20 Best Wax For Armpits (2022 Updated)

This was my first at home waxing experience, and the sugar wax was so easy to use. It smells lovely and cleans up really easily compared to salon wax. Was really impressed. The strips clean up in hot water in an instant.

I saw this on tik tok and was excited as I’ve used sugar wax before (both bought and made myself). This was the worst wax I’ve ever used. I followed their instructions on their site and most of the time, the flicking did not pull the wax off all the way, it would reach points where I had entire globs of wax still on me (thank god it dissolves in water because it was stuck all over my legs and on hairs in my bikini area).

I also have bruising today in spots from it and I have never experienced this in any of the waxes I’ve gotten at a spa or done at home. I’m really disappointed because I was very excited after seeing it on tik tok but this was a terrible waste of money for me.

I did not want to leave one star but after I woke up with bruising on my legs and bikini lines, I felt I had to. I would have thought this was user error but I have waxed myself plenty of times with hard wax beads and sugar wax.

I also noticed in areas where I was able to successfully flick the wax, there was a lot of hair left behind as well and this was with wax that I had just pulled out of the container.

I am Egyptian and was taught since I was very young how to make sugaring past at home. I have a lot of experience sugaring and I never bought sugar wax cause I thought why buy what I can make so easily at home.

but I wanted to treat myself for my wedding day to salon quality wax. And when I tell you THIS IS THE BEST SUGAR WAX I HAVE EVER USED. I can tell it is salon quality compared to what I have made before.

There formula is worth the price and is so easy to use and versatile I recommend this for beginners. The scrub was also amazing and in the ingredients it has Hawaiian beach sand and real strawberries which was so cool to me.

I will be ordering this from now on when I want to take care of myself.

I bought this yesterday and wanted to try it. Ive used sally beauty but it was too rough for the bikini area. So i asked my room mate to help with the bikini area. I tell you the pain isnt as bad as i thought it would be.

It smells amazing and removes the hair and less messy you can just wash it with water or ise a wipe if you make a mess and it will go right offf. Did i mention it smells good and very moisturising my skin felt soft after waxing.

I didnt react to it and im hairlessss!!!!.

I’ve not had much success with waxes before. Too sticky. Not sticky enough. You know the drill. But lockdown needs had to be met and I read other reviews on this and thought I’d try. Gave myself a mini self spa on a Saturday afternoon and I have to say this is the best and easiest home wax ever.

I used on my bikini line and it was perfect. (I might add that my standards aren’t that high! It just needed to be tidier!) but this was a breeze to use. Now I’ve got the rest of the tub to use the salon can wait a while.

Bought this last weekend when it was on offer at half price £5. 33 I think can’t be too exact. saw it a while ago and kept putting it off, not really had the best luck with waxing at home. So when I finally built my self up to using it.

I was soooo please with the results it actually worked without burning myself or giving up half way like I have done in the past. This wax isn’t as messy as other wax. I did make a mess being it was the first time using it.

but it washed off with simply hot water unlike other wax where oil is necessary. I didn’t heat it up too much because I didn’t want a disaster in my microwave. but it does need reheating a few times as the runny it is the easier it is to smooth onto skin and get better waxing results.

That was so far or my legs and arms no problems at all. Next I went on to the bikini. that was easy enough to do too. but the whole of it was a lot harder but it was due to never having done the whole process myself.

So I made a mess right at the beginning but that was soon sorted with a quick hot wipe down and restarted. Before I go on I’d like you mention i am a very big girl and the muffin top makes it harder to wax down there by yourself hence the little difficulty I faced at the beginning.

It seemed like I wasn’t going to be able to wax when I started but once I figured out a method a really bizarre one lol but it worked and was done in no time. The tub may not seem big but it definitely will last.

veet also provide a few wax sheets which I didn’t expect which is more than handy and a stick to apply the wax with. All in all I did my arms my legs the whole of my bikini. mine, my sisters and mums upper lip and I hardly made a dent in the wax.

Sorry one last thing. if you have a sister friend or relative who can do it for you it actually will probably perform better if they know how wax. if not its do able even if you have spare tires around your waist like me 😛 Will definitely re buying when I start to run out but most likely when half price again.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I no longer pay for eyebrow waxes and solely use this product. It comes with strips that are pressed together and you pull apart. While the strips are pressed together I cut them into quarters, which allows me to get 8 strips out of 2, and gives me the ability to create a more detailed look.

When you leave the product in it’s full strip form, I find they are a little to large and boxy for a nice rounded brow, but great for in between brows. I place the strip as close to my brow as possible, and then pluck the hairs that I miss so that I’m not left with any bald patches.

For the best wax, I put pressure on the whole waxed area of the strip, pull the skin taute, and remove the wax against the direction of growth. It does come with a small vial of wax removing oil that works excellently to free the skin of any remaining wax (though very little remains).

The price is around 8-10$ where I am located, and I get at least 5 brow waxes out of a box, so at the very least I’m saving 15$. I highly recommend this product, it is easy to use and clean up. A great addition to the box would be brow stencils to ensure customers could get the shape they’re looking for.

Because COVID I haven’t been to my waxing spot, so figured I’d try on my lower legs. My lower leg hair is thick but patchy and curly. I had my partner help me for the back of my legs because I couldn’t quite get a good grip.

We warmed up the strips under our arms and rubbed between hands. Took off almost all the hair, I was able to tweeze the few strays which is usually my experience. I’ll be using these from now on! So much cheaper and way more convenient than my mom’s wax heating kit.

I buy this brand for over 20 years. Over time, something changed in this wax’s formula making it extremely sticky. Even the color is different, it used to be a light brown, and now is kind of greenish.

So much so, I had to dig the (just) discarded wax from my trash can and mix it with the new one so I can use it. It was still a bit sticky, probably removed two layers of skin because it did hurt for a week.

I like Pharmapacks and I buy many products this company sells, but I wish Surgi wax would switch to its old formula.

You have to know what you’re doing!!! This product works great but it’s definitely a skill. Yes it freaking hurts!! Get over it no point in blaming the manufacturer. Yanking out thousands of hairs from the roots hurts.

And no one has any business waxing the “lips” if you’re not a seasoned pro. The less fat you have on an area the more it HURTS. It drips, you have to do it on an old towel. Dust the area with powder it’ll be easier.

The booty area barely hurts at all ( more fat). But I’ve been waxing myself for 15 years and I still panic if I do the lips and it sticks. And it hurts so freaking bad you’ll sweat buckets and possibly cry.

So if you’re a novice heat until completely melted and hot. But let cool for a couple minutes. Then stick to just the bikini line and don’t delve into the inner region just yet. Once you lay on a thin layer of about 1/2 inch wide to 3 inches long pat into skin after a few seconds , wait til it doesn’t come off on your finger.

It’ll stick just to the bikini line after a couple seconds. Pat down gently to really adhere to hairs. Then don’t by any means let it get hard and dry or you will have one heck of a time getting it off.

I know it’s tempting to wait because you’re freaked out but as soon as it’s really on and tacky to touch and doesn’t come off on fingers gently pull up the bottom flick a little until you get a good grasp.

Then YANK it up!!! For the love of God don’t wait you can’t woos out!!! The quicker you do it the less it hurts please believe me!!!! If you woos out it really does hurt way more trying to flick up the wax one hair at a time.

Not like I haven’t been in tears doing that, sweat pouring down my back. And when it cools too much it doesn’t stick the same way. But you can reuse wax that doesn’t have a ton of hairs on it. I’ve reused wax plenty but just once.

I wouldn’t do it repeatedly. The results are beautiful and so soft if you do it right and it takes PRACTICE and so much cheaper than a salon. BTW I still don’t do much”lip” area. It’s very painful and just the other day I couldn’t pull it off fast enough and it stuck and it took a while to get off.

You have to pull that skin very taut and it still is VERY hard to get off the lips. I just wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a very high pain tolerance, you really know what you’re doing and you have fine hairs there.

The closer you get to the”inside” the more it HURTS. Take my word for it.

This is my favorite waxing product. I love the ease of use and how it removes everything quickly. I apply a thin layer one way and another layer the other way to get a good tight grip on the hair to be removed.

If you want the wax to get harder faster and cut down on the time of use; just use a little bit of ice after applying. Happy Waxing!.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Doesn’t work at all, made a mess everywhere and only took 2-3 hair out. It doesn’t stick to the hair and comes off in bits, not as one clean pull like in the salons. I tried spreading a thick layer, thin layer, small area, larger area.

and no difference. Complete waste.

I am learning to use. At the maximum level, very hot wax. Doesn’t burn, but hot. The wax itself is serviceable, the equipment corresponds to the description of the goods. So far I’m happy with the set I bought.

Wow! After using regular waxing strips from drugstores when I first started waxing I found it extremely weak never completely removing the hair if any which made it barely different to shaving. So I resort to going to salons which can become expensive.

With this kit it has everything you could possibly need and it’s so cheap. So easy to use and quick, comfortably in my own home. Haven’t reacted badly to it so will repurchase the waxes when it runs out which will probably not be too long (genetics).

Oh my days considering veet are known for being the daddy of waxing products, honestly, I expected an awful lot more from them. Unfortunately I feel so let down by the brand. They’re similar to other brands on the market which yield the same result.

Personally, I find them extremely painful to whip off even when making the perfect tear. I have tried every type of veets waxing strips and cant get along with any. My worst experience was with the ones designed for intimate areas as they left me bruised😭 It could be me not being able to get the art of waxing, but I have to give an honest review based on my personal experiences.

I’ve always liked this paraffin but it’s gotten expensive. I used to buy one for $6 now it’s almost double. One is never enough, I need 4 packs to fill the machine and 1 use daily, or every other day …… and it lasts for only a few weeks, if not less.

So that’s close to $100 a month on paraffin. That’s too much for me. It’s a great product tho… it has great smell and it doesn’t leave my hands dry. Especially eucalyptus. 3 stars because of the size and price.

This GiGi Brazilian Body Hard Wax from Sally Beauty was pleasantly surprising! As a long time user of GiGi products I can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner. Though I swear by their all purpose honey, I really think Brazilian Body Hard Wax wins it for me.
