20 Best White Barn Candles (2022 Updated)

These candles are a disaster. They drip and melt into a puddle. They do not burn like other pillar candles. If they are in a jar they loose their shape and create a soup. Do not buy these. I gave one star because there was no thumbs down.

I left one burning and it melted all over the dish on to my mantle. Dangerous.

The wick on the candles is not secured to the bottom so the candle does not burn all the way down. The floating wick means that you cannot get the full burn time out of the candle because the wick doesn’t hit the bottom of the candle.

3 stars because only about 1/2 to 1/3 of the candle is useable.

These pillar candles worked perfectly for my nephews wedding. We used them on the tables and they burned beaurtifully all night. Well made and great value for the set.

I spent about 30 minutes smelling candles at our local grocery store. I kept coming back to this scent. I bought the last Sequoia Woods candle they had and then ended up ordering 6 of the Sequoia Woods candle directly from the maker (saving about 50% over retail!) but mainly, to have our home smell amazing for the holidays! So happy this was an option!.

Absolutely love this scent of both of these Vineyard Retreat and Napa Cellars. I hope they are always available, I’ve been looking a long time for them, since party lite discontinued them and I stopped buying from them.

Was not impressed with this candle. Smelled more waxy than anything else. I ordered 3 different ones. All had that waxy smell. The lilac didn’t even come close to a lilac smell.

Literally in my top 5 favorite candles and I LOVEEE candles! And just smelling it in the store does not do it justice! When you light it and after about 10 minutes when the wax starts to melt on top and the aromas start to fill the air, the smell is beautiful! The fragrance notes are desert cactus flower petals, fresh sparkling citrus, warm vanilla coconut with natural essential oils.

This smell is what I imagine an amazing smelling tropical vacation resort would smell like if you could walk through a grade of tropical flowers drinking a margarita out of a delicious smelling coconut lol🌅 😋🥥🌺🌸🌵🌴🏖️ A great candle for spring or summer! [brand:bath-body-works].

Is good if you like the scent. What makes this candle tricky for me is that it smells good before you lid it. Once you lid the candle, the smell is off putting to me, it smells like water and cactus with something sweet.

I am sure some people that love this smell, maybe it will remind you of a garden, to me, it reminds me too much if when I make nopales with my food. (I believe it is also called cactus in english). you know that smell when you are cutting it and it is slimy? That’s the smell I get when it is lid.

This is my favorite candle. I love the glass jar which is hot pink. After I finish the candles I repurpose these pink jars. This candle smells so good, and I get many compliments. I would say that it smells great to burn all year long.

I burn at Christmas time as well as summer. Bath and Body Works candles have the best throw, as well. I have had a hard time finding any other brand that compares.

My favorite scent ever, I could burn this candle all year long and it wouldn’t be out of season. One sniff and it’s like instant winter/Christmas feeling. It’s definitely woodsy/musky so if you don’t like those scents this isn’t for you! The candles overall are the best on the market, they last forever and will make your whole house smell amazing.

Every fall, I always pick up this candle during the Bath and Body Works sales. It’s a very inviting and warm scent to have, perfect for when the weather gets cooler. The only downside to this candle is it’s often not in stock or a limited release, so it can be hard to find.

Great scent for the holidays! Fragrant enough but not overpowering. Bath Body Works candles are the best in my opinion. Burn for a long time and always emit great fragrance that you can smell all over the house.

I LOVE Bath and Bodyworks SO much and they just released their Christmas range and on sale so I got 12 (8 of which are still on their way) I have a weakness for Christmas Scents the Balsam, Pine, Mint, smelling of Tree forest and I think these have been the best so far.

I always reccomend Bath and body now over Dusk and Glasshouse and everyone who tries does convert! I just wish Australia has as much Variety as the USA and if body care comes in this, count me in! This Champers toast is such a veautiful classic.

I do not really put my thoughts out much, but this summer, of course, has been a rough one for everyone. When I purchased this Watermelon Lemonade candle, and believe me, I have candles going back to Passionfruit Guava in the 4oz jar.

No, I do not have the income to fill up a closet of candles I have 10. But I do have my scents Japanese Cherry Blossom, my All Time favorite. I have my summer, spring, fall, and winter scents but not like these women with closets full.

I love Bath and Body Work products because they are overwhelmingly strong they are just right. The person who got me hooked passed away from diabetics a while ago. I still have the silver candle stands ahe bought me in 2002.

Bless her Soul. Throughout the years, I have had some medical issues myself that has kept me from enjoying the scents like Strawberry Pound cake, and most of the Aromatherapy products. My mom, of which, I share a lot of my soaps with, just had a stroke.

So, on behalf of Loretta P. Williams, I write this review. She does not burn candles, but I burn the best made candles in the world. Your candles burn all the way down without sute. I have never had a candle explode.

As long as you trim the wick you have a AWESOME Bath Body Works Candle.

I uses bath and body work candles everyday to make my house smell like a dream come true. Champagne toast reminds me of a campfire roasting marshmallows. Absolutely amazing they burn forever and within a few minutes of it being lit your whole house with smell so Devine.

Again Christmas blowout sale is the best time for deals. Bath and body works has the best candles no one can change my mind definitely go check them out I pinky promise you won’t be disappointed.

I love the Bath and Bodyworks Sandlewood Vanilla candle. Omg it smells amazing! The whole house smells like vanila with a hint of sandlewood. I highly recommend this product. The only Con is the prices there a little out of my price rang.

When two of my favorite scents combine!! This is what happens. The sandalwood is very spicy and the sweetness and warmth of the vanilla blends with it so well creating a very unique scent. The three wick candles don’t last as long because they burn quicker but they also produce much more scent than the single wick candles.

I love buying these at Christmas time during the sale because they really have a good throw to them and make the whole room smell so good. I like that there are three wicks because it makes it burn much more evenly than a one wick.

The smell is really nice.

This is an amazing scent!!!! I can’t get enough of it!!! It’s perfect year round and just gives off a fun flirty scent that is phenomenal. It’s like a sweet and with a little extra something to keep fun and different without being overwhelming but still gives off a lasting smell.

Love it in the candle and body products. And the ppl complaining about it being different from the older one are crazy. They smell very very much the same. If your splitting hairs you could maybe find a difference lol.

I adore BBW 3-wick candles because they are just so great quality! They not only smell good, but they also look lovely and they perform well too! This particular scent, Champagne Toast, is one of my favorites and it’s available all year long.

It’s fresh and fruity, but doesn’t exactly smell like your typical fruity scents. It’s neither too strong nor too subtle. It really does remind me of bubbly champagne, berries and juicy citrus! Very sweet and uplifting.

I have the wallflower fragrance version too for smaller rooms.

I absolutely love this candle! It has a slightly fruity scent. Sometimes fruity scents can become nauseating because they are too strong, but that’s not the case with this scent. I also love the 3-wick candles because they burn the wax evenly in the container.

So you don’t end up with a deep hole in the center with a wall of unburned wax around the walls of the container. Speaking of container, I really like the pinkish color with gold writing of this candle.

My only complaint is that I wish the throw was stronger. I don’t have a huge dining room and I was expecting the scent to fill up the space, but I could smell it best when I was sitting at the dining room table.

This is my go-to candle whenever I see a BB&W! The size of the candle doesn’t matter as the aroma of sparkling berries and juicy tangerines will fill your space even after it’s put out. Other than the scent of the candle, I love the color of the packaging as the pink is subtle and compliments the name Champagne Toast.

It is always a celebration when I light this candle but I share the same sentiments as other customers, the prices are getting higher for the quality and scents to be the same which forces me to shop other places for candles.

The old champagne toast smelled so good. I still have one from a couple of years ago that I burn in my room. Something must have changed. New formula? Smells like chemicals. I ordered 10 and returned 9.

This smell is out of this world. You can definitely smell the vanilla and sandalwood which work so extremely well together, but there is also like a like a marshmallow-y and fresh scent to it. It is like the perfect blend for sweet scent and outdoorsy/cologne-y scent lovers!! I only have the single-wick candle, and am now reading that apparently there was a 3-wick one? I need that one more than anything Bath & Body Works please bring it back!!.

He smells like a hard working man who probably wears a blazer, jeans, and good shoes to work. He’s casual, carefree, and sexy. THIS is what this candle smells like. I’m actually offended at how good this smells, and now how much I want to buy my husband some good jeans and a blazer.

I’m in love with this candle. The original Mahogany Teakwood is just too strong for me no matter how many times I have tried to like it. When I saw there was a Mahogany Vanilla, I decided to give it ONE more chance and I’m so glad I did.

It’s such a perfect blend. Neither the mahogany or vanilla overpower one another. They are both so complimentary. The beautiful scent reminds me of walking into the lobby of a nice resort just as I’m about to head to the beach.

When I smelled this in the store, I just had to buy it! Like I couldn’t stop thinking about it even after leaving the store because it smells so original and refreshing. It literally smells like I’m taking a stroll in the countryside.

The aroma is woodsy without being overly cologne-like because it smells natural. The apple scent adds a fresh scent to it so it doesn’t just smell like you’re rolling around in the leaves. When I burned it, I was surprised that the scent is subtle.

My entire kitchen smells like the candle, but they managed to make the candle just right, not too strong, so it really smells like I’m walking outside and there’s a gentle breeze wafting the fresh aroma.

It’s magical! This is a great gift for nature lovers and people who like more natural smelling apple scents.

Usually one of my faves. However, among some of the quality issues many folks have been writing about, the flames are teeny-tiny. It makes it impossible to smell despite its throw. I don’t know why this happens with some candles but not others or why some productions of the same candle but not others.

I have also noticed they’re not burning evenly while some wicks flame out and in other cases the wicks ate too low to generate enough heat to fully melt the wax. There are a couple of others I’ve experienced with some of the newer ones.

I haven’t don’t anything differently so I think maybe on their end they might be? The scent itself is wonderful and I may try to exchange it for another one of the same but they might not allow me since it’s right at the halfway mark.

This is easily a 10/10 throw. Its a very fresh smell. I would consider it gender neutral, as it isn’t very floral, but also not on the cologne side. It smells fresh and clean, with a light fruit touch.

I lit this one in our largest room, being our living room (probably a 15’x20’ room approx) and it fills the whole room and down our hallway, after less than an hour lit. Wicks burn well, without any issues and the wax doesn’t take long to melt to the edge.

Simple, yet elegant packaging too. Definitely a good choice if you like that refreshing type fragrance.

Smells absolutely beautiful and is aptly named as has the lovely smokey smell of an open fire. Not the strongest fragrance, so possibly better in a smaller room.

The Fireside candle is of great quality, lovely aroma similar to that of a bonfire or wood burning, not overpowering in the slightest but enough to fill the room with such a wonderful aroma for hours

So happy this scent is back for Autumn. Wonderfully cozy scent for this time of year and truly scented as advertised!

These are nice candles. The off white color was just what I was looking for. The teal color was awesome! Unfortunately I had to return them because they didn’t fit properly in the Rouge candle holders I bought them for.

I have been buying these wide tapered candles for 5 years in a row now (twice each year 16 count each time I buy) for church meetings per week. They are dripless, clean and lasts for hours. This company I will continue to buy from.

I have tried other brands before but I am a very satisfied customer with this store seller and the manufacturer. Candle fits perfectly on our candle holder.

These are beautiful candles if you do not mind the drips. They last about 12-14 hours and are fragrance-free. They are slightly larger than regular tapered candles- so make sure you have a big enough holder.

The store does not get around to stocking this regularly so buy all you need at one time – or you may be left waiting!.

This candle smells like June in Maine. It’s such a distinctive scent that carries with it memories of childhood and pulling the individual purple blossoms off the big purple bloom. The smell wafting through the spring air, bringing with it the thoughts of endless summer possibilities and the thought of school ending next week.

It reminds me of making bouquets for the table and searching for perfume that smells like lilac. White, shades of purple and even prize hybrid colors of lilacs from Japan. They all have the seductive and lingering scent of Lilac Blossoms which is exactly what this Signature Yankee Candle in the large jar reminds me of.

Its in a beautiful light purple color wax with a sturdy glass jar and lid. The lid is convenient for snuffing the candle as it immediately deprives the flame of oxygen and leaves it extinguished without damage to the wick.

I love burning this candle at all times of year but it especially gives me good memories and hopes for the next summer. I absolutely love the smell of lilacs and Yankee Candle completely nailed the scent of Lilac Blossoms.

With the large jar you get a long lasting candle that lasts for you get months of burn time depending on how long burn for each time.

I just had to write a REAL review on this candle after I saw the only one listed was an unfair 1 star that didn’t even have anything to do with the candle! This Fresh Balsam is from the Christmas PREVIEW Nutcracker collection, and Bath and Body Works hasn’t even put out their holiday goodies yet- as it isn’t even Halloween!!! There are many more Christmas and Holiday scents and items to come, we are in FALL.

but I couldn’t resist picking this up and previewing it for the holidays. In a sea of “Christmas tree” candles (Tree Farm, Evergreen, Under the Christmas Tree), which are all unique in their own way, Fresh Balsam stands out for a true to life and refreshing outdoor balsam pine tree scent.

It reminds me of the way the winter forest behind my house growing up would smell when the wind blew! This particular candle is so cute and detailed. The throw is great- it has been about an 8/10 in my open concept living room, and becomes too strong in bedrooms.

Best of all, no drowning wicks! Pooled out beautifully. The green wax turns deep forest green when burning. The flames are bright and beautiful. I got a good one for sure, and I hope any more I buy will be just as good! Fresh Balsam is always a winner, and is always offered in different packaging.

The Nutcracker is one of my favorites, so of course I was drawn to this one. I am enjoying this fall season and I am going to get another one of these to burn closer to the holidays! Recommended if you like the actual scent of a fresh pine tree, without any other notes to distract.

‘Tis The Season, indeed, for my favorite candle done by Bath & Body Works. So festive with the perfect blend of Rich Red Apple, Sweet Cinnamon, and Cedarwood. This is the most loved aroma in our home for the holidays.

I prefer the red wax, and this year’s Nutcracker theme is so charming, and especially nostalgic. It is like a little diorama taken from a scene of the Nutcracker Ballet on stage, with the curtains and adorable scenes! I am definitely collecting a set to burn and enjoy, and one set to keep in my collection.

This is perfect and nostalgic for me as a former ballerina and love for ballet.

I bought this for the first time last year. I should have known that there was a reason for there only being 3 of these left on the display. The next day the sales person smiled at me and said she was surprised there were any this late in the season.

Do not leave burning candles unattended.

If it is a honey fragrance I’m already obsessed, I find that Yankee and Woodwick make the BEST HONEY CANDLE’S period. The candle was much smaller than I expected but I have burned it everyday since it arrived and it is still going.

Also this little guy is a Powerhouse as I found my entire first floor enveloped in the warm comforting and so beautiful scent. Not overpowering just perfect. The wick gives the cozy romantic crackle my hubby and I love cuddling up to, I seriously just wanted to buy as many large as possible but you didn’t have any!.

I may have sampled nearly every fragrance by now. Although there is not one I don’t like, I’ve become a devotee to Melon Blossom. My favorite room in which to light this candle, is my bedroom. I set the large hourglass on top a high chest of drawers.

I find it soothing as I drift off to sleep. What I love the most is when I leave my bedroom, briefly, and return to the luscious scent of melon blossoms! My bedroom is quite large, but one candle fills the room beautifully.

The ribbed-based taper is getting more difficult to find. Colonial Candle has a nice variety of ribbed-based candles to choose from. The price I believe is a little steep. I was in a bind and had to have the candles or I would have shopped in person where I am sure I could have found a better price.

Adding tax and shipping priced these candles at over $4. 00 each.

I just used my last two candles for a birthday celebration and was thinking I needed to replace them. Colonial Candles have always been my favorite as they do not drip, if you remember to trim the wicks before lighting them.

I almost wish I had ordered two boxes.

I purchase these candles every time they are on Zulily. Colonial Candles are the only brand that I use. They burn longer and cleaner than any other brand of candles. And I use candles several times a week to set a quieter mood for dinner.

The candles do not burn clean. The create lots of black smoke around the glass tube, the drip wax terribly and they a smaller diameter for a typical candelabra holder. Overall, very unsatisfied would not purchase again.

I have been using Yummi Candles for some years now and will never bother with any other brands, The colours are true, they burn evenly, no smoking and no dripping. There isn’t a better candle on the market and I’ve been entertaining business associates, friends and family for the last 30; years.

We love Yummi candles. We own a Bed and Breakfast and have been using Yummi candles for many years. We use candles for breakfast as well as for our dinner. They consistently burn well and do not drip.

These are nice candles & I received them in great condition. They were packed adequately & none of the candles were cracked or broken. I have not used them yet so do not know how they burn.

I bought the whole box. I’ve always had Colonial Candles because they are usually good quality. The ones I’ve bought in the past have been dripless but these are Not. I’ll still use them but I am a little disappointed.

I saw this candle on a new arrival table in the store the other day and decided to try “Coffee & Whiskey” and I also picked up the “Leather & Brandy” as well. While I love both of them, this one really stood out to me.

It gives me such a nostalgic feeling when I smell it. as if I’m in an evening traditional low light Britain pub. The coffee note is what makes this candle unique in my opinion and its only a hint of it as written in the description.

It is more of a masculine scent in my opinion because you do get a potent “whiskey” note, but it can most definitely be appreciated by women as well due to it’s unique smell. I wear the men’s collection body care and it smells similar to “Whiskey Reserve” except without the apple note in it.

I don’t know if this was an accidental or experimental test candle, but it applaud to the team that made it! It REALLY is a nice candle and I am enjoying the two that I bought. The last candle that I enjoyed this much and gave me such a nostalgic feeling was “Paris Bouquet” that uniquely had notes of coffee, flowers and a hint of smoke.

I think what I love about the two new scents that I purchased is that they are not the typical “Bergamot” or “Teakwood” masculine scents White Barn/Bath and Body usually sell. This candle is a winner.

10’s across the board for Coffee & Whiskey!.

First off, I am a male, and haven’t reviewed a candle before. However, after burning this for the first time, I felt compelled to write a review as this candle is outstanding. Like the notes listed, I definitely get the Irish Whiskey, vanilla and hint of coffee.

This would make a great drink, IMO! So, about the aroma, to me, this is an evening scent, like to light after a dinner get together, while serving dessert, and enjoying a cup of coffee. It’s not very strong, which I feel is a good thing, but you can definitely get the aroma.

We usually burn 3, 3-wick candles at a time, one in the kitchen/dining area, and 2 in the great/living room area. The scent wafts upstairs throughout our townhome, when we burn candles. I hope this is continued and definitely need to pick up some more for the future.

Also, I didn’t know, but found there is a men’s line of this scent. Will definitely be trying those products. I highly recommend this candle, we really enjoy it!.

My experience with this candle was the same as another reviewer – I expected the notes to be more balanced. However, While the scent is primarily whiskey, it is smoothed out by the touch of vanilla and hint of coffee.

I do like this, even tho I do not really care for the smell of whiskey. It’s warm & smooth, with just a touch of sweetness. This pooled out in 45 minutes both burns. It filled my 19 X 14 living room nicely, with the scent moving out to the hall and up the stairs.

The scent lingers for hours, after the candle is extinguished! Batch # 2153K3A3. Medium wicks with black dots. The jar looks nice on my mantle, as the color matches the bricks that surround my fireplace.

Side Note: The listed notes for the Crisp Morning Air candle do not match the actual scent! Instead, it smells like the other products with the same name. I had written a review, and it was posted briefly, then taken down.
