20 Best Wheels For Frs (2022 Updated)

These wheels are awesome! I highly recommend the look these provide on brightly colored challengers (sublime, tiffany blue, go mango, race red). My setup is great for classic muscle while also maintaining traction for all seasons.

I have 20×8. 5 +7 offset in the front and 20×10 +20 offset in the rears without rubbing or need for spacers. I have Continental Extreme contact dws 06 A/S tires with 255/45/20 in the front and 295/40/20 in the rear.

My only other purchase made for these wheels to be safely put on aside from new TPMS sensors are the glossy black Acorn lug nut kit.

These rims make my mustang shine! Love chrome! The design of these Foose rims are great.

These rims change the look of the car. I have a 2014 black mustang. I like the glossy look and they really pop on the car. Took a little longer to put on because I installed the caliper covers also .

There were no Free Lug Nuts. The Sales Rep contacted me to let me know. I said I’d still need them and could he help me find the right ones online. He gave me the specs. I bought them and took them to the shop along with the wheels.

They don’t fit. I can’t find lug nuts that will work anywhere. Not I’m stuck with 5 wheels I’ve paid for and can’t use and I’m still not on the road. Someone in Support is supposedly helping me now but as of now, I have not resolution and am very frustrated and disappointed.

Had my 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad lifted 2″ and suddenly the stock wheels and tires looked so tiny. Wanted a Blackout look without being overly obnoxious. These Method Race Wheels MR701 in Matte Black fit perfectly.

These are your basic, classic white spoke wheels and I’m very happy with them. I can’t tell the difference between Pacer’s version of this wheel and any other company, like Cragar, and they’re a little bit cheaper.

There were a couple paint chips here & there from shipping but it’s not a big deal for my rusty truck. Im also pleasantly surprised with BB Wheels. I’d never heard of them before finding them in a Google search.

Appears to be a smaller company that’s a little more in touch compared to a huge company like Summit, which is where I tried getting my wheels first. Summit’s website said they had the wheels in stock, but after purchasing I got an email saying they were on indefinite backorder so I canceled that order and called BB Wheels.

The person I spoke to was great and the shipping was quick. Would buy from BB Wheels again.

The rims came up on my model year search on eBay, but weren’t correct. I have to return them and get reimbursed. Will update after that. Not sure if the screw up was tire buyer or eBay, but getting the correct rims would have been 5 stars.

I’m really dome with the bad review “service recovery” apologize and offer an apology gift card customer service. Put that energy up front and help the customer find the right rims. An e-mail came after the rims shipped telling me they wouldn’t fit.

“Sorry, they won’t fit, but you can ship them back. ” Instead of “We’ve determined that the rims you ordered might not fit, would you like to consult a rim sizer?”.

I believed I was receiving the rims pictured which had 2 black stripes encircled around the edge of the rim but this is not what I received. Rims received had a red and blue stripes on the rims. I know the website has a disclaimer about what is pictured may not be exact item received, but this is an easy fix.

Further, the white paint on rims had ran before drying and was clearly noticeable.

Before my Foose Legends arrived, some one commented that “wheels wouldn’t make that much difference”. were they ever wrong! Their problem was they had never been close enough to this Legendary wheel to properly address their indifference.

There isn’t a faster or easier way to make this much of a night and day difference. The quality of the chrome plating makes the flow of this wheel indescribably alluring. Half of the whiplash that these wheels cause is from the sudden acceleration and braking associated with the Nitto 555 tires that I ordered mounted & balanced on them.

The other half is from passing motorists. especially other Mustang owners, just to catch a glimpse. I’ve owned many custom wheels in my lifetime, but never once any of this quality and workmanship. The upkeep is minimal because of the smooth and even plating process, brake dust doesn’t have a place to build up.

Chip has outdone himself once again. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase from American Muscle, Thanks Mike and Katie!.

Ordered the Foose NITTO staggered wheel set for my 2008 GT convertible. Spent a few hours installing and cleaning wheels. Ready for a test ride. Backed out of drive and within one or two houses up the street – hissing sound and then low tire pressure light on.

Went back to driveway and both rear wheels flat. Took off and TMPS stem had top have snapped off on both. Found one of the parts in the street. Put old tires back on. Not sure what it hit. Saw another review for a May 2013 purchase where TMPS stem supposedly hit sway bar.

Was sent two TMPS s to put on car but had to call back for flush mount valve stems. Will plan to put TMPS on front and flush mount stems on inside. Will then have to see what happens. I saw other reviews on the set for GTs and worked – just disappointing have to go thru this.

The wheels do look very good!! Just want to drive with them on.

Ordered these with the Nitto tire package. 2 moths or so after install I noticed something wrong with the finish. The chrome was coming off of all 4 wheels and they had already began to rust. AM took them back but I have decided against another set.

I had to remove the wheels and tires to send them back but AM won’t take the tires back so now I’m stuck with tires trying to find a better wheel. I am not the only person to report this so beware.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe recesses for the lug nuts are smaller than stock, so you’ll have to run spline or torx lug nuts because a regular 22mm socket will not fit into it. You could shave down the socket to use standard lug nuts, but the socket walls would be pretty thin.

Other than that, they are a great wheel. Running them on the rear of my 2017 Challenger T/A 392 with 295/45 R18 Nitto NT05 drag radials.

Bolts right up with no rubbing or any issue whatsoever. Excellent fit and finish.

IšverstiShow in original language2014 SRT challenger fit good with 305/40/18 nitro drag radials, about a fingers width of clearance on the inside. Look good, would recommend them. You will need to get the Gorilla small diameter lug nuts and Gorilla tool as the stock lugs won’t work.

I bought a set of these in 17 x 9. 5, with 46mm offset for the front of my C4 Corvette and they fit great. For the rear of the car I wanted a 17 x 11 wheel so I had to buy the more expensive 405 series torque thrust for the rear.

The main difference between the two was that the 405s inside portion of the wheel hoop was better finished. Additionally one one of the 515s two of the heli-coils needed to be tapped in to sit flush.

Finally I did notice that on the back side of the 515 says made in China where the 405 does not. Either way the 515 is a great wheel for the price. This is my second set of torque trust wheels and would buy again.

It goes without saying Jegs is great been using them for a long time and never had an issue.

The wheels looks great. I installed tires but was little disappointed when balancing the wheels. The center spoke section wasn’t machined true. At first I thought I didn’t mount the wheel on the balancer centered when I tried to balance it but when I looked at the bead lip and tire, it was true and straight yet the center section was moving slightly up and down.

It did that for both wheels so I just kept them because it matches my rear rims. Probably it wouldn’t have that issue if I bought the 2-piece wheels.

I love the look of these in chrome. I got 20×10’s on the rear and 20×8. 5’s on the front of my ’15 Mustang GT; installed 07/15/15. One of the 20×10’s was received with a slight ding on the edge, but not noticeable enough for me to return.

However, that same wheel developed a leak in November of 2016. A shop that specializes in rim repair found some corrosion on the inside where the tire bead seats against the rim; the chrome was pealing away from the aluminum.

That’s just 16 months on a car that is not a daily driver and has only been driven 2 or 3 times in the rain, never in snow or on salty roads. The shop ground it down and that fixed the leak for about 4 months, then it started losing air again.

This time, the shop found several more locations on the inside that were corroding and ground down the whole bead area around the wheel. When I complained to Foose, I was told tough luck, it’s out of warranty.

Now I’m waiting to see if the others develop the same problem.

Definitely not the outcast in this town. With just the first drive to the gas station I was approached by two mustang enthusiast with much praise on how good the wheels looked. I am very pleased with the purchase.

And very pleased with how the staggered look turned out. 8. 5 in the front 10 in the back. If you are ready to rock, I am ready to roll.

Almost an exact fit of my original wheels once I removed the set nipples. At less than a quarter of the price to replace. As well as being substantially lighter I think they might even be more rigid than the factory 17s my Abarth came with! Satin black looks amazing paint quality seems pretty good my car glossy black make sure to get tuner lug bolts for these if buying for a fiat not many options for the 4×98 bolt pattern.

Plus if you are doing the same make sure to get lug bolts that the tool fits inside of not around! I ended up buying a second set for when I do my first rotation. The splined ones the tool for what you can get in that thread pattern typically what I have found are not a good option.

If you are questioning if you want to order these wheels or not, the answer is yes. I went back and forth for awhile and the finally just took the leap and purchased these. The pricing is above fair for these wheels, considering everywhere else was more expensive and wouldve been a good $200-$300 more then what these were for a set of 4.

I am so pleased with these and love the way they look. And the shipping was impeccable. I got them in a decent amount of time considering Im on east coast and they came from west coast. Im overly happy with this purchase and I would sufgest you also just take the leap and say yes to that purchase button!.

Wheels shipped and arrived fast. This 527 is a cool design, a replica of a race wheel without the exhorbitant cost. The black chrome finish color I bought is spot on and fit is perfect. 17″ & 18″ / +25 and +35 offsets will fit, just depends what look you want.

You will need new acorn style lugs. AutoAnything also carries suspension options to lower the car for that perfect stance.

These Things look absolutely awesome on my GMC Canyon. i would highly recommend the purchase of these wheels. Unfortunately i can only give a 4 star due to the ordering issues, when it came to making sure that this wheel would fit my truck i have to speak to 2 different customer service reps that just said doesnt look like these would work, and didnt give me any options to choose from, they made me go through and send them ech part number i was interested in and would respond yes or no.

finally a 3rd rep reached out to me (didnt get his name but thank you) and took the time to actually work with me in selecting the perfect fit. Even got the perfect tires to go along with the look i was aiming for.

Bought these a long time ago when we first lifted my wife’s TJ. They looked awesome and still do. We’ve taken her jeep wheeling countless times and for black rims not a single scratch or blemish. Just pressure wash them and literally good as new.

10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE.

Bought these wheels from somewhere else before I looked on this site. Summit was actually cheaper by like 10 bucks per wheel so I lost out on that. Overall, very good wheel. Haven’t had any problems with them at all.

Could not decide between the black or the chrome for a white 98 F-150 and happy I went with the the black. The black compliments the white truck dang good.

As far as appearance goes the stock wheels always leave a bit of a “MEH” feeling from the GT’s, even the 19″ Premium and Brembo wheels are sort of Boring. So the fix is to spring for a set of these Forgestar wheels.

They look lightweight because they are and they really POP on a visual mod that also helps reduce your Mustang’s unsprung weight over the OEM Wheels. I purchased a set of staggered wheels since there are not too many choices that offer an 11″ inch width for the rears.

And I wanted to maximize the the contact patch on my rear wheels. So I have 20 x 9. 5’s on front and 20 x 11’s on the rear. Fitment was pretty easy. these line right up to your hub and bolt right up.

The only snag I ran into was mounting the rear wheels. I had the car on a lift so the entire suspension was unsprung and the rear axle places the upper inside of the 11 inch wheel against the lower portion of the chassis where the the rear coil housing is bulged out slightly So the rear 20 x 11 wheel won’t spin unless you fully torque all the lug nuts down and then the wheel just barely spins, that’s how tight the clearance is.

So for the rear wheels to clear its better if you place the rear on jack stands with the suspension loaded. Then the Wheel will spin freely when mounted. Look at it this way. You’re not going to be doing flying jumps with your car so the rear should be planted and the rake and the spoilers are designed to apply constant downforce.

So technically you’ll never be in a situation where the wheels ever rub on the chassis. American Muscle garantees fitment. And I can say for sure. they are spot on correct. And the 11 inch wide tires look truly mean and all about serious traction.

I installed these wheels on my sterling grey 2013 GT. I was worried about the color since the wheel color was close to my body color. Pictures really don’t do them justice. The color is close, but just a few shades darker than the color of my car.

I have them wrapped in Hankook RS-3 305/30/19. The wheel itself is shorter than my stock 18’s, therefore you will have a larger wheel gap, but only by a 1/4 of an inch. It honestly is not a big deal to me, but if you are looking for a flush look then you may want to look into coil overs.

I have steeds lowering springs, but there is still a comfortable gap present. They came packed well and over their course of a month I have only noticed 2 imperfections. This was only when I was cleaning the wheels, but you REALLY have to be looking to see them.

I got the four wheels (19×9, 19×11) installed by discount tire and it only cost $120. That included balance, installation of TPMS and the wheels to the car. I would defiantly buy again.

Have had same only a staggered set on my 2011 MCA edition Mustang. Lower weight, good looks and close to the original appearance. Now I have the same on all four corners.

Let me first say, if you are looking to push your mustang in all departments, this is your best bet for rear wheels. If you’ve been considering Forgestar wheels you know they are an excellent quality wheel and my experience agrees.

I gave them a 4 star for finish only because while installing the tire one of the rims paint egg shelled in a 1/2″ section from the pressure. It might have just been a weak point because there was no mechanical interference it was only the rubber touching it, but the shop agreed to pay for the minor repair.

Over all though I love these wheels. The 19″ is a great fit for these cars and the tire selection is actually getting pretty good. The 305/30/19 i have on the 11″ is the perfect fit and many brands offer tires in this size.

Now My last note on the install. I took them with tires to a few shops and everyone refused to install because they said they would rub and that they mocked up one and it hit the inner wheel well. And I was perplexed because its recommended from AM and I only have Steeda Ultralite springs so nothing too extreme.

Well after thinking about it i noticed they were putting cars up on pad jacks and letting the axle hang. So I took it all back to the shop i last used and said lets jack it up by the axle this time and see what happens and after a while i decided to give it a try and this time since the axle was supported and not hanging down, the rim fit just fine with no rubbing.

I would be cautious however, there is not much room for play and be prepared to fine tune any axle placement with and adjustable pan hard bar or you may have rubbing on hard turning or over bumps.

Great fitting wheels! They clear the PP Brembo brakes no problem, and look great in Gunmetal finish! Can’t beat the classic 5 spoke design!! 20×9. 5 fits perfectly on my car with BMR lowering springs.

No rub and no fender gap! I paired these with some 275/35 Nitto tires and they look great. No tire stretch or bulge. just perfect!.

I finally caved in and bought these for my 06 Premium GT. They are 18×10 front and rear wrapped in MT Street comps 275/40/18s. They fit perfect and do not rub even being lowered 1. 5 inches. Anyhow, Ive wanted these since day one but never wanted to spend that kinda money on them.

After 4 sets of wheels I said its time. When they arrived, I was shocked on how great they looked (never seen them in person). A few days before I installed StopTech slotted rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads, even paint matched my calipers to the car.

These wheels just pop on my car. I get so many compliments.

I ordered two 9s for the front and two 10s for the rear. Excellent staggered look. AM had the wheels delivered the same week I ordered them. My only gripe is that the 9s came *without* center caps. However, AM remedied this issue by sending me replacements no charge.

Also, you’ll need a set of splined drive lug nuts (or any small diameter set) as the stock lug nuts did not fit with these wheels. Additionally, the stock TPMS and associated system *is* compatible with these wheels.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, but I would not recommend these to a friend. Only because I don’t want them to have the same wheels as me!.

Finally took the plunge to get new wheels on my 2011 Brembo car–could not have been more disappointed in Forgestar or AM. Two of the four wheels arrived with significant damage. BOTH of the replacement wheels (which took a week to get here) arrived damaged.

I was told they could not offer me a replacement because they are out of stock–not mentioned at the time of my purchase or the first RMA–and was offered $200 store credit to ignore the really quite significant damage.

Either nobody is checking these before they ship, or AM needs to take a hard look at their shipping partner. I expected better.

These wheels are a perfect fit for the stock height suspension on the GT with performance pack. I have the 20 x 9. 5 up front holding the Nitto555 285x35r20 and the 20 x 11 on the rear with Nitto555 315x35r 20 Zero fitment issues, love the look and ride feel.

Far better than the original p zero set up.
