my hair.

Btw, I received a returned item it seems, as the box was open and missing some packaging, but had no mechanical issues with it, as opposed to some other reviewers.

I bought the jumbo waver within a day of it being released. I was so excited. Beach hair? Everyday? That’s dream hair. It creates perfect waves, lots of volume, and it really does look like you’ve just spent a day in the ocean and under the sun.

It’s a little tricky to first figure out how to use, as it’s a bit heavy – it took watching a couple googled videos and a few tries to get the hang of it. Also, very good that it comes with different heat settings: the starting setting won’t wave anything.

It needs to be a good bit hotter. Five seconds is also not long enough, I have fine straight hair that takes curl easily, and I have to count to ten to get that perfect wave. But when all is said and done, I love this tool, I use it almost every time I’m styling my hair, and I’m delighted I bought it! It honestly gives you dream hair!.

I’ve been using the Amika Jumbo High Tide Deep Waver for the last week or so. and I’m honestly so impressed with this product. It gives just the right amount of wave to give those perfect beach curls, and can be used in a variety of different ways to achieve different curl styles and looks.

It heats up quickly, and is super easy to use. It doesn’t leave indentions in your hair which I love, and it also comes with a hand glove for burn prevention. The cord isn’t one of those annoying ones that gets tangled up in your way when your trying to do your hair.

Very luxurious quality and sleek style. Absolutely hands down 10/10 recommend.

I love the color! But overall it’s just- ok. I have been using “wavers” since crimping was cool in the 80s. But, I have to hold this on my hair FOREVER to get waves, and they don’t hold nearly as well as the other wavers I have.

The placement of the on/off and temp controls are terrible. I always hit them by accident. It’s SO HEAVY. I have a ton of long hair and have to take breaks. Carpal tunnel? Tennis elbow? I would definitely choose a different one.

I am very happy with this purchase. My hair is thick and silky and it worked to the effect of what it promises. I used normal hairspray from the drug store and it keeps the wave nicely! Just for an idea of when you’ll receive the item: I bought my item on june 19th.

It was part of the june 22nd preorder and it was shipped on june 25th. I recieved it July 10th with all that’s going on in the world I felt that was great timing considering how delayed postage is. Great product.

I haven’t tried any other products like it so I have nothing to compare it to. The company really does well with sticking to its mermaid theme even with shipping. The wand gets very hot as promised.

I just bought this because my high end one tragically broke, and this was the closest substitute at the store. like literally, the only one with deep pockets that came close, to give unusual depth and direction to your beach-wavy hair.

The price I paid, was literally a 1/4 of the price if my broken one, and it had a nice firm grip holder, and felt like it securely fastened for a nice tight seal, so no hair escaped during my styling.

It was honestly, way quicker than the more expensive version, cheaper by far, and honestly wasn’t too hot or too cool. seemed to be good temperature to get the waves to set, without over heating the hair, or not having enough heat, and watching your curls fall, unwind, and straighten.

I really didn’t expect much out if such an affordable product, but was quite surprised at the results. I only wish that it got a tad bit hotter, because it did seem to take a bit longer to do my hair with this one, versus my ultra fancy (now broken one).

Also, if me quick pro-tip. I held the multi-waver upside down when heating my strands for every other strand to give a different direction/dimension to the way my hair fell. My pet peeve, is when all of the curls go into the same direction.

I’m not gonna lie, it’s a little hard getting used to, because the multi waiver itself is kind of bulky and fat in the hand, so contorting your wrist to upside down, felt weird, and the device itself was a bit heavy, especially if you’re holding your arm up for a while, trying to style your difficult to take/press curls.

Honestly, I’d buy it again, and I let my teenager loose with it, and she liked it too; and even better than the old one that we replaced with this one. Glad I bought it!.

I have pretty thick hair and it’s cute but it’s very time consuming on my medium length hair. it takes about an hour or longer. my tips are to NOT use it on freshly washed hair it works better on 2nd or 3rd day hair.

Split your hair in 2 or 3 parts before you use it, it makes it much more even and it’s easier. For me I never found it to be hard to use but it is a little heavy and can get tiring on your arms. I’ve never used it without heat protection so I don’t know if it could damage your hair but I usually use it on the second to highest setting for tighter waves.

I think it’s worth the buy but watch some YouTube tutorials first so you can see what the waves look like cause I don’t think the style is what I expected at least. it’s more crimped than wave but still cute just not what I thought.

I really like this, especially for my shorter hair. I have a lot of hair and thick hair. This didn’t take me too long to do my whole head. The range in temp settings was awesome! The cons are that it is big and bulks and it doesn’t lock, it is more like a flat iron in the sense that you need to hold it shut.

This gets annoying quickly. I have short hair and I can’t imagine anyone with longer hair being happy using this. I’ve only tried the 4th setting and I really like it. I bought it because it was on sale.

If it wasn’t on sale, I don’t know if I would keep it.

I love the big barrel but this just doesn’t create a curl that a clamping curling iron or rotating barrel w/ brush produces. The deep waver is a cool feature but it’s not the reason I bought this particular iron.

I’ve tried different tricks and products but the other iron versions work better for beachy curls. My first wand really should’ve been something far less expensive than this so, if you haven’t used a wand before, I say try something less expensive first.

I’m keeping it for the wave, which isn’t something I do that often.

The large barrel curling wand does not hold a curl at all. My hair holds curls very easily normally, I even have a different regular curling wand from Nume which holds curls fabulously. This one barely curled at all and then dropped completely in an hour leaving my hair flat and limp.

I used all the same hair products I usually do and never had an issue with those. I don’t recommend this. Not sure if the clamp curls would be any different, haven’t tried it.

This tool is amazing for achieving those Bohemian-style, mermaid waves! It does a great job at giving your hand a nice, big body wave as well when you lock it and use it as a wand. However, I wish that the barrel was a bit longer like other Nume wands.

I find that if you’re using it on longer hair, you have to wrap your hair around itself on the barrel instead of being able to wrap the full length of your hair *down* the barrel, if that makes sense.

So, it’s almost like not all your hair will actually touch the wand if it’s over a certain length. It still works well as a wand though. I just find that I use it more as a waver for this reason! I’d repurchase and recommend that others buy it themselves! I’d give it a solid 4/5 overall.

Let me start off by saying the hair styling gene skipped me. Beyond sleeping with my hair in braids with varying degrees of success, I’ve never mastered the beautiful waves of my dreams! Until I tried this Bed Head waver, that is! It is super easy to use, like foolproof.

My hair is really thin but I have a good amount of it, and I can do my entire head in 10-15 minutes. Normally, curls don’t last 2 hours in my hair even after like a whole can of hairspray, but somehow with this waver, the waves can actually last for days with just a heat protectant and the tiniest amount of hair spray.

They just look even more natural as they relax further. And my hair becomes so shiny when I use this, too! It’s amazing. I can’t believe I paid less than $20 for this. I use it at least a couple times a month.

Kind of obsessed with the beachy vibe (and volume!) I get from this curl! The barrels are a little smaller than expected but I have shoulder length hair, so I think it actually works better for me. The iron has high heat settings and is ready in sseconds.

Really pleased with this purchase! And shipping was super fast (with a lovely hand written note!).
