20 Best Wedding Dress Steamer (2022 Updated)

I want to give it a 5-star but the steam wasn’t continuously flowing. I would have to work the host to get the steam to flow nicely. I’m comparing this with the small hand-held travel-size steamer. I think the the smaller one do a better job if you have one or two items to tackle.

This one is better when you have a load of laundry to do, which save you time from filling the water.

Steam doesn’t come out continuously. Barely works. Have to finesse the hose to sort of get it working. More frustrating than anything. Waste of time using it.

The steamer sometimes doesnt unwrinkle my clothes however it does it job most of the time. Sometimes its just hard to use it when you use the pole to hang your clothes for steaming.

The Samsung AirDresser Grand is one of the best products that you never knew you needed. For the longest time the standard has always been to run your clothes to the dry cleaners, try not to misplace the little ticket they give you and then try to find the free time to make the stop to pick them back up before you need them again.

For me, this has been eliminated thanks to the AirDresser. First, the size. Although very tall, the actual footprint of the AirDresser is small. I had no problem getting it right into the corner of my bedroom and the fact that you barely need to leave any space at all around the AirDresser helps fit it into a small space without concern for having to leave space for ventilation.

Now onto the real use and convenience of the AirDresser. It says that this does not replace cleaning your laundry but I have already used this several times to through a piece of clothing in that I forgot to wash and it comes out smelling and feeling fresh and essentially brand new.

To me, it makes almost no noise which surprises me but is awesome as I have ran it early in the morning and don’t have to worry about it waking anyone. Something really cool is the air hangers that you place your clothing on.

Basically it’s a hanger that helps the steam and air flow through your clothes so it’s not just the outside of your clothes getting steamed. I also love how there is a slot so you can put a regular drying sheet in and get an even fresher smell.

Bonus points for the drying function as it has saved me in a pinch when I needed something more dry and it wasn’t from my main dryer.

DF60R8200DG Samsung Airdresser for over $1000 US Dollars is not inspiring confidence in Samsung Products. Almost exactly 1 Year and 1 Month into it’s use (of course, when the warranty has ended), it has an Error Code 1C1 on the LCD Display.

According to Samsung, 1C1 indicates a “The level sensor in the steam chamber is malfunctioning. ” No other information can be found on the internet about this problem, except for others complaining about the exact same issue, some only days after purchase.

–This is obviously the reason that many appliance repair professionals won’t even touch a Samsung product, making it very difficult to get a repair or parts for Samsung products: Little to no information exists.

–This isn’t the first Samsung appliance I’ve owned that failed prematurely. I had a RED-colored Samsung Front load laundry set with matching pedestals that the spider arm on the back of the tub cracked and failed after only 4 years, taking the bearings, balance ring, shocks/struts, suspension springs and outer tub out with it.

The cause of this was a cost-cutting measure by Samsung: Stainless-steel inner tub with an aluminum Spider Arm, two incompatible metals that immediately corrode when mated together. The cost to repair was far higher than the cost to purchase a new machine.

Unfortunately, I already had the red pedestals and a red dryer of which they didn’t make that color anymore. I threw away the whole set. What a shame.

I bought this steamer and after one use, it started to emit a horrible smell that was a combination of bad morning breath and stinky feet. Luckily, I reached out to Conair and they sent me a replacement! So far, there are no odors and it works perfectly.

My only complaint is the steam head is a bit heavy but otherwise, it’s great! This steamer effortlessly gets wrinkles out of all my tops and even my cashmere sweaters. I really like the feature that allows me to queue my clothes prior to steaming.

I recently purchased this steamer and have fallen in love with it. This is not my first Conair nor my first steamer but this is the BEST one yet. I am amazed at the powerful steam it produces. My knit tops are always wrinkled even right put of the dryer but this steamer has taken are of those wrinkles and it is quick to do so.

I purchased this last July. It now spits water and does not work properly. However I can’t even report an issue with it bc it says the return window has expired. So it lasted about 8 months. The stand was always very weak and leaning forward no matter how tight it was.

These things are pretty handing to have around if you wanna get those pesky wrinkles out. I know i need it because my boyfriend always waits until the last minute to find his dress clothes for our fancy events and they’re always conveniently wrinkly but this is the day saver.

use this daily – so much easier than ironing takes just a minute to heat up and start producing steam and released wrinkles so quickly and effectively! I would highly recommend this product for anyone who loves freshly pressed clothes, but hates ironing.

This little steamer machine is amazing. I can get wrinkles out of clothes while also sanitizing things like drapes and pillows. It’s so easy to use just add water and turn it on. It heats up very quickly making it easy to use when your in a hurry.

I like that it has a fabric attachment as well as everything to do clothing. You can hang up shirts ,pants ,dresses anything and get the wrinkles out without lugging out an iron and board and taking 5 minutes to iron one item.

I can do a whole pair of slacks in less than 1 minutes and I know they are also sanitary. The versatility of the machine is great especially with having a dog and children too. Its also lightweight which is great and has a long power cord do you dont have to move it as much but eith the wheels it makes it easy.

It has a lock to make sure if you want it to stay put even pulling on it won’t move it love that feature. Seems to be high quality and I feel it should last many years. It’s also not too big making storage a breeze.

I absolutely hate ironing, and in my small home setting up an ironing board in my laundry room is a task. I’ve tried other steamers before, but none ever seem to work right and always end up causing my clothing to be wet more-so than wrinkle free.

I can tell you I was very skeptical about this unit, but I was pleasantly surprised upon first use. This one is a tad bit bigger than any steamer I’ve ever used, but setup was fairly simple and easy.

Everything snapped together perfectly. The unit itself is easy to use. The water tank is a little cumbersome to fill but overall doesn’t hinder it’s use. Once on it warms up very quickly and is ready to go in just a few seconds.

It steams very well, but doesn’t spit out water causing wet spots on my clothes. My favorite thing about this unit is that it’s adjustable in height for us short people out there. The only thing that makes me give this steamer 4 stars instead of 5 is due to how hot the handle can get at times.

I hate ironing, but for some reason, I have never owned a garment steamer. I was very excited to try out my SF-562 Canister Fabric Steamer. This steamer was easy to put together, and lightweight. The water canister is so big, I am able to fill it, steam my clothes, and still have water left.

It includes a hanger, with clips, so I can hang pants, shirts, dresses, etc from it while I steam them with no problem. This steamer works well at eliminating wrinkles. It takes me seconds to get the wrinkles out of my favorite silk shirt.

I love how it refreshes clothing, giving me an extra day of wear out of a lightly worn item. I even use it to refresh my living room curtains. Storage is no problem. It doesn’t take up much room, about the same as a vacuum would, and it’s lightweight enough to be able to move it easily.

I love my Rowenta X-Cell Steam Force! Out of the box I filled the removeable water tank and in a few quick seconds it was ready to go. I have now used it on my clothing, 2 pair of curtains and I also steamed the couch in our family room – which refreshed the cushions and smoothed out the fabric.

I also steamed my wool coat, using the fabric brush attachment and it fluffed up the wool and made the coat look new. For a small handheld steamer, the 1875 watts of power and the optional turbo steam mode rival any large garment steamer.

I love my new Rowenta X-cel steam force, hand-held iron! I hate when my clothes have wrinkles, but let’s face it, who has time to get the old ironing board and iron out, everytime it’s needed! This iron has been a “game changer” for me! It heats up very quickly (within 30 seconds) and takes less than a minute to get all of the wrinkles out of an outfit.

At first I was worried it was going to leave my clothes feeling damp because of the steam, but they feel completely dry after using this iron. It also works great at getting wrinkles out of curtains, bedding, couches, etc.

and the heat/steam, also kill germs. The water tank is very easy to refill (unlike traditional irons. ) If you’re “on the fence” about buying this, just go for it, it’s 100% worth it!.

The steam force iron is useful. I love changing curtains with the seasons but I don’t love ironing them. I used this right away to steam my new curtains. It took only a few minutes to steam but it wasn’t strong enough to get out all of the fold lines.

It’s great to touch up my work clothes though. It’s not heavy when full and it’s pretty easy to use. It fine for tough up, it won’t replace my iron though. It holds enough water to get through a few garments but’s it’s difficult to see when the reservoir is empty.

I received this steamer as a gift, it works very well and is made with high quality pieces. There are more pros than cons, but one con would be it’s difficult to maneuver sometimes and the metal piece gets hot.

In the future I would look for a steamer that is a bit lighter in weight.

The quality is cool, it has helped me a lot at home. The water container lasts up to 3 garments and for me that’s a lot considering how small this steamer is! On the other side, the price is super cheap so I totally recommend you to buy it!.

Great Steamer. Putting on one of the guards and holding very close/touching the guard to the material works best. Takes a little trial and error, but works great.

Before attempting to assemble and use the Rowenta IXEO All-In-One Iron & Steamer Solution, I read the entire enclosed instructions thoroughly to familiarize myself with it. The assembly process went very smoothly.

I really enjoy this steamer, I have just gone wild with cleaning since I received it ! It’s easy to fill, the hose doesn’t get hot, and it does a great job on any fabric. I have steamed the couch, chairs, toys, stuffed animals, an old quilt that I’m afraid if I wash will fall apart, and it has performed 100% every time.

I like that you can switch between regular and delicate fabrics which is great for just about anything. I have cats dogs and horses so there is plenty of hair that gets on everything. But with the Vornado I was able to steam and wipe the furniture clean.

The hose is around 5 ft long and is great for getting in the crevices and around the furniture and the gallon tank lasted around 3 hours switching between high and low. I also used it on low to clean some leather horse tack.

It worked very well just dampening the outer layer of leather enough for me to wipe it clean and reapply oils. I also used it to clean other horse tack, blankets, boots, halters, things that you can’t put in the washer/dryer and it all looks new again! I have been able to get wrinkles out of tops that I could never get out with an iron, this is one powerful machine that does a professional job! I didn’t have a problem with it tipping over, it’s built a lot sturdier than other steamers I have used in the past.

I have yet to use any steamer that compares to this one and couldn’t be more satisfied with it.

I was so excited to get this steamer as I haven’t had one in so long! I’ve used several commercial steamers in the past and they’ve been life changing. When I received this one of the wheels was broken so it doesn’t balance correctly now and is more of an inconvenience.

I tried steaming some shirts and a dress and was not impressed with the steam quality. It seemed to work well on very simple cotton shirts but did little for more difficult fabrics. I’ve used travel steamers that work better than this.

I’ll give it another chance but overall not impressed.

I expected more based on the many 4/5 star reviews and the more expensive price. Not sure that I will keep it. I use for clothing, not drapes. My experience is: Well made; sturdy. had no issues filling water tank or working, But I read all the directions and followed them before using.

Long cord is a. It’s HEAVY! I have an arthritic hand and shoulder and this is cumbersome and tiring. Has to be held straight up to work properly so requires arms above shoulders for hanging garments.

May be a deal-breaker. Does not remove wrinkles well in natural fabrics (cotton & linen). Works best on on high steam and depletes most of water in tank must be refilled often for multiple garments. Overall, works about as well as my steam iron and takes about the same time to do an entire garment if details matter.

The person that said this is good for travel. ??? NO WAY! Its 2lb 3 oz with the cord (I weighed it) and 12″L x 7″W. That’s a chunk of your suitcase capacity/weight.

I had the older model of this same steamer and loved it but after using very consistently for 6 years it stopped working. I got this same steamer since I knew I was satisfied with the older model. I see a lot of people saying it didn’t work right out of the box.

I can say that when I first purchased this newer model, it worked the first day but the next day wouldn’t produce steam. After re-reading the user guide, I realized that this newer model calls for distilled water only.

I returned it for a replacement and have only used distilled water and it has worked fine ever since. I’m not sure if it was a coincidence or defective, or if this somehow made a difference, but I’ve been happy with it ever since.

I still recommend it.

First I need to indicate that I purchased this same model at Kohls and I wanted to submit a review on the item but the item is not longer shown on Kohls website. I will return this item to Kohls because of the following issues: 1) It was too heavy to hold for a continued period of time.

2) To fill the water reservoir, one can hold the opening under the faucet BUT the user manual states to use filtered water. So, I used a turkey baster to fill with filtered water and finally found a very small funnel with a very narrow spout to fill the reservoir.

3) One must hold the steamer at the how end of the handle because if one holds the handle close to the neck, the backflow of the steam from the garment will burn the hand.

I really like this steamer, first one I’ve owned . Gets the wrinkles out pretty good and I like that it has a hanging rack. It’s light weight, but for the price I’m happy.

We went from a little handle push the button for steam, to this. We are very satisfied. Continuous steam and it gets wrinkles out very well.

I previously bought this model elsewhere, but it was stolen during my move. I luckily found it here. The fact that I tracked down the same model proves that I think it is great! I absolutely don’t know why I used an old-fashion iron as long as I did.

I will say, though, thicker material takes a bit more time to get wrinkles out. Overall, I love this product, and don’t think it will disappoint.

So far so good for me. Nice and compact but highly effective. Hopefully it keeps working. I really like it.

This Reliable Vivio Steamer does a good job of removing wrinkles. It is solidly built and has a 1-gallon tank, which means the steam lasts a long time. It occasionally spits a few drops of water. The handle remains a comfortable temperature when steaming.

But the hose connection area near the on/off switch can get quite hot, so you need to be careful when turning the steamer off after use.

Great machine for the price. The plastic wand keeps you from scorching clothes and is easier to handle vs the metal head. Much better to work with if you are a newbie to steaming clothing.

I kept the steamer for 3 weeks and used it twice, but I was frustrated. Don’t prove me wrong, it steams your garment, but I just don’t like the fact that you can’t get any crease on your garments. In addition, it wets my garments because of the intense steam.

I am glad I returned it. This is definitely not for me. I will keep using my iron and old style of ironing my clothes.

I read one of few reviews here before purchasing this one. A seamstress recommended it, so was thinking she knows best, but the strength and quality of this steamer are not as expected. I had a cheaper one before and it worked much better.

I just bought one of these yesterday 10/31/2021 from my local Home Depot. I could have saved money by buying it online but given there are people that have given these a one star review I figured that if it is not up to my expectations I would simply return it back to Home Depot for a refund.

This is NOT going back to Home Depot. This thing is amazing. I have only used it with the small jet nozzle to get into tight restricted areas and this has already saved me a lot of time. It does exactly as described, put in the water, plug it in, turn it on and in less than ten minutes this puts out a forceful blast of steam with the pull of the trigger.

If I could give it ten stars I would. I own a lot of very expensive commercial equipment and for the most part none of the “home owner” grade of equipment impresses me. This little machine impresses me and I am not easily impressed.

Totally disappointed. My tile grout has been getting darker and I saw a video on the Wagner that was quite impressive. There’s no fill line so I had to be careful and measure the water. The nozzle was full of foam so I had to use and air can to unplug nozzle before it would work.

Then all I got was a lot of hot water with some steam. I’ve used steam cleaners before and never had to dry up all the water. I had to keep the nozzle on the grout line for about 3 minutes before I saw a tiny bit of cleaning happening.

Once the water was empty from the machine, I emptied it and packed it up to send back. I didn’t buy a hot water gun with bonus steam. I expected a high powered steam cleaner. This is not it.

I purchased this steamer mainly to steam out tablecloths for my daughter’s wedding, but certainly will use it for clothing and other pieces. Although, I have only now used the steamer on a couple of my husband’s shirts, I am assuming that I will get the same results no matter what I steam.

In three weeks several of us will be putting this Pure steamer to the test as we steam out 23 tablecloths! Time-wise, it’s going to take a while to steam out all those cloths, but overall this steamer will surely deliver.

It did a nice job on the shirts. My only complaint is that It used a 1/3 of a tank of distilled water to just steam out two men’s shirts. I am going to need several gallon jugs of distilled water to steam out the tablecloths! If I need to, I will revisit this site and give a new review after my experience with the tablecloths.

But hopefully, all will go well, just time-consuming.

I received my Puresteam XL Standing Steamer in the mail a few days ago. I was able to test it out on a dress that I had been needing to steam. From what I can tell, by only using it once, it is an excellent steamer.

It is great quality. The hose itself seems to be very sturdy which I like. I did notice that it takes little to no time for the steam to start coming out of the hose, which is great! If I had to say one thing that would need any improvement it would be the amount of water it holds.

I think if it held a bit more, I could steam more clothes without having to refill it again. With all that said, it’s an awesome steamer and I will always keep this brand in mind when looking for household products.

It would be awesome to be able to try the portable fabric steamer as well!.

I recently purchased the Purestream XL Standing Steamer. I filled the steamer water tank with distilled water, plugged it in, and in less than one minute I had steam. I tested the steamer on some silk scarves I use as photography props.

These scarves are shipped folded flat and have hard creases at the folds. The steamer quickly removed the creases with a few passes. I also tested the steamer on linen backdrops used in portrait photography.

The wrinkles quickly relaxed with the steamer making for a much smoother background. This steamer works well and is a great value.

I read the reviews before purchasing this item and the majority of people recommended it, but I have to say I was very disappointed the first time I used this steamer as it dripped on my daughters Jr bridesmaid dress.

Thankfully it dried well enough that you couldn’t really see the spots, but since it claimed to not drip I was pretty irritated. Over all it did a pretty good job at steaming out the wrinkles in the dress, although none of them were really deep set wrinkles.

I’m not to sure how well this steamer would have worked on the deeper wrinkles, but my husband used it the other day for a dress shirt and seemed to have liked the results. I think I’ll mostly use it as a fabric and furniture tool to freshen mattresses and cushions etc.

but I would only recommend this item with a stern warning as well.

Received the steamer earlier than expected. Easy to assemble but did not alert the consumer not to plug it in a place where you have many other appliances. That is what I did and I killed the steamer.

The staff at the Hamilton Beach were very attentive, explained to me that I should not have plug it where I have computers and heater plugged, But did not give me any trouble with replacing the steamer with a new one.

I have been using it and it works very good. Now and then you need to make sure that you are using the hose in an upright position, if not the machine will start making popping noises.

I only used it for a short period of time so this review is only for short term use. No clue how long this steamer will last. PROS: I love that it has five settings, low to high steam output. The cord length is generous.

I like that you can rest it up right on the counter without it tipping over. All the attachments were easy to put on and remove(I have no review about each attachment because I don’t really have need for them and tried them only for a few seconds).

CONS: I never tested how long a full tank of water would last but description said about 20 mins which seems pretty good(so id guess this should be under the pros section) but the water tank is small.

The highest setting is quite strong but won’t get stubborn wrinkles out completely. I thought since it was called turbo extreme, i was expecting miracles. The gadget(clip) at the top meant to help create creases was awkward and difficult to use and i feel it would require two people to use this feature so that you don’t burn yourself.

And the one thing that I thought was its worst quality was the weight(that’s why i gave it 4/5 stars). If you have a lot of clothes or curtains to steam I’d imagine your arm would get tired pretty quickly.

I’m a weakling so I’d probably would have looked for something lighter if i hadn’t gotten such a great discount on it and i feel the pros outweighed the heaviness of the product.

Wow, I’m so incredibly impressed with this steamer. I was looking for a steamer that was travel friendly, efficient, easy to use, and fit my budget. This steamer was perfect for all these things. AND it actually works — unlike so many others I’ve tried.

Firstly, its small and handheld, making it easy to pack in your luggage. It takes up minimal room and is compact. The ease of use makes it great for anyone to use, as all you have to do is fill the water cartridge, plug in, and turn on.

It heats up in about 15 seconds and then you’re ready to begin steaming once you see steam flowing. On a full water cartridge, I was able to steam 3 shirts, one pair of pants, and one pair of jeans that were VERY wrinkly.

I was putting this to the ultimate test, and it passed easily. My clothes were wrinkle free in under about a minute each. Having this steamer saves you from having to pull out an iron or throw your clothes in the dryer.

Lastly, the price was perfect what you’re getting. Many steamers aren’t of quality or don’t work nearly as well, but this travel steamer is literally everything I needed in a steamer. If you’re searching for travel steamer or simply a small steamer, I would recommend giving this one a try!.

This compact steamer packs a punch on wrinkles like the big bulky floor machine that you pull around but with out the inconvenience of one including storing it. Easy to use. Is fantastic with wrinkles.

Have not traveled with it yet but it’s light weight and compact. It comes with a storage bag. The cord is close to 92 inches. I’m not easily impressed with gadgets but this is worth spreading the word.

I’ve bought this compact steamer to iron out the more than several long winter coats I own and was dreading buying that large floor steamer model I used to own and decided to give this compact steamer a try and I must say it functioned exactly like a high power floor model streamer and what a gem it is to any wardrobe.

Highly recommend. The only difference between the large floor model and this is compact steamer is you will need to fill this up with water several more times but well worth it by me! This will be my to go last minute for wrinkle issues.
