20 Best Wax For Melts (2022 Updated)

I never thought I’d like a fragrance called Wood Smoke. It’s not something that generally appeals to me. However, being able to smell wood smoke without all the actual smoke made it work. It really does smell like the fireplace is going.

Which is rather soothing on these now cold nights. My best friend would absolutely love this smell. The wax itself is very high quality. It melted very quickly and continues to permeate a very powerful fragrance use after use.

I’ve used it several times and am still getting plenty of enjoyment out of one little block.

Warm Woods Trilogy wax melts are a perfectly paired up trilogy. With three different wax melts in one package, vanilla bean , caramel and biscotti are all different stars in the same show. I have used each scent separately and each one is easy to take out have nice long lasting scent to them.

You can also mix and match the three Warm Woods Trilogy wax melts together if your wax warmer is big enough. Vanilla bean is light and warm but smells like ice cream and caramel smells like warm brown sugar and caramel.

Biscotti smells like cookies and something else I can’t quite describe. This product gives you all the bakery, coffee shop vibes and I love it.

I am a sucker for the smell of a fresh cut Christmas tree, but generally find the items on the market to have so many other scents mixed in that it doesn’t smell just right. I was ecstatic when I came across these 3oz Wax Melts in Frasier Fir.

These smelled just like the Christmas tree I had at home. This made the room smell like I had a field of Frasier Firs growing in my family room. I have these in the wax warmer from the time I wake up until I go to bed.

The smell brings me back to when I was a little girl and makes me so happy. I will always have plenty of these on hand for the holidays. If you love for your house to smell like a fir tree this time of year run out and buy some of these.

The only con is that I wish I could also find this in candle form!!.

These tiny wax squares are worth it! The scent reminds me of my trip to Tahiti. It smells beautiful. Even though these are tiny the scent fills up the room. I tested it by putting a big candle on top of my warmer and it doesn’t smell as strong as these wax melts.

I thought buying a bigger candle might give me the same quality where I get more for my money. I was wrong these melts are strong enough to go through two rooms and you can even smell from outside. I found the best deals on these at Walmart.

This is my favorite wax melt scent. It smells so fresh,tropical, and creamy. Not only does it smell delicious the smell is very strong and fills up my whole room and you can even smell it in the hallway and it’s only it’s $2 at Walmart.

Picked this up today and it smells AMAZING! It has very homey smell too it. I always use 2 little blocks and the scent lasts quite some time before refilling!

I had this on my “hmm. maybe” list forever because I was a little hesitant to spend money on a scent for my home that I hadn’t sampled in person before. I am so glad I finally gave in because this scent is JUST LOVELY.

Seems to last longer than other brands, too. We keep wax burners on in two to three rooms pretty much full-time during the day, so I’m usually changing them out pretty frequently. I have had the same wax in three of the burners for several days now and they are still going strong.

I am now waiting for it to be available again so I can stock up. Love it!.

Wow! These were amazing. Enjoy wax melts. Enjoy fresh, fruity scents!! These did not disappoint. Says burn 2 or 3. I threw in 5. Scent was bright and refreshing and lasted several days. Very pleased; especially buying them online without smelling them (like in a store).

And the fact that these were the cutest bears. Some mis-shapen and headless, but the scent was more important.

I looked at the reviews for this product on happy wax before I purchased it on zulily, it’s a little stronger than I thought it would be, but it’s still a great scent, but won’t be using many bears at one time.

It will be great for the winter time.

The Better Homes and Gardens warm rustic woods is a great scent, both in the packaging and on the warmer. The scent is perfect for fall, but can be used any season. The scent is strong and it makes you feel like you’re taking a stroll in the woods.

These wax cubes are so long lasting, you can use them multiple times and it’s still just as strong as when you pulled them out of the package. I personally use these wax cubes in my bedroom or bathroom and they work nicely.

I do recommend this item!.

This scent smelled like a cheap grandma’s perfume. I have nothing against grandmas because I am one but I expected more of an earthy, woodsy smell. I think that sometimes vanilla is used in too many scents, and it takes away from the outdoorsy scent profile especially in woodsy scents.

I purchased BHG’s Frazier fir and that really smells like fir trees and I recommend t if you like an authentic woodsy scent.

A lovely smell of rose, not at all ugly or artificial You can buy this beautiful smelling spray in the grocery store for 97 cents! I tried it once, and thought I usually don’t like the aroma options of Glade, this smelled heavenly to me.

searching in stores in Cheyenne — all where it could be available, from WalMart to the grocery stores, it could not be found by me again — thus, attempting to buy it online, the only offer that came up with multiple cans to buy as an option, was this one.

Thus, I paid three times the amount at which it can be bought in grocery stores here in Cheyenne — but I know, that with the economy such as it is, EVERYTHING is going to go up in price, thus, as I wanted to use it judiciously, and have more than 1 can of it, I went for this “bargain.

” It smells just beautiful —- usually, rose-smelling items, including candles, potpourri, etc. smell like some kind of fake rendition of rosees — but this one is a lovely smell. Glade did a great job with this aroma.

I recommend it if you can even get it! I think the lovely smell has definitely been discovered, big-time!.

Let me start this review off by saying I’ve got wax warmers in most areas of my home lol. We’ve got 2 children, 4 dogs, and 10 chickens (outside) so our home can hold a variety of unpleasant scents. That being said I really love scents that eliminates bad odors and also are lasting without being very overpowering.

These Glade Linen wax cubes are super great. Very affordable at $2 for multiple cubes. The cubes are also made different then most in the way they don’t require you to break the wax to force it out of the container.

So as long as you go with the Glade brand there’s no crumbs of wax flaking to clean (or getting under nails whenever breaking cubes). So I’d definitely recommend these without issues! 🌼 🌼.

These plug ins are fabulous. They are very scentful. I keep one in every room in my home. They last for weeks at a time before having to change them out. Glade has a huge selection to choose from and they aren’t expensive at all.

This smells amazing. There is a sweet after smell mixed with the fir. I purchased the plastic Reusable Wax Warmer Liner in regular and large and I can melt all day long with no mess. I purchased my first warmer from Candle Warmer from another site and then I decided to look up the company online.

I almost always ended up throwing them in the trash because they were too strong, or just smelled awful to the point of making me gag. I had just about given up, and hadn’t bought any in a long time.

I liked Harry Slatkin’s melts, but the scent I wanted was no longer available, which is how I found these. I was hesitant until I read the review’s, and I thought “citrus sugar”, and “lemon sugar” sounded real interesting! Then I got really excited reading how much people liked them and the smell of them, and I figured “why not”, I can always send them back! Well, OMG!!! These melts are AMAZING!! I absolutely love citrus scents and both of these rank high in my favorites list. I’ve bought several of the Candle Warmer sets currently featured here and this one is my favorite so far. I’ve found most of the sets have one good and one bad, but these are both winners in my opinion.

They’re just lovely, sweet citrus scents, there is a bit of tartness but like drinking a very sweet lemonade or orangeade, they have none of that lemon cleaning product type fragrance. Both performed very well, I like strong scents that last, and I was very happy with these.

Just melted my Sugared Citrus for the first time. It has a delicious sugary cirtus with a hint of pineapple. It isn’t overly lemony but it smells fresh, clean and airy. It is a new favorite in our househeld!.

I love anything and everything pumpkin scented so I couldn’t wait to try these wax melts. When first putting them in our wax burner, you can smell it really well but unfortunately the scent don’t last well at all.

Usually I can re-use the wax in my melter for a few days when I shut it off / on. Not with these I had to refill them each time. Great scent, but wish it would last longer than it does.

Until this one. It smells like super heated Fireballs that’s been soaked in liquid Allspice. If you’re looking for a festive, kind of spicy scent, pick up their pumpkin woods line!.

Love using wax melts in my home to make sure my house ALWAYS smells nice. It truly is the first thing any guest brings up when first coming into my home. I have used room sprays, all brands oil plug ins, automatic sprayers, diffusers, etc.

You name it I have tried it, and the BEST thing I have tried are the wax melts and electric warmers. So many different scents available to choose from at Walmart with the Better Home and Garden brand.

I have a few favorites that I consistently get, this being one. A nice way to make your rooms smell so good. just place a wax warmer in each room and pick the scent you like and let it do its job all day.

Wonderful scent! Has a touch of spice, a hint of apple and pumpkin, a little fall leaves, and just a smidgen of musk. I think this is a nice,y neutral scent that works well for those looking for a scent that’s neither “manly” nor “feminine” but just pleasant and fresh!.

These candle melts smell so wonderful. I really love the fragrance. Only bad thing is the smell doesn’t last long but that’s okay I still love the smell.

Smells very fresh and tropical. I think I’ve found my go to fragrance for the summer. One cube last up to 7 days if heated for 3 hours a day.

Normally I’m not a fan of floral scents but this fragrance is amazing. It’s soft, full and sweet. I burn about four packs at once to get the effect that I want otherwise I probably wouldn’t be able to smell it.

It fills the whole room and continues to release fragrance till the fire goes out on the tea light candle. This is definitely a repurchase for me.

I bought several packs of White Peony based on the great reviews. And was so disappointed – there is barely any scent! I tried a cube from a different pack with the same result 🙁 I suspect it has to do with changing to the soy wax formula? I appreciate natural wax, I won’t buy anything else, but if there’s no fragrance, what’s the point? Returning these isn’t worth the postage, so I’m burning them in my Edison burner; this lamp gives a nice ambience and if there’s no scent to go with, oh well.

I used to love these and they were my favorite of all types and brands of wax or liquid fragrances. This scent actually became the “signature” scent of my home and everyone loved coming in and smelling the lemon-vanilla fragrance of something cooking.

However, the quality seems to have diminished. The fragrance doesn’t last as long or smell as potent as it once did. For the price of a pack of these, it’s no longer worth it and I have found other scents similar but better and more affordable.

Shame because this was a stellar product at one time.

Went to a friend’s home and once inside, the air smelled beautiful and lively. In asking what the scent in the air was, they described the Iced Lemon Sugar Cookie wax melts. We ordered the set, and now we have the same scent in our home.

Glade. a house hold name brand I will continue to purchase. I really enjoy the plugin’s and the various scents. New and older ones. I have the Automatic sprayer, plug in. fresh linen, Sage/ thyme and The Christmas scents are so worth it.

This is my favorite fall wax melt. Every October I use this scent because of its richness and long lasting aroma. It reaches all 3 floors of my house and lasts a long time. They’re very affordable, long lasting and extremely fragrant.

I don’t smell the bourbon too much in this scent, but the bergamot is very noticeable. If you don’t like bergamot, you wouldn’t like this.

I forgot all about the sorbet that Dillards sold years ago. I randomly searched and it is still there! I was happy they had the melts, I previously only used the potpourri. This smell is so Spring, clean and refreshing.

The melts do not last long so I bought the oil to drop in.

My husband got me these because he knows I love candles and wax melts and they were also the first christmasy item to make an appearance at the store shelves and I didn’t like them. I usually get my wax melts from bath body works or scentsational brand in walmart which is cheaper than yankee by a dollar but definately beat this.

I usually place 2 tabs on my wax warmer and they last about 3 days with the first day always being the strongest and smell it almost instantly but with these let’s just say I thought my warmer broke or the bulb even went out because I could not smell it all I even left my house for 20 minutes thinking maybe the smell was already in my nose so I’m not smelling it.

Nope opened the door my house smelled like house my neighbor’s (4 houses) down cooking smelled stronger.

I love these as melting wax, they crumble easily in your hand which helps so you don’t need to use a whole one in a small oil burner. I also use them for when a 3 wick candle is burning uneven, I’ll crumble it over the lower spot to even things up.

If you try this only add a little at a time. My favorite use for them is in my drawers.

Use the wax melts in all of my electrical name brand large and small that uses a light bulb to melt wax. Last just as long as the one’s I buy from the representative. They are less pricey than the other brand I use.

This is one of my favorite sense! Its fresh soapy smell is relaxing and a comfort! E I have read that it doesn’t hold its sent for very long, but it does. It just depends on what kind of warmer you are using.

The reason I only rated this three stars is because I was going to order six of these, and then found out that I couldn’t have them delivered. What’s the point of having Walmart plus if you can’t have them delivered?.

The Better Homes Gardens line dried linen wax cubes are amazing! These are my favorite wax cube scent because it makes my house smell so fresh and clean. The scent lasts in your home even after you turn the warmer off.

I have tried all other wax cubes, even Yankee Candle and the ones from Better Homes and Gardens are the best. The scent goes through the entire house. They are half the price and 100% better than any other.

I reused them the next day and still the scent went through the entire house. Unbelievable. I only have to change it every other day. I will never buy any other brand now. Believe me, this brand wax melts are the best.

The wax melts come in a cute tin can. There are 10 teakwood & oak wax melts that look like roses. The smell is very mild and soothing. I didn’t have a wax warmer so I made a make shift one. I had a ceramic small pot with a lid and put a candle inside.

Then I used a (make shift) again pieces of a coat hanger to put the lid on and the wax melt so the candle wouldn’t burn out. You can however buy a wax warmer to use instead. I think the smell would be a lot stronger if you used a warmer.

So the scent of these is strong. PERFECT for me! Definitely a woodsy outdoorsy smell that I love. Be warned if you do not like your wax melts to emit strong scent, then you better stay away from these.

If you love strong scent that lasts, is not fake smelling and is strong, you will love these. As I do!.

This is the very first time I’ve used wax melts. This scent is perfect. It has a fresh, fruity smell. Not a strong perfume smell. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the scent did start to fade after about a week.

I’m not sure how long the scent normally lasts.

The unique blend of grapefruit and honey is perfect! The scent is not at all overpowering yet still pleasantly noticeable. The wax melts do not lose their scent with repeated re-warming, so they are really affordable for the price per use!.

I can not say enough about Bridgewater candles. They are my absolute favorite! The scents are amazing and the names of the scents are so comforting. I get compliments every time I am burning one.
