20 Best Wheeled Laptop Bag (2022 Updated)

The rolling bag is a beautiful compliment to my work gear. I have received many compliments on this bag. The space on the inside is a little tight but it works for me since I don’t have a lot of items that I travel with.

One of the features that I like the most is that the handle is practically hidden and I often will hold the bag when necessary and no one knows that it’s a rolling bag. I didn’t give 5 starts because sometimes the wheels get stuck when I’m rolling the bag.

I’m not sure what’s causing this but it has not stopped me from using it. I have just kept rolling the bag until the wheels start moving again.

I recently purchased one this briefcase as a Graduation gift for my step-daughter and she loved it. The bag was beautifully crafted and stitched inside and out. It had many compartments and it had the look and feel of the highest quality through and through.

The sipper broke the first time I used it, today. I will be returning this product. I’m so disappointed.

The case is so durable. The only reason I purchased a new one is because the old one wore out! I had the old case for 5 years. That poor thing got rolled through snow, ice, sleet, and pouring rain without an issue.

In fact, it’s not the wheels that gave out but one of the locks. Yes, it was a bit banged up-it happens when you let your little students roll the case into school for you. Yes, it fell/rolled down a flight of stairs.

Yes, it got tossed a few times into a car at the end of a long day. Yes, it was stuffed to overflowing many a day. But f all that, it was a popped lock that finally made me buy a new case. FAREWELL OLD FRIEND.

This is a nice looking, lightweight rolling pilot or attorney case extrawide. I have had leather bags in the past and while they are a little bit heavier, you cant see much of a difference. Someone came into my office and even commented on the bag as I was preparing for use.

I would recommend it. You cant beat the price.

Pros: long handle, STURDY, rolls smoothly, elegant, lockable, separate pouch for laptop and another one for a notebook within the case. Cons: Accessory pouch inside is a little small. It can’t go wider because it would be in the way of a laptop; perhaps go bigger? Wish it had an accessory loop or something on the outside so I could clip my little fan to during transport.

No place to label the case as yours: no ID tag location, etc.

Pros: This laptop bag is well crafted, sleek looking, and durable. I have gotten many compliments on its look. The various sized compartments allow me to be more organized. Cons: The only drawback is that it is a narrow fit.

With my work computer and my binder, there is not much more space, but I love the various purposed compartments.

I love this bag. It has a lot of compartments. I’m tall and where heels for work and over 6′ with heels the handle is tall enough I don’t have to hunch over to reach it. Also a bonus is the handle pushes down and zips closed so you can hide it if you don’t want to see it.

The leather is very nice and looks professional and expensive.

I have a new job but no office temporarily. I had been using a backpack and bank type box to store and carry my work related items for a couple of months now. Began to experience what may be the beginnings of rotator cuff issues as a result.

I began looking for a roller type bag that can carry everything including a personal laptop, work laptop, iPad, etc. Did my research and bought this bag yesterday in the store. It was very light weight and rolls smoothly, plus I liked the idea of the separate laptop bag for days when that’s all I am going to need.

Transferred all my stuff from the box and backpack last night. To my surprise everything fit with space left over! Today I put it to the test so I will be updating this review later. Currently the only suggestion I have is it would have been nice if it came with a little storage bag for computer cords and such.

Hoping it will fit under the seat in front of me on airplanes for easy access so I can work on flights.

I’ve owned this briefcase for approximately 4 months. If you would have asked me 3 months ago, I would have given this a 5 star review. However, recently, the screws that attach the black plastic handle to the two metallic extension poles began to loosen.

As they do so, they impede the operation of the handle making it impossible to collapse. I had to purchase a Torx screwdriver to tighten them back down. I thought that would be the end of it, but, a week later, they loosened again.

Now I have to carry the Torx screwdriver with me where ever I go with this case. I’m considering purchasing locking compound to paint over the screws so they won’t back off. This is a huge problem that the company really needs to address.

It’s unfortunate, because, in every other regard, this is an outstanding brief case.

I have to travel with 3 (yes, three!) laptops for work. They range from a 15. 6″ Thinkpad, a 13. 3″ Dell and a Microsoft Surface Pro. I have a great backpack for one or two of these bad boys, but knew I would be dying going through airports carrying all three on my shoulders.

I purchased 3 separate rolling bags to compare. The Granada Pro came out the best as far as organization and protection. It has compartments to hold all of the laptops along with corresponding chargers (because they can’t possibly use the same kind), a kindle, Bose headphones, umbrella, other chargers/cords, pens, notebook and I even shoved one of my small packing cubes in it.

The briefcase handle was also very sturdy given the weight of everything in it. The telescoping handle worked flawlessly and the accordion action of opening the compartments gives easy access to pull large items out.

I also had to roll this over a number of cobblestone roads and the wheels, while small, held up to the abuse and I never had an issue with the weight tipping. Overall, an excellent purchase for travel (this case will not fit under an airport seat, in case you were wondering).

I’m a university professor, and I use this bag 3-4 times a week going to the office and sometimes to class. The bag itself is nice, it holds my laptop, papers, exams, and my lunch quite easily. The leather has worn slightly, but in a nice way.

The wheels, however, broke after 9 months (really, 6 months, since I didn’t use it all summer). As in, busted into little pieces. It seems the plastic is very cheap. Supposedly it has a one year warranty and a “limited lifetime warranty”; I am about to test this out and see how it goes.

If they do fix my wheels, and the new ones survive for a year without obvious problems, I will update the review.

I love this rolling bag. It’s design is tastefully done. It rolls easy and just the right size to hold all my business items that I travel with. The shopping experience was excellent. The bag looks just like it is in the picture.

I love the Cognac color that it comes in. I recommend it to friends and family members. Great buy!.

Beautiful and wonderfully made product. You will certainly be traveling in style with this rolling behind you. Very nice size, does not take up too much room, but the compartments give you enough pockets and areas to organize.

Just received this today. Starting off with the good, the handle is good for someone over 6ft like myself and has plenty of room for a quick overnight or 2-day trip (if that is what you bought it for).

The 4 wheels roll very smoothly and keep the backpack off the ground. Now the bad. first, the back is very flat and not very padded. If you were going to wear this as a backpack for more than 15-30 minutes loaded with a laptop, etc.

, it will not be comfortable. And the straps do not have thumb rings for quick adjustments. The tab on the buckles is very small and not easy to grab to adjust. The water bottle holders are a solid nylon-like material.

Any condensation from a bottle will have to be dried before you could zip them up or this will get moldy fast. I’d post pics but don’t see an option for that. The side laptop zippered compartment is interesting and roomy for large laptops.

However, this rests over the aluminum handle with not very thick padding. You could damage your laptop if you pack this wrong. I bought to use use at tradeshows, not short trips. The main interior compartment is one large space.

There are no smaller dividers if you needed to separate papers, folders, etc. And finally, this will not fit under and airplane seat. I do not recommend and will be returning this. Very disappointed and will be sticking with a regular laptop backpack.

I have yet to take my new backpack/carry on bag on a trip, but it has already exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a carry on backpack, and this one can be worn or pulled along via its wheels and handle.

It seems to have pockets aplenty, not only for your extra shoes, but also for your laptap, notepad, and all the essential electronics and gadgets needed for a comfortable trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the volume of the bag, and expect to fit everything needed into it for a week away from home.

I am looking forward to my first flight with only a carry on bag, and I think I have found the perfect one to suit my needs. Thanks Samsonite!.

Good quality but not very well thought out. The side computer pouch too hard to use. My son has to lay his backpack on ground to fit computer in. he just stopped using that part. His water bottle continued to fall out of the cup holder so he doesn’t use that.

The zipper for the big compartment should be in the middle so you can access all of his books equally but he has to open the entire zipper and lay his books down to get to the ones in the back. Also when he unzips his booksack, it topples forward.

I would love in the future if Samsonite corrects these issues bc the quality is great and I have 2 kids that need them.

I bought this rolling backpack for my son as he entered 5th grade. I looked at replacing it with a different color at the beginning of his 7th grade year, then figured why bother? The first one is doing great.

Works perfectly, still looks good. Wheels, pull handle, zippers, seams, all still in tip top shape. If and when I do need to replace it I won’t hesitate buying the same one again. It has held up well!.

Purchased for a petite 6 yr old doing hybrid. Perfect for our purposes, moving all class materials, a lunch bag, water bottle and iPad back and forth. Rolling mechanism adds weight so my child still needs help getting it in and out of the car but can easily navigate it otherwise.

Haven’t even used the straps, so very happy with the pocket to store them.

Very nice backpack—spacious, looks well made, lovvve the pattern, BUT the wheels are sooo loud. My poor daughter took it to school, and kids were shouting that it sounded like a motorcycle! And it does!!! A boy might have enjoyed that, lol, but unfortunately, we’ll have to look for something quieter.

Great design– Tumi makes the best cases for business use. However, there is a problem with the wheels– the case wants to turn rather than go straight. It is unusually difficult to control. I had to replace the first one, and the second is a slight improvement, but still, the four wheel version isn’t quite right.

Not up to Tumi standards of excellence.

I’ve had several Tumis as briefcases and bags for at least 20 years. Love them all, but this is best. Wheels make everything so much easier. Mobile office, space for everything. Way better than carrying something on shoulder and hurting your spine.

Loved the first one so much, I bought another for my wife. We travel a lot and try to limit ourselves to a four pieces of luggage and is my go-to for a carry-on bag. Fits in the overhead from front to back.

It has lots of room for my laptop, a light jacket, dope kit, camera, extra change of clothes and much more. It is easy to get into with lots of pockets and sections so you can stay organized. The water bottle pocket is lined so you dont get other items wet if your water bottle sweats.

Easy to roll or fit on a larger piece of luggage. Very durable, and have had no problems with wheels and the canvas is very durable. Mine has literally been all over the world including a trip to South America and Antartica.

We previously had a Samsonite rolling backpack and unfortunately, the handle broke off after less than three years of use. My daughter loved her previous backpack so I was glad to have found this one to replace it for her second semester in 8th grade.

Like the Samsonite, this one is well made, is incredibly roomy and has many different compartments for books and her iPad. It’s a terrific backpack that she can use for the rest of her 8th grade and hopefully during her high school years as well.

When she’s done, we’re hoping we can use it for our travels since it’s the perfect size for not checking in bags.

I’ve only used the backpack once so far, so it may be early for a review, but for this first use I gave the backpack 4 stars because it did what I needed it to do: stored my laptop and power cord in a waterproof padded compartment, and I put a wireless keyboard and my full medium-sized purse in the main compartment with plenty of room to spare.

The wheels glide smoothly down the sidewalks of NYC, very maneuverable. One thing I will note is that I am a petite woman at 5’2”, and my first impression was that it looked like it would be gigantic if I wore it as a backpack.

It’s really almost like a small piece of carry-on luggage. When I had all my things in it I didn’t even try to put it on my back, it definitely was too heavy for my frame to carry comfortably for a 15-block walk (it was raining, so I considered it, but it held up well and everything stayed dry).

Overall I’m pleased with the purchase and hope it holds up to extended use!.

This is brand new, so unfortunately the review can’t attest to much except the case is absolutely beautiful. I bought it for my daughter who has to take her laptop back and forth to her work and it’s a long walk from parking to office.

She has only used it twice, but loves it. She said the space is great, rolls great, and of course looks beautiful. Really can’t get over how pretty this thing is. I suppose it could work for a guy, but I think it’s especially fit for a girl.

It seems to be very sturdy. After we condition I expect it to last her many, many years.

Just received this and it’s beautiful, however the shoulder strap is missing. This is very important because there are places in many airports where you have to carry the bag up and down stairs. The bag will be heavy with my laptop and other travel necessities and I paid over $200 to get the perfect bag.

The pictures showed a shoulder strap, so Office Depot should make this right. It would be appreciated.

The good: Sleek, good looking, well made – quality materials, logical storage pockets, thin profile, plenty of room for a laptop and basic necessities. The bad: No shoulder strap or hooks to improvise one.

Either hand carry or roller only. Base is not wide enough for it to stand upright by itself. set it down and it’ll tip over. No way to slip it on thru another case handle, so you either hand-carry it or roll it.

Got your hands full? Too bad, so sad! The thin profile prevents you from carrying an umbrella or any other basic item like a water bottle in it. This serve’s me well as I’m replacing a big bulky case that was killing my back from over-filling with stuff “I may need”.

Four stars, as there is room for improvement. Would I buy it again? Yes, I would!.

Beautiful bag for and executive who needs to tota alot of weight and is mainly transporting paperwork,files, and up to 17 inch laptop. Not so great for unintended uses. its just not designed for other things.

the design and function feels very nice though. The concealed handle operated smooth and quietly. Wheels are equivalent to what u would see on roller blades so they should be good for a long time and support a good amount of weight.

As a carry along bag. the handles are comfortable even under weight.

love this bag! bought it for my 10 year old daughter. yep, for a 10 year old. Due to covid, she is 100% remote. Which means, she has to come to work with me, everyda. I needed a bag that would fit her personal gaming laptop, all of her books, charger, mouse, headset.

her chromebook is smaller and is in a seperate bag from school. love that i can fit everything in it and wheel it around! great reliable bag.

I use this every day (few months). The rubber handle cracked in the middle within the first week. it’s not uncomfortable (I saw this in another review) but sort of surprising to happen THAT fast. The design of the wheels is great (#1 reason I picked this bag was to avoid bowing wheels.

The rear compartment (big one) I used to keep gym clothes and shoes, you can’t open the back part-way, because it’s semi-ridged and opens completely in half.

That’s probably great for packing clothes for over night, but for me I’m just using it in place of a gym bag and jamming things in. I like the blue accents. The telescoping handle seems to be made better than some.

It’s light-weight empty. which is the #2 seller for me as I need to carry it up and down stairs daily. It’s good value. Glad I bought it, but I think I’ll be looking for something more “high-end” in the future.

Like many working women, I found myself carrying too many bags into the office on days I work there–including the now-dingy work laptop bag my laptop came with–and back home for remote work. The Samsonite Xenon was a splurge for my budget, but I find it worth every penny.

Zippers are superb, slight rigidity in the outside shell means items don’t sag through, and there is room for binders, files, cords, and peripherals. It wheels like a dream, and the stand for keeping it upright keeps the load balanced even when I’m in and out of it removing or putting items back in.

It’s classier looking than my colleagues’ legal cases that roll, and I love that it doesn’t READ as a laptop bag and advertise to everyone that electronics are inside. Yet it’s still a practical size between a laptop bag and a small piece of luggage.

I had a 10-Year Old bag which is quite similar to this by another brand but it was the two-wheeled variety and I was looking for an upgrade. This perfectly fit the bill and seems to be excellent quality.

I’m not a fan of the flimsy extension pull handle but we will see over the course of time how it holds up. This bag has so many more little pockets and organizers than my old bag, I was able to quickly move all of my belongings over and have plenty of extra room to spare.

The wheels also roll effortlessly in all directions so I couldn’t be happier with the purchase!.

I recently purchased the Samsonite roller bag. It has numerous spacious comparents and pockets. For air travel, it fits easily into the overhead compartment bins and qualifies as carryon size appropriate.

The 4 casters are ideal and move quite easily. I am a little wary about the extended handle as it appears less durable but with the Allstate Product insurance policy for a nominal cost, I should be wholly covered.

I have many containers to take into a client’s home, I sell wigs and so I have a lot of inventory. The container with my catalogs and accessories was the heaviest of all the containers and sometimes would hurt my back.

The Solo Rolling Case has relieved my back ache. I just take it out of the back and roll it into the house. I also found I was taking to much “stuff” to a consultation, because of its size it limits me to only taking what I need for that visit.

I looked all over for a solution but most options were to big and would have actually posed the very same problem. Over all I love the case. I would have given 5 stars but the straps are very hard to close and the handle to pull it seems a little flimsy so I have been gently pulling it up and pushing it down.

Very sturdy case. Quite impressed with the construction as i had wrestled around with several rolling bags in the airport this weekend and had lifted it up by the fully extended handle, filled with about 35 pounds of documents and water bottles.

The case rolls very smooth and the wheels held up nicely after rolling across choppy cement and asphalt. The only thing that i am still not too sure about yet is the hanging file brackets. they case seems to be too wide even for the wide variety of folders.

not sure if there are other styles of folders out there that will fit. nevertheless. the velcro held the work laptop nicely, and the rear portion held the personal laptop nicely, and the front held about 20-25 pounds of files and papers with two small (deer park) water bottles.

The bag is decent for the price. I like all of the compartments – it has three. There is one section for your accessories like calculator and pens. Then you have another zippered compartment for your laptop and notebooks.

Finally there is a third zippered compartment for file folders or 1-2 inch sized binders. It rolls nicely but I haven’t loaded it heavy so I can’t speak to that yet. I do recommend this bag to others; however, if you’re looking for something larger, then I’d go for the next model up.

Pros: Just bought it. It is perfect for the usage I had planned. I teach and have to park far away from office bldg. It allows me to have all I need for my classes without breaking my back, thanks to the wheels and pull out handle.

I ordered this briefcase online and I really did not know what to expect with it. When I received it, I was amazed at the quality of the product. It really was more than what I expected. I love the ease of the removal of the wheels and that it also came with a weather protective cover when I am out in the rain or the snow it won’t get damaged or wet for that matter.

It is large enough but small enough, it is elegant enough and very professional looking. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend this product to any woman that wants to look stylish yet professional.

Very well made and nice looking. Returned it because the rounded corners on the top interfered with putting in and taking out my laptop from the briefcase. Would recommend for a laptop smaller than 16″.

Pros: The product is well designed with ample compartments for a wide range of items including a laptop protective sleeve that is removable. The case is sturdy and at the same time very stylish. The innovative removable wheel system is very light and practical.

Cons: It would have been good to have studs on the bottom of the bag, so when the bag is removed from the detachable wheel system it can sit on the ground without potential damage being caused to the leather base of the bag.

My husband loves this briefcase I gave him for Christmas. It makes it so much easier for him to go through airports not having to carry unless he chooses to. At our ages anything made for comfort is a real treat! Quality and ingraving is very nice.

Very practical, nice size. rolls nicely. Handle pops up and down easily. Carry handles nice too. Easy access to compartments. Nice amount of space in compartments. Only thing that would be nice would be a way to slip it over handle atop a larger piece of luggage for convenient transport.

I have only used the bag a couple of times and I have found it to be a good size and has a great padded pocket that is the perfect size for my Surface! I think I will find the space more accessible the more I use it, and the leather gives a bit.

Nice color and very sturdy handle. The reason for the 4 rating is that the handle zipper compartment is not separate from the actual content pocket. So and when using the handle the contents are open.

Although the bag is great for rainy days, if I am using the handle to roll instead of carry it, the contents will get rained on. That is important for me, but if you are not taking the bag in varying elements you should have no issue.

If there is a way to secure the handle pocket so that the contents are not exposed that would make this a 5 star!.

I used this bag to carry a laptop, and a few folders through new york city. the bag did not survive a month. the two different wheels are riveted to the body of the case, and because there is nothing to keep both wheels pointed in the same direction, so once the alignment goes off, the wheels wear down quickly.

as the month went on, the mounts got even more loose the wheel bearings are starting to go wonky. the handle no longer telescopes smoothly, and I had to glue the screws into the handle. for the price i wish the wheels had a better base which would have significantly improved stability.

I attached a picture of the beginning of my “repairs” i drilled out the rivets and used 1/4. Threaded rod. Likely will have to hunt down and replace the bearings. And will likely have to reinforce the mounting of the brackets holding the wheels to the body of the bag.

Only then will i be able to start thinking about removing my silly solid axle.

I got this as a gift bc I work at two locations and need to go back and forth between them, often multiple times, daily. Previously, I was jamming all of my dual needs items into a milk crate and jokingly calling it my “mobile office”, but this gift is a game changer! It’s the perfect size, fits my laptop, iPad, books and files, with room to spare! Much easier to transport, and looks so much better doing it, too! Fits perfectly behind the front seat of my truck, too.

The area to pack your items is quite small. It will fit probably one overnight outfit, maybe a little more in the summer. Might be tight in the winter with bulkier clothing. It might be a struggle to fit an extra pair of shoes, especially if they are big or bulky.

Will be good for an overnight trips with a laptop though.

Pros: I LOVE this bag (mint color). I wanted to wait to review until I got a few months of travel in. I’ve been using it for about 5 months and it’s held up great. I love that the leather is more stiff and holds its shape.

I travel everyday for work and it’s been great for constantly being put in/out of the car and airplanes. It holds all my files and my 17″ laptop. Plenty of storage space and I get complements on it almost daily.

I’ve used both the wheels and shoulder strap. No issues, easy to take on and off wheels. Cons: The laptop sleeve that came with the bag does not fit my 17″ laptop, but I just use my own sleeve and it fits into the bag.

If you are on a small airplane with the smaller overhead space it will not fit above. I have to take it off the wheels.

Pros: I am so happy with this purchase. It is easy to transport with the removable wheels and looks beautiful. The quality of the leather is very high and the overall appearance is very professional.

I am required to transport multiple computers and peripheral devices for my work and it fits them all perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this briefcase for anyone who doesn’t want to carry a heavy bag.

Cons: I don’t really have any negatives. Maybe I wish it were a little bigger, but it fits 3 computers, a portable keyboard, mouse, portable screen, and portable hard drive. All this and there is still space for notepads, papers, and other basic office items.

Pros: Gorgeous bag! Just the right amount of storage for what I need, easy to remove clips/bag and put them back on, can fit my laptop, files and charger, wallet, cellphone, etc. and the case isn’t overloaded.

I originally bought a McKlein Wenonah (from another company) and the laptop sleeve was too small plus, it would have been far too heavy to carry everything I need on my shoulders. This bag is perfect size (laptop insert even fit my computer!) and I am able to go from client meeting to client meeting without tweaking my shoulders.
