20 Best Wayans Brothers Movies (2022 Updated)

Never get tired of this show after years it still has me laughing like it’s the first time going through.

The Wayans Brothers TV show was simply one of the best of its time without a question. It has always kept my friends and I laughing each and every episode. The comedy is by far some of the best, both Shawn and Marlon have great brotherly chemistry.

Both of them along with amazing supporting cast members such as Pops and Dee really make the show one of a kind. I really hope that Warner Bros. will release the rest of the seasons it really is upsetting that there is the only one great season of the show available for purchase, when there is still four more season that can be made available.

I am positive that there would be a great number of sales as well. You can never go wrong with The Wayans Bros.

Great Entertainment esp if my 1oyr old son approves, is laughing and quoting from the scenes!! It’s tough to get him away from anything computer and when he came across “the wayans bros” tv show on ‘YouTube’ this is all he could talk about.

I gave my son the 1st Season as a gift and he loved it!! Then I saw some old re-runs in Syndication on TV and found that they had more than one season. my son would definitely have me buying out all the seasons IF they were available!! Can’t understand why they’re not being sold already.

It’s a clean cut show that makes my son laugh. and what parent doesn’t like to hear their child laugh?.

“The Wayans Bros. ” is not like your everyday sitcom; this is funny. It follows the exploits of Shawn and Marlon Williams and their father, Pops. This DVD set contains all 13 episodes from season 1, including episodes like Afro Cab (the brothers start a cab service), I’m Too Sexy For My Brother (Shawn and Marlon become models), and Brazilla vs.

Rodney (Marlon becomes a children’s character). All are very good and deserve a view. Overall, this series was very underappreciated in its time. Here’s hoping the brothers find some love on DVD.

After waiting 12 and a half years for this to FINALLY come out, this season was worth the wait. Every minute of every episode was just pure gut busting. This is a show that is definitely worth the price.

I already watched it 3 time. All the way through. Come on Warner Archive. Let’s see the third season be released. Soon!.

I have loved the Wayans since the 90’s! I need this DVD in my collection! Marlon and Damon are my faves! But Shawn is the sexiest!!!

For the most part, I’ve found this to be 1 of the much more better seasons overall. As a matter of fact, not only season 4; but, from seasons 2-5. Although season 1 does have its moments as well. Overall, I’d say that both Marlon aka Marlon Wayans & Pops aka John Witherspoon are the most hilarious out of all the other characters!.

I ordered all seasons of the Wayans Bros and am very pleased with their show .

Very intense and beautiful movie! It deals with real life in the hood and I can not picture any other actors to play as four brothers.

Have always enjoyed the movie “4 Brothers” and so when i saw it at Best Buy with such an affordable price i thought GREAT, add it to the collection. It’s about 4 adopted brothers who come together to avenge the killing of their foster mother.

Family unity (even among those not genetically related) in a rightful cause is something we need to see more of.

Before leaving on his second tour in Afghanistan, Marine Captain Sam Cahill, a leader, an athlete, a good husband and father, welcomes his screw-up brother Tommy home from prison. He’d robbed a bank.

I saw this movie previewed and had to have it. I was a bit disappointed. Didnt feel that it was as interesting as I thought it would be. But it is still a good movie. (: Dvd was pre owned but still in very good condition.

Happily adding to my movie collection.

Didn’t know what to expect. Very intense plot. Good actors. Jake and Toby are a great, believable duo. Not used to seeing Jake in this type of role but glad I watched it. Even happier that I own it to watch anytime I choose.

The Blues Brothers is a true classic movie, one of the few SNL movies that is actually a good story. Joliet Jake is recently released from prison and picked up by his brother Elwood. The two discover that the orphanage they grew up in is going to be sold to the Board of Education unless they can raise $5,000 to give to the State Assesors office.

The Blues Brothers try to get the money by putting their band back together and doing a few gigs. Along the way, they anger the Illinois State Police, the Illinois Nazi Party, the owner of Bob’s Country Bunker, and a band from Nashville, the Good Ole Boys.

This movie is great from beginning to end. The musical numbers are all great including Jake’s revelation in the church, Ray Charles singing Shake Your Tail Feather, Aretha Franklin singing in her soul food diner, the peformance in Bob’s Country Bunker, and finally the concert at the end including two of their best songs.

As well, there is action galore from Elwood jumping a bridge with their 1974 Dodge Sedan to their chaotic ride through a crowded mall to the police chase at the end through the streets of Chicago( especially Lower Wacker Drive) and the chase up the staircase to the Assessor’s office.

The Blues Brothers has something for everybody and should not be missed. The Blues Brothers are played to perfection by John Belushi as Jake and Dan Aykroyd as Elwood. The two actors are hysterical together throughout as they anger just about everybody in the city of Chicago.

There are far too many lines to mention, but it is obvious that they had fun making this movie. There are plenty of musical cameos also including Cab Calloway, James Brown as a preacher, Aretha Franklin as the owner of a Soul Food diner, Ray Charles as the owner of music store, and John Lee Hooker as a street peformer on Maxwell Street.

The film also stars Carrie Fisher, John Candy, Kathleen Freeman, Henry Gibson, and many more. Also look out for a very funny cameo by Frank Oz and a short appearance by Steven Spielberg. Also worth mentioning is the Blues Brothers band including Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Donald “Duck” Dunn, Murphy Dunne, “Blue Lou” Marini, Tom “Bones” Malone, Steve “The Colonel” Cropper, Alan Rubin, and Willy “Two Bits” Hall.

The Collector’s Edition DVD offers widescreen presentation, the original theatrical trailer, a making of documentary with interviews with the cast and crew, and footage not seen since the original release in 1980.

This is a great movie that all viewers will find something to like in it. Do not miss this classic!.

Absolutely fabulous movie! It’s hilarious and crazy! John Belushi and Dan Akroyd as Jake and Elwood deliver a fast-moving, nothing-you-would-expect-to-happen film. Total thumbs up!! It’s a keeper, because you’ll want to watch it again!.

In short i have been a Audio Videophile for a long time. I have a Home theater systems that has been custom built and have done installs for others. I have a strong back round in sound and video. So in saying that i can tell you this Blu ray set is beyond demo worthy material.

The story is captivating start to finish. You really get drawn in and become a part of the story. The video is 5 out of 5 starts as every minute of the entire story is crisp with detail and colors are perfect to their environments.

The gritty and pale colors of the battle torn scenes to the greens and browns of the country side is perfect in very way. Got a TV you want to show off , this set is the go to. Audio is in a league of its own as well.

Every channel is in use all the time and the mix is enveloping on such a scale you swear its happening right there in your viewing room. LFE is brutal and hits hard when its needed and even the softer scenes carry clarity and detail.

In short this is a must have box set. 5 out 5.

I have always loved this series since I first laid my eyes on it. I have wanted to re-watch it for so long. Years. I finally decided to look it up on eBay and boom. I received it extremely fast and even introduced my fianc to it.

She cried (like I knew she would) and laughed. This has to be the most amazing, breath taking, gut wrenching, and soul crushing war miniseries. The fact that some of the members of the actual Band of Brothers were in it gave it so much more reality to it.

The film is produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, Band of Brothers is a ten-part miniseries based on the book Band of Brothers: E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne From Normandy to Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest by Stephen E.

Ambrose. The series dramatically re-creates the path of Easy Company, an elite paratrooper unit, from their basic training at Camp Toccoa in Georgia in 1942, to D-Day, to their critical involvement in the through their triumph at the close of the War.

It’s a must see!.

This is the last war the United States actually won. There was no tied hands for the soldiers. The country was all in together. No Protests from anti war people. We have tirants just as bad as Hitler maybe worse with ISIS be heading people and murdering Christian and Jew children just because they aren’t Muslim.

Yet this current president thinks its not so bad. 1930s all over again. Making deals with Iran who still chants Death to America, If only the USA had the love of freedom and the resolve this great generation had.

My grandfather fought in the war as well as 2 of my uncles. These men did what they had to no mater what. Our military today would be the same if not for liberal politics today tying their hands, My daughter joined the Marines.

I fear for her. Unless our president gets some political payback he leaves them sit. This president made a big deal getting Bau Bergdhall released from Afghanistan. First of the man deserted his post and went looking for the Talaban.

So this president releases 5 of the worst terrorists from Gitmo (because he wants to close it down and empty it out) so he tried to make Bird dog a hero. Thank God for other media besides the main stream because the mainstream media does all the covering for his president.

Currently there is about 18 months left before he is gone. e is doing so much damage I pray we make it. I apologize for turinig this political but every time I have watched this movie. and think of them.

Then think of what we have now. It just makes me sick. This is the best war movie ever. Watch especially the DVD on the battle oof the bulge. Brakes your heart.

I’m not from a military family but I am interested in WW2. I usually stick to documentaries but thought I would give this a look. As best as I can tell, the equipment and uniforms are spot on and the set pieces as well.

With no experience to compare it to the action sequences seem very realistic and sensible. The Blu-ray has great video and audio and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it to any and all who are even the slightest bit interested in WW2.

The series is based on the book “Band of Brothers” written by the late Stephen Ambrose. When I read the book a few years ago I just couldn’t put it down. It is without question the best book on WW II I have ever read; and this made for TV series, “Band of Brothers”, does not disappoint.

Each segment is simply outstanding. From basic training, to the drop into Normandy, to Holland, to the Battle of the Bulge, and finally to Hitler’s Eagles Nest. Just for the record, despite what the below reviewer states (1 star); the book and this series are right on the money historically.

I’m not sure what historical facts the fellow below is referring to because the Book “is based on the first hand account interviews” with the very solders that did the fighting. Interesting how some guy who wasn’t there seems to feel he has a more historically accurate understanding of the events then the men who where actually there.

This series does not glorify war nor does it offer and arrogant boastful image of the American solder. What it does offer is an inside view of the tremendous sacrifice these men made for all of us. Most of these men were citizen soldiers.

Some where from poor backgrounds, some from more affluent backgrounds. Some with high school educations, some with Ivy League educations. In fact one member of the 101st was an all-American catcher and football player for UCLA, who played in the 1943 Rose Bowl.

Nothing is sugar coated. The series depicts both great victories and missteps encountered by the 101st in their fight. I found the depiction of the training prior to the Normandy drop to be particularly interesting.

It leaves the viewer asking themselves if they themselves could have endured the training and physical demands imposed by the CO’s. The acting is superb, the story line is excellent, and each series creates a very accurate portrayal of the book.

I strongly recommend this series, however I would recommend reading the book first. Simply an excellent book and series. There is also an added bonus; “We Stand Alone Together, The Men of Easy Company”.

This is a 120 minute Documentary with the men of Easy. It offers interesting interviews, insight and vintage footage of the men.

I originally saw Band Of Brothers on TV and was blown away by such a magnificent production. Easy Company led by Major Dick Winters – excellent casting for a great story of this band of heroes. I am glad to be able to watch it again on DVD.

Engrossing tale about a pioneering unit of paratrooper infantry chronicling their struggle with not only their enemy, but just as much with limited field intelligence, inept and unfit commanding officers, supply shortages and combat stress.

Brilliantly written and superbly executed.

These are four of Denzel’s best! I was looking for a copy of ‘The Pelican Brief’ when I happened upon this item. I didn’t have a copy of ‘Training Day’, though I had seen it and really liked it. I had never seen ‘Fallen’ ever! Probably wouldn’t have ever bought it; but because it was included I watched it.

LOVED IT! Already had John Q. Still this set was a BARGAIN! Costs less than most copies of ‘The Pelican Brief’ offered. Want a bargain? Want to see some great Denzel? This set will fulfill both desires.

Excellent boxset. All 4 movies were great. Denzel Washington a great actor and his movies are always very engaging. All 4 of these movies are worth watching.

I thought it was a great deal for this portable printer that I will taking with me on my business trips starting this month. I always have a problem at hotels that printers don’t work or can’t get access to, this will be a valuable printer for my business.

It really is an impressive technical achievement to produce a seemingly live-action version of the Lion King, and the digital version for your home theater is technically up to the task. But the best live-action version of the Lion King is the Broadway play.

Artistically, rending the animals as seemingly real animals singing is not an improvement over the original animated version. Completionists may want this, but everyone else should seek out either the original or the Broadway musical.

Lion king was my favorite Disney movie the moment it came out. This is cute as live action goes. I hoped it would do the original animated justice and they did pretty good. I think they college done a little better but still cute.

The DVD came in original wrapping in perfect condition and less than half the price as the department store (Wal-Mart). Ty so much. It will be enjoyed by both my baby and I.

It took out my favorite scenes! No Mr. pig scene and no Hulu dance scene. They went for a more realistic look on the lions and didn’t really work out. More cartoon characteristics would have helped. There’s also more then that one scene missing.

I wasn’t impressed with the new one at all.

If you want a film that has it all, look no further than this! Absolutely one of the best movies I’ve ever had the pleasure of viewing. beautifully crafted and photographed, perfect casting, lavish sets, amazing effects, comedy, romance, spectacle and ACTION; this beauty has it all and then some.

I picked it up on DVD and was amazed how good the audio and visual content was; it plays as well as most Blu’s, clarity is top notch, and the subtitles are accurate, well defined, and very easy to read.

An impressive film on all counts, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!.

I thought it sounded better in Telugu, but as i only understand English, the Hindi-dubbed version was just fine too. This movie has action, romance, treachery, intrigue, tragedy, music, dancing and some magnificent scenery.

One of the action scenes was too much to be believed (even by Bollywood/Tollywood standards), but other than that, I would and have been recommending this movie to others.

cons. Wishing i could swim at a waterfall like in this cinema. I inquired where this waterfall is, and discovered the filmmakers combined many real waterfalls to appear as this one spectacular one. sigh such beauty and strength of character.

This review is for the new 1:85 Widescreen DVD. It is awesome to see this film finally framed correctly! This makes the transfer much clearer than the original pan and scan DVD. Large enough of an improvement to replace your original DVD, with 2 different commentaries too.

A cult classic whilst being very entertaining

This film gets a lot of negative reviews but it’s fantastic. I first saw this when I was pretty small so my taste in film was not developed. However, since I’m becoming nostalgic, I bought this for the cost of renting it and it’s wild, wacky and nothing really like Super Mario except with it’s allusions.

Besides Tank Girl, I can’t think of too many film that were this wacky and based on media that was seen as low brow at the time. If you haven’t seen this, but you are curious, come at it with an open mind.

I think there is something here that’s more about how we interpret games and the culture of escapism which the game is all about escaping the real world, rather than a faithful adaptation to the source material.

The “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” to “Blade Runner” version of a game.

Another movie from our childhood that we introduced to the kids. They LOVED it and actually sat until the end. If you haven’t seen this movie it isn’t a cannon precursor to the games but it is fun. Yoshi is in it so win.

As a child of the 80’s/90’s, I was of course a big Nintendo fan and loved Super Mario Brothers. So when this movie came out, I HAD to go see it and I dragged my father to the theater to go see it. Watching the movie now, I owe my father a sincere apology haha.

While the set design and costumes are all amazing and homaging a lot of Blade Runner, the story and acting in this movie is just broken and, at times, hard to watch. If you’re a fan of 90’s schlock films and grew up as a kid of the 90’s and have some nostalgia for the movie, then this is worth picking up.

You really can’t beat the price and it’s a fun movie to throw on late at night with friends to poke fun at.

Season 5 continues the plots from last season and characters actually grow as people. Full of twists and turns, you’ll thrill as so much of the back story of this universe gets filled in, allegiances shift, and Doc goes on vacation! I know the last one doesn’t sound great but trust me Spanakopita! is probably the best episode in the season.

If you love the Venture Bros. get this, watch this, and then watch all of the other seasons so you can suddenly realize they just keep building. For example want to know where Shoreleave got the Birdman costume? That’s in Season 3.

The first movie actually didnt work but he made it more than right! Buy buying a brand new one ( serious upgrade) with 4 movies on it and had it shipped to us and wouldnt let us pay him for shipping the second time or anything! David is a awesome guy!.

I was skeptical at first about the content of the movie. because I was purchasing this for my two boys, ages 10 and 7. So I watched it with them the first time to “screen it”. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t as much bad language as I had figured.

however, there were some hints to some adult type situations, however, it was cleverly disguised where young people may not even catch on. My boys were more tickled by watching this little fella run around and do the funny things he did rather than the occasional adult content.

It wasn’t as bad as I had figred actually. It was funny and wasn’t overly silly. My boys have watched it numerous times already and we have only had it a couple of days!.

A man, who is anxious to be a father, mistakes an extremely short-statured, baby-faced criminal on-the-lam, to be his newly adopted son. Marlon, Shawn, and Keenon Ivory Wayans are at it again in the new comedy, Little Man.

I laughed at the Wayanses’ movie, it’s so funny.

This is one of the finest TV series ever made. It is way more than a war story, it is about humans at their best and worst in the most difficult, and at times most horrifying, possible situations. Yes there is lots of violence and blood, but it is never gratuitous, it is needed in order to make the audience (most of us having never been in combat) understand what these guys went through.

It also happens to be one of the greatest treatises on leadership and management I have ever seen. Every episode has at least one lesson about what a leader/manager should do and should not do to get the most out of their organization — in this case, an airborne infantry company in WWII.

I believe this series should be used as a teaching tool in every management school in the country. Every management approach is represented, both competent and incompetent. Quiet leading by example and loud screaming/abuse.

Kiss up/Kick down and protecting your people at all costs, even your own safety. Watch this series all the way through while teasing out the lessons it is teaching, and you should be able to see some things a little more clearly in your own work situation, and if you are the boss, to maybe be a little better at your job.

Most of us aren’t old enough to remember WWII and how it changed how we lived our lives today. The narrative of this series was backed up by those who are still alive to tell their compelling story at the beginning of each chapter and what they went through to defend our country from Fascism and oppression.

The movies and documentaries of today embellish or fabricate the stories of WWII, but I found this series completely different. There’s nothing pretty or glamorous about war. The events these survivors told us about didn’t need to embellish what happened because it was the God’s honest truth.

Yes, it was horrid, and brutal and the saddest stain on our humanity right down to the chapter where the soldiers find an abandoned Jewish prison encampment. This series reminds us we should never forget how close the world came to living under an Autocratic rule and what our fallen heros went through to defend those freedoms so many of us take for granted.

A definite must see and a cherished addition to any movie collection. Never forget!.

The movie is based upon the book by Stephen Ambrose and is depicted in a 10 part mini-series produced by HBO and Executive Producers Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. The mini-series follows the lives of the men of Easy Company of the 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of the US Army from basic training, thru jump school, their initial deployment to England, and their subsequent jumps and combat experiences from D Day thru VE Day.

The final part of the series also covers their personal experiences in Europe up until VJ Day and their discharge from active service. The mini-series provides its audiences with the reasons why our service veterans of WW II are often referred to as “Our Country’s Greatest Generation.

” The collective experiences of their personal service, bravery, sacrifice, brotherhood and dedication to duty all of which were performed while under some of the most difficult circumstances that mankind has ever endured speaks volumes as to the character and commitment of these citizen soldiers.

The movies production, directing, acting, scenery, props and sound were also excellent. Definitely a must have for anyone who enjoys history and War movies.

I have always loved this movie, and am so glad I got this copy. I have already watched it twice. Once with my friend who I’ve needed to hangout with for a long time, and once with a girl I have just started dating.

With the friend we had really good conversation before and after the movie (not during), and I put my arm around my date. She is way out of my league, so I think this movie was the main contributor to this happening.

I am really excited about this new relationship. Like I don’t know the qualifications of what makes a girl “the one,” but like I am pretty sure she is. I am just really excited. But yeah, the movie is great.

(*** out of ****) A nearly perfect movie. I adored the literary smatterings used like Herman Melville and Charles Dickens as well as Greek mythology and hints of Arsene Lupin. It is a definite must-see for fans of Adrian Brody.

His character is the one we most sympathize with, other than the engaging and eccentric Penelope, who has been shut-up in her estate for most of her life due to allergies (thanks to overprotective parents).

Retelling of Rapunzel anyone ? I myself adored this movie and would have to watch it again to view all the symbolocism and even Biblical likenesses it takes upon. It’s a globe-trotting adventure that is positively magnificent.

The ending is even a happy one, which is what we wish for Bloom (Adrian Brody) all along even after all the deceit, backstabbing and lies he has been through. A film very reminiscent of Inglorious Basterds or more recently, RED.

Definitely worth a watch and more like film noir and classic films of the 40s and 50s with its music choices and camera angles.

Its a truly rare thing to come across a movie as original, entertaining and quirky as The Brothers Bloom. It tells the story of two brothers/con-artists, Stephen and Bloom, and their expedition to pull off the perfect con.

This movie has all the elements that, when combined, create a fantastic work of art. The acting on the part of Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz, Mark Ruffalo, and the silent but deadly, Rinko Kikuchi, is absolutely wonderful and each character is perfectly portrayed with their own likeable traits that make you fall in love with them.

The humor is no rare item in this movie as there are many scenes spread throughout the film that will give you a real reason to LOL. The story is fantastically told through the eyes of writer and director, Rian Johnson, who you may know for creating the award-winning film, Brick.

The Brothers Bloom is one of the most inventive and original films that I have seen in a long time and its definitely something that will keep you thinking about it even after its over. As far as con-men films go, none stick out more in my D.
