This wheel is great! For context, I’d never spun anything before in my life, except for trying a drop spindle and realizing that wasn’t going to happen. ever. I did watch videos while waiting for delivery, which was very fast, even during the holidays.

Assembly was easy and the Woolery staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I called to ask about which oil I could use (sewing machine). My very first frankenstein yarn, made with the fiber that came with it for free, was ‘unique’ but knitted up into a very funky hat.

Within days I was making yarn that is quite regular and knitting up into a very nice sweater. I found that the brake adjustment was really easy to tweak to a level that seemed to be working for me. The built-in lazy kate works well for plying.

The wheel is compact and comfortable to use while sitting on the couch. The treadles fold up easily so I can just slide it against the wall to keep it out of the way when not in use. I did make a dust cover to protect it from the dogs, though I imagine the quality backpack would be handy for taking it places.

It’s very portable but stable. Also very quiet – there’s a little clacking noise sometimes but not loud enough to interfere with the TV. I’ve had to expand my yarn stash storage to accommodate my new fiber habit as I’m always wanting to spin more.

I look forward to many years of actually learning technique and producing interesting yarns on this wheel.

I was nervous leaping back into spinning since I had to learn in high school and I was TERRIBLE at it, I learned on a louet s10 and I was a little traumatized by it (I hear that they’re fabulous wheels!) I don’t usually buy myself anything too costly so of course I was very anxious about investing in a new wheel.

I am so glad that I chose the Joy 2! It’s so easy to transport or just put away, I can sit and face whatever direction I want with the single treadle (I was reclining with one leg up on the couch earlier and comfortably spinning).

I honestly have been wanting to do nothing but spin recently, I’ve had a hard time getting any of my work done. The built in Lazy Kate leaves just a little bit to be desired only in the angle that you end up plying from, but I don’t think I’d trade this in for any other castle style wheel.

I also love the gothic cathedral style arch the wheel has to it so while it may not be what people think of when they imagine a spinning wheel it still has a very nice, stylish look to it. I feel a little goofy having the wheel fold up into a back pack but it works to easily transport.

Overall I have been very pleased with this spinning wheel to the point where not only do I feel as though this wheel is perfectly worth the price but I completely forgot how much I ended up spending on it, after all that anxiety.

I’m relatively new to wheel spinning as I have only used a homemade wheel made from old bicycle parts and scrap bits. I thought it was going to be hard to catch on. Practice treadle is a good idea to get the feel of it.

I have a bit of trouble keeping the leader yarn tight to start spinning initially but that’s a newbie thing and tension based. So glad to have purchased this particular wheel.

As fall has approached and the farmers are taking down the crops the field mice seem to love to scurry into nearby houses. As the weather drops we seem to see them around more even with getting a cat.

I am absolutely terrified of the things so getting somthing to help was a need. Having 2 dogs and 1 cat we couldn’t do the sticky traps or the set ones as the animals would set them off. We also did not want to use poison and risk that alone.

So here we are looking for more options and I see this. This is very easy to set up and we have caught 2 so far. I would like to say this has been the best trap used for us. It actually works. I like how this has the poison inside and protected so nothing else will get ahold of it.

The window is a nice addition so you can see if the bait has been messed with at all and needs refilled. Look forward to it helping out home this year and not having the pesky problem.

I always have rodent traps set in my barn. Until now, I had to be careful not to accidentally step on or set off the conventional rodent traps that snap shut. With this new Tomcat Rat and Mouse Killer Refillable Station, I don’t have to worry about that.

The refillable station also has a window right above the bait so I can see if there is any activity at the bait or if the bait needs changed. With the conventional snap traps, the kill is instant and the rodent can be removed before it decomposes.

With the Refillable Station, it is possible for the rodent to eat the bait, crawl into an inaccessible spot, die and decompose without the opportunity to remove it. All the while having to put up with the smell.

Having said all that, I am going to stick with the Refillable Station because I think it is far more convenient.

We got this bait station to use in the crawlspace of our new mountain cabin. It is starting to get colder so no doubt the rats and mice will make their way into the crawlspace to warm up and nest in the insulation.

Because we won’t always be at the cabin to unload them, we didn’t want to use the spring loaded kill-traps since they have to be unloaded before another rat or mouse can be killed. This bait station is very easy to load and while not a problem at the moment, I like that it’s child and pet proof.

As advertised, the see-through window makes it easy to monitor the amount of bait left in the station. The bait station is guaranteed to kill rats and mice; however, because the station doesn’t actually trap them inside, they eat the bait and go off to die elsewhere.

So, unless you actually see the carcasses, you are left to trust the poisonous bait is doing its job.

I’ve got a hedgehog and it works great! Of course it isn’t silent, but no wheel will ever be completely silent. Hedgehogs have limited choices for wheels, but this is perfect. My only problem is that I can’t get the stand off to attach it to the cage, so I just used some zip ties for now.

Maybe I’m just not strong enough or something. All in all, it’s great!.

The shipping and everything was amazing and it arrived pretty fast. The wheel is good but for people that have hamsters in their bedroom (like me) I personally dont recommend it, it is way too loud. Overall, my hamster seems to enjoy it.

I own the 12” wheel for a Syrian hamster I bought this wheel September 4th of 2020 so I’m coming up on my second year with this wheel, so as much as I’m about to tear into this wheel, I can at least say it does last a long time.

Currently it still has no issues. This was the first hamster wheel I ever ordered so naturally I was very excited to have something large enough for my big boy and something said to be quiet, and well, it definitely is large enough but it’s just sort of quiet.

If you place the wheel too close to the edge of your cage (bin or tank… anything with walls) it wobbles and slaps into the sides making loud clanking noises. And well, yes this could be fixed by just moving the wheel but it’s extremely tedious to constantly be moving the wheel back into a place where it won’t be hitting the walls, because this isn’t just a one time thing you’re going to encounter, the wheel wobbles every time your hamster runs on it and the wheel shifts due to this.

But it is *technically* a silent wheel other than this. One of the most annoying things for me though is the extremely small amount of space given between the stand and the wheel itself, this isn’t an issue if you have a wire cage, but if you have a tank or bin it is.

You have to sacrifice the amount of bedding provided to your hamster in order to fit the wheel in. This is one of the main reasons why I do not recommend this wheel for hamster parents. There are wheels in similar price ranges that allow for more customization.

Not to mention this wheel is a pain to clean, taking it apart and putting it back together every time you want to clean it is a lot more than a simple rinse with other wheels.

The wheel worked great at first. It’s fairly easy to disassemble and clean, and it’s just as easy to reassemble. Makes only a slight whisper of a noise while in use that can usually be masked by an active fan (which I sleep with anyway) or quiet sleeping sounds (I usually go for rainstorms; sooooo relaxing).

However, in the last two months my hedgie Nina has been running relentlessly at night, and at least once per night it seems like the wheel unscrews itself little by little, unfastening itself from the cage wall, which results in various metallic noises that continue until I get up in the middle of the night to retighten the bolt.

Really frustrating because I don’t want to take her wheel out; she’s a little chunky and needs the exercise. But I also have to wake up at 4 or 5am most mornings for work and need my beauty rest. I’m not really sure what to do about it.

It works great for our rats, nearly silent, and they love it. They were pushing it around in the cage and impacting other items in the cage, causing noise. I decided to use the attachment bracket to attach it to the cage, but the bolt is too short.

If I use the stand inside the cage and half the attachment bracket outside and a lot of force, I can get just enough of the bolt exposed to put the lock washer and nut on. The bolt needs to be longer.

A wonderful wheel to start, and shipped very fast! As time went on I had to tighten the wheel by hand. I purchased the wheel in late March 2021. , I now have to hand tighten the wheel twice nightly for my Syrian.

Not silent. It’s just not. I ordered two of these. The metal base is way too flexible and the wheels are off-balance and wobble a lot no matter how much I adjust them. The center nut on one keeps coming loose.

I had to put a dishcloth under one wheel to keep it from banging against the bottom of the cage. Also the plastic wheel itself totally amplifies the sound of hamster footsteps or anything that gets stuck inside it.

Why can’t it be made from a material that doesn’t do that??? I’ve had cheaper wheels that didn’t have that problem, and were quieter than these. On a 1 through 10 scale, with 10 being completely silent, this ranks a 5 or 6 maybe.

I bought this wheel about a year ago for my dwarf hamster Vanilla Bean, and it has held up immensely well! I am incredibly happy with this wheel, it is the only one I have ever used that was truly silent (except for little hamster paw noises of course!).

The plastic is thick and heavy duty, which makes taking it apart to clean it very easy. I use a toothbrush to get in the cracks, but it fits tightly enough it isn’t really necessary. In the stand, it sits at a perfect height for my hamster to climb in.

I especially like the guard in the front, he seems more comfortable due to it. My only complaint is that when dirty, I find it tends to unscrew itself. After a clean, I never have this problem, so I can’t fault the product for it.

Vanilla Bean doesn’t need to put much pressure on the wheel either in order to make it start to spin, nor to stop, which was an issue I’ve had with other wheels. The part he runs on too, has tiny ridges, making it easy for his paws to grip onto, without sliding or causing a tripping hazard.

I recommend this product to anyone with a dwarf hamster, or young syrian.

Firstly, the color does not match the picture, it is actually a subdued olive green, not the lighter green in the picture. That was mildly disappointing to me. Secondly, I did not realize I could not just attach this to the side of the cage and I found out that doing so requires having to buy a separate piece! Grr.

Would have been the perfect suggested sell when I added this to my cart because of course I want to put it on the side of the cage! Thirdly, it does spin nice and is relatively quiet. It’s nice and smooth, good components, and very stable.

Easy enough to clean, and the rats actually use it! Not sure it was worth the price but it’ll do.

As a chinchilla professional, and educator for Empress Chinchilla Classroom, I strongly advise against purchasing any wheel or exercise equipment for chinchillas. Chinchillas are burrow dwelling animals who do not need exercise, and providing a wheel is detrimental to their health and behavior.

For those having issues with it getting loud, I removed the inner metal bearing housing and wrapped it in some non-pill fleece. I cut a small hole in it to put the threads through, and made sure there was some on the back to pad between the wheel and the nut.

I had a small amount stick out the front to pad between the housing and the wheel. I also put a slightly longer screw through the center connection. I got a locking nut with a pin from the customer service, so it can’t work loose.

Now it doesn’t make any noise. Except for when the bearings need cleaning. They can build up some gunk. If you wipe them with a paper towel, it cleaned them. I also anchored this to my cage to a piece of wood and I’d screwed to the cage, since just attaching to the cage can put a strain on the bars.

One of the few wheels available that is actually safe for degu use being solid no mesh underfoot to cause bumblefoot and nowhere to trap the tail. The only drawback is that the degus enjoy chewing the wood, so the wheel needs replacing on a regular basis – but at least it is safe for them to chew unlike the plastic wheels often advertised for degus.

It is the 28cm size needed for degus, as anything smaller can damage their spines (the curvature of their spines whilst running is too much on a smaller diameter wheel). The wheel is very well made, good value for money and really quiet in use.

My degus are on it all the time. The only wheels better than this are solid metal and generally expensive and quite hard to find.

Wheel is very strong and nice looking. But I gave 4 starts only because there is no finish on the wheel. It is just plain wood, without any finish (like paint or varnish). As it ment to be for pets, I think it would be nice if maker would do a finishing coat in the wheel, of course with the pet safe finishing.

I am buying now a pet safe wood oil, to give a safe wheel for my gerbils. Now the wheel got some small wood particles sticking out from the wood. So it is not safe for tiny feet. Otherwise wheel is very very good.

And i like that cork surface inside the wheel. I hope my gerbils will enjoy.

Previous plastic wheels unsuccessful owing to excessive squeaking and joints wearing away very quickly. This wheel is still silent after 3 weeks use by 2 busy degus – and although it’s wood, they have only nibbled the inner lining (cork?) and not eaten any of the wheel!! Also the connecting joint is showing no signs of wear.

When this wheel does wear out I will definitely buy another one of these to replace it.

These wheels shipped quickly and arrived in good shape. Unfortunately I had ordered them while relying on the US Wheels site that said they would fit a 71 Buick GS. They don’t with the standard backspacing.

With Jegs they were easy to return though and after checking with US Wheels I found I could order custom backspacing through Jegs at no additional charge. Still awaiting arrival of second set with the right backspacing.

The Spyder hub centers arrived and look great. Very satisfied with Jegs service. Looking forward to installing wheels once built.

The team at Summit was helpful in finding me a wheel that I could get quickly. I had seen reviews about US Wheels, specifically that they may not arrive in perfect condition. The four wheels I purchased arrived fast thanks to two day shipping, and on two of them there were some minor blemishes like the wheels were bumped, but nothing that was a dealbreaker for me.

Purchased this for deburring & polishing metal in preperation for possible plating. Does a really nice job. Can produce a 13 Ra finish on steel. Very satisfied.

We use these year round to deburr stainless steel. Never had a problem with them. Top notch

I used this for cutting steel which it says on the wheels it should be able to do. However upon use the wheels were coming apart very quickly sending material flying at me (even with the guard on, fingers were still getting sprayed with material from the wheel) as well as sending chunks of steel not finely cut granules but actual junks like it was breaking the steel as opposed to cutting it.

I will not be using this product again, and I will not recommend this product as I genuinely feel this is an unsafe product for anyone who is not doing cutting with an angle grinder using this product.

I only gave it a 1 star because I couldn’t go lower.

Both the 4 inch and the 7 inch wheels performed excellently. They last a long time even when cutting welds and quarter inch thick wall pipe and angle iron. I ran out of wheels and sourced another brand locally (Forney) and those lasted about 1/4 of the time on the same material at about 25% higher cost.

I thought that I FINALLY had a reasonably excuse to buy a plasma cutter; I faced ripping way too many feet of angle (don’t ask!).

Being a cheapskate, I just had to give the Milwaukee 4-1/2″ “a shot” with one of these newly arrived disks. Three disks later, I’m back to looking for an excuse to buy a.

The G27 is a legend in the racing sim community. It has an attractive design, sturdy and built to last. It has a strong force feedback motor– you can really feel the virtual forces affecting your car.

But I guess it really depends on the developers and how well-designed the FFB is. Since this wheel’s FFB is not belt-driven, it may not be as smooth, and you can really hear the gears grinding at times.

The h-shifter feels toy-like at times, although there are some simple modifications you can do to alleviate this somewhat. The pedals feel good for the most part. Logitech did a good job of replicating the feel of a real car’s pedals.

You can modify the brake pedal’s spring to get a more nonlinear feel, but this modification is very complicated, not like the h-shifter mod. The paddle shifters take too much force to actuate, in my opinion.

Not sure if there is a mod to make them trigger easier. OVERALL, this is a very good wheel for the price, and is the first real foray into true force feedback, before diving into the $1K wheel kits.

The price tag at first boggles the mind, but once you have it arrive at your door you can see why before even removing it from the box. The unit itself is encased in foam and packaged in two boxes for safety.

Once out of the box the building is quite easy and the smell of genuine leather emanates always. I bought one for my son and it is amazingly durable and customisable. The feel of it sitting in it is equivalent to a race car, it has an amazing feel and no part seems cheaply made.

Downsides, majour downside of course being the price tag, but as mentioned once you fell one you see it is justified. The other being no wheels to move it around, but these can be easily installed from a hardware shop and the basic idea is not to move it anyways.

The other main downside is that the plate that holds the steering wheel is too high for little kids when the braces are used, without the braces it bounces around a bit and the pedals are too far away for kids.

Mine I have not attached the pedals, simply use a clamp to hold them in place so for ease of swapping easily for little kids to teens/adults. The braces for the steering wheel plate do not fit at all but again a large clamp holds it up for teens/adults and can be removed easily for little kids to have it lower.

All in all, no regretsat all with buying this, I would recommend any dad with a son to buy one!.

First off, this spring arrived within a couple of days from Australia to Indiana USA! That alone has me excited! Secondly, while $20+ seems excessive for a simple spring, I can agree but did not have any luck sourcing one that fit easily with the same tension I needed to upgrade the brake “feel”.

I placed this spring in the brake pedal spring holder along with a cutout of some high-density foam that was the length of the spring and fit inside. This gives it that “stiff” feel when you push the pedal down to the floor and adds more firmness to the pedal.

I placed the old brake spring in the clutch pedal, and the old clutch spring into the accelerator. This gives me a much more realistic feel to the pedals across the board. Be aware that if your wheel stand doesn’t have good weight or traction to it, these upgrades can push the pedals away from you.

The carpet tack-strip inside the Logitech pedals becomes useless after this upgrade and will call for your pedals to be more secured to the floor or stand by other means. An allen key, and a phillips-head screwdriver is all you need to do this 10 minute upgrade.

We expected 16 X 1.75 inch bands. They are 16 X ONE inch wide bands. Will not trust them again.

The strips were a good fit and installs with just enough tension to keep it from shifting while mounting the tube/tire. The thickness looks to be sufficient for long service.

All things wear our. Had to replace the inner linings on my mountain bike. These fit perfectly and have held up well.

This is excellent wheel for syrian hamsters. The size is perfect, little cutie doesn’t curve his back. This is very safe wheel. It isn’t very heavy. It is a bit noisy but nothing critical. My hamster loves this wheel and run in it all night long.

This it perfect exercise for him that let him stay active and healthy.

I spent a long time researching wheels and, for the money, this was the only wheel with any decent reviews. It’s big enough for my female Syrian and sturdy as a stand-alone. I have 2 of these wheels and don’t have either mounted on the bars as I think my bars are too flimsy for the weight! The first wheel developed a squeak after a few weeks which then became a very noisy rattle.

Oil only helped a bit and I realised that something was needed to cushion the gap at the back if the wheel where it is attached to the stand. After a bit of experimentation, I wrapped a pipe cleaner round the metal shaft that the wheel sits on to stop the wheel rattling against the stand and it became almost silent again! So far wheel 2 has not needed this adaptation! I mention it as the biggest complaint in reviews about the wheel is that it becomes noisy and this us an easy fix! My Syrian spends at least 3 hrs on each wheel every night as I have one in her cage and another in a fish tank she goes out to play in -and they keep her sane.

Prior to having the wheels she was hell-bent on escaping all the time! They are big enough to help avoid back problems -I have the 28cm one -but I did have to buy a bigger cage to accommodate it! Worth it for a happy hamster.

This is the best plastic wheel you can buy in this price range. It’s not silent, but it doesn’t make the horrid squeaky rattling of wheels of yesteryear; just a quite rustling sound. It looks good with its spiral sticker on the front.

It’s a good size for a Russian or Chinese dwarf hamster (but too small for a Syrian they need the 28cm one).

Wheel is quite big but good for my Syrian hamster so he doesnt bend his back. Sturdy and doesnt fall over like other freestanding wheels Ive bought. Only thing is it squeaks quite loudly I can hear it upstairs when he is downstairs.

But if he enjoys it then thats what matters :).

I can highly recommend this product, having purchased numerous wheels for my little Degu in the past which have not lasted very long atall, this wheel is absolutely ideal, it is robust enough to offer plenty of wear but is also light enough not to cause any issues when excercising it is sturdy and does not move around and the mesh effect construction seems to advantageous for keeping the wheel clean.

Highly recommended over and above the plastic or wooden versions.

The metal that the wheel is built out of is indestructible. But sadly, the wheel does not rotate in a uniform manner. When it spins, there’s a slight crookedness that occurs. Another issue with the product is that after just six months of use, the wheel starts to make a constant clanking noise when my hamster, Mr.

Mouse, uses it. It is also a possibility that I received a defective unit. But seeing as though the problem took multiple months to develop, I had no ability to either return the product or have it replaced.

And as far as I know, the item included no type of warranty. There are unfortunately very few treadmill-style wheels to purchase as an alternative to this one. So, without being able to confidently recommend an alternative, you may have to just purchase this one and suffer through the inevitable noises.

On a positive note, the fulfillment of my order went smoothly. But ultimately the product itself disappointed due to the dreadful noise that goes along with its use and that really soured my experience with the Exotic Nutrition brand.

The bearings will wear over time depending on the usage of the wheel and the environment in which the wheel is used. We recommend that bearings be replaced about every 4-6 months, but again this will vary depending on usage.

We offer free replacement hardware, if needed, within 90 days of purchase. If the wheel falls outside of the warranty period, replacement hardware is available for purchase. Let me start out by saying that my hamster has NEVER had ANY interest in wheels. I’ve tried 8” and 12” plastic wheels and he completely ignored them. After stepping foot on a flying saucer for the first time (a plastic one), he was instantly hooked! The only issue was, the plastic ones were breaking after a month or so of vigorous use! I was desperate for a solution and was so excited to have found one!!! The unit pays for itself! Yes, it costs twice as much as the plastic counterpart, but it will last 50x longer! The ONLY reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the running surface plate needs to be at a higher angle so that the critter doesn’t fly off the side.

I just propped mine up on some bedding so that the plate is closer to a 45 degree angle and it has been perfect ever since! I have a Syrian hamster and I use the larger 14” size for him. It’s PERFECT! He used to churn through a new plastic “flying saucer” every month or so but this metal one has lasted 7 months and is still going strong.

For full disclosure, it does start to squeak after a while. I honestly barely notice it because my hamster is in a glass aquarium type home (IKEA Detolf conversion). I’m considering trying cooking oil as a lubricant (thinking it may be safer for the critter than mechanic oils.

) I’m about to adopt some gerbils and will be purchasing this for them as well. If you have a large hamster and have enough room in their home, get the bigger size that is marketed towards chinchillas.

We initially bought the plastic saucer from Petco and it lasted exactly eight days returned it and the second also lasted eight days. After searching found this one and we have had the 14 inch wheel for a year.

I am back on the site now to buy bearing replacements. This thing has exceeded expectations! Our chinchilla is constantly on it and I have not performed any maintenance until now. Absolute Quality and silent as can be until you need to replace the bearings.

It is the best wheel for rats available. Multiple rats can run at the same time and they don’t bend their back. Because it is metal, the wheel is heavy and allows them to get a good stride. The wheel bearing cartridge needs improvement.

The screw rusts as does the metal. if allowed to go too long before replacement, it becomes impossible to fix. If EN could give us suggestions on the maintenance of the wheel to prevent the cartridge from rusting – it would be appreciated.

There really isn’t a better wheel out there. Maybe additional zinc coating would help? Or an indestructible cover for the center so it can’t corrode? -Christina Ripley, Josephine’s Rattery. Amazing!. For only one year. The ball bearings fell out of BOTH my girl’s wheels after about 13 months, which is really dangerous if they were to ingest them!! Rusts easily after cleanings, which unfortunately needs to be often cuz lord can hedgehogs poop.

It was great while it lasted, don’t get me wrong. Completely silent, super fast, great for my running girl. But since both wheels had the exact same issues after a seriously small amount of time, I wont be buying another.

Needed a cheaper wheel for my QR fork. Arrived with tubeless tape already installed and sealed easily. Rolls smooth and true. Only three rides so far, but seems to be just what I was looking for.

These are stout and dependable wheels for training, on rough and/or gravel roads and heavier loads. They also mount a variety of tires fairly easily. I highly recommend them after using them on 3 of my bicycles over the last 5 years.
