20 Best Wheels For Suv (2022 Updated)

I wanted a second set of wheels and tires for my vehicle so I purchased 4 of these wheels from Jegs. Nice looking wheels but when the tire shop mounted 4 brand new Cooper Discoverer At3s, they had trouble balancing them.

Tire shop said the issue was in the wheels (out of round maybe, poor welds. ? Made in China). He couldn’t get them to balance out just right. I went to a second tire shop and paid for an additional balance.

They could not get them right either. Now at highway/interstate speeds it starts shaking at about 65mph and forget about 70mph. Now the tires are mounted and I’m kinda stuck with the situation. I recommend spending a little more for a quality wheel.

Rims are fine. They are as described…. However…. Was charged an additional 20-some dollars for center caps that “weren’t included” with the wheels…. But came in the same box as the wheels… original packaging….

that was shipped from a different state than where BB is located…. Sure… but hey, everybody has to make a buck.

Shipped quick, we’ll packaged and undamaged. I used VSW-C102B 4. 25 inch push through center caps that I bought from Summit that worked perfectly. One wheel required more counterweight than usual but that happens with steel wheels.

I am very happy with this purchase.

I probably looked at hundreds of different wheels everywhere I could find online. I kept coming back to these. The ability to see them with my color jeep in the shopping tool sold me. They really jump.

I wanted something different than the same old black, hi octane brand I see everywhere. Great thing about Jeeps, there are soo many great options.

These wheels were a great fit and complemented my silver JK nicely. Don’t trust XT to mount and balance these though. I received these and put them on my JK right away. The first time driving there was a terrible vibration and I knew right away something was off with the tires.

I took them to my local shop and they said the tires had not been balanced correctly. They balanced them correctly and the ride was fantastic, smooth and minimal road noise.

I only got the wheels from ET, got the tires locally. Wheels were a bit expensive but gave me a custom look. Plus, Black Rhino is a good company and makes quality products. The cost was worth it. By the way, the reviewer that said that the wheel covers are blue.

Those are protective stickers for shipping, just peel them off.

replaced the chrome stock wheels on my 2018 F150 with these. They look great with the new Mud terrain tires I got too. Only issue was that you need splined lug nuts because of the deep lug nut wells but other than that they are great looking wheels.

they are a mat black as opposed to shiny black which adds to the aggressive look. Another added plus is the better warranty they have than other brands.

Customer service gave me the wrong information about the fitment I told him I was handicap in they still didn’t help me get the right rims cheaper ain’t always better this is the wrong place to buy rims.

Dont let the low price fool you, I took a chance on these and I am glad I did. I have had several of other top brand wheels on different trucks over the years and these are every bit as good and at a better price.

They look great and the quality is just as good as other wheels that cost a lot more.

April 2018 – My wife being a tomboy she really liked this wheel and doing some extensive reading I felt these wheels along with the Michelin tires she liked would be an excellent fit and they are. She has a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge that had 5 x 4.

5 or 5 x 114. 3 and the old wheels were 15 x 7’s and these new ones are 16 x 8’s. Her old wheel had an offset of +12mm and these rims were a negative 5mm. Doing the match I felt they would be very close in sticking out away from her truck but with the 265/70/R16’s we mounted they were right at the “EDGE” pun intended of her truck wheel wells.

255’s would have been better but at 1/4 inch less wide this was negligible. With this little truck and these larger wheels and tires it really makes this Truck look like a Tonka Truck. 8 out of the 8 guys at Discount Tire thought this truck was awesome with the new wheels and Michelins.

I would recommend these wheels to anyone owning a Ranger or a vehicle with this bolt pattern. Awesome look on an awesome Truck!!!!.

Was looking for a durable but clean looking flat black rim for my 2007 Silverado Work Truck & could not be happier with the Ion 171! These rims are a no frills, classic look which is exactly what I wanted.

I was in the market for wheels and tires and I came across the Black Rhino Overlands and fell in love. I ordered them with out seeing them in person so I was a lil on the edge hopping they would give the look I was going for and let me tell you they sure did! Got them In 17×9.

5 mounted up on a 35 inch tire and boy do they give off that aggressive look. The poke on stock fenders I would say is an inch so you get that nice offset and just picture how they will stick out with some slim flat fenders! The matte black finish looks great also good quality.

I like how they concave in the middle leading right into the center caps witch are bolted on and removable. There are bolts leading around the lip of the wheel that are hand tight from factory adding to the style.

All and all I’m happy with my Overland wheels from Black Rhino!!.

The Extreme Terrain sales agent recommended I look at these rims and I found they were perfect to complement my build. The 17×9. 5 gives a wide stance to the JK and I love the satin black color. They have a very strong, overbuilt feel which will provide the support I need for off-roading.

The 9. 5” width does make me a just a little nervous about scraping the bend near the lugnuts on rocks but overall I love the look and the feel of these wheels!.

I added the Rubicon fenders, no lift (for now) and 37*12. 5*17 KO2. This combination puts the outer edge of the tires about 1. 5″ outside the fenders, ZERO rub under normal driving. I do have minor rub crossing a deep ditch but this is more of the family mall crawl/gentle off road vehicle so it is perfect.

The wheels only have aprox 1-1/2″ of wheel lip,not even close to picture in ad representing the deep set back,not even the same wheel! I asked salesman point blank about how deep wheel was,He flat out lied to me.

Buyer beware.

These are the 2nd set I’ve got from Custom wheel express. Great quality with a great price. Made sure of the fitment first, but got the negative offset & a little wider to make them stick out a bit. Definitely would recommend these guys and their product.

I love my new wheel & tire package. They are a perfect fit and enhance the look of “Beastie” tremendously. I was looking for a gloss finish but went with the matte look and i couldn’t be happier and i got them within a week of ordering.

This is not my first purse and deff won’t be my last!!!!.

Great wheels, they look awesome, I was hesitant about getting matte black, I’ve had glossy before and lived that but so far I love these even more. They came packaged smartly, no damage from shipping at all, which was a concern for me from experience.

These are hot right now, with good reason, they look great and the design is perfect for low maintenance cleaning, unlike my last set, these are much easier to clean.

Great wheels, looks great with tons of compliments. The Vision Prowler 20×12 fits perfect on 365/60R20 BFG All Terrian. They fit great with no scrubbing on my 2001 Jeep TJ with Rough Country 4 lift. After lift and bigger tires it took it about 8 taller.

Look nice but the center cap bolts they supply are incorrect length. They are too long by a half of an inch. They also didn’t clean the threads on the holes for center cap bolts. Had to take a tap to clean out the paint.

Very disappointing for companies not to quality check stuff.

I already had two brand new wheels and I needed two more. I came across these and had to snatch them up. Price was decent, shipping was fast.

The construction of this wheel is very nice. Fit and finish. Comes with center cap and the tools to install. All hardware is very durable. You will need aftermarket lugs though. The 17×9. 5 came with a nice offset.

No spacers needed on stock setup. Will fit stock setup but Best suited for a 2. 5 inch lift though for total clearance if running 35’s.

Great wheels. Chose to have them mounted and balanced wrapped in 35×12. 50 Nitto Trailridge Grapplers. ***NOTE*** Make sure to get some new lugnuts, the factory ones won’t work with these wheels. XT was out of the ones for these wheels.

Definitely recommend the tailgate reinforcement kit and spare tire relocation kit for matching spare. These tire/wheels are quite a bit heavier than factory set.

I bought this wheel for a spare for my Jeep. I love these wheels!!! They look great on the Jeep. I bought one that was open box due to it being for a spare. This thing is in great shape. The only thing that is even the slightest bit off is some of the finish is off of some of the bolt heads around the outer edge of the wheel.

No major issue for me!! And it saved me like $150!!!.

These wheeels look absolutely amazing on my truck. They shipped already mounted on Dick Cepek Fun Country tires, and they definitely fit the “off road” look magnificently. They have just enough flare to poke out a little from the wheel well which makes the tires look better.

I will continue using these wheels for years to come. Definitely worth every penny.

I have no words for how incredible this transaction was. I think I ordered my wheels on a Sunday and they were delivered that Friday. I had new wheels on my rig by Saturday morning. Will be recommending BB Wheels to friends and family, and will definitely be ordering from them again should the need arise.

Im in love with my new rims. Look great and at a wonderful price. Ive received so many compliments in the last two weeks. I cant stop starting at them. The offset gave my truck an aggressive stance.

Nice rims. My installer did have to Tap a few of the rock rail holes to complete the work.

I went to purchase a new 4runner and a local dealership had one with the XD829 Hoss II Machine Dark Tint wheels on it. I fell in love, but not with the price of nearly $50,000 for a 4runned with wheels.

My husband and I decided to purchase a regular 4runner then add the wheels ourselves and ended up saving over $10,000. I ordered the wheels and they looked awesome on our black 4runner, but 3 months later, all the bolts on the wheel rusted.

We contacted the tire shop we ordered them through and he said XD would send a new set of wheels. Another 3 months went by and we heard nothing. Then, after another 3 months he said that XD would send all new bolts to replace them.

That is 27 bolts PER wheel, not to mention the bolts are for looks and are glued into the wheel. It isn’t possible to replace them without further damaging the wheel. And no, these wheels were never exposed to snow or elements from the road as it was dead of summer when they were purchased.

Needless to say, we will never spend money on XD again. Better to choose Fuel Wheels or another brand!.

The wheels look awesome! Completely changed the look of my Jeep. Im very satisfied with the purchase. I like how its a unique wheel that you dont see everyday.
