I own multiple suits and all of the mils that they make. They all are amazing. I dive mine every single day and I spend the majority of the day in mine. As long as you lube the suit before you get in you will have no problems.

Open cell foam is much warmer than closed cell surf suits. I had a warranty issue that came about and they sent me a new suit very quickly as well. I have worn so many brands and this is the best I’ve found for what I do.

It is a very nice suit on the bottom camouflage carefully tailored comfortable and if you are about 1. 80 height you will get a glove. I tried it at home because while I got it for winter in Greece, I couldn’t go for snorkeling.

If I see something in use I will come back with an update.

Salvimar Kromick Spearfishing 5. 5 mm is soft and flexible. Fits very well. I have not dived with it yet so can`t comment on the thermal insulation that the Q-Foam provides yet. The 3D camo colors are much better than the photos.

Not too bright. Bear in mind that the wetsuit comes with pants and not long john.

Suit fits perfectly more athletic size of people. With 5. 5mm, you can enjoy also colder water and the material still stay very comfortable and durable. The design is very unique and fits perfectly within fresh water colors.

I am using the suit almost 8months from 25 degree to 5 degree water and it is still very comfortable. Recommend for people who loves some good design and love to “disappear” under water.

This is a great product. I cannot praise it enough. The neoprene is very soft and smooth on the inside making it easy to put on just with water on the inside. The camouflage is also very well made and the Salvimar written on the back doesn’t stand out in the water.

The ends of the suit as in the hood, sleeves, end of the jacket and pants and at the ankles are very well rounded and comfortable plus they don’t fray. Overall a very good product 10/10.

I really recommend scubastore for its accuracy and its easy to use site. Regarding the product, I can not yet give an opinion because not used but in all it corresponds in all respects to what I ordered.

Excellent suit for hot water and summer temperature, especially in the Mediterranean. excellent fit, so much so that you can wear it dry since the inside is in fabric lined like the outside. flexible soft anatomic and able to guarantee a comfortable ventilation before the apnea almost as if nothing was worn.

hood and neck are not too tight and help breathing with the tube on the surface. surely excellent for fishing in the first 20 meters of water, inevitably it gets colder at deeper temperatures, but in summer you can also bear it in exchange for a comfortable catch at very high temperatures on the surface where you then warm up immediately.

Definitely the best if you are fishing inside the thermocline.

The Suit is Very good for the price. easily put on and off. does a good protection against sun, rocks, jelly fish. it is lycra, so it will be always tight to your body. i recommend to buy 1 size more than what is mentioned in the chart (and this is what i did luckily).

the only thing i didn’t like is the black part in the middle. you will look like wearing a pant over the suit 🙂 also the Beavertail closure with Velcro is bulky, hard and not comfortable. I’m thinking about change it to buttons, clips or anything else.

Actual color is a bit darker than the pictures but no complains. Very good material for the price. Good suit for warm waters. Medium would fit well if you are about 5’7″.

When it comes to wetsuits I am super fussy and spoilt. I pretty much only use custom made suits from the top wetsuit manufacturers in Europe, using the best materials available. So to go to something that was not only different, but also off the shelf was difficult.

And I must admit that I was very sceptical. I have now used the suit for a little over a month with around 12 dives in 22-27 deg C water (71-81 deg F) The first thing I noticed that the suit has less rubber than my 3mm opencell suit.

This means that you use less weights which is a good thing. It also makes the suit super stretchy so it fits really well for an off the shelf suit. The fleece lining is also amazing comfort wise. No rashes and pinching, which makes it perfect for those dive trips when you are diving all day for a week or more.

I found the suit perfect for the 22deg C and above. I know this is not very cold but I get cold very easily, and normally move over to a 5mm top when the water drops to 21 deg C and full 5mm suit below 20 deg C (68deg F).

So this is a perfect replacement for my current 3mm opencell suit. The bonus is no more soap and wetsuit rash on long dive trips. A definite thumbs up :-).

I went to the blue wild expo in search of a new wetsuit. After hours of walking around checking out all the newly available and “latest and greatest” suits, I knew I was most interested in the suit from Speared.

I had spoken to the owner of speared and some of the guys out there product testing the suit, but initially, in my head I was thinking “yeah ok, you are gonna push the suit your sponsored by” but after closely looking at the construction and quality i was pretty sold.

While checking it out they asked if I wanted to try it on. I laughed and asked him where am I supposed to do that? He replied, right here you won’t need any soap or water. Sure enough, it slipped on almost effortless.

I was sold! It fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable, stretchy and flexible in all the right areas. Once I got home and was able to try it out and get it wet I was even more confident and happy with my purchase.

In the water it’s like having on board shorts and a rash guard and isn’t restricting in movement at all. In my opinion it is a game changer when it comes to wetsuits and is well worth every penny. Great job to the guys at speared!.

Came across Speared a while back but only recently realized they sold wet suits. I was in the market for a new suit anyway so I decided to give their suits a try and I was not let down. The lining keeps me as warm or warmer than any open cell, all without needing to get the suit lubed up and wet before putting it on! I definitely was happy with that.

Just as a heads up, take the size chart with a grain of salt. I am 6’2, 175 pounds, and measure to be in a Medium suit, but found that the Medium was too small for me. I ordered a Large and it fit me perfectly, even though I didn’t meet many of the requirements.

So IMO, if you are on the high end of a size, I would size up as they seem to run more form fitting than usual. Other than that, these wet suits are great, no complaints!.

My 6th Cressi spearfishing wetsuit, the 5th at 3. 5mm for use during summer months in the Mediterranean. I’ve worn them for hundreds of dives each till they’re exhausted, i. e. overly compressed from water pressure impact.

Never has one ripped or been damaged in any way due to the strength of the materials – though my nails are always well trimmed, hands and feet, to avoid the risk of cutting into the open cell interior.

In fact, when this one arrived yesterday, I put it on at home dry without any problem, and taking it off was even easier; it’s a question of technique, how you move your body and where to pull and lift (hands and feet need to go straight through to their openings in the suit with as little contact with the internal sides as possible.

Also, avoid pulling the tail of the jacket upwards against your back with use of hand and arm behind the head to help ease it off since this will stretch the material of the tail unnaturally, but rather turn the lower end inside out all around and lift upwards towards the centre body before crossing hands over in front and raising.

This new model fits perfectly, the styling is attractive, the elasticity excellent. My neck is longer than average but there was no pressure on my head, while the fit around the face was determined but not uncomfortable.

The knee coverings are convincing against damage from rocks, and the two gun-loading chest pads are better than any of the other five suits. The only thing missing is elbow padding, which will certainly have an impact on the lifespan of the suit if a diver has regular contact with rocky surfaces while fishing – more sophisticated models deal with this problem.

Earlier versions included trousers that extended as far as the shoulders (longjohns), so I use a sleeveless neoprene undervest with these recent ones where the trousers reach only mid-body level to ensure warmth during deeper dives and multi-hour sessions – a cold torso means the rest of the body will also suffer causing frustration and discomfort if far from the point of entry into the water when no boat is available.

If you are wondering about the L size, I am chest-100 height-187 hips-90 waist-85 weight-75 arm-60 inseam-75 and the fit is perfect. Cressi suits are well suited for thinner people because the fit is tight before they stretch to size.

The quality is much higher then most other suits in this price range. I live on a remote island literally on the opposite side of the planet and I still received my package in 8 days using the cheapest shipping option.

XXL is a German size 56. Perfect fit! A great suit, keeps you really warm while staying flexible. Be very careful with the open cell neoprene. The Blacklite coating works perfectly. You won’t need soapy water to put the suit on, but always cut you nails.

Thin lycra socks help a lot. Check the inner part after usage and have some neoprene glue at hand.

I am 6’2” and 200lbs I bought the XL suit. It fits well, length is good, the waist is not loose but a L would have most likely been too tight. We’ll made suit, looking forward to getting in to the deep pool this week to try it for weights.

I’m 180cm tall weighing 77 kg bought L size ,it was a bit tight (more than usual) used soap to get in it and it flexed a little bit after a few dives. Very good for 20-25 Celsius degrees for 2-3 hours sessions , lower temp than that idk.

would recommend for begginers and amateurs who are looking for somthing good and reliable for a cheap price ;).

Good suit. Very nice processing, good price / performance ratio. Comfortable suit with good elasticity. You need some lube, to put it on. The weight of the suit is less than another of the same size and thickness of another brand good.

This diving suit is for those looking for something cheap and quality. Excellent adhesion to the skin due to its open cells, Very good for diving in water with temperatures from 24 degrees. Below that temperature, the cold probably starts to generate a little discomfort.

I just thought that the seams should be more protected because the friction with the corals can easily damage them.

Purchased this front zipper shorty for a recent snorkel trip. I tend to get cold after several hours in the water. This 2mm shorty did the trick! Sizing was perfect (I?m 5?8? and 130 lbs). It was comfortable and the extra layer made for an enjoyable snorkeling vacation!! Definitely a quality product.

My wife and I bought both the men’s and women’s Playa 2. 5 shorty wetsuits in pink and red for a scuba/ snorkeling adventure in warmer water. They fit great and looked great as well. For diving, they kept us plenty warm.

For snorkeling, they had just enough buoyancy to keep us on top, and not too much to dive down when wanted without having a bunch of weaghts. just a few lbs. Over all, they were very comfortable and preformed well.

Great for the price.

I will give it 5 stars for warmth and service although the shorty did not fit my needs. I gave it to a friend who had a better fit. I bought it for swim workout and found it to be a bit heavy for masters swimming, but my friend who lap swims had better luck with it.

I realize this is not the intended use and feel this shorty would be perfect for snorkeling or diving in warmer water.

Wetsuit itself seems fine. Easy to get into and out of. Sizing is awkward. I’m a petite 5’1” and although sizing chart puts me between an XS and S, I find the Small way too short in the torso. Tried it in the water to see if it would loosen up, and still not comfortable; very tight on crotch and shoulders.

Going to try a Medium, but worried that legs and arms will be too long.

I have not had an opportunity to test the warmth of this suit but I can speak to the sizing. Because I am short and more apple than pear-shaped, I was worried that a tall would be too long and that a small would not fit my waist.

But the material is very stretchy so it fits well! I have had farmer jane styles in the past and love the versatility. I expect this Canadian made garment will not disappoint once wet.

Ordered this for my wife. So far no issues or concerns with the Farmer Jane. Seems to be well made at a good price. She’s 5’4” and I got this in a size S. It’s a bit tight in the shoulders but I think a medium would end up too long.

I scuba in the Pacific Northwest (very cold water here). I had 3 days to get a suit and no local shop to try on or buy a suit. Amazon. Com had 3 mil suits, but nothing thinker. I stumbled upon this site and found what I needed.

Bought for bodyboarding since this is one of the few larger sized wetuits at 5mm on the market, and as well one that is 100% stretch. I am 6-1, 275lbs. , broad shoulders, size 52 chest and bit of a gut.

It fits very well at the 3XL size and is flexible for a lot of paddling. Only thing is neck is a little tight, but my is 18″, so to be expected. This suit compared to other larger suit sizes like Neosport does give a bit more room in the 3XL, and is a quality suit for a little extra money.

Was worried about the drag being its a scuba suit, but is ok.

It was time for a new wetsuit, and since I was so pleased with my Xcel 3mm fullsuit bought in 2008, I got basically the same item. Except it’s plushier and warmer and easier to put on and take off. The ankle zippers are a wonderful feature.

The suit is beautifully constructed and should last for years.

Not all kayakers are built the same…Hunted far and wide for a wetsuit for early spring and late fall kayaking to fit my 6’5” and 280lbs frame. NRS answered that call with their Grizzly 2XL shorty. An ideal combination of a wetsuit vest with attached shorts, women call this ensemble a ‘romper’.

The Shorty name is much better than little John or short John. The full length zipper makes donning/doffing much easier. The zipper allows you to adjust your comfort, unzip a little or a lot!! Found the fit in the chest and midsection to be snug and comfortable.

As others have said the butt and thigh area is a bit loose, granted it’s not a custom wetsuit, but it’ll suffice. Keeping my core warm is the objective. The large arm holes are finished so as to prevent chafe and allow unrestricted arm movement, nice detail.

The double ended zipper aligns okay with the plumbing, much easier than removing the upper half of the wetsuit for nature’s call. The butt and back of the thighs is reinforced for abrasion resistance.

Nice touch, haven’t tested the durability yet. Like seatbelts in your car, you’ll never know how well they work until you need them. Same for this suits floatation or insulating qualities as I haven’t dunked into the river yet.

Look forward to many years use for kayaking and other water sports use provided I maintain my current svelte figure. Maybe as I age, the butt and legs of this suit will gradually become snug.

First of all, let met say great customer service and communication and fast shipping from WetSuitWearHouse. As for the suit. Yet, to take it out in the water so I’ll address fit for now. I’m 5’6 around 155 lbs.

Broad chest, gotta a belly (Not huge, just sayin’) legs are average width and length, bum leans toward the flatter side. Got the medium and it fits great. I was worried about my bum to chest ratio… Worried it would be too tight in one area and too lose in another.

Wore the suit for a while and it all felt nice and comfy. Oh, and the zipper gonna be great for taking care of business. “That’s all I got to say about that. ”.

jacket. the size if surely the best I’ve ever had, even if it is slightly abundant I measure chest 84 but having thin arms it is impossible to find the perfect size. the softness is perfect, the neck and head are not soaking as in the other brands, 3, the face is tight, excellent.

I used the suit with bare chest (which I never do) and after the first minute I don’t I had problems with fraddo. Probably the xs would have gone better but if I put on 2o3 kg it would be risky, weight 55 kg.

Anyway I recommend it. Fast delivery times, great price, what can I say! Ok.

The suit arrived in Vladivostok quickly, 11 days. The quality of the costume is terrible !!! The inside seams are open, they will rub. The size does not correspond to the size grid, bought a size larger, as a result, it presses everywhere.

The neck lift is very low, because of this the neck is constantly in tension and shakes its head.

I measure 185 centimeters and weighs 82 kilograms! What would be the size that would suit me best! Size 4 cressi Tracina or technica suits me I think! I do not know if I should order a 7 mm SPETTON my size “m” or “L”.

I Haven’t used it in the sea yet, but tried it on and it’s of superior quality, supple and comfy.

The fabric is changed, but the spherical shape is more advantageous in terms of durability, not sewing sealing.

I’ve been a skin diver all my life but am new to scuba. Living in the Bahamas we don’t like cold water and don’t usually go in between October and March while the water is ‘too cold’. This wetsuit was recommended for my wife and me by our dive instructor.

We just used them in December and loved it. Now we can dive year round in comfort. I used Aqua Lung’s sizing guide which provided a good fit. All the openings seal well to allow just the right amount of water in and pee out.

They did get a little cut on the fabric from getting too close to the reef so that’s something to be aware of. Other than that they are very flexible and easy enough to put on and zip off in the boat.

Just came back from diving in the US Virgin Islands with all my new Aqua Lung gear. Loved this wetsuit. Super easy to get on and off and was the right thickness for Caribbean diving. Love the blue patterned arms for a little color.

I am 5’9” and 135 pounds and got the women’s Large which fit perfectly. The size chart said I could have also fit the M/L but it was sold out. I was glad to have the extra length in the stride. Great quality and style.

First let me say that the quality of this wetsuit is excellent and typical of an Aqualung product. The fit however is just bad. I followed the fit guide and I ordered the 2XL. I could wear this suit if I was one of those blue creatures from Avatar.

Here is a design tip. A lot of divers have a dad bod! Can we please get a suit that represents our mid section with appropriate extremity length? Not all people that weigh 220lbs are 6’5”.

The size: I tried only the the XL. The beuchat size guide i think it is contain more or less the right parameter. I am 184 cm high, chest 109, waist 106, hips also 106 cm. And the XL is good at the waist, hips and the lenght of the legs.

But naturally big at the chest, like the size guide said, and the arms of the suit is really long. And the optimal high for XL i think it is 186-187. The hood size is normal. So i don’t know, maybe the size L will be better, but i wouldn’ like to change it, cause the legs and my big stomach.

First when you dress up, it feels hard to move and uncomfortable. Do not afraid, just put yourself in the water. When the suit comes wet, it is gonna be softer, easier to move, and feel comfortable. And yes it is hold you warm, but only if is fits.

Somebody wrote, it is technically a semi dry suit. I think it is not. It is absolutely a wetsuit. But minimalised the water movement. But the water is easy to come in, out of the zipper. It is just an average zipper, not the best.

But the materials of the suit is very very good. It will be a new looking suit after a years i think. And it is really very comfortable under the water. I ordered at 7th of february, and it is arrived today.

It was five days, fastest shipping in my life.

Excellent (semi-dry) wet suit! Tested this 7mm suit in relatively warm water (18 C) during an hour (snorkeling only). It’s easy to (self) don/doff and very comfortable to wear during the dive (much more so than a dry suit!).

A little bit of water coming in from the back (or the neck?) but it warmed up quickly and stayed nicely inside (quality seals at wrists, ankles and neck). Wide choice of sizes means the suit fitted me perfectly as ordered.

Looking forward to test it further during the winter.
