20 Best White Coffee Maker (2022 Updated)

I purchased a Keurig K-Slim in November 2021 to replace a 10 year old Keurig that finally gave up the ghost. It worked fine for 3 months and then the “descale” light came on, I did the descale process but it did not correct itself.

I called support, and a replacement K-Slim was sent. The replacement K-slim had a different configuration with 5 prongs(?) instead of the single prong that the previous K-Slim had. I had to call support again, and they sent out a complimentary refillable coffee pod.

The directions on the packaging were not very clear, and I called support, again. I can’t understand why you changed the design. It seems so much more complicated. I don’t know why you couldn’t have just created a refillable pod that just dropped into the existing receptacle instead of having to take the whole thing out to replace it with your reusable pod.

Individual pre-packaged pods are so much more expensive to use than having a refillable pod but I may have to start using them instead. I will likely not be buying a Keurig again, I’m sure that you really don’t care about losing a customer in the big scheme of things but I am very disappointed.

p. s. I rarely, if ever, submit a customer survey (I feel they are a colossal waste of time), so you can understand the level of frustration and dissatisfaction I am feeling right now.

This is my 3rd Keurig in 8 years. First off, when I ordered, I selected the option to get a free box of pods. Then the order form seemed to want using promo code FREEPODS4ME. It wouldn’t accept the promo code at check put but technically the order on the friend end said it would come with as part of a package.

I never got free pods. For spending 99. 00 plus shipping, it would have been nice. I am now seeing this same model in stores for 69. 00-79. 00. As for the coffee maker itself, while it is slim, it is longer so it doesn’t really save space but rather redistributes the space.

The 5 stream design has only worked off and on in the 2-3 weeks I’ve had this model. The cord is noticeably shorter so it limits counter placement compared to other Keurig models. This slim design may not be the best option for everyone.

In terms of the overall, the only thing this one has going for it is the design, which can be limited. It doesn’t make better tasting coffee etc. It doesn’t have the strong brew button which was nice in a past model.

My recommendation is, if you want this model, buy it at a store on sale and not direct. If you want more options in your Keurig then don’t get this model. I’m glad to have a working Keurig but disappointed with this one.

Since it’s just me and I use it only 1-2 times a day, I’ve decided to keep it. It’s not worth the hassle of returning.

Bought this after owning a bigger Keurig that also had stopped working abruptly. With less than 10 uses I came back after attempting to brew coffee and it had spit out about 1/2 tsp of coffee and stopped.

Tried again, same result. Tried to unscrew the top but it’s made to be a huge challenge so I popped the button off. Held the button underneath down with a screwdriver and it worked. For some reason, the plastic button stopped pressing down on the circuit board to signal for coffee flow.

No more Keurigs for me. Never had these problems with a regular coffee pot, not to mention having to buy new expensive coffee pods, because Keurig started building them in a way that requires you to buy pods from them, universal ones no longer work, and don’t even provide one when you buy the device.

Wow, so nice of you Keurig, thanks for thinking of the customer.

This is the worst 4 cup coffee maker ever! This item needs to be checked for toxic materials in the plastic. The smell permeated my entire home – the smell was akin to horse hockeys left in 110 deg. heat! The smell transferred to the coffee.

The carafe was of very thin glass. The machine made 4 very small cups of coffee but after cleaning with everything I could think of, I packed it in the box and put it in the garbage bin outside. Never have I had anything that smelled like this machine.

I bought a Mr. Coffee 5 cup machine at the same price the next day, ran vinegar through it and then water. Made coffee with it with no odors or bad taste. Don’t bring this machine in your home if you have children or animals.

You definitely get a good hot cup of coffee, whereas Mr. Coffee would give me a “not as hot as you want” cup of coffee. The warmer/heater works great at the base for that “hot” coffee. I am neutral on the proprietary filter, its a little awkward to handle and probably would prefer the standard use of white coffee filters.

The Cons: I do not like the power light and switch on the side of the coffee maker. Easy to forget to turn it off if you can’t really see the power indicator lit up and have to turn the maker sideways to see the power light.

If it was in front you would be able to tell if you left it on or off. If thats not an issue for you then you are good to go. again, makes a nice hot mug of coffee. Cheers! ~Dave.

The odor from letting the coffee maker run even after through Five cycles was terrible. It was like turning an iron on linen and letting it sit dry. The bigger problem is that odor is soaked in the water that comes out of the reservoir.

The coffee maker certainly Can Not be used to perform the function for which it was developed. Save your money and go to Starbucks. A good gift for someone who “Has done you wrong”.

Filled my desired freshly grounded coffee on the filter and slid it in. Filled 2-3 carafe of water, and kept the lid open. I switched the power on ( side) and let the tank boil for 15 minutes, as I heard the tank boiling after about 13minutes , thats when I closed the lid.

Hot water/coffee will start to drip to the carafe. Then I switched the warmer ( front ) on. I wasted the first batch of coffee before that- because as soon as I filled the tank with 2 carafes of water I closed the lid right away and water started to drip into the carafe and coffee was still cold.

Thats one in the instruction that was missing – wait 15 minutes until you hear the tank boiling , then close the lid – Please note that as soon as the lid is closed, water starts to drip. Cheap white plastic.

a silver/black or white/ gold option could put some aesthetic value to it.

The simple metal pour overs that don’t need paper filters seemed attractive, but reviews gave me the impression that they clogged after a while. I’ve liked all OXO products, but hesitated because it looked like it took up too much room.

It doesn’t. So far, so good. I’m not snobby about coffee, and adjusting the measurements for my decaf is trial & error. Easy, quick, well made, and easy to clean. Serves my purpose. Update:I’ve used this several times since received almost a week ago.

Twice, I forgot to use the water reservoir and only used the cup filter part (with filter) and the cover. Of course, it dripped down faster, but I also think it tasted better and was hotter. I don’t regret buying this at all, but I will use without reservoir.

For years I’ve been drinking pour-over coffee, and what makes this a “must have” is the fact that you can pour all of the water at once* and walk away, the multiple holes disperse the water around the coffee grounds so all of the grounds are nicely covered for brewing, I love that it’s kept hot with the lid as you wait for the brewing to finish, and finally: the lid becomes a place to set the coffee maker.

Any small remaining drips are kept tidy! *I make a large 20-oz. cup of coffee each morning, so I fill the coffee maker with 12 oz. of water (the limit), but I wait only a few seconds to pour the remaining 8 oz.

This is exactly the product I needed for a single cup brew. It’s affordable and allows me to make as much or little as I want. What’s even better is that this fits perfectly atop my 30oz Yeti tumbler, as well as every other mug and tumbler I have.

The Yeti is my widest mouth tumbler, so it was a surprise to see that this fits perfectly. I just have to make two 12oz brews to get the right level of coffee before I add about 6oz of creamer or milk.

I love the OXO brand. I own many of their kitchenware items. Great quality, and innovative.

Firstly, this coffemaker is much wider and deeper in color than the pics can show you. The construction is solid. The white is perfect- not too bright. The stainless steel is more chrome-like than nickel but matches the nickel hardware in my kitchen.

The gray handle carafe is perfect and the carafe is a nice shape, great spout, pours evenly and the lid is durable, also closes completely with a click. The lid on top of the machine is heavy, sturdy and same stainless finish & ensures all the steam stays inside until the very end of the brew cycle it lets it out the back top slowly and it’s not a huge bout of steam but slow and even and have it away from the wall.

Made the first cup and it tasted much different and better than my Dutch pour-over method which took a little longer to do & clean actually. This is faster. It actually changed the way I tasted my usual pancake in the am in that it tasted 10 times better! That took me by surprise.

It’s easy to shake out grinds from the gold basket and then rinse clean. The water level is so easy to find inside and see clearly how much water to use. It has a button for 1-4 cups and you press it, then press Brew.

It can fill up to 12 cups and a max of 15 scoops of coffee. You need to buy a new charcoal water filter for it after 2 months or about- It works without it also. but I’ll stick with bc it changes the taste.

I really feel I’m getting all of my money’s worth in this coffeemaker! It is a good, decent size, big. The inside filter and filter basket is good quality and you can use cone shaped paper #4 if you don’t want the gold-tone but I love it- It’s permanent and there’s no chemicals used to treat it like there is in paper filters.

And the sound it makes while brewing reminds me of a steam-room that trickles out the most peaceful steam and water that’s relaxing and soothing to hear in the morning. Thank you for this coffee machine! I love mine in this white color.

It makes my kitchen look elevated now. This is a great coffee maker!.

Likes: Stainless steel carafe keeps coffee hot longer than expected – especially without a warming plate Removeable water reservoir for the pod brewer is well done – individual handle, removable and easy to see the current water levels Fast warm up time for pod brewing Good brew times for drip coffee Nice blue LED displays Tall enough to handle a 7″ travel mug (probably can take an 8″ if the drip tray cover is removed) Removable drip coffee basket with easy to grab loop Dislikes/areas for improvements: Coffee brewing complete notification – the beep is difficult to hear.

It would be nice to have the ability to change the tone and volume of the “beep” including a mute/no-beep option. Markings on the brew pod cup for aligning the holder are not obvious or easy to see. It would be better if the alignment markings were in the front as opposed to the rear of the machine where it is harder to see.

If you don’t have the arrows aligned, the hinged cover doesn’t close properly. The pod cup that comes with the machine to allow you to use your own grounds (instead of k-cups) has a very flimsy plastic hinge.

It looks like it will break off and cease to be a useable hinge after a few uses (because of that we stopped using it). Could not find after-market holders that fit properly either. The brewing coffee pot also suffers from visible demarkation to align the top easily.

Initially I didn’t see the small arrow markings since they are molded into the black plastic and initially do not visibly stand out. The removable brew basket has this same problem as does the pod holder.

The brewing coffee reservoir is extremely difficult to fill using the pot for a few couple of reasons: 1) The fill locations are difficult to pour water into without spilling/missing. It only has a couple of awkward 2×2 openings located in the back of the machine and it easy to miss the openings without a funnel.

2) The coffee pot cannot be fully emptied of water without inverting it nearly upside down due to the width of the pot itself (this is probably what makes it successful at retaining the heat due to the large vaccuum space) meaning that the top rim of the pot keeps 2oz of liquid in the pot.

3) The fill markings on the side of the reservoir are difficult to read especially when adding water. It is easy to overfill – fortunately there is a overfill hole that will prevent it from overfilling but unfortunately will spill onto your counter making a mess.

I like the look of the Cuisinart 12 cup and single cup brewer. I’ve had my eyes on it for some time and finally purchased one when there was a drop in price. I used the owner’s manual to put the unit together.

It wasn’t very complicated to set up but I did refer to the manual a few times to make sure I understood correctly. The design looks beautiful and fits great along with my other Cuisinart appliances.

There were 2 things about the Cuisinart coffee center that prevented me from giving a 5 star rating. The first and most important time was that I don’t particularly like adding water from the rear of the unit.

My coffee center is located at the back of my countertop to maximize counter space and I have to move it everytime I want coffee whether it’s a pot of coffee or a coffee pod. I believe that the unit would be better served if the water reservior was located on the top front or at either side which would be more ideal and provide easier access.

Also this alteration would make for an easier and more fluid coffee making experience. The other issue that I’ve had is simply setting the clock. I had several unsuccessful attempts at programming the clock both for the auto programming feature as well as the simply using the clock.

These design issues do not diminish the Cuisinart coffee center’s ability to brew a great up of coffee. I will continue to support and stand behind the Cuisinart brand and it’s quality products as I have several in my possession.

Cuisinart® Coffee Center™ 12 cup Coffee Maker & Single-Serve Brewer is poorly designed. It is better to have 2 separate units. On the single serve side, the maker is too high so that the coffee splatters before reaching the cups.

(Note: move the 12 cup carafe out of the way and be prepared to wipe up everything around the coffee maker as the single serve brews. ) It defeats the purpose of getting coffee right into your one cup by not using another decanter that is higher to catch the coffee or prop up the cup up to meet the coffee flow.

Also, when using the Home Barista Filter Cup with the mesh filter to use your own coffee instead of the pods, you get a lot of sediment because it cannot filter it like a paper filter. I am also disappointed in the taste of the coffee when using the single serve if not using a K-Cup type premade pod.

I bought this thinking it was a good idea because I want to use my own coffee and make different cups or flavors for guests. I don’t want to invest in pods all the time. And, if you want another cup quickly for someone else or yourself you need to wash the single serve Home Barista Filter Cup or purchase more from Cuisinart – an added expense and still a nuisance to clean all these Home Barista Filter Cups.

Personally, this is too much trouble. As far as the 12 cup coffee maker, it makes good coffee. My suggestion is if you want a large coffee maker and a smaller one buy two units.

My second Cuisanart coffee maker. The first was a stalwart carafe style that was still going strong after 6 years. Pros: HUGE capacity. Great feature, especially for lazy Sunday mornings, or work from home days.

Bold strength button. Literally use it for every pot. It really makes a difference. Selectable warming feature. I’ve left it set on the middle setting, and the coffee remains hot and tasty hours after brewing.

Cons: Hard to remove the lid. Why isn’t it like every other coffee pot in existence which easily opens and closes? It’s pain to take off and put back on. Really an issue when you try to clean the pot.

Hard to fill up. Probably because of the hard to remove lid, you always end up spilling water on your counter when trying to fill the reservoir. In over a month of owning, I’ve tried everything, but no matter what the angle, I still end up spilling water on the counter….

Pro tip, save the paper towel you use to wipe the counter up to wipe the warming plate if you try to utilize the shutoff feature when you try to pour a cup before the brewing has stopped. All in all, a solid coffee maker that makes a great pot of coffee.

Seems to be over engineered, but falls short when it comes to real world application. I looked past a lot of reviews that clearly stated the issues I found with this particular coffee maker. Figured it was user error of the review posters, but they were spot on.

Probably the last Cuisanart product I’ll buy.

I like that this Cuisinart coffeemaker has all I needed to brew the first cup except for the water and coffee. I chose a favorite blend coffee and either my usual filtered or unfiltered well water. Filtered is better.

This machine is a fine brew maker. The tone that announces the brew is ready is shrill, a cat or dog may find it objectionable but it can be turned off if you wish. A lower whistle sound would be better.

I notice the warming plate temperature must be set prior to starting the brew cycle. There is no option to change it until the next brew cycle and the warming plate does stay on for many hours. Not an all day warming but long enough to enjoy a full pot of coffee.

Be aware there may be a small puddle of condensation on your table/countertop behind the machine if you open the lid before it shuts down after keeping your pot warm for hours. Not a problem really, just be aware of its possibility.

Oh yes, the included unpacking instructions will help you avoid my mistake of watching the carafe bounce on the floor because I did not heed or read the instructions.

We like nearly everything about this coffee maker. Makes great tasting coffee, is easy to use, and is a stylish addition to our coffee center. For all the thought that must have gone into the design of the carafe cover, however, the pouring spout is decidedly this product’s weak link.

It pours acceptably at first, but as the level goes down so does the performance. It is painfully slow, and creates an inconsistent pour. We solve that by removing the cover to pour and replacing it; it pours better without the cover.

The gizmo that you place above the grounds to keep things warm is a great idea. Now if you could design it in such a way that it is easier to place the carafe assembly into its brewing place, that would be nice.

Overall, great product!.

My smeg drip coffee maker carafe broke and they don’t sell replacements. Had my eye on the ratio eight, but the lead time caused me to get this machine. I’m very happy with my purchase. The carafe keeps coffee warm longer compared to a hot plate, and the hot plate could coffee to taste burnt.

The components are high quality and easy to clean. I like the flat bed for coffee compared to the ratio eight and think it makes a better cup of coffee. The hardest part was picking the color.

It was a mini nightmare! It made loud noises when waiting on coffee which took almost 3 minutes to brew. It completely died within 3 months. This was a gift to me and I advised customer service of that matter the day I opened it and the pamphlet said register your product.

I did and the representative assured me it would be replaced if anything went wrong. Imagine my surprise when Keurig stated no proof of purchase no return and of course the buyer didn’t have any idea where or even if she had kept it.

I’m so shocked Keurig did not honor their word of replacement for a gifted item. I would’ve opted for a different less expensive model as long as it worked. I’m truly disappointed in their customer service.

I even went through all the steps with them and my coffee was cold the coffee maker made all its noises and he told me yes it seems you have a brewer motor that’s bad, take pictures of your coffee maker and make sure to turn it upside down and include the serial number and email it.

They must know this over priced brewer is a lemon as I received a email back telling me send pictures of what it was sent in (Amazon box) ? I thought ok whatever but I sent that with the pictures of the brewer.

They replied they didn’t need Amazon boxes or their invoices which they didn’t purchase from Amazon they just used the box to mail it in. I’m a 3 time buyer of Keurig and so disappointed they won’t replace it.

I purchased 3 larger brewers my first one fought a good fight and 5 years later I bought one for myself and a family member, here I am now a few years later with this mini plus that even Keurig won’t stand behind.

Save your money buy a cheap knock off at least you can afford to get another one.

I bought the K-Mini Plus and just used it today for first time. I replaced a K-Mini that worked for a little less than 3 years, but I loved it. I live alone and make 2-3 cups of coffee a day. So far, so good; but I don’t really think the “stronger” brew button does anything because the strength of the coffee brewed tastes exactly the same as what I brewed in the K-mini that didn’t have this feature.

I’m using the same flavors and amount of filtered water that I’ve always used. Disappointing, because I was looking forward to a stronger brew, and the main reason I purchased the plus instead of just the mini.

Also, this brewer doesn’t brew my coffee as hot as my previous K-mini. It’s okay but not as hot as I’d prefer; just barely passable, which is disappointing. I shouldn’t have to buy the “mac daddy” big brewer so that I can adjust the temperature; especially since my previous K-mini brewed a hotter cup of java.

I took excellent care of my previous brewer, keeping it descaled and clean, used only filtered water, etc. , but it started acting up about 2. 5 years after purchasing it. I was able to fix the issues by watching videos, but then the heating mechanism died.

I’m hoping this brewer lasts at least 5 years. My original big K-cup brewer lasted over 10 years! I moved to a small condo that has a small kitchen, so the mini size is crucial to me. If this K-Mini Plus brewer doesn’t last, I’ll be purchasing a knockoff brand because from what I’ve read, they last about 2-3 years and they are much cheaper.

For now I’m recommending the brewer, but I’ll edit my review in a yea or sooner if I have any issues.

This brand new little red delicious apple colored KEURIG coffee system is the best! It makes great coffee even just using the “My K Cup. ” I love the My K Cup this machine comes with because I make my own delicious coffee just using (my favorite) Dunkin Donuts French Vanilla ground coffee with 10 ozs of water (you can use whatever brand of ground coffee you desire).

I also sprinkle some ground cinnamon in my coffee mug before the coffee brews, and I get the best 10 ozs of coffee ever! WOW! Love it first thing in the morning, a relatively inexpensive cup of Joe that is simply superb! Also I use the ever ready standard K Cups too and they work best with just 8 oz of water.

This coffee system takes up minimal room on my already too small kitchen counter leaving plenty of room for other things. In fact I put my old enormous Keurig away that also still worked great to used this much smaller Keurig.

Coffee is wonderful, cost of ground coffee is minimal (instead of the what I consider the very over priced K Cups), and taste results are fabulous! Thanks Mr Keurig and QVC for bringing this product to market and even on Easy Pay! It couldn’t get any better!.

I purchased this 6 months ago because it was priced very well and wanted it as a possible replacement for an older machine my elderly Father had. I just opened it the other day and set it up. It brewed great and was easy to use.

As soon as I went to pour the coffee, the handle slipped off of the glass container and hot coffee spilled all over me (thank goodness I was fully dressed) and my clothes, the counter, the cabinets and the floor.

I could see that the top black lid unit slipped off the glass but when it did it appears to have disengaged the cheaper silver metal that is holding it on the outside bottom of the glass unit. I tried to put it back together and thought I had (I am tenacious) but it did it again on the next brew.

This carafe was inexpensively made somewhere and I do not have the receipt from 6 months ago. I tried contacting customer service but didn’t know what option to choose. Suggestions please? I would like to order a replacement thermal carafe, if possible, to prevent this from happening again.

Do you have any suggestions on which one will work with the under brew mechanism? The coffee maker works great and I don’t want to scrap it.

Our old Mr. Coffee brand coffee maker broke down, after many years. We replaced it with the most similar Mr. Coffee product we could find. That’s what we’ve always done. What a disappointment this model is.

First of all, the water does not flow out of the filter basket fast enough, and the grounds overflow the basket. Every. Single. Time. We’re using the same filters, the same amount of coffee as in our old coffee maker.

The entire top portion of the coffee maker has to be rinsed daily to remove grounds, something we shouldn’t have to do. Second, water puddles in the ridges of the lid and the area where the filter basket sits.

The narrow crevices are difficult to clean. Third, we wanted a white coffee maker like our last one. This seems to be an industry-wide issue. We couldn’t find any coffee makers in white, except for some brands we’d never heard of.

But we quickly realized how much more difficult it is to see dirt in a black coffee maker. Perhaps that is why so few white coffee makers are even available anymore. Fourth, what’s the point of that stupid water filter that balances inside the filter basket? The water we use for coffee is filtered through a Brita.

It doesn’t need a second filtering through the sketchy-looking filter that comes with this coffee maker. There are no instructions, and it took some time even to figure out how to use it. We didn’t use it at first.

Then we guessed that might be the reason the basket overflows. Even after using the filter, the basket still overflowed. Every. Single. Time. We’ve used nothing but Mr. Coffee brand coffee makers since 1996.

This one’s going in the garbage, and we are buying something else. Guess what brand we won’t consider? Withdraw this coffee maker from the market before you lose other brand-loyal customers like us.

Overall, I like my Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Coffee Maker. The design is very simple, nothing fancy. It has a quick on and off button. I usually set it up for in the morning and click the button on right when I get up.

It doesn’t take that long to perk the coffee, maybe 5 minutes. If I happen to get there before it’s done, I love the auto pause feature. I can grab a cup early without it dripping all over the heating pad.

The coffee is just the right temperature. It is always plenty hot. So far I like this coffee maker very well. The quality seems pretty good although the carafe handle is a bit different style than my last one and it is a bit more awkward to hold.

I think I will get use to it. I also feel that the glass is not as thick and sturdy as my last coffee maker. I feel as if I really need to be careful with it. All and all I’m happy with the product however.

It serves it’s purpose and makes great, hot coffee. I do recommend it!.

How I’m posting this review a YEAR later, I have no idea. This little coffee pot is my saving grace, my sun on a dark day, my go-to pick-me-up. After a year of daily use, this little pot is still going strong.

It is the PERFECT size for one-person. I fill it to the brim every morning, and it’s the exact right amount of coffee to start my day. It brews quickly and perfectly, and the actual karafe is SUPER easy to clean.

So much so that it typically just takes a quick rinse. This is literally my favorite item in my office. The fact that it was so affordable and works so well was such a nice surprise, and I’m hoping to be able to continue enjoying it for years to come.

This is a hotel type unit (light commercial). very basic with limited features. it does have an auto off function and glass bowl, but does not come with an operators manual that would specify filter size.

Product arrived in its generic bulk purchase box and was undammaged.

We really like these coffeemakers. Have used this model for years, and have used-up two of them. Nothing super-fancy, but works just great–simple, effective, inexpensive. In fact, we have three spares, still in their boxes! Nowadays, with products on the market for just a couple of years before being replaced, when you find something you really, really like and would buy again when worn-out–clothes, tools, cookware–you’d better buy several and store them away!!.

First, the good stuff. It’s slick looking, easy to figure out even without the directions. The 1-4 cups special Brew is excellent. I’m using less coffee with this machine than my previous one. Definite difference between using a paper filter coffee, and using the gold tone filter coffee, so you can regulate how you like your Brew.

First cup of the day is extremely hot and lovely. Now the not-so-good stuff. As in any review you read on this coffee maker, you will find that getting the last cup of coffee is only possible by practically inverting the pot upside down.

A flaw. Plus, as far as keeping the coffee hot? Not so much. Especially if there’s only a cup left. Forget about it. It’s going to be lukewarm. These flaws aside, I would definitely purchase the machine again.

Especially because Cuisinart customer service is outstanding.

Sleek simple design. Easy to use without a ton of unnecessary gadgets. Stainless steel matches my kitchen. Only thing to consider and point out: This is a thermal carafe vs. a glass carafe. It brews your coffee and it is hot and the perfect temp.

But once it finishes the brew cycle it immediately cuts off and relies on the thermal carafe to keep the coffee hot. Great if you only drink one cup! If you like a second cup and go back to refill after 20-30 minutes the coffee is noticeably not as hot as first brewed and just warm.

Also you have to go by the cups of water from the gauge on the side of the machine vs. the notches on carafe when filling up. The thermal carafe is heavier compared to a glass carafe and harder to clean the inside.

Plan on using it as a backup or give to someone else, but will be going back to the glass carafe and a pot that stays on for at least an hour and then automatically shuts off.

I have had the Cuisinart 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker for about a month and I am extremely happy with my it. This replaced the previous Cuisinart model with a stainless steel thermal carafe, where the plastic top had broken and caused problems.

Of course, the top was no longer available as a replacement part. However, this newer model has an improved top without the part that broke. I am very pleased with the multiple-port, showerhead-type spray that delivers the hot water to the coffee on the current model compared to a single port on the old model.

If you want an automatic version that approximates a pour over coffeemaker, this Cuisinart product fills the bill. Also, I like the Bold setting, which holds the water longer and makes my milder roasted coffees have fuller flavor.

Finally, with a stainless steel thermal carafe, to make sure the coffee is hot and stays hot for a couple of hours, you MUST first fill the carafe with hot water first, just like it suggests in the product manual.

If you want hot coffee for morning and later in the day, this is not the product for you; get the ones with a glass carafe and hot plate. But if you are serious about your coffee and want a automatic coffeemaker, this is the one I suggest.

It can make up to 12 cups of coffee, enough to make everybody happy everyday. I also like that while brewing, you can sneak to fill your cup and put it back on to begin or resume brewing. Just make sure to put the carafe back on within 30 seconds to avoid overflowing.

It is very easy to clean. You can either place the carafe and filter basket on the dishwater (top rack) or hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry. It is recommended to clean the cofeemaker with vinegar at least once a month to prevent mineral and hard water build up to prevent a clog on the cofee water.

Per recommendation, you need to fill water reservoir with white vinegar up to th 6 cup mark and 6 cup of cold water (12-cup mark). Place filter then turn on the coffeemaker to start cleaning/brewing half of the cleaning mixture.

Turn it off and let it sit for minutes and start again to finish brewing the remaining half of the mixture. And then fill reservoir with cold tap water and turn on for a complete brewing and wash the carafe and filter basket.

I recently picked up this coffeemaker as my old one was becoming worn out. I’m a simple coffee drinker,and I just wanted something to make a nice,hot pot of black coffee. My first impression is how nice the coffeemaker looked.

A nice,shiny black color with silver trim;a sleek design. The soft touch controls have a modern look that are more like a TV remote than your usual coffeemaker. It fit in nicely with my other kitchen appliances.

So how’s the coffee? I put in 12 small scoops of ground coffee in the basket,and filled it with bottled water. After about 4 minutes,I heard the sound of the water heating up,and saw steam coming from the basket.

Apparently,I did not have the top part closed correctly,but after I closed it,everything seemed to work correctly. I must say,for an inexpensive coffeemaker,this makes very HOT coffee. It made a very rich brew that tasted as good as what you would get at a coffeeshop.

I do enjoy the sneak a cup feature,as I just can’t wait for my morning cup. I did find the programmable feature easy to use,although I haven’t used it that often. Overall,it’s a nice,reliable coffeemaker that looks great.

If you’re not looking for anything fancy,or not willing to spend a lot,then this might be perfect for you.

Just what I needed. I needed a coffee maker that will not cost me a lot for a cup of coffee or two everyday. And I got it! Very easy to use and still love a classic coffee maker. It doesn’t cost me a lot to buy coffee because I don’t need to buy the expensive “pods” like the new coffee makers in the market.

It does the job and easy to operate. Doesn’t require high maintenance. All you need is to fill water reservoir with cold tap water, place basket filter into brew basket and then add your coffee grounds then turn it on to start brewing.

The “keep hot” plate keeps the coffee for two hours or until the power button is pressed. Make sure to discard coffee grounds and filter after each use. This coffee maker makes up to 12 cups of coffee.

Tip: don’t overfill or exceed water over max line. If you do, it will leak at the back of the coffeemaker. One cool feature that I like is he sneak-a-cup feature where you can remove the carafe while brewing to pour your cup.

Make sure to turn the carafe back on within 30 seconds to prevent overflow. Once carafe has been placed back on to the plate, brewing begins again. You can also set brewing time so that you don’t have to wait for it to brew in the morning.

Carafe and brew basket are both dishwasher safe. But I prefer to hand wash it with soapy water and air dry.
