20 Best Wheel Well Liners (2022 Updated)

Supposedly these cover more than the OEM liners. Easy install. My only real gripe? The corners use Christmas tree fasteners with a rubber washer on the back side to hold it in place. Talk about cheap! The plug isn’t even big enough to make contact with the OEM hole, it’s literally the cheap rubber washer and that’s it.

Went to the parts store and bought 4 bolts and nuts to install it correctly.

Received quicker than I was told and extremely Pleased with this product. Installed these on my 2021 Ford F150 in a matter of minutes and drastically changed the appearance of the Truck. Excellent Quality and a Breeze to install.

They fit without any issues and I am very Pleased. I have purchased other Huskey products in the past and have never been disappointed and they didn’t disappoint this time either. Great Purchas and Great Product.

The Husky Liners were on sale on this website that I buy from. Have always bought Ford brand rear wheel liners. Gave Husky liners a try, they give great coverage as they are a little deeper then the Ford liner.

I would buy again from Auto Anything and would recommend Husky Products to others looking for rear wheel liners.

In addition to protecting the wheel well (these should come standard) they really look good on the truck. Installing them was straight forward except the mounting hardware and the lower rear of each side.

The the head and shoulder of the mounting screws/bolts appear to be small compared to the videos I watched online. It appears it needs some fender washers. There’s not much surface contact. And for some reason I found it impossible to tuck the lower back under the edge of the fender.

I’m still not sure I have them installed correctly.

Perfect fit for my 2020 F-150 after a very little trimming on the outer edge at the rear of the passenger side. Driver side went in without any problems. Now my rear wheel wells look complete. Don’t know why Ford doesn’t supply them from the factory but.

whatever! These are solid, hard plastic liners. These work with Husky rear mud flaps without having to remove the mud flaps to install the wheel liners. Great fit! Another GREAT product from Husky!.

These Husky Liners were shipped promptly and were ridiculously easy to install. They appear to be of good quality and the custom molding and pre-drilled holes matched perfectly to my 2019 Ford F-150.

The install required NO drilling and involved attaching the liners with only 4 screws/clips. They are a very inexpensive and simple upgrade that creates a much cleaner and sleeker look as it “blacks out” the wheel well so that you don’t see the unsightly suspension – not to mention that it also serves the purpose of protecting this area of your vehicle.

I chose these well guards because I liked the smoothness of them and specifically did not care for the appearance of the Rough Country version with the two molded rectangular bars. I did not get what was pictured but instead got a pair of well guards (in a Husky) box that look exactly like the Rough Country and have more difficult installation instruction! Here is what I was told by a Husky representative: “Husky Liners is owned by Truck Hero, Inc.

Truck Hero owns 20+ companies who make various automotive aftermarket items. One of the companies that Truck Hero also owns is Rugged Liner. Rugged Liner also makes Wheel Well Guards and currently we are sharing a mold with them.

” Husky has offered to swap my set out for the ones I wanted, so as long as that goes smoothly, I’ll be happy. If all goes well, I hope to update to 5-stars once they get installed.

The liners are great and fit the lines and ridges in the wheel well. I have 2 complaints with the liners both of which are simple fixes. The first is that the liners could be an inch longer on the ends to fit better behind the rock guards.

The second is the mounting hole placement. No matter how I manipulated the liners 1 to 3 of the holes were not in line. I couldn’t get all 7 to line up at once. Just a little hole enlargement and bam they fit and held fine.

easy quick install. did the trick. truck being white and gm having rear liners bo. these worked great. white wheelwell could be seen forever. not now look almost stock. you have to center them equal on both sides.

could be half inch longer on both bottom sides to cover the nuts where the factory screws hold the bottom trim on bumper side ‘.

First of all I did get them in but it was a challenge. You can install with truck sitting on the ground and tire on but it would be easier on a lift in retrospect. Passenger side seemed to go in well once I realized I needed to loosen the wheel fender trim to get it to fit between the fender and trim.

Lining up attachment points A, B and C wasn’t trivial. recommend having an extra set of hands and eyes for the alignment. Also Do Not install on a cloudy day you need light to align everything. I also added mud flaps.

I ordered husky and weather tech flaps. husky flaps arrived a day after the install so I installed the weather tech. Had to engineer a way to get the upper nut on back side of fender, trim and inner lining.

I got it done but it wasn’t easy. I had Hoped to have both brands of mud flaps to choose easiest to install with liner. that wasn’t a choice as it turned out. The passenger liner did not fit the contour of the bed and bulged.

Had about 1 1/2 inch clearance with the tire, just around the shocks. Wasn’t happy, could have used another screw attachment but none provided so I used 3M auto tape to make the inner wheel well liner conform.

Finally done on that side and it looked good. Time will tell how it will hold together. Now I figured with the lessons learned on the passenger side the driver side would be easier, WRONG! The driver side had a much tighter fit but it contoured the bed liner nicely as opposed the the other side.

However, I could not line up the A, B and C points all together. I was able to get 2 of the 3 but the last one was about a 1/4 out of alignment for pre-drilled truck hole. WHAT TO DO? I decided to use my tap tool to drill an attachment point to align with the rear fender attachment point.

It was a slow process but it eventually lined up and all holes were covered by the inner molding when re-attached. I was smarter this time to install the upper mud flap locking nut with electrical tape to keep it and the washer in place to put a stainless steel screw in without the hassle I had on the other side.

BTW I needed 1 inch screws and not the 3/4 inch screws provided With the mud flaps to compensate for The layer build up. fender mold, liner, fender lip and mud flap thickness. Looks good and hope everything will last for the time I own the truck.

it has 315 miles on it as of the install. Will be returning the second set of mud flaps. Now for the.

The liners fit pretty tight in the wheel wells and seem to be holding in place good. However, there are only two mounting points behind the wheel used in securing them. They provide a plastic push pin fastener for each side and you reuse the one screw already in place.

The rest of it is only held in by sliding it between the existing splash guards and the metal edge of the wheel well itself. You then retighting those screws already in place. Those screws are not actually going through the liners.

It would be nice if the liner was physically held in by screws around the entire wheel arch like those from Mopar. The plastic on the rough country liners is much thicker than the full liners from the factory that I’ve installed before so that does help keep them in place too.

Install was fussier than I expected. It started on the wrong foot when the bolts that have to be removed wasn’t a 13mm but was a torx T40 and was REALLY rusted in place. Ended up having to purchase a set of impact torx bits to get them out.

The instructions for lining up the holes around the lip weren’t very clear, so ended up putting one in, taking it out, figuring it out, and putting it back the “right way”. A few more lines and/or pictures in the instructions would have helped me.

In the end they fit, I haven’t been using them long enough to comment on the durability but seems ok for now.

Bought these to put on my 03 ram 1500. Even though they are for a gen 4 they will work on a gen 3! Good quality and only need very slight modification to fit my truck. Just have to flatten the indents where they would normally fit and screw in on the gen for.

the Gen 3 is a bit deeper in height so the gen 4 indents wont work. However, once you flatten them out on the pack (a 2 lbs hammer or dead blow hammer will do) they fit nicely, I just SS bolts and plastic push plugs to install mine.

You will probably have to dril new holes in your fender if your putting it in a gen 3. But no biggy well worth the work! I mounted my rock lights to them and they are the bomb!.

Great look, really nice fit. Would help to know you just put over the existing oem smaller liners that are on. Just loosen screws bout half way, and remove the one screw completely in back wall toward front of truck like it says, bend liner on ends and slip over wheel easy as can be.

Mount the one back screw in half way and it holds it in place enough to bend inside metal fender. 15 min one side, 40 min first side til I figured the trick. Nice finished look. Should’ve been on from factory I thought.

Items showed up on time. Being my first install of wheel well liners, I watched a couple videos to familiarize myself with the process. One mentioned treating the area you’re about to cover with “Liquid Film” rust inhibitor.

It did make the install a tad messier, but in the long run, I’m hoping it helps when it comes to the salty roads of Wisconsin winters. Over all it was a pretty easy install. There is a little bit of tugging and bending (of the liner) to get it into proper position.

From there, a few holes to drill (since I have the factory flairs) put in the provided Christmas trees, and you’re off to the races. For a 2005, this truck had little to no rust, so I’m hoping this mod will help keep it that way! In the meantime it’s looking great with the new liner.

Of note, I opted to do the install as the truck sat, so these do go on without jacking up, or removal of the wheels.

Snaps in place fairly easy and quickly. It was hard to intentify the right from the left. It was stenciled and very lightly done. Almost didn’t find it but it’s there. Also there are 4 holes on each well.

They supply the 8 self tapping screws but the holes in the plastic well were bigger that the head of the screw so I had to add small flat washers to each screw. Other than that, these snapped in perfect.

I ordered these to cover a lot of Wisconsin winter nightmare rust repair. Although the directions state you don’t need to remove the wheel to install them, doing so makes the whole process a million times easier.

The mounting holes didn’t quite line up on my truck, but as I was repairing the whole area, some additional holes weren’t too much of an issue. If you can, setting these out in the sunshine before installation is helpful, as mine got tweaked a bit in the box.

Probably from shipping. They are heavy gauge plastic and don’t have that “cheap” feeling. All in all, I’m very happy with them. Summit ships fast and treated me well with this purchase.

Installed these on a 2012 F150. If possible, remove the wheels for a much faster installation. If you can’t, you can still install them but it will just be a little more tugging and pulling, nothing too serious.

One thing to note is that although the instructions mentioned drilling into the sheet metal, that was completely unnecessary for my application. The bottom tabs were lined up with the most bottom bolt on both sides after some tugging.

So don’t be too quick to start drilling. After installing, they do fit pretty well but not exactly 5 stars worth. They do protect and somewhat cover the gap between the frame and bed so that’s all I really wanted.

For the price, not bad. I’d be interested to see how well the husky liners are in comparison.

It took me about 2. 5 hrs to install due to having airbags. It would be nice if Husky would make some idea of where airbags would be installed on the liners for us that have them. Otherwise, they fit good.

The directions also stated that the wheels don’t need to be removed. This is wrong unless you have a shallow right angle drill for the wheel well lip holes. They fit well overall.

I am incredibly happy with my wheel well liners. They hug the inside contours of the bed and fenders very well and provide a large area of protection. My only complaint is that they are not a perfect fit.

First of all, I am a relatively strong guy and it took me a good 20 minutes of pushing, prying and jamming before I was able to get them in their proper position. However, this was more so on the driver side, as the passenger side took less than half the time.

Also, when I mentioned that they are not a perfect fit, this only applies to the driver side as well. There is a thin metal beam that connects the front, bottom end of the fender to the frame of the truck that is directly in the way of the liners.

Eventually, after a lot of muscle and grit, I was able to get the plastic liner to fold inward on the point of contact with this beam, making it fit properly. Other than that, I couldn’t be happier with how well they perform and protect my truck.

Would definitely recommend.

There were mixed reviews amongst other sites. Husky has been making a great name for themselves and I figured I wouldn’t regret. Well these are a perfect for! Takes about 10 minutes per side with the right tools in hand.

I’ve already had more than a few notice and agree she looks better!.

I received it promptly, and it appears to be a good quality material, and if it had fit correctly I would say the price was great. It was supposed to be a perfect fit for my 2004 F-250. Unfortunately, it was about 80% a perfect fit.

It was claimed you could install in 15 minutes. It took me over five hours of solid work, and I had to make some modifications for fit. I am an experienced auto-hobbyist with many small projects behind me ranging from full engine rebuilds and transmission, brake work, suspension work, and even a full resto-mod or two.

I would almost get it into position and find a spot that needed trimming, or reprofiling with a heat gun. The fender well lips on my example are not shaped right and were very difficult to get in, now they want to pop back out.

Some of the needed holes were not drilled for the push pins, Also, there is no relief for the emergency brake cable routing on the driver’s side, meaning the plastic will be continually rubbing against the cable (it’s pretty well armored, so probably no problem there), and the cable prevents it from fitting against the frame as it is supposed to.

Also the reliefs for the spring bump-stops are not quite correct, so the plastic is pushing against them which makes it that much harder to get them into position, as it becomes an unwanted lever point while you are working.

Finally, the directions are minimal, but barely adequate, the photos are reproduced to such a poor quality that they are really not useful. This product is almost there, but is off just enough that it’s a real bear to install, you will have to do some modifications and have some perseverance to make it fit.

I am disappointed because I had high hopes for this product. That being said, after my modifications and frustrations at getting a fit, now that it is installed it will do what it is supposed to; minimize mud/dirt being flung onto the underside of the bed, frame, and suspension.

The material its made of is tough and thick, and looks like it will far out last the truck. I got a set for my 99 ford f250 super duty. The mold shape of it was way off on mine, The back side and top of the wheel well are hard to get in but fit snug.

No problem there. My beef is the front side of the wheel well, its way too wide. You have to take the fender support loose at the front of the wheel well to get it in but it is impossible to get it seat in fully under the lip of the fender.

You would have to bend the bed side out 3 to 4 inches to get it in place so i took them back out. havent decided if i should go through the bs of trying to return them or try to cut them down to fit.

Hopefully the one for other makes and models fit much better but if you are looking for ones for a 99 super duty i would pass on these. I think it would be a great product if it just fit.

Its kind of a fight to get them worked around the fender lip but once in you will be happy with the precision fit. Very happy with them. Hopefully they stop most of the sand and salt from being forced into the wheelhouse and keeps the fluid film in place to combat any rust.

As always with Offroad Alliance delivery was fast. The liners themselves seem to be decent quality but the install was a little more difficult than expected. I found it easier to pop the fender flares off to get liners into place, then reinstall flares.

This isn’t a big deal but I struggled for a bit trying to follow Husky’s instructions to install with flares in place. Also had to drill another hole on each side where pre-drilled holes didn’t line up – again not a big deal.

Overall, pleased with now that they are on.

The wheel well liners look nice. There are two versions of the same part number. One has the cut out for the Raptor badged trucks that have the Fox Shocks. The liners take a little brute force to get them to fit into the wheel well.

Once in position, they fit great. They have two predrilled holes that use the fender flare screws to hold it in place. They are close in alignment, but if you enlarge them, prior to install, the installation goes easier.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that these have been updated to not cover the Fox shocks 2019 and up Raptors. I was prepared to trim them as to not cover them, but I did not have to. I did have to widen a couple of the pre-drilled holes, but this was not a big deal at all.

there really I not any cons. the reason I wanted them was simple. I undercoated the rear fender wells many times. the rocks kept chipping it away. so I undercoated them again right before I installed them.

no more undercoat needed. this inserts go in very easy, simple attachment, comes with self sealing, self drilling screws, and I had them installed in 20 minutes. they seem to be high quality and dress up those rear wheel wells nicely.

Had the hardware arrived with the liners, I would have been pleased. I had to wait on the hardware. The liners were creased from shipping because there was no cover. The liners were shipped with zip ties to hold together and apparently a small bag is attached with hardware that is easily knocked off.

Once installed, the items look good. Wheel must come off to install the self tapping screws. Once you do that, the job should be a 15 minute job!.

They were easy to install based on the provided instructions. I would recommend that they be exposed to either the sun or a heat source for easier installation. They didn’t need to be trimmed of any excess material prior to install.

The instruction pamphlet that came with the liners was adequate. If I hadn’t watched a couple of on line videos the installation would have been much more challenging. Liners themselves were decent quality for the price.

A sticker on the liners indicated they fit 2002 to 2013 F150. I ordered them for a 2014, but they did fit.

After ordering, the wheel liners arrived to my door in approx 4-5 days. I looked over the instructions- understood them pretty well. I do wish the pics were as clear as the website ones. The pics on the instructions were very grainy as if these instructions were from a copier.

Installation wasn’t too bad, the piece fit like a glove. However, getting it under the flange around the curved part took quite awhile – almost 2 hrs – when putting these babies on. But I absolutely love them, they add superior detail to the back carriage.

Very sturdy and easy to clean. Just a hose and you are done. I highly recommend this wheel liner. Thanks!.

This is a great product and fits well. There are lots of complaints about hard hard they are to install but they are a perfect fit which is why it takes a bit of effort to get them in properly. Makes a huge difference in protecting your wheel wells from rocks and debris and makes cleaning a breeze.

These inner fenders look great, protect my jeep, and were not too difficult to install. That said, the install video makes it seem easier than it was. The holes on the front fender didn’t line up perfectly with the OEM holes, but that was ok because they lined up with the holes I drilled for the flat fenders I added.

The key to the easy install was keeping the bolts loose until everything was connected. It let me adjust the position of the fender so the holes would align. In the end, I’m very satisfied.

Overall I am pleased. Install wasn’t as bad as some people led me to believe. Front liners look really cool with the silver plate (you can paint it other colors) behind the RC logo. I really wish the rear had the same color plate.

disappointed that it doesn’t have that option. Also a tip on the rears – one bolt requires you to grind off some of the sheet metal to let the nut/clips. I didn’t feel like getting my grinder out so I just put in nutserts instead.

Worked just fine and no grinding needed.

These inner fenders work perfectly with the rough country tubular fender flares. They come with a little metal insert that goes behind the stamped out RC logo and I painted mine to match some other accent colors on my jeep.

Install on these is a little difficult. The instructions are in black and white and the pictures are a little hard to see but the text is descriptive enough that you won’t get lost. The hardware and nut clips are a little hard to work with especially working with the tight spaces behind the wheels.

I’d imagine if you have stock wheels and tires it’s be easiest to just remove those for the install. Nevertheless, fitment is great and we didn’t have any issues. Probably only took a couple hours to put together and install these.

Just installed the Husky Rear wheel liners on my 2017 Silverado. I live in new England and the temp is around 30 so they were hard as a rock when they arrived. I tried an initial fit but couldn’t bend the plastic enough to get them completely installed.

Used a heat gun on them for about 10 minutes and was able to bend them in place. The screw holes lined up nice, and they look great! Well worth the price. Took about 30 minutes to install each side including heating them up.

I gave this item 3 stars so here’s why. Package was nothing more than a zipped ties with the plastic push screws tapped to the liners. Come on at least wrap the items in something. Luckily no dings, scratches or missing items.

The product itself to me was a 6 out of 10. The plastic push screws instead of the actual metal clips and screws I’ve seen on other products was a step down. If all you can afford is this product then go for it.

If you can afford a little more then it’s definitely worth the expense on the upgrade.
