I ordered the wheel chair for my little chiweenie Gracie. She is 14 and had injured her spine. It seems the pain is gone after some chiropractor adjustments. My one regret is that I didn’t know to order the wheel chair early on.

As I believe it might have given her the break she needed and helped her stay on her feet. After getting the small wheel chair I saw online that they offer a mini version. I knew immediately I needed to echange it for a mini wheel chair because, tho the small was an amazing product, it was a little cumbersome for her little body.

I shipped it back in a 2 day shipping. I made a call on the second business day hoping to get the exchange initiated. To my surprise, the man informed my it should be arriving the very day I called. I can’t say enough about the customer service, the promptness and the quality of the little wheel chairs.

Needless to say our little Gracie more or less took off in it quickly. She is not a little dog that can be enticed by treats, but all it took was her family to move to the next room. She followed immediately.

This is my dog Oliver who is now 16 years old. A few years ago he just stopped walking due to neurological reasons. I wouldn’t say he was very active, but we wanted to give him a way to still walk. His front arms were strong enough to use this wheelchair and he used it weekly in carpeted areas or on the grass.

This wheelchair worked beautifully and was very comfortable. It had straps in the back to put his back legs up, but he didn’t care for them. He has since developed more issues and doesn’t have strength to hold him self up in his arms, so he gave it to a small breed rescue that I know will put it to good use.

I highly suggest a dog wheelchair if your dog needs mobility. It was great to see him walk even if it was just a little bit.

We have a Corgi who was recently diagnosed with DM, which is very hard to deal with. But then we found Walkin’ Wheels, which was a momentous moment for us! We LOVE our new Wheelchair! It’s very well-made and comes with loads of instructions to help fit it to your pup.

I recently bought a Best Friend Mobility BFMM Medium 16″ – 20″ Adjustable Dog Wheelchair from FactoryPure. The wheelchair was intended to assist my neighbor’s three-legged dog “Lucky” to take walks without enduring the obvious pain it causes him; the hip of his remaining rear leg is under a lot of strain.

After several attempts to maneuver the dog and the apparatus together, it became apparent that the late middle-aged lady would never be able to use the product. I talked with a lady at FactoryPure, asked for return instructions and was told that she would have to get approval to accept the return.

I told her I could send pictures to show the wheelchair was unused, in perfect condition, and complete. At her request I did so. From our conversation I felt certain I would be returning the product.

However, when I did not hear back from FactoryPure I called them only to be informed the manufacturer would not accept the return. All FactoryPure had to do was put the wheelchair back into their inventory.

Any reputable company would have done so. Steer Clear of this company. If anyone needs a new Best Friend Mobility BFMM Medium 16″ – 20″ Adjustable Dog Wheelchair I have one taking of space in my office.

Not well designed: -SAFETY ISSUE! The left wheel loosens as the the chair advances. I had to check how loose it was every few minutes to be sure it didnt just spin itself off the frame. There is no way to tighten it enough to ensure it stays on, as it compresses the bearings if you try.

The wheels should bolt on with a nut or the left wheel should be reverse threaded. Otherwise its a hazard to the dog or a big distraction from the walk. -The harness was not able to adjust for a good foot for my Husky.

Its shared for a more barrel chested pup, like most dog items on the market. It would be nice if it was more adjustable to accommodate a narrow, deep chested dog. Also it had to be put on by first putting the front legs through it, which is not easy on a wiley beast.

It would be so much easier to use if there were clips around the bottom part of the harness. Gets 2 stars because its the best priced chair on the market. If your options are this less than perfect chair or not walking your dog friend, it works.

Just be very careful to make sure the wheel doesnt fall off and possibly injure your pup.

This dog wheelchair fits my Yorkie and is a life saver for our family. My little baby would not be able to get around without this cute and well made wheelchair. I have tried all of them out there and they are not able to let my Yorkie move freely like I want my little girl to move around.

The fake one I bought fell apart fast (be careful about fakes they look the same) and the $400. 00 brands are like strapping a car to my fur baby. I bought a fake thinking It looks the same so it will be fine.

They are not the same. The parts don’t fit together properly on the fake and that made for a very scared Yorkie when it fell apart as she was walking. Save yourself the trouble and trust me on this. Best Friend makes the best dog wheelchair.

The price is soooo good compared to the other brands we tried. The customer service people were so nice and helped me order the right size we needed.

AMAZING! My high energy dog Daisey took right to it! This is giving her mobility after a spinal injury paralyzed her rear end! Excellent build quality, powdercoating, fit and finish! Packaging is excellent! It is very adjustable to fit any dog probably with all the extra extenders! The lock mechanism is solid, and simple on the wheel stuts.

I also added the front and rear harnesses. A must have!! Not that the ones included are not good! I’ve not tried them. The separate harnesses are easy to get on Daisey and is extremely helpful with mobility and getting her attached to the cart as the rear harness has handles that allow me to hold up her rear end and the front has a handle so she can be lifted off the ground qith ease.

The rear harness connects to the wheelchair in the 4 simple connection points which is awesome! I think she likes the extra padding of the additional harness and definitely the added style of the pink camo the match the pink frame.

I’m going to be adding the larger blue 12″ wheels just because they look cool! Very Happy and Thankful for these mobility assistants for Daisey! It will increase her quality of life!.

We waited for months to be able to afford this wheelchair for my beloved dog, Majid. The order took twice as long to arrive. It is not difficult to assemble, but it is more complex than it needs to be.

The materials are cheap. Extremely light plastic parts, and a heavy metal frame. The harness is not easily adjustable to his size, though we went by the measurements. I will have to trim it down a lot to fit his chest.

The harness does hardly anything. The front poles droop, because it is not well engineered. The back is okay–but again, cheap parts combined with heavy clunky parts. The overall thing should be priced at $150, not at $450.

It is more expensive than a bicycle, and bikes have moving gears, chains, brakes, steering wheels, handle bars. The idea is good–my dog is very excited to have his hind lifted and the wheels to help him.

Going up the hills the fit is too long in the back, with the hubs behind his hips. Going down hills it moves forward and then the hubs go in front of his hips. I think it could be engineered much better.

I am cranky about how much fuss they make about it and how I will be paying it off for a while and yet it might wear out before my dog does. I do not recommend this product. I recommend you hire someone handy to make you something similar and fitted to your dog and to your needs.

It will be much less expensive and more fun. We do like the blue color. The wheels do okay on the rough road we live on and the grassy side areas. Those are the positive qualities. One customer service rep was very helpful.

One was not. The marking of the product is confusing as they had us order size L but shipped us size M and then we had to find out why that was actually the right size because of their inability to simply specify sizes on the packaging that correspond with their sales site.

I also must mention: this could be much easier to get the dog into and out of. The straps are not arranged in a way that you can slip the thing on: you must undo every part and fit each component separately while your dog tries to balance and wait.

Big deal they make of this product and the founder seems full of himself. It could be much better.

The brace feels very sturdy, made of high quality materials. I think it would be extremely helpful for supporting the spine/rear end. Overall rating a 3 star because I really don’t know how well it works.

I bought this for my elderly Bulldog/Boxer mix with spinal arthritis affecting her hind end mobility. I ordered a large based on her body length and weight from the website measurement chart; however the large is significantly too large for her.

Even cinched down to it’s smallest setting, the whole thing floats around on her body and provides no support. I reached out to customer service to exchange for a smaller size and have received no response.

So I’m out $180 until/unless customer service follows up. Disappointing because I think this brace would help her if I got a size that fit. I found the same product on Amazon for about $20 more so will probably order a medium from there.

My dog has an extremely high pain tolerance, so neither me nor the vet knew she was deteriorating in her hips and knees until she started finally limping. Turns out, she has no hip sockets so it’s bone rubbing against bone, and she is missing a tendon in each knee in the back leg.

Vet said nothing could be done so I started looking around to see if there are any options out there for my dog that didn’t include being on pain killers for the rest of her life. Wheelchairs ended up being the option and I chose this one for it’s good reviews and low price.

It’s a great starter wheelchair and has helped my dog to be more mobile again and has helped her with potty time. The frame itself is sturdy, though the side bars are a little on the flimsy side. It took me several tries before I got the wheelchair together right.

There was always something that was on backwards. The pictures and the manual show two different things so that didn’t help. I finally got it then it took a few months of slowly getting my dog in it and adjusting it multiple times before we finally found adjustments that work.

Overall it’s a great wheelchair, the only downsides are no hooks on the harness to attach the leash, and the screws keep coming loose so I had to get pliers and tighten them until I almost stripped them to get them to stay.

Though, one side arm does still tend to wiggle out so I have to readjust it each time.

The design seems well thought out, knowing my own Collie I went for the size 1 1/2″ shorter than recommended, because her proportions are odd due to her front legs being far back compared to other breeds, but multi adjustable, it’s worked for us.

Assembly instructions and advise were fairly good, I think it would benefit with actual pictures or diagrams with a real dog in the contraption. I was a bit daunted by the thought of getting it assembled correctly, in the end, I stopped reading instructions, did the best I could think of, then made some changes once the dog used it, just using some common sense and trial and error.

IT IS NOT HARD TO ASSEMBLE, I PROMISE. I have not had cause to use it, but there is an email support available, and if you need to phone them, a phone number is available, I think based in America, me being based in England, I worried about the call cost when I wanted to question one thing.

The thing in question, there is a Velcro connection between the two rear leg hoops, which hardly holds together, easily unfastens. I can live with this, I think it’s just to aid getting the back legs in the frame to start with, and I think is actually a hinderance when walking, I think I will remove mine.

I can’t compare this to other manufacturers devices as I have never used one, but it seems to be of sound build quaity, it should last for a pets whole life time, and instruction pamphlet does say you can contact them to easily swap or replace parts.

My advise would be, take it one step at a time getting your dog used to it, they want it to be a gateway to freedom, not an unpleasant chore. My dog has very strong front legs, but very weak rear legs.

She can easily get around in the “Charriot” I call it, but does tend to resist, and she can’t be tempted with treats, but if she sees a cat, she is off like Usain Bolt! It’s not hard for them to get around in, and my dog seems to have easily picked up on spacial awareness.

When she does get the wheels jammed somewhere stupid, she just freezes and lets me rescue her, rather than panicks. If plan B is having your dog put down, don’t do it yet, try getting one of these, make it plan A, persevere and enjoy.

My dog was getting house bound, so was I, we were both going nuts, we both get out more now, and both enjoy our lives again.

The quad arrived (super fast) flat packed with really easy to follow instructions and all tools needed. Its solid and sturdy metal (small size holds my 16kg short legged dog easily) wheels are solid and the two front rotating wheels makes it easy for my dog to navigate.

One problem was the band over the belly, it covers his bits so tended to get rather wet, no amount of adjustments fixed it, it would bunch around his privates. Eventually removed it. My dog took to it so easily and fast.

This has been a blessing and aids my dog so much. Cant recommend enough.

This is a well made wheel chair that operates smoothly, fits well and is easily accepted by the dog. My small frame came with large nylon rear wheels that operated well over grass, the door step, the random toy on the floor.

It is made of lightweight materials (machined aluminum frame and neoprene pads), making it one of the lightest options available. My dog sat next to the box as it arrived, and watched me put it together.

By the time I was done, she was ready to go. Not quite 5 stars because it is not as configurable as others. My large dog on short paws was too long for the small frame, even though the width and height were fine.

This would be fine for a rear support cart, but we needed the front side as well. There is no length adjustment for the placement of the front wheels. The single length adjustment concerns the placement of the harness.

Unfortunately, this placed the front struts behind her shoulder blades and made it impossible to use the front stabilizer bar, diminishing overall support. Compared to a leading competitor, this is lighter, with better quality wheels and about half the price, but less adjustable.

If your dog is of average proportions, this wheelchair really is the best option out there.

We purchased this for our senior Pug who had lost her ability to stand (and to control her bladder and bowel). She spent the previous 2 weeks sleeping on a pillow on puppy pads in a diaper. She was not in any pain and still loved to eat! We put her in the “cart” for a few minutes a few times the first day; she just stood there but at least she was standing.

Over the next few days, we kept her in the cart for several minutes each time and she started trying to scoot a bit and began regaining some extremity strength. Still, we kept her in the cart for only short periods of supervised time.

She then began standing on her own for a few seconds, though wobbly. Each day, her strength and progress improved. It has been 10 days and our sweetie is now WALKING on her own, pottying on her own and we have not put her in the cart in 2 days.

At 16+ and with limited vision and hearing, our Lucy is still with us and is enjoying life again. This cart made it possible and we are as thrilled as we are thankful.

OK, so there are cheaper chairs on the market but I’m really impressed with what a solid and easy to use piece of kit this is. It also fits really well. The unboxing felt very luxe – a bit like opening an exciting new bit of tech.

I was lucky because my 15yr old dog with arthritis didn’t take long to get the hang of it and with some gentle, patient coaxing and lots of praise he can now walk around the block again and go the toilet without falling over or yelping in pain.

As it’s just taking some weight but he is still able to use all his legs I’m hoping he will be able to rebuild some muscle tone. He’s only had it for a week but he seems happier and more alert – probably because he’s getting his exercise and I’m thrilled because I have a happy dog again.

This is a nice product with a few frustrating issues. The push pin they use is the first item. I love the fact they made parts adjustable. It is terrible though that the push pin design is so flimsy and it turns inside the tube 95% of the time you are trying to make an adjustment.

Not easy on the dog you are trying to adjust to or your back. Having to pull the whole thing apart to adjust the pin back in place is irritating. Next, the straps in the back (to secure up the belly at the legs) didn’t seem the same quality as the harness.

The straps in the back are thinner and already have snags. This happened day 2. Overall I’m glad I bought it, but I struggle to believe it is worth the price.

While the concept is good, the sizing is not accurate. I measured my dog in every way. He is a petite cocker spaniel, and the measurement for the waist is not accurate. nor does the length fit as described.

It is too small for the measurements listed. It is not worth the trouble of returning as I too am disabled and no means of transportation, so I will donate it to the local humane society. very disappointed as I depended upon the accuracy of the description and measurements listed.

My dog is a service dog that is no longer able to walk, but he is learning to get around in his time of disability. I would advise, with the caveat of ordering a size up. I did get a harness to lift his hind quarters, and he is able to get around using it with help, and he is very creative and brave, plus at 13 years old he is amazingly cheerful.

I’ve always had amazing experiences with my purchases from Chewy, this one was a definite no in my book. Chewy did nothing! They’re awesome, it’s the product that’s the issue. I bought the item for my beagle mix whom has IVDD.

The design & purpose is what caught my attention. I ordered the item only for it to be entirely too big for her body (when she drags, she starts to come out of it immediately). The concept is nice, the sizing is all wrong.

I definitely do not recommend this item.

I have a french bulldog who is paralyzed. I originally ordered the small size because the picture had a french bulldog wearing it. When I got the bag the neck part was way too small. I called Chewy and got a full refund and they helped me order the medium.

With the medium size the neck part barely fits (still small) and the bag is way too big on the bottom part. This product is not ideal for french bulldogs, and probably not ideal for dogs with thicker necks or “abnormal” shapes.

The wheelchair, once properly adjusted, works very well. However, it took an incredible amount of adjustments to get the chair to work for our dog. It took several days for our dog to get used to using the chair.

We are very grateful that it works well for her, but it is not nearly as intuitive as advertised.

We had to modify it because we have a mixed chihuahua breed so the front chest strap didn’t fit correctly and kept slipping down. Also, the we found the back leg supports kept his back hips too far apart.

But a couple of zip ties and we’re happy. He motors around. Took no time getting him used to it.
