20 Best Whisk For Baking (2022 Updated)

Bought the triple pack of Amazon Basics balloon whisks because they were inexpensive, knowing that about half of the reviews said that the wires fell out. 10 months later, the wires fell out of the two that I use the most, so I returned them and used the refund to buy this ONE whisk.

Out of the box, the wires are both heavier gauge (thicker) AND more flexible/springy–a GREAT combination–and I have no worries that the whisk will fall apart. Feels great in the hand (grip and balance), and it’s light-weight.

Shoulda bought this to begin with.

I love OXO products, but I had ordered this item for store pickup, only to have it canceled. I ordered it again because I saw that it was available, only to have it canceled AGAIN. So, when I went to pick up the other items I ordered, I was on a mission and found this item at the store that canceled it and purchased it.

The only negative was that I didn’t have a coupon available to use as it was applied when I tried to buy the whisk a 2nd time and I had used all my other coupons on the initial order. Still happy with I bought, I just wish that I was able to buy the whisk when I initially ordered it!.

I’m so pleased with the Oxo Good Grips small whisk. It’s perfect for beating eggs, whisking sauce or generally anything in smaller containers. It’s useful size is perfect to take with you to use on the go as it’s so compact and light! It’s very comfortable in the hand and the non-slip, easy grip is an excellent feature.

The price is competitive and I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent product in everyway, solid and sturdy it offers a great performance for budding or accomplished chef. Beware, 23 cm is the small if not very small whisk, perfect for small amount of sauce or mixing in a small Bowl.

A must have and a size that is not readily available in most whisk range.

I ordered this as I’ve been cooking from scratch more often and this came in handy when I made ranch dressing! Far easier and quicker to mix with than a small whisk. Also used it to mix pancake mix and it was so much quicker!.

Never realized this whisk existed. Always used a flat whisk but it never whisked like this whisk, whisks! My gravy came out super smooth and was a breeze to clean up just a quick rinse with the sprayer.

I used this whisk to blend eggs, crepes batter, almond butter sauce, and impressed by the design. It picks everything so well, from the bottom and sides of the mixing bowl. You never know how practical these little kitchen utensils are till you get one.

I’m sure, ill be using it a lot in cooking and baking.

These little whisks are super useful for small jobs. I used the smallest one yesterday to whisk a small bowl of cornstarch & water to thicken a sauce. The larger size is perfect for mixing up my kid’s mugs of hot chocolate using powdered mix.

I will definitely use these a lot!!.

I consider myself very thorough at hand cleaning and drying, and I also live in desert climate and let these air dry after thoroughly hand drying. but they still rusted after the second use. I even shook it and blew into the handle to try to get these very dry, but there’s rust at the top of the handle.

They never sat in water and were cleaned promptly after use (I used it to mix a pan sauce). I’m not a fan of silicone whisks because they get gummy or tacky after about a year. but I really don’t like knowing that this whisk set rusts so easily.

I got these because I wanted a simply stainless steel mini whisk to use for my pan sauces, but perhaps I should spend more and find something better quality.

I used my silicone whisk once and discovered the silicone covering the wires was damaged and shrank away from the wires. Now it’s unusable due to possibility of trapped food and bacteria. I wasted $26 on this bc i wanted a silicone whisk to protect my le creuset pans from scratching.

Extremely disappointed. As a chef, I don’t make much money and I want quality tools. I hate that I thought this was going to be a great tool for my cooking arsenal but now I have to toss it :(.

It?s a beautiful kitchen tool that I expect to use and enjoy for a very long time before passing it on in the family. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates fine quality and the pleasure of using a whisk that feels like it was made for your hand.

While packing for a recent move, I failed to pack my kitchen gadget drawer. The BB&B I visited near our new home, 500 miles from the old one. did not have a silicone coated flat whisk. Without hesitation, the gentleman offered to order one for me.

The Rosie Silicone Flat Whisk is much better quality and design than the one left behind. I will replace other items left behind by accident or intent at my new Bed Bath & Behind store in Tyler, Texas.

These little whisks are perfect! I have a 15-year-old tuxedo cat with health issues. I medicate her by blending her meds with Smart Water in baby food (which she loves). The handle of my last mini whisk snapped recently and I had looked and looked for a replacement.

Found several, including this set, but these were the right length. When they were delivered, I was so happy to see the quality (they are actually better than the previous ones I had used). Happy, happy, happy!.

A whisk does a terrible job of getting the corners of some types of mixing bowls, but this is perfect for getting the edges and corners. The handle could be a little bigger, but it gives precise control.

Very sturdy. Solid construction tight tines. Much smaller than I expected, but I kept it, because you have a small sauce pan that you need a small wisk. toggled between 3 and 4 due to the small size.

So I was originally planning to return this because it arrived in rough shape. The plastic wrapping had come loose and half the whisk was stuck in a bottom flap of the box resulting in a whisk that looked like mangled bunny ears.

I realized that target didn’t carry this in store so I couldn’t do a quick return. I decided to keep it and see if I could fix it. I wrapped athletic tape around it and put my mortar & pestle on top of it to try to mash it back together.

It kind of worked and it didn’t break so it is strong quality material!.

Love this utensil! It stir gravies completely, getting out all of the “knots” (my Grandmother’s saying for lumps). It also incorporates the ingredients without adding air.

I got tired of my thin handle whisks. I even tried building them up. When I saw this one, I gave it a shot. What a joy use this item; pancakes,eggs,hummus,. I highly recommend. Excellent quality and a very good price.

It also cleans up easily. If you need a new whisk, look no further.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for the wife, and she is very happy with it. She has wanted an immersion blender for some time now, and was very impressed with how powerful this one is. I bought this set to give her more features, and feel it was well worth the money.

My one this is replacing did the job faster. I do like that the blade end is detachable from the motor. The included attachments seem a little flimsy. As it’s unlikely that I’ll be using them often, I’ll probably never know their durability.

I love, love, love this wisk! It makes quick work of any task. I have a pretty minimalist kitchen (no toaster, no blender. ) so any item coming into my kitchen has to pull its weight. This wisk makes a great whipped cream for sure, but it also breaks down clumps in sauces and soups in no time.

It works wonders making a matcha latte without the need of a separate matcha wisk. And it lays flat in a drawer! Great product!.

This is one of the nicest whisks I now own. I collect whisks and believe me I have a gob of them. This whisk has great balance, which makes it easier to whip, or just stir with out slopping your ingredients all over.

I have had many a mishaps with a top heavy whisk. The whip part is perfect for omelets, lots of air incorporation. The handle is just heavy enough, to give good leverage for blending puddings and sauces.

I can see why this is Mr. Kimball’s favorite whisk, it’s now my top favorites too.

I did not hold anything better in my hands. whip cream very quickly. Quite heavy, my former whisk weighs 45 grams, the weight of this – 90 grams, but in practice I realized that this is only a plus! Just consider, the bowl with the corners of the bottom does not fit, you need a more round bottom, since the volume of the ball is large, it does not reach deep corners! I really love it! It turns out a terrific custard, dough for pancakes, and much more! Highly recommend !.

It is a really versatile great quality kitchen utility item. I loved that these are in a set of 3 which makes it so convenient in kitchen to use for multiple purposes. They are light weight and hand doesn’t hurt while whisking.

They are well made and doesnot look flimsy. They are very easy to whip and cleansing is also hassle free. They are chrome plated which keeps them rust free too. They are a great kitchen tool and I use it almost everyday for several purposes.

I also want to mention that there is a loop at the end of handle which makes it easy to hang for proper drying.

These whisks came in a pack of three, one of each size. I love that I was able to get a variety pack of sizes rather than have to get each size on it’s own. I do a lot of cooking, and with a very helpful five year old in the house, it’s good for me to have extra tools on hand for her to use.

These whisks have a nice weight to them. I was actually surprised at how weighty they felt in my hand. They aren’t flimsy like I expected wire whisks to be. I’ve been using them for a while now, and no complaints.

They are holding together and still look like new.

The whisks are heavy duty silver toned metal. They are tightly coiled and all have hooks at the end to hang them. Different coiled whisks sizes makes them more appropriate for various jobs. The handle is sturdy and easy to hold, non slippery.

They are well made and does not look flimsy. The actual whisking of dough is very easy and doesn’t bend while in the act. Cleaning them is easy also, you can wipe and put in dishwasher for easy cleaning.

Have used this both as a whisk and blender. The tool is comfortable to use and I achieve perfect results each time. I have a small kitchen and space is limited; to be able to store the whisk flat is an added advantage.

I certainly appreciate the easy way it dismantles for cleaning. It’s a typical Joseph Joseph item combining practicality, use and pleasing appearance. I would encourage anyone looking for kitchen equipment to visit the shop or site.

I already have a few whisks that I use all the time, but occasionally, I would have a need a flat whisk, or a silicone whisk, which I didn’t have. This was an easy way to add both to my collection! I received this as a gift, and it was missing the bottom piece needed to twist it.

I went to exchange it in store, but all of the whisks in the store were also missing that bottom piece, so I had to have it ordered. When I received the one that was ordered, it had a piece of plastic holding the bottom piece in place.

They should start doing that in-store. If you are buying in-store, make sure it has that bottom piece before purchasing! The store carried both green and multi-colored, but unfortunately, both color options are bar-coded the same, so there was no way to order a specific color.

It was just random chance, and I unfortunately did not get the color I was hoping for, but I still like the product even if I didn’t get my first choice in color. Would recommend it; just make sure it is not missing that bottom piece!.

Now, here is an example of innovative Joseph Joseph company at their best. This is a fantastic, thinking outside the box product that any person that cooks will appreciate. First it is a very nice, light silicone whisk.

With a light flick of the wrist it quietly functions effectively either opened or closed. The non-stick, non-scratching silicone is easy to maintain and seems resistant to deforming also. The twist and fold feature adds wonderful extra value by making it storable in a flat drawer with most other kitchen utensils rather than upright and handle down in a tool bin where whisks inevitably tangle with other implements.

The mechanism is so simple, yet ingenious! It comes in a nice lime green and white colour, which matches my kitchen decor, and the handy end cap which is the rotation control also pops out which disassembles the whisk for cleaning.

This is a something that I daresay most other whisks cannot do, which has been a minor peeve of mine, thinking of the unwashed residue that must accumulate in other whisk handles. Should you wish to hang your whisk, for example for drying, the end cap also has a pass-through hole for that.

Ok, it’s not rocket science, but heck, nobody else had improved on the basic whisk design for decades. It even looks quite beautiful, graceful. organic, and could almost be a piece of modern art.

It is sturdy, well-made and works okay, but it really is small. It says (even on the tag on the handle) that it’s 9″ long, but I measured mine and it’s less than 8. 5″ including the loop on the end. I should have ordered the 11″ version.

Your hand could get very hot trying to get to all of the sauce in a large pan. I ended-up turning the pan around to get to the other side, but that could get annoying.

I just love this shop. i first met the owner Adam in NB when he did a road show in Moncton. I was very impressed by his knowledge and patience. That night I purchased a knife and some sharpening stones and I have ignored all my other knives since.

The quality and sharpness of a Japanese knife is like no other. i actually smile when i prep food now. I recently went to Charlottetown on business and brought some of my knives to get professionally sharpened.

When I arrive Adam was closing up shop and leaving to Newfoundland on a work roadshow. When he looked at me walking up with a box of knives in my hand he turned around open the shop up and registered my knives without question.

I was expecting getting them back in a week or so and pay for shipping. Adam asked me when i was leaving town. i told him next day at noon. He said don’t worry i have an employee who will get this ready for you by then.

I picked up the knives next day as planned and they where ready to go and my German steel knives work are actually sharper now than the day i purchased them. I picked up some accessories while i was at the shop and there is no comparison with the quality of a simple whisk i purchased, i have gone through like 5 in my life but this one feels right in your hand and just gets the job done right.

Best flat whisk I could find. It has an angle at the end which makes it easier to scrape bits form a skillet, or even whisk in a bowl. Great find. I bought another flat whisk, also nice, but I use this one more – due to the angle at the end and the comfy handle.

Well designed, high quality, made in the USA whisk. I had not heard of a roux whisk till I tried this whisk. I now consider it an essential. Makes stirring and whipping in a bowel, large measuring cup or pain easily.

Great for instant anything like potatoes and of course sauces roux or other wise!.

Very useful. Works as advertised and was perfect for cooking cream of wheat in a pan that I did not want to scratch with metal utensils. Recommend.

My grandson is a cook. He finally got his own apartment and I question him about needs for the kitchen. He said the only thing he knew he needed was a whisk. So I went to Crate and Barrel and bought him 2 different sizes.

He loved them.

Somehow I missed that this stainless steel whisk is hand wash only. It is a mystery to me why it cannot be made to withstand the dishwasher, all my other whisks can. However it really cannot. I put it in the dishwasher a couple times and now it collects dishwasher water in the handle that seeps out the next time I use the whisk.

Gross. Really disappointed this whisk isn’t more functional, they are so hard to hand wash on the inside. Gave it 2 stars because it really is a great whisk if you don’t mind always hand washing it, and Crate and Barrel has excellent customer service.

I was looking for a smaller whisk since we have a larger whisk that is too large for baking/cooking smaller portions of food. The size of this whisk is perfect for my needs and feels sturdy. While the item was back ordered and did take a few months to deliver, I am pleased with whisk.
