20 Best Wheel For Iracing (2022 Updated)

I bought this G923 and ended up returning it a few hours later, and this is why. First, I got home and opened the box, started taking the contents out and the steering wheel module already had a rattling piece of plastic inside, which was a huge disappointment even before giving it a go.

The setup is really fast as it’s mostly plugged and play, and with the G-Hub app already installed on my computer it was easy to customize each key etc. I used it on PC, tried it with Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, dirt 2.

0, Dirt4, F1 2018 so I gave it a fair trial with multiple games. I’m going to split my review with pros and cons. Pros: – It’s a very affordable setup in comparison to the bigger brands, so if you want to get started with Sim racing I would say this is your solution but don’t expect amazing, the fact that you can snag one at your local best buy is a plus comparing it to the competition.

– G-Hub app makes key binding very easy and fast, plenty to customize (if you’re playing on PC) – Not bulky as some units, with a decent build quality for the price and ease of set up/removal if you have to secure it to a PC desk.

Cons: – The wheel is very small, – The True force is nothing but capturing the sound frequency of the engine of the car, translating it into some weird and unusual feel on the steering wheel. At one point I muted the sound of the speaker to hear how loud the feedback motor was and I could hear the engine revving up/down through the steering wheel, I am not a fan of that.

– The pedals are not the worst, but the brake pedal does not come with any sort of adjusting, nor does it have a feedback feature as some other pedals would do. This is a deal-breaker, as you’re missing half the “feedback” of the experience (why not add that to the brake pedal? it’s just a tiny rumble motor that attaches inside the cylinder.

the wheel has it, why stop halfway?) – THE CLUNKING THIS THING MAKES IS INSANELY LOUD AND ANNOYING!! My wheel came defective as noted above, I thought that was the issue attributed to the rattling but upon searching on youtube before walking into my local BestBuy, I saw many video reviews, with a lot of people on the comment section also describing the same “rattling/clunk” issues.

All in all, this is more for a kid under 15 years old to enjoy from time to time, but this is not a good choice if you want to experience sim-racing at a budget, I recommend staying away from it if that’s your expectations.

Sure, maybe I was expecting a lot more from this but there are far better options considering that for about $500 more you can get a decent (not the best) direct drive set up.

I bought this after playing F1 2020 for a few weeks with a controller and thinking to myself “this ain’t it”. After just a few days with the G923 I feel like my entire experience with sim racing has changed for the better.

And my lap times have proved immensely. I’m having fun on a video game for the first time in years. I’ll skip all the fine points that others have pointed out and get right to the punch. It sounds like the big win with this unit is the TrueFeel, which half of sim racers seem to be skeptical about, instead preferring the T300.

To someone who has no experience in the racing sim arena, but has driven high performance sports cars, I have no complaints with the feeling or noise coming from the wheel (quieter than an analog sports car by a long shot).

In terms of set up it was pretty much plug and play out of the box. I had to adjust some wheel settings for F1 specifically, the biggest one being changing the operating range of the wheel in G-Hub from 920 to 540 – at 920, it was impossible to get the wheel around in time to make an opposite turn.

This one adjustment completely changed the feel so if you’re having some issues with it out of the box, look at some YouTube videos and articles specific to your game and someone has probably figured it out.

With anything Logitech the build quality is what you expect – really solid. Wire management is great, and the clamps/vice used to keep the steering wheel on a desk (if not mounting with hardware) is really solid and easy to mount or take off.

My only real concern is just long term use of a leather steering wheel – I’ll probably find some racing gloves and keep some sanitizer closer by to avoid wear and tear.

This is a very good wheel. I gave it a conservative 4 stars because they don’t allow fractions, or it would be 4. 75. The ding is because I had to uninstall/reinstall Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox X to get it to see the wheel.

I previously tried a G920, and it didn’t work either. Frustrated, I got the idea to try removing the game and reinstalling with the wheel attached and it worked. The break pedal is much better than the G920, so I don’t regret paying more for this one, plus the feedback is more realistic and smoother game play.

Some other downsides are that you still can’t use the LED’s across the top of the wheel, or the other dials in FM7. I can’t wait for FM8 to come out and hope this wheel can really shine and use all its features fully.

Worth noting, I have the wheel mounted in one of those metal frame stand and the pedals bolted into the base of the stand.

This is my first time purchasing and/or using a driving wheel and i did an extensive amount of research before settling on the G920. I am impressed with it and truly enjoy using it. Bow is my detailed review.

Packaging: The product was very well packaged and secured thoroughly. Once you pick up the box you immediately realize that this is a serious piece of hardware. Hardware: The G920 looks and feel very similar to a real steering wheel.

The grip is comfortable, the pedal shifters provide the just right amount of resistance. The buttons are well placed, but take some getting used to. The pedals are very sturdy and the brake is stiff.

Some mayfimd the brake a bit too stiff, but you get used to it IMO. Pros: Durable, responsive, authentic look and feel. Cons: The connection from the steering wheel to your console or PC is too short for my setup in our gameroom.

This was overcome by using a USB extension cord Overall: This is a great wheel and pedal set for anyone who isnt wanting to pay $500 plus for a top-tier set. I tested the Thrustmaster kit in a different store and found it lacking.

I definitely recommend this for anyone who likes racing ganes and wants a more realistic experience.

I received the wheel in 3 days, much quicker than many other sources. The price was less other sources and the wheel is in perfect condition. It feels sturdy and is working fine. Install was very easy but an updated driver made it not function correctly with older sims (NR2003 and GPL), which was fine since I was able to uninstall the updated driver and install an older driver which still supports those sims.

The wheel’s adjustability is very nice and the pedals feel sturdy. The brake pedal is too stiff, but there’s a fix to remove the rubber stopper, which makes it softer. Summit Racing provided quick delivery and beat the manufacturer’s ‘sale’ price.

The same wheel at Best Buy was not available in store and was going to take longer to get, at a higher price, than getting it at Summit Racing. I am very pleased with the product and the quick delivery.

I’m glad Summit Racing Equipment provides eSport racing equipment as well as real world racing equipment.

It looks good but keep in mind if you dont play pc that this wheel is largely not integrated or even fully supported for use on xbox despite how its marketed on the box by Logitech. The lsb and rsb buttons, which are meant to represent the left and right stick buttons respectively, dont work on xbox at all.

The brake pedal features a rubber pad by its sensor to simulate realism, but it ultimately fails at this as it makes the braking far too stiff and unresponsive. Which the renders even using the wheel pointless if theres no option to calibrate the pedals (neither one of the assetto corsa games do not have the calibration feature).

What i do like about this wheel is it feels comfortable to use, it looks good, the force feedback feels great, and on games where you cam calibrate the pedals, it works decently. However its lack of support on the consoles make this a wheel aimed primarily at the pc market with marginal xbox compatibility at best.

The G920, however, does shine on Project Cars 2. It was compatible with it right out of the box, which wasnt something any other game could pull off. All i had to do was recalibrate the pedals to compensate for the poorly designed brake pedal, which took all of 5 seconds to do.

If you have this wheel or are getting this wheel, itll work best with PCars. It wont really work very well at all on any other game aside from forza. The settings do have to be meticulously adjusted for Forza however.

For me, the lack of compatibility and support for console makes this wheel severely overpriced for what i got since i can only race comfortably on one game and the game i bought it for isnt even compatible with it.

A major step back from the G29.

I should start this by saying outside of a cheap wheel for a PS1 I had in the late 90s, I’ve never owned or really even used any racing peripherals at home. That being said, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of this thing for the price (at time of this writing, its $300, but BB will price match the big site named after a forest which usually has it for around $240-$250).

I work as an auto tech for big 3 US dealer, and I will say the fit and finish of this wheel is just about on par with a generic sports car (camaro, mustang, etc. ). Not Porsche or Lambo quality, but for sure nicer than I was expecting.

The leather (not sure if its real, probably fake) feels very nice during long, sweaty handed play sessions, and after 2 weeks of use hasn’t rubbed off or gotten marked in any discernable way (will update if and when it does).

I drive a WRX IRL, and the pedals honestly feel extremely similar to it. They’re sporty and firm feeling, not squishy like a manual Cruze or something, but not track car hard either. I feel the brake pedal could have a little more travel, but it’s nothing major and may just be a personal preference.

I’m pretty sure they don’t change their feel based on vehicle being driven, but games like Forza will change the clutch “bite” point depending on the car. It can be a little akward, simply because you can’t actually physically feel it like you would in a real car, but I imagine that would be a very difficult and expensive thing to emulate from game to real life.

But honestly, once you dial in your settings, it feels just like driving a real vehicle within about 10 min. The force actuation is extremely accurate and MUCH stronger than you think it would be for its size.

(it will shake desks, especially if they’re not super sturdy) Most games default to the strength of it being perfectly in the middle, but I find it best to use it at maybe 35-40%, but yrmv. The whole setup is very heavy and sturdy, without being too cumbersome.

The clamps feel very strong and easy to adjust. it can be a bit akward to route the wiring for the pedals, shifter(not included but highly recommended), power, and main USB connection, especially if your desk is like mine with already terrible cable managment, but there is a slot underneath that does a decent job of keeping things from tangling as the exit the main connection point (directly under the wheel).

The shifter paddles are either mechanically actuated or very good at imitating it. They’re solid metal and feel great to use, but they aren’t self centered, meaning they travel with the wheel. It can be kind of disorienting when trying to turn and shift at the same time, so it will require focus to remember where the upshift vs.

downshift paddles are at any given time. The standard abxy buttons feel fine, not any better or worse than a standard xbox controller. d-pad is about the same. The start and select buttons are a little soft, but nothing terrible.

The only flaw I can find on it is that it doesn’t have a small joystick on it to use in menus or map screens. I play on PC, so i just grab the mouse for those times, but console users may find it difficult to scroll through things like maps or certain menus when only having access to the d-pad.

Thats a small QOL improvement I’d like to see on the next iteration of this thing, There are LS and RS buttons, but they’re not very stable and almost feel like they should click in multiple ways. That being said, I don’t really find a need for those extra buttons.

One thing to note is that if you have it plugged into your computer/console, every time you start or reboot the device, the wheel will self calibrate by turning all the way right and then all the way left.

So if you leave it on the floor or on a shelf when not in use but still plugged in, be sure that the wheel can rotate freely or else youll have to recalibrate the device when you go to use it, and if its in a position where it cant move at all, you may risk burning out one of the motors.

I will note, on PC, even though the buttons are labeled with the xbox layout, many games (even xbox gamepass games like FORZA), will still refer to them as generic pc game controller buttons ie 1-10.

Not at all a dealbreaker, but does require some getting used to sometimes. Overall, its an easy 5 star for me. 98/100, simply because nothing is perfect, and at this price point, the minor features missing are completely acceptable.

For those of you who will rate this down because it was so long or so hateful, please realize that I am a loyal Logitech customer of almost 15 years, and it is sad that I am treated with such disrespect.

I have always stood by Logitech products, and always trusted the Logitech name and brand. But after this experience, I am very disappointed. If they expect me to be happy with waiting two weeks to replace an item I paid good money for, then they obviously don’t know much about Customer Satisfaction.

The worst part is, if they refund me instead of replace the item (since it is at Logitech’s discretion) I am out a racing wheel, as the money I get back won’t even be close enough to buy one of Logitech’s wheels now (plus, the newer wheels don’t include the shifter, it’s an additional $59.

99 and the wheel and pedals like $399. 99). So, hopefully they work with me and replace instead of refund, as I will truly miss this wheel if not. I give the G27 three eggs. Mostly because, while my experience with Logitech’s support and the company’s ability to ignore flaws in products and never repair / recall them made my upset, the wheel itself is still pretty good overall.

It’s a ton of fun, and I’m going to hate playing OMSI 2 and Project CARS with my Xbox controller until I get a new wheel. It’s just sad that Logitech are going to screw me over and treat me so poorly when I am a loyal customer, just like many others who were subjected to the same things.

Go take a look at the Logitech support forums, and see how many people have stories about Logitech support, or not helping them out. Many of the threads never even get a response from anyone from Logitech, which is sad.

Obviously for Logitech, nowadays it has become more about the money and profits than it is about customer satisfaction and protecting your company name and brand.

The G27 is a legend in the racing sim community. It has an attractive design, sturdy and built to last. It has a strong force feedback motor– you can really feel the virtual forces affecting your car.

But I guess it really depends on the developers and how well-designed the FFB is. Since this wheel’s FFB is not belt-driven, it may not be as smooth, and you can really hear the gears grinding at times.

The h-shifter feels toy-like at times, although there are some simple modifications you can do to alleviate this somewhat. The pedals feel good for the most part. Logitech did a good job of replicating the feel of a real car’s pedals.

You can modify the brake pedal’s spring to get a more nonlinear feel, but this modification is very complicated, not like the h-shifter mod. The paddle shifters take too much force to actuate, in my opinion.

Not sure if there is a mod to make them trigger easier. OVERALL, this is a very good wheel for the price, and is the first real foray into true force feedback, before diving into the $1K wheel kits.

The price tag at first boggles the mind, but once you have it arrive at your door you can see why before even removing it from the box. The unit itself is encased in foam and packaged in two boxes for safety.

Once out of the box the building is quite easy and the smell of genuine leather emanates always. I bought one for my son and it is amazingly durable and customisable. The feel of it sitting in it is equivalent to a race car, it has an amazing feel and no part seems cheaply made.

Downsides, majour downside of course being the price tag, but as mentioned once you fell one you see it is justified. The other being no wheels to move it around, but these can be easily installed from a hardware shop and the basic idea is not to move it anyways.

The other main downside is that the plate that holds the steering wheel is too high for little kids when the braces are used, without the braces it bounces around a bit and the pedals are too far away for kids.

Mine I have not attached the pedals, simply use a clamp to hold them in place so for ease of swapping easily for little kids to teens/adults. The braces for the steering wheel plate do not fit at all but again a large clamp holds it up for teens/adults and can be removed easily for little kids to have it lower.

All in all, no regretsat all with buying this, I would recommend any dad with a son to buy one!.

In January of this year the decision was made to jump into online SIM racing. I got the opportunity (I wish everyone could) to test out literally everything on the market due to a close friendship I have with an influencer in the SIM racing world.

With that exposure, I tested several different cockpits, wheels, pedals, monitor stands, monitors, basically everything. I am going to surprise some people by some of my final decisions and what I am racing today.

Time and time again I heard experts in the SIM racing world just breezing right past Logitech wheels and pedals to the “real” wheels and pedals. During that same period of time I found myself going back to the Logitech G923 for PS5 and PC.

One of the reasons I kept going back to this wheel is because the G923 fit so nicely on the Next Level F-GT cockpit from Next Level Racing. Putting those two together just had a natural feeling for me.

One of the largest selling points for the G923 is the “Trueforce” action when using the wheel. It replicates what you feel when actually racing. The feedback is just awesome. I only tested 5 different wheels and I am by no means an expert when it comes to SIM racing products, but I kept returning to the G923 because it felt realistic to me, which was a requirement for me to continue in this SIM racing adventure.

Here is what I put together. Next Level F-GT cockpit. Triple monitor stand from Next Level. Keyboard and mouse tray from Next Level. 16 locking wheel castors from Next Level. 65″ by 24″ Floor Mat from Next Level.

3 Asus 27″ IPS FHD G-Sync Compatible Gaming monitors (VG279QR). Logitech G923 Wheel and Pedals. Logitech G Driving Force Shifter. *Note* The 3 Asus Monitors were purchased online from Best Buy and they look awesome and it was a great price (I think they were $215.

00 each). I also have a wireless Logitech keyboard, a wired Logitech headset, and two 12 button, button boxes in use. I only race on IRacing via the PC. Also, if someone is wondering why I didn’t go to a higher resolution gaming monitors, I was limited due to using an existing desktop and CPU, which is a Dell XPS8930, which included a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, which handles the 3 Asus monitors quite well.

All in all, I am very happy with my current setup. I’ve ran the flag up the flagpole for the Logitech G923 because this is a great wheel and doesn’t seem to get the credit it should. It’s not a direct drive wheel, but it suits me just fine and for $399.

First race wheel I’ve owned. This isn’t a technical/spec review, more so one of practicality for new users such as myself. I considered going all out with a Fanatec (buy once cry once) but the cost was ever increasing, and as a noob to this it became overwhelming to be honest.

Based on that, and that I’m just a casual gamer, I went with the G923. The feedback from the wheel is good, definitely took time to get used to moving from a PS5 controller. After a few times going back and forth between race wheel and controller I was able to go a few seconds faster with the wheel and really started to enjoy it.

I’ll admit that initially I thought I’d made a mistake in buying it as it felt oddly foreign. It’s a game, so a lot of sensory perceptions are missing from driving an actual car of course, so you have to tune your mind into it if that makes sense.

The brake pedal is heavy for sure, I tried the unit with a little rig and then put my chair behind it… I found that the chair would move back and swivel too much while you’re gaming, so I didn’t have a good feel for the brake, it was either full brake or no brake.

If you can get a proper rig like Playseat where you’re kept firmly in place, it’s a much improved experience and you can become more precise with the foot controls. Overall, I would recommend it.

Bought it. Used it. It works, almost as advertised. But. We have been using this with Gran Turismo 7. The force feedback turns off automatically after a little while making the force feedback feature completely unusable.

We have checked online forums for solutions but have not found any. But, force feedback in my opinion, is the least of the problems with this product. The real problem is usability and ergonomics. Here are some examples.

You can’t actually use the pedals unless they are physically attached to something. The pedals just move away from you as you play – really frustrating. A steering wheel attaches to a table. But the table has to be high enough so you can comfortably use it.

For example using a coffee table would be a really bad idea. Although the steering wheel has rubber feet, it’s still has a tendency to scratch whatever you attach it to. The buttons on the steering wheel are pointless.

We have never use them, nor do we know what they are for exactly. Again, no apparent answers. They are just so many wires. Anyway, I suspect the real answer is to buy a gaming chair for driving. In theory, this would solve a lot of the problems.

But without a gaming chair, this product is simply unusable. And if I did that, I would buy a much better steering wheel product than this one.

This wheel has been a blast. I have never been one to really be into racing games and with the downfall of first-person shooters lately, I decided to give it a shot. The wheel was reasonably priced and MC even price matched Logitech for another $20 in savings.

This is an excellent beginner wheel but there are a few things to note. The first is I would recommend a stand. They are pretty cheap online between 50-100 dollars. The feedback on this wheel, while great can be a little jerky at times.

This caused my monitor to shake as I was racing around. I highly recommend this wheel as a great beginner wheel. It links perfectly with Forza with a little in-game tuning and has been a blast. If you get the wheel I highly recommend the warranty.

MC employees are very open with how the product warranties can benefit you. Look into it.

I had a couple wheels in the past, but they both lacked force feedback, so I might as well have just been making driving gestures with my hands. Well, not quite that bad, but I always went back to the standard controller.

Driving games using the standard PS4 controller is awkward at best and I decided to splurge on a wheel. This Logitech G29 is not the cheapest wheel nor the most expensive by a long shot, but it’s more money than I’m used to spending for gaming.

Overall, it’s a great first step into a driving simulator setup with a couple caveats. The wheel comes with a power supply with a super long cable. The pedal set has a super long cable that plugs into the wheel.

Then there’s a six foot USB cable that goes to the PS4. So, you have all of these really long cables, but a short one going to the PS4 console. I didn’t need/want to drag the console out into the middle of the room nor did I want to be so close to the 55 TV, so I had a USB cable extender I used to give me more reach.

DONT DO THIS. The wheel was – I thought – working fine, but I noticed in Gran Turismo that when a preliminary auto-drive sequence transitioned to self drive, there was a hard bump to the steering that sent the car veering to the left.

It was weird, but manageable. And then I played F1 and the flying laps or pit drive-out sequence would slam me into the wall when it switched over. It took a lot of searches to realize the USB extender was the root cause.

Once I removed the extender the wheel works much better. The feedback is pretty good overall, but can be a little too exaggerated in F1 (maybe more recent releases of that game are better). Both games recognized the wheel and have their own mapping and configuration.

The wheel feels fairly natural. There’s a little play at center, but it otherwise has a shorter ratio that is fairly easy to adjust to. The pedals are pretty good – a little tight but still manageable.

The brake is progressive but can only do so much. You really have to pay attention to markers, speed, and other indicators to know if you are coming in too hot. That said, it is communicative enough so you can tell the difference between feathering and standing on the brakes.

Overall I’m really happy with the purchase although it represents only the first investment. Because if you see such a big improvement after buying a wheel, imagine the difference a cockpit simulator could make.

I worked in video games as software engineer for 10 years, by the time left EA and Ubisoft I hated games. 2 years ago got myself a new PC, then got a Rift S. Then got a 3090, started playing games again and really enjoying them, VR ones on Oculus and Steam.

Then I got bored again, Oculus doesnt have many good games, so I thought I’d start flying sims, got some pedals and a X52 flight set, again played flight sims and start wars for 6 months loved it. Then as a last throw of the dice I got this set.

Wow, this is absolutely crazy fun. Playing in VR driving sims if absolutely massive fun, also Truck Simulator is so addictive. This set is bloody great, and if you are thinking of getting steering wheel you must realize there are big differences.

The cheap ones are plastic junk, they dont feel realistic at all, and are really just a way for you to input signals to a game. This thing though, although not the best by any means, is just the right balance.

It weighty, looks a bit daft, but actually gives good feedback and really tries to pull the wheel out your hands when driving. I must say though dont let your kids near it, the thing spins around, and has 2 sharp metal gear changers at the side of the wide, these also spin around really fast when you fist plug the USB in.

I’m very surprised this is even allowed on the market, its lethal. But if your responsible with it, get it, its awesome.

My review is somewhat subjective so YMMV. I’m using this on a PC, but have also been successful using on the Xbox One. I use it for Assetto Corsa and PCars2. To me, the feedback in Assetto Corsa feels more predictable and more indicative of road and tires interaction.

The wheel rim itself feels great in hand. It has a solid frame, no perceivable flex and decent girth for my long hands. The paddles are attached to the rim, good solid clicking and spring back quick.

The base motor provides strong, and snappy feedback on most sim road conditions. 900 degree rotation is great, but the ability to limit to 270 for open wheel racing is awesome. I feel like I’m able to better control vehicles, especially at high speed, and not trying to chase center or creating massive dead-zones.

Overall, the base is solid, has quite a bit of heft, and doesn’t flex on my desktop the way some other units have in the past. The included clamp on this one is much better than previous generations of Thrustmaster stuff (like 2010 and older).

I’ve heard some people make comments on noise, but to be honest. I can’t hear it over my GPU. Pedals are nice, they include the progressive cone brake mod which adds some resistance to the pedal travel.

Although it doesn’t feel like a hydraulic brake, it honestly does a great job providing feedback and allows you to go based off pressure and not only pedal position. Bravo to that. Pedal base is solid, and a low CG.

On wood floors, it does not move around much unless you really get on the brakes (with the cone installed). I just put a piece of Velcro on the floor and it worked like a charm for those late brake entries.

Things I wish were done better. The wheel D-pad is small and in an awkward location. the push button hats feel a bit cheap and don’t offer much space for labeling functions as needed when switching between vehicles and sims.

It would be SUPER if they could be back-lit since I run my sim in low ambient light levels. The rotary button isn’t the best interface, its a little stiff for the type of knob they put on it. Perhaps a paddle or some knurls would probably fix that.

All in all, I’m happy with my purchase and highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get a quality wheel that is a significant step up from the cheap stuff.

Pros: Great wheel, I’ve got plenty of fun out of it so far (about 2 months since purchase). The Leather wheel feels great to hold and is easy to grip; the metal shifters feel great also, providing a decent “click” feel when shifting.

The pedals feel great and are well built, the inclusion of a rubber capped steel rod implant for the brake pedal is fantastic; as a weaker guy I find it much easier to use this way and don’t have to tire myself out after a few laps around my favourite circuits.

Cons: The external compatibility is great although I’ve had some issues. I purchased a TSS Sparco & TH8A Shifter to complement my wheel (via TM Sim) but haven’t managed to get them working on Xbox. I have been busy though and it could be a relatively simple fix along the lines of downloading a software update.

That being said when I’ve plugged the extras in, they haven’t worked for me.

TX and T300 servo bases have practicaly identical mechanism so the same smooth clear nice FFB. I mean great feedback. And I had also in my possesion T500rs and tspc racer which are more strong. But they should improve the thermal design of the wheelbase.

So many problems that can be avoided. I still do believe one should buy it despite the bad reputation. The tx leather edition has a great rim, really nice leather feeling which is way betterbthan the 458 italia edition which is far more plasticky than it should ar the price point.

So if you buy, upgrade firmware and when driving keep the internal fan always on (mode&button 8) to make sure your wheel base has adequate cooling from the beginning of the session. Once it gets hot problems occur.

The wheel and pedals are dope. The alcantara is lush, the FFB smooth and torquey, the pedals entry but about as good as the G923s (maybe a bit better?) and it’s an absolutely SICK way to get into sim racing.

But I’ve done so much research on so many wheels including this one before making the purchase that I’m not exactly surprised by these things. What I’m pleasantly surprised by is how dope this retailer is.

I was admittedly nervous about the not-a-small-amount-of-money I’d just dropped after seeing some of the past reviews and nothing new since March of this year; but I took a leap of faith and hopefully this more recent positive review helps ease any anxiety you might have about ordering from this storefront.

I received precisely what I ordered and it was indeed brand new and sealed in the box. I clicked ‘Submit Payment’ late Friday night not expecting it to ship until Monday and arrive beginning of next week or the end of this week best case.

I was aware of their business model and how agile their shipping can be because of it. I certainly wasn’t expecting it to ship Monday and arrive on Tuesday however! Out of one of their warehouses in Jonestown, PA and dropped off in perfect shape by FedEx on the front porch.

YMMV, but I trust these guys and I’d order from them again🤙🏾🤙🏾.

This is an amazing wheel, I have used it an many games. I recently started using it in Forza 5, and this is where it is lacking. Although it is a great wheel, either it is antiquated, or Forza 5 is not supporting this wheel properly, but the accuracy of this wheel is severely lacking.

I am still working on proper settings, but I have not found a setting that is accurate. It has horrible over and under steer with this wheel, even when adjusting the dead zones. If I find an appropriate configuration, I will share it.

But it has been a challenge to find on. This wheel is amazing in other driving games, but in Forza 5 it is limited so far. I love this wheel, but it may not be the best choice for Forza 5.

Pros: Oozing with quality! I have tried the Logitech G920 and G29 wheels and have to say that this stands head and shoulders above them! I understand this is double the price but it’s worth every penny! Force feedback through a belt driven system is unmatched when comparing to the gear driven solution from Logitec.

This just feels secure and right! Although I wish I had more labelled buttons as it can be a little confusing when navigating using the wheel however this is a small price to pay for the replica Ferrari wheel that you get.

Cons: I have one minor issue with the product itself. The alcantara is great, fit with the fresh smell and amazing feel however I noticed the stitching to be a little loose at the top inside of the wheel where it ends.

Instead of replacing it I used a tweezer and tucked it in to itself as well as I could and it’s holding up fine.

So I’ve been a life long gamer, the last time I had a steering wheel setup was on the Playstation 1 with the original Gran Turismo, fast forward 25+ years and I decided I’d give a racing wheel another try (as I have most of the Forza Games, plus Dirt Rally and a few others).

Let me just say, what a difference 25 years makes! Force Feedback is amazing! Not only does it really feel like a car driving down the road, but most racing games allow for nearly infinite adjustability of the Force Feedback Settings.

This wheel is actually too powerful on the highest settings, so I’ve dialed the strength back to 50% in most of my games. I’m playing to enjoy the games, not wrestle with the steering wheel, but some gamers might like the steering a lot stiffer, and this will deliver.

The buttons on it feel well built like they won’t break or stop responding, and in the rubber section of the wheel it feels very grippy and well built in your hands. The plastic part of the wheel feels a little cheap but it won’t wear.

As for the pedals, they do the job and aren’t terrible, but also nothing to write about. After a few weeks I upgraded to the T-3PM pedals that Thrustmaster just released, and they are well worth the upgrade.

I still have the pedals it came with as a back up in case the new pedal set runs into issues. If you’ve been thinking about getting a racing wheel, this one is great!.

I received this as a birthday present in May, and was really happy about it. I plugged it into my Xbox One and it worked great! Was fun to play on and had great force feedback. But I have encountered some problems that I would like to explain: 1.

The stand sucked and the wheel would always tip over. Because this isn’t a desk clamp wheel, it’s a cheap flimsy strange that it held together by a screw. 2. Then the stand broke one day and we had to design some makeshift stand for it that took like, a week to make 3.

The acceleration pedal doesn’t work in Forza Horizon 4! I don’t have any other games that support it at the moment but I’m pretty sure it’s not a game thing. Basically how the pedals work it that they register as the RT (or RB, not sure) button and it pretends to be a controller.

The problem is, it doesn’t register as a button. This means it’s like, $300 just sitting around doing nothing bc it doesn’t work. I am going to reach out to thrustmaster and bestbuy, in the meantime, DONT BUY!!!.

This is a fantastic first step into wheel and pedal controllers for the racing gamer that wants to get a little more authentic feel. It’s certainly not a 1:1 recreation of driving a car but it is certainly better than using a controller.

I used it on PC and the setup was easy, mostly plug and play. Aside from downloading the driver, which was also super simple and everything just worked. As for in game performance, it works great. The force feedback is a bit rough at first, but after tweaking the settings I feel like I got it dialed in pretty well and it feels great now.

I was worried that it would aggrivate an old wrist injury that sometimes acts up when it’s stressed, but so far I haven’t had any problems even after a few long sessions. The wheel could stand to be a little bit bigger in diameter personally but it isn’t that big of a deal.

The buttons are very clicky and feel solid, they may not be the star of the show here but it’s nice that they were given some thought as well. The paddles are super nice, I would prefer having a proper H-pattern gear selector, but until I decide to invest in the add on (which I will say it’s nice that this wheel has some expandibility if I want to do that) these paddles will do the trick.

Theyre metal and feel solid, the travel and click is incredibly satisfying. Unfortunately a problem I have with this set is also the paddles, they are attached to the wheel itself and so they turn and rotate with it.

This is fine until I start getting into dirt racing where I will often be going lock to lock on the steering. I have to start hand over hand turning which makes it hard to tell whether I’m hitting the upshift or the downshift paddle.

Leading to a number of mistakes in the process. A solution to this would be to mount the paddles on the base/column of the wheel instead of on the wheel itself so they stay in the same position regardless of how much the wheel is turned.

Other than that this is a great kit and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who doesn’t what to spend 400 dollars for a better set.

Wanted a inexpensive steering wheel/pedal setup for PS4 Wasn’t interested in spending a lot of money for force feedback. This unit fits the bill perfectly, and works great The steering wheel has L2 and R2 buttons on the rim that work the gas and brake if you don’t want to use the pedals.

I would recommend this wheel to anyone who just wants an inexpensive wheel without force feedback. It does have vibration feedback which simulates road bumps, and tyres hitting the curb etc, It is much easier to drive with this than a controller.

We have a rug so pedals do not move suckers stuck to a tray really well so far really pleased.

Absolutely terrible. The initial setup is easy but the games it is compatible with VS the games isn’t completely shifts the tides. The ONLY game I have found to have worked with this reliably is CarX drift racing online.

I would not recommend this wheel and highly recommend the PXN V900 racing wheel it’s a little more expensive but it works on pretty much any racing or drifting game out that supports racing wheels.

It’s an affordable, good, stable and strong wheel. The feel is quite good. Lots of programmable buttons. Adjustable sensitivity and deadzone. Easily attached and detached to the table. The only thing I found unpractical is the pedal set.

It’s somehow not comfortable enough because of the design. It’s too high and crude. But still a must have if you’re looking for a relatively cheap and nice racing wheel.

Great older wheel for the PC, if you don’t want to fork out, or can’t afford a new $300 Logitech, pick one these up. It doesn’t have a clutch pedal, but for the price you can’t go wrong. Played NR2003 for year’s and it never missed a beat.

Had to buy another one only because I lost the pedals during a move 5 years ago, hooked them up to my original wheel and all was good. I started playing RaceRoom today (Great race Sim btw) and it works flawlessly.

I bought this for my son. He is using it for gaming and is hoping to use it with the new Game he is purchasing. He said he is happy with it and it works well.

First wheel purchase. I own several other Thrustmaster products, so this was a way to expand the ecosystem. Works as advertised right out of the box. Accurate and responsive with plenty of buttons on the wheel.

The Force Feedback is surprisingly robust. I use the wheel for American Truck Simulator and have all the control I need at my fingertips. I don’t need the pedals (basic gas pedal and brake) as I have rudder pedals that double as these.

Outside of arcades, I have not been an avid user to racing simulation games and have not used many alternative steering wheel options in the last 10 years. I was really excited to try this steering wheel and foot pedal combination and I was really shocked by how much I enjoyed it.

The product is very easy to set up. There are simple instructions included, but really the device is complete plug and play, connecting to the xbox just by USB. The steering wheel attaches well to a table, but I originally tried to secure to a rounded table which does not work as the wheel clips cannot hook on.

Its difficult to get a table to the right height for this to be comfy sat at a sofa, so I would really recommend buying one of the properly designed chairs to go with this. Connected to this issue, the pedals are not easy to use when just placed on the floor.

I have a wooden floor at the pedals do slide about during use which makes them less responsive. Again, I would recommend having the properly chair to secure these to. Other than that, I cannot fault this unit at all.

The steering wheel feels sturdy and responsive. The vibration feedback feels really accurate and increases the enjoyment of the game brilliantly. I have used this steering wheel with three different games now and it has worked perfectly each time with gear changes and clutch working well.

The brake and accelerator are very responsive which I didn’t expect at all from these pedals. Overall, I believe that this unit is excellent quality and well designed. They make racing games very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a very high quality racing wheel.

For an entry level wheel, it is hard to beat this one. You get all of the feel of the road and the feedback of the turns without breaking the bank on the higher end wheels. This will let you test out your skills and decide if you want to invest more money into a sim rig with lower risk.

The wheel and the pedals are very responsive and exactly what I expected out of the combo. My only issue is that even though they do have a wheel for both consoles, they aren’t very upfront with the compatibility.

I knew going in from previous research that xbox stuff almost never works with sony stuff. BUT, with this unit everything I read said that the xbox layout worked with playstation and pc. That isn’t true without a 3rd party piece of hardware.

It isn’t plug and play like they semi lead you to believe. They aren’t lying, they do have units for both, so they are compatible with both systems, but their wording would lead you to believe either wheel would work with either console.

This isn’t Best Buys fault, it is worded this was on Logitech’s own website. Just a word of caution if you are looking for a wheel that works with all platforms. (Fanatec does have one that will but you will need to fork out around 2k for the wheel and base a lone).

Like everyone else, I compared this with the Logitech G29 – I’ve used Logitech wheels a lot in the past but have had problems with them too. The Thrustmaster seems smoother and less “clunky” as they use belts, not just gears for the feedback so that is a bit better with the T150.

The pro provides better pedals which is the most critiqued issue with the lower-end T150 non-pro model. So far so good – I use it with both my PS4 and PC which can be selected with a toggle switch and it works well on both.

This is the first wheel that has a much larger degree of rotation (180-270 degrees) and it is much more realistic than older wheels. Overall, I think it works well but should be priced lower.

The wheel is a step up from my logitech wheel. It still feels like a toy but the shifters are nice and it has a good amount of buttons, 12 that can be programmed to what you want. 14 if you count the shifters.

The peddle set is good, wish the gas had more resistance to it. It’s very easy to push all the way down. The clutch is good but again not much resistance to it. The wheel has good force feed back to me, but iv’e never owned a top wheel that cost five hundred dollars or more.

The rim it’s self could be bigger but it works fine for me. It feels a little cheap because of the plastic feel to all the wheel but the rubber grip part. The rubber part of the wheel is blue the rest has a plastic feel.

I play American truck sim, Project cars 2 , Assetto corsa, and IRacing with it. It’s a good step up, and i can get better peddals and rim from Thrustmaster. I hope this helped you , i wouldent buy it unless you where serios about sim racing or other driving sims.

I bought the Ferrari T80 before this one and, all I can say is that i feel little bad for not buying this one from the beginning. !!! This one have more bottoms than the T80 and a little easier to use on sport games and you don’t need to figured out how to configure to your ps4.

Just plug it and press the ps bottom and let’s start to play, I really recommend the Thrustmaster t150. !!!.

Ive always used Thrustmaster for my wheel and pedals, but after doing a lot of research I decided to move up and purchase from Fanatec. You can tell right away just from holding the steering wheel, how well it is made.

It has a good weight to it, and feels like it could snap right onto a racing car. There are plenty of buttons. You have one 7 way joystick button that also rotates 360 degrees, which you can use as a dial, and there is a directional joystick too.

The wheel base is made of mostly aluminum and steel, and it works great. It has enough force feedback and resistance that Im not wanting a DD (Direct Drive) wheel at all. I cant imagine having any more force than this while sim racing.

The BMW GT2 wheel has been around for quite some time. Well designed and almost bulletproof, its no wonder that Fanatec continues to sell this wheel. Plenty of tactile buttons and the infamous funky 7 way switch give you endless options.

Size of the rim is perfect for sedan and GT style racing/driving. Weight of the wheel is mediumish so if you want only the faster style wheels, you may want to look for one of Fanatecs other offerings which are plenty.

Overall I highly recommend this wheel. The build quality is superb. The shifter action is precise and it just looks damn good mounted on my rig.

Was originally looking for the McLaren GT3 v2 wheel but ludicrously just can’t be found in stock anywhere. Now,had a few extra quid that I wasn’t expecting come to me,so I took the plunge. Always liked the look of the Formula v2,but was not in the budget.

Yes,it is expensive,cost more than a Logitech or Thrustmaster complete set-up,but if you’ve decided your definitely into this sim racing lark(lets be honest,if already purchased a Fanatec wheelbase,you were well on the way to that) this is for you.

Straight out of the box it is a hugely impressive bit of kit. It genuinely looks like it belongs in a real race car. Build quality is second to none,in my opinion helps “amplify” force feedback(I use a CSL Elite wheelbase),probably due to the smaller diameter.

More buttons and dials than you’ll probably need. Absolutely do not regret the purchase. If you have the spare cash,this is for you.
