20 Best Wedges For Women (2022 Updated)

These shoes are really cute and I’m quite happy with the fit. I was a little worried about ordering them on-line because sometimes I can fit a 10W and sometimes I have to go up a size or two-but I lucked out! Skechers seems to be pretty consistent with their sizing fits.

As comfy as the shoes are, these definitely lean a little more to the stylish rather than the practical side of things. The first day I wore them for a few hours while I was out doing errands and the thong between my two toes was so rough that I was left with a nasty friction burn.

I solved this by wrapping some felt velcro strips around the thong to soften and pad the strip between the toes. Since then I’ve been able to wear them all day at work and out and about and I love them.

These sandals look cute and they definitely have arch support. For me, it is taking some time to get used to that amount of arch support. I actually had the beginnings of blisters on my arches after the first day.

The footbed is pretty firm, not cushy at all. The straps are very tight. They are stretchy so they give a little but not much. Altogether, not as comfortable as I expected. I’m going to keep wearing them for short periods to see if I get used to them and they become more comfortable.

The second time I wore them was more comfortable than the first, so I’m hopeful.

This shoe could be cushioned more. But my main problem with it is that the strap closest to ankle was way too big, and some of the other straps were slightly too big. ? My feet are wide in the front, but these straps are really wide.

You’d have to have a chubby foot, not just wide for it to fit. To bad as they are pretty and I’ve been looking for shoes for a long time. IN fact my foot is widest in the front of my foot, not near the back.

It fit strangely. It felt pretty comfortable in the foot bed, but I’d appreciate more padding. But it’s going back with since the last strap is floppy.

This shoe totally exceeded my expectations. I don’t normally write reviews but this shoe really surprised me. I ordered half size up as I’m at work 12 hours a day at times. They fit perfect. Cannot believe how comfortable these are to walk in.

I just ordered another pair.

I like the shoe. The style is nice and the shoe is comfortable. I think Anne Klein makes her shoes especially for me because they fit every time I see a style and as soon as I step into them they fit and look very stylish.

I love them, they are very comfortable inside the shoe, and the rubber sole provides real “shock absorption” when walking in them.

I used to LOVE Aerosoles! I have many different styles. What I like about them for summer is the soft suede- like insole that many Aerosoles have because they’re so practical and keep your feet from getting sweaty and sticky.

However, these don’t have that and they aren’t as comfortable as other wedges by Aerosoles if you’re walking around a lot in them. But, they are still very nice and I’ve been wearing them a lot!.

Cute and oh so comfortable! Now to get used to wearing a bit of a heel since the “lockdown” I’ve been in bare feet or flat shoes. So excited when I saw this style in a great color. It was so easy to choose as I didn’t look at the entire selection from Aerosoles online.

Meh, just wasn’t as cute in person. and not as comfortable as they should be, was rubbing on my outer toes, and I never have that problem with aerosoles wedges like these. Unfortunately, had to return, wasn’t worth $100.

I was inspired to search for this shoe after recently seeing Jennifer Aniston wear this style in mystery date, and honestly have been eyeing this type of she for many years now…. I am so glad I searched Nordstrom app for them that night because they showed up fast and I honestly can’t tell you the last time I just opened and tried on a shoe and loved it.

These shoes are a classic style, well made and very comfortable. I love the light cream color and will prob buy the black and if they get a camel color in – those too! I am normally a 6. 5-7 narrow and the 6.

5 feels great. After they break in I may wish I would have bought a 6 but not too worried. Please keep this style around – it is so timeless for summer and comfortable!!! We ladies need more of this in our lives.

I often have troubles finding shoes that are comfortable as my feet have a slight bunion, are wide, and flat. I found these shoes extremely comfortable to wear and the front canvas fabric covers over most of the front part of my foot so my bunions were comfortable.

Also, the heel is just high enough to provide support unlike most flats. I recommend pulling forward the back string loop for your foot to slip through then tying around your ankle as I saw this in a YT video and it provided great ankle support.

I normally wear between a 7-7. 5 and the 7M fit great.

I love these shoes! Compliments every time I wear them. Simple, comfortable and not chunky looking. The part that goes around the heel is flexible, not stiff. They look great with both dresses and jeans.

IMO if you have a wider foot they won’t be as comfortable because they are perfect on my average foot and don’t have much give in the part that goes over the front of the foot. Will buy again.

Bought these first in 2019/2020 summe season, absolutely loved them from the moment I put my foot in. I purchased the grey and I extremely regret not buying 2 pairs in this color way immediately seeing how it’s 2022 and I’ve worn the bottoms out! Love the height and so comfortable, I wear them almost everyday in the summer and have even replaced my holy grail white flip flop with these shoes.

I’ve purchased the black on black, and oyster. I believe the quality is going downhill, the most recent pair doesn’t feel as light and walkable, the top straps cut into top of my foot and hurt my pinky toe.

The ankle strap fits completely different. These shoes are amazing if you get a quality made pair, if not then they are very pinchy. I can’t tell if the quality is a DSW thing or crocs themselves. I love my original pair, I get so many compliments.

Even wore them to crash a wedding, would recommend if you are gonna be running around lol.

These shoes are so comfortable! I wear them to parties and feel comfortable all day. I want to get them in more colors, but am waiting for them to go on sale so I can purchase more! My concern is the wear that’s starting to show towards the front of the platform.

I think it’s from bumping into things. It’s scratched and scuffed the surface and this wear doesn’t wipe away. Maybe a different material can be used for the platform that will better resist wear? I’ve also seen other folk’s reviews about the sole of this style of shoe cracking, even within the same year of purchasing.

My hope is that it will not happen to me. If it does, I will not be repurchasing these shoes, as they are supposed to last.

I suffer from RA as well as many other foot issues (pronation, collapsed arch, etc. ). I struggle to find anything that is not an athletic shoe like Hoka’s with my inserts to wear that support my feet.

I haven’t worn sandals in years. This shoe was recommended to me and I thought they were cute so I took the chance. Wow, so happy I did. They are super supportive but have a pillowy feel that molds to my foot.

I feel like I can walk in these babies for hours! They are also so easy to buckle with arthritic hands. So glad to finally have a shoe to wear with summer outfits when a sneaker just won’t do.

I have tried on many different kinds of wedge speaker boot looking shoes and had pretty much given up thinking I could find one that was cute and comfortable. I saw these in my local D&B Supply and almost didn’t even try them on, but I saw they said waterproof and just had to and I am SOOOOO glad I did! I have slightly wider than average feet and the start of bunions that make anything not wide enough excruciating.

I am a true size 8, and that’s what size I got. I even am able to wear orthotics with these! I did pull the original insoles out and replaced with my orthotics, but even with those in they still fit perfectly! I love the small heel, just enough to give my 5′ 3.

5″ frame a boost but not too tall to wear to the grocery store and still be comfy! I haven’t tried them out in the rain yet, but I am ecstatic at the idea of cute sneaker looking booties being waterproof! I am hoping they come out with more colors in these as I will probably buy more!.

I just received them and again, this will be another of my fab booties. I own a lot of the Sorel wedges booties because I just love the look for me. I am a long 10, 10. 5 narrow feet and all my Sorel booties are size 10 and fit perfectly with wiggle room for my toes.

I only buy the lace booties so I can tight up the lace for my narrow feet. I order the 9. 5 in this one base on reviews about sizing down. Glad I did, they fit perfectly, I think the size 10 would of been way too large and stay to loose on my feet.

I think you have to take into consideration the width of your feet when ordering as they tend to be bigger than the other style. Cannot wait for spring to wear these with my outfit, being white, I sure don;t want to wear in the winter with the mud outside and owning some other with waterproof one, I am not running out of option.

I have a decent amount of tennis shoes and even a few wedge styles, but these bring something new to the table. I tried them on with multiple outfits — joggers, shorts, dresses — and I feel like they elevate the look of anything I have on.

I can easily wear these to work or on the weekends and during all seasons! A great buy and very happy with my purchase. I originally bought the 8 since I have two other Sorel Joan of Arc booties that size and would consider myself to be a true size 8.

However, I did return for the 7 1/2 and they fit better. The 8s would have worked but they felt a little clunky and did rub on my ankle since they didn’t stay in place as well. So even though you’re like me and might hesitate to size down, I would recommend doing that.

Ok, I never do reviews, but I had to this time! These shoes are adorable! And, even at my ripe old age of 70, they are really comfy! Being 5’4”, I have worn a lot of higher wedge type sandals during my life, so that’s helpful.

But, I am not afraid to recommend mature women try these too! They totally took me back to my late 20’s and 30’so I took a chance and glad I did. I was pleasantly surprised! To be honest, at my age I wouldn’t wear these if I were going to be on my feet all day, but for light walking, errands, parties, or to complete that perfect outfit, they are awesome for me.

I recently purchased this shoe with all those vibrant colors I thought to myself how could I go wrong. I am not a stiletto kind of girl but I feel the need to be elevated. I have several hats that would go great with these shoes.

I received these sandals two weeks ago and they did not disappoint. I got two pairs the multicolor and the animal, the colors look exactly how pictured, vibrant, just beautiful in my opinion. The only con is the shoe runs a size smaller, I’m so glad I read the reviews prior to ordering; I order a size bigger and they fit perfect.

Cutest shoe ever, however, it is a very HARD shoe. I’m hoping I can soften them up so I’ll be able to wear them. I gave the seller 5 stars because shipping was so fast. But so far, not to thrilled with this shoe.

They are not very soft and run a little small (tight fit). They should be OK for me to wear one time!!

I ordered these wedges in the “Denim” fabric. They are super cute however, I would not say these wedges are “all day wear” as described. I normally wear a 7-1/2 Medium, and these wedges are true-to-size.

I am a bit disappointed because I have other MK Sandals which I absolutely love. I would not describe these as “sporty”, although they do have a “sporty look”, they are not as supportive as I thought they would be.

There is no arch support so, when you are walking, it feels as though my foot has nothing to grip and I almost feel like my feet will slip out of them, if I am walking fast. I feel like if there was more of a incline in the footbed, they would be more comfortable.

Also, the strap was rubbing against my toes and my skin was getting irritated only after a few minutes of wear. Everyone’s feet are different, so for some, these might be great however, these are not wedges that I, personally can wear all day for work or running around, etc.

The shoe I originally ordered didn’t come in on time so I was in a last-minute crunch to grab a gold shoe for a wedding. I’m so glad these were the ones to come in and not the others! Since I was in the bridal party, I stood on my feet for at least 5 hours in these.

All the other girls complained about their feet hurting, but not me. The heel is a block heel which helped disperse my weight evening while standing. My new motto is comfort over everything and this one was cute and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend to others, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable heel. This is it!.

These sandals are beautiful, and very comfortable, but they run one size larger than I usually wear. My mistake was not to look at the “size guide” that comes with the sandals. If I had done that, I should have realized that in these sandals I was size 6.

5, when I usually wear size 7. 5, they also run wider than the “M” size usually does. I had to measure my foot, so I could get the right size, I’m going to return them for the second time (first 7. 5 then size 7) and order a 6.

5 size, I hope I can keep them because I like them very much.

I’m very happy with these sandals. They look beautiful and they are uber comfortable. I got them in white for the summer. They can dress up a sundress, or dress down a pair of shorts and tee shirt. I usually wear a size six, but sized these down to a 5-1/2.

I also think they’re reasonably priced. A good value for the money.

These Easy Street Tuscany Sandals are the most comfortable Sandals I own. I put them on the first time and they fit perfectly width and length.

These sandals are really cute but they run really small I ordered a size 12 and I couldn’t even get my foot in it. It’s more like a size 10.5 or 11. I was very disappointed.

I bought these in the black and get so many compliments. They are super comfortable and can wear them all day without a problem. The black is more a charcoal gray with a teeny tiny sparkle to them. I will be ordering in the brown suede as well as these are hands down my new favorite pair.

I bought this shoe because I thought it would be a fun summer shoe. It’s also described as having memory foam. When the shoes arrived, the heel was much higher than I had thought. And even though it says memory foam, I wouldn’t quite describe it as that-it’s more like a soft regular insole.

Unfortunately, those shoes are heading back to the store.

I usually wear a size 7 but ordered 7-1/2 since many people said the toe box was too tight. The only problem is that 1/2 size bigger means about 1/2 inch of extra space between the back of your heel and the shoe so your shoe slips off.

However, I bought heel grippers and it seems to solve the problem although I haven’t worn them outside yet. Several years ago I bought the same shoe (different color) and while the size 7 was a little tight it wasn’t uncomfortable.

If I wanted to order another color, I would probably go with my original size 7.

I loved the rich green color, the feel of the suede, and the wedge heel, even though they looked a bit like church shoes or “old lady” shoes in person. I’m not so young, but I like to stay current. I think the bow makes them look conservative.

First, I tried the 9 (I wear 8 1/2 – 9). They were way too big. Exchanged for 8 1/2, and those were very tight around my foot in the front, though long enough. I could have probably worn the 8 1/2 if they offered Wide width, but the shoes felt stiff and uncomfortable, so maybe it’s for the best.

They are overpriced. If I spend this much on shoes. they should be very comfortable. They are a beautiful mossy green, though.

I love wedge shoes since I can’t wear high heels. These shoes are cute but not very comfortable. Bought two color, red and green, but return the green ones since it looks quite dull. Not recommend if you need to be on your feet for long hours with these shoes.

Volitile Frappacino sandals have been my favorite for many years. The quality and comfort is what makes me to keep coming back to them plus they have leather upper. A real plus. I can always find them on shoe mall.

I have these wedges in tan, black, and white now. I absolutely love them. They’re comfortable and beautiful. My only issue is with the sizing. I am a standard size 9 (40) in practically any pair of shoes (Michael Kors, Coach, Nine West, Stuart Weitzman, Sam Edelman, Vince Camuto, Tory Birch, etc.

). I’m not even a half size, but in these pumps, the 40 is just about a 1/4″ too small and the 41 is 1/2″ too big. I have to use several inserts to get them to fit properly (two ball of the foot gel pads and two back of the ankle pads).

I will say, Viscata has the best return/exchange policy though. I originally ordered these white pumps in 40 because the 41 was out and I was hoping the 40 would fit, but when they got here and were too tight, I got online, requested an exchange and received a gift card credit to use within seconds of dropping the box off at FedEx, and my new pair of shoes in the correct size will be here later this week.

Absolutely love the quality of these shoes, and highly recommend. just make sure you read the reviews of every style you’re interested in because some I wear a 40 (true to size) and some I have to size up (like this one).

I usually wear 6. 5-7, and ordered 7. It was a little big so I exchanged them for a 6. 5. Even if you have wider feet and the shoe narrows in the front, Viscata shoes/sandals are very comfortable. Unlike many leather shoes, these didn’t need much breaking in.

The heal height is just right, not too high. The exchange process was so easy. As soon as I dropped off my pair I was returning, new one was sent out. Received new pair in about 6 days. Very easy process.

Will buy other pairs in different colors.

My third pair of espadrilles from Viscata. They are superb. Best dressy shoes I own as they are fashionable and comfortable. Perfect for day wear into a night out with the girls. Love them. Soft, supportive, and did I mention adorable? I walked three miles in them.

Ok so I would have giving 5 stars but had to give 4. The shoes are so comfortable and pretty but I have a really weird shaped foot and really wide. I got the size 8. 5 double wide and when I first got them they felt perfect but after a period of time the shoe adjustes to your feet, which is also great but if I know that before I would have got a different size because they are so expensive and I have worn them for a few weeks I can’t return them for the size I know would fit like a glove.

So now I will have to wait until after Christmas to get the right size witch would be 9 wide I got the 8. 5 double wide thinking that it would be best but my heal hangs off the back not by much but just enough for me to keep adjusting my foot all day that is Annoying.

But I can deal with the Slight irritation because because for the 1st time I found shoes that will be comfortable and something I will wear all the time.

I had no idea that SAS made such cool-looking sandals! I love my Aria gladiator-style sandals for their looks and wearability: The well-camouflaged Velcro closures mean I don’t have to “buckle-in” every time I put them on (I’m not decrepit, just lazy).

These are supremely comfortable, stable, AND stylish sandals. I might be getting older, but my footwear needn’t advertise that fact!.

These are very nice comfortable shoes. My only problem is I had to go with a half size smaller and now my foot is at the end because on the 8 the leather in the back of the shoes was very baggy. It was a perfect length but would have been good loose around the ankle.

I LOVE the style of these platform shoes! They look so much more expensive. I even considered buying another pair bc these would be classic forever. Then I would have a backup Pair. The rafia look is a perfect compliment to summer outfits.

The height is comfortable too.

I’ve seen these all over social media. They say size down. I am a true size 8 in pretty much everything. I ordered and 8 and they are just a little tight across the strap. I am returning bc after wearing around on the carpet just don’t think I would enjoy wearing them for more than an hour really.

These shoes are a bit stiff at first, but once broken in are fantastic-and easily worn for a while. I have very high arches and insteps, and don’t have any issues. I even bought a second pair to have after I’ve worn these out! I did size down, as I don’t like a lot of exposed footbed behind my foot in sandals.

I have worn your Wish and your Waverly shoes for a few years now and simply adore them! My best friend always admires them and I have ordered them for her too. The only problem is I wear a size 7 and she wears a 7 1/2 both mediums, and very rarely can I find any in our sizes particularly the luggage color ones.

I wear a 6. 5N, mostly because of my narrow heel, and it’s very difficult to 6. 5 in a narrow. I love these shoes because the heel is snug, but the toe area is wide enough. The wedge provides just enough lift.

They look cute with skirts or pants. It’s definitely my go-to shoe!.

I bought these shoes for my daughter and she likes them so well I bought her several colors. Now she has the navy, red and taupe. The shoes are so comfortable she wears them all day at work where she is on her feet most of the day.

Besides that, they are really cute and trendy.

i’m usually a 9, got a 9 and it fits perfectly (no wiggle room). if they had half size i would have gotten a 9. 5. exactly like the picture. there are comments about the screws showing which. you see in the picture so there should be no surprise there.

the black is velvet which helps a little with the slipperiness but obvi they have some hight (3-3. 5inch?) not my most comfortable heels but still good for a night out/dinner. for a 30$ shoe i think it’s great- you get what you pay for!.

These gotta be the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!!!! The back gripes @ your ankle area…. I immediately kicked these killer shoes off throw in the corner and haven’t gave them a second thought!! It cost more to return them!! These shoes is NOT for the weak. I was excited to get these shoes. Upon arrival i immediately tried them on. ladies i dam near bust my ass. Your feet slide when walking in them. They are very uncomfortable.

i wear a 8 so i got a 9 the 9 was waaay to small in the front big in the back. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUY THESE. They cute tho. people saying insert some gel pads.

Okay, so technically, the straps go across the top of your feet, like in the photo, but they also work and look cute if you cross them behind your heel and then buckle. For me, they feel a bit more secure this way.

Love the look. Fit well. However one buckle bit my ankle area & made it bleed. Also had two blisters at the end of the day. This isn’t my first rodeo in platforms– uncomfortable and would love to return but I wore them.

I was so excited to get these wedges! The first pair came in, fit great! But there was a manufacturer issue with extra leather hanging on the right toe strap. So I returned them, and reordered. The next pair came in and the same thing.

Either they returned my first pair or they are selling defective products or it’s just a quality control issue. Regardless, that’s a lot of $$ to pay for a defective product so I returned the second pair as well.

So disappointed. Would love to find them somewhere else.

I almost didn’t order these shoes based on the reviews, but because they’re so cute I decided to try them out. I typically wear a 10, so I sized up to a 10. 5 but they were still kind of small so I ordered an 11 and they fit great.

The heel is so comfortable and I can wear them pain free all day. The leather is a little tight at first but once I wore them a couple times, they feel great. I don’t feel the logo rubbing on my toes as others have reported and I have slightly wide feet.

I almost didn’t purchase these shoes because of the reviews. I could see where people say it hurts your toes though. The GG logo is beautiful but because it’s big and it’s metal- it might hit your last two toes.

I think it depends on the size of your toes though. If you have skinny toes- it won’t hurt at all. If you have bigger toes- the logo will definitely hit the last two toes making it bothersome. That being said, go and try these shoes on in person and then decide for yourself.

If anything, just go up to the next size to make the toe strap more loose. I sized up (because I always do in designer shoes) and they are super comfortable on! I’m so glad that I didn’t pass up on this shoe based on reviews because I will definitely be wearing these shoes a lot! I love these wedges!.
