20 Best Weapons Persona 5 (2022 Updated)

As a newcomer to the series I had a fantastic time with Persona 5 Royal. This enhanced version of Persona 5 has enough extra story, characters, and features that I think it’s clearly the best version of the game to play.

Especially now that you can get it for less than $60 (although I paid the full amount and was still satisfied). Persona prides itself on its style, and the appealing artwork and characters, funky music and overall groovy attitude do not disappoint.

Every minute spent playing this game just makes me feel like a cooler person. The gameplay almost feels like an afterthought to just what a flashy and enjoyable atmosphere it provides. The gameplay was fine too, especially the social features.

Making friends and getting to know people feels better in Persona than in any RPG I’ve played. I especially appreciated that some of the characters you can spend time with are adults, which you almost never see in this genre.

As a crochety old 20-something myself, it was a breath of fresh air. Everyone is really well-written and voice-acted, and especially during the pandemic it was great to get to hang out with people for a change.

Persona 5 is absolutely worth a try if you enjoy turn-based JRPGs and high-school style anime. If you’ve already played the original it’s probably still worth it if you grab it on sale.

I’ll preface this review by claiming this game is JRPG nirvana. It’s the perfect Persona game for people that have never played a game in the series to jump into and fall in love with. Every character is expertly written and voice acted.

The music is the perfect blend of acid jazz meets hard rock. The game oozes style from the intro all the way until the end credits. The story elicits emotion from one extreme to the opposite. It’s an unforgettable adventure that will have you wrapped around its finger for at least 100 hours if you care to do all the side content.

Persona 5 was wonderful and Royal is more of that and then some. It’s the perfect love letter from Atlus to the fans and newcomers of the entire series. If you enjoy JRPG games then this will undoubtedly disappoint.

Haven’t played a Persona game since #3 but all the glowing reviews of this one (especially the Royal Edition) made me take a deeper look. The gameplay remains similar to what I recall from P3 as well as the overarching theme of building your team through relationships and empowering your Personas.

The whole process seems thoroughly refined and, without having played the “base game” of P5, I can’t adequately explain the differences between the versions. But I’m 20 hours in and perfectly satisfied with how my character is being molded and the party members are fleshing out, slowly but surely! A little slow to get started but addictive and managing your time wisely becomes a careful gamble of risk and reward! I can easily see this soaking up 100 hours or more, making it a great value as far as $ value is concerned! Even moreso, I’m not a huge fan of anime (western-style RPG’s are usually my preference) but the game is wonderfully stylistic and doesn’t get overly “anime-y” with the sometimes obnoxious character design/voiceovers, which is a plus for me personally.

Definitely recommend, and will update the review as I get further in! A great deal at $30!.

One of my favorite Switch games and a great continuation of the P5 story. The opening scene had so much lovely nostalgia in it, which is funny because I’m still playing Royal after finishing vanilla Persona 5, so there really wasn’t a reason for me to feel like I miss the Phantom Thieves, but that’s a testament to how good the atory snd characters are.

They make you feel like you really are reuniting with friends after a long absence. Zenkichi is an awesome addition to the team and such a great character with a fun, unique Persona and skill set that makes passing the baton and controlling him it’s own interesting challenge and I’ve enjoyed playing as Zenkichi as much as I do playing as Joker.

The cooking and Bond level mechanics feel like a natural extension of the main game and I really like getting to explore areas, find recipes and have soecial little side mission requests for the other Phantom Thieves.

I really can’t say enough good things about this game. It helps that Persona 5/R is one of my all time favorite video games and really reinvigorated my gaming life, where I’d taken a long break from JRPGs infavor of hack and slash, Western RPG and FPS games for quite a long time.

Persona reminded me of what I love about the genre and made me revisit old favorites like FFX and Dragon Quest. I highly reccomend this game to anyone though, not just Persona, JRPG or Musou style game fans.

The characters, art direction, soundtrack and combat are all top tier and the friendship between the Phantom Thieves and the character growth they undergo in the story is well worth your time.

Persona 5 Strikers is excellent. This is in every respect a worthy sequel to 2017’s worldwide hit, Persona 5. While being developed by Koei Tecmo and diverging from the mainline turn-based combat in favor of the musuo-dynasty warriors style action combat, it manages to feel entirely familiar and new all at once.

(5 hours in) and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time with it — being back with the beloved Phantom Thieves on a brand new adventure feels, well. like coming home. The soundtrack carries some new tunes that are just as excellent as P5’s brilliant score, and some returning tracks are a nice touch.

The voice actors return to reprise their respective roles for each character and this is very, very good. Some of the best voice acting in the video game industry here, and it shows. My only issue is that, on the Switch anyways, sometimes the voice acted lines drop in volume and the music drowns them out — it’s an odd occurrence and is certainly distracting, but it’s not too frequent to be a huge problem.

I’m hoping that will be fixed in a future patch. Otherwise, everything here feels authentically Persona in the best way. In fact, if someone told me P Studio made this, I might have believed them. The recreations of LeBlanc cafe and the Phantom Thieves hideout in the main protagonists upstairs room, the bustling city on Main Street, etc – it all looks exactly as it did in P5.

The story so far is interesting and does exactly what it needs to in order to create a reason for the Phantoms to jump back into the action. The inclusion of the new character Sophia is welcome – she’s funny and endearing and I’ve enjoyed her addition to the crew.

As mentioned at the beginning, though, this story is a direct sequel to P5 vanilla – so no return of Kasumi or Dr. Maruki from Royal as that is not considered canon. In terms of gameplay, while you still carry on walking around town and the like talking with your crew and NPC’s and buying items from shops, there is no social sim bonding.

The more I’ve played, the more I miss this aspect of gameplay as it’s always been my biggest draw to the Persona games and is what sets them apart in many respects from most other JRPG’s. Despite this, the heavy emphasis on narrative and character dialogue is still present here much like it was in P5.

The combat reminds me of both Final Fantasy VII Remake and FFXV in that you are fighting in real time, but pausing/slowing down time to select from a side menu special attacks — in Strikers you do this by hitting R trigger to summon your persona and select from their attacks, as well as can pause the action to select restorative items.

You can a switch to your other team mates by hitting the directional pad which works as this games version of baton pass. There’s many more intricacies and much more depth here, but suffice it to say that it feels both familiar and refreshingly new at the same time to both be playing an action RPG version of Persona while retaining some turn-based menu aspects of the mainline series.

Dungeon crawling feels mostly reminiscent of P5’s palaces. Gimmicks and minor puzzles abound here that block your progress. Plenty of enemies to hide and ambush or go all out on. Some shifting perspectives (where it will transition from 3rd person behind the back to an almost 2D side scrolling perspective.

There’s tons of stuff going on, the combat is mostly fluid and strategic (albeit it at times a bit chaotic), and it all feels very good. I’m very interested in the story Strikers has presented me with.

Coming back to the Phantom Thieves feels great. And the changes in combat for this title are welcome after plying through P5 and P5: Royal, I’m okay taking a break from strict turn-based combat. So glad this game was finally localized for the west!!!!.

Presentation and story-wise the game 100% feels like a sequel to Persona 5. There was a sense of familiarity as the game started and all the familiar characters (and some locations) appeared. The story of this character is definitely reminiscent of persona 5, but it has its own interesting twist and turns.

A big plus in this story is that the characters keep all their character development from the first game (which is something that sequels can fail at) and apply that to the new situations they find themselves in.

The new characters in this game are also top tier and fit very well in the persona 5 world (I prefer them to the new Royal characters). The big differences in this game are that the social link system is gone, and the combat is not turn-based.

My big worry for this game was the combat, but I ended up greatly enjoying it. It keeps the weakness system as Persona 5(pausing time to cast with persona), but with real time melee, gun, and combo attacks.

It can be a more spammy than the original combat and the post-game is extremely grindy, but during the story I found it to be fun and even challenging. If you want more of the Phantom Thieves, you definitely need Persona 5 Strikers.

This game is so cute and great. I knew it would be. Didn’t get it when it came out but just got it as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She loves it. The special edition came with a cool plush of the dog and other cool stuff.

Very fun game that most Persona or SMT fans would enjoy. It has a compelling, yet sometimes repetitive story and the gameplay loop, characters, writing, and combat are all a joy to play.

Been a huge fan of DRPGs since the Etrian Odyssey series and been tracking down other gems in the genre (e. g. Labyrinth of Refrain, SMT Soul Hackers and Strange Journey, heck even newer releases like Advent Crossroad for Steam PC).

I finally got around to Persona Q recently. Out of all the DRPGs I’ve tried, Persona Q comes closest to the Etrian Odyssey series, being also made by Atlus with the same engine and all. Pros: – Draw your own maps exactly like in EO, a feature many DRPGs don’t have – Similar intermediate crafting system as EO (equipment made from enemy drops and farming spots items) – Build a team with characters from a large roster consisting of Persona 3 and 4 characters – In lieu of classes and skill tree system, characters can access different Personas and sub-Personas for different skills Cons: – Lots of filler bantering between characters.

Recommended to at least read the basic bio for them if you haven’t played either Persona 3 or 4 yet – Even with the boost system for costless skill attacks after exploiting enemy weakness, team’s SP runs out quickly on dungeon runs Overall, I’m looking forward to finishing the last bits of the game and getting Persona Q2 as well, which I heard has some improvements.

If you dig Persona 3 and 4 as well as Etrian Odyssey, you should definitely check this out.

This game is a fantastic display of how the teams behind Persona and Etrian Odyssey can make a game which hardcore fans of both series can enjoy. The style and motif of the musical pieces is very reminiscent of both Persona’s 3 and 4 and there are a number of references scattered throughout the game with nods to other Atlus titles and the Etrian Odyssey series as a whole.

The game isn’t too long or frustrating and the challenge is ideal for beginners without dampening the challenge for those people that have a bit more experience with the play-style of a Persona game.

The art-style and aesthetics of the game are bright and attractive to look at. It doesn’t exactly scream ‘Persona’ at me, but it’s a nice change of pace from the otherwise serious tone behind games in the series like Persona 3.

The humour in this game is also a very interesting way of conveying narrative i nthe story. It’s non-intrusive, always a pleasure to listen to and it only adds to the experience, I will say, however, that the humour in the characters does make them appear rather 2-dimensional.

This is especially prevalent in Teddie (Kuma) who, if you recall from Persona 4, often tried to ‘score with the hot stuff’ and it is especially developed in this game to the point where every part of his dialogue results in him getting rejected after he’s tried to score with any of the girls.

in this series. This can get a bit frustrating after a while, but the humour itself is very enjoyable to listen to as the other characters exchange thoughts and opinions on things between each other.

It’s very nice to listen to all the characters interacting with each other in this game, much as I’d hoped to see more of from P4 Arena UltimaxOverall, the game is very inviting to both beginner gamers and expert gamers, the challenge is ideal, the musical pieces are fantastic, the humour is, well.

humourous and the replay value can have this game sinking hundreds of hours into your life. This game is definitely worth a look at if you are wanting to get into the Persona series as a whole.

Persona Q is a dungeon turn base role playing game. The game itself has good graphics and good story. I recommend this to fans of persona series and players who have time to grind. It’s a fusion of characters of both P3 fes and P4 with the gameplay exactly like the etryian series by atlus.

Unfortunately you have to waste your hours to grind in this game. If you are underleveled you will die in the dungeon. There is also enemies like “FOE” that can one hit you if your not careful. The puzzles in the game are kinda challenging.

The soundtrack is again amazing. The gameplay is kind of repetetive but overall you got your money’s worth.

The printing was fine and all the packaging was fine. For those of you who don’t know this manga is based of a game called persona 5. PERSONA 5 is a RPG anime game. There are two different types of the game PERSONA 5 & PERSONA 5 ROYAL, though I m not supposed to be writing a review about a game, I say that PERSONA 5 ROYAL is better.

Anyway, back to the book. It is a good book and well adapted from the game, some parts were taken out like jokers flash backs were cut short. Also the fighting scenes were short. It’s art though is really good.

They picked a good illustrator for the adaption. Also the story line is shot as well, everything happens very fast. Though if you want to read them or you haven’t played the games I do recommend! I find it funny because manga is printed in black and white, so in one bit there like where did the colour come from.

Anyway, it is a good book and if you are a fan of manga I recommended. P. S. Manga is not printed backwards, I’m saying this because I read a review once and they said that.

I am playing the game and wanted to read the manga. I didn’t know there was a manga! Now, I’m hooked!

Grandson loves the Funko and was so excited to receive it in the mail.

She’s so so cute, I bought her with sally after my second round of watching BOFURI and I love them so much! I don’t even really like nendroids but since this was the only set of figures with both of them that I could find I decided to just go for it and im happy I did.

I think everything abt her is perfect but I will say that her shield falls out of her a lot, its a minor issue, it doesn’t take away from her quality and stuff, and it will stay in it’s place if you can get it right and she’s left alone on the shelf, but its a minor annoyance, not enough to lower to rating over but just enough to note.

Ristarte is a great nendoroid. This nendo ofgoddess Ristarte of The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious aka Cautious Hero is a delight. The character is known for extreme reactions and this figure hits that bullseye.

This is a collector figure and requires caution when handling or swapping out parts, so not kid friendly. However,for a adult collector this works well for display in or out of the box.

Played the original Persona 5 and absolutely loved it. Was unsure about buying this version, but I’m so glad I did. It’s much better in nearly every single way. Story is better with the extended ending, characters are much more fleshed out than before, and a lot of plotholes have been filled in this time.

Also, the vanilla Persona 5 was designed to run on PlayStation 3 as well, whereas this game is PS4/PS4 Pro only, so the graphics received a strong upgrade, as well as the soundtrack and so many more newer animations.

Combat is also majorly improved with new features and animations. Basically, if you loved the vanilla Persona 5, then you should absolutely buy this as well; so worth it!.

This is among one of the best games I have ever played. The voice acting is charming, the art style and UI are stylish, and the characters are beyond lovable. The plot is a delightful mix of classic and unique, and while it can feel predictable, the ways in which you get to the ‘twists’ make it worth it.

The biggest problem is that the writing is contradictory at times. The story will use a character to make a point about the world or the rest of the plot and then proceed to hypocritically go against whatever moral they set out to show earlier with the same character.

However, the entertainment value of the game mostly puts this at the back of your mind whilst playing, and makes up for it with its positive qualities.

So this game was talked about when it released but I aways check things out after to see if they are really good. All I can say is that this game was engrossing. I thought I wouldn’t like a game that had high school in it, but it’s amazingly in depth.

Combat is turn based but it allows for a multitude of ways to mix and combine the skills of your party. The boss fights are also creative. The story is really interesting. You live during the day as a high schooler.

Who knew school would be this fun. It certainly wasn’t when I was in high school. The story beads for the other portion of the game are also intriguing and not predictable. I would recommend this to anyone who likes JRPG’s and doesn’t mind dropping 100 hours easily to not just complete, but to experience the world created in Persona 5.

First of all, this version is basically obsolete with Royal out, but for how cheap it is (I got it for $11!) and for how long it is (100 hours!!), you’re seeing tremendous value. Even then, you can always buy this version and buy Royal later depending on how you felt about this game.

And for the game itself, it’s one of the best RPGs of this era. This game is oozing in style, making turn-based battles less of a slog. Voice acting (for English) is on point. And the music!! Takes a while to “get it”, but once you do, it’s hard to get the tunes out of your head.

My major complaint is the pacing of the story overall. Some areas pander with your time a bit too much, and sometimes the plot is a bit too large for its own good. Some might dislike the social aspects of this game (which are heavily integrated with the game itself), but I think it’s very hard to dislike a character in this game (the protagonists, anyways).

This was my first Persona game and I’d say it was a pretty amazing experience. If you have a PS3/PS4, don’t skip on this game! Even if you’re not into anime, I’d argue this is one to at least try out.

If you’re DESPERATE for more Persona 5 content (Like I am) – then this game is a lot of fun and worth the money. Otherwise, it’s a bit tough. There’s very few songs, (around 12) and you’ll have to repeat them a lot to unlock the more content of the social links.

Other than that, there’s DLC songs, but not many and they’re quite pricey for what they are (5 pounds each). Still, I enjoy it a lot.

It really is just a rhythm game You can dress our heroes but other than that it’s pretty normal. Still a great game

I have explored some of The titles by this game company and have fell in love with each and every one of them. The persona series has to be my all time favorite. Persona 5 was a game I could not put down.

I replayed it at least 10 times. I love the aspect of living a life of a student, being able to build relationships with people, gain personas, defeat bosses and just all around kick butt all while having a talking “cat” by my side.

I felt close to the characters and related to them when it came to certain story lines and emotions. I recommend this game 100%. It’s an RPG with the perfect balance of everything needed to make an amazing game!.

Without a doubt, this is one of the greatest JRPGs to be released this generation. While the gameplay affords the player a lot of freedoms, it maintains its pace by heavily controlling the passage of time (as it follows one academic year of the protagonists school career).

The battle mechanic harks back to the days turn-based systems such as final fantasy 3-13 (having never played the original and second instalments), and is a smorgasbord of tactics and lucky escapes. The narrative and social-linking is extremely interesting and slow (in a good way) as it demands the player engages with the story and, prioritising certain relationships, builds a strong social circle of characters that eventually coalesce to take on a series of bad guys.

Building the main characters attributes will serve you, the player, well, as it not only opens doors in the narrative, but also prepares you for the second play-through, titled: New Game+. Before buying this game, it is imperative to understand that you will most likely put almost 120 hours into the first play through, and the first ten of those is significantly more linear than the remaining.

This is to settle the player into the various mechanisms within the game, so heed the loading screen and take your time. Personally, I would give this game a 98%, as perfection is completely unattainable.

However, this game comes damn close. My PS4 hasnt been on this much in years.

Pop Up Parade figures are inexpensive, but not cheap. It’s really nice. The paint job pretty nice for its simplicity (don’t expect the shading of a $100+ figure, but the gold metallic paint for the frogging and shoulder tassels are really pretty) and the pose is really dynamic.

Overall, would definitely buy again.

This model is really cool! If you like Akechi, and you aren’t super into models, you’ll probably be very satisfied with this. His pose is really cool and dynamic, and it looks great. You can see on his head a line where his two hair pieces connect, and I think mine has a very small scratch, but for $40 you really can’t go wrong.

Thanks to crunch roll, I was able to get 20% off and free shipping for this figure and another! The price of this figure is really low for what it is and the way the face is painted is spot on. Both figures arrived in perfect condition and their boxes were completely intact.

I am impressed with this blaster. It has a compact design and with the rival series, you can actually hit what you are aiming at. Keep in mind having to open the ammo door on-top is an extra step when loading the blaster after priming the spring.

Its not difficult or anything, it just takes more time if you are going to be firing a lot of rounds in quick succession. That being said, there are third-party door delete kits available on Etsy to remedy the longer reloading process.

Overall, great job Nerf.

I’m not a big Nerf guy, but these Rival guns really changed my mind. This thing is somewhat big for a pistol, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s also pretty powerful and really accurate, with nice sights so you can hit your target.

It’s easy to load and easy to prime, and it’s just loads of fun to shoot.

Works as it should, nice starter Nerf Rival blaster. Decent capacity, and a great platform for modification. I would recommend this for any person interested in Nerf, or already interested and active in Nerf.

I have never played any Persona game whatsoever and the only reason I got into the Persona series, is because of Smash Ultimate’s character addition of Joker. I have been watching videos of various Persona games.

I even watched the P4 anime and I actually loved it! It reminded me a whole lot of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (which I believe it could be the common thought it is always compared to) and it actually made me want to buy Persona 4 Golden.

I was entranced with this game, so much so, I was only going to play this for about a half an hour to see if this game was functioning or not. But it ended up with me playing the game for almost 2 and a half hours! Not only does it work, but I absolutely loved the game! I would definitely recommend this game to my family members and friends!.

This game is what introduced me to persona games. I haven’t played much since except Q and now Persona 5. Persona 4 was a whole new game for me to play. You had a social life as well as doing so many other things.

Fighting the bad guys, solving murders, it’s honestly the most fun game and also the most time consuming. However, if you are a perfectionist then you’ll want to rip your hair out because it’s hard at the same time.

It lets you look into the extreme of teenagers keeping their social life, school, and their passions. The story takes you on many turns as you play a young transfer student who makes friends very quickly.

You form bonds with them and they help you out in the game. It’s turn based once you get into battles and you can control your friends (picking their moves) so that is a plus. It’s a jam packed game like most of the persona games and it’ll take you on a wild trip.

It’s honestly a great game and if you have a Vita give it a shot.

I have never played a persona game before, but after seeing the reviews and hype surrounding the game, I thought i’d give it a try since I was looking for a good RPG game anyway and Dungeon Hunter Alliance and Ragnorok Oddessy just didn’t seem like the games for me! Persona 4 Golden doesn’t dissappoint.

From its intriguing opening cinematic to its charming soundtrack and fulfilling gameplay it is an absolute joy to play! The story starts with a JRPG/ high school anime cliche of the protagonist coming from the big city to a small town and having to acclimatise to his new surroundings and friends etc.

However thats where the similarities between this and other JRPG’s end. You’re not going to be hunting for crystals/amulets/pieces of junk that allow you to reach a place where you collect more junk to unlock a final boss.

No, you will be attempting to solve a serial murder case which, without spoiling too much, is down to you and your new group of friends. The game plays in two distinctly seperate spheres. On the one hand you’ll be going to school, shopping and meeting with friends to increase your stats and social links and on the other hand you’ll be entering the mysterious TV world where you’ll be investigating the strange circumstances surrounding the serial murders.

In the former, you will have options of how to spend your time in the ton. You can play sports, study, meet with friends all with the objective of leveling your characters stats such as Knowledge, Courage, Understanding, Expression and Diligence.

You will also try to help your friends and other NPc’s with small requests which will help you build social links, which are an important game mechanic. The latter in the investigation inside the TV world, which will have you dungeon crawling, killing shadows and fighting using your ‘Persona’ powers.

The battle system is great and progression seems to come at a fair rate. You won’t feel lost for hours and you won’t feel that it’s too easy (there are five difficulty settings you can choose from). Bringing these two spheres together is the engaging story line, told in the context of a high school anime.

The inital hour or two of gameplay is fairly linear making you feel like you’re playing an interactive anime, but once that is over the world opens up to you and you’re free to do as you please. Mix in the beautiful visuals, stylised graphics, the new game+ option and absolutely addictive soundtrack and you have yourself one of the most complete JRPG experiences on the Vita period! Also its networking facilities just add an extra layer into an already amazing package, with a total play time exceeding 100 hours (if, like me, you like to get all the trophies!).

I cannot recoommend this game more to anyone that owns a vita. If you’re not sure about it just give it a try and I’m sure you’ll find it as rewarding an experience as I have!.
